This is different. Going into this 2022 NFL season and heading into training camp which finally has the players in pads, has a much different feel than in previous years. If we’re being honest with ourselves, the expectations are higher, as they should be. Chris Grier has upgraded the roster, especially on the offensive side, which was desperately needed. The offense was the weaker unit, and besides upgrading the offense, Grier managed to keep a pretty good defense intact. We also added a couple of pieces both in the draft and also in free agency this season that may pay dividends. Our first draft pick, in RD 3 was athletic ILB Channing Tindall. We already have veteran ILB Elandon Roberts who’s made plays for this defense and provides excellent run support. Where Tindall can be a difference maker is on passing downs in coverage and also as a blitzer. He can also be a sideline to sideline tackler, much like the guy right next to him at ILB, #55 Jerome Baker. We also added a nice veteran piece in OLB/DE Melvin Ingram. Ingram at 33 is well past his prime, and hasn’t played a full season since 2018, but he will be used sparingly which will make him more effective when he’s in there.
One of the biggest challenges this team faces is having a new Head Coach, Mike McDaniel implementing an entirely new system on offense, and getting it up to speed quickly. One thing McDaniel did well was bring in a lot of experience on his coaching staff. OC Frank Smith was the San Diego Chargers Running Game Coordinator. Darrell Bevell who is our QB Coach/Passing game Coordinator has been an NFL Offensive Coordinator since 2006 and has been interim Head Coach twice, once with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and once with the Detroit Lions. We have complete continuity on defense with Josh Boyer returning as Defensive Coordinator. We also have RB’s coach Eric Studesville returning now promoted to Associate HC and the much maligned OL Coach Lemuel JeanPierre. He will have a lot of help though with new OL Coach Matt Applebaum from Boston College. Wes Welker will be the WR Coach and in my opinion, it’s great to have a former player who really knows how to play the position, didn’t rely on talent alone, his dedication to running precise routes and understanding defenses was his biggest strength. There is no big ego here for McDaniel, he made assurances that he has capable people on his staff to get this team going in the right direction quickly.
So the summer heat is here, and in just a few weeks, the pads will come on, and at that point, we will have a glimpse of what this team looks like. July 30th begins training camp and then a couple of weeks later, August 13th is our first Preseason game, Saturday Night against the Buccaneers. Continuing the Pirate theme, we face off against the Las Vegas Raiders August 20th, and then the Preseason finale will be against the Philadelphia Eagles. Up until now, it’s been dreaming about what this offense might look like with all the firepower added, namely Tyreek Hill. Of course, Terron Armstead was just as important, maybe more important and Connor Williams as well. Still, it’s hard not to envision Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the field at the same time with TE Mike Gesicki and slot receiver Cedrick Wilson. On the other hand, McDaniel was the run game coordinator in SF and he loves to run the ball. We have a varied stable of running backs, a lot of speed and receiving ability. Raheem Mostert, Chase Edmonds, and then we brought in Sony Michel who is a guy that can carry the rock and take a little more wear and tear. We also have Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed who have done some nice things here, as well as potential power guys, ZaQuandre White (UDFA ’22) and Gerrid Doaks (D 7th RD ’21). I’d put our receiving corps against any teams. If Tua gets the protection he needs, it’s going to be fun. As training camp gets here, we just have to hope everyone stays healthy. Practice hard, learn the new offense, and STAY HEALTHY!!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!

