Dolphins began training camp July 25th, and it will continue through to August 5th, just 3 days from now. There have been some good stories, and we all hope those story lines continue all the way through to the season. One in particular has been OLB Quinton Bell. Bell, 6’4 250 began his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, then played for the Atlanta Falcons in 2022. He spent last season on the Dolphins practice squad. I believe he flashed some last year in camp as well, but it would be a wonderful thing if he became a solid depth player. After OLB Shaq Barrett unexpectedly retired, the Dolphins wasted no time reuniting with DE Emmanuel Ogbah. I stress that Ogbah is primarily a defensive lineman, DE specifically, and his 5.5 sacks were mostly from the defensive line, playing with DT or DE. We addressed the OLB spot in the draft, twice to be exact with our first pick, #21 OLB Chop Robinson and then again in RD 5 #158 Mo Kamara. We’re all aware that both OLB’s Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips are rehabbing from injuries suffered near the end of the season, so when either both of these players are back to being themselves in unknown.
CB Kader Kohou is another player having a nice camp. With the offseason addition of CB Kendall Fuller, and the fact that Jalen Ramsey is on the roster as well, Kohou will likely see more playing time inside at nickel. Nik Needham, also one of my favorites as is Kohou, just wasn’t back to the level of play before his injury. Some bad news, CB Cam Smith went out with an injury but should be back. WR Erik Ezukanma, who showed that physical nature on some run plays last season was also injured, and his status is more questionable than Smith’s, who again should return to action as soon as today.
An interesting development recently came out about the NFL rules going forward in 2024, and this rule specifically affects our team, as well as the SF 49ers and the LA Rams. The rule seems to indicate that the motion that we use so often pre snap with Tyreek Hill running and then angling towards the line of scrimmage will no longer be allowed. Mind you, this is still somewhat speculative, the rule was highlighted in red, as all rules that haven’t been enforced properly are every single season. Supposedly, there was a gray area in the interpretation of “abrupt” motion, so if they do enforce this, we’ll see how Mike McDaniel counters this being taken away. I was actually surprised when I saw the Dolphins implementing it, it did look unfair, and then I thought “Why doesn’t every team do this”? I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
WR Jaylen Waddle has had a great camp. He’s been catching passes and getting open on any and every defender, including our own superstar, Jalen Ramsey. That’s important, because there might come a time in the next couple of years if Tyreek Hill is still with the team, that Waddle becomes the main target, and Hill the #2 WR. It would be fantastic if Waddle can step up to another level. New C Aaron Brewer had some low snap issues, but otherwise has looked good. I’m sure we all remember the snapping issues our previous C Connor Williams had, right? Still, we want to se that cleaned up by seasons start.
Another nice camp story is the emergence of LB Anthony Walker, who played 4 years for the Colts and 3 for the Browns, and at 28, is showing well as a inside LB for the Dolphins. Walker battled injuries last season and is happy to have a fresh start with the Dolphins. The battle at NT has been a good one between NT Benito Jones and NT Teair Tart. CB Ethan Bonner has also impressed in camp, and although Bonner is behind Cam Smith and Kendall Fuller on the depth chart, that could change for sure.
One point I want to bring out, we’ve discussed it already, but it really resonated with me. CB Jalen Ramsey stating “It’s time to be bullies”. I can’t tell you how happy I was to hear that. Sometimes you just have to get it out there, and it can manifest itself into something real. I don’t have to tell you that when a lot of people think about our team, the word “soft” comes to mind. If thinking they’re going to be bullies helps purge the softness, so be it. I couldn’t agree with Jalen more. Purge that December swoon, purge it before it starts. Think of yourselves as the bad boys, and then play like it on the field, and punish teams like the Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs, etc. Smack them in the mouth and let them know you’re on the field right there with them. Keep feeding this mentality, make it so!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Thanks BBM!
