The current stars and stripes was designed by a 17 year-old high school student named Robert G heft as a school project. The initial grade he received from his teacher was a B minus.
The teacher agreed to change the grade to an a if the kid could get Congress to accept his design
So Robert G heft being a board teenager from Ohio took on the challenge and started a relentless Mail campaign and eventually when Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the union President Truman selected his design
Unfortunately, too late for the a to matter on his transcripts
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! We’re not perfect (nobody is), but 250 years ago today, we began to strive for a more perfect union.
To date, we live in the greatest country civilization has ever built, albeit still far from perfection. Here’s to another 250 years, built on the dreams of our ‘Founding Fathers’!
Enjoy, celebrate, love, and embrace what was handed down to us! And may we all be good stewards, so as to hand this great country down to our future generations.
BE SAFE OUT THERE! I don’t want to hear any of our Mob blowing off their fingers like Jason Pierre-Paul!
he’s going to be either someone we take for granted on plays he excels and makes us want to pull our hair out, when he loafs OR he’s going to figure out how to play more even kiel and not take olays off
Proctor is such a 99th percentile physical specimen I can see why they reached for him. It’s up to the coaches to teach him how to fix his deficiencies and it’s on him to put in the work but the potential for elite performance is there
Chris Greer reached all the time, but he was giving up quality draft picks to do so throughout his 10 years being here he gave up five or 6/3 and fourth round picks to select bums
I concede that writers and pendants and tracking /Ratingwebsites Are not know all. But I challenge you to find one that rated that tighten a third ground pick
I tend to agree with ya, Tim. Yes, we definitely reached on whipping boy Caleb Douglas. It could be argued that we reached on Will Kacmarek, but I like his selection for doing the unsung dirty work necessary to make a running game THRIVE(!).
There’s also an argument to be made that we didn’t *need* to draft J-Rod in the 2nd round, being our ILB/MLB corps was already very solid. We could have used an EDGE there, instead of yet another ILB/MLB. But with an eye on the future, perhaps we finally found the next great ILB/MLB (you KNOW I’ve been wanting the next Brian Urlacher/Zach Thomas for years!).
I can understand why some feel we reached… it’s all good.
The proof comes out in the pudding 2-3 years from now.
As of right now, I think the current state of our Miami Dolphins is… GOOD!
Plus, he got happy feet and traded away No. 90 pick in exchange for the 49ers’ No. 27 pick and No. 138 pick to take Johnson, who would’ve still been there three pics later.
A lot of you guys overrated OL prospects and as they fell all you did was blame the Dolphins. They weren’t that good. Nobody drafted them as early as your draft simulators. Draftniks share info and then mix it up to make it look original. Teams have national scouts that none of the hacks have. You were indoctrinated about who’s the best based on limited intel. It happens every year. Let me do my mock draft once again! You know nothing about these prospects as people. You just look at numbers.
I look at way more than #’s. So do several others on here. I can’t think of one OL I overrated. Many went within about 10-15 spots of where I thought they would go. Only OL I think fell farther then I thought he should was Dunker. I thought we should have taken him at #75 and instead he went at #96.
We will see on that and where he ranks at the end of the season vs Douglas.
Clearly the author of this article is thinking the Dolphins have no desire to be competitive. We don’t need a legit backup QB because we’re paying Willis starter money and we know for a fact we’re drafting a QB in 2027. That was a waste of a couple of minutes, but it did give me something to post about. lol
Proctor is such a 99th percentile physical specimen
———-
And he was only 20yo when we drafted him, now 21yo.
I will say Douglas was over drafted based on who was still on the board.
Kacmarek as well, but I think he was the most under rated TE. I didn’t agree with draft sites having him that low. Jackson Hawes was rated a 7th rounder, Bills took him 2 rounds earlier and he has been a stud for them. I see the same for Kacmarek even though taken with a late 3rd I think the value will be there.
LMAO! I’m in X prison. It’s hilarious social media these days. I respond to a post with vulgar language with vulgar language back and I get suspended, but the original post is fine. C’mon people, WTF! If you’re going to allow others to behave a certain way you have allow e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e
I don’t do social media…unless this is considered social media….so I claim ignorance. But, my son has told me he’s been kicked off of Twitter…is that just X now?…..multiple times. He says it is pretty easy to get back on….so there that.
I guess I might have to create another account if they kick me off for good. It’s bullshit. This racist asshole made a post and I replied to him, and he complained about it and I get kicked off. Maybe it’s not even worth getting back on . . . I do like discussing sports on X, but I do find I mostly find myself correcting racist assholes with truths, rather than the bullshit they keep spewing
Thanks. This is my homepage. I come here to educate myself on the team because you and a lot of others give information on the team. I rely on folks here keeping me informed.
CB Rasul Douglas plans to sign a one-year deal with Washington worth up to $3.8 million, ESPN reported Monday. Douglas, 30, started 13 of 15 games played for Miami in 2025, tallying 62 tackles, 13 passes defensed, two interceptions and a sack.
———–
He had good production for not even playing a whole season.
Texas will be a team to watch this year. SI’s latest mock draft has Dolphins taking QB Arch Manning #1 overall, but also has 4 Texas players being drafted in the top 9. Depending on the season Texas WR Wingo has, they could have 5 players drafted in the top 10 with 2 of them being WR’s.
They had WR Smith going to Cards and QB Donte Moore going to the Jets.
So with Rasul Douglas signing with the Redskins (on the relative cheap for $3.8M/ 1-year), that should tell us we want to develop from the bevy of CBs we currently have in-house: I don’t see us signing any ‘names’ at the position from here on out.
It also — at least to me — signals that we’re not… taking ourselves too seriously in terms of playoff aspirations in year 1. Translation? The organic tank is on.
In a manner of speaking, this is called WINNING(!) for the future.
I don’t think it is an organic tank. We drafted a CB when we already had a bunch. I think it is more of a matter of letting the young bucks play so Hafley can see what he has going into the 2027 draft. The top 5 CB group looks good for next draft also.
Yeah, we signed some vets at safety and drafted on but we were real thin there unlike CB. We have CB’s coming out our ears.
I don’t think not signing a vet CB is part of an organic tank. Just IMO though.
Next years WR class may be deeper than the QB class.
