The RECORD for league average for touchbacks on kickoffs occurred in 202 at 61%.
Sanders hit 75% in 2022. (7th highest) Sanders is much better than average.
Ever since they advanced the ball 10 yards as part of the settlement to the concussion lawsuits the kickoff return game has disappeared league wide. Often times when there is not a touchback it is by design on theory that you can pin them deeper than the 25
Look at kickoff return numbers and how they have dropped precipitously
In 2020 the Broncos were 31st in the league, allowing an average of 30.0 yards per kickoff return. Only the Bucs were worse. For comparison, the Dolphins allowed 15.7 yards per kickoff return. In 2019 the Broncos allowed 26.8 yards per kickoff return, which was 29th.
Two points that need to be made. In 2020, the league set a record for touchback percentage at 61.2 percent. That means that three out of every five kickoffs resulted in a touchback. Compare this to 2003 when only 7.3 percent of all kickoffs resulted in a touchback. The league has been above sixty percent for the last three years.
The reason for this lies in the 2016 rule change that brought touchbacks on kickoffs in the NFL out to the 25 yard line instead of the 20. Couple this with the rule change from 2011 that moved the spot for kickoffs from the 30 to the 35 and you make it much easier for every place kicker to kick the ball five to ten yards deep into the end zone.
However, if a team is confident in its kickoff coverage team, it has a chance to make the opposing offense start with a spot worse than the 25 if the kicker kicks the ball to the one (and the team covers well).

