Disappointment heaped upon disappointment. That’s what the 2021 Miami Dolphins season has become. This author is having a difficult time finding a bright spot to focus on to assist him in getting past this current 1-7 record, and the organizational dysfunction from the the top (Owner Stephen Ross) all the way down from the GM (Chris Grier), Head Coach (Brian Flores), the OCoCo’s (George Godsey & Eric Studesville), the DCo (Josh Boyer), the STCo (Danny Crossman), the rest of the assistant coaches and of course our players. It has been a failure at every avenue, not one good unit to look at and say “Well, at least the ____ is playing well. 29th in points scored and the same 29th in points allowed. 1 year ago, we were SIXTH in points allowed, SIXTH!!!! We were 15th in points scored, midpack.

In addition to the poor play of our football team, we have the team owner calling a QB on a different team on the phone to talk, a QB who is embroiled in a legal mess as he faces 22 civil lawsuits for sexual misconduct.

Mathematically, this team can still salvage a better than .500 season, which seems more ridiculous at this point than our current record of 1-7. If Xavien Howard doesn’t force that fumble, and recover it Game 1 in Foxborough we’re 0-8 folks!!! How have we fallen so far, so fast? Coach Flo looked he had this team on the upswing. Yes, lots of moves were made, but think about the players besides Kyle Van Noy that were traded or cut. Shaq Lawson was not good last season, he had a very subpar season for our Dolphins last year. Benardrick McKinney hasn’t seen the field and he’s healthy in 2021. Ryan Fitzpatrick is on IR for the season. I’d say one guy who may have helped this season may be C Ted Karras but even has only started 4 games this season, played in all 8. What’s basically happened is we have just regressed in every facet of the game. At this juncture, it’s hard to think anyone who is part of this team or organization is safe, all ripe to be fired, traded, or cut, sans the owner who unfortunately can’t be replaced until he decides to sell.
The vaunted secondary, second to none. X has 2 INT’s, and Elandon Roberts who appeared to be the target has one INT, and the rest ZERO. Yes, ZERO! The LB’s we thought were going to wreak havoc on NFL QB’s this season. Andrew Van Ginkel or (AVG at best) has 1/2 a sack. Rookie pass rush terror Jaelan Phillips has 1.5 sacks. Jerome Baker who has been injured most of the season has 1 sack. Emmanuel Ogbah leads the team with 2.5 sacks. Team can still focus and double team Ogbah while tight ends or RB’s can keep Phillips at bay. Shaq Lawson didn’t get it done in 2020 and the combo of AVG and Jaelan Phillips aren’t getting it done in 2021. Christian Wilkins has played OK, and Raekwon Davis was injured and gets a pass. Rookie safety Jevon Holland has been somewhat of a bright spot showing above average athletic ability but I’ve seen him toasted quite a few times. He hasn’t done anything extraordinary yet but he seems to have a good trajectory.
I think we have talent on this team, I really do. I think the coaches have dropped the ball this season, and I believe most of them, if not all of them will pay for that with their jobs. The CoCo’s will be gone. Josh Boyer has a bit of time to fix this defense but more than likely he’s gone too. Whether Head Coach Brian Flores can survive depends on the next 9 games and how the team does in them. He has a chance to come back. If he somehow survives, does GM Chris Grier keep his job? At the moment we have the #12 pick via SF. The Philadelphia Eagles own our 1st RD pick currently at #3. Truth is, while I’d love to have the better pick, we’d find some way to fuck it all up, as it appears we have been doing the last few years. in 2020 we had THREE 1st Round picks. We have an average young QB (Tua Tagovailoa) with our #5 pick. We have a struggling LT (Austin Jackson) who is now playing LG with our #18 pick and we have a defensive back (Noah Igbinoghene) who has only played and been active in 2 games thus far in 2021 after playing sparingly in 2020. Does it matter how low or high picks are for that matter how many when you continue to strike out? Out of the three first rounders, none of them are excelling to the point where they are considered a blue chip player. With our 2 second round picks in 2020 we have 2 starters, RG Robert Hunt and NT Raekwon Davis. Neither has been excellent, Hunt has struggled quite a bit lately at RG while Raekwon Davis showed lots of promise last season and was injured early this season and is slowly regaining his form. 2020 3rd RD pick Brandon Jones is slowly becoming part of the defense and has potential to steal the job from veteran Eric Rowe which could potentially give the Dolphins a nice young safety tandem of Holland and Jones.
The 2021 draft doesn’t seem as bad as the 2020 draft class. Jaylen Waddle is getting lots of targets, but far too many of them are within 10 yards of the LOS. It’s not a Tua, or a Waddle problem folks, it’s an O-line failure. Jaelan Phillips came to the Dolphins as a very athletic, diversified pass rusher. So far, he’s been stifled. He supposedly has a nice pass rush repertoire but it hasn’t been effective as of yet. S Jevon Holland seems to be the darling of this draft so far. OT Liam Eichenberg has played a lot but hasn’t shown he belongs at any particular O-line spot, whether it’s LT, LG, or RT. We’ll see if he develops. Honestly, it’s hard to gauge a player when a unit is playing so poorly, and our O-line has been the worst offender. TE Hunter Long who was hailed as the Gesicki replacement hasn’t quite hit the field running, and has been mostly inactive. You better hope he’s not the guy that replaces Mike Gesicki!!! The other 2 picks, OT Larnel Coleman and RB Gerrid Doaks haven’t seen the field and their fortunes or misfortunes remain to be seen.
All in all, 2 very disappointing drafts, probably much more with the 2020 draft class, considering we had a treasure trove of picks to improve our team and it’s yet to materialize. Chris Grier has to take the hit on that. If somehow he manages to keep his GM post, I’d expect our record at the end of the season will have to be much closer to .500 than it currently is. Same goes for Coach Flo, who built this coaching staff and elected to have Co Offensive Coordinators. That contemporary style most likely won’t be seen again in the NFL. This week we play the even more inept Houston Texans, whose QB our wonderful owner has outwardly courted. Oh, he doesn’t actually play for the Texans, but maybe he will eventually now that we didn’t actually trade for him. He’s been inactive all season so the Texans can, you know, trade him. Well, now, maybe their supposed top 10 QB will hit the field for his team. It won’t happen this week which means our putrid team will probably find it’s only week in which we will be the favorites this season. I’m so excited!!!
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

This from Palm Beach Post is about right
Offense F
Going against perhaps the worst defense in the league, the Dolphins managed only 17 points, 14 of which came via the Texans’ ineptitude (turnovers). Miami averaged 1.9 yards per rush. Two interceptions were thrown. Three fumbles were lost. If not for Mike Gesicki’s one-handed catches, we’d be investigating how to make this grade even lower.

