So this is the last game the Miami Dolphins will be playing that won’t count in the standings. It will count, however, for those players desperately vying to grab a roster spot. The majority of the roster is probably accounted for, but there are probably a handful of bubble decisions that will be determined by performances in this last game. There will be a few positions where the depth will have to be figured out, most importantly DB, where the Dolphins have lost some depth players, and actually may not have their starting CB Byron Jones ready for Game 1 against the New England Patriots. At RB, no one back has looked particularly good in either game yet, so most of the work in practice will have determined the depth chart so far, plus, McD may just want to keep the Patriots guessing as to what our offense will actually be. WR is where a few potential depth guys have looked good, but considering we have the first 4 spots locked up with Hill, Waddle, Wilson and Ezukanma, add in the fact that we may carry 3 QB’s, plus at least one fullback, it’s possible only 5 WR’s make it, and not 6. Does Lynn Bowden Jr. make the cut, or perhaps Braylon Sanders, or River Cracraft, or veteran Mohammed Sanu?
Running back has been a tough one to figure. You would think you can write in Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert and Sony Michel, because McD and Grier just brought them here. Myles Gaskin was here already, but he’s a guy that has produced too. Salvon Ahmed is too much like Gaskin, so I guess it will be either or, if one them makes the roster. Rookie ZaQuandre White hasn’t seen much action, just 2 carries for negative 1 yards. Gaskin leads the Dolphins with 39 yards on 8 carries. QB Skylar Thompson is 2nd with 26. In other words, we really haven’t seen enough to have any expectations. ZaQuandre White does have a 19 yard TD reception, so there’s that.
It has to be tempered because it’s preseason, but I like what I’ve seen of DE Porter Gustin, and I think he has a chance to stick. At LB, both Cameron Goode and 3rd RD draft pick Channing Tindall showed some positive things. Tindall is a lock, but Goode may find himself a spot on the roster as well. At CB, Mackensie Alexander is done, (that was quick!), so guys like Keion Crossen and longshot Kader Kohou have a chance because of the injury situation. Iggy seems to be on the outside looking in. Everything I’ve seen from this kid in this preseason tells me he’s a not an NFL player. We did well taking a shot with Nik Needham, I think one of the aforementioned guys is also going to get a shot.
At TE, there’s been lots of chatter about Mike Gesicki getting traded. I don’t see it happening, but I’m not against it if we get the right return. Gesicki is a one dimensional player at the moment, a talented one, but still one dimensional. He’s a receiver, and hasn’t seemed to have embraced the blocking aspect of the position. Durham Smythe can do both, but he’s not as good as a receiver as Gesicki. Long hasn’t really proved he’s great at anything, and Cethan Carter gives you H-back flexibility and is a strong blocker. I think to myself, Durham Smythe, Hunter Long and Cethan Carter don’t put any fear into any defense, and while Gesicki isn’t a great blocker, he’s a top 8-10 receiving TE. Tough call there, but if they can get a starter where we need it for Gesicki, or a 3rd RD pick in the 2023 draft, go for it.
On the O-line, we’ve been protecting LT Terron Armstead, and Larnel Coleman has been given a lot of playing time. Coleman has been good and bad, as expected. Coleman was a 7th RD pick last year, and he appears to be locked in as Armstead’s backup. The 5 we know will be here are Armstead, Eichenberg, Williams, Hunt and Jackson. The remaining guys are Greg Little, Solomon Kindley, Robert Jones, Michael Deiter, Adam Pankey, Kion Smith, Kellen Diesch and Blaise Andries. Due to the fact that Armstead is oft injured, Coleman seems to be safe. Greg Little was a 2nd RD pick back in ’19 for the Panthers, so he has some pedigree, but we haven’t seen anything from him here in MIA. Lots of decisions. Our special teams is set with K Jason Sanders, P Thomas Morstead, LS Blake Ferguson, and KR/PR Tyreek Hill, Raheem Mostert, Jaylen Waddle and Jevon Holland. Just stay healthy guys, the roster will work itself out!

GO DOLPHINS!!!