Sanders needs to go.
Think it too early. We know he has it in him.
Do you trust him to win a key game or a playoff game? I don’t
Agreed.
I was agreeing with Stanger, but I also understand Ken’s lack of confidence.
Ken — we sorta have to stick with Sanders. I have his jersey.
One year wonder
Replace him with who?
Some guy
A better kicker. Either a FA or in the Draft.
We all know what Tua has done this year, the great relationship he has with McDaniel, and the Tua friendly O scheme McD has put in.
You know who else does? — Brian Flores. Wonder what his take on it is.
I thought we had a moratorium on jerseys
Wrong spot
You explain to MA what she can give me for X-Mas. I dare you. 🙂
A Reggie Roby jersey
Only if the Roby jersey came with an impact resistant Timex watch.
🐖💨
I am not ready to move on from Sanders.
I don’t want to destabilize the position.
I’ve seen where teams are cycling through 2 or 3 players
in the second half of a single season,
which just causes a ripple effect of anxiety and confusion.
All place kickers are sons of bitches.
I’d rather have the son of a bitch we know,
OUR SOB,
than some random SOB
who was working for FedEx in Iowa till we called him back into the league.
The worry I have with Sanders is he struggled last year too. He had a great season in 2020 when he was all pro. Not sure what his issue is with shorter FGs and Xpts. Kickers aren’t always going to make 50+ yarders and we’ve seen Sanders make a bunch of them. But missing the shorter ones is a concern.
btw
Pittsburgh beat New Orleans. Saints must be really bad.
I hate the Saints coach, so maybe he’s part of the problem.
Ken
That is the same site I was citing to support my contention that Sanders is way above the league average, the HIGHEST of which is just 61.2% whereas Sanders hits touchbacks at 75%.
It is really not as statistically significant when consider that pre rule change the league average was 7.3% and now it is over 60%. The KO return is going the way of the dinosaur. You can find kickers who can routinely get touchbacks. We need a kicker who can make FGs and extra points. You want stability at the position. The problem is we currently don’t have that
I would like us to see if we would want to hit those popup hang time kickoffs which are like punts. Maybe we could induce return guys to take a risk and come up short of the touchback line.
But that would require really good ST coaching, which I am not sure we have.
I noticed both kickers allowed KRs yesterday. Each team had 3 KRs. That is rare. Sanders usually gets touchbacks.
I don’t see the huge crisis.
Sanders does not have a history of erratic kicking.
Sanders missed 1 PAT in 2018, 1 PAT in 2019, none in 2020, 1 in 2021.
That’s 3 in 4 years.
That’s 1 out of 36, 1 out of 30, none out of 36, 1 out of 35.
He has missed 3 out of 30 this year, so that’s not good.
But even with 2 misses last game, he is hitting PATs at 96 and a half %.
Last year he was 7th in the NFL in PAT %age. At over 97%
That’s why you don’t panic yet. He has time to clean it up and we have a bye week which could help.
I still find it amazing that Tua is hitting on 78% of his passes over a 7 + game sample.
71% which is still great.
You know the play that I was happy to see yesterday, when he recovered the high snap he just went down and didn’t put himself in harms way. Live for another play.
Sanders extra points kicks don’t bother me too much. He’s been very reliable there, and he clearly has a case of the yips (or whatever it’s called). My problem with Sanders is he really hasn’t been that good in FGs the majority of his career.
He was good his rookie year at 90%, but he only kicked 20 fgs that year and his long was 50.
He was really good in year 3 (2020) at 92.3%. He was a top 3 kicker in the league that year.
He’s been between 74-76% his other three years (including this year), which is not good in today’s NFL.
So he’s had one good year in his last 4 years and two good years out of five in his career.
But, he’s still better than some teams kicker situations. I’d rather have an average kicker than a shitty one. I wouldn’t call Sanders shitty, and there isn’t a better option mid-season, but I want to see competition next year.
The alarming thing with him this year is he has already missed 4 FGs and 3 Xpts. I’m sure it bothers him more than anyone else though.
Yeah, I think he’s definitely in his own head right now, and that is why we’re seeing the missed pats. Hopefully he gets his head right before he costs us a game.
Since getting chubbs the Fins D has been getting real pressure on the QB drop back 44% of the time with only a 4 man rush.
Yeah and then we lose Ogbah. Sigh…
That is awesome, and the Browns line is a good one (they were missing their stud guard though).
I will miss the team playing this weekend but glad they can get the rest and get healthy.
It’ll be a little rough not getting a game, I’m just glad we get to marinate with a win instead of a loss. Makes the week a hell of a lot more fun, AND we still get to root for our team to move into the #1 seed in the conference this week 🙂
What sucks is the stej can take 1st back with a win this week
Do they play the pats?
Yeah, if the Jest win, we move down to #2 in the division and #5 seed in conference. They are at the Pets.
If the Jest lose in NE and the Chiefs lose at Chargers, we’re #1 seed, lol.
We very well might be in third place in the Div when we come back from the bye.
Bills have the Browns this week and the Lions next week
Next Monday we might be going boo-hoo again
Too early to worry about that. We’ve done what we can control so just keep rolling. We’re in good shape. 7-3, 2-1 division and 5-2 conference.
Buffalo is 0-2 in div, so they’d be 3rd
And we beat them.
Maybe Ogbah being out won’t be as big a hit as I feared.
“Ogbah played a season-low 25 defensive snaps against Chicago, the Dolphins’ first game after acquiring Chubb.”
He was injured, came back and got hurt again, this time for the season. We rotated Jenkins and Davis a lot yesterday at NT with Wilkins and Sieler playing a lot at DE/DT. Ogbah played DE/Edge. Chubb, Phillips, Ingram and Van Ginkel are the edge guys now. We need Trey Flowers to get healthy and contribute.
There better not be a moratorium on jersey purchases around here
(Piggy hides)
Do you guys want us to go get another DE like Deforest Buckner?
Not sure how we’ll approach the bye with some of the injuries we’ve had to deal with. I also think this bye week will be an evaluation of what we do well and don’t with who we have. I think the run game with the addition of Wilson is going to become more prominent. Having Ingold and Smythe healthy plays a big role in that. If we can build on the running game we displayed yesterday our offense is going to be very difficult to stop.
Interesting