M13:
Tua didn’t play yesterday because of a fracture in his finger on his throwing hand not because of his ribs. He threw deep just fine against the Bills
——————-
Ken, we aren’t disagreeing on your first sentence, man… don’t know why you bring that up.
No, Tua didn’t throw deep just fine against the Bills two weeks ago. I don’t know if you’re ‘box-score scouting’ or what (YAC don’t attribute to the current strength of Tua), but Tua’s deepest ball that game was a labored (damn near with a running start) 33-yard rainbow (damn near duck) to Gesicki. And his deepest ball to DeVante was another rainbow (damn near duck) for 20 yards.
Tua still isn’t 100% after breaking his ribs, and he won’t be for another couple/few weeks.
Now add the broken finger to all of that, and it’s going to be very difficult to evaluate Tua going down the stretch… not to mention his O-Line is a joke… not to mention (you’re spot-on, man) that his receiving corps is oft-injured.
I don’t know what you watched but that pass was right on the Money to Gisecki. Far from a duck. It hit him on the hands in coverage. I don’t get it
If Brissett was throwing the ball down the field, I might agree that maybe Tua’s injury is a factor, but the fact is neither QB is throwing down the field more than once or twice in a game, so since a healthy Brissett isn’t doing it either, I don’t know that we need to look for unusual reasons Tua isn’t.
The oline and the scheme seem the likely reason. Our oline can’t protect the QB in pass protection, so everything is schemed short.
It really stymies the whole offense. As a result, teams are playing everything in close, which also affects the running game.
And you can add to that, the incompetence of our running gameplan…our running game consists of two plays, draw play middle left, and draw play middle right.
Well said
It’s actually the same exact offense with Brisset or Tua
And the same flaws in terms of the OL
It’s not like we’ve had a small sampling of Brisset
We’ve seen him for 4 games
The offense is better with Tua
I actually think they may go downfield more
It’s just a really bad scheme
Yep, the offense looks the same, and performs the same, with either under center.
Brissett has started 4 games and played approx 4.75.
Tua has started 5 games and played approx 4.25.
We’ve scored 76 points with Tua under center (approx 17.9 per game), and 79 with Brissett under center (approx 16.6) per game. It’s depressingly similar.

If you believe this BS statement, I’ve got some land…
The casino’s attorney, Johnny L. Griffin III, said the company acknowledged it had made a mistake but moved quickly to amend its filings and was committed “to ensuring that all of its compliance and reporting programs are strictly followed and updated as the laws and regulations require.”
When I worked at a Tahoe casino in the 90s, they had a similar, but smaller scale episode with a whale, they said, they’d gladly take the 100k fine, if it meant getting his $6m play
Obviously casinos love players coming with duffle bags filled with cash. I was always aware of the $10k limit. On big nights would know to stop at 9k. Sometimes had a wife, buddy or girlfriend cash in the over if lost track or keep some in chips for the future.
Thing is doesn’t have to be $10 k in winnings…..doesn’t matter how much you put out. All about how much cash in with.

Piggy, you are right about probably 3 first round QB’s even though none are top 10 talent. They all have some shortcomings.
– Kenny Pickett, IMO, is the best all round based on his performance this season. His first 3 seasons were mediocre at best. He is on fire this season (29 TD’s, 3 INT’s, 4 TD’s rushing). He has good size, arm strength, quick release, pocket presence and mobile. Might be first off the board.
– Sam Howell will be a first rounder. He is a serious dual threat and can throw it deep with accuracy for a guy 6’1 215. His INT’s are up this year but he is just trying to hard to make things happen after losing 2 top RB’s and his 2 top WR’s in the last draft.
– Carson Strong will probably be a first rounder. He has the size and arm but is about as mobile as Tom Brady.
– Matt Corral is a gamer. I like the way he plays but he is only 6’0 200 pounds. Someone possibly takes a chance on him in first round. He threw a lot of INT’s last year (14) but seems to have corrected that this year.
– Desmond Ridder is an interesting one. Great size and mobility. Been a solid starter 4 years at Cincy. His accuracy could be a concern.
– Malik Willis is super athletic and will get a lot of yards running but is a very inconsistent passer. He has thrown 3 INT’s in 3 of his last 5 games against lesser talent. For all his athleticism, he takes a lot of sacks. I’d have to say no thanks.
– Spencer Rattler has been overhyped, IMO.
I’m honestly keeping an eye on corral and strong who can both be really good
Those are my early favorites so far
Howell is not having a good season
But you know who also had a bad senior season: Justin Herbert
I think you can go with any of Pickett, Strong, Coral and Howell and have a good prospect. Forgot to mention my knock on Pickett was he doesn’t have a cannon but can make all the throws.
I try to give most prospects the benefit of the doubt
The QB position is hard to evaluate
But when I see a group of QBs and no one jumps out as the premier prospect, my thoughts are you might be able to nab a good one on day 2
We will probably have an early 2nd round pick with the way things are going
Owe M13 a beer.
Maybe not since we page turned. lol
I was aware I was just going for the visual manifestation to let it set in some more
The rule still applies after a page turn
Don’t get stingy with 🍻
Ken, I got ya. The visual does make it set in.
Kenny Pickett, Pitt, 6’3 220.
Yeah I’ve seen him and he’s tearing it up
But he’s got a weak arm….lol
It’s actually his big draw back. He’s a dunk and dunk specialist
Ha, just responded up the page that he doesn’t have a cannon but he can make all the throws. He has good anticipation so he will have to get comfortable in his system and receivers before he would be successful.

That’s what’s incredibly great about Tua, his accuracy. You seem to think I’m taking a stance AGAINST Tua… I’m not. He’s not 100% and he’s still able to make things happen.
I’ll tell ya this: if a ball-hawking Safety was back there on the throw we’re discussing to Gesicki, it would have been intercepted. He’s got no velocity on his throws yet, as we saw at Alabama. He’ll get there, but he needs more time.
Speaking of (lack of) time, I continue to illustrate how miserable our O-Line has become. Doesn’t matter who the QB may be, this O-Line will fail the QB. Our receivers are banged up (nodding to you), the play-calling is terrible, we’ve got no functional running game, and our Defense has all too often failed to support our woeful Offense.
It’s a systematic failure of colossal proportions. Plenty of blame to go around, and Tua is NOT the problem in my eyes… but he, too, is banged up… and it’s unfair to evaluate him in this current environment. Tua is NOT the reason we’re 2-7… it’s the FO and coaching staff.
Another thing… I’m not sure it’s fair to evaluate Chris Grier under these circumstances, either. I waffle on Grier, but I’m not entirely sure the failure is his to own.
Grier is a big reason we are in these circumstances. Getting rid of veterans on the line when the young guys weren’t ready. Drafting guys in the first round that are young, but have potential instead of guys who could have started right away, not to mention guys coming off of injuries.
I know you weren’t speaking to me, but I’m throwing my 2 cents in.
I don’t think you’re coming off as blaming Tua. I think you’re just trying to come up with answers (like why doesn’t Tua throw deep), and throwing out some ideas that might be outside the box.
I think when everything is failing, it’s time to start looking at the system. I think most of us agree, the entire team has regressed, every single unit, including special teams. So, I agree and put this on coaching and/ or the GM.
THANK YOU! That’s all I’m saying, and most of us agree that the failure lies upon the coaching/FO and or the GM.
And to be perfectly honest, it ultimately comes down to the OWNER.
I think we will agree to disagree. I have seen plenty of throws from Tua with velocity. There is nothing wrong with his arm and his ribs are not stopping him from throwing deep. It’s scheme, bad OL and injuries to our WRs
NOTHING wrong with agreeing to disagree in my book, Hulkster! Cheers!
I disagree to agree

