I posted an article about this the other day. Not surprised to see they suspended him.
Jaire Alexander is being suspended because he went out for coin toss on Sunday even though he was not a captain, and then nearly botched the call. https://t.co/0GwOESQ2uj
I can’t watch the guy because he’s weird and annoying. He’s a shock jock who thinks his opinion is very potent.

Now unlike the ’10 Chargers, we’ve proven we can win in the clutch, we can win close games, and we can hang with the best teams in the league.
Remember… if it weren’t for the freak ‘Reek fumble returned for a TD when we played the Chefs* in Germany, we probably would have beaten the returning Super Bowl champs earlier in the season.
M13, you made a good point why historical stats mean nothing in the present. Every day is different. Different people are involved.
I wasn’t aware of the 2010 Chargers being #1 on both sides of the ball and not making the playoffs. Something very bizarre happened there and of course it was them.😂
Tua is on the injury report with injuries to his quad and left thumb. That thumb injury might explain why he seemed just a bit off on a number of throws throughout the game.
I heard Holland on QAM today. He seems a real great guy. Maybe it was out already but he had two MCL sprains. He’s getting better and working out but when asked if he was a go against the Ravens he said “I always say I’m ready, but then been saying that the last 3 weeks.” I wouldn’t count on him but he is getting close.

Unfortunately I don’t have a recording of it. I was watching “Dolphins Today” on Bally Sports and at the end of the show they were showing highlights and as they were setting up to kick the finial FG he was strutting as he does on the sideline, except he was 2′ into the field of play, along with one of his assistants.
I’ve seen teams / coaches walk on the field as the clock runs out often as the game is ostensibly over but that was not the case. The final play had not snapped yet.

But it doesn’t matter. We will both be on the road as wildcards.
———-
EARTH to HULKSTER! That’s why we want the Brownies* to lose! We needn’t be on the road as wildcards!
Is just that the Ravens crushed the 49ers last week, so to think they’d lose 2 in a row afterwards…that’s pretty crazy, but hope the week 17 results happen
We wanted and needed the Jets to win last night. Don’t know how more obvious that could be.
Yes, if we lose out, we would be on the road as a WC team anyway BUT, with a Browns win we will be more than likely on the road to face Buffalo again in Buffalo as the Chiefs would have the better conference record than the Bills if the Chiefs win out.
A Browns loss would have more than likely made us the #1 WC and on the road to face either the JAGS, Colts or Texans.
IF this happens, we will be in Buffalo and the future cast shows high of 32 and snow that first playoff weekend in Buffalo.
Sound familiar from January of this year? It will be Groundhog Day.
So Maine takes Trump off the ballot. That’s some seriously dangerous shit right there! Not that Trump could win a liberal shithole like Maine in the first place, but states can’t decide who people can or can’t vote for. I suppose people who want to vote for Trump can write his name in on a ballot which would then likely mysteriously disappear anyway.
Technically states do have the right as to who can be on the ballot. Now I agree this could be setting a dangerous precedent but it is a state’s rights issue and they do have that right
I didn’t say they don’t have the right, I said they shouldn’t! My interpretation is that the people elect the President, not some fucking election official!
I assumed the state was just like its most famous person, Stephen King. I have to tell you, I’m a huge Stephen King fan, have dozens of his books, but his last one, he’s laying the politics on pretty heavy, and this could easily be the last book of his I buy, which is sad.
Something tells me that if Hunt, Jackson, Holland, Waddle, etc are close and could play this weekend, MM is going to sit them anyway and give them one more week to rest/heal before the week 18 showdown.
I not seeing it as people are assuming we are going to lose the next two but rather seeing it as a possibility. Which it is very possible we could lose the next two.

Waddle like out Sunday. No real surprise there
Not with a high ankle sprain. Only positive is does not seem to be a severe one. He could still be out till the playoffs though.
Our O is still doing well, but not lapping the league like it was in the first half of the season. But hard to complain about 6th best in total yards.
“But they’ve cooled off a bit since Week 8, averaging 367 yards per game over the past two months, sixth-most in the NFL.”
I just read an article on PBP that had a round up of the “Professionals pics” 10 out of 11 picked the Ravens. Hell, I am picking the Ravens!

Michah Parsons is a great player but man he can be a chatty whiny bitch too.
Sunday’s showdown is a matchup of the NFL’s No. 1 and No. 2 pass rushes. The Ravens have the NFL’s most sacks (54) through 16 weeks. But they’re ahead of the Dolphins, who have 52, only because someone on Miami’s defense lets a sack slip through his fingers seemingly every game.
The Dolphins rank first in pressure rate (28.7%), have the NFL’s most QB hits (129), and the league’s top quarterback knockdown rate (13%).
Dolphins are also eighth in missed tackles on the season (100).
Not good when it comes to getting Lamar Jackson down.
A lot of that was earlier in the year. Our tackling has been better 2nd half of the season.
No Dolphins player personifies that dynamic more than Bradley Chubb, who leads the league with six forced fumbles, has 11 sacks, 21 QB hits, 31 pressures — and 12 missed tackles.
Fangio suggested Thursday that Jackson should prepare for a ton of different looks on Sunday.
Oh yeah, 4 man rush, 3 man max coverage with a spy, blitz-man/zone. We’re 5th against the run so I think we can handle their running game.
Rock,
The Ravens are 22nd in the league against the rush in YPC. If the game is close, we should be able to move the ball against them.
Remember when we made Lamar cry with the zero package or the amoeba D?
Ppl act like Ravens are invincible or completely outclass Miami,
but haven’t we beaten them twice in a row?
Quite correct: Tua is 2-0 when playing against the Ravens.
Yes, but he torched the cover 0 the last time and our offense had that insane 4th quarter. We don’t play cover 0 under Fangio.
The key on defense is to pressure Lamar often and tackle him when he leaves the pocket. He makes them a unique team when he’s running the ball.
^
I think Fangio is very unpredictable, part of what makes him such a Defensive mastermind. Ravens may think our D is going to play ‘classic’, but Lamar just might get punched in the mouth.
I sense a spy on nearly every play this Sunday.
And I sense Brandon Jones is going to have another big day.
That takes a man away from coverage or pass rush, which we can the defense overall.
Rockphin,
The spy can come from any position… and it won’t ever come from the same position in any kind of regularity. That will keep Lamar guessing all game long, my friend.