It looks like the Miami Dolphins are doing what they can to bring a home field advantage to Hard Rock Stadium. I’ve had 2 Fins fans who R season ticket members who’ve been informed they are not eligible to renew. It appears it’s because they aren’t attending many games.
Right or wrong, there are many people who probably aren’t Dolphins fans who purchased season tickets to resell them which is why so many away fans. The team has a wait list for next season & it looks like they want to get in the Fins fans who can attend many of the games.
But this will hurt the die hard Miami Dolphins fans who bought a full season with the intention of attending many of the games but couldn’t go for one reason or another. It looks like the team is taking a stand and wants Hard Rock Stadium filled with Aqua and Orange.
I hear y’all on Jason Sanders, seriously. Like the rest of you, I have concerns. It may be time to bring some competition in.
While it’s certainly not a reflection on Sanders, guess who leads the NFL in extra-point attempts? Jason Sanders (30).
Our Offense is as potent as Antonio Cromartie! LOL
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/leaders.htm
Fond memories of Pigster’s old writes: Cromartie #4,810 and bustin’ on Quinton Coples! 😀
I think the bye week came at the right time for us. We’re in good shape but we need some guys to get healthy and others to up their games. There will be a 7 game playoff stretch. 4-3 at the least.
Not sure how that’s relevant to what I just stated above (LOL), but I DO agree with ya, Bro!!!
The worries about Sanders moving forward led me to it. I think this bye week is a good time for MM and his staff along with Grier and his staff to put the best team on the field for the stretch run. The moment is now regardless of us losing good players. Most teams are dealing with it. The battle of attrition. That’s what football usually comes down to.
Gumbel with this gem: “This Dolphins offense has been cooking…pretty much on all cylinders” LOL
Dude is cooking his dinner on a 5.2-liter V8
lol
I guess that answers that question
The safeties were backed up all the way to Greenland for about a third of the game….lol
In case you guys wanted an illustration

