The 2022 NFL Draft hasn’t happened yet, but I figured let’s take a look at the current state of our division. The Bills were aggressive in free agency as were the Miami Dolphins. The New York Jets were somewhat quiet in free agency but they are primed to add talent in the upcoming draft. As of right now, the Jets hold picks #4 and #10 in RD 1, picks #35 and #38 in RD 2, #69 in RD3, two 4th RD picks #111 and #117 and two in RD 5, #146 and #163. So four picks in the top 40, and then an additional 2 picks each in round 4 and 5. The Patriots have a pretty standard draft selection available with one pick each through the first 5 rounds and then one additional 6th rounder for 7 total picks. The Patriots pick in RD 1 #21, #54 in RD 2, #85 in RD 3, #127 in RD 4, #170 in RD 5, and then 2 picks in RD 6 at #200 and #210. The Bills have 8 selections in the 2022 Draft, two in RD 6, and one in each other round, RD 1 #25, RD 2 #57, RD 3 #89, RD 4 #130, RD 5 #168, in RD 6 2 selections at #185 and #203, and in RD 7 #231. The Dolphins as we all know sent two of our top picks RD1 and RD 2 to KC for the services of one Tyreek Hill, WR.
The Bills struck first in free agency with a big move for their defense, acquiring Von Miller formerly of the SB Champion LA Rams. I was a little surprised that Miller left the Rams, but he did go to the AFC super bowl favorite Buffalo Bills. Miller signed a 6YR/$120M deal. The Bills aren’t the unanimous favorite, but they are among the favorites. The Bills added depth at QB behind Josh Allen trading for Case Keenum and signing Matt Barkley, They added a very good slot receiver in Jamison Crowder, a solid OG in Roger Saffold, a pretty good TE although an underachieving one in O.J. Howard. The Bills also brought back former Bill and former Dolphins DT Jordan Phillips. They added Dolphins fave RB Duke Johnson for depth, as well as former Dolphins C Greg Mancz. The Bills are definitely an elite team as currently constituted, we’ll see if their draft can put them over the top.
The Patriots were not big spenders in free agency this year. Last year, uncharacteristically they were very aggressive but have settled back into just filling depth, and not going for the high ticket players. They brought in RB/WR Ty Montgomery from the Saints and re-signed their own RB James White. They did also re-sign OT Trent Brown. They added QB Brian Hoyer as a backup for Mac Jones. They re-signed S Devin McCourty and added FA CB Malcolm Butler from the Cards. There were a few mor low key signings as well, and due to BB being the HC and GM, the Patriots are still ranked as one of the better AFC teams, usually ranked higher than our own Dolphins.
The Jets fortified their O-line by signing OG Laken Tomlinson (who I really wanted!) early in free agency. They signed TE C.J. Ozumah who showed promise last year for the Bengals. They re-signed WR/KR/PR Braxton Berrios (Another player coveted by FU bloggers). Theyt also brought in another TE, former Vikes TE Tyler Conklin. They re-signed all purpose RB Tevin Coleman and brought back flash in the pan QB Mike White as well as long in the tooth QB Joe Flacco. Their big move was Tomlinson but their fireworks will be in the draft.
So right now, the Bills, who already had one of the best teams in the AFC got stronger on defense by adding one of the best pass rushers in the game in Von Miller. The Bills also have 8 picks in this draft. The Jets are definitely going to add lots of high ranked prospects from the draft having 4 picks in the top 40 picks. The Patriots while not having a reputation of drafting especially well, and this year received ZERO compensatory picks, no doubt due to their free agent spending spree of 2021, still have 7 picks and the rest of free agency including post June 1st cuts to improve their team. Our Dolphins are low on picks with just 5, and 2 of those are in RD 7, with the first not coming until RD 3, pick #102. There’s always the possibility of trading up and trading either a player or future assets. I don’t say no to any of those possibilities. The idea is to use assets to acquire players that can help the team now, and in the future. It doesn’t matter to me if we use future assets, we’re ready to compete now, it just accelerates the schedule. If there’s a player we feel will make us better now and in the future, go get him.