Going back to the last page, I really wish some of you could be more civil to one another. There is no call for Fuck you, fuck off, go fuck yourself, etc and juvenile name calling. If you disagree, then disagree. There is no reason to get down in the mud and be purposefully insulting and degrading.
Understood. Though, I am not going to sit back and be called pathetic, so, fuck him.
His comments/rhetoric already has Wyoming taking a leave of absence.
I love it when people play the victim..lol
Again, Fuck You! Quit instigating.
** See Juvenile name calling portion of comment. Wyoming is a big boy and is entitled to take a break for whatever reason he wishes. I don’t think Krishna was the first to start calling names. I can almost assure you there are no communists on this board.
Ezekiel Vandenburgh Is quite the name
Is he on our team or the falcons
or just something you say when some one sneezes
😂
Rock, I agree there are no communists on this board. But communism uses subversive tactics to influence American life and the Soviets and China have been doing it for a long time. We don’t promote communism in the country but some people don’t mind that more cuddly word called socialism. That is the first priority to moving towards communism.
A socialist is just a communist that doesn’t have the balls to say so.
“I don’t think Krishna was the first to start calling names.”
Of course not, not little old Krishna.
Rock your wrong.
My response to Bookman:
August 3, 2024 at 12:02 pm
Also, USA Today doing an article trying to whitewash it is pathetic.
That’s it. Then he wants to come on here 3 days later and call me pathetic.
AGAIN, FUCK HIM and, I guess, fuck anyone who wants to back him up or defend him.
I’m done with it. I’m out. Take care y’all.
bye bye when your pussy stops hurting come back and visit
**You’re
BBM…you have been calling me names since I commented on the Trump assassination. You started by calling me a “Communist.” Why? Because I laughed at the assassination “miss”? Who the fuck cares and why would you judge me as such? I don’t like the man, never have, and it has NOTHING to do with politics. I’ve been clear about that on this blog from day ONE.
Wyo got his panties in a wad because I defended myself, my opinion, and my reaction and called both of you out for your NOT respecting my right to have an opinion that was not FAR RIGHT-WING (lol…my own). He played victim and left.
Then, for some reason, a boxer gets beat in the Olympics and again the American political right wing goes nuts and calls the winner of the match a “man”. I could give a shit about women boxing as it is a sport that is almost oxymoronic to me. Women punching each other in the face does nothing for me, but for some of you it’s an international/worldly disgrace.
Both alleged “men” boxers have been beaten multiple times by other women. The Russian (Communist)-led IBA has pushed the agenda that they are men without proof. All of this was sourced in the USA Today article that you refused to research or educate yourself about from multiple sources, and called “pathetic.” Yet, you offered ZERO sourcing except your mouth.
Calling the USA Today article a whitewash without reading it, is typical of the RIGHT-WING and pathetic, in my opinion. I didn’t say you were pathetic, but your statement, to me, was clearly pathetic AND cherry picked to suit your agenda and claim.
And I quote:
“I’m no fan of the IOC especially when they DON’T sanction Chinese and Russian dopers/athletes, but geez, loueez, calling out an USA Today article as ‘whitewashing’ is more pathetic, kinda like, chasing conspiracy theories.”
Now, you play the victim, name call, and then, leave. Lmfao!!!
The way I see it, you owe me an apology for all of the name calling. And, it would be great if you left your political opinions (through MacDonald songs) at home…lol. I don’t come hear to be “educated” by the far right-wing.
All over women’s boxing? WTF?
Not for me. That’s entirely a different weird thing.
It’s the Olympics more so than Women’s Boxing
Even so, who cares?
Defining someone as communist or socialist is kind of archaic. Current geopolitical conflicts are not really based on economic philosophies as they once were during the Cold War. Russia is not ruled by Communists anymore and even China’s economy embraces many aspects of capitalism. Current struggles are more about autocratic governments or totalitarian governments vs democratic republics or as in the Middle East a religious based form of nationalism. Communism as the enemy is really a thing of the past
“Says the Communist” LOL JK/BB
LOL
That’s like saying, He’s not an abuser he has anger issues
Come on man we’re Capitalists in this great meritocracy 🇺🇸
We are capitalists and there are not many communists left in the world
Xi, Putin, Maduro, Cuba, Rocket Man, maybe it’s not called Communism anymore but it sure reeks of it.