Alright, I follow ya on that. Do ya think that Sanders will benefit from the bye, or should we bring in some competition (put the best team on the field)?
Who are you bringing in to replace Sanders?
I have no idea, man. And I’m not even talking about REPLACING Sanders, just give him some competition. Seems to me that Sanders has lost his competitive edge… or something.
Chris Simms is singing a different tune
Seems to me that Simms is giving the credit to Coach McDaniel, Cheetah, and the Penguin… not so much to Tua, who he says, “making a play now and then”.
No sir… I don’t like Chris Simms
He sucks – you are right, I missed “making a play now and then”
More like making plays every time he touches the ball!
YUP!!!
Tua making a play every now and then. Tua isn’t Jimmy G, he’s more like Steve Young, Chris. LOL
Sounds like a backhanded compliment to me “…Tua making smart decisions and making a play every now and then..”
Sheesh, I was late to that one. This round is on me 🍻
Cheers, Brother!
Pigster,
I just gave ya BIG PROPS at 7:20 PM above. Remember those days back in ’12-13? 😀
I have to try to remember what I was writing in 12-13
I can barely remember last week….lol
You were insanely hilarious with your writing!!! 😀
Pigster, Cav Kong, Hulkster, Mike E, and other Star Wars fans,
Have ya seen “Andor” yet? It’s absolutely BRILLIANT! Last Wednesday’s episode was one of the best.
In certain Star Wars circles, it’s being called some of the best Star Wars ever written… and I concur. That is SAYING something! It’s WAY better than “Kenobi” and “Book of Boba Fett”. Personally, I think it’s better than “The Mandalorian”. Check it out!!!
To be sure, it is the most suspenseful writing EVER done in Star Wars. I’m talking EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, every episode. Alfred Hitchcock would be proud.
And thus far, no Force users, no lightsabers, no ‘magic’. What a great series!
I’ll get around to it at some point, but haven’t watched it yet
I think it will make ya go bananas if ya catch my drift, ya BIG ape! 😉
lol
I might actually start watching it tonight
As Darth Sidious would say… “DO IT!!!“
Does anybody know where our guy Elephant Rider has been? Like Cav Kong and I, he’s about the same age. I hope he’s alright.
Somebody who has his email should reach out to check in on him. He’s a good dude, that ER.
There’s a bunch of people who have been M.I.A., where’s D?
Yeah, man… D’s another one.
Herd let us know about Randy (he was tired of the politics), and I hope he comes back soon being its full-blown football right now!!!
Yeah Randy bailing bummed me out. Who cares what others think? It’s just opinions. So what? How is it any different than any other walk of life?
Son,
A few months ago you made a mention of Jim Bohannon, thinking nobody here knew who he was. I was on vacation at our Naval Base in VA, but I did respond to you a couple of days later, stating that I know who you spoke about.
I noted that I’ve listened to him daily on my commute to work on “America in the Morning”. I also noted that he’d been absent for a time. Sorry to say, he’s passed away, man.
RIP, Jim Bohannon
Here…
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/jim-bohannon-dies-at-78
Around 5:45 or so on ESPN Tony Kornholeheiser announced he’s all in on the TUA FOR MVP movement. Personally, I wouldn’t allow Kornhole within 50 yards of our star quarterback. But it IS VERY INTERESTING to see that so many members of the sports media are carefully watching our team when, just 2 years ago, we couldn’t attract flies to a dead piece of meat.
LOL
The Miami Dolphins control their own destiny. We don’t have to rely on anyone. Take care of your own business and win games. Tua has a knack for that. 🙂
Just keep winning
Yep
Although I do want the Patriots to beat the Jets next week. Then I will need to go take a shower
SO FAR, the Washington Deadskins are giving the Eagles a competitive game on Monday Night Football. They trail the Pilly 14-10 in the second quarter.
For the 50th year, the champagne is on ice. However, in Larry Csonka’s house, I’d guess it is something stronger.
This has been the story of the NFL season. Lots of parity.
Entertaining game so far
Washington leads “Pilly” 20-14 at halftime on the strength of a 57-yard FG at the buzzer! The ’72 Dolphins’ party just got noisier!!!
This cracked me up yesterday from the game in Munich.
#almostheaven #countryroads
Should have been Broncos playing in Munich, I guess. 😉
3rd best passer rating over the last decade is pretty good
I like Washington’s helmets a lot
Just me?
Quite nice, in a Sesame Street kind of way. “W is for ___” lol.
I think BBMike was a big fan of Gibson when he was in college? Right?
I would love to keep watching this game but I have to be up early tomorrow. Peace
There is no easy game on the schedule.
Agreed. We cannot overlook any opponent.
No team can. The Browns destroy the Bengals and then we destroy the Browns. The Bills are not invincible. The Chiefs are the Chiefs with Mahomes. But now we can score with them. 🙂
Sucks so bad that we’ve lost Ogbah for the season. With fortune, we’ll get Flowers back and healthy after the bye to replace him. And who knows… perhaps we’ll even get a healthy Byron Jones and a rejuvenated X as well!
Yes… our Offense is going to score with the best of them!
HELL YEAH!!!
facemask
a 55 yarder and 58 yarder in same game. What is the emoji for ‘jealous’?
Washington gets 3 takeaways…. 1972 boys have had champagne on ice… now they are getting the glasses ready.
POP THE CORKS!!!
EAGLES LOSE!!!
I’m sorry, what were we talking about? 🫣
I guess she really likes the 72 Dolphins!
🐬 🥂 🍾
And then there were none
Hurts for MVP only if they go undefeated
Mahomes is probably the favorite now
Tua right behind him though IMO
the irony … considering our last win of 1972 season. lol
Por fador Larry
Love how he’s wearing his SB ring. I hope he enjoyed his not so wee dram! Sadly, the group celebrating gets thinned every year by father time and no doubt age restricts group get-togethers too.
Fins dominate
Bills lose
Last undefeated team loses
pretty damn good football weekend. Only thing else that could have made it better is if Jets and Pats team planes had a mid-air collision (jk)

— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) November 14, 2022
I love me some Baldy Wyo. He is the personification of the NFL for me. I never heard Art Donovan speak (I’ve got his book and the stories in it are hilarious) – Baldy is a modern day offensive equivalent with a “well-used” face and a voice that sounds like a “life well lived”. This clip perfectly illustrates what this ball watcher missed to some extent as the slo-mo coupled with the analysis reveals so much more. I know it’s the oldest cliche in football, but instead of making a bucket load of mistakes on each play, be they penalties, mis-communication or whatever, now we are getting “a hat on a hat”. But it’s not just on the O line, it’s everywhere on the field. And that’s why so many plays are going for longer gains than they ever did in the past. We are starting to look like the teams we used to envy!!!
Of course the culture starts with the coach.
Tua on head coach Mike McDaniel: “He gets the feel of the players in the locker room. He’s a man of the people. He has no ego.”
And this is what you get:
“I was happy with the way everyone put their head down and was grinding to earn that result,” Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said of his team’s season-high rushing output in the post match presser.
Yesterday:
Coach on WR blocking: It’s not a coincidence. You’re breaking these long TDs because guys are committing to the process and having the desire and determination to not let the person they’re in phase with to be a part of the tackle. It’s cool.
Coach on making 2022 a year to remember: You can’t control ultimate outcomes. I’m not worried about that… you get out exactly what you put in. You’ll make 2022 memorable if you and a collection of other induvial decide to invest as much as you’ve ever invested in your craft.
For me though, what he said post-match exemplified in such a simple sentence, why we are now being talked about as a serious threat.
Mike McDaniel: “You can do a ton of really cool things in the National Football League if you somehow get an entire building, an entire roster to move in one direction. And that is way, way easier said than done.” In his first year, though, that’s exactly what he’s done and why we are having this level of success imho.
LONG LIVE THE LEGEND OF THE ONE-AND-ONLY PERFECT SEASON!!
Had my own little celebration this morning. Now it’s time to grab one more hour’s sleep before getting up at 6:30.
————-
It’s gonna be another GREAT DAY IN DOLPHIN LAND!!
50 years and counting OD! Cheers
Don’t know if anyone follows him, but Joe_W was a massive Tua doubter, and to some extent, a Parcells advocate in terms of prototype size trumps all, preferring Herbert.
Like a lot of folk, he is now seeing the light!
As we’ve discussed at length here, the emergence of the running game has been very well timed too.
Pigster, Cav Kong, Hulkster, Mike E, and other Star Wars fans,

Yep M – just started the last episode updated on “Cinema” now. Love it. Hooked on all Star Wars stuff since being at college in a Universe a long, long time ago! No spoilers please.
For those not in the know and with a Firestick, Cinema is a brilliant App to load if you have a decent connection speed on the web. It has series and movie links on it, usually multiple links of differing video quality levels but most HD. It can buffer, but it’s free! There is some crossover between Cinema and Mancave on the Platinum App I’ve mentioned on here before – usually feeds are better on Mancave + guaranteed links for VOD.
For example, all Star Wars spin-offs on Cinema, Rings of Power, etc etc. You’d be mad not to get it! I stream absolutely everything now.
Cinema HD APK Download v2.4.0 & v2.3.7.4 (Official) (cinemahdapkapp.com)
By the way Kong, NFL replay on Platinum is now ad free. It’s on a continuous loop so you can’t choose when to start it, but check it out – it may save you some $ on NFL+ if it gives you what you want? All games on there for a week but only last game for each team available.
Very well said, uk, and worth looking back, imo:

I completely agree. He is real which fosters an team effort/culture…a rising tide phenomenon, one might say, too.
Absolutely Krishna. In Flores’ day, it seemed like every man for himself, and to say we were rarely on the same page as a team would be an understatement. Now we seem to be operating like a collective. In some ways it reminds me of the Borg from Star Trek. No co-incidence that their motto was “resistance is futile”. 😉
The collective….resistance is futile. That brings me back…lol.
From a sports perspective, it creates a collective energy with the fans, community, and team, as well…a buzz, an energy.
Sorry to trash this moment with a Flores comment, but really the man was about him as the “leader” and “dictates” the terms. Leaders don’t dictate, they lead.
Champagne 🥂 🍾 !😃
Never thought Eagles were good enough to go undefeated but worried that their schedule was pretty easy
TOTALLY AGREE, KEN! Only the 2007 Patriots team has come close to another Perfect Season. However, their “Perfect Season” would always be surrounded by questions like “How much did they cheat to go undefeated?”
Woohoo 🥂🍾💥👀
Thanks for the update M13
RIP Jim Bohannon
Herd, will the Marshall crowd send back a nice chorus of Edelweiss?
Well, it was written by Americans, so I’ll allow it, but being a HUGE pedant, in the film it was sung by an Austrian loyalist, who hated the Nazis and loved his homeland, which he fled over the border from, so he could spend the rest of his days eating Toblerones . Edelweiss is the national flower of Austria too. As you are a direct descendent of Shula and his perfect season remains intact, let’s agree on a no harm no foul call? 😉
That’s fine but what else would they sing?
In Band of Brothers they came across some German soldiers that had edelweiss attached to their lapel. They had been high up in the mountains.
It’s not like West Virginia has anything to do with Tampa or Seattle either
All points well made!
My vote would go to
GOT UP THIS MORNING wearing a Dolphins’ shirt and showing off my huge grin of utter happiness!!