Then, I see a post like this… and I’m right back to thinking Grier IS part of the problem. Like I said, I waffle on Grier.
Good post, SB7… you aren’t wrong about this.
My 4:06 PM post above was about not being able to judge the ingredients the GM selected when the chef (coaching) can’t boil water.
Yes, Grier has made some really boneheaded decisions on our roster.
“Flores also said that wide receiver Will Fuller, who has a broken thumb, will remain on injured reserve this week.”
We bet on 3 injury prone WRs in Fuller, Parker and Williams. Was thinking some would fold on us. Never thought would be all of them.
Williams problems are not injuries this year he just apparently doesn’t care
And Parker said in an interview before he went on IR (and before “aggravating” in practice) that “injuries happen.” Not exactly Rudy stuff.
▪ Receiver Will Fuller remains out with a finger injury and won’t play Thursday. Flores had no update on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s availability.
▪ Receiver Preston Williams will play Thursday after not playing against Houston. Flores said Williams was inactive partly because the Dolphins wanted to elevate Kirk Merritt to use him as a receiver and on special teams.
▪ Center Greg Mancz will miss Thursday’s game with an ankle injury; Austin Reiter will remain the starting center, with Michael Deiter still sidelined by a foot injury. Mancz played nine snaps Sunday before departing; Reiter played the final 66 offensive snaps. Flores said the staff has discussed giving left tackle Greg Little some playing time.
▪ Flores likes how young safeties Jevon Holland and Brandon Jones are playing: “Both those young guys are doing some good things.”
▪ Flores said rookie third-rounder Hunter Long – who has played just 34 snaps all season, including 29 on offense – isn’t playing because “it’s a crowded tight end room. We think he’s going to be a solid player in this league, just waiting for his opportunity.”
▪ Godsey is impressed how Jaylen Waddle has been able to play multiple receiver positions: “Not just being a slot. We want to play him inside, outside, shifting him across formations. As a rookie, it’s a credit to him.”
▪ Godsey declined to say how much of the Dolphins’ playbook cannot be used this season because the offensive line generally cannot be trusted. He said “plays that we designed that involve the quarterback holding the ball a little bit — I’d like to erase those from the call sheet.”
▪ With the Dolphins short-handed at receiver, Miami played a bunch of two tight end sets but again made Long inactive. Mike Gesicki logged 59 of Miami’s 75 offensive snaps, Durham Smythe 45, Adam Shaheen 36 and Cethan Carter 4.
▪ Emmanuel Ogbah didn’t start for only the second time this season but produced 2.5 sacks. Ogbah played 53 snaps (most among Dolphins defensive linemen), followed by Adam Butler (40), Christian Wilkins (38), Raekwon Davis (31) and Zach Sieler (21).
▪ With DeVante Parker and Fuller sidelined, Mack Hollins started and played a season-high 60 offensive snaps. Among other receivers, Waddle played 65 of Miami’s 75 offensive snaps, Albert Wilson played 17, Merritt 11 and Isaiah Ford 4.