We closed the gap on the Bills, but if I’m going to be completely honest, until I see us play a competitive game against them, they are light years ahead of us. We haven’t really belonged on the same playing field with them the last few years, losing every game, including a 35-0 drubbing and an ugly 26-11 defeat last season. In 202, Ryan Fitzpatrick lost a shootout 31-28 and then we all remember the shellacking we took Week 17 with the playoffs on the line for us, 56-26. In 2019 we lost 31-21 and 37-20. You have to go back to November of 2018 where slid past the Bills 21-17, but lost the 2nd meeting Week 17 to start their dominant run, 42-17. We played well against the Patriots and Jets, but those Bills will hinder our playoff chances if we can’t take on from them. Can’t count on sweeping the Pats and Jets every year either. It will be interesting to see how much the Jets improve as they surround their QB with upgrades from the draft. They will almost certainly be selecting a WR and possibly on OL early. They need a pass rusher too and that could also be an early selection. If we want to compete in an ultra competitive AFC with teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Bengals, Titans, Raiders, Broncos and Chargers, and any other upstarts, we’re going to have once again do well in our own division, so at least 4-2 at a minimum.

GO DOLPHINS!!!

I think y’all are forgetting a major component in the whole Flores/Tua/Fitz/lack of running game saga. His name is Chan Gailey, and Fitz was attached to his hip… his ‘son’ if you will. And that’s not to blame any one person (Gailey, in this case) for our problems.
Only now in hindsight can we see just how much dysfunction existed under Flores’ tenure. I was initially very upset with his firing (two winning seasons in a row!), but now I’m recognizing that he had many shortcomings as a first-time HC… he wasn’t ready and able to form a solid staff, being one of his major shortcomings.
And don’t get me started on the Cocos. LOL
So any Phins news other than Tom Brady crap?
Pearl Thomas (BALLHAWK!!! Hiccup!!!) might be coming to Miami!
Nah, just kidding. At 33 years old and two years removed from the game, I’ll pass on signing him.
If you hadn’t caught it earlier, Thomas has announced he’s attempting a comeback to the NFL.
He’s old and done…not sure how he helps us at this point.
Brady crap? Who cares…lol.
I was thinking about how our defense seemed to score at least or more than our O last year. Then, I reslized Rock was talking about Panthers, not Dolphins….lmao

So any Phins news other than Tom Brady crap?
Well there are a bunch of posts that Devante Parker chose to be traded to NE and that he says Mac Jones has “a nice arm”
Must be a shot at Tua of course according to the idiot mob.

Exactly, Krishna. As much as I luv that cat, even I wouldn’t sign him. We’re looking GRAND with Jevon Holland, man.

Not sure if ‘giving credit’ is the right way to put it, but I do ‘give the guy credit’ for not pressing charges for getting beatdown by Tyson after acting like a punk.
LOL, that picture…
That picture is funny! And he’s lucky he escaped with only that much damage.
Nice!
He’s pretty good, but elite I’d leave to Lamar, Wilson, Allen, guys you just can’t get a hold of, when the game is on the line or 3rd down
LOL
Sounds like our business owner. lol
Can’t wait see Holland’s development this this year, and Phillips….holy shit.
Waddle’s a given.
It’s all fun and games till ya get punched in the face… by Mike F’n Tyson.
Lol…yep.
I saw it earlier MF13! 😉

There’s a tube of lube with MF13’s name on it out there!
LOL, so ya did! 😉
I wish him the best of luck in his comeback, just not with us. I could see the Cowboys signing him soon.
Tua looks great in that video. Then again every throw is 10 yards or less. 😂
Agreed.
I think it’s great that he is out there with like a personal trainer putting in hours doing that.
You could see the sweat on his back.
Having his legs be in shape to do that is bound to help.
I don’t care if it’s behind the line, 10, 20, 30 or 50 yards in air. I don’t care.
If it hits the receiver in hands in stride so the receiver can catch and run….fucking perfect….lol….I know low bar.
Tannehill got his receivers killed or always seemed to throw to the worst possible vantage point of the receiver. He was terrible at that….
Fitz carried the O and no thanks to the OL…lol. He was smart/savvy enough to make the best of a shitty situation…imo.
Re: Tua video. I was trying to think how many times I would trip myself up now trying to do that. I used to be good at that kind of stuff, but we didn’t do those kind of drills either.
LOL
I wonder how many of those signs were made….cows falling off cliffs….lmao
So we’re praising a guy for keeping his head up and eyes downfield in a drill….when there’s nobody rushing at him or trying to hit him? Lol
Leave it to Randy to take a shit on some praise. 🙂
He actually does that well during live games too!
I was thinking something similar….and people say I have no filters….lol
That’s a great trait, when we have such a bad OL
MikeE,
Just keeping it real! Lol

I get it, I’m just teasing the bear. lol
Oh come on!!! Fricking internet thing.