I think Alain the Canadian is spot on with his prediction.
Need to include the link

I think the Canadien is way off the mark🍻

Steve, there are also FOUR tabs along the top of the page where you unclick the choices. You have to go to each tab and unclick them. The second tab “Comments” Is probably the one hitting your inbox.

None of those tabs have anything on them

Rows 18-22
Seats 21-28 (plus 2 more tagged on the end of a row).
323 is the flip side (opposite corner) of what we had last year on the visitor’s side, but our rows are like 5-6 rows further down. And the 8X4 square on the aisle is nice.
Bad news is the price is more at $85 per ticket.
It’s closer to the parking lot
Yes it is. These tickets should save everyone 120 yards or so of walking versus last year.
Thanks for the response Stanger😉
lol — yeah I’m getting the emails too.
Aiight, let me respond to see if you’re still getting them
Confirmed
Funny bastard

Darius Hodge got cut. That might be the Flowers roster spot.
Booo! That was my Herd player on the team. 🤬
So Hodge was cut. I thought he looked decent in the PS but he does lack prototype size as an edge guy.
Any other players cut yet?
Okay these are players rumored to be cut or have been.
Adam Pankey – Per Barry Jackson
Calvin Munson – Per Jackson
Blaise Andries – Per Jackson
Mohammed Sanu – Per Jackson
Gerrid Doaks – Per Jeremy Fowler
If you’re going to come to the party late…😝
I already said I was late when I asked about it.
Just finalized Dave & Buster’s Hollywood for the night before. As usghe will run 6-10 (although later an option).
Also changed up the food a bit. Gonna start with the apps like before early but then at about 8 they’ll roll out a nachos/chicken taco bar. They let me do fewer per person orders of each in order to have both. But overall will be more food.
You are the best Stanger! Thanks for doing this every year!
Thanks Stanger
Just really glad you’re able to do all of this. 😉💪✌️
That’s awesome, Stang. Counting the days and looking forward to it!
Rock — gotta get you to talk to the wife at D&B’s. 🙂
Son — sorta nice to be able to do anything for sure.
Cav — thanks, but guessing the food won’t be awesome to your foody standards. Fills you up though.
I love eating at restaurants and bar/ restaurants. It’s all about the company. As long as the food is palatable (which D&B is), it’s perfectly good enough for me. 🙂
It’s really fun. I’d like to grill out on my patio next to the pool, but don’t have a grill, patio or pool. Finding a group space on a Sat nite is tough.
I wonder which player we release will get picked up by the Pats/Bellicheat to be interrogated on our scheme.
He does it every year.
YUP, indeed he does. It would be an Offensive player though, IMO, being Belicheat* already knows the Boyer Defense.
Right
I was about to say that he has Parker for that but he won’t know shit.
Probably an Oline to talk about blocking schemes
BOOM! That candidate would be Adam Pankey.
And so the countdown for Pankey to the Patsies* begins…
All he really needs to do is watch video of the 49ers offense.
Dang the page turn sometimes ya know?

Thanks Naples. Appreciated. All the cats are herded now till the Fest….. so all is working.
Here
In that tweet Wolfe is reporting 13 players have been released.
As for Michel and Doaks being cut, it’s becoming clear McDaniel prefers quickness and speed over size.
Here
From the article…
“Also released: offensive linemen Adam Pankey and Blaise Andries; safety Quincy Wilson; edge players Darius Hodge and Owen Carney Jr.; running backs Gerrid Doaks and Zaquandre White; safety Elijah Hamilton; defensive tackle Niles Scott and cornerback D’Angelo Ross. Also, linebacker Calvin Munson was placed on injured reserve and is out for the year.”

Bet you Doaks and WHite end up on the P-Squad.
100% agreed, Stanger.
No real surprises yet
Michel didn’t look very good with the Rams at the end of last year and he looked like that same player with us in the PS. He doesn’t get much yardage on his own.
49ers…
West is a center I believe. We were looking at him this past draft.
Yup! He’s a surprise cut, IMO.
He was undrafted.
So we’re sitting at 68, right? 13 more cuts?