Jeremiah smith 6’3 223 4.32 OSU, Cam Coleman 6’3 201 4.42 Texas, Ryan Wingo 6’3 214 4.36 Texas, Charlie Becker 6’4 204 4.39 Indiana, Ryan Williams 6’0 175 4.30 Alabama, Nick Marsh 6’3 209 4.38 Indiana, KJ Duff 6’6 225 4.58 Rutgers, Wyatt young 6’0 195 4.42 Oklahoma State, Mike Matthews 6’1 200 4.41 Tennessee, Bryant Wesco 6’2 185, 4.40 Clemson.
There’s another solid 10 after that. It all depends on who enters and who stays for NIL money.
Jeremiah Smith and Charlie Becker were #1 and #2 respectively in Route Rating and Targeting Rating among the top 25 WR’s eligible for the next draft.
One I think could sneak into the top 15 WR’s is new LSU WR Jackson Harris (transfer from Hawaii) 6’3 205 4.40 (reportedly ran a laser timed 4.30 at a freshman camp).
reading that reminds me, that Achane makes our WR room better, because he lines up as a WR at times
so, if our WR room really does blow, why wouldn’t Achane line up more as a WR in passing situations
I other words having the 32nd best WR room in the NFL doesn’t mean we have the worst receivers. I believe we’ll piece work a receiver group together, that may not be ideal, but gets the job done. A bonus to the receivers is the running game, Willis, and possibly the OL
That’s not how it works!
———–
Agreed, in general. But as BBM said in response to you above, some of us actually do our own research instead of strictly following draft simulators.
Can I get some props for my guy Keagen Trost?!! Draft simulators everywhere were projecting him to go late on day 3. My guy went on day 2 (3rd round)!!! I predicted him to go R3P94 (to us), but he went to the Rams one mere pick earlier.
I stand on what MY eyes and ears tell me, not draft simulators.
As of this moment, I’d have no problem using our first pick on Jeremiah Smith. If he balls out again this season, I’m in. But, I gotta see what QB is available at that pick first if it’s a top 5 pick. If it’s between Smith and my 3-4 favorite QB, I think I’m going with Smith.
It’s one of the reasons I wasn’t real happy about spending 2 third rounders on WRs this past draft because we will be in a position, more than likely, to have a chance to draft a fantastic prospect at the position if we aren’t drafting a QB next draft.
sometimes you see what you have in training camp, if the CB group looks bad, you sign a vet. This yr could be different, but not signing Douglas doesn’t automatically assume we’re good with what we have
I really don’t care how they feel about any particular group/position, I wouldn’t sign any aging vets before the season starts. Otherwise, what’s the point of a rebuild?
My rules go out the window for truly elite talent, which Smith appears to be. It’s why I am not happy about not drafting Downs or Ioane.
Again, If we have the first pick in the draft, I’m taking a QB, but if I’m down the list of QBs and Smith is there, I’m taking a potential generational talent. Talent wins games…culture can kiss my ass. Lol
Look at who is on the #1 tandem. M13’s guy (who I liked a ton also) Xavier Watts who we could have easily gotten had we not traded up for Jonah in the 2025 draft. We had a need at safety but waited and took Trader.
Also, in the #4 tandem, it still bothers me we didn’t resign Brandon Jones. Bronco’s got a steal getting him for 3yrs at 20m. He was PFF’s 9th ranked safety in the NFL and ranked 3rd in the NFL in coverage among all safeties in his first season with the Broncos in 2024.
In 2025, Jones had the 3rd highest PFF rating among all safeties.
I loved him for us, heady player, hustle guy…unlike when Wilkins was off doing stupid shit, like sliding into X on the sideline, knocking the fumble OB, instead of just letting X pick it up, or all his rah, nah PFs. While Brandon was running someone down on a hustle play
Say we win 6 or 7 games, I have CJ Carr, 6’3, 210 as my #3 QB. I would take him with a pick starting around pick #8. I actually like his arm much more than Arch Manning’s arm at this point.
My rules go out the window for truly elite talent, which Smith appears to be. It’s why I am not happy about not drafting Downs or Ioane.

As I stated in my original reply to ya, I AGREE with ya, Randy. If Jeremiah Smith is all that and then some, I don’t care about the “Green Bay way”, either!
To me, it would be incredible to pair Jeremiah Smith with Chris Bell! I mean, DAY-UM!!!
However, my expectations are tempered being we know the “Green Bay way” isn’t about drafting WRs early… just ask A-Rod.
Really cool interview with my guy QB Byrum Brown, now the QB of the Clemson Tigers for the ’26 college season. He’s seems to have outstanding character, charisma, thoughtful, and is very well/soft spoken.
Tim, I try to watch as many interviews as I can before vetting a player for us to draft.
I gotcha. When you said “Green Bay Way” I was thinking picking a QB every year regardless….isn’t that one of their things? And I agree….i generally don’t like drafting WRs in the first round.
I see a lot of 12 and 22 personnel. They’re definitely going to try and establish the ground game with Achane and Willis. Chip away and high percentage pass plays. Then take some shots down the field.
I don’t think we have any other choice at this point but to do what you’re suggesting. The problem is that sort of gameplay isn’t winning playoff games. The team will have to develop into a normal NFL offense. Playing the running game and keeping it safe is fine for this year but it’s not a winning formula. Sooner or later….preferably by 2028…we are going to need to open it up if we want to compete at the highest levels.
as soon as we get behind double digits we’ll be passing plenty. The heavy packages are the game plan and are only in play, while it still fits winning using it
what we’re talking about are those games like Atlanta and Buffalo last year, where we ran all over their ass and we’re able to stick with it. That will be the game plan week after week
I wasn’t arguing with Tim. I said something similar weeks ago. My point was sooner or later you need an offense that can get chunk yards through the air…..regardless the score. I wasn’t saying I just wanted more passing. Eventually, you need 2-3 WRs on the field regularly. I don’t like it but that’s reality in today’s NFL.
12 and 22 packages are fine for where this team is now, but it’s not a SB winning strategy. Nobody wins that way anymore. Very few teams use 22 personnel consistently all that much. 12 personnel more, sure…but not 22. Teams don’t like taking WRs off the field anymore.