Putin is not Communist. His agenda is purely authoritarian and nationalistic. Even Xi who calls himself Communist is more about authoritarian government and nationalism than communism. Maduro is an insignificant boil on the World’s ass while Kim is the closest to a communist ideologue but even that has been corrupted into a cult of nationalistic personality
Ken, leftist Marxism is alive and well. Just a new garb to deceive. Socialism is the first order of business leading to communism. It’s an economic system with no ownership. It’s not about welfare and feel good debt relief. But that is how it starts. It’s fair share all the way. That’s not how life works. The elite will benefit and the middle class will erode into the poor. That’s the history of that system.
^ “Student Debt Relief” = Communism
That is not a definition of communism. There is an element of socialism to it but not communism
Yup and I’m not going there ever
“Give me Liberty or give me death”
This is America dammit we’re not a welfare state
We go out and earn shit. And don’t forget that we’re all around the same age we grew up in the same America
Boys don’t need tampons in their bathroom. It’s sick.
Rock – You were right about Stalin, er Ken. lol
If Shapiro is moderate – Wow
Holy shit
The first thing you do is pit each other against each other. Then offer money you never deserved. Then when it doesn’t exist anymore the elite body doesn’t care anymore. Don’t just follow the science, follow history.
Yup
” We don’t need no education”
Ding!
Brace yourself you’re about to hear the biggest load of bullshit you’ve ever heard in your life
Socialism is close enough to Communism for me. I don’t want any part of it.
Just so you can say you heard it here first:
Walls not Walz
Kamala picks a Governor who allowed BLM rioters to destroy Minnesota to the tune of over a billion dollars. Great choice! Let’s see how much of the rest of the country he can allow to get destroyed! More than 1300 buildings burned. Yeah, let’s vote for that guy!
They’ll blow the whole fucking thing up. These are sick people.
“They not like us”. Let’s burn the country down!
Go Dolphins!
seems like we had a great practice with the Falcons although I haven’t seen much about our offense yet. Probably my fault.
we had a page turn earlier go back and look BBM gave a ton of updates on practice today. Sounds like the O was pretty good.
thnx
I should’ve realized the stuff above was part 2.
lots of good stuff at practice.
Cracraft doing his version of always open thing. Good to see Malik figuring it out.
Malik looked good, Snead was awful

BBM…you have been calling me names since I commented on the Trump assassination. You started by calling me a “Communist.” Why? Because I laughed at the assassination “miss”?…
————–
I went on vacation for a week, the day after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Fun in the sun and surf, great food and drink, visited a few military museums, and did my annual check-up on the ships and subs that have returned home from deployment. It was SO good to see the Eisenhower back home and safe after her stint in the Middle East, post 10/7 (Hamas attacking Israel). As such, I had very little time to check in here at the time.
Had I known that you “LAUGHED at the assassination ‘miss'”, I’d have FAR stronger words than my guy BB Mike just calling you a “communist”… BELIEVE THAT.
There’s absolutely nothing funny, laughable, or joke-worthy about something that could have plunged our great country into another civil war… so I find the “communist” comment to be very light, indeed.
Look, these are very serious and dangerous times we’re living in. We’re on the cusp of WW3 (we’re already there, just waiting for the first bomb to be dropped), the global stock-market is collapsing, and our country is most unstable enough as it is.
PLEASE, do not make matters worse by laughing and saying some BS about a former president nearly having his brains blown out, then play the victim card saying you were called a name, and then pour more gas on the fire after smoking up again.
You’re better than that, Krishna, man. I’m trying to be really cool about this and you’ll notice that I’m not calling you any names. You fucked with the bull and got the horns for VERY serious rabble-rousing… that’s just the way I see it. I don’t blame BB Mike for losing his always cool self with you. I would have too if I read your comment in real time.