*15 more cuts
According to the headline by Barry Jackson, there are 16 more cuts coming.
Oh, duh, lol, I didn’t see it sandwiched in there.
cheers
LOL, you owe me a cut! I’ll take a cut of filet mignon, very rare, done on your grill, my guy! 😉
Cheers!
Coming right up- topped with caramelized onions and a whiskey reduction sauce, garlic mashed taters, and maque choux.
*M13 is suddenly getting VERY, VERY hungry*!!! DAY-UM!!!
Bro, you ROCK! I can tell you know how and what to grill!!!
#Respect
Steve, not sure if you’ve got yours fixed yet, and I know this is basically the first thing Rock posted so it probably won’t help, but for me it started Saturday and the emails stopped when I removed emails for likes on my comments and replies on my comments for ‘other blogs’.
Oh…
They know what they have in him. They can win with Jimmy G if Trey Lance struggles.
welp then
I apologize to BBM and all who tried to tell me Sony Michel would get cut.
Wow I am still shocked by it.
I guess I must trust the coaches who see the players every day.
Personally, I was surprised we signed Michel to begin with… he’s a mere shadow of his former self.
He looks like he’s lost a step.
Yup, and he’s young enough that Belicheat* would have kept him around if he was worth it.
Sometimes you take a look at a vet player and hope it works out.
We are all slotting every player into the 53 from what we have, but it ain’t over when you hit 53. Normally we swap in 2 or 3 players after the cuts are done. But maybe as deep as this team is will be less of that this year.
To me, it was a no brainer, but I am glad we kept Gaskin and Ahmed has flashed in this offense. I like our RB group. Stash Doaks and White on PS.
Can you imagine all the trade talk going on right now with every team’s last cuts.
Apparently includes us and Preston Williams. But even that is a 6th or a 7th if it works out. ONly thing we have going on our side of that is he is making close to the vet minimum.
Yeah the phones are all ringing. They have to 3:00pm tomorrow right?
Practice Squad is a lot bigger gang than in years past. Up to 16. And not sure about all that games played stuff overall, but a huge chunk of that is gone. Vets welcome.
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/nfl-practice-squad-salary-rules-2022/xfsq4rhj3ro6sdw8p4y6hzia
So as someone above said, after 13 cuts, that brings us down to 67 plus we signed Flowers, so we are at 68, so we will see 15 more cuts. Now is when it really hurts.
At least we can bring back 16 of them, although as all of you have said, we will probably get some of those 16 from other clubs even as they raid our cuts.
The only one of the listed cuts so far that I’d like us to bring back is ZQWhite, and maybe Doaks, although I did think Hodge played well enough to make our PS at least.
Who knows we might end up with a RB we like more than White and Doaks off of waivers.
The one thing about White I don’t like is he slips a lot. He did it on his highlights from college and did it in the preseason with us.
True … light feet sometimes brings a weak base.
CJ Verdell is one that comes to mind.
He is a quick little bowling ball. Reminds me a little of Gaskin.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EshMqW0bOqo
He did get injured mid season last year. May not be 100%.
Not one single quarterback in history ever got evaluated negatively on long completed passes the way Tua does.
Line up assholes when the time comes we’ll list every single one by name and ridicule them mercilessly
Go watch Tyreek highlights that we all posted when we traded for him. Mahomes under threw him most of the time on deep throws, partly because he’s not a rhythm QB but an improve guy and broken play stuff. Whenever they connected it was amazing!!! Every throw Tua makes is critiqued. It’s all nonsense. There is some truth to Tua being more accurate and a better rhythm QB. The time is now for him to prove that. 🙂
I see a clip on FB of a table discussion about (I thought) the fins but all it is is them talking about a 51 yard completion that set up a 4 play TD drive and it isn’t good enough 🖕
Oh it’s the Tannenbaum one, I had commented after only watching the first few seconds, he sounds like a total stupid fuck. Ridiculous.