What I heard Shaheen gets more playing time than Gisecki?
The idea Gesicki plays less than our other TEs is wrong. He leads our TE room in snap count by a fair margin, and has led the TE room in snap count in 6 out of 8 games (Texans game not included in this breakdown.)
https://www.thephinsider.com/2021/10/25/22744725/2021-falcons-vs-dolphins-review-offensive-and-defensive-snap-counts-for-miami
But the idea that picking on Gesicki bugs people is right.
But then again, we pass more than we run by about 2 to 1, and if our run game was more effective, more snaps might go to Smythe and Shaheen.
By “picking” meant on this board. He’s a great player. Even if yeah might not be best suited to run blocking.
“Miami played a bunch of two tight end sets but again made Long inactive.” Who picked that guy?
He can’t even beat out Carter most weeks for the 4th TE spot. I’m hoping his knee injury is the reason his season has been a complete bust so far.
“Flores said Williams was inactive partly because the Dolphins wanted to elevate Kirk Merritt to use him as a receiver and on special teams.” — time for Preston to call his agent.
Examining ways to improve in fucking November probably wouldn’t be necessary if f you properly evaluated this team in the off-season
But you let flowers and karras go and felt comfortable to start he season with Jackson at LT
This is a reason to fire Flores
This detailed the season more than anything else
Dirty AF…
He should be suspended for that
Exactly!
—————–
What?!! That was intended to hurt another player: that deserves at LEAST a one-game suspension, probably more. 😡
Mac Jones intentionally twisted
https://twitter.com/philorbanwsoc9/status/1457743909384335361?s=21
Makes me sick to see dirty tactics like that.
Mac Jones fully embracing ‘The Patriot Way’
“The Dolphins could face the disturbing possibility that all three of the tackles they drafted in the first 42 picks of the past two drafts might end up as guards. And not just guards, but mediocre guards. (All three were initially tried by the Dolphins at tackle.)”
— Barry Jackson
I don’t think they are moving Eichenberg to OG
Hunt was drafted to be an OG wasn’t he?
This is really just a Jackson story
Eich was at LG during training camp. But yeah seems they want him at T now, where results have not been great.
Thought Hunt did fine at RT….. but team made the choice to move him to RG.
Who knows?
Eich has struggled a lot at LT. He looked better at RT through PS. He hasn’t looked like a lock as a tackle, at all. Jackson, believe it or not, is probably still the best LT prospect on the team. He’s been terrible at guard. He’s weak and soft. I’d like to know where Kindley went. He looked better than Jackson.
Kindley is still on the roster they are just playing musical OL at this point
What I can’t figure out is why Kindley is never mentioned in articles. Seems starting guard no longer starting would be a natural info piece.
Elandon Roberts to Tua, “it’s coaching….it’s coaching….they don’t appreciate you”
He agrees with me…lol
He was also lip reading.
Lip reading usually pure projection
https://youtu.be/uejp99whmkc?t=12
Kinsley got in someone’s dog house. That seems pretty certain to me. He played a lot better than anyone else they have had there (Eichenberg or Jackson). That’s not saying a lot but the fact they don’t have him out there despite him representing out best option there, says they aren’t working through the issues they are dog housing him. Something is wrong with Flores this year, he seems to have lost the team and this co-offensive coordinator stuff shows he isn’t making decisive decisions with his staff either. If he didn’t like one more than the other and decided to let them share the position instead, then he knew he didn’t have the right person for the job
Something happened with Kindley. Didn’t have his old starting job at camp. Was thinking maybe with his body frame that he blew up during the off season, but that’s only one of like a dozen things it could be.
LOL, I don’t know if anyone else will appreciate this, but it cracked me up.
I’m watching Princess Bride with my wife and granddaughter and this just occurred to me.
The actor who plays the 6 fingered man is Christopher Guest.
Christopher Guest also played Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap- the one who has the infamous line “These go to eleven.”
When he is revealed as the 6 fingered man, I turned to my wife and said “His fingers go to eleven.” 😂😂
That is funny 😄
I’ve watched this movie 100 times and never made that connection before, lol.
LOL
It’s a work in progress. This offense is very new and a lot of these players have a very little body of work playing together. Nothing has gone smoothly so far. It’s up and down all year.
My wife and I look forward to the NFL bad lip reading videos every year. They’re the best.
Ride the win and go from there. That’s where I’m at. Lots of games yet to be played and we are what we are right now. Just want to see the team get better. Not expecting anything big, just progress moving forward.
On a positive note.
How about Holland. I love his energy and he seems to be around the ball constantly making plays. I’m excited to watch him get better and better. He and Jones could be the making of one heck of a tandem. That with our highly priced CBs, could be one great secondary. Yeah I know he fumbled the punt…I don’t think he should be returning kicks in the first place.
Holland really does look the part. Brandon Jones too. Rowe is a solid vet but those two young guys look to be the future.
Like what I’m seeing from Phillips too. It’s only a matter of time before he breaks out. You can see he’s trying to learn the fundamentals of playing OLB/DE simultaneously. You can see him doing his job setting the edge and dropping in coverage. Then on the pass rush he’s trying to figure it out. I’ve been impressed with his hustle and speed for a big guy; 6-5 260+. He reminds me of Jason Taylor finding his way early on. But he’s a bigger dude at this stage; JT was 235-240.
I got Holland’s jersey. It came in time for the fest game.
It was Jones who almost sacked Taylor when Holland got his pick. They’re a good pair of safeties.
Tim I’d like to start seeing 15 make a little more noise but he is coming along.
Agreed. Phillips reminds me of a Charles Haley, Jason Taylor, DeMarcus Ware type of guy who is just getting started.
Too young too fast is the problem. The top teams are not made up of all young players. They have a good mix. Maybe Grier and/or Flores got a little too cocky.
Been saying it for months. This roster has no body of work together. We’re seeing it now. 😦
Yeah there are some bright spots out there.
I just can’t understand why they either are the worst evaluators of OL or continue to hire the worst coaches.
Jakeem fixing to get traded again
ER, I hear ya! But is it coaching on the OL or is it that these guys can’t play on a high level? It’s definitely something. LOL
i certainly hope tua plays thurs, give him a chance, nothing to lose
I know y’all have different views on a win vs a team even more ineffective than ourselves, but I loved it. In a season where Ws are going to be in short supply you take them where you can (and glad Brian got to see it too). I don’t care that it exposed our flaws even more, I don’t care that we’re going to get bull-fucked by the Ravens on Thursday night (I won’t be waking up in the wee small hours to watch what I could see at an abattoir after a good night’s sleep) I just enjoyed the win.
We all know our shortcomings this season – a one-dimensional offence which doesn’t even work in that dimension and a defence that should have been a strength this year but has regressed on an epic scale.
Couple of observations.
Anyone wondering why we don’t run too often check this out
When you see Najee stiff arming the shit out of defenders it’s not difficult to imagine what might have made this season a bit more palatable and put another piece in place.
Speaking of which I hope we are scouting this kid
No matter who you put in at QB, this is not a recipe for success.
Given that you have an OL that is shite beyond anyone’s wildest expectations, can’t hold blocks, allow blitzers to run free and you have running backs who can’t see gaping holes or take advantage of them when they do appear, it is no wonder to me we go with the QB with the quickest release (good thread here).
Let’s face it, everyone is auditioning for next year now. There’s no point putting brisket in – we all know what we have with him now. Let every player be judged on merit. It’s difficult to do that with so much systemic failure within the organisation, but that’s what Ross and everyone down from there will have to do. That’s why Flores going all in on the youth movement and going backwards from last year is such a head scratcher to me, but it is what it is now. I’m just watching for the players who deserve to stay beyond January (there are plenty that don’t). Put that on film so the current or new HC can see it.
To close on a slightly positive note, at least we don’t have this in charge!
UK wins the blog
UK
Good post about gaskin
I actually like gaskin a lot going back to his Washington days but I would have told you then he’s not an explosive back. He’s just a really well rounded back, but he shouldn’t be your starter
I don’t know what this team is thinking devaluing the position so much
They passed up some very good RBs to take players that would be inactive
I like Gaskin, Pisgter – I really do – but to me he’s a 3rd down back. I’m sick of us being in 3rd and long. Gimme some 3rd and short or converting on 2nd down. Get me a pre-surgery Henry. Too much to ask? (Yep – I know everyone else wants one too)
UK continues to win this morning. That is what I have been saying for a while. Gaskin is a great 3rd down back but we need an upgrade at starting RB
He runs into the line a lot
I think the tweet has it wrong
He actually has decent vision
He just doesn’t accelerate fast enough to go where his eyes are taking him
He’s got physical limitations
And that’s usually what you get when you draft a guy in the 7th round
I don’t blame gaskin, I blame the FO
I want Gaskin on this team as part of my rotation
But imagine if we had Harris
And he was spelled by gaskin
Javonta Williams is another Rookie having a god year
He has close to 500 yards spelling Melvin Ingram and just ran for 100 vs the cowboys
A really have a problem with the coaching on this team
But in this one, this is on Chris Grier who juat doesn’t value the position
It’s even more egregious on 2019 when we drafted Noah I instead of a RB
For you Orob about “my” wisdom:
“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
On to zip lines along Arenal Volcano…..pura vida and out!
You know, fuddy-duddy stuff….lmao!
UK – It’s funny how Big Ben is now among the quickest releases. His success in the NFL was directly tied to how long he used to hold onto the football, allowing receivers to get open. That’s how Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Juju Smith-Schuster had career years a few years ago. Now Ben is in survival mode, he sees any pressure, the ball is gone. The difference with Brady is he sees the field better than anyone and makes anticipatory throws as good as anyone else too. You have to have confidence, and you also must have receivers on the same page as you so they can also know where to expect the football. Tom Brady demands that from his receivers, we insists on it and his work ethic and tireless dedication to working with his receiver group shows all the time. WE probably haven’t had the same 4 or 5 WR’s on the field in any one game this season, it’s been a revolving door. The O-line has also been a revolving door, injuries and coaching moves have different guys in all the time. That just makes everything else all the more difficult, then add in all of our own dysfunction and you get what we’ve seen this season.
Yeah Mike E – Big Ben was fun to watch in the early days – he wasn’t elusive like a Wilson, Mahomes, Brees or Rodgers – defenders used to bounce off him a la Cam. Now he’s like late-vintage Marino – a bionic QB with not much tread left on those tyres. I do see some of the traits of a Brady type in Tua. Of course he has years of learning Ds and at least another 12 months (ideally) to find out if he can take the top off a D but his work ethic, accuracy and ability to lead a receiver are admirable. All he needs is a receiving corps, a line and a back to complement our attack. At least part of the picture is there – Gesicki and Waddle.
I agree UK. I think Tua can be a Tom Brady like passer in the NFL. Hit mostly short and intermediate passes and every now and again throw a deep one if they give it to you and the O-line can hold that long.
Speaking of Big Ben, here’s one he held onto and got flattened. Then I can only assume he used a Jedi mind-trick to get a taunting penalty out of that play. What happened to the NFL?
In case you didn’t get enough of it
This year everyone should be especially thankful to Mike Gesicki for giving us a highlight
He’s the ’21 spirit of ’07 Camarillo. Coincidentally, we beat the Ravens in that game. That lightning bolt isn’t going to strike twice. 🤢
Lot of people are big on Isiah Spiller and Breece Hall but so far this is my favorite RB that may be available in the 2022 draft – Kenneth Walker 3
I like the bouncy change of direction style of running
And he might need it with this OL
I think BBM’s mentioned him a few times. Those moves make me cringe though, just waiting for a Theisman like break when he’s trying to juke someone.
It’s a little different when you are a RB inc control of your movement than theisman looking downfield while LT crushes him
LOL @ elite blindness
Time to cut the cord on Parker, Wilson, Preston and the rest of these oft injured putzes
Agree. I really like Parker but he has only really hard 1 season that was injury free. It just happened to be a contract year
But if you need 2 starting WRs on top of 2 studs for the OL and a RB….. sure is a lot of spots to fill on the O.
Stanger we need that whether we cut them or not
Part ways with all of these injury riddled guys this off-season and bring in Allen Robinson to go along with Waddle and Gesicki and a rookie RB like Kenneth Walker
And youll have more weapons than you know what to do with
Piggy, I would be happy with any one of those 3 RB’s, Spiller, Hall, and Walker. Many are high on Spiller and Hall due to their combo of size and speed. Both 6’1, Spiller 215 and Hall 220. Spiller has run a 40 in about 4.45 and Hall, I heard, ran a 4.39. Both those times were entering college and probably a little smaller then. Walker does appear to have at the least sub 4.5 speed.
I do like Walker the most.
I really just like RBs that accelerate quickly and change direction
Walker does that well
The other guy to think about Is CJ Verdell, he can move….but injury prone players are not high on my radar these days
These long posts about evaluating players on the team or prospects is useless IMO
What difference does it make at this point, when the current coaching staff can’t use them properly?
it’s like reverse Wizard of Oz and someone took out their brains
Maybe they’re being paid off to throw the games, it would make more sense, than anything else at this point, except maybe they’ve played so over their heads the last year and a half, that it’s catching up to them
Go with the hypothetical of firing these coaches
And then you can consider all the ways we can improve with personnel
Talking Fins at this point is like pissing against the wind
Be sure to wear gortex
We are probably in good position to draft an OT
But I’m not Sure adding youth to this OL is wise
Was thinking about Adam Gase last night and made me think Flores has a chance to stick for next season.
Gase got fired after three years and a 7-9 season, but Ross actually wanted to keep him. Gase was only shown the door only after he copped an attitude with the owner (Who Does That?).
Steve’s right you guys. We shouldn’t be talking about the Dolphins on a Dolphins football blog. Anyone know any good recipes we could swap? I’ve got a mean one for Lutefisk…
We need Cav Kong for that. I think we should give him a spot for game day recipes
My dream Fest is Cav Kong and Chef Warren setting up tables side-by-side and having a tailgate-off.
Dream on. Next season 😃
Or you could tell us how you made 7up yours
DAMN NORWEGIAN!!
Piggy, Spiller and Hall don’t have the moves of Walker. Not even close. IMO, Hall’s speed doesn’t show up on tape. I would rank those 3 at Walker, Spiller and Hall. The more I think about it, if Walker and Spiller are gone by our 2nd round pick, I am waiting until later to pick one.
Another example of running the ball no matter what:
Najee Harris is averaging 3.6 yards a carry on the season.
Steelers first 4 games record 1-3. Harris averaged less than 14 carries a game.
Steelers last 4 games record 4-0. Harris averaged almost 24 carries a game.
Last 3 games (all wins) Harris only averaged 3.25 a carry but they keep feeding the rock.
This is also how the Pats are 1/2 game out of first. Running the ball. One thing these 2 teams have in common, neither run RPO. They use play action but a run play is a run play and their OL are able to fire off the line.
His extra carries are likely a result of having the lead, but yeah the RPO needs to go and fast
https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/splits/_/id/4241457/najee-harris
Shows stats based on situation. He ran nearly equal amounts of time with a lead or playing from behind.
56 carries with a lead, 57 carries from behind
Most carries coming in the first half 84 vs 65 in the second half
Carries by quarter
1 – 41
2 – 43
3 – 35
4 – 30
“Once you see the offense can’t figuring it out, you keep running it. You just keep running it until they figure it out. That’s our mindset. Get pressure on the quarterbacks. It’s already hard enough if you don’t get pressure, they just pick us apart, so getting pressure, blitzing, and obviously, keep focus on turnovers.”
— Eric Rowe on recent D scheming
No amount of wins and turn around can undo this catastrophe of a season. I would love to see them get things going again I just don’t think that I could, and definitely if I was Tua I could, ever trust this administration and coaching staff again.
The other idiots we had have not fucked shit up on this level, their handling of sensitive situations is stupid unacceptable. The crab walking they’ve done since being called out for doing such a shitty job is unacceptable. The playing at all that they’ve attempted very horribly to do was unacceptable.
I said early on if they made a play for Watson I was over it and over this team until they flushed and restarted, and I don’t feel any differently and how horridly the handled it I at drives it home for me.
Just do what I do and pretend Stephen Ross fell off a cliff and right before he did he sold the team to some one competent
Why the heck is Q obsessed with JFK Jr coming back? And he was a Democrat. If he popped up like Jesus wouldn’t his first words be — “why the heck did you call me back to where my Dad was killed?”
——–
“A group of QAnon supporters who gathered in Dallas, Texas, last week in the hopes of watching John F. Kennedy Jr.- who died in 1999 – reappear are refusing to leave the city and considering setting up a permanent base there….
“This is partly because Michael Brian Protzman, a prominent QAnon supporter who helped organize the gatherings, said on Telegram that Dallas was the group’s ‘promised land'”
I think he is just fucking with a lot of people and sitting there laughing his ass off at some of these idiots
All of a sudden these uber-right wing folks think Dem icon JFK and JFK Jr are the 2nd wave after Trump. Guess these people just believe what they are told….. but then they are expecting dead people to come back from the grave. Scary and cult come to mind.