NOW is the time for America to come together… not to divide. Very few things in this world scare me, but I honestly fear the worst is coming very soon: WW3. Let’s unite for the purpose of AMERICA, my friend.
Thanks…I’ll consider the source. Now, how about fucking dropping it.
You right wing pedantics brought both issues up on a Dolphin blog. I commented and right wingers, including you, didn’t like my comments. Well, too fucking bad.
Don’t bring NON-Dolphin shit here or face rebuttal. I’m fucking tired of the condescending, right-wing, god-fearing bullshit, anti anything outside your tiny little box thinking. Stick to fucking football!!! Or, at least sports so we can talk about women punching each other in the face…lol
Victim?!!! BBM lied about me calling him names. I never said a word until he defended his “juvenile” behavior to Rock. Again, the ole right wing slant or should we just come out and call them lies….lol. I’m cool with that!
When McDaniel congratulated him on being #1, Tyreek told him “Without you, I’d still be #15!”
That’s cool.
NICE!!!
Everyone here has to get a thicker skin. We all jump on shit that others say here, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to discuss anything, including current events which are political. We all have our beliefs, and they obviously don’t all fall on the same side. Because of that, sometimes tempers will flare and we have to be able to handle it. I don’t want to lose anyone here.

Krishna,
I’m being serious, Bro. Maybe you aren’t, but I am. Let’s (ALL!) try to reconcile our political differences for the sake of our country. I can keep it football if you can keep it football, man. That’s a promise I can keep, being I VERY seldom talk politics on here anymore unless it’s a national/international convo.
Consider it dropped on my part… now can YOU consider it dropped, after attacking BB Mike today, 3 days after he’d made a comment?
MF13
I too have been busy with other stuff lately.
I don’t know and don’t really want to find out what all the anger is about on this blog.
I blame social media among other similar forces for getting Americans all angry at each other.
That is a well-known way to destroy a country or team or business or family … or blog.
I wish everyone running for office, deciding who to vote for, commenting on their favorite teams both players and management, and posting their opinions on any and all topics would discuss the small differences between our positions with open-mindedness, tolerance, and polite civility.
instead it seems to have become the norm to ridicule anyone who has a difference of opinion, use foul language and insulting labels for those with an alternative perspective, and question the patriotism and integrity of everyone who interprets the extant dataset and arrives at a contrary plan for what to do about it.
There are very few actual communists and total racists in America, yet people type as if these are majorities.
I know hundreds of Democrats and not a single one is a communist.
I know hundreds of Republicans and none of them hate it if a black guy makes the winning score for their team
we need to stop portraying the opposing political party as some sort of evil force that is the total opposite of “our” party.
This is a very bad recent trend in which party organizers’ message tries to draw a huge difference between the two.
yes a few Americans are on the radical fringe at either end of the spectrum, but by far most Americans just want to chill with family and friends and have a good life.
Two more examples: 98% of Americans in both parties believe there’s a problem on the Mexican border. Where we disagree is what to do about it. Even then most Americans agree it would be good to prevent criminals and spies and lazy bums to enter. The debate is how to weed them out (and also keep the numbers coming in to a manageable amount) while still allowing true refugees and hard-working future citizens in.
I mean that’s how your ancestors got here.
And we have plenty of room for more. But no one wants to pay for baby factories and drug mules. So … we’re smart. If we can just stop screaming at each other and work out a good plan, we can solve this problem.
#2 a huge majority of Americans in both parties believe Israel has the absolute right to defend itself and retaliate against Hamas etc. And also most everyone thinks Israel needs to be more careful about harming innocent civilians and more tolerant of non-Jews within its borders and in neighboring territories.
Also almost all Americans know that the religious fanatics ruling Iran and operating as terrorists in the Middle East are the real enemies
So why can’t we stop screaming at each other and formulate a plan amenable to the consensus?