Is Friday Night – let’s party
That band should be called “Shirts vs Skins”
Saw them in the 80s at 6flags Magic Mountain CA, sat in front row, great show
Man, I’m stuck here. 1/3 the way in and I’m going to put down the malazan series. I have already bought up to book 8 (after finishing book number three) but I just don’t care about and am sick of Karsa Orlong.
Friday
Can’t wait to see our offense so all the constant questions about this and that can be answered.
Lol at cnn+ getting pulled 1 month after spending 300m to launch it and the commie Chris Wallace out of a job, after leaving Fox for this
Cuomo exposed CNN for what they are. That family has always been corrupt. Chris brought it to a news network and got caught. I know CNN+ is a different thing, but CNN is a bias network.
YUP!!!
I thought it was Friday music night not stupid shit…let’s give it a rest….lol
Music soothes the soul…at least for me..lol
I said my peace. Not looking to continue with politics.
Little known track by Shock G. Very smooth, jazzy, and the sax is so, so good…
Let the song play out to hear the sax go schmoove…
I love sax.
Me too, Naples. When done properly, it really sets a song off.
https://www.webmd.com/anxiety-panic/news/20220420/when-pot-is-legal-prescriptions-for-pain-depression-anxiety-and-sleep-drop-study?ecd=wnl_spr_042222&ctr=wnl-spr-042222_promotwo_link_1&mb=%40oF1jGwQYu4i1DCe6xDIRwx7neRO6FGu5g3np%40%2FIdOc%3D
I also love trumpet when it is as mellow as a sax.
That’s way back…lol…very nice
Flugelhorn, great tune!
definitely a flugelhorn … like a trumpet on steroids or maybe opiods
This is for Tua. There is great guitar and sax too.
one of my fave songs ever
It’s a classic.
For my dad, who used to play the shit out of this record
mine did too
And what a nice hot album cover for his little sonny to look at!
one more of my favorite sax players
WOW! You guys are posting great, great stuff regarding the sax! Love it!
I’m no fan of country music, but I respect it… being they are musicians too. I really like this one, Wyoming!
By the way, Wyoming. Here’s Shock G sticking up for country music! The first rapper is an intentional clown, setting up Shock G for his response…
Hmmm….I’m no fan of ShockG…lol
Can’t even do music without stupid shit…lol!
To each their own. Shock was trying to dispel a lot of the BS we see today, along with the phony narratives that go along with it: he’s ANTI-racist.
If you were offended by his use of the “F” word, he was talking about child molestation. It’s a real problem in the world today and he was ahead of his time back in ’06.
Here’s one for you Krishna
And to think I was satisfied by just some mellow sax.
TMI
We don’t need to know about your sax-life
😜
That Trumpeteer is pretty cool Mike E
Absolutely! Herb Alpert rocked the brass
With the draft picks we have and the need to focus on mid and late round picks, I wonder if we target over-achievers who are good football players or highly talented guys with some questions? Maybe a mix of both.
If we stay where we are, I expect us to sign quite a few UDFAs. When I look at our roster, we already have guys to go play and compete. Not perfect but lots of potential. Add competition for depth and maybe we find a player or two who can be special.
I do think Punter could still be on our radar. Young guy vs. vet.
Hope ya read me yesterday on the blog, regarding potential UDFAs or surprise picks. Don’t know about drafting a Punter after signing Thomas Morstead, but it wouldn’t surprise me to draft one of these very good Punters this year.
Alright stop, collaborate and listen….
Some icey melty jerk ruined that song for me!
We don’t speak of that. The real song is pure art
LOL, feel the same way about Vanilla Ice. Not a fan then, not a fan now.
Maybe this is more your speed?
MF13 that’s actually bee Americana I’ve been showing not country.
For whatever the hell that’s worth???
This is my thoughts on this team winning a SB
We got this!
We are dream warriors!
From The Wire
Here are some other Miami draft notes from the current roster as well as their 56 years of team existence:
This will be the first time in franchise history that Miami won’t have a selection in the top-100.
At the moment, the full Miami roster is made up of 24 drafted players, 35 free agents, eight waiver-wire adds, and four acquired via trade.
The 2018 draft was the lone draft in team history in which the Dolphins didn’t select an offensive lineman. However, they have spent their first selection in a draft on an offensive lineman 13 times, which is the most for any of their position groups.
The only time Miami used their top selection in a draft on a tight end was back in 1970 when they made Dolphins legend Jim Mandich the No. 29 pick.