I am having major problems accessing this site from my phone
That’s odd. I have an Android (Samsung), and I very rarely have trouble. What browser do you use? Google Chrome?
Like Mike E., I have a Droid and never have problems getting in….just posting music, but that might be user error.
I don’t think I could post music videos from my phone either
Nice write Mike E
Thanks Ken – taking some vacay this week, didn’t want to leave that musty old article up. lol
Seems to be working now maybe the change of article has helped
I was having issues with the site on my iPad. Hopefully they have resolved.
I have trouble with every site with the iPad we have at work. I find it difficult to use. Probably because I’m not as familiar with it.
Thanks again, Mike E. Nice prelude to the start of the season.
My pleasure Krishna, thanks!
Thanks Mike! Have a good time on your “vacay”!!
Thanks Mike!
I was on my IPhone using Safari. Never gave me problems before
4 and 5 years ago I went to the NBA Summer League games at UNLV, it was great watching all the Lakers new draftees, Alonso Ball, Brandon Ingram were the 2 headliners in consecutive years
Being close to LA they traveled well, place was packed, but to get good Gen admission seats, you had to get there early and watch all the unwatchable earlier games
Fast forward to today tickets are now $40. This place is the price gauger of the world, they take advantage of tourists at every stop.
Anyways, the point is I have a similar sense of excitement to see this year’s Fins training camp.
I have tickets for Aug 2nd and Aug 3rd for Fins Traing Camp
Some crazy stuff with the site lately. I can read it now which is more than I could say yesterday, but still some things that are different. I was sure it was a problem with my phone, changed a bunch of settings and have no idea what they are! 😂
Sounds like my life. Tech stuff drives me mad.
Griner told the court Thursday she had not intended to commit a crime, state news agency RIA Novosti reported. Griner had not meant to carry drugs in her luggage, she said through an interpreter, and it was the result of her packing in a hurry, the report said.
Stupidest excuse, since the dog ate my homework
I could see her saying, she didn’t know it was illegal, but she didn’t mean to put it in there?
How exactly do you not mean to pack something like that?
Did it stick like a dryer free sheet to a tee shirt?
I didn’t mean to pack these shoes, meant to pack those or I didn’t mean to pack this toothbrush, meant to pack the small one
So what was it that she thought she was packing in its place?
Not a very thought out excuse
I’ve taken many banned things into the airport that I forgot were in my luggage, they could’ve easily done so and not farfetched. Luckily they just tossed them in the trash and let me go knowing it was an honest mistake. This whole case seems personal for you. Why so much vitriol? lol
Give an example of something you put in that was an honest mistake?
I could see something like a Leatherman or mustache scissors, but you don’t put in a controlled substance by mistake
It’s not personal, just hate these entitled athletes, that think they have a platform to preach to the rest of us, as if their opinion means something, so when they get caught I think karma finally catches up to them
Why does Stanger post every quote MTG has made, and never one about AOC?
steve — why the heck are you bringing me in on this topic? Am I your WhatAboutThat? And for the record (again) have ranked on idiot AOC many a time.
Sorry to bring you in Stanger, really had nothing to do with you, was just trying to show his hate of an opinion from the right
Herald’s Daniel Oyefusi on ranking the Phins secondary the best in the AFC East. Bills, Jets, Pats after that. He also ranked our DL the best and our LBs 2nd. Put that together and seems we have the best D in the division.
——————
1. Miami Dolphins
▪ Projected depth chart: Cornerbacks: Xavien Howard, Byron Jones, Nik Needham | Safeties: Jevon Holland, Brandon Jones, Eric Rowe
▪ Skinny: The Dolphins’ secondary is the lifeblood of the defense. Howard and Jones play man-to-man defense at an elite level, allowing for intricate blitzes up front. Holland is a budding star who can play in multiple spots on the field. Jones is a great blitzer for his position but is looking to round out all parts of his game, which would make the Dolphins’ secondary even more airtight.

Goodell says “I clearly believe we will be moving to a streaming service” for NFL ticket. The two prime choices for that would be Apple and Amazon, who are both wanting into the NFL bad. DirecTV’s contract for NFL Ticket is over at the end of this season.
Had the Ticket with them for like 3 years, was really, really cool. But you had to have DirecTV. My complex switched to comcast and it was all over.
If the goal is to get more people to buy it, with home team plans I think it would be great, but I’m not paying $500 for all games, some I really don’t care about
Besides, who has the time to watch all of these games?
“When I get pissed, I do tend to overstate. I regret that. But, I don’t lie.”

Start off Friday music with some young Fergie, before The Black Eyed Peas when she was with the group Wild Orchid. I don’t care what anyone says, she’s yummy!
How could anyone not call her hot?
She came up in a convo a long time ago when her being a part owner came up. Someone referred to her as a nasty whore. Can’t remember who. It was a long time ago.
Good write, Mike. I’m excited for the season.
Been trying to play some Doors…L.A. Woman? If someone can help…

Source? I don’t buy that quote at face value without proof.
Plus, not sure how “overstate” was used in the context of such a small quote, so as to equate it to Saul Alinsky and the radical left’s communist ideology. I mean, you’re quite literally accusing Tucker of doing what the communists always do, straight out of Alinsky’s playbook.
Why would ya do that, Stanger? That doesn’t make sense to me… not one bit. And that certainly doesn’t fit Tucker’s character. Are you saying Tucker is a closet communist?
Jesus fucking christ! Stop it!
Ya need to chill, home slice. It was a mere reply to something that didn’t seem to be correct. Don’t blame me, blame the one who brought it to the blog for feedback and comment.
I’m trying to help ya below!!! 🙂
Here’s the source article. Dissect away.