#3 BONUS:
The current mess surrounding gender in the world today is not a Democrat or Republican issue. Humanity is going through an enormous investigation into the traditional hard division between male and female. This chaos cannot be resolved quickly. But screaming at each other won’t help us figure out if sex organs or chromosomes or personal declaration of choice is the way to know.
Sports will continue to be the site of most friction because we have so firmly divided men and women for competitive sports.
It will take time and well-intentioned deep consideration to figure out a way to go that is fair to men and women and those who think of themselves as both or neither.
There is no easy solution. But only through rational scientific empathy can we ever get to something that works.
Please everyone use your huge power that you have to try to help stop this trend of hating on those who have arrived at a slightly different world view than yours. Their matrix of experience has led them to their place. Most are not bad people. We need all you good people to help heal America before we lose the whole thing.
Naples,
I HEAR ya, bud! Good post, as well. My only beef is joking about a former president and the current GOP nominee nearly being assassinated. That is NOT COOL, regardless of party affiliation, sir.
#3 is easy
Just (as my Grandfather taught me) Protect (leave) the kids animals and old folks out or it, and no-one will care what you do!
I MUST admit… I’m REALLY liking what I’m seeing out of our Defense so far. Yes, it’s still far too early to get a legit feel (and the Defense is ALWAYS ahead of the Offense at this stage of the game), but I’m already having a good feeling about our Defense.
You guys are all weird.
😆
Man I know I shouldn’t read this shit after drinking!
But hey who am I to disagree with myself?
I’ll think I can walk around the piece of shit on the floor! I mean it’s not like I can smell it after smoking for 40 years!
I will admit I was a touch sensitive that day that a former president was shot. I guess that means more to some than others.
Just don’t expect me to piss on you if you ever catch fire!!!
I feel ya, Wyoming! Good to see ya here!
It usually costs extra to have someone piss on me. Welcome back Wyoming
SB – you got that right bud! Bunch of weird people here that have been together a pretty long time
And allow me to add… we’ll get over this, too. Just a LOT of emotions going on, IMO.
Well said naples…thank you.
I would welcome civil conversation/discussion toward common resolution.
And, I can stir shit up when I feel attacked. I won’t back down. For that, I apologize.
But, I will say what I believe to be the truth and call out what I think is bullshit. I will challenge you and expect to be challenged, with respect. It’s how I live my life in work, play, and love.
We cannot make light of violence against any political candidate. People running for office must be protected and allowed to meet the public, speak live about their positions, and move around the country without fear for their safety.
We must not devolve into choosing our leaders by cycles of violence and revenge with our governments holding power only until the next coup installs another dictator who can only be removed by more violence.
That’s not democracy.
AMEN!
Amen?
SO, that means when you LOSE, both popular (by a huge margin) and electorally, in a fair election, walk away peacefully, don’t call people to find missing votes because you lost, and don’t encourage violence and the trashing of the White House. CORRECT?
Otherwise, seems karma might be in play. Just saying, it goes both ways and starts at the top.
Be an example of civilty and freedom and not a LOSER.
Tua sucks
Go!

You rabble-rouser, you! 😀
Let’s all try to chill, right? Here’s one of my favorite jokes, provided by Harrison Ford…
Harrison Ford Broccoli Joke
I’m encouraged by the VP selections.
One has a beard like me,
and the other one looks old like me.
And for the sake of comedy, neither VP candidate seems to be quite like DAN QUAYLE… 😆 😆 😆
Legend.
Naples – I have to say that my observations the last 4 years have led me to believe that while people from opposing parties may have some commonalities between them, I feel like the rift in many different areas is getting deeper and wider. It’s pretty alarming to me, it really is. I think we try to make it seem like it’s just extremes on either side, but I no longer feel like that’s the case from what I see every day.
And from what I see and work and live in every day is diverse, mostly conservative but respectful, and we all want the same things for our families. We all get all from both sides and we look out for each other.