What good does it do for the Brown’s to lose?
Nothing. We have already clinched a playoff spot. It is irrelevant for us
If we want to have a higher seed than the Brownies*, we want them to lose… especially in the event we lose to the Ravens this week.
It really doesn’t matter. All the wildcards play on the road.
And should we lose to the Bills in the last week of the season, you’d be happy the Brownies* lose tonight.
They can jump us in record. We haven’t won 12 yet.
^
Thank you, Tim.
I’d assumed everybody understood as much.
But it doesn’t matter. We will both be on the road as wildcards.
If Balt loses out, Clev wins out and we lose to the Bills Clev gets #1 seed, if we lose out and get a WC we could also be behind them, but…
I don’t see all of that happening, so I’d rather Clev stay ahead of Buffalo
Anyone watching the dominant Jets defense?🤣

EARTH to HULKSTER! That’s why we want the Brownies* to lose! We needn’t be on the road as wildcards!
What happens in this game has no impact on us winning the division. It only matters for wildcard seeding
Ken, higher seed is better. What about the next round?
If you’re a WC you most likely will be on the road every round
Win one of our next 2 and get a home game no matter what. F the Jets. This game doesn’t affect us
Doesn’t matter anyways, because J E T S, suck, suck suck tonight
Joe Flacco is KILLING it! WOW!
It’s crazy what he’s been doing
Unbelievable
The new fad will be FA QBs sitting out until someone has an injury late in the season
We jinxed him
I’m enjoying the ineptitude of the J-E-T-S
Well even a blind squirrel
Always a good thing
Quinnen Williams had that look like WTF am I doing on this team😜
It was the look of ultimate suffering
😝

This is WILD…The path to the #1 Seed for Cleveland doesn’t seem that crazy:
▫️The Browns need the Ravens to lose out & the Browns need to win out to win the AFC North
▫️If this happens & Dolphins lose in Week 18 vs BUF, Browns would finish as the #1 seed in the AFC.
Is just that the Ravens crushed the 49ers last week, so to think they’d lose 2 in a row afterwards…that’s pretty crazy, but hope the week 17 results happen
Cleveland doesn’t want to put this game away and the jets don’t want to get back into it
After setting a record for 1st half pts, no pts in 18 minutes since
WTF, down 3 scores 17 pts kick the FG
Retarded Salah
Clueless MFer on Brown’s not getting off the field
The browns are gonna be a dangerous playoff team if Flacco keeps playing like this. The fact that he has playoffs experience.

Wow ravens have 7 wins with 14+ points against teams with winning record. We just got our first and it was by 1 point.
The good thing is Tua has beat them twice. I feel like he has more confidence with certain teams.
When we’re sharp in our preparation we can overwhelm any team. Our team is learning real time how to be a champion. It’s crunch time!
Two wild stats :
Lamar Jackson is 9-0 at M and T Bank Stadium in December games
If the Dolphins win, this will be the first time in franchise history that they have beat teams with ten wins or more in consecutive weeks.
Do to gain the number 1 seed, we will likely have to beat three 10 win teams consecutively.
So
Finish 💪

Why is everyone assuming Miami is going to lose the next two games?
I call it lack of confidence, as The Police say . . .

Ooooo!
Maybe they are afraid there are going to be way too many eyes on the ballot counting offices. Just sayin.
and thank you for taking my mind off these terrible playoff scenarios when is it “any given Sunday”.
I think Colorado did too
Technically states do have the right as to who can be on the ballot. Now I agree this could be setting a dangerous precedent but it is a state’s rights issue and they do have that right
I didn’t say they don’t have the right, I said they shouldn’t! My interpretation is that the people elect the President, not some fucking election official!
Maine went for Trump in 2016. Not talking California there. It’s a swing state.
Thanks for the correction. In that case, this is thoroughly unacceptable! Makes it that much worse.
It sounds like Holland needs another week or two.
Phelon,
I not seeing it as people are assuming we are going to lose the next two but rather seeing it as a possibility. Which it is very possible we could lose the next two.
Boulder – We beat the Cowboys by 2! 🙂
Crazy how these weather systems work. It’s raining in northern Michigan but it’s snowing 1000 miles SSW at my friends house in Arkansas. Heck, it is even snowing 800 miles due south in northern Alabama and Gatlinburg.

Guess he was a full go yesterday though
Another thing the sucks is the Bills have hardly anyone injured and actually are getting players back from IR.
Yeah- they are peaking at the right time.
McDaniel says Waddle is out vs the Ravens, Hunt and Holland are still possibilities. And Tua’s thumb injury was sustained during the 1st quarter of the Dallas game.
They expect Chosen to come out of concussion protocol today.
I think they should rest Holland another week. Give him another week to heal. Elliot and Jones have been holding it down.
They’ve been really careful with him, so that very well could happen.
NEW BLOG UP!!!
Ravens have been blowing teams out, when they’ve been winning the TO battle, don’t turn it over and it’s game on