******
The thing that jumps out about Hall is wet he leaps over the line – he looks really athletic. He can really leap. It’s sort of a nuanced skill with limited use but it does speak to his overall athleticism.
I’m sort of torn on Spiller. Hes got a lot of physical attributes to be a workhorse but He has these really long strides when he runs. Did you notice that?
I like that out of receiver , Or even a QBs who runs, I remember (controversial name warning) Colin Kaepernick also had really long strides like that and it was like he was galloping once he was in the open field.
But to me that’s a quality I don’t love in RBs. Terry Kirby is a back that comes to mind who ran really upright with long strides like that and he ended up being a very good reviving back it that’s not really what I’m looking for especially if we continue the same sort of draw plays out of the shotgun we seem committed to.
It’s just my Initial perception of spiller. I haven’t watched him thwt much. I’m just wondering if that noticeable to anyone else.
Yeah, I see that and agree.
Which is weird that we abandon the run so quickly.
Stanger, I don’t think anyone on this board has an answer for you. Although a few of them probably do subscribe to the Q phenomenon based upon their other posted beliefs. Most of the shit that comes from that sector is so bat shit crazy it makes it hard for me to take any of them seriously.
I don’t think anyone on the board is Q. Do think Q stuff mixes in with what comes out out of the alt-right. So folks get some flavorings of it rather than the whole dish.
Cassius Marsh — grow some balls.