…all get along and are from both sides (I hate that word)

communism = authoritarianism and always has. Animal Farm called it out…Some are more equal than others.
Authoritarianism has existed long before communism and occurs on both sides of the political spectrum
Yes, but there has never been a communist regime that was not authoritarian. Because communism is a myth – the concept is always a cover for authoritarianism.
I think it’s a fair statement to say that every nation that has declared itself communist became totalitarian. Certainly any nation of geopolitical significance did but the economic philosophy of communism is dying out and what is left is authoritarian nationalism
so how was everyone’s day today?
peachy
If I may be so bold. It’s okay to be nice. This is what this song is about. Doing what you love. Sharing with people.

Ken, we should stop authoritarianism on both sides.
What made you think I said otherwise?
The NL Wild Card battle is pretty intense. Kudos to the Padres for taking over the top spot and the Diamondbacks bouncing the Braves to the 3 spot. Should be a really interesting race down the stretch!
The only thing worse than talking about politics on a football blog is talking baseball. Do better. lol.
LOL.
HC Mike McDaniel Wednesday August 7 media availability coverage thread:
On Waddle and Berrios missed practices: minor stuff. We have a collection of minor things going on. Good news is they aren’t major things.
On Malik Washington — What Malik has done well is find how to be a professional very early. How he’s studying his ownership of the playbook and how reliable he is with his assignments for his teammates. Coach referenced Malik’s veteran-like approach.
Coach says he feels supreme conviction that yesterday was fully utilized. Happy with his team’s day. He says, offensively, he was pumped to go back at the tape and see the things they’ve been working on since April. The stuff he was looking for specifically was there, he says.
The evaluation of data and player’s playing time for Friday night will be determined tomorrow. McDaniel says he doesn’t think we’ll be surprised with regards to Tua’s playing time – a.k.a – he probably won’t play.
Coach on what he liked from his defense yesterday – I saw a spirit that I was very confident in, but you don’t know until you face a different squad. That spirit, energy and standard of play was really cool and present throughout practice from the first play.
McDaniel says White and Thompson was close last year and that both players have improved a lot from this time last year. He says the battle this year is neck and neck.
anyone watch Phinside the NFL?
I ran into Reason at practice
Good Morning Blog! I want to sincerely apologize for my outburst yesterday morning on something trivial.
I woke up to some bad news for me. That and this quitting smoking shit has given me a very “light trigger”. Just ask my wife.
Shouldn’t make excuses when apologizing but it is what it is.
Rock, sorry man. You tried to tone me down then I kind of came at you. BTW, my P wasn’t hurting, my ass was.
Anyway, I apologize and will try to figure out how to adjust my trigger pull.
Back to football!
accepted. I apologize as well after asking people to be civil, I start by saying your pussy hurt. It was wrong of me how is the quitting smoking going by the way? Remember, it’s just this one This one cigarette is not going to beat you This one craving is not going to make you give up
6.5 years no nicotine now. (After 35 years of 1.5-2 packs a day) YOU CAN DO IT!
It’s been really up and down. Will do great all week then go to work, get stressed out, buy a pack, smoke a couple, feel disappointed in myself, then give the rest to a homeless guy on the curb. It’s been a wash and repeat cycle all summer. I usually make it a couple weeks before giving in again.
Thanks awesome! Thanks for the encouragement! I bought a pack yesterday evening on my way to Alabama but threw them away on my way back.
Bailey 66, 75 and 80 yards punts
they moved the ball 80 was only 70
ST punt return fight
yikes lots of pressure on punts
awful chippy
??
@schadjoe
Liam Eichenberg is a master of multiplicity according to Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel
”master of none”
@schadjoe
“I’m seeing a new Rob Jones,” – Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on guard, who is depth chart #1 right now
@OmarKelly
The Dolphins have waived Chasen Hines and replaced him with receiver Mike Harley Jr.
Word is they keep bringing these WR’s mainly due to minor injuries and needing to sit guys but still need players for all the reps. Of course they also want to see what they got and keep the bottom competitive.
