Let me preface this article by saying that I completely and fully understand how just how bad this team really is. I know 2 very important units, the offensive and defensive lines are inadequate. Our first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft was at #13, Michigan DT Kenneth Grant. He’s been ranked as one of the worst DT’s in the NFL for his play through 5 games. Our 2nd pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, one that required GM Chris Grier to trade picks #48, #98 and #135 for pick #37 and #143 from the Las Vegas Raiders. Guess what folk? If you guessed that OG Jonah Savaiinaea is rated as one of the worst OG’s in the NFL through 5 games, you’d be right. Stay with me for a second. Our #1 pick in RD1, #13, is either rated the worst, or darn close in the NFL. I can guarantee you that there are other rookie DT’s drafted and playing that aren’t as bad as our valuable 1st RD pick. I can also guarantee you that there are a bunch of OG’s taken after Jonah Savaiianea was drafted that are playing and are doing better than the player we needed to trade multiple picks for. A career isn’t determined by 5 games, but it looks bad on Chris Grier right now, because the way this team is assembled, we need both of these players right now, and have needed them since the season began because we don’t have anyone better to replace them with. Are you starting to realize that this needs to be the last time GM Chris Grier runs a draft for this team?
Now onto my favorite topic. I was thinking to myself about things that both Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel said about QB Tua Tagovailoa. We need him to stay healthy, we need him on the field so we don’t want him doing anything that puts himself in harms way. at 1-4, I say do we really need QB Tua Tagovailoa to be healthy and playing QB for us and playing to stay out of harms way? How’s that working Chris, Mike? What if you tell QB Tua Tagovailoa let it all hang out, play with reckless abandon and get us back into this season? Would he say no? Does it matter if he gets hurt? I watched NY Giants QB Jaxson Dart beat up on the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. He played with reckless abandon, put his body on the line, and the team is energized by him and they respond by playing better. Turn on a Bucs game any week, and there’s QB Baker Mayfield putting his body in harms way and leading his team to victories. He’s a leader, and not only leads his team with words, he leads by example. Is Tua more important than Baker Mayfield? Do Tua’s teammates not deserve that type of effort from their QB? What exactly does Tua inspire? Nothing! He’s like a wet rag, and his response in his presser that win or lose it doesn’t matter because when he gets home he gets to see his wife and kids and that’s all that matters. While he’s not wrong as far as life is concerned, fans, and probably teammates don’t want to hear that shit. Time to either get this guy to do what needs to be done or sit his ass down and let Zach Wilson play for a few weeks until you can get rookie QB Quinn Ewers up to speed with the offense and get him plenty of reps so when he takes the field, he’s ready. Maybe it’s game 10 or 14, but that should be the plan.
Back to this dreadful season, we host the Los Angeles Chargers. Oooh, get excited, another matchup of 2020 Draft QB’s, #5 Tua Tagovailoa vs #6 Justin Herbert. Since Jim Harbaugh has taken over the Head Coach duties for the LA Chargers, QB Justin Herbert has been a different player. Last season Herbert was a much more careful QB, throwing only 3 INT’s the entire season. The Chargers went 11-6 and lost in ugly fashion to the Houston Texans 32-12 in their Wild Card matchup. This season, the Chargers are 3-2 and tied for 1st place with the Denver Broncos. The Dolphins are one step above the basement thanks to the NY Jets who are on track for the first pick in the NFL Draft. At this point, if Chris Grier is still with this organization it doesn’t matter if we pick #1 or #32, he will screw it up anyway.
Will we still be the De’Von Achane’s on offense, or will they allow a few others to participate? Anyone watch the NY Giants against the Philadelphia Eagles? You this guy Cam Skattebo kicking some ass? We drafted a RB in RD 6, RB Ollie Gordon who put up very similar stats to Cam Skattebo in the same conference, the Big 12. Ollie Gordon has 21 carries in 5 games, and most times, it’s just one carry and back out. He’s a physical runner and he needs reps, consecutive reps to get going, like maybe a good amount of a drive. Nope, they’ll run Achane into the ground. We saw Darren Waller have tons of success in the first half of last weeks game and then POOF! He disappeared! Waller had 5 catches for 78 yards and 1 TD. Now he’s questionable for this game as he’s logged only one limited practice so far this week with his recurring hip injury. This offense, team is so stale, it’s like the cheese doodle that fell under your couch 4 years ago and even the house insects don’t want to eat it anymore.
