Dolphins beat Baltimore…..But they were injured and aren’t that good anyway. They lost to the Dolphins.
Dolphins beat Buffalo…….But they were injured and they aren’t that good really…They lost to the Dolphins.

What do the power rankings say tomorrow?

I know what the odds say.
76% of teams in our position make it to the playoffs.

There’s talk they will suspend or fine the bills OC for destroying league property because they were all warned last year after Brady smashed a tablet.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

You have to think the Bills’ OC came with his own pre-programmed tablet.

      • naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

I thought it was illegal to use private tablets …
something about no internet allowed during games and various other security stuff.

        not sure though

Just saying, random thought really, but if those old fucks dare to pop the cork on this team 6-7 games from now I will not let it pass. Might even open a social media account to say something.

    Probably not.

    But maybe.

  19. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Start of an article about why the Bills lost from Buffalorumblings.
    ——————————

The Buffalo Bills lost a heartbreaker of a game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. With guys from the practice squad playing meaningful snaps, the sheer number of things that had to go wrong for the Dolphins to have a chance in this game was mind-boggling.

    Here are my takeaways.

    Beat by the heat
The Bills lost several starters during the game due to heat-related illnesses and there were multiple instances of Buffalo’s players cramping or feeling the heat. The trainers were quick with the water, and Buffalo had folks providing shade on their sun-bathed sidelines, but they weren’t able to keep the players in the game. Isaiah McKenzie and Dawson Knox went to the locker room for IV fluids in the second half. Stefon Diggs left the game with 8 minutes left and tried gutting it out, but was not effective down the stretch and kept taking himself out of the game. Spencer Brown went to the locker room and was quickly ruled out in the first half with a heat-related illness. It was brutal to watch.

  20. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Might be just us and Phil undefeated

  21. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Buffalo lost, because they were over confident at our goal line, trying to run the clock out, instead of just scoring

  22. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Bills won the time of possession battle 40:40 – 19:20.

Normally you talk about tiring out defenses, but maybe we tired out their offense.

  23. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Let’s enjoy the 3-0 at the moment. It’s been awhile. 🙂

  25. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If time had not run out on the last play the Bills would have been trying to kick a 58-yarder.

  26. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Tua today was 13 of 18 for 186 yards and a passer rating of 123.8.

  27. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Stanger, not calling you out, just adding to the conversation. Tua wins games.

  28. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

It’s still a little early to say for sure, but I believe Tua may be #1 QB rating when this week is over.

  29. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

  34. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Tampa punter they say was roughed, negating a return to Tampa 32, replay shows he was held and pulled into the punter, after, re-kick GB gets ball on their own 32, then throws int and Tampa gets an FG

It never stops, the calls Brady gets when trailing

  35. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

He will never be elite. He will never lead in passer rating…Well, he will never bet top 5 in yards, well he will never be top 5 in yards per, well, he will never be top 5 in TD’s. Well, he will never be clutch in the 4th…..

    NOPE

    Never

  36. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

With all those DBs out, was I the only one expecting a repeat of the Hill & Waddle show today? Maybe they hung so far back in coverage with those rookie DBs that the short to mid routes by our RBs and TEs made sense. ‘Cept for that one drive with Waddle of course.

  42. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I said it earlier and I’m going to say it again: Sean McDermott is WISE.

In light of having 5 Defensive (STUDS!) starters ruled OUT, he chose to play a game of ball control, so as to keep the ball out of our Offense’s hands. Hence the TOP they had.

There is a lesson to be learned here.

  52. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

MY MANTRA is to arrive at the QB with only 4 rushers, without the blitz. Some may have noticed that even the announcers today stated when we arrived with 4 rushers against Josh Allen, without the blitz.

    It’s time to scout for a 3-down pass-rusher, IMO.

  53. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

Tua completed a pass on 3rd and 22 way down field even though he had a check down open for an easy 8.