That’s per Omar, so…
LOL @ SB! What was I thinking?
Malik with 2 deep ones in 3 plays
Nice!
@OmarKelly
River Cracraft with the Orange Jersey.
@flasportsbuzz
Jordyn Brooks is back for the Dolphins, but Cam Smith apparently re-injured himself in his first 2 days back and is not spotted here. 4 WRs remain out (Odell, Berrios, Waddle, Ezukanma). Poyer out a 6th practice in a row apparently
@OmarKelly
Tyreek Hill and Raheem Mostert went inside. Not sure if they will return or not. This is the norm.
@chrisperk
Rookie edge rusher Mo Kamara hasn’t yet been spotted today. He also missed yesterday. The Fins’ pass rush was amazingly effective Tuesday. We’ll see what happens today as the Falcons make adjustments
Last I saw of Hill is returning punts, nothing in 11v11, he was there to give congrats to Malik on his bomb, so nothing to see here

keep at it, man!! It’s the hardest thing I ever did. Mainly because it immediately releases endorphins And is a convenient replacement for anything else that makes you feel good just keep at it! Tenacity! YOU are stronger than your cravings!
Yeah man, appreciate it again!
@chrisperk
Starting safeties Jevon Holland and Jordan Poyer haven’t yet been spotted today. Poyer would be missing his 6th straight day. Holland might have been shaken up trying for a PBU in the end zone yesterday with Kendall Fuller
@OmarKelly
Jordan Poyer has missed 6 straight practices now. Couldn’t tell you the last time I physically saw him. That’s concerning.
Jonnu lined up in backfield, goes in motion and catches a swing pass on the same line he ran in motion
that play will be used in short yardage thus year and should be unstoppable, if not over used
@chrisperk
One thing to watch for Fins’ OL today is blitz recognition & pickup. They didn’t fare well in those areas yesterday
issue again lots of short passes
@DOrlandoAJC
#Falcons John FitzPatrick got ticked after his face mask was grabbed. Got tangled up with #Dolphins Cam Brown during punt return play.
@chrisperk
Falcons CB AJ Terrell thuds up Raheem Mostert on run left for no gain on 1st play of 11 on 11…1s vs. 1s…Achane short gain right on 2nd play
2nd play Mostert lit someone up with a shoulder hit, it was loud fans reacted
was Mostert not Achane running on 2nd play
Cool!
@chrisperk
Tua probably sack by Falcons DT David Onyemata. He was a problem Tuesday
———————-
Lets ask Steve, our field reporter.
Steve, Onyemata was a problem for the OL yesterday and appears to be today as well. Is he getting his pressures/sacks by beating the inside or outside of our OL?
IDK not out there now
@chrisperk
Tua to TE Jonnu Smith for maybe 5 yards middle. Nice to see TE involved in red zone…Dolphins at 5-yard line now
@chrisperk
Tua to Cracraft middle for maybe 10 yards and then Mostert stopped for short gain in middle. LB Nate Landman applies big hit
Hill is in 11v11 2 min drill
@chrisperk
Tua inc. Wisely throws it away at Achane’s feet while under pressure. Falcons pass rush having good success early in this 11 on 11
Jonnu for 6 2nd team in
from Skylar
@WingfieldNFL
Falcons D came to play in this opening red zone period. Some big hits, disciplined in their fits, giving minimal ground. They had a sack and two tackles for short/no gain in the run game.
Tua did have a scramble throw to Cracraft on the move that was pretty, and Jonnu just scored on a now throw.
@chrisperk
Tyreek Hill deep for punt return. Hmmm…we don’t see that very often
@AdamHBeasley
There’s another fight between the Falcons’ offense and the Dolphins’ defense. Began when Allgeier got tackled to the ground.
kion looked good at LT
Good to hear
@WingfieldNFL
Kion Smith has a nice kickout block on a now throw from Tua to Achane. De’Von hit the crease and had a head of steam into the second level.