Well apparently it was a one and done…lol
I’ll try to help ya, Krishna. If you’re finding music on YouTube, go to the song you want to share. After that, copy the address link (example: youtube.com/*************). After you copy the address link, post the link here.
I hope that helps ya, man! Oh, and due to recent problems with the blog, post something like the artist name or song first (as you did at 7:55 PM), then post the link below it.
That’s what I did first time and thought did second time….second time y tube wanted me to psy…thanks

Just tried two more times

Krishna, don’t know why, but it didn’t take the first time I tried to post it. It took me two attempts.
One the songs Mrs K picked out for her Memorial service…
I’m very happy I could help ya to post this song!
Why isn’t Stanger allowed to post what he wants to like everyone else without being called out?
M13, your response about communism was pretty weird.
Stanger is allowed to post whatever he wants, and I haven’t any problem with that whatsoever. Just expect blowback from others when talking about politics, religion, and Tua! 😉
I’m not dissing Stanger, as I have much respect for him. I know that doesn’t convey to certain others, but we are both big boys who truly enjoy talking politics when it comes up. I try to stay away from it, but these are the doldrums. I hope we all can respect one another during the doldrums, as these are the times that try bloggers’ souls. 😉
What did your reply have to do with what Tucker Carlson said? Tucker’s a big boy too and he’s quite involved in the political sandbox wouldn’t you say? LOL
I simply wanted the source of said quote, being I’m not sure Tucker ever said it. Accusing the other side of what you yourself are doing is part of Alinsky’s playbook.
I wasn’t calling Stanger a commie (he’s not!), I was inferring that the source had probably made it up out of thin air, that’s all. Nothing less, nothing more.
Well he posted it as a quote from from Tucker and what if he did say that? The last part from Stanger was a George Costanza reference from Seinfeld, at least I think it was.
Like I said: SOURCE?
That’s nothing against Stanger whatsoever, and very clearly. And even if the source checks out, was it taken out of context?
It’s all good and nothing personal at all.
I will never understand how one can live their life or be happy “seeing” the world through a political lens….ever

Thanks. You are one of my favorites here, on a blog that has really went down hill, imo. Take care Toba.
Off season does have its pitfalls … hopefully once it’s football again you can join us more frequently.. you take care as well
Krishna, I think removing God from everything (schools, etc.) is a big reason the morals in this country have gone to shit fast. This country was on a moral decline but, present day, it’s fallen off a cliff. Look what they are trying to push and teach very young children now. It’s the devil’s work.
Let’s remove God/prayer from school and such but teach 7-8 year old (even younger) children about sex and identity. SMH
It’s just a bunch of sick perverts wanting to provoke child curiosity.
I know you were talking about the pledge, but this is what you get.
Amen!!!!!!! Great post.
Well I had a response about this and somehow lost it….probably best…I know it ended or was about to end with KISS….lol
Great to see you Bookman!

….
……..
…………..
Picked the right week to be without internet it seems
lol….yep
I will try again as some of you seem to think god is tied to sexuality….lol
You do not need to teach god, especially fear of god through sin, in order to guide young minds to love, be respectful, and to find their goodness or true expression of self. God has nothing to do with that approach except perhaps the application of the Golden Rule…..period. I assume EVERYONE knows what that means. If you don’t, then I question your “faith”….lol.
Also, I find it somewhat appalling that the recent woke or social engineering, that appears to be the latest thing, is blanketing our children.
It is a physiological, neurological, emotional, and psychological fact that a 5 year old is ill equipped to determine their sexuality and at least especially before puberty. The hard-wiring of a human being is around 20. Before that it’s all in a developmental stage. Some never fully develop and some develop early on.
The propagation and survival of the human species is old school and basic….lol. Mutation or expression of that mutation is not a long-term solution to the evolution of human-kind. This is a fact….unless you want to harvest eggs and sperm and grow them in a test tubes, which is not natural nor part of the “universal design”.
Expression of 5 yo boy who paints his toe nails or wears dresses does not make him a homosexual or alphabet character nor does a 5 yo girl who likes to play sports and dress like her big brother predetermine her sexuality. I have seen/read/heard of both and in most cases these are stages of development and learning to be guided through proper parenting. Just to be clear, it is not a failure of parents if your kid ends up being homosexual or decides to express themselves in alternative ways, but it is not determined at 5.
Sexuality is a lot more complicated than god, in my opinion. There are so many factors in the construct of a healthy adult. Whereas the expression of god is one of “faith”, you choose to believe in it or not. You don’t just choose what you want to “be” today and decide to get a penis or chop it off, especially at 5….lol.
Let’s try not to confuse the two in these discussions or draw correlations where none exist, at least, in my opinion.
KISS….
Totally re-written, but essentially the same points.