Most teams use the pass to open up the run nowadays.
we really don’t even have a FB on the roster, there’s some camp fodder guy listed but no one is taking him seriously, so 22 personnel isn’t likely more than occasionally
we all know you have to be able to throw to win. Unlike MMs pass first, pass in short yardage, Slowik will use the running game more strategically
all we’re saying is establish the run, if its working stick with it. There will be games we can’t run it effectively enough and will have to pass more. This O will be #32 for sure, if we’re throwing 45 passes a game. We call it complimentary O, run supports the pass, pass supports the run. One dementional Os can’t succeed, unless you have once in a generation players at QB and WR, we aren’t that
not employing an FB doesn’t mean we won’t use one at times. TEs Kacmarek or Sims would be the likely candidates
———
ABSOLUTELY agreed. And as I’ve mentioned previously in these discussions about the utilization of a FB without having a FB, perhaps we may use a DT (like we had done with Christian Wilkins) to fill the role in certain sits.
I think a FB is just too one dimensional for today’s NFL. Teams just use an HB/TE or something. Unless the FB is a legit factor in a passing game, it’s hard to justify keeping one on the field or roster. If he’s just a blocker…it’s an easy read for defenses. I’m not saying it’s good or bad….its just how the NFL is now.
My whole point is I agree with the sentiment here…but only for this season. I assume that won’t be our offensive philosophy moving forward because it won’t work. It will actually give us a year to focus on and develop an OL and, hopefully, a running game. Perfect…..works for where we are now. You don’t win with 2 TEs on the field anymore, so it’s great for now…but only right now. It’s a building point.
Where are we going from here? I guess that was the conversation I was having in my head. Lol
If you can, let me know who the racist asshole was who got you suspended from X. I’d be more than happy to get him/her suspended for being a racist asshole.
It’s funny, you’d think I’d have paid closer attention. I’m not sure of the OG posters name, and I’m not sure who it was that reported my post either. What I do know is X, and it’s “board” are protecting the wrong people, that much is crystal clear
If you’re talking about telling me something, do it. I don’t do vague bullshit. Speak your mind.
The stats I just looked up say that most teams still employ 3 WRs over 50% of the time….about half do it over 60%. Only 2 teams employ multiple TEs over 50% of the time…..about half the teams do it 30% or less.
I know teams have started going back to heavier packages these days. I assume to counteract the emphasis on smaller, faster defenders in part. This isn’t a black and white issue. Those stats don’t suggest using multiple TEs sets is widespread or used often. It’s more situational and not a staple. It’s still a WR league right now.
I posted an article that stated Bobby Slowick used more Two TE sets when he was OC in Houston than any other team in the league. So that and drafting Kacmarek kind of points to that happening here. At least it does for me. But we shall see.
Randy, we aren’t saying we’re going back to 1950’s football in the NFL, passing is still where you score and win. We’re just saying the trend of using 2 or 3 TEs is going up and we’re setup to increase ours
you have to be able to run and pass, the better teams use the run/pass to compliment each other
we can’t expect to win this yr just running the ball. By running successfully this yr we have a shot at being competitive. It will keep the D honest, while ours stays fresh
I’m fine with whatever rankings. We can play the under the radar underdogs
another is Achane at #8 for RBs
Officiating crews usually officiate in favor of home teams and elite teams, when the 2 collide the elite or much better team gets the call. I hope we don’t get screwed out of the gate, because they think we suck
steveccnv….or anyone here: My BiL is asking if they’ve given a date for the Miami Dolphins’ Garage Day sale this year. I looked it up, but I couldn’t find anything
Krishna, I think it is on August 8th with the Hard Rock Stadium practice but not close to 100% on that. You would think they would have better advertising for it. It is mentioned in about every article with the training camp schedule but no one gives a date.
Whoever is in charge of the Miami Dolphins Foundation should be fired. lol
I checked OURLADS to see their post OTA/Mini camp depth chart. They updated 2 days ago. The team website is garbage regarding the depth chart. I wanted to see their changes in what they thought.
QB – No changes
OL – No changes
WR – No changes and they are keeping Chris Bell as the #2 behind Tolbert and they other 2 rookies as the #2’s in the other boundary and slot. Bottom 3 of the 12 man WR group are Henning, Reagor and McCulley.
RB – They moved Ollie Gordon to #2 RB ahead of Wright. Donovan Edwards remains the #4.
TE – Ben Sims moved ahead of rookie Will Kacmarek for the #2 spot behind Dulcich. Traore still sitting at #4.
Yep, I got all that. My only point was that we will, at some point, need to advance past that. If ya run a lot of heavy packages to attack 225 pound LBers and deep safety looks you need to be able to exploit defenses when they start putting safeties back in the box to stop it. Heavy personnel sets are a reaction to what defenses have done and more 4th downs but most teams still want keep 3 WRs on the field after 1st downs.
We’re good. I wasn’t being cryptic, I just felt like you weren’t understanding what I was plainly telling you. I told you — in reference to WRs (we weren’t talking about QBs!) — that it’s not the “Green Bay way” to draft a WR early, but that I SOOOO agree with you that I’d love to draft the likes of a Jeremiah Smith early.
Gotcha. I thought we were talking about drafting QBs and WRs, so I just thought of QB because I didn’t think of GB’s stance on not drafting WRs high in the draft. Sorry about that, but I’m not sure a “sigh” makes much sense. Just tell me I missed your point!
Remember too that even McDaniel utilized a FB and TE because that’s part of the Shanahan offense. So using two TEs and maybe one as an H-back is probably very likely.
I’m good with whatever we do (like I or any of us have a choice in the matter, LOL), so long as we can manage short-yardage sits with the smaller Brew as our Center.
NO, I don’t seek to even attempt to upgrade from Brew, our All-Pro Center! He’s a stud and a keeper.
Gotcha. I thought we were talking about drafting QBs and WRs, so I just thought of QB because I didn’t think of GB’s stance on not drafting WRs high in the draft. Sorry about that, but I’m not sure a “sigh” makes much sense. Just tell me I missed your point!
———–
Thanks, man! And I’m sorry about the ‘sigh’: frustration got the better of me there and I shouldn’t have done that.
watching Jeremiah Smith highlights for first time, he looks like AJ Brown, doesn’t really jump off the screen validating taking him at #2
didn’t look at the stats, didn’t see a signature TD. He just looks like a top WR for the top WR college OSU. So happy for Brian Hartline’s success as WRs coach
And in those highlights he was only 19yo last season, 18yo starting as a freshman.
He’s 6’3, 223 pounds and clocked a 4.32 as a freshman. Some say he can run a sub 4.3 and was said to be clocked at 23.5 mph in the 2025 offseason. Xavier Worthy’s top speed was 23.62 mph when he ran his 4.21 forty.