He’s been ragging on Tua all along. I’m tired of his voice where it sounds like phlegm is going to come out at anytime. LOL
Lol
He looks like the pudgy kid, that got his ass kicked daily
Looking at WordPress, I open the comments, it all started when Rock replied to rub and tugs😏
You got me! I was able to hack into your computer get to your settings and maliciously reset them to fill your inbox with spam. Muuuhaaaa haaaa haaaa haaaa!
Tua really reminded me of Steve Young sans taking off running too often against the Eagles. Lots of movement and boots and making accurate throws. This offense isn’t throwing bubble screens and RPO all day. There is much more depth to the routes. I love it!
Our offense is loaded the way Steve’s was, this is going to be a fun season
If we stay healthy for the most part, the rest of the league doesn’t really know what’s coming. It’s not one side of the ball. 😉
FMU Fantasy draft is Thursday, Sep 1, 2022 at 8:00pm EDT.…. Please check your emails and get back to me …
If anyone new is looking to play email me at DRP667@hotmail.com. There MAY be an opening ….
I’m wondering if Ingram is on the bubble and that’s why we signed Flowers. I haven’t seen or heard much about Ingram.
I thought that also. He didn’t make much of an impact that last ps game when he was in there with the starters. Like we were missing AVG that last game as far as getting any pressure from that side. He got some push but no pressure.
AVG is totally underrated. He can play on my team any time. I like Ingram but he might be done at 33. The coaches see him everyday.
That very well might be true.
They will definitely cut Ingram if they think he also looked “done,”
but I didn’t think he looked like he was just going through the motions,
but then I missed on Sony,
so it might be something only seen in practice
where he lost a step or
where he lost his mojo.
Ingram is a rush OLB
Flowers is a true DE
Not the same
I’m still shocked we cut Sony Michel.
I’m not. He looks sluggish in open space and can only power for a yard or two. That’s not enough to make a team. He looked sluggish during the Rams Super Bowl run. Cam Akers worked his way back into the mix after an Achilles injury. Pretty remarkable actually. Michel looks done. I was hoping for the best but the coaches said no he’s not what we’re looking for.
McDaniel likes quickness and speed. It’s obvious.
But Flowers is a big dude,
like Ogbah size,
and he can play true DE and help out inside in short yardage.
Ingram is more of a OLB, but maybe he’s too slow to cover any more.
I said way back at draft time that we only had one listed DE on the roster.
Then we traded all those picks for Hill (yay),
so there was no real way to pick both a DE and a ILB, both of which we needed.
Flowers is 6-2 260 range. Phillips is a much bigger and faster dude and closer to Ogbah’s size. But Flowers when healthy can play. He fits our edge role.
Phillips is the next big edge guy in the NFL. It’s okay to enjoy that Dolphins fans. LOL
I agree with you … all 3 are great players and will be fun to watch.
Flowers is shorter and huskier, thicker at 6’2 265.
Phillips is much taller and built more like a TE.
He’s 6’5 or 6’6 263. Same weight but stretched out.
Ogbah is more of a prototype 3-4 DE … he’s 6’4 278. That’s hard to block.
All the big boys are gone. It seems now that it’s Mostert, Edmonds, Gaskin and Ahmed, unless we pick someone else up. I guess McD doesn’t have the need for a bigger back.
plus FB Ingold
I think he makes the team.
Right Naples, but Ingold doesn’t carry the football. Not sure who the short yardage back is in this group, or if there’s a guy that wears down the defense other than them getting tired of chasing them. 🙂
22 yards 1.5 per carry in his career……
oh well
Expected that
Yeah, I called it on here too.
Some of ya’ll can rub one out now! 😉
Dammit on the Bowden release.
KIndley released. I thought he might make it as a backup. He was moving people in the run game.
Kellen Diesch cut. Kind of expected that.
Gustin cut. He showed some stuff against backups. Maybe we put him on the PS.
Dammit on the Cameron Goode cut.
I guess Flowers took his spot, and I guess that’s better for the team.
I haven’t seen Goode’s name on the cut list yet. May have missed it, but have not seen it yet.
YUP you were right. I just saw the tweets.