Our defense is allowing the 2nd highest average yards per carry at 5.6 in the NFL. We’re allowing the highest passer rating in the NFL at 117.6. On offense, we have scored the least amount of points in our division, yes, less than the Jets, scoring 107 points, which BTW, is better than the LA Chargers who have scored 98. The big difference is the Chargers have only allowed 97 points while our Dolphins defense has been generous enough to allow 145, good for 27th in the NFL. I blame mostly Grier, he assembled this roster, so this is his baby, but I don’t know if there’s a coach on this team I want to see back in 2026 in any capacity. Surely, none of them deserve to be HC. I can tell you I’d take former Dolphins LB Coach Anthony Campanile back, but on this staff right now, no thanks!
I don’t know what’s going to happen this week but I know I’d rather have the HC of the Chargers over our Capri Pants Wearing Mumbler. I wanted Jim Harbaugh for years. He’s crazy AF, but that guy is a hardass coach who knows how to win. On that note, if/when the curtain falls on Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier, who are our potential Head Coach candidates. I know many of you have already dismissed former HC Jon Gruden. I would be absolutely fine with hiring him. He knows how to do the entire job, not just one facet of it. He’s won a Superbowl, but that doesn’t disqualify him for me, knowing that no Head Coach has won a Super Bowl with 2 different teams in NFL history. Let’s back to being a good football team and I’ll worry about not winning a SB later!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Drew Allar out for the season
————–
That’s terrible for him. He’s a good dude and I hope he recovers soon for the Combine.
at least my Panthers have come out the same way they finish the season. on top of the east three nil nil
Howies List week 6 ⚡️ @🐬

🇨🇦 24-21 🐬 just for Mike E😎
I heard on WQAM this morning that Patrick Paul while being one of the best pass blocking left tackles is among the worst run blocking left tackles this season
I heard the same somewhere else this past week. That kind of surprised me, and I hope it’s just a matter of technique that can be fixed.
It could be no “dog” mentality. Some guys just want to put people in the dirt, some guys just want to be a technician
Here’s his draft profile. He seems to have always been weaker as a run-blocker, while he’s been rather proficient in pass-blocking…

YUP!
“Paul should continue to add play strength, but he also needs to display better effort and full-time grit if he wants to square off against NFL run defenders and become a well-rounded left tackle.”
Bo Nix ain’t living up to the promise he showed last year
Bo’s second season has been nixed.
Speaking of Bo’s, have y’all seen that Ohio State has a RB named Bo Jackson? Man, he should be forced to change his name… or something!
There is only ONE Bo Jackson!
Bo knows names
LOL
Justin Fields has a mere 38 passing yards as we near the two-minute warning?!! Not the two-minute warning in the 2nd quarter, but the 2-minute warning in the 4TH QUARTER.
Funny – Nix has very similar stats to Tua. Hmmm
With the exception that Nix will be 4-2, and Tua will probably 1-5
Funny Nix has a defense
Funny Tua had Hill, Achane and Waddle

Okay I am out
Later, Hulkster!
45 total passing yards for Justin Fields. Just WOW!
“There is only ONE Bo Jackson!”
I agree. I say we call that Ohio St RB, Bob.
If I ever talk about him here, I will call him BOB.
And so it shall be, Rich. BOB! 😆
GO PHINS!!!
HELL YEAH!!!
How bout that Jaylen Wright and the GM that traded up for him?
Good return. Now lets see them f it up.
Nailed it 😶🌫️
NICE RETURN, MALIK!!!
That was not Tua’s fault.
Waddle, WTF was that?!!
That wasn’t Tua’s fault this time
IDK
Can this team make anymore mistakes right off the bat? Geez!
as long as Capri is running the show
Defense didn’t look too bad
Agreed
was thinking the same, first time this season we didn’t give up a TD on a special teams 1st down
Okay back to the FG.