In addition to Miami, seven other teams will be without a first-round pick. The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams join the Dolphins with vacated picks in rounds one and two.
The Dolphins don’t have an awarded compensatory pick this season and have only had 22 since the inception of the added selections began in 1994. The Baltimore Ravens have had the most with 55, followed by the Dallas Cowboys with 49, the Green Bay Packers with 47 and the New England Patriots with 46.
Miami’s last compensatory pick was used on LSU defensive lineman Davon Godchaux in the fifth round, No. 178 overall, of the 2017 draft.
To me, if the Dolphins actually become a consistent winner AND win a SB it will be a :
Barry Manilow killed the blog
No shit, huh! lol
Listening to him does mellow you out but this is crazy.
I’ll post some rightwing political shit to stir everyone up and get them posting again. lol
It looks like everyone rocked out last night and partied it up and all are hungover today. LOL
Looks like it.
Nothing new in football news except Jets and someone else possibly making a move for Deebo between now and the draft and also and Omar podcast with talking to some other dude about NOW Flores wanted Jordan Love over Tua. Didn’t listen but that shit is never going to end.
I saw BM and moved on. Why would anyone want to listen or look at him.? Sorry Bookman but he just doesn’t do it for me.
LOL
Can’t imagine how much cocaine he could snort with that snout.
Right there with you.
The 2022 regular-season schedule will officially be announced on May 12 at 8 PM EST.
And then comes the Fest choosing.
The annual airing of the grievances you mean
That’s only one small part of the whole sacred endeavor.

Barry Manilow is from Brooklyn.
His birth name is Barry Pincus.
His father was half Jewish and half Irish Catholic.
Barry used his mother’s last name which is Russian Jewish
and became spelled Manilow in New York.
So Barry is 3 quarters Jewish.
I have lots of Jewish friends,
and I’m part Irish Catholic,
so this is interesting to me.
That’s interesting and did not know that. Though very talented and wrote many great songs, I don’t listen to him intentionally. Maybe because back in the day they played the F out of his songs on the radio and burnt me out on him. His songs would then ring in my head for half the day.
Oh shit, it’s happening now. I’m singing “Oh Mandy” in my head. “Well you came and you gave without taking but I sent you away, oh Mandy” That’s all I remember but it’s playing over and over in my head.
I’m not kidding! Make it stop. lol
I know … that’s a problem.
Because he started by writing ad jingles,
which are supposed to get in your head
and make you remember the product being advertised,
his later work still had that “unforgettable” quality.
Some people find his tunes “catchy” and some find that annoying.
He’s a really talented guy.
You guys are too young to remember when Barry Manilow was all over the TV
singing jingles for ads that he sometimes also wrote the music for.
I was a teenager then, as Manilow is 8 years older than I.
This is how he got started, plus writing music for off Broadway shows.
He wrote (and often sang) ads for
State Farm Insurance (“Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there”), Band-Aid (“I am stuck on Band-Aid, ’cause Band-Aid’s stuck on me!”), for which he adopted a childlike voice and wrote the music (Donald B Wood wrote the lyrics). His singing-only credits include commercials for Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pepsi (“all across the nation, it’s the Pepsi generation”), McDonald’s (“you deserve a break today”), and Dr Pepper.[20]
from Wikipedia
My post above and what you just said is why I think I got burned out on him.
Of course, that was about the same time I got into heavy metal so that could have been it also.
I remember him on the radio all the time and on TV. He wrote so many hits that’s why he was so popular.
BBM yeah a lot of us — millions — got into hard rock in the mid 60s – 70s,
which seriously interrupted his career.
… …
Manilow’s first (*?) producer was Tony Orlando of TO and Dawn fame (later).
They came out of that same school of writing that Carol King did and Neil Sedaka.
Manilow played piano and produced a lot of Bette Midler’s first 2 albums and went on tour with her.
… …
As Carole King said, “When the Beatles came along, it changed everything.”
My pussy just said if you put BM music though my headphones, just remember you have to sleep sometime. Bloody killer cat!
LOL
Neil Sedaka performed at the Naples Phil just last month.
Manilow performed here at least as recently as 2016.
I missed them both, however, as I prefer kick ass rock.
Naples – Good info on Manilow – Thanks!
You listen to music you enjoy. The end! My musical tastes are very broad. I enjoy sound and creative song structures. If it sounds good to me, that’s all that matters. There is plenty of music I don’t like. But I can still respect their art and that they’re out there doing it. I’m always willing to listen and then go from there. Who puts music on they don’t like? LOL
Sometimes a song is so popular nobody wants to hear it anymore. That happened with Zep’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’, to the point where musical instrument stores banned the playing of Stairway when checking out guitars. That and ‘Smoke On the Water’. LOL
Deep Purple did rock that hook, though.