M13 Tucker did say what Stanger quoted, start about the 124 minute mark
https://mobile.twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1lPKqmmjgLbKb
For him to say Tucker Carlson who buys into the “if you believe it, it’s not a lie” theory, is putting words in his mouth and total BS
I’d bet Stanger didn’t watch the interview, maybe he also missed the part where Tucker said, Fox is the only network, that let’s you say what you want
I read an article on the interview and pulled out that quote that at least got the author’s attention. As a guy who went to law school, I believe that “if you believe it, it’s not a lie.” Sorry if didn’t hold Tucker to a higher standard as took “When I get pissed, I do tend to overstate. I regret that” to be an admission he is not always dead center factual.
And why the hell when I put a quote in quotes and attribute it to a person is if they said it even an issue? And I am one of the few on the board who puts out actual quotes. Shoot away at my interpretation, but that is questioning either my integrity or my intelligence.
Tucker Carlson is slightly to the right of Attila the Hun
Your opinion, but when has he ever lied. If ends up finding himself to be wrong or misinformed when more facts come to light, he is first to call himself out and apologize to the public. Something you won’t see from any other network. He was also not the biggest fan of Trump but supported his policies.
Hannity is another story.
ok
This is disturbing. I stopped using weed killer a long time ago. I use a mixture of vinegar, Epsom Salt and dish soap. Works but have to spray about every 2 months.

For 20+ years, I have never used pesticides in my yard. It’s beautiful if I do say so myself…lol.
The first run the narrator says it’s undisciplined not to run where this play was designed to go
I suppose he should just run right into the unblocked defender
He showed great vision cutting it outside early in the run, the play was broken once the DB came unblocked, time to just make a play
We saw Tannehill for years just go with the play, because they didn’t give him the freedom to audible
To say he’s not going to be able to break it outside in the NFL, is speculation at best, but the videos are of college.
Is he supposed play as if he’s just putting out tape for NFL scouts?
Some of these guys are a little too cute with their evaluations
The first 5 plays he was crítical of his decision making and yet in everyone of them he ended up with a first down or more because of his raw vision and instinct…lmfao. i was getting annoyed…then he showed his “good” attributes….oh my

Thank you, Steve. And yes, I believe it was taken out of context. And as BB Mike stated (and I’ve seen it happen, the few times it has happened), Tucker is the first person to apologize if/when he makes a mistake.
By the way, I think Hannity is a clown.
Yep
Definitely!
Lol…when he’s caught…
The same could be said for most of the MSM, though: when they get caught. And sometimes when others (see Brian Williams) get caught, there is no apology issued and they aren’t even disciplined for lying.
Williams finally got caught for like the 1,950,215th time before he got a demotion from Nightly News.
Article I read put it into the context of “‘Carlson contended that viewers might notice him ‘making mistakes,’ but never ‘lying on purpose.’” What do you think the proper context is?
This could open connotation vs denotation… I’m not interested in getting into that debate for hours.
You are the one who said “I believe it was taken out of context.” But I’m cool with letting it go.
PF…
Lol…I keep trying
I have no idea…wtf…lol

—————–
I know this was a reply to Steve, so I can only speak for myself: I think your integrity and intelligence are both extremely admirable. Your interpretation may be lacking but you always seem to take cheap shots at conservatism, very seldom at the other side.
That’s your right and I respect that, but it’s quite the curveball when you yourself are a Republican. It’s all good, but when ya pitch (post) to a batter (other posters), nobody is just going to stand in the batter’s box and take 3 strikes without trying to hit the ball. That’s the whole purpose of dialogue on a blog. Somebody says something, and somebody is going to engage… not necessarily agreeing with the idea that was pitched to begin with.
Cheers, Stanger!
But implying that a quote I put out was not actually said seems a bit petty as far as disagreement, doesn’t it? It is saying that it might not have been. I’ve put out many a quote on the board…. name one that wasn’t accurate and said by the person. Out of context is a different subject.
Geez M13 — I used to write legal briefs.
Out of context is what I was going with, bud… certainly not anything else.
And guess up above we decided not to go into what the proper context would be….. cool enough.

