    RIP — Christine McVie
    —————
    That sucks. RIP, Christine McVie.

Fleetwood Mac Rumors was one of my first albums. I played the crap out of it!

  3. Mike E. says:

No question, plenty of talent on that group

  4. bailbondmike says:

Phelon, will do! Not sure if it will be before the Jets game or after.

  5. The Flying Pig says:

Kansas City scored 44 points on the 49ers a little over a month ago

    • steveccnv says:

SF’s D isn’t invincible, but you better be able to match up with them

We did with Clev and some other good pass rush teams recently, but not so good 2nd half last week

  6. boulderfinfan says:

SoI decided to fly to San Fran and go to the game this weekend. Bout the tickets and everything last night. Gonna meet Jahn there. Finsmob will be represented:)

  7. ukfinfan says:

This can never be underestimated. I seriously wonder if Flores is re-evaluating his approach now. He royally fecked up. So far wrong, the scale ended but he just kept on going.

  8. son of a son of a shula says:

    Happy Birthday 🐽
Everyone eat pork to celebrate Piggy’s birthday

  9. naplesfan2010 says:

    Texans, Bears, Broncos, and Falcons
    1-8-1, 3-9, 3-8, and 5-7

    all beat the
    9rs.

    • Rhino says:

All those losses were in first 6 games of season, and I think they are a much better team now BUT …

… their current 4 game win streak vs opponents with combined record of:
      17-29

Fins 5 game streak vs opponents with record of:
      16-39-1

I think both of these teams are taking care of teams they SHOULD beat but the win streaks lack signature wins. December will really show us where we are at, especially without Armstead for much of the month.

    • steveccnv says:

Texans beat the Jags for their 1 wins the next game, KC was their other loss

Bears won the opener on a sloppy wet field and no Garo Polo, the Donkies loss was when they were playing great D, Falcons loss SF had some key injuries

Like I mentioned they aren’t invincible, but are hot now

  10. Mike E. says:

    Happy Birthday Piggy!

  11. naplesfan2010 says:

    Happy Birthday, Piggy.
Just celebrate the whole rest of the week.

I have a couple minutes before work … so Happy Birthday Piggy. I read regularly even if I don’t have time to get involved in the line of discussion that day, and your unique sense of humor is a defining characteristic of this blog!

and now, Ken has the shower water running in preparation of having to cheer for the Pats for the 2nd week in a row. lol

  15. CavalierKong says:

    Happy B-Day, Piggy!

  16. CavalierKong says:

Dang, the Tobas, Jahn, and Boulder are all going to the Niners game. I’m bummed we are going to miss it.

  17. The Flying Pig says:

    Thanks guys

Don’t eat pork to celebrate though jerks!

  18. Rockphin says:

    Happy BDay Piggy

  19. Rockphin says:

I am having a pulled pork sandwich with added bacon for lunch today in honor of Piggy’s Bday today.

He doesn’t like me bringing this up, but in the US a “Pig” is under 120lbs. If you are over 120lbs you are a hog. Our friend has been a hog for a long time now….

      😉

  21. Rockphin says:

70-80% chance of rain in Santa Clara, CA this Sunday. I hope it doesn’t adversely effect our play. They have a pretty good D, I hope we can run on them…

  24. ukfinfan says:

    Fla. residents ………. thoughts?

    • Rockphin says:

where they point to alligators, it is really American Salt water Crocs. The Gators are there the retired 401K people are.

    • naplesfan2010 says:

      LOL
      That’s actually fairly accurate,
especially since my area says Retired people on pensions.

The ? area is part of South Georgia. (Jacksonville)

The “college kid” area up north is also home of prisons.
Wait, not making a comment on UF players or anything …

  25. Rockphin says:

Man, I forgot that the Bills and Pats play TONIGHT. I might have to turn on Amazon tonight…..

  26. naplesfan2010 says:

Chubb says the key to beating the 9rs is to play physical.
He’s already beaten them when he was with the Broncos.
SF only got 10 points in that game and lost 11-10.

  27. naplesfan2010 says:

    (gag) Go pats. (acid reflux)

  28. ukfinfan says:

    I’ve run a bleach bath ……………..
    I’ve filled the flame-thrower …………
I’ve covered myself in honey and kicked a killer ants nest ………….
    I’ve kicked a sleeping croc …………
    I’ve joined a lemmings appreciation club ………..

so for one night, and one night only …………..

  29. naplesfan2010 says:

SF’s one bright spot against the Broncos was Jeff Wilson,
who rushed for 75 yards on 6.2 ypc
    and caught 3 for 31, 10.3 ypc.

But … he’s no longer playing for the 9rs.

Deebo had 5 rushes for 6 yards.
Kittle had 4 catches for 28 yards.
    I’ll take that.