As just a freshman and sophomore he has 163 receptions for 2,558 yards and 27 TD’s against the nations toughest competition.
Of the top 25 draft eligible WR’s for 2027 he received the highest route running grade of them all in 2025.
He’s a rare talent and probably the best player in college football right now.
I was just able to get the ticket for the fest game to load into my phone. I have been trying every day since we purchased! I had to down load the app, then and only then would it let me move the ticket into my Apple Wallet.
I tried multiple times after downloading the app but it gave me “it’s not working now try again later” messages!
While you are at it, F DoorDash in the other eye socket!
A restaurant a block away doesn’t have a website to place a to go order. They are always very busy and it’s almost impossible to place a phone order. So I used DoorDash.
The DoorDash site showed the restaurant open. I placed my order and paid the $46 with my card. DoorDash said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I drove to the restaurant and it was closed due to a plumbing issue. I came home and cancelled the order but was still charged the $46 on my card.
I contacted DoorDash and they said they would get back to me via email. I get an email 2 days later saying they couldn’t refund the money but gave me a $23 credit on my next order through DoorDash. Where’s my other 23 F-ing dollars?
I tried to contact them again to tell them that was bullshit but could never talk to a live person and my other messages went unanswered.
Last week, I went to use my DoorDash “credit” to order a pizza and there was no credit to be found. Bastards!!
I used Uber Eats maybe 5 years ago, for a sick co-worker. She never got the food, called the restaurant and they said no Uber driver ever came to pick it up. They said they’d refund the money, but I still got the charge on my CC. Called CC co, they said they’ll research it and took off the charge, after research they left it off my bill. A year later I took an Uber and the food charge reappeared on my card. Went thru process again to get the charge removed. Last year I flew into Qatar and took an Uber to the hotel, food charge showed up again. Never paid for that food, but can’t use Uber now
His overall WR grade over the last 2 years at 92.4 is #1 among all WR’s.
Also, over the last 2 seasons, his 2,558 yards is the most among all WR’s, his 27 TD’s is the most among all WR’s and his 52 explosive plays is the most among all WR’s.
———–
I am just saying right now, for all the BPA draft people, he is that BPA guy. We will just have to watch the 2026 college season play out and see if one of the QB’s take another step up.
I’m surprised you didn’t respond above, regarding Jackson Hawes. HE is the key cog in what makes Buffalo’s ’13-personnel’ work, and with a little bit more time, he’s going to be an even better receiver. I could see him becoming an A+ version of Durham Smythe, who registered as a ‘C+’ TE to me. Hawes is emerging as one of the biggest steals of the ’25 Draft.
Guys I’m just posting the direction I see. It’s not my hope or anything. Offense and defense is so multiple these days. But if you look at the size of the OL and a coaching staff committed to running the football, along with now having a QB who is an elite runner, you can get a feel for how we want a play. WR’s will play for us, lol. That entire room is wide open though. I can’t wait to see the competition.
I totally get ya. What you’re saying makes sense. I was just kinda trying to engage and say that it’s fine for now and even for developing an OL and it works with a mobile QB, but it’s really not how teams play or win. That’s kinda where I was going.
I think over the past, say, 5 years teams have started to adapt to small defenders and safeties pulled out of the box to hamper the passing game. The next phase will be defenses responding. McVay kinda started it, I think, in response to the Fangio type defense with deep safety, umbrella type coverage to contain passing attacks…and in a copycat league other teams tried it too. It’s the ebb and flow of football.
It’s just basic football, really. You wanna play 225 pound linebackers and drop safeties? Ok, the answer is to play more heavy packages and run at those tiny LBers and DEs with no safety help in the box. Make them drop a safety and offenses will exploit it through the air. I don’t see anything new or inventive here. It’s 1980s football.
All that said, it’s just too easy to throw the ball now. You can’t not take advantage of how the rules favor it. It’s a huge advantage….especially if you have nice talent at the skill positions.
I think Fangio with his system really lucked out going to Philly. They have 2 top 10 (one top 5) DT’s in the league to help stymie other teams run game.
Last year, Ohio State had another big receiving target in 1st rounder Carnell Tate. Plus, Ohio State ran the ball 53% of the time.
In 2024, he had to compete with another 1st round pick in Emeka Egbuka along with Carnell Tate and again running the ball 53% of the time. He did it as a freshman catching 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 TD’s to lead the team at 18 years old.
Jeremiah Smith had to make the most of his touches and he has.
Oh, and ball security, he has never fumbled in his college career.
Smith has dropped just three of his 166 catchable targets in two years, yielding a minuscule 1.8% drop rate that is less than half that of any top-10 wide receiver drafted over the past decade. (Per PFF)
M13, I meant to. I was shocked the Bills took Hawes at #173. I was hoping he would last to our pick at #179. Didn’t happen and it looks like the Bills got a steal in the late 5th round.
M – thanks for checking into that guy. I have to tell you that social media gets me so upset these days. I feel like history is repeating itself and if Jews aren’t real careful, we could be watching the beginning of another holocaust
What blows my mind is how openly antisemitic people are and so called liberals just look the other way. Yet we have black people still talking about slavery like it just ended yesterday and we need to talk more seriously about reparations because of the suffering of black people today. We’re definitely in the Twilight Zone.
Talent usually wins in any system, for sure. If you can get effective pressure with 4, it opens up a lot. Plus, he’s got some nice pieces in the secondary too.
I really enjoy watching 2 good coordinators go against each other and the adjustments they make or don’t throughout the game. I’m looking forward to seeing how our new guys do.
two of them may have the same skill set as Malik, but Malik doesn’t have the same skill set as two of them
they are all big pocket passers who can see over the offensive line and move around. Malik has proven nothing and he’s 6 foot one and can’t see over the line Right from his own mouth, quote “I can’t see over the offensive line so I have to guess where the receivers you’re going to be “ and that part of his game is his weakness
I want to see it also. He is one of those strong-armed passers who have just an average deep ball. Just a 62% effectiveness on his deep balls. He doesn’t have a weak arm and his best efficiency rate is on passes 20-35 yards. Not sure if it is something that can be fixed in his mechanics or not.
is that not enough? Because I think those are a little low, if he plays all 17 he’s at least getting 200 yards per game, tds is about right, since we should have a lot on the ground, ints are too high, he’s been careful, rushing stats look about right
BBM been talking up Mestemaker for 2 years now. I have always liked those air raid gunslinger type QB’s. Hope he has worked on hie throwing motion some.