OL Adam Pankey,
WR Mohamed Sanu
DB Quincy Wilson
OL Blaise Andries,
DL Owen Carney Jr.,
RB Gerrid Doaks,
CB Elijah Hamilton,
DT Niles Scott
RB Za’Quandre White;
LB Darius Hodge
DB D’Angelo Ross
OL Kelln Diesch
LB Porter Gustin
WR Lynn Bowden
OL Solomon Kindley
RB Sony Michel
placed LB Calvin Munson on injured reserve; .
Surprised Kindley got cut, but he’s not a space guy, he’s a phone booth guy. Besides the starting 5, I guess Little, Coleman, Deiter and maybe Jones?
I’d keep Kion Smith over Larnel Coleman, but I’ve been wrong a couple times already, sooo …
I think Jones and Coleman can be replaced easily enough, so I’d prefer keeping guys that would be hard to replace such as Cracraft, who seems to have a 7-11 understanding of McDaniel’s offense.
Does this blog count as social media? Because I fucking hate social media. I think it makes America stupid (or greatly contributes to it, or as least shows the stupidity out there. There are articles popping up now that Larmar Jackson may get dealt to Miami. WE HAVE OUR FRANCHISE QB FUCKERS! All because Jackson “liked” a post some idiot did of him in a Dolphins jersey. Can they just STOP already!?
Yes, I believe this counts as social media. No one else has to know though. lol
I wouldn’t trade them straight up!
Never been a fan of his
Big running back that is a threat to throw the ball (Shitily)
Some salty fans out there. Tuanon is real. LOL
Brennan Scarlett again is a Trey Flowers cut. (I have Flowers taking spots from 3 or 4 guys. I guess I should calm down about Trey.)
Verone McKinley was just too slow or raw.
LOL Damn Flowers taking EVERYONE’S spot!
I was hoping Verone McKinney would be a gem we uncovered since he was a teammate of Snowman. oh well. Keep the best 53 guys!
Josh Andrews. Keep that name in the back of your head.
Don’t we have to make the decision on Jones before 3:00 also?
We will NOT be putting him on IR preseason (which is all year) After today we can put him on temp IR. If we leave him on PUP he must be out 4 weeks I think.
The camp practices I saw Ingram looked great, quick and explosive, think we can put to rest him not making 53
He’s a vet, MM likely saw enough in practice, and didn’t need to see it in PS
8 more to go, right?
Shit, this is hard.
Kion Smith released
👍
Larnell next
How many more need to be cut?
Do we know who the 8 or 9 OL are?
Looks like Cracraft is going to make it, wonder if he returns punts
Hated seeing both Bowden and Preston returning punts, because neither does it good enough
Not really to hard
As a reminder, Byron Jones remains on Active/PUP, but the Dolphins will have to move him to the active roster or Reserve/PUP by that 4 p.m. deadline. If he goes on Reserve/PUP, Jones would have to sit out the first four games of the regular season before being eligible to return.
I read they won’t be keeping him on pup, but that could change
The list of cuts shows 21 names, but Flowers was added, so I believe that puts us at 61, with 8 to go
Preston, Sanders, Conner, Bonito, Stiller, Iggy, Fejedelem, Eguavoen
Maybe Larnell, instead of Eguavoen
That would give us R Jones, Little and Deiter as backup OL, I’m good with that
I think Fegedelem makes it as does Equavoen
Final 8
P. Williams
Sanders
Conner
Stille
Kohou
Colman
B Jones (DT)
Campbell
Tanner Connor and Kader Kohou
Benito Jones and Robert Jones
WR Williams and Sanders
Stille and Crossen
Or Coleman gets cut and RJones makes it
Depends on whether they think they need interior backup or OT backup,
Good thing is both Jackson and Eich have played both guard and tackle.
I feel bad for the 1,400 guys who’s dreams may die today. A lot of them will make it to practice squads, but for the majority it will be the Home Depot.
good call Steve on “Coleman next”
I was not impressed by Coleman’s work in PS1 or PS2,
but in his defense, we were running vanilla offense in those games.
He has good feet, so maybe we keep him around to develop.