Yeah that’s why it’s a classic. The song is a great rock story too.
Thnx to Stanger for reminding me of the date of release for the schedule.
Wondering how the league is gonna screw us up this year, per usual.
… …
As we think of the 17-game season,
now that Grant’s gone,
Waddle is the lightest man on the team @183. @ 5’10
Tyreek is 5’10 185, so he’s right there,
but he has a stumpier neck, so he appears even more stocky than Waddle.
New guy Keion Crossen is exactly the same ht and wt as Tyreek,
if he makes the team.
Those guys are all muscle. They’re speed guys. Can’t do that carrying much more weight.
But Brandon Jones might actually be the skinniest,
as he is much taller @ 6’1
but only weighs a bit more at 191.
Jevon Holland and Nik Needham are exactly the same as each other @ 6’1 196.
Brandon Jones isn’t skinny. His combine numbers were 5-11 198 and that’s what he looks like. I think whoever does the official site made a mistake. I’ve seen it before.
There is another interesting group who are all identical @ 5’11 197.
Noah Igbenoghene, Lynn Bowden, Salvon Ahmed, and Jason Sanders.
Fedjelem, Trill Williams, and Eric Rowe are all the same @ 6’1 205
Another prototype (apparently) is @ QB.
Our QBs are 215, 216, 217
with Tua the heaviest,
especially as Teddy is the lightest and one inch taller than the other 2
@ 6’2.
I was not aware of how large the punter Morstead is.
6’4 225
Not as big as Fields, but big enough to make a saving tackle if need be.
Smythe and Gesicki are also near twins. Both are 6’6, but Gesicki is a pound heavier @ 247.
I am proud to say I am a “Fanilow” I went to a concert 3 years ago, it was awesome, main reason was he sang all of his hits and didn’t change it over sing them. One of the best concerts I ever attended, that one, Garth Brooks, Tanya Tucker, and Toby Keith.
That’s an awesome series of performers, Book.
You should feel lucky to have caught that line-up.
They were actually separate concerts, but just all really cool for different reasons. TT and Toby Keith on different years were at the county fair near here and we were able to be right by the stage.
Oddly our two heaviest players are both from U of Georgia.
Kindley and John Jenkins are both 335, but Jenkins is an inch shorter @ 6’3.
Speaking over overplayed songs or starts to songs: the start of Sweet Home Alabama
Great riffs and hooks become unpopular in time because after hearing it 10,000 times over a lifetime you want something different. That’s the biggest mistake classic rock stations make, the people listening to your station know the other songs on the albums too. Play them they like it.
yep and Free Bird and Hotel California
“Play Free Bird !!!!” Lol
Finally, I like to imagine how cool it would be to play in the NFL.
I would suit up tomorrow and go until they killed me, if they’d let me,
just for the thrill of being out there in pads.
… …
There is a guy exactly my ht AND wt on our team,
although he probably won’t make the 53.
Lovett the FB is 6’2 234. Exactly my size.
Interesting to me, since I played that position in high school,
but I was 50 pounds lighter then.
(I’m not as buff as he is, of course. I wish I could lose 30 pounds at my age.)
… …
Anyway, a guy can dream …
Naples, did you see my reply to you about Brandon Jones?
yes, I can only go by the Dolphins official site.
… maybe the Miami heat took some weight off him?
accidentally or on purpose
nfl.com and pfr.com both list him the same as dolphins.com 6’1 191.
But his combine says 5’11 198, which is quite a different physique.
I think he actually looks over 200 now. He’s not 6-1 and has a thicker build.
Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl
I actually don’t like that song, or bandstand.
I don’t mind it , I don’t search it out, but I also don’t reach for theNEXT button if it comes on … what ya mean by bandstand?? Was that a Manilow song or ya mean American Bandstand
Yeah, sorry, I meant American Bandstand.
Book

Are those actual lighters?
I remember those days of burnt thumbs, and the oh Fuck should notta put that in my pocket
Lol
Toba, I still get those burnt thumbs from time to time, especially when it’s windy outside. LOL
I hear ya 👍🔥
Naples, the official site used to list Bobby McCain at 5-11 195 when he was probably more 5-9 190 tops.
I think Crossen makes the team based on his STs prowess and as a depth DB. We lost Hollins in FA and it seems Crossen is our new flyer.