Krishna,
Looks like ya tried to post from Spotify above. Not sure that will take to a blog. YouTube seems to be the tried and true method. Hope that helps ya.
Unless someone has a Spotify account, the music cannot be listened to, even when clicking on the link.
Stanger,
Getting back to foosball, if you were to sign just ONE MORE guy to upgrade our roster (we’ve got more than enough cap space to do so), what position would it be?
For me?
MLB: Reuben Foster. Maybe we don’t like how his workout went for all I know. But he’d be cheap, young, and a definite (IMO) upgrade to our backup MLB corps.
— or —
O-Line. I’m not picky, but surely we can do even better (that includes backups) than what we currently have… especially with FA JC Tretter still out there. Maybe Connor Williams takes the Center position and becomes a Pro-Bowler for us. If that’s the vision then maybe we could sign a better Guard to compete, even as a backup.
I’ll add two more NAMES, both former man-crushes of mine…
-Tak McKinley (can’t have enough pass-rushers and he’d come relatively cheap)
-Joe Schobert (SOLID MLB)
I’d go with Tretter, but mainly cause the OL is the position group most in need.
The Stealers* had Joe Schobert for 1 year (last year) before releasing him and signing Myles Jack.
Both Schobert and Jack were MLB/ILB man-crushes of mine and drafted in ’16… Schobert in round 4, Jack in round 2. Here’s how their careers compare…
https://stathead.com/tiny/Rs0Mh
Jack’s contract with the Stealers*: 2 years/$16M

I’m so hoping for that.
Not gonna sound like a big thing, but is to me. Just drove a car for the first time since T-Day.
Nice! Congrats on your progress!

Happy to hear that, Stanger!!!
excellent write up Mike E.
He’s Keith Hernandez! Congrats Keith on the Mets retiring your #17. Best defensive 1st baseman ever, and a very good clutch hitter.
#17
I saw that during the ceremony. Cool stuff!
Texas man who threatened the life of all republican politicians in Texas over the voting laws was released on his own recognizance.
To Sen. Cruz over the phone:
“Every last one of your Republican colleagues to have signed off on that platform is to be found, and is to be found and killed, be it by a bullet to the face or by the smashing of a brick in your skull,”
Of course, he failed to appear in court on Friday and now he is a fugitive at large.
People are fucking nuts these days.
He’ll get away with it, too. Just watch. But if it was the other way around (a rep threatening a dem), it would be front-page news all across America, discussing how we need to repeal #2A by merely talking about a bullet to the face. SMH
America is getting very tired of this two-tiered, biased justice system.
The media doesn’t control the justice system. People just think they do. It’s already news to people who use online news. Nothing gets buried anymore. If it was you wouldn’t know about it. You can’t threaten people with murder, especially government officials. That dude is now on a watch list at the least.
Though it wasn’t even brought up here yesterday, I’m still upset over the assassination of former PM Shinzo Abe of Japan… only for the American (and global) MSM to essentially call him a right-wing nut in memoriam.
We ALL can see what’s going on here in America, and it’s NOT cool.

But then why the FUCK isn’t the entire Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Clinton, and Obama crime families in jail?!! 😡
Perhaps ya heard that Brett Kavanaugh and his family had to be escorted out of an eatery the other night, threatened by violence. NOT COOL! 😡
None of that kind of crap is cool.
Again, had it been the other way around, every newspaper in America would be talking about how we need to defend/secure SCOTUS judges.
He was booed by protesters. He was not threatened with violence
Why aren’t a lot of people in jail?
BINGO, as you would say! And one needn’t be an expert to connect the dots on these political matters.
We have the highest incarceration rate in the developed world.
M13, we all know where the biases are. Is that really the defining moment? Who cares about what say a Don Lemon would say or not say, I think he is one of the most hypocritical douche bags on a news network. As long as the intel is out there I don’t care about what the major networks are reporting. They’re a dying breed.
Agreed that they (major news networks via TV) are a dying breed, but now there is rampant internet censorship… and it only goes ONE WAY! Anti-conservatism.
I know what you mean, the MSM is definitely tilted left but the fact that you’re aware of that is because the freedom of the press still exists. Any individual who cares about the state of our country has plenty of intel to learn what’s going on. I think the blame game is becoming really weak on both sides.

You see bogeymen around every corner. I can’t go through life as scared as you
Precedence is what comes to mind, and it’s a very slippery slope that leads to communism. See the so-called January 6th “insurrectionists”… all of those VERY SCARY people who were let in by Capital Police and took selfies. NOBODY brought a gun for the so-called “insurrection”.
Sorry, but it seems to me, respectfully, that YOU are the one who is scared.
Trust me I am not afraid of our government. Your take on the Jan 6 is rather skewed. One does not need a gun to commit insurrection. I don’t think the Capital Police support your description of the events
You do know much of this country’s history is based on corruption and bigotry right?
I believe in the melting pot but it’s not an easy recipe.
Many of us weren’t hauled off to fight military wars, but most of us today are fighting a cultural war. That’s where we are. I still say it’s the battle of the extremes which is the minority. Most people I know can live together just fine. The extremes make for better headlines and stories.
There are certainly dark portions of our history and much that needs to be corrected in our society. That said I am not crying wolf or the sky is falling. I happen to like this country and happen to think it is better here than most places
I agree. There is no utopia.
I remember when Pat Buchanan ran for president. He wanted to bring the country back to the 50’s where Biff and Muffy went to the soda shop together, wore each other’s sweaters or rings or whatever, and lived like everything was a joy. Mainly white people with traditional values and static views of life on earth.
That’s never coming back because it was so archaic. Now we have I can define myself as anything I want to be vs. how everyone had to be 70 years ago.
We’re now debating biology vs. insensitivity. Love who you love but you were born male or female. Sorry that didn’t work out for you the way you wished it did. The absurdity has to stop.