I don’t see anyone poaching him, and we did invest a lot in him at camp, he’s just not there yet
Steve, I think Iggy makes the cut this season (last time)
Hope it’s not at the expense of Kohou, but maybe Iggy us going to be our PR
I don’t trust Iggy to never muff a punt and give some team easy points, maybe lose a game.
just to make you feel a bit better Rock, 80 down to 53 is 27 x 32 teams would be 864 players being cut, more or less (see Trey Flowers taking up 6 guys’ roster spots).
Of course Rock
you are probably counting all the way back up to 90, so that would take it up to 1184, so basically you were correct, and I should just not be so OCD.
thanks. I had a brain fart and multiplied by 52 teams. 52 weeks in a year. 32 teams in the NFL. Brain is realigned.
I will bet $20.00 that the “Final 53” at 4pm today will not be the final 53 on Sept 11th.
Way to put it all on the line
Don’t think it’s been, the last 20 years
Larnell and Kion were an absolute train wreck, glad both are gone
With Little looking good PS3, it makes me feel better about our OL
I believe Crossen will make it, either he or Kohou will get a spot, maybe both, if Iggy is gone
I think Crossen makes it and Kohou goes to PS. Iggy makes it this last time unless he grows this season.
Looks like MM is going for broke, at least what having Ingram and Flowers, then cutting Bowden suggests
Look for a rotation of Waddle, Hill and Snowman returning punts
That’s dangerous,
but there’s probably a game-breaking play or
even a TD in there if those 3 share PR duties.
Something that was an interesting coincidence was us seeing our last year’s #3 QB in PS up close on his new team, which really showed off the difference between a usual QB3 vs third stringers and how Skylar looks.
Assuming Skylar makes the 53, I can totally support that.
Crossen is a lock, unless he has an injury I don’t know about
Iggy and Kohou both make it, if Jones stays on PUP, which I don’t expect
Or we keep 6 CBs and 4 S
There it is. No trade. (other teams KNEW)
No surprise cuts for me just yet. Though, was hopeful Kindley and Bowden would have showed enough.
I see Sanu, Michel and Bowden getting signed elsewhere. I see a few of the rest coming back to our practice squad like
OL Adam Pankey
DB Quincy Wilson
RB Gerrid Doaks
CB Elijah Hamilton
RB Za’Quandre White
LB Darius Hodge
OL Kelln Diesch
LB Porter Gustin
OL Solomon Kindley
Some may get bumped for another team’s cut.
you have room for 7 more
Yeah, thinking about the cuts to come
They put injury designations on Hodge and D’Angelo Ross, which I think gives us some kind of leverage or protection against them signing elsewhere, but I don’t know what it means exactly.
And Munson went on IR, so he’s done for the year but also unpoachable (I think).
No, you can’t waive an injured player, so you agree on an injury settlement, and the player us free to sign where ever
Yeah baby!
and some of us said we were “Deep” at WR last season…LOL
Right, lol
Did Trent Sherfield play this preseason? I don’t remember hearing his name once in TC or the games.
He caught a pass in each game, I think.
Checking:
1 for 15 in PS3
1 for 16 in PS2
1 for 33 in PS1
I didn’t have Bowden making it, so the only thing that mildly surprises me to this point is Iggy seemingly surviving to waste a spot for one more year.
How many more do we have to cut?
3 or 4 depending on what they do with Jones and the PUP. We are at 56 as of a few minutes ago.
🍻
You just watch. Preston Williams will be picked up by NE and put up 100 yards and 2 TD’s on us this year! (Dolphins luck)
would agree, but they have Devante, so Preston would be redundant.
Besides we know very well how to guard both of those guys.
Per Spotrac, that Pats have officially only made 1 cut down from their 80, Malcolm Butler.
Leave it to Bellicheat to wait until the last minute.
We have freed up $14,018,128 so far with our cuts. Though, probably only Bowden ($1,038,128) was top 51 in money that would impact our cap space.
53 plus PS players will count soon
MM said he was going to keep the guys that are getting it done now, some vets of course exclude from that, but true at RB
Cracraft still on the roster?
So is Sanders right now. Hmmmmmmm 7 WR? Someone is going to get cut.