And Dicker the Kicker puts it right through the uprights.
if Butler can’t touch the center, it was a good call, but the way explained putting his weight on him, he didn’t do that
You can hear the ‘BOOOOOs’ coming down from the crowd.
Looks like they were right using roll outs to the left. Rolling to the right also causes ball security issues, Tua had to switch the ball to his right hand which eliminates him throwing the ball
2 drives and about 5 yards… LOL
So saddening.
Defense showing up! Let’s see the O show
Jordyn Brooks is playing at a Pro-Bowl level this season!
I guess that’s Oronde Gadsden’s son?
Yes
Dad says hello
while the rest of the NFL has been using the punch technique, since the turn of the century, our D is finally joining the party
Achane is the best player on this team
^
ACHANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
knock the shit off Achane 🤣
Brewer with excellent movement and the TD block
he’s playing?
Brewer? Yes, he started and is playing every down so far
Why are there so many empty seats? 😳
Yeah, it’s kind of sad. But they ARE making noise when we screw up a play.
Like us M, they care. As you say, sad
On that last Chargers drive, did anybody else notice our DT had to point out to our DE that he’s supposed to shift over towards the middle?
I didn’t catch who the DT or the DE were, being I was watching our DBs.
UK – fans are fed up, tired of this. Looks Ike the team is playing better today
Was very tongue in cheek Mike. It is allegedly the only thing Ross cares about. 🤞 it’s enough to trigger Ross to purge the dead wood
👍
What would this team be without Achane?
As bad as the Jets?
Elsewhere Drake Maye looking like Brady and real daylight starting to appear between them and us in terms of franchise development
Fucking Patterson …. I hear that a lot 😎
😂
Lots of Tua supporters here relentlessly ragged on Drake Maye. He’s playing better than Tua right now
Wait until Maye gets 4 concussions… LOL
I knew that kick was going to miss, we can’t ever get lucky with that situation, where we get a holding penalty (some bas play), then get the long FG anyways
I would’ve been hot on the attempt, if the season wasn’t lost already
The new NFL is go for it on 4th down and attempt long FGs. I would have punted there.
I would’ve, because of the situation and our not very good kicker hasn’t missed anything yet
the pressure may now be on him with Sanders about to return
so many empty seats because they’re sending a message to ross.Make changes now
we need to make changes
but I’m not sure why people need to demand it in October
we already ruined the season – I personally just prefer they let the season play out. Maybe we make the gm change as early as November. But there is no point to firing a coach in October imo
some bad tackling out there
bad angle by Brooks, he got schooled in the open field earlier
Phillips looks fast today. He didn’t last week.
seems they’ve told the rooks just play, quit thinking
I meant Jaelan
Think Tim is referring to Jaelan Phillips
Defense doing its part. Where’s Tua and the offense?
Riding the pines again due to TOP.
Chargers: 15:02, Phins: 6:19
Our Defense just can’t get off the field again.
you aren’t watching the game, our O has been 3 and out mostly
OK, a 2 play TO drive, a quick score added to the 3 and out
IDK, did Tua buy a house yet?
Tagovailoa sold his former home in Davie, Florida, in July 2025 for $2.6 million, after purchasing it for $1.65 million in 2020. He is reportedly looking for a new house for his family, though the location of this new residence is not yet public. His former home was in the gated Long Lake Ranches community and included a movie theater, putting green, and resort-style pool.
wait a bit Tua
bad blocking but Ollie Gordon just needs to move forward
One carry for Ollie Gordon and then go take a seat. Can Mike give the kid a few consecutive carries?
maybe if we have a lead
of course we had a 17 point lead last week and they didn’t do that…so….
not a chance, he’s not everyone’s buddy, rookies don’t get that love
it was a 💩 play design Mike. He ran 5 yds horizontally then stopped dead, lost all momentum and had the ball handed to him 🤷♂️
Charles Davis kinda said same thing , also about having him running outside is not his forte
bad no call
Did MM ascend through the coaching ranks as run game coordinator 🤷♂️? Asking for a friend
yes, then his brain scattered after becoming HC
he’s too cool for that now
the hand off to Gordon. QED
here comes another missed fist pump
if this was game 1 we’d all be thinking we have a good team

you aren’t watching the game, our O has been 3 and out mostly
———–
You aren’t wrong… it does cut both ways. Our Offense and Defense have both SUCKED, per the usual.