His #1 target also transferred with him to Oklahoma State. Keep an eye on WR Wyatt Young though I think he will be a slot in the NFL and not something we need.
Malik Willis’s primary weaknesses include holding onto the ball too long, which inflates his sack rate, and struggling to quickly read complex NFL coverages. Mechanically, he has a tendency to lower his eyes under pressure, pat the ball, and rely on inconsistent touch on his underneath throws. [1, 2, 3]
Here is a breakdown of his main areas for growth:
Sacks and Pocket Presence: Willis holds the ball for an average of over 3 seconds, which leads to a very high sack rate. He struggles to anticipate pressure and often invites hits that result in drive-killing losses or fumbles. [1]
Reading Coverage: He can still be fooled by complex, deceptive coverages. This occasionally leads to forcing throws into tight windows that result in interceptions. [1, 3]
Throwing Mechanics: Willis sometimes has a “hitch” or “patter” in his throwing motion, giving defenders extra time to anticipate and react to his passes. [1]
Finesse and Touch: While he possesses a massive arm for deep throws, he has struggled with consistency on shorter, touch-based passes and underneath
here’s the kind of shit writers say all the time, that doesn’t make any sense. Oh no, he fumbled on a blindsided hit. Ball security is also ints, which he had 0 last year
Ball security
Willis also has to be better handling the ball. He had two aborted snaps last year, one of which resulted in a turnover. He also lost a fumble in 2024 when he was blindsided by a blitz.
LOL, yeah, I wonder what the fumble rate is for all QB’s when blindsided. I am sure it is high. Some of the bigger QB’s probably fumble less when blindsided like Josh Allen. Allen probably has more fumbles running the ball. I know he did early on in his career.
I’ll try to keep an ear to the Drake Lindsey info up here for you fellas who like him. If he plays Iowa this year, that will be a good test/evaluation. Iowa is going through a kinda transition right now on defense with younger guys, but I’d guess we’ll still be one of the better defenses in college. Top 20….i hope. Lol
I thought Lutmer’s INT off Fernando Mendoza in second half of that game last year was going to be the knife in the back for Indiana, but they pulled it out.
M – thanks for checking into that guy. I have to tell you that social media gets me so upset these days. I feel like history is repeating itself and if Jews aren’t real careful, we could be watching the beginning of another holocaust
———–
You’re most welcome, Miguel de la E. X/Twitter stated that it may take a few days to review his racist/genocidal post (SMH), but as of right now, he’s still on there talking shit… stating that the Jews murdered Charlie Kirk (SMH).
If X/Twitter doesn’t do anything about him soon, I’m reporting him to the FEDs.
My guy GLENN BECK had sounded the alarm about a new and potential holocaust 5 years ago… I thought he may have been over his skis on that one. Per usual, he was RIGHT. I invite you listen to him: his radio show is M-F, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, EST. He had a great show again today, you can find it on YouTube.
I’m pro-human, not nation state (except for our USA, and only under proper leadership, IMO). Last 2 words in my X/Twitter bio? RACIST INTOLERANT. I’m absolutely appalled at what this guy (@CO_187055) has posted.
NOBODY (as an individual) should be judged by the color of their skin or their ethnic background.
One of my good friends is a Glenn Beck fan, as well as other podcasters. Important to stay vigilant, always. I hate racist stuff as well, but I do think the antisemitism is close to an all time high right now. I’m also dismayed that some Jewish people voted in NYC for Mayor Zohran Mamdani. How??? Unconscionable . . .
Both Lauck and Lutmer are good. I think Lauck will end up being better than our current LT. He’s got all the athleticism you need for outside zone, and he’s still nasty in the run game. Very good prospect.
Lutmer is a little more Swiss Army knife. I do like him as a slot corner. Smart kid. Tough player. Not sure where’d I’d value him in the draft yet.
FOIST!
happy Fourth of July from the Canadian border
Whatcha doin in Canada?
ice caught me, and I had the opportunity to self deport
LOL! Well, at least they’re doing their jobs!
Steve, do you really think they’re gonna try to put Johnson at the nickel?
I think you’re gonna put them outside and keep them there at least for his entire rookie season.
the talk is he’ll play both. For years we’ve been killed by slot receivers on 3rd downs
I guess it will depend on the matchup, if there’s a true #1 Johnson will be covering him most of the game
eventually, we are going to have Rodriguez holding down the fort in the middle
our linebackers have been horrible over the years in coverage. That’s all changing now
Nah, i’m in Northern Vermont looking at the Canadian border across the lake from an island on Lake Champlain
I’ve been camping here since the first
I’m tagging off of somebody’s open Wi-Fi right now lol
Independence Day celebration trivia
The current stars and stripes was designed by a 17 year-old high school student named Robert G heft as a school project. The initial grade he received from his teacher was a B minus.
The teacher agreed to change the grade to an a if the kid could get Congress to accept his design
So Robert G heft being a board teenager from Ohio took on the challenge and started a relentless Mail campaign and eventually when Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the union President Truman selected his design
Unfortunately, too late for the a to matter on his transcripts

LOL @ except Buffalo!
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Happy 250th America! Keep up the good fight!

he’s going to be either someone we take for granted on plays he excels and makes us want to pull our hair out, when he loafs OR he’s going to figure out how to play more even kiel and not take olays off
Proctor is such a 99th percentile physical specimen I can see why they reached for him. It’s up to the coaches to teach him how to fix his deficiencies and it’s on him to put in the work but the potential for elite performance is there
that aligns with my 3 part philosophy (that I posted a month ago) on draftees and what makes them successful
with time to reflect I still feel like JES really reached a lot. I mean a lot in this draft
we have no choice but to wait and see how it pans out but man oh man
reaching is arbitrary, our last genius GM always had to get value. How’d that workout
Chris Greer reached all the time, but he was giving up quality draft picks to do so throughout his 10 years being here he gave up five or 6/3 and fourth round picks to select bums
and you might think it’s arbitrary to believe taking somebody 300 spots before he was universally ranked his arbitrary, but the co pick was baffling
Kacmarek dammit, I hate when you get locked out of the cell when you try to edit
we’ll soon see who reached
universal ranking🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I concede that writers and pendants and tracking /Ratingwebsites Are not know all. But I challenge you to find one that rated that tighten a third ground pick
I don’t think Sully reached at all. I guess the whipping boy pick Douglas. Other than that, what pick was a reach?