“But the one thing that I will say is on my way to the sideline, I got hip-checked by the ref, and it’s pretty clear. If I were to do that to a ref or even touch the ref, we’d get kicked out of the game and possibly suspended and fined. So I just think that that was incredibly inappropriate. And that’s all I’ll say about that.”
The ref had his hand on the flag before initiating contact with the player. It looked premeditated to me. It DOES look like the ref was feeling his tiny little balls stiffen.
To my eyes he was just turning around. I hardly see that as a “hip-check.” Incidental contact at most. Talking an NFL player and a ref in his 50’s.
He was turning but saw the player coming and purposely leaned back toward the player as he turned. Ref is watching the player all the way.
BBM — but how do you know it was on purpose? Ref moved back at most a foot.
Parker has a hamstring issue, that’s tough to heal, it takes time, him playing can only get worse. Will Fuller has a significant injury, broken finger. nothing you can do about that except let it heal, injuries are part of the game, no need to dump a great player for that, the player you replace him with may be worse.
i think tuas finger is a legit injury, he may be the better option even with the finger however you have to protect him. i think protecting him was the deciding factor against the texans
Both have been oft injured throughout their entire careers. If these were just one time injuries I would agree with you
Parker has chronic soft tissue issues. He constantly has hammies, calf and foot problems. He has only ever played one full season, and even that season he had soft tissue problems but was able to ‘play through them” well, it was a contract year after all….
Here is the thing that I cannot get to the bottom of. I ridicule them so much they won’t even attempt to discuss with me anymore (because they can’t do it logically and lose every argument)
If Q posts his stuff anonymously how do they know it is Q posting it?? ??? ????
They see Q like another guy who went by one letter. Even when he says JFK Jr will be risen from the dead.

Guy Fawkes?
Yep — except V did blow up Parliament.
The real Guy Fawkes kind of messed that part up
The world gets more bizarre each day.
Could say strange people out there, but not like Charlie Manson and Jim Jones haven’t had followers in the past. Some people want to join cults. And not even gonna turn that one political.
Catching up… has this football blog suddenly turned into the ‘Inquisition of Q and its members’? Did I miss something?
They think JFK Jr. is returning from the dead. LOL
LOL is right! And LOL at the posters who want to make something out of something so silly!
It’s not like we don’t discuss silly shit here. LOL
What’s the problem with talking about something as bizarre as that? You in no way have to talk about it but seems you have a problem with it being brought up and commented on. We go all over the place on this board.
must have touched a nerve huh?
Not at all. I think “Q” and its ilk are pretty much insane… but I never hear of the insane liberal BS, or the MIDDLE that’s equally insane.
Keep going for the low-hanging fruit… LOL
You never hear insane liberal BS? Really?
And what is so insane about the middle? The middle is basically not too far left or right.
Then Put out some antifa info. I’ll join in with glee. Just not sure why you have a problem with crazy–assed bat shit Q stuff coming up.
WHY didn’t we claim him???
I know, right. You and I both wanted to draft him, if I am not mistaken.
You’re 100% correct, my guy.
Why claim a RB when we can’t create running lanes for him ? We need help at center at this point. 😎
—————–
LOL
Let’s replace a failed USC QB with yet ANOTHER failed USC QB!
That bag of chips Fins should have traded Parker for years ago still is more fulfilling than his career
He’s still under contract. And problem for me is still like how he plays. But problem is next comment is “when he plays.”

—————–
There’s no problem whatsoever in talking about the bizarre. It would be fascinating to see ya post something bizarre about the other side of the aisle maybe once every decade, though, my fellow and so-called conservative.
There’s a TREASURE TROVE to explore! 😉
I’ve attacked AOC, her squad and clueless liberals many times. Exactly what are you looking for?
Cause have never seen you go after a far right post. You holding me to a different standard than yourself?
LOL, attacking “The Squad” is going for the low-hanging fruit… both sides of the aisle pretty much despise them.
Know why you don’t see me going after a far-right post? Because I don’t post it here. For the record, I DESPISE Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Ben Sasse, Lisa Murkowsky, Susan Collins, Pat Toomey, and the 13 GOPers who voted to pass the so-called “Infrastructure Bill”.
I have an outlet by which I CAN b!tch about those things, without bringing it here to the Finsmobunleashed.
I don’t wish to divide us here via politics, plain and simple.
Just wish you would add me to that list of people you don’t attack here. Right now cause of Q thinking JFK Jr would be raised from the dead. Stop, pause, and think about that one.
Why do you care what Stanger posts. Quite frankly sitting around Dealey plaza waiting for a return of the Kennedys is batshit crazy and makes no difference what side of aisle you sit on. You know not everything is about left and right
For the record I’ve called out both sides and other nutty stuff. 🙂
Tua has a fractured finger on his throwing hand that effected his grip on the ball. It’s not about starting Brissett over him just because.
Flo will sit Tua Thursday for Bissett to allow the finger to heal on a short week. The save my job decision is we lost because we didn’t have our QB1 starting.
I think you’re right!
Here’s something I find bizarre. Most of the world uses the calendar date of 2021. Yet the Jewish calendar is 5782. The Chinese calendar is 4718. Humans are crazy fucks. They can’t even agree on time. LOL
I think that’s a really great point! Humans are arrogant as a whole, and it’s always been that way since we began.