Our Defense has allowed points on 3 of 4 Chargers possessions.
FG’s,. Take away the Achane TD run, what have we done?
nothing, D keeping us in the game
9 points
Bobby Hart is our MVP thus far!!! LOL
this game has actually been enjoyable to watch with no expectations and no give a s*** first time in a long time.
had to make sure they didn’t pick up that long.Third down first before posting this
Tua has tua time outs to get a score here
i remember us calling two timeouts.Don’t know why we still have two
without tyreke, our offense plays too close to the line of scrimmage, nothing down the field at all
Wow, what a catch by Waddle, if it stands
HOLY SHIT!!! Did he maintain possession?
unbelievable second effort by waddle to catch that ball
what a catch
to awaited too long, he should have hit Achane quick
That was a crazy difficult catch made by Waddle.
Borom with his token penalty per half
nice drive other than Borom
where’s Jackson?
On injured reserve since the Colts game
Now we will see the difference between these two coaches
Jim Harbaugh can make adjustments….
It’s been a meh game but we’re winning.
should have been 6 Tua can’t even throw fifty.Yards now
Why was Waddle’s catch notable…he created the drama…lol…self-inflicted imo
yeah, you are right. His first double clutch of the game turned into an interception instead of a reception.
It was very good concentration to catch it after he fucked up though
lol, the pass was so shitty Waddle did all he could
have you ever tried catching one of those sky balls while turning back around?
we can only hope, we need a QB in 2026 draft
Absolutely agreed, Steve.
Definitely. They all looked bad yesterday outside of Simpson. Glad we have a few more games to get some more data.
13-9 Phins up at the half.
Now let’s now allow 3rd-string Vidal to run for over 200 yards, take advantage of 3rd-string OTs playing (get more pressures, more SACKS), and get a rhythm going on Offense.
just our luck with no good QBs entering the draft
we messed up so bad in 2020 not taking herbert. The gods are telling us you don’t get a redo
Rock – I beg to differ on the Waddle catch. That throw made Waddle contort his body the other way just to get his hands on it. I thought the throw was bad, only the hang time gave him a difficult chance to catch it
Mike, two things can be true at the same time. It was a shit pass but waddle had both hands on it before he fumbled it back up to himself he did the same thing on Tua’s first interception, except he didn’t catch it after he double clutched it
Yes
Drake Maye looks the part, we can’t even get that lucky
Not even a threat of the run on that drive. Can we answer back with a TD?
Chargers still ate over 7:00 of clock… and like you said, without the threat of the run.
Seriously, what would this offense be without Achane?
more great second half adjustments by the coaching staff…
Tua Tua Tua
https://share.google/PNN7jz6l0Pc3Z9w2K
Tua has Achanitis! He looked at him the whole fucking time!
Tua fans will blame the defense but Tua took all the air out of the sails for this team. Bench him!
Perfect complementary football …
Offence coughs up the ball
Defense gives up all the yards to a TD
trade up Jonah single-handedly killed that drive
Good thing we traded up to get Jonah Savaiinaea. He vowed to protect his fellow Samoan. He ain’t getting the job done. Let’s see if we fire McDaniel and Grier after this game
Big Jonah sucks.
It’s ugly once again. 😩
guys watch him next time we have a drive
he avoids Contact
what kind of fucking guard avoids Contact!!?
Mike you gotta figure out a way to post that video I texted you
it’s a perfect example of how he plays
he runs around like a grade schooler without touching anyone
it’s up at the top of the page at the end of the article
Yeah, that was pretty awful
that there is a second round pick and a third round pick
If anyone wants to see the Jonah Savaiinaea whiff in the first half, the video is below the GO DOLPHINS at the end of the article
Make it whiffs plural, two complete non contact misses on blocks
🤮
Chargers have almost twice the TOP as we have. That’s not solely on one unit… that’s a colossal failure on every unit.
M13,
Franklin gone. $48.6 million buyout.
HELL YEAH, BROTHER!!!
Next up: McDaniel!
Now let’s see if Steve Ross has the stones to make some firings after this game.
We’re a bad football team. No other way around it.