@flasportsbuzz
As Tua throws long completion to wide open Julian Hill on one field, major fight unfolds on the other field. Punches thrown.
@chrisperk
Tua throws it away under pressure. Falcons pass rush creating a problem today
@chrisperk
Tua overthrows Cracraft over middle by large margin. Might have been communication mixup. Pressure on Tua again
someone hurt stopped practice
on our D field
Damn
@AdamHBeasley
Another Dolphins late hit leads to another big brawl
looks like a Falcon
Falcons all huddled around player
Hope it’s not bad
@schadjoe
Malik Washington hauled in a deep bomb from Skylar Thompson at Miami Dolphins joint practice vs. Atlanta Falcons
Looks like I am catching up to you, Steve.
@DOrlandoAJC
Another fight between the #Falcons o and the #Dolphins D. Looks like an injury this time
@WingfieldNFL
It’s been a rough start for the first team offense. Pressure, check downs, we had one high throw from Tua to Cracraft who was open. Jody Fortson had a drop. Out of sync.
Joe Schad
@schadjoe
Aside from a few big plays the Dolphins offense has not been sharp at all today vs. Falcons
@chrisperk
Tua inc. Throws for Ingold while under pressure. Ingold hadn’t yet turned around. Falcons pass rush is for real today. Lots of feast or famine situations for Fins pass protection
Football news. Awesome. Thanks for posting Steve and BBM
No problem.
@WingfieldNFL
Tua had Cracraft on a double move but the ball is just out of reach.
Some bad news coming once I get caught up.
and here it is:
@flasportsbuzz
Dolphins center Aaron Brewer had his right hand examined by trainers and has now left the practice field, walking toward a medical facility. Unfortunate. Connor Williams signed with Seattle yesterday. Liam your backup center and also your starting RG.
@OmarKelly
Ethan Bonner vs Drake London all day and it looks like Bonner belongs. When you face Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle daily who exactly do you fear.
@chrisperk
Dolphins 1st offense struggling a bit in this red zone drill. Mostert was just stopped for no gain from the 4-yard line, Falcons seem to have learned from previous red zone drill, in which Fins got the best of them. Jaylen Wright just stopped for TFL. Wow
@flasportsbuzz
Not a good day for Dolphins. Brewer injured, goes to medical facility. Poyer has missed 6 days in row and has a limp. Offense not particularly today (aside from a few plays in passing game by Malik Washington, Jonnu Smith and Julian Hill).
@WingfieldNFL
Jonnu Smith with a TD on a nice rip from White – White threw it in anticipation of the window opening up and it was right on time
@chrisperk
RB Jeff Wilson with rare Fins TD in this red zone drill on run right
@flasportsbuzz
Brewer walked back outside and is watching practice. We will see on severity of injury.
Hope he is OK.
Practice comes to a halt as Falcons’ Mondale Moore is carted off
Practice concluded under a cloud of concern.
Receiver Rondale Moore was down in the end zone for several minutes, with the entire team gathered around him in addition to both coaches, before he was carted off.
Trainers immobilized Moore before the cart drove off.
It was unclear how the injury occurred.

BB Mike – Any MLB news, or political news? 😛
Yep!
Reds and Cubs can’t get out of their own way as usual. Reds can score some runs and win big but can’t win the close ones.
As far as politics, we are doomed. lol
Reds are +41 in run differential and ranked 13th in all of MLB but yet are 3 games under .500 and in 4th place in their division. Cards have a -47 run differential and are in 2nd place in the division trying to get a WC spot. Sucks!
Ken, my comment about stopping authoritarians on both sides was a general statement, not directed personally at you.
@ThePoniExpress
Sources: The Steelers have a verbal agreement in place with the 49ers for Brandon Aiyuk. All the terms of the deal and contract details are being hammered out now. The WR is coming to Pittsburgh.
The Stealers* are going to be very fierce this season.
If they get good QB play.