  54. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

The little things Brady led teams get their way. GB receiver was clearly brought down in bounds, but the refs call it out of bounds and stop the clock

M – I hated all the DB blitzes we did. Allen killed us every time. Gotta get there with 4, or 5 if you want use a LB, but you give Allen a free receiver he will make you pay

    Bucs fall

  67. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Fucker threw for 400 yards and 2 TD’s no Ints glad we had him uncomfortable.

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Numbers sound nice but overall we kept him in check. He didn’t beat us with big plays and we kept hitting him. Despite those numbers only 19 points

  68. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Anytime your defense holds that Bills offense to 17 points (3 in the 2nd half), you did something right.

  69. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

“Breathing was tough sometimes. We had some really, really long drives,” Allen said.

  70. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Bills at Ravens next week. That will be a game to watch.

It’s not inconceivable we could have a 2 game lead in the division after week 4…

  71. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Aren’t we perfect in the red zone so far this year?

  72. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

    OMG….What a fucking game?

    I was exhausted….lol

  73. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Such a team game…it appears we are discovering what that means…awesome!

  74. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

And what’s with the Bills walking off the field and falling down for help near the sideline and stopping the clock for injury…dude you walked half way across the field but couldn’t walk 3 more yards…wtf was that?

    • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

I think there was a lot of gamesmanship happening to give their team extra breathers. not that guys weren’t cramping, but Diggs staying in the out of bounds area instead of moving a few more feet…

      • Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

I call bullshit on the gamesmanship….refs let that shit go….for shame….

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

I’m not sure there is any mechanism for the refs to stop that.

      • Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

That’s not gamesmanship. In snow do we get to the sideline, hang out, stop the clock and bring out hand warmers….lmao.

It called home field advantage. Deal with it…lol

      • Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

You can call unsportsmanlike conduct, tell the coach why, and don’t do it again….fucking simple to me

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Yeah, they can’t do that for a player showing injury, lol. That is why the rule is in place that teams lose a time out, then when out of time outs get penalties when it’s under 2 minutes.

That stuff is laid out. There is no mechanism for the refs to stop them from doing that; what they were doing was within the rules.

  75. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

We’re 3-0 in the AFC and 2-0 in the division. Enjoy folks! We beat the Bills.

  76. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

I think it happened about 5 times

  77. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

These fux just can’t help themselves, she says Tua looked great Dungy says Bills had a lot of defenders out

  78. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Dolphins had just 4 possessions in each half.

The last possession was not a real possession and the possession on the fumble was only 6 yards. We really only had 3 normal offensive possessions in each half.

Bills had five 1st half possessions and only four 2nd half possessions.

It was a little unconventional, but we really limited the Buffalo opportunities by them having such long drives.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I’m sure that was not our intent. This defense definitely showed a lot resolve not breaking though.

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

No doubt we would have preferred to have had better offensive possessions and not leave the defense on the field that long, but I think our defense absolutely intended to keep everything in front of them, not give up the big plays, and make the Bills play short and drive the length of the field.

The Bills offense is just so good, we couldn’t stop them until they got into the redzone.

  79. Wyoming85's avatar Wyoming85 says:

To early to start thinking about controlling our destiny

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

I just mean we have complete control over making the playoffs. I 100% believe this team is a playoff team and that we won’t have to count wins and losses towards the end of the season hoping we can make the playoffs, so why would I worry about the Broncos?

I’m not surprised at your position; you and I were at odds about this all last year, lol.

We win tonight no matter which team loses 🙂

  82. Ken's avatar Ken says:

  92. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Ken – I know we got the strip sack but because we blitzed our DB’s so often against Allen, he shredded us almost every time. Next game that might be a lot more points. We were on the field all day on defense, that’s not a good thing. Some QB’s you can rattle like that, Allen isn’t one of them. We need to find a way to get pressure with 4 or 5 guys, our D-line and one of the LB’s occasionally.

  93. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

And that Allen pass that didn’t make it out of the end zone should have been a safety