Kacmarek
Douglas
Plus, he got happy feet and traded away No. 90 pick in exchange for the 49ers’ No. 27 pick and No. 138 pick to take Johnson, who would’ve still been there three pics later.
You’re probably correct on that, Rockphin… Will Johnson would likely have been there for us without the trade up.
For whatever the reason, Sully *WANTED* Will Johnson very badly, and by all means.
Personally, I think he’s going to ROCK for us!
based on what Buffalo did right after we took Johnson, I don’t agree
Johnson at this stage looks to be a steal
Bills are saying Swiper, no swiping

A lot of you guys overrated OL prospects and as they fell all you did was blame the Dolphins. They weren’t that good. Nobody drafted them as early as your draft simulators. Draftniks share info and then mix it up to make it look original. Teams have national scouts that none of the hacks have. You were indoctrinated about who’s the best based on limited intel. It happens every year. Let me do my mock draft once again! You know nothing about these prospects as people. You just look at numbers.
That’s not how it works!
I look at way more than #’s. So do several others on here. I can’t think of one OL I overrated. Many went within about 10-15 spots of where I thought they would go. Only OL I think fell farther then I thought he should was Dunker. I thought we should have taken him at #75 and instead he went at #96.
We will see on that and where he ranks at the end of the season vs Douglas.
https://phinphanatic.com/quinn-ewers-time-with-the-miami-dolphins-could-end-much-sooner-than-expected-01kwj55hm8vj
Clearly the author of this article is thinking the Dolphins have no desire to be competitive. We don’t need a legit backup QB because we’re paying Willis starter money and we know for a fact we’re drafting a QB in 2027. That was a waste of a couple of minutes, but it did give me something to post about. lol
phinphanatic.com was all I needed to read.

Rookies report to TC in 17 days
Even when I tell folks exactly what issues I have with players and those issues come to fruition I’m still told I’m wrong, so what does it matter?
I absorb everything you say. Especially when it comes to the OL. Thank you for that!
MikeE,
I don’t do social media…unless this is considered social media….so I claim ignorance.
I really want to see the mentality of this team. Both sides of the ball. Lots of new faces.
Achane is the main man, most plays. Everyone knows that. Kacmarek is going to be on the field as a 6th tackle and eligible receiver.
Willis and Achane on the field needing to get 10 yards to keep the chains moving. Paul and Proctor are going to maul.
Our first three picks were totally validated. After that we can start to debate stuff.
^
BBM,
Thanks. This is my homepage. I come here to educate myself on the team because you and a lot of others give information on the team. I rely on folks here keeping me informed.
Same here
I think that’s the standard here for most. I’ll see some news and come here to validate it
CB Rasul Douglas plans to sign a one-year deal with Washington worth up to $3.8 million, ESPN reported Monday. Douglas, 30, started 13 of 15 games played for Miami in 2025, tallying 62 tackles, 13 passes defensed, two interceptions and a sack.
———–
He had good production for not even playing a whole season.
NFL scouts stunned by Brandon Aiyuk’s dramatic transformation from engaging teammate to ‘real cancer’
———–
He’s turned into a real basket case and talking his way out of the NFL.
ESPN put out an article from 3 writers projecting the best rosters on paper. Rams are #1, Bills #4, Patriots #7, Jets #25, Dolphins #32.
Here come the underdogs!
All good!
ESPN’s Jordan Reid has the Dolphins taking WR Jeremiah Smith with the 2nd overall pick in the 2027 draft in his 1st early mock.
Tankathon currently has us taking QB Arch Manning with the 1st pick of the 2027 Draft.
Ok, that makes 2 sites, Tankathon and SI.
PFF just projected our Phins to win 3.5 games this season… lowest in the NFL.
When it comes to their Average Wins Projection, the Cards actually beat us out at the worst team: 3.33 to 3.35.
I would be absolutely thrilled to draft a WR early next Draft, to pair with Chris Bell on the outside.
Unfortunately for those ambitions, it doesn’t seem to be the Green Bay way.
me too, it means Willis is for real
in defense of dolphins pride
https://dolphinstalk.com/2026/07/the-hateful-eight-nfl-miami-dolphins-achane/
reading that reminds me, that Achane makes our WR room better, because he lines up as a WR at times
so, if our WR room really does blow, why wouldn’t Achane line up more as a WR in passing situations
I other words having the 32nd best WR room in the NFL doesn’t mean we have the worst receivers. I believe we’ll piece work a receiver group together, that may not be ideal, but gets the job done. A bonus to the receivers is the running game, Willis, and possibly the OL
Barring potential FA acquisitions going into ’27, I see (in no particular order, mind ya) the following positions as high on our Draft wants/needs…
EDGE, S, TE, OT or OG (depends on who goes where after Austin Jackson is finished with us), QB (contingent upon Malik’s results in ’26), and WR.
And contingent upon our CB’s performances in ’26, CB.

Doing mock drafts ain’t my thing, but I enjoy seeing them….all 7000 of them. Lol
that’s exactly my stance
BBM,
As of this moment, I’d have no problem using our first pick on Jeremiah Smith.
It just doesn’t seem to be the “Green Bay way”, as I stated above.
But I agree with you on Jeremiah Smith, if he balls out again this season.
if we get #1 or #2 pick I’d rather trade back, assuming Willis is our franchise QB
that is an assumption. I hate hearing.
he’s not a true FA signing, since he was from GB like Haf/Sully. They know what they have in Willis and believe in him.
I think he is what we’ve seen from GB. It doesn’t mean he’ll perform that way in 2026, but once we put a team around him he should be that
sometimes you see what you have in training camp, if the CB group looks bad, you sign a vet. This yr could be different, but not signing Douglas doesn’t automatically assume we’re good with what we have
I really don’t care how they feel about any particular group/position, I wouldn’t sign any aging vets before the season starts. Otherwise, what’s the point of a rebuild?
M13,
My rules go out the window for truly elite talent, which Smith appears to be. It’s why I am not happy about not drafting Downs or Ioane.
Again, If we have the first pick in the draft, I’m taking a QB, but if I’m down the list of QBs and Smith is there, I’m taking a potential generational talent. Talent wins games…culture can kiss my ass. Lol
I hope they aren’t counting on Willis! At this point, I think we have to assume we’re drafting a quarterback.