If I recall correctly the waiver wire starts tomorrow at noon and it goes in order of the draft? So if you want a player that was waived then you put bid in for him and if you are the lowest (highest?) team to put in a bid you get that player?
That process must make it hard to choose who to put a claim in on! You MIGHT get more players than you plan on or you might get none!
Stille gone
PS guy
Spotrac shows 22 cuts so far.
There goes Ben Stille
Spotrac shows Darius Hodge and D’Angelo Ross added to IR and not just released with an injury designation.
Which means they count against the cap
yep
They were waived/injured though, not like Munson, who went straight to IR.
I think waived/injured means they can’t be poached
until they come off short term IR.
But not real sure about that.
Spotrac shows them on IR like Munson.
How many more to go?
4 I think, we had 8, then Kion, Larnell, Preston and Stille were cut
Thought so!
Thanks Alain
That’s better than waiting till Christmas for our first pick like we had to do in the draft.
The other problem is, if you’re awarded someone, they must be put on your 53 for some period of time, so choose wisely Grasshopper
It is still possible Michel and Bowden could end up on our PS.
Not likely though
Sadly, that is very unlikely.
Doaks and White have a much better chance.
I agree as far as Michel goes.
I don’t think both make it to the NE game. There will be some churning.
No reason to keep Sanders, we have enough guys, that can do what he does
Cracraft is similar, but has that Cooper Kupp edge and twitch
This is who we currently have on IR and their cap hit per Spotrac.
Adam Shaheen TE $2,184,805
Calvin Munson ILB $704,412
Mackensie Alexander CB $580,000
Trill Williams CB $460,000
Darius Hodge DE $455,000
John Lovett FB $455,000
D’Angelo Ross CB $455,000
Injured players who will miss the remainder of the season. Their cap figures count toward the team total.
That’s our farm team, we’re using IR to stash players
Wonder, if any of those are eligible to return midseason
No, only after the 53 is set are they allowed to bring back some of the IR guys. Meaning if they go on IR before they are on it all year.
There ya go Herd, Hodge remains
Looking at the last few cuts seems there’s no reason to jettison Teddy, just yet
I expect Sanders to be the last one to go, probably trying to trade him
Alain Poupart
@PoupartNFL
Interesting to note that the three veteran running backs the Dolphins brought in last season — Phillip Lindsay, Malcolm Brown, Duke Johnson — all now have been released
All 3 of them will sign with some one before September is through
And each of them will have a couple of good games
Bc that’s the way it works with RBs
If you aren’t elite
You’ll still get a chance to start a couple of games
Malcolm Brown may be done but the other 2 looked like they had juice left last season
Probably not resigned until after week one. Otherwise as vested vets their salary is guaranteed for the year.
Stanger,
do you need me to send you money now? how do I go about that doing that? thx
He usually like CASH at Dave & Busters the night before.
Like Rock said — just give me $85 in cash at D&B’s and I’lll give you your ticket.
1 of Fejedelem (my choice), Iggy, Kohou, Campbell and Crossen should be cut maybe 2
Here’s the reference I am using about “waived/injured” …
“waived defensive back D’Angelo Ross with an injury designation. This means that Ross reverts back to Miami’s injured reserve if he’s unclaimed on waivers.”
So I think I got it backwards.
I think now it means any other team can poach him for 24 hours or so,
but if none do, he is ours again but must go on IR.
Hodge too
oh … citation
Conflicting reports, I’d bet they’re waived/injured and don’t go on our IR
Browns are cutting Josh Rosen. Still angry we wasted a 2nd and 5th on that scrub.
Kenyan Drake signing with the Ravens
LOL, stick it to ’em Alain
Damn How did they stay relevant?
Belicheat the coach >> Belicheat the GM
There’s this
He went undrafted
Guess those last few cuts are taking a while, either trying to trade or tough decisions
rock thanks,
stanger, I actually get to miami the morning of 16th (I’m flying a red eye 🙂 . So I can pay you at the tailgate if that works.
tailgate works but somehow Ken is going to have your contact info for you to find the tailgate.