Mittens
That’s all ya got with all these outrageous discussions? LOL
Oh my, I missed the engrossing Barry Manilow discussion!
Don’t hate just because you were late! Lol
They should let Wilkins return punts. Can you imagine? LOL
Well we will be ahead by 20! So go for it! 😉
Two players we need to be healthy and ready to play are RB Raheem Mostert and FB Alec Ingold. They are coaches’ favorites who were brought in for a reason. One is a speed playmaker and the other is a lunch pail dirty work guy with blocking. They help the running game go. From what I’ve heard both are on the mend and doing well. 🙂
I’D PRETTY MUCH GIVEN UP ANY HOPE of the Lightning being serious contenders in this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs when, all of a sudden, they DESTROYED the Toronto Maple Leafs 8-1 earlier this week and then followed that slaughter with a 6-2 beat down of a pretty good Nashville Predators team at Amalie Arena tonight. Bolts’ back-up goalie Brian Elliott looked sharp. And Tampa Bays’ star players (Kucherov, Stamkos,Point,Hedman, etc.) played like hungry wolves on the prowl. Tampa Bays’ next game is at the Florida Panthers down in Sunrise where they’ve been almost unbeatable this season. A convincing win by the Lightning will certainly turn a few heads. But, right now, I’d have to say that the Panthers and the Colorado Avalanche have earned the right to be considered the top two favorites to win the upcoming Playoffs.
MANITOBA, do you have any thoughts on who is going to win the Cup this year?—————-
Just realized I could access You Tube on my TV thru my cable network. Have been watching Jesus of Nazareth all night, it has been awesome.
We just watched The Adam Project. It was pretty cool.
DID ANYONE HERE even comment on Cabrera getting his historic 3000th hit?
WAY BACK IN 2003, the Marlins got off to a shitty start and, by June they were 10 games below .500. –They fired their manager and offered the job to 72 year old Marlins scout Jack McKeon, who, at the time, was visiting a Marlins’ minor league affiliate. He said “I’ll take the job on one condition.” When he was asked “What’s the condition?” he replied “On the condition that I can bring this 17 year old Marlins minor league player with me to the major leagues.” The kids’ name was Miguel Cabrera. The condition was approved and, next day, both McKeon and Cabrera were with the Marlins as they began their March into baseball history.
Jack Mckeon would become the ONLY MANAGER IN BASEBALL HISTORY to take over a team 10 games below .500 and WIN THE WORLD SERIES in the same season!! And Miguel Cabrera became a key cog in the Marlins’ lineup as he tore into National League pitchers with power and grace.
At a key point in the 2003 World Series, Cabrera faced Yankees star pitcher Roger Clemens with two men on base. Clemens nearly hit Cabrera flush on the head with a high inside fast ball on the first pitch. Unflustered, the kid brushed off his shirt and promptly deposited Clemens’ next fast ball about 450 feet deep into the right center field seats at Joe Robbie Stadium. His team mates exploded while Clemens could only stare as Cabrera smiled back at the Yankees’ ace while he circled the bases. A Hall of Famer had risen to the occasion. And it was NOT Roger Clemens!!
Meanwhile, Jack McKeon’s team would upset the heavily favored Yankees in 6 games in the 2003 World Series. And they would clinch the Series at YANKEE STADIUM right in front of George Steinbrenner and a packed house of incredulous Yankee fans who could NOT believe what they had just witnessed.
What they had witnessed was the beginning of a HALL OF FAME CAREER for Miguel Cabrera!
Nice!
Who was the Pirates fan on here??? I see the Cubs put up 3 TD’s on them yesterday in a 21-0 shutout. Daaaaaamm!
At least they are not in the cellar like my Reds.
Stanger
TK, congratulations!
“NJ’s recreational marijuana marketplace opens”. 18 states and 38 to go!!!
NJ is a relatively small state, and not one of those recreational dispensaries is near me. 12 opened up, but nothing within a 1/2 hour.
Patience….lol
I thought you were on LI…my bad
The thing about NJ, it’s right in middle of the NE….plus DC just legalized.
I say domino effect…
Krishna – No doubt one will open closer to me eventually. I’m not worried, I don’t smoke. I will occasionally partake, and maybe if one opened up closer I’d partake more often. I like my bourbon or beer or wine, but every now and again it would be nice to light up.
We have several dispensaries out here and my wife just started me on some edibles this week to increase my appetite. Let’s just say in about 30 minutes “ I have a peaceful easy feeling” 🎼🎸🐕😎