The sign of a good coach/leader/boss/manager is that he/she makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Flores couldn’t do that, MM is doing it right in front of our very eyes.
The perfect season was great, but it is irrelevant to winning the Super Bowl this year.

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-miami-dolphins-jaelan-phillips-next-great-edge-rusher
“Phillips has already created more pressures, hurries and run stops through Week 10 of this year than he had all of last year despite playing 132 fewer snaps thus far. And if you dig into the numbers even further, you’ll find that Phillips has really improved over the past month.”
“Since Week 6, Phillips has totaled 28 pressures and four sacks with a 25.4% win rate. That pressure total ranks second over that span, behind only Za’Darius Smith (32).”
“Phillips is also the sixth-highest-graded edge defender in that time (86.0), ahead of Defensive Player of the Year favorite Micah Parsons, who was selected ahead of him in the 2021 NFL Draft. And if you look even further back, he’s the fifth-highest-graded edge rusher in the NFL (88.8) since Week 4.”

Boo, keep the streak!
Piggy, yes, I wanted us to draft RB Antonio Gibson. He was a RB/WR/PR/KR in college. He’s 6’2 220 and runs a 4.39. He rushed for over 1000 yards last season but is doing more split carries this year.
I feel if he was in a different system much like the zone system he played in at Memphis, he would be putting up much bigger #’s.
Plus, they have Brian Robinson now. He is more of a pounding RB Washington likes.

2 weeks ago we were wondering how the DE/Edge snap counts would be distributed, this week it’s who’s going to replace Ogbah
Seems we played 7 without Chubb and didn’t have a problem, we can play 7 without Ogbah, he wasn’t doing much anyways
The passrush of Ingram, Chubb, Phillips and Wilkins had a party at times at the QB, I expect to see that a lot more next 7 weeks +
This 12 y/o kid’s breakdowns are better than 95% of the paid analysts out there.
Can’t believe he’s describing our offense after the Rocky Horror show of last year. Wish the kid wasn’t trying to break the speed speaking record though. My ear is not used to tuning into that high-pitched squeak at machine gun pace. Smh.
Lol at 12 yr old kid
Enjoyed that so much I’ve subscribed to the channel. Got to be MM’s nephew?
Awesome…suing because you got hurt playing a dangerous game.
IDK seems like there’s negligence there
Don’t run out of bounds
Lol
Why should the NFL and their partners be exempt from a lawsuit?
It’s the 1 thing we, the common man, have left against big business, big govt…
It has been tried before but without success
I did a little check and there is precedent to Sue the league for injury. It is used to be barred under assumption of the risk but that defense is no longer readily available. There is an issue of preemption under the CBS but the Orlando Brown case held that doesn’t apply to state tort claims. Orlando Brown was allowed to Sue when he got hit in the eye by a bean bag when the ref was throwing a penalty flag. I think this lawsuit is allowed
Ima repost this, ‘cause it’s still true…
“ Here at PFF, you’ll often see our social team pose the question, “Who’s stopping this offense?” When Tua is playing as he has over the past two weeks with a 95.4 passing grade, when Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are healthy and when Mike McDaniel is dialing it up, the answer is: no one.‘
Best game I can remember from Roberts, he laid the boom several times

Just a beauty contest, not much to say, just enjoy
Bill Belichick’s belief that a good coach can be moved to any position — even if his primary background is on the other side of the football — is being put to the test. One of Belichick’s primary concerns has to be that QB Mac Jones, after a promising rookie season, hasn’t taken the expected Year 2 jump. Belichick thinks highly of Patricia, who will likely always have a spot on his staff, but the results to date spark questions about whether Patricia’s current position is the right fit. — Mike Reiss
Whatever happened to the Mac vs Tua debate🤣
We’ve been good against RBs rushing at about 75 ypg, horrible against 5 QBs 404 yards, 240 ypg passing against is ok , 21st in yards 22nd in pts
Pts are somewhat skewed, because we’ve scored a lot, so teams have to keep up
Have we finally turned the corner on D?
Or was last week an aberration?

Yep M – just started the last episode updated on “Cinema” now. Love it. Hooked on all Star Wars stuff since being at college in a Universe a long, long time ago! No spoilers please.