Your definition of “attack” is misguided: I don’t “attack you”, I respond to you.
If you don’t like the responses you get, perhaps you should refrain from posting such political content. Either that, or grow thicker skin. You are playing the ‘victim card, Stanger.
You see the world in such black and white right and left terms. I didn’t see Stanger’s post as political. He was just pointing out an absurd belief about an event that just happened
If one would like to talk about the bizarre world we live in, perhaps it would be… refreshing to hear about the bizarre on the left.
Stanger talked about “Q”, which is notoriously aligned (rightfully or wrongfully) with the right. Yes, it was absolutely political, Ken.
Yes it’s akin to cults that are always predicting Armageddon dates or waiting for a comet to come take us away. LOL
But the post really didn’t have a political slant. Not everything does. It seems like you are placing more political meaning to the post than what was written in it
I thought thinking JFK Jr would come back from the grave a bizarre thought. But now get you weren’t attacking me about that at all…. even if left wondering what you really meant. And clearly you never attack me. Not even there. My bad.
Alright, let’s be fair. I’d LOVE to know your thoughts on the Bohemian Grove in California. It’s a middle-ground, so it’s not SO ‘left or right’, but it’s still bizarre!
I’m trying to lead you! Why do you ALWAYS attack the right side of the aisle?
You’ve attacked him and his character repeatedly while pretending to treat him with class. You’re literally the only person on this board I’ve seen Stanger call an asshole and we’ve had Home in the comments. So yes. Stop, pause, and think about it.

You’ve totally lost me, Bro.
You think it political and I think it an internet cult. They are saying Democrats will be raised from the dead. What’s the politics then?
Do you realize what you even said?! YES, it’s POLITICAL!
Then we disagree. Cause certainly not how I meant it. Do you know more about what I think than I do?
Yes but pointing out insanity doesn’t make one a liberal or conservative. The world doesn’t operate in black and white. Not everything is about politics

I see… so now YOU are going to pile on? NOT COOL. Stay out of it.
I’m NOT questioning Stanger’s character (I RESPECT him as a person)… I merely question why he calls himself a republican/conservative, while ALWAYS, and ONLY shitting on republicans and conservatives.
Stanger lost his composure by calling me an asshole, that’s all. Had I called Stanger an asshole, all hell would have broken loose.
I’m composed and I’m a gentleman. If simple questions can’t be answered, then it’s better off to not to invoke such questions.
Don’t know where you’re going with “HOME”, but I believe that was an attack on ORob: MYB
I’m a registered Republican.
I vote 95% Republican.
I give money to Republican candidates.
If I’m not a Republican what am I?
Then WTF do you continue to shit on your own party?
Look, I’m getting tired of this.
I’m here to talk football, yet every day, you post something political that shits on your own party? That really ticks me off, Brother.
I don’t think you have a clue what I really want as far as politics even if you say you do all the time. For starters I am looking forward to the GOP taking over both the House and the Senate in the mid-term elections. What I want. Seems like you think am against that. Yet exactly what I want.
Bohemian Grove is an elite secret society like many others (Skull and Bones, The Illuminati, Free Masons etc.) where powerful people, mostly men, gather to discuss the issues of the world. All of them have a level of bizarre. Lots of mysticism, religion and rituals are at its core.
Precisely, and that’s why I asked Stanger to opine on as much. BOTH/ALL parties are part of this secret society.
I’d never heard of it before. How could I opine?
It’s not a political thing based on parties though. It’s about wealth and power.
Are they liberals or is this more a new world order thing?
^
Nazism is probably the biggest cult we’ve ever seen.
I disagree. Though Nazism was the face of EVIL, there were also other regimes that killed even MORE than Nazism (FUCK ADOLF HITLER)… look at China and Russia in the 20th century: Stalin and Mao.
Communism MUST be faced down.
The difference for me is Communism is a totalitarian state of government where the elites control everything regardless of whether a majority of the people support it or not. With Nazism the majority of German people bought into it in the millions. The only larger cults than that would probably be different religious sects. But with that, I don’t think the majority of people believed in the evil of it. Most thought it was about the righteousness of God. The leaders however were/are evil as fuck.
Nazism under Hitler was only 12 years. Not quite close to the 1,000 year Reich they were shooting for. They were extremely cultish on so many levels though.
Comparing who killed more people is not something I get caught up in. Religions lead in that by a long shot. They’ve been doing it longer.
I stay out of the politics and I’m not trying to get into the middle of this or pile on anywhere, but I’ll just say one thing, lol.
Isn’t that long haired, swollen, ginger dude whose youtube stuff you guys post always talking smack about the left? And the music guy (Tom McDonald I think???)
It’s different mediums (comedy and music), but I’d say that constitutes hearing about the crazy left side of stuff, even if it’s not quite the level of bat shyte crazy like the Q stuff, lol.
Bingo!!!
It’s not Tom
It’s Ron
And this doesn’t feel like a political attack to me
😆
Lol
It was all marketing for a burger joint and quite a successful one. There are so many like it.
You don’t go to McDonald’s for good nutrition, just like you don’t go to bars and drink for nutrition. It’s because you feel like having it.
I’m going to have to look up the Bohemian Grove thing since it’s my neck of the woods.
Stanger, I HIGHLY respect you, man! I think you know that, even if we differ on politics. I’d much rather you and I talk about football than politics.
But when I see a ‘take’ that I disagree with, ESPECIALLY from someone who reps the republican or conservative movement, I’m going to call it out. Sorry, but I must.
There was no need to call me an asshole… that’s what weak people do when they haven’t a good rebuttal… and even you know that, man.
I didn’t call you asshole, today at least. I did hopefully conclusively rebut your long-standing assertion that am not a Republican. We could compare GOP campaign donor receipts sometime.
I didn’t mean to kill the blog.
Asshole…
LOL
MF13,
I’ll talk about what I want to talk about. This is a public forum. For someone who’s supposedly free speech you sure go out of your way to tell people who and what they can discuss. If you’re here to talk football, then no one is stopping you, yet you seem determined to go after Stanger every time he posts something you deem unworthy. Then you have the nerve to tell Stanger to have thicker skin when you’re the one continually getting bent out of shape. You have not been composed nor a gentleman and it’s been in plain English all over this blog. Everyone here sees it except for you apparently.
Stanger rightfully lost his cool with you because you spent the better part of the last year going after his character and accusing him of some real foul nonsense and if you deny it you’re a liar. Like I said, stop, pause and think about the reason why Stanger of all people called you a name, but still spoke friendly about Home. Because that’s what Stanger does. He goes out of his way to put things in a positive light, but he’s human and apparently you got to find his limit.
I don’t even know how you equated Home to Orob.
sb7 — I appreciate it really do. Not a fan of being the center of attention of such though. Sorta gonna be what it will be. But yeah the telling people what they should talk about or not bothers me too. You are a good dude.
M13, being a conservative doesn’t mean support the Republican Party no matter what. I know a lot of conservatives who couldn’t stand Trump so they may have crossed the aisle for president or opted out an voted Libertarian, or not at all. That doesn’t change their conservative ideology. Just can’t support the person. I wish more liberals would do that from time to time than voting their party regardless of who the candidate is. That said I do know some people who did that too because of the far left within the Democratic Party and they can’t get on board with their agenda.
It’s okay for we the people to call all of them out and be individual thinkers.
Bro, this country as we once knew it is GONE. Freedom of speech is GONE.
No it’s not, that’s just perception. I’m also glad that a lot of things in this country as we once knew it is GONE. What do you want to go back to?
I agree there is a lot of hypocrisy and overly sensitive people today. But what freedom of speech is gone that you want back? It’s not illegal to say anything, but it might put a red flag on you if you’re spewing hate and danger to others. Just like the idiot CB from the Raiders who’s been released for posting threats. It’s a civil thing, he was still allowed to post it but that has consequences in a civil society.
People will have you thinking you can’t say Merry Christmas anymore. That’s a bunch of nonsense. People still say it freely all the time. Happy Holidays became a way to allow all faiths to be represented within public arenas. Companies did so as to not to alienate people of different faiths. That’s your belief in the freedom of religion at work.
Shit do I need to change my address