Jimmy G threw a pick (and a TD).
They gave up 4 sacks. (Chubb got 1.)

They also got 4 sacks. (Bosa got 1.)

    • steveccnv says:

      We don’t have Denver’s physical D

      • naplesfan2010 says:

Roberts and Holland and Kohou WILL
knock the snot out of somebody.
        As will Rowe.

        Now that we have Chubb,
Ingram and Phillips are freer to pin ’em back and just hit.

I look for van Ginkel to make another clean-up play as well.

      • steveccnv says:

You’re not comparing apples to apples

  30. steveccnv says:

Thought tonight’s game was a huge disadvantage game for the Cheats, forgot they too played last on Thanksgiving

  31. naplesfan2010 says:

    However,
we can’t let Jimmy G go wild for 4 TDs like he did vs. Arizona.

He completed 4 for 84 and 2 TDs to Kittle.
    uh oh

    Beyond that, he hit
7 for 57 to deebs and 7 for 67 to CmC.

The other problem is he threw 2 TDs
on 2 catches for 20 to Aiyuk.

No one else caught a pass, though.

  32. steveccnv says:

Last time we played Jimmy G, we kicked his ass, but he was coming off of an injury

Think we put 8 in the box to start the game and make him throw

Of course we’ll change it up, giving the appearance of always having 8 up

  33. steveccnv says:

Another key for Tua and the Dolphins against the 49ers will be the ability to recognize and accept when a pass play won’t succeed and act accordingly.

It’s exactly what Tua in the second quarter against Houston on a third-and-10 when he was flushed out of the pocket and eventually threw the ball out of bounds. The Dolphins punted and two plays later Andrew Van Ginkel had his interception to set up a touchdown.

It’s also a good comparison of Allen, as Allen hasn’t always gotten out of a play by throwing it away, like he did against Detroit

Not throwing it away is one thing that’s made Allen dangerous in the past, this year its cost him big time in the red zone

    • naplesfan2010 says:

True, a punt is almost always better than an INT, mainly because a pick can be a psychological momentum changer.

  34. naplesfan2010 says:

3 Dolphins lead their position in pro bowl voting:
    Ingold, Armstead, and Hill

  35. CavalierKong says:

    Von Miller to IR

  36. CavalierKong says:

Not sure if this will be readable. Thursday injury report:

    • CavalierKong says:

Davis and Baker both moved from limited to full.
      Bridgewater and Mostert both limited.
      Armstead, Gaskin, Jackson DNP
      Ingram vet rest

  37. boulderfinfan says:

    Toba,
    Just emailed you

  38. manitobafinfan says:

    👍👍 got it and replied

  39. stangerx says:

“Look, I’d love to finish the season out, but I understand this is a business and there’s a lot of us kind of older guys who play a decent amount and they might want to see some younger guys play. Hopefully we don’t have to have that conversation. But if that conversation comes up, I’ll approach that with an open mind and without any bitterness or resentment. Obviously, like I said, I want to win out and we don’t have to have those conversations. I understand if we don’t that’s a possibility to have that conversation.”

    — Aaron Rodgers, who a signed a four-year, $200 million contract extension last offseason. Sounds like he’s up for not playing against the Phins and just cashing the paycheck.

  40. ukfinfan says:

    Nogtih all

  41. boulderfinfan says:

Happy birthday piggy! Hope you have a fantastic day.

  42. Sorry folks I’m trying to figure out what’s going on.

  43. Ken says:

Gotta get my Mac Jones jersey out of the wash 🧽

  44. I’m a little worried about our OL against SF. We might need some creative game planning.

  45. UK, I see you just signed off but I saw your reply to my post last week and it was well thought out and appreciated.

  46. The Flying Pig says:

Hey Tim. Are you able to log in okay these days?

  47. Is Armstead playing this week?

  48. On defense we need to be on our best tackling because the 49ers have skill players not easy to tackle.

  49. son of a son of a shula says:

Hey mother fucking Amazon why do I have to push five enters to get the broadcast of you’re prized NFL game when it’s the opening screen and you asked “watch?” And I said yes it still makes me enter four more times. 🖕

    • Krishna says:

Dude, I’m still trying figure out the type of whore the NFL has become…..

      I can’t even fathom Amazon in sports…WTF?

  50. son of a son of a shula says:

I’m not calling you Thy mother fucker but glad you’re on.

  51. Mike E. says:

Wow, looks like someone formal is able to post now, Good shit!

  52. Mike E. says:

Let’s go PATRIOTS!!! See, it’s not that hard to do

  53. son of a son of a shula says:

    Son’s gut feeling:
MM had an epiphany with our run game during the weeks between Cleveland and Houston and didn’t want to show Shanahan anything last week and just threw it and threw to stay out of what he wants to do against SF. Mostert as th said could have played, him Wilson fixing to go off. Hill will have a HUGE game as a result.