He was booed by protesters. He was not threatened with violence
————–
If he was “booed” by protesters, what was he saying in a restaurant to get protested?
He is a public figure. Wherever he goes there can be can be protesters.
I think you are confusing protesters for public HARASSMENT.
Public Harrasment is a form protesting. To my knowledge nothing illegal happened. Remember Kavanaugh believes we don’t have a right to privacy
WOW!
I’ll just leave it at that. I still respect ya, Hulkster! It’s alright to disagree… ALWAYS, my guy! 🙂
Hire Phelon as your security team and pay them enough to get charged with deadly force!
Well if you can’t do it through the courts?
Just do an end around!
Well we can’t take your guns away, yet. So, for now, we will nip away at your ability to buy. SMH
Guns and ammo are a good investment right now. Another 2 years of this, and they will be worth 3 times what they are now.
Ken, you’re like an MSM host, M13 says we have a two tiered justice system and you’re response is we have the highest incarceration rate in the developed world
I was responding to Tom
Tim was referring to those on the left who do illegal political things also, so either way Ken Lemon😝
???? I think you are confused.
Yes, you’re confused

If anyone cares about election fraud
Trump already did better in the city of Philedephia in 2020 than 2016, but these guys claim they found 225,000 votes on top of that? Guess those mules are real good.
Guess you don’t understand the claim in the video, it was illegal votes for Biden, had nothing to do with Trump votes
Sorry if didn’t say that clearly enough. Trump did better in Philly than in 2016, but the Mules guys are claiming his margin should have been 225,000 more on top of that. It is a huge swing.
At at the end of the day he says the conclusions of 2000 Mules are unjustified but offer some questions to investigate. And that from Ben Shapiro — fair enough.
They aren’t unjustified, just not enough proof for someone not wanting to stick his neck out on the line
Shapiro isn’t an expert in this tracking field, but the tracking hasn’t been reported as fake, so there is something to it, and it works for the police, they use it to track criminals
The left media hasn’t debunked the claims, nor have them come up with a goodexcuse what these people (mules) were doing
It’s more likely it’s true though, but more evidence to be released soon
Ripple-Grateful Dead…
lol…failure
https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/miami-dolphins-defensive-lineman-zach-sieler-and-what-makes-him-so-effective
Hard to argue with this. And I’ll throw in the unscientific that he catches my eye a lot. He’s a keeper.
—————————————–
“His 84.9 overall PFF grade was the third-best in the NFL behind only the Rams’ Aaron Donald and the Steelers’ Cameron Heyward. Obviously, Sieler isn’t the third-best defensive tackle in the NFL, but he deserves more recognition for being in the same ballpark as players like Donald and Heyward.”
Sieler also plays 3-4 DE in some of our schemes.
TH still talking…setting a high bar.
“That 2019 offense with the Chiefs was stupid. When I go out to practice each and every day, like I said, I see the same exact team. I swear. As far explosive, as far as dynamic, we have the same weapons. Maybe even more. Like our running back runs a 4.2, and that’s crazy. It’s a whole track meet back there. And, when you add Mike McDaniel into calling plays, I know Andy Reid is great, but when you add McDaniel it’s crazy. The way he dials up plays and his play-calling timing, I don’t even know what to say, it’s just crazy.”
I like Seiler, too. Even though he doesn’t play as much, when he does he shows up…
….taking a Ravens castoff because they’re loaded, is not a bad thing….respect to the Ravens.
He plays about 50% of the defensive snaps.
He fills out the rotation nicely, imo.
Absolutely!
Leaving for Costa Rica on 18th…time for the beach and rainforest and cooler weather…lol…at the equator!
ATX is fucking hot! Lol!
Enjoy. Are you setting up to buy a place there? FOund a spot to watch the Phins?
My phone says it’s 107…it’s been in the 100s all week….that’s ATX in the summer…lol
Thank sir…and yes…early stage research…getting my feet wet.
They have internet…I will do what it takes to view…lol.
Looking for second home….eyes are bigger than budget, as usual…..lol…some georgeous homes and acreage for less than $1M….just can’t get that high and don’t need to
To stangerx
Gotta think that nice places for less than one mil there. Also gotta think that in the ex-pat communities you can find a bar with a bunch of screens showing football.
Lol…part of the research and plans…
All who wander are not lost….lol
And, for sure less than $1M….and they’re fucking gorgeous…..
….all at least 3Br, 3ba….you would not believe….can’t wait to see with own eyes!
“It’s not just you. It’s Raheem Mostert. I mean, I’m the fastest on the team, so it’s like, whoever on the team, this is how it is.”