I never told ya what one can and can’t discuss. But as it pertains to personal matters between 2 people, and then other people piling on, c’mon.
Perhaps the next time you get into with somebody else, I’LL pile on you… see how it feels.
You’ve slandered me twice this evening… three strike policy with me. The so-called ‘beef’ (and it’s a mere disagreement) is between Stanger and me… not for others to pile on, such as yourself.
SB7, maybe now you understand why I don’t like derisive posts on this board: it only serves to divide us! If we STOP with the derisive posts, perhaps we regain what once was!
I truly don’t mind going off the usual football posts, but discretion should be used, always. Stanger is good people and I consider him a friend. He and I can settle the matter as gentlemen, without you piling on. Get it?
“mere disagreement”? Do you realize you attack me more than any other 3 posters combined on this board? I can deal with it, but you seem to make light of it when you phrase it that way.
“Attack”? No, mere disagreement is accurate. And you can’t deal with it, being you called me an asshole as a retort to being unable to answer me.

That’s WEAK, Brother. You called me an asshole, PERIOD. I don’t expect an apology, either. You hadn’t anything of substance by which to debate me… so as to call me an asshole.
I let bygones be bygones.
PLEASE, let’s just get back to foosball!!! 😉
I said didn’t call you an asshole today. Pull up when I did. Board is here for all to read.
Stanger, I did NOT say you called me an asshole TODAY. I said you called me an asshole, referring to the other day, most obviously.
Look, I’m done playing these mental games with you. Shouldn’t you be looking up the Bohemian Grove, as suggested? Doesn’t the mere curiosity interest you, or are you more about debating me on what “is” means?
“You hadn’t anything of substance by which to debate me… so as to call me an asshole.” So lets just leave it at that. You said the former law professor had nothing of substance to offer. Do you realize how silly that sounds? But once again you knew what I was thinking better than me.
Stanger, I like you very much. I have a voice, too. Do ya remember my motto?
IT’S ALWAYS ALRIGHT TO DISAGREE!
Don’t take things so personally, so as to call me an asshole. You’ve internalized something you shouldn’t have internalized.
I UNDERSTAND you take politics very seriously… but why do you constantly clown your own party? Surely, you understand where others come from!
I called you an asshole multiple times in one day cause that is what you where. You are the one who keeps bringing it up. I’m over it. But you can deal with it as you will. Much as you encourage me to have a thick skin, the way you do is a bit surprising.
Then we’re good, Stanger. I can take one on the cheek, as can you.

M13, do you think you and Stanger are coming to a sound resolution or just continuing with the same disagreements? I don’t know how you would consider him a good friend the way you talk to him. I don’t talk to any of my friends like that.
The only friend of mine that we can call each other out on anything like this is my friend I grew up with when we met at 4 years old. He’s also a Dolphins fan. We’re truly brothers from another mother. But brothers fight. We grew up in life together so we see when one of us is off the mark and feeding some bullshit. We have the best and roughest conversations that two people can have that care and love each other. Because we’re honest with each other even if we’re not seeing eye to eye on this or that. It’s different with couples in an intimate way because there is more emotion involved with that. Him and I can throw reality in each others faces; laugh about it, agree or disagree, bust each other’s chops over it and continue onto other things.
I said all that because you and Stanger are starting to sound like a couple and you’ve never met. LOL
For whatever reason M13 doesn’t think I live my political life right. Which is strange cause plenty of Democrats on the board he could go after. And that don’t think anyone has done more Republican politics than me. Today it was about laughing about Q.
I understand. Not sure why what you post bothers him so much. If you were a fisherman and M13 was a large mouth bass, no matter what you have in your tackle box and tossed into the lily pads, he would bite while some of us say that’s not my meal today.
I admit that ORob’s Tua lure draws me in at times and I just want to kill it as a pissed off large mouth bass. LOL
Stanger, most of the shots i’ve heard you take are absolutely pro left, the fact the you say you’re republican yet you voted for Biden has left me confused as well.
please take no offense to this post, it’s not meant to impugn you just sort out the confusuion?

I’m a registered Republican.
I vote 95% Republican.
I give money to Republican candidates.
If I’m not a Republican what am I?
================
And yes I don’t like Trump or Trumpists. What are you looking for ORob?
i just find it odd that you claim to be a republican, vote leftwing and most of your negative post are about the right.
nothing wrong with it, just a little odd.
“claim to be a republican”? Just put out the facts on that. Either explain why am not a Republican or call me a liar. How much did you give to GOP candidates in 2020?
How bout them dolphins?
So am I a republican or not? You seemed to doubt even though always vote GOP.
i sure hope tua starts, do you think they will use the finger excuse due to balt being so good and bring him back the next game as we have an easy run of 4 games to give him a better chance to succeed?
So basically you will neither say I’m a Republican or deny I am based on the facts presented.
i just think we need to focus more on the running game.
You do think yourself cute and funny.
MF13,
Again, this is a public forum. What you post here is for all to see. Any private conversations would be between you and Stanger via email, text, phone call, messenger, etc. You consistently going after Stanger on this PUBLIC FORUM and pretending that you aren’t doing anything wrong brings the blog down. This “piling on” as you call it, is several members of the board who are pointing out what you are doing and you are completely ignoring them or you are oblivious to the way you come off around here. MULTIPLE PEOPLE are saying the same thing to you. Take the time to absorb the feedback and change for the better.

Humans are crazy fucks

what species are you?
is this like a self personal attack?
Yep! LOL
I grew up in this crazy society like we all did as a human that gets along most of the time, then we have to deal with people who have no tolerance for others who don’t hurt anyone but feel the need to yell at you or worse.
nice
reminds me of jim carrey in the movie liar, when he was kicking his own ass.
LMAO!!! You’re better off hitting yourself than someone else.

sb7 — I appreciate it really do. Not a fan of being the center of attention of such though. Sorta gonna be what it will be. But yeah the telling people what they should talk about or not bothers me too. You are a good dude.
_____
Well, you aren’t the one making you the center of attention.
But it will be what it will be. Don’t think much can be done as far as changing that.
The basics:
What does a Republican stand for?
What does a Democrat stand for?
When you’re at a social function say at a BBQ; do you care which one offers you a beer or a cheeseburger?
The Neanderthal who likes to intimidate and throw people into the pool is still an asshole.
The nervous one who doesn’t think there are enough veggies and safe areas is still a nitwit.
Most of us get by just fine. 🙂
Reading today’s blog conflict

I guess I missed the fighting