I wouldn’t want Jordan Love And they have his backup that was not ever going to push him out.
good news for you is they don’t have to count on him past this year
surely after the season they’ll re-evaluate everyone
^
interesting how high they have Douglas. Kacmarek, and the top 3 pick not listed yet.

we were shunned, must’ve been ranked just out of the top 5🤣
https://www.si.com/nfl/ranking-best-safety-duos-2026
Thank you for the shout-out, Bro! 🙂
Jones benefitted from Donkies passrush
I loved him for us, heady player, hustle guy…unlike when Wilkins was off doing stupid shit, like sliding into X on the sideline, knocking the fumble OB, instead of just letting X pick it up, or all his rah, nah PFs. While Brandon was running someone down on a hustle play
Say we win 6 or 7 games, I have CJ Carr, 6’3, 210 as my #3 QB. I would take him with a pick starting around pick #8. I actually like his arm much more than Arch Manning’s arm at this point.

He’s got some good WR’s to throw to at Clemson. One may be a 1st rounder and the other an early to mid 2nd rounder.
M13,
I gotcha. When you said “Green Bay Way” I was thinking picking a QB every year regardless….isn’t that one of their things? And I agree….i generally don’t like drafting WRs in the first round.
*sigh*
I see a lot of 12 and 22 personnel. They’re definitely going to try and establish the ground game with Achane and Willis. Chip away and high percentage pass plays. Then take some shots down the field.
we’ve been pretty on the same things, I’ve mentioned the heavy packages plenty
Tim,
I don’t think we have any other choice at this point but to do what you’re suggesting.
That will be the game plan week after week
steve,
I wasn’t arguing with Tim.
One dementional Os can’t succeed, unless you have once in a generation players at QB and WR, we aren’t that
the only things holding me back with this team are the brutal schedule and scheduling, and experience.
OL is intriguing, as is Willis and rookie defenders. If we don’t get bit hard by the rookie mistakes, we could actually be competitive
lookout in 2027😜
I absolutely agree with Steve above: that is my belief of what our ’26 Phins’ Offense will look like.
Just please… PLEASE, don’t get Achane killed in the process. That’s all I ask.
If we’re going to be a run-heavy team and not employ a FB, then we’ll need to add a 4th RB.
That’s what I was saying a few weeks ago, 4 RB and no FB on the roster. It should be Donovan Edwards.
Yes… Donovan Edwards would be nice to retain as our 4th RB.
not employing an FB doesn’t mean we won’t use one at times.

Too bad General Grief got rid of RB Chris Brooks. Why? He was the 2nd best run-blocking RB last year per PFF.
We wouldn’t need a FB… just put he and Achane in the backfield together, allowing Brooks to plow for Achane.
And who was PFF’s #1 run-blocking RB of last year? None other than Aaron Jones… another (former) Green Bay Packer, like Chris Brooks.
We’re likely looking for a run-blocking RB.
Could FA RB Hassan Haskins be on our radar?
PFF’s #11 run-blocking RB from last season, and Spotrac has him projected to go for $1.4M (one season) on the open market.
6’2″, 228. Former Wolverine. Drafted in the 4th round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Only reason I posted his Michigan highlights was to show you his physicality. Dude displays dominance.
steve,
I think a FB is just too one dimensional for today’s NFL.
Lol
you haven’t been paying attention, it’s been a recent trend teams are using more 12 and 13 personnel
I don’t like employing an FB as a fulltime position like we’ve been using one
The Dolphins announced they will have eight training camp practices open to the public and one exclusively for summer ticket holders.
Aug 6th and 7th I’m going
steve,
The Rams maybe but that’s about it. It is coming back a bit but it’s far from becoming standard….and TE is kinda relative these days.
Steve,
Do you want me to tell him?!! LOL
SHEESH!!! 🤪
Mike E,
If you can, let me know who the racist asshole was who got you suspended from X.
M13,
If you’re talking about telling me something, do it.
If I’m missing something please tell me.
Kyle Crabbs is mad at the Dolphins pre season offensive line rankings.
Thank for any info on this.
Krishna, I think it is on August 8th with the Hard Rock Stadium practice but not close to 100% on that. You would think they would have better advertising for it. It is mentioned in about every article with the training camp schedule but no one gives a date.
Whoever is in charge of the Miami Dolphins Foundation should be fired. lol
The 2026 Miami Dolphins Foundation Garage Sale is taking place over two days: August 2 (Member Day) and August 3. [1]
Thank you!!! I will pass it on!
M – I actually went back and found the email the “X support team” sent me. The guys handle is @CO_187055
I can’t even look him up, he must have me blocked somehow
Tim,
I don’t even know what to say around here anymore. I didn’t see any article, so, as I said the first time, I agree.
steve,
Yep, I got all that.
That’s all I was saying.
that’s a given
OURLADS changes on defense. With a 4-3 base, they still only have everyone listed under WLB and MLB, no SLB. Not sure why.
LDE – No changes. Chop at #1. Rookie Mason Rieger stayed put at #4.
LDT – Grant #1 and Phillips #2. UDFA rookie Rene Konga moved up to #3.
RDT – No changes. Still Sieler, Biggers then Matthew Butler.
RDE – No changes. Uche at #1 followed by rookie Trey Moore then Cam Goode.
WLB – Dodson is #1. Kyle Louis moved up to #2 ahead of Ronnie Harrison.
MLB – No changes. Still Brooks, Rodriguez, Gay Jr. and Woodard.
LCB – No changes. Rookie Chris Johnson #1 and Darrell Baker #2
SS – No changes. Trader #1 and Zayne Anderson #2
FS – No changes. Lonnie Johnson #1 followed by rookies Taaffe and Louis Moore. Major Burns has now been added so we will see what happens there.
RCB – Juju Brents still #1. Alex Austin replaced Storm Duck as the #2.
NB – No changes. Jason Marshal #1 and Ethan Robinson #2.

Found him and read some of his posts… he IS a racist asshole. I’ve reported him to Twitter and we’ll see if they take any action.
Randy,
It just kind of unraveled from there, LOL! 🙂
Frustrating to not get a point to register.
M13,
Gotcha. I thought we were talking about drafting QBs and WRs, so I just thought of QB because I didn’t think of GB’s stance on not drafting WRs high in the draft. Sorry about that, but I’m not sure a “sigh” makes much sense. Just tell me I missed your point!
NO
Just answering the headline without watching the video.
before watching I’m interested in seeing what Ryder thinks of his vision or lack of
Remember too that even McDaniel utilized a FB and TE because that’s part of the Shanahan offense.