— Waddle throwing down the gauntlet at Tyreek’s feet.
Tyreek has really been the voice of the team talking up Tua and his coach and the rest of the team. He’s brought a lot of positivity to the team as he should as vet leader and a top level player.
I like it….kinda chilled bragadocious…
Like I said, setting a high bar, but not saying how that bar should be….make it what you want
Nothing wrong with confidence and believing in what they’re putting together on offense. Tyreek has brought that to the team. We have not yet seen this offense but it will be totally different than last year and years prior which had to happen. We should see more explosive plays.
TK…It’s another SHOW ME moment!
It always is. All we can do in the offseason is project based on the talent we have. We’re more talented this year and not being bias as a Phins fan. We are, we have more explosive playmaking ability with multiple players that we did not have last year.
Mostert said he’s almost 100% and thinks he’ll be cleared and ready to go in TC. Remember he injured his knee in week 1 last season with the 49ers. He had the same knee injury that X had in 2019 and X has been good to go the last 2 seasons.
Yes, all we can do is project, but the talking heads had no issue last year projecting the cheats improvement, this year they’ve gotten worse, which some don’t want to admit, and we’ve gotten better, the same way they did last year with proven vets
We close 2021 8-1, well you didn’t play anyone in that stretch they said, except the lunch handed loss
To win 7 in a row in the NFL is a great accomplishment, no matter who you play, because on any given Sunday…see jets vs Bengals
The 8-1 close was significant for our mostly the same D, Tua and Waddle, that carries over to 2022
2022 speculation? Yes, but only for OL, RB and coaching staff
We’re at worst 2021 version plus Hill, Armstead and Williams, that has to account for at least 2 wins
AFC is better this year, yes, but we aren’t playing the teams, that got better except Chargers
Our division is somewhat better, the cheats declined, Jets better and Bills better, mostly a push though 4-2 isn’t bad again
AFC North really isn’t better Clev without Watson, Ravens getting injured players back a little better, we may have the blueprint on them though, and Cin we play a no win game, Pitt decline without Ben
In NFC GB won’t be better than the TB team we played last year, the other 3 are very winnable games, SF with a new QB and no MM who knows
AFC getting better this season is based on Raiders, Chargers, Broncos, Colts and Clev with Watson, then our additions, we likely only play 1 of those
What does it all mean? AFC West will have tough games, when they play each other, so I
expect 1 WC out of that division at most, winner of our Ravens game has the upper hand on that battle for WC, Tenn got worse maybe no WC out of that division, Cheats will try to hold of jets more than ge ta WC
Hope OD is ok…
Why wouldn’t he be? Did something happen while I was away?
Next time I hear, yeah, but the AFC is much better this year…I’m going to think it’s a good thing for us to get in, but harder to win a playoff game
(See AFC breakdown above)
I just saw the headlines of an article on PhinPhanatic that read “Miami Dolphins Dan Marino first two seasons still better than Herbert’s”
It just drives home the point that we are in the doldrums of the season.
First of all, why compare the two? There is absolutely no connection between them. WHO CARES!? Dan retired 22 years ago and Herbert plays for another team.
I refused to click the link, but have to wonder, what made whoever it was on that blog think to write an article about that.
{checking notes} Dan Marino’s first two seasons are still better than 50 QB’s drafted since him.
No story here.
What about the other 50 QBs😝
8 more days until Dolphins rookies report and two weeks until the vets report. We are getting close lads.
Hell yeah!
Good morning to you blokes, night here, I need some military questions answered for a book I’m writing. Researched as much as I could but I need some specific questions answered. I know Phelon and BBM have served and was wondering if they could help me out. I don’t use social media so it would have to be by email. I can give my email addy to Mike E. I think. He used to post it for new blogs a few years back. If this works I would be most grateful.
PhinDog (Navy) and OD (Viietnam) served as well.
Happy to help. Mike has my email.
So, who on here thinks Gesicki will bet re-signed? They only have until Friday at 4pm to get a deal done and it looks like they aren’t even going to try. He is a good player, even if the new coaches don’t see him as a perfect fit. I wish we could sign him and trade him next season to get something for letting him go. (I think he is worth a 2nd easy)
The new coaches may want more time to work with him and see him perform before deciding if he’s a fit moving forward.