    Fins 28
    Niners 16

    Suck it

  55. mf13ss says:

    YUGE game this evening!

Let’s go Patsies* (just threw up in the back of my mouth)!!!

  56. mf13ss says:

Fun fucking fact: DeVante Parker leads the NFL in YPC with 20.0.

  57. The Flying Pig says:

All I want for my birthday is a tie game tonight

  58. mf13ss says:

    YO! Happy B-Day, Pigster!!!

  59. son of a son of a shula says:

Piggs, love you buddy ❤️ Hope you had a great day. You rock 🐧🐆🐽😁🐬

  60. Ken says:

    Jones to Jones woohoo

  61. mf13ss says:

Marcus Jones to the house for the Patsies*!!!

  62. mf13ss says:

Friendly reminder: the Bills are 0-2 in our division beginning this evening. If they lose to the Patsies*, they will be 0-3 in our division… meaning if we lose to them, we’d win the tie-break with them.

Yes, we should ALL be rooting for the Patsies* tonight.

  63. mf13ss says:

Al Michaels: “And the players have REALLY bought into it”…

    Very awkward, just sayin’….

  64. herdfan says:

    Happy Birthday Piggy! 🐷 🎂🎉

  65. Ken says:

    Allen is just too physical

    • mf13ss says:

Somebody needs to punch him in his face (figuratively, not literally). Once he gets stung, he’s not going to want to freelance run again.

  66. The Flying Pig says:

So this game is over right? No way patriots can overcome two scores

  67. The Flying Pig says:

    Ken

    Why is a tie bad?

I realize 8-4 for the bills is better than 8-3-1 but it’s not much

And the patriots drop to 6-5-1 so they are virtually knocked out of playoffs

When you are battling for playoff positions – ties are often fatal to a team

What if the Bills lost to the patriots and the bills drop to 8-4 but patriots jump to 7-5

And then we lose two games of our next 3

All of the sudden we are battling to get in the playoffs instead of just rooting the bills shoot themselves in the foot for the division

  68. The Flying Pig says:

Can’t believe Josh Allen wasn’t intercepted on either of those last two passes

  69. The Flying Pig says:

    😂 at that screen pass

  70. Ken says:

    Jones is looking like crap

  71. steveccnv says:

Palardy with another 30 yard punt

  72. mf13ss says:

Yes, that was a BLATANT DPI on the Bills!

  73. The Flying Pig says:

    Al Michaels is getting old

  74. Ken says:

    Well that sucked

  75. Either way one team in the AFC East takes a step back.

  76. Ken says:

That’s it I have to burn my Mac Jones jersey

  77. Ken says:

  78. Ken says:

  79. steveccnv says:

If we can’t win the next 3 Cheats losing tonight might be a good thing

  80. Ken says:

I have watched enough. Bills are good. Pat’s mediocre

  81. We knew the Bills were the team to beat. The Pats going to 6-6 is kind of predictable. The Jets are the wildcard. We control our own destiny and we literally have a tough road ahead.

  82. son of a son of a shula says:

I wish the Bills lost but it doesn’t break my heart to see the patsies get ther ass whooped either

  83. The Pats need 3 scores and they’re killing the clock on themselves.

  84. Rhino says:

fuck the Patriots … ask ’em for ONE simple favor ………

  85. manitobafinfan says:

And yes Mac Jones looks like shit

  86. It’s still the Bills we have to beat.

    • New Age says:

At least 4 years of it while eating massive inflation.

    • Ken says:

If that is the most embarrassing thing our President has done then we are in a much better place than we were 4 years ago

      • pheloniusphish says:

Please…Trump was embarrassing enough with his adolescent ego. But to put a frail, senile old man on the world stage as the leader of the free world borders on elder abuse. And if you are okay with Biden and will overlook all the things that are wrong, you are every bit the same kind of party zealot that supports Trump blindly.

  87. New Age says:

Patriots are not a very good team….and I love it. I hate that we are in the hardest division in football right as we’re getting good but maybe iron will sharpen iron? I’d rather have what the Patriots did for most of the past 2 decades but at least we’re fun to watch and competitive again.

    • pheloniusphish says:

They are not good. The two headed offensive coordinator is working as well there as it did in Miami under Flores. They will have pretty much ruined Mac Jones by seasons end.

  88. Ken says:

  89. Ken says:

  90. ukfinfan says:

This is amusing. If coach goes down, next man up?

  91. ukfinfan says:

Still never forgiven the 69ers (sic) for that Superbowl.

  92. pheloniusphish says:

Drew Brees struck by lightning while filming a commercial. What marrons standing around in a lightning storm.