I promise you and everybody, you’ll NEVER get spoilers from me: that would be terrible for anyone to do.
The Force is STRONG with ya, UK!!! 😀

I can see clearly that you and I are on the same wavelength, my friend! Star Trek: The Next Generation is one of my very favorite series ever created. I’m back to rewatching it nightly after about a decade of not viewing it. I’d purchased all 7 seasons on DVD two decades ago and it’s quite the pleasure to revisit it.
I’ve always thought that the franchise should bring back or revisit some of the baddies from the past. For instance: the being that took Tasha Yar’s life in season 1.
Sidenote: I am NO fan of modern-day Whoopie Goldberg, but her performance as “Guinan” was just absolutely amazing and enthralling, IMO.
Oh, and I can do a rather good impression of Wharf what with my voice.
It’s okay to respect someone’s entertainment performance from their politics.
Ah shit, Russian missile hit NATO country Poland killing 2 people.
Ut oh!
I was just 4 miles over the border from Ukraine into Poland.
Are you serious, Clark?
It not I, lol
LOL
Everybody should go vote for pro bowl. See the link Piggy provided above.
And he doesn’t mean sausage link! jerks
lol, the timing of the Browns signing Stille really does feel like an eff you from them.
Well we destroyed them on the LOS so they had to do something. 🙂
Perspective on the perfect season…lol

Perfect!
Is it Sunday yet? 😡🤢
It’s the BYE week
I know 😡🔥
Hulk need football
We need the bye to gear up for the 7 game run. Some guys are banged up and could use a week off. Get healthier, clear their heads a bit and rejuvenate.
I make you bet the team wants to line up on Sunday instead of sitting with a bye. 4 game win streak. No way they want a bye
I just think it came at the right time. Every team gets a bye.
It’s almost criminal that the Browns hurt our only listed DE then stole his backup.
We could have moved him up to the roster if we wanted to
Good thing we play worst team in league in case we come out a bit flat.
9:00 EST: the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.
No, it’s not about LeBum James and his non-essential, clown life.
Yeah here we go again. 😦
????
Hint: I’m not into the cult of personality.
CM PUNK ??
And I don’t like the status quo, where WE THE PEOPLE are being robbed. The ‘duopoly’ is killing us, Bro.
That means FUCK the RINOs Mitch McConnell (the TURTLE), Kevin McCarthy, and Ronna McDaniel (GOP Chair, and Mitt Romney’s niece).
I am thrilled. Best news for the Democrats all day
The USA is going to be in turmoil for the next 2 years. Not like we’re not there already. But it will be worse.
We should rename our country The States of America.
We have gone through similar periods of turmoil before. It’s really not the new or different
I have not lived in a time with such a cult figure. The hardcore Trump supporters want him to be president as long as he is alive. That’s not how America is supposed to work.
People said the same thing about FDR. They amended the Constitution because of him
I actually think the results of the midterms is a sign that things are starting to come together. A definite rejection of the extreme right wing populist branch of the Republican Party. Some signs of a return to normalcy
The same with the left wing nut jobs. Balance is good.
Exactly it was a definite swing towards the middle
Yet they are all unvetted. That’s unprecedented in our country’s history. And it occurs at a time when we don’t want to spread disease (COVID, for instance) and in an age of terrorism.
A 6 to 1 ratio is MPV ville.
👍
Anyone who has ever been a part of the outside zone run and play-action game has said if you haven’t done it before it takes awhile to learn it. It’s a machine where all things have to work right. Maybe we’re getting there. 🙂
Aside from the trade for ‘Reek Da Cheetah, I’ve gotta say… the Jeff Wilson trade was absolutely GOLD! And yes, our O-Line has gelled on time for our running game.
It may be more important than Chubb
Yessir!!!
I said exactly this during the game Sunday. What he brings to the run game could just take us past the tipping point
TBH, I’d initially thought the trade for Wilson was a wash. WOAH! I was dearly mistaken!
I loved it the moment I heard. Huge upgrade over Edmonds
I never understood why we picked up Edmonds to begin with. What a GREAT trade!
Mostert and Wilson are interchangeable. It’s a perfect pair. Ingold and Smythe are a big part of that. We need them healthy to block.