Not a chance in hell they re-sign before the deadline on Friday, if they were going to they would’ve already
He isn’t a pain in the ass, looking for every last dollar, which would mean they’re still trying to get a deal done
Think MM decided, he wants to see the fit before he shells out big money
In the long run it will cost a little more, but the savings vs him not being a fit is significantly more
Let’s say the running game doesn’t click this year, and MM determines its because he needs a dual threat TE and Gesicki isn’t that
If he had signed him longterm he’d be stuck
For the Boba Fett fans. LOL
Tyreek “Hill leads the league with 3.4 yards of separation per route since 2016, per Next Gen Stats.” And our guys sucked in separation space last year.
I don’t think Tua is allowed to have a WR with those skills, the league may have to look into this
He “finished bottom-two in average target depth in two of the past three years. Conversely, Pro Football Focus has charted him as one of the fastest quarterbacks in average time to throw.”
Tua?…. Nope — that’s Jimmy Garoppolo. The new system might be a fit.
Go look at Jimmy’s stats, they should be Tua’s floor, based on per game averages
Would be nice, if Tua played all 17, but not mandatory for us to make the playoffs
Looking at his stats just reminded me how often he’s been injured. But I’d take the 2021 stats for sure, and the Niners wanted to move on from him after that. Must be a QB-friendly system.
Steelers are changing the name of Heinz Field to Acrisure Stadium, after its new sponsor, a Michigan-based insurance company. Fans aren’t happy. Heinz is a Pittsburgh icon and no one has ever heard of Acrisure. We’re lucky Hard Rock bought our rights.
😡
You should become a judge. Then it would be illegal to harass you in order to influence your decisions.
I am trying
You’d be a good one. But go to your local bar association meetings… least that was the key in Richmond, VA.
Someone must be protesting your politics by harassing you.
Hulk just needs to calm down and have Bruce Banner figure it out.
Plenty of people harass me every day. Part of the job description however when FB does it’s gratuitous harassment
What were you trying to post?
Just a funny meme about Zack Wilson
This one
Or this one
Not those but they are good ones 😂
You should become a judge. Then it would be illegal to harass you in order to influence your decisions.
———————–
As long as you are not a republican judge. lol
This is a headline I saw from one of the Dolphins fan sites. I didn’t read it but I’ve been thinking about the same thing.
“How should Miami Divide up its Running Back’s Workloads?”
I think we’re going to see a RB committee for sure. But I can see it being series based. One back plays the majority of plays on drives. With the exception of Edmonds being the 3rd down back much of the time on 3rd and 5 or more. This gets the backs in a groove instead of a carry here and there throughout the entire game. Of course it’s not always going to be the same, the hot hand will have moments too.
So I see the news on Zach Wilson is he’s banging his mom’s friend and it’s become a gossip story. Ya see, Tua doesn’t do that kind of stuff. The media has to attack him on their own, he doesn’t draw them in with off field nonsense.
Probably been doing it since high school. WTG Zach!
As long as she’s not married…
That would be underage for the most part.
My friend Jim some of you met just had his son get engaged and the girl is on FB calling him Jimbo. I’ve been best buds with him for like 26 years and I still call him Mr Jim so I find this appalling and I’m categorically against this.
Uwant, if Phelon can’t help you I can. All he did is serve forever but me I watched ALL of the movies.
Truth be told, I sometimes text Phelon during movies to ask him about certain things. That’s true.
I told UWant that Mike has my email. Happy to help out. Even if an Aussie Marine got me kicked out of Raffles in Singapore once. Didn’t even make it to the Long Bar!
That’s nice of you after such poor treatment
I bet none of you know who Jim Bohannon is.
I do sometimes call him Jimbohannon so there is sort of a Jimbo there but a plain old Jimbo, I’m against it unless it’s one of the boys.
I didn’t
https://www.jimbohannonshow.com/
If he’s batting and you’re his teammate cheering him on then ok the Jimbo is fine but to just throw it out there so – egregiously – it’s just wrong.
In shotgun on 3rd and 5 or more how do opponents defend Hill, Waddle, Wilson, Gesicki and Edmonds? What defense is built for this? They better be quick and fast. I don’t see the back end of most defenses being able to match up against our speed. It’s being overlooked. Keep sleeping on it because Tua can’t do this or that.
The pundits are forgetting about our defense and the STs are solid. The Miami Dolphins will never be an easy win on the schedule for any team.