Thanks, man! And I’m sorry about the ‘sigh’: frustration got the better of me there and I shouldn’t have done that.
We’re good! I appreciate ya, sir.
watching Jeremiah Smith highlights for first time, he looks like AJ Brown, doesn’t really jump off the screen validating taking him at #2
didn’t look at the stats, didn’t see a signature TD. He just looks like a top WR for the top WR college OSU. So happy for Brian Hartline’s success as WRs coach
We’ll see what happens this college season, Brother. And, we’ll see if we must upgrade from Malik Willis this NFL season.
Obviously, QB > WR in terms of importance and pecking order.
He’s a rare talent and probably the best player in college football right now.
well, that changes things. His speed doesn’t show up in the highlights I saw
This one goes out to BBM,
Most Efficient Personnel Groupings in 2025 + per
@FantasyPtsData
1. Bills in 13 personnel (0.400 EPA/Play) 2. Ravens in 21 personnel (0.237) 3. Rams in 13 personnel (0.234) 4. Patriots in 11 personnel (0.212) 5. Seahawks in 12 personnel (0.203) 6. Colts in 12 personnel (0.196)
FINALLY!!
I was just able to get the ticket for the fest game to load into my phone. I have been trying every day since we purchased! I had to down load the app, then and only then would it let me move the ticket into my Apple Wallet.
I tried multiple times after downloading the app but it gave me “it’s not working now try again later” messages!
F Ticket Master in the eye socket!
Never paid for that food, but can’t use Uber now
That’s weird. Damn!
More on Smith:
His overall WR grade over the last 2 years at 92.4 is #1 among all WR’s.
Also, over the last 2 seasons, his 2,558 yards is the most among all WR’s, his 27 TD’s is the most among all WR’s and his 52 explosive plays is the most among all WR’s.
———–
I am just saying right now, for all the BPA draft people, he is that BPA guy. We will just have to watch the 2026 college season play out and see if one of the QB’s take another step up.
Besides, he’s from Miami Gardens. lol
stats can be misleading playing for OSU. Guys will load up the soft part of schedule
BBM,
I’m surprised you didn’t respond above, regarding Jackson Hawes.
YOU nailed him, Brother! PROPS!
I can’t wait to see the competition.
where do you get “elite” from?
video, game tape, watching live, listening to experts…🤣
Willis an elite runner not QB. Is that okay?
he’s absolutely an elite runner with 4.37 speed
Tim,
I totally get ya.
Rock, you said, you like pocket passers, but don’t like Love
who is your prototypical QB?
Rock’s fav pocket passer will be Drake Lindsey from Minnesota after this college season. lol
stats can be misleading playing for OSU
————-
Last year, Ohio State had another big receiving target in 1st rounder Carnell Tate.
(Per PFF)
he seems to be all that, just pointing out what I saw and the fact, that playing for a powerhouse allows the gaudy stats
which kicker do you want in FF? Probably the one on an O, that scores lots of pts, same applies here
I’d also like to add his hands are elite, looks like he’s catching cotton balls
BBM,
Talent usually wins in any system, for sure. If you can get effective pressure with 4, it opens up a lot. Plus, he’s got some nice pieces in the secondary too.
I really enjoy watching 2 good coordinators go against each other and the adjustments they make or don’t throughout the game. I’m looking forward to seeing how our new guys do.
Same here! It was so frustrating watching our coordinators not make adjustments second half, mainly on offense.
STEVE, an answer to your question above;
Josh Allen, Jered Goff, Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert
those guys don’t grow on trees, and 2 of them have the same skill set as Malik
from the pocket Allen isn’t all that accurate at times, its usually his running, that makes him different
two of them may have the same skill set as Malik, but Malik doesn’t have the same skill set as two of them
they are all big pocket passers who can see over the offensive line and move around. Malik has proven nothing and he’s 6 foot one and can’t see over the line
Right from his own mouth, quote “I can’t see over the offensive line so I have to guess where the receivers you’re going to be “ and that part of his game is his weakness
Crabbs did a video yesterday discussing our breakout player, based on a piece by ESPN doing all 32 teams
not sure how a team in our situation can have only 1
when he started I assumed he was comparing PP (ESPNs choice) to Jonah, that wasn’t correct
I’d say we have several breakout candidates. breakout candidates usually have opportunity and look to take the next step
my breakout candidates are Dulcich, Jonah, Trader, Grant, Brents, Malik and Malik
they won’t all breakout. Dulcich and both Maliks seem to be primed to breakout
the college teammates, both have the desire and football smarts
I think both have really good seasons.
BBM, I am interested in seeing how much Drake Lindsey developed this year
Physically, he has the prototypical Traits that I like Although his throwing power is lacking for someone his size.
I think Rodriguez is going to force his way onto the field sooner rather than later
he is my breakout candidate
can a rookie be a breakout candidate?
if so I’d all the top 3 rd picks
THUMBSTACHE FOR PRESIDENT
give it a few months
I don’t think either of the Malik’s are gonna put up enough numbers to be considered a breakout this year
Crabbs says 3200 yards, 20 tds, 11 ints, 500 rushing yards 5tds
is that not enough? Because I think those are a little low, if he plays all 17 he’s at least getting 200 yards per game, tds is about right, since we should have a lot on the ground, ints are too high, he’s been careful, rushing stats look about right
I don’t see 3200 yards passing. I will take the under on that.
BBM
top of my list, now keep in mind. I don’t really watch college football, Or the following. not necessarily in order
Dante Moore
Drew Mestemaker
DJ Lagway
Drake Lindsey
for whatever reason I have a bad feeling about arch Manning
Lagway is a dark horse and one to keep an eye on.
Responded about Drake Lindsey above.
I would add CJ Carr to your list though not sure about his deep ball.
I think physical limitations will hold back Malik Washington and inability to process quickly will hold back Malik Willis
I think he will also have the same size issue Tua has in seeing the field.
yes, but he can move, so it should negate the issues Tua had with height
I agree on Washington, however his college tape says otherwise. He should start off hot, because of lack of others, then tail off some
from all accounts, he processes quickly
unless you believe AI
Malik Willis’s primary weaknesses include holding onto the ball too long, which inflates his sack rate, and struggling to quickly read complex NFL coverages. Mechanically, he has a tendency to lower his eyes under pressure, pat the ball, and rely on inconsistent touch on his underneath throws. [1, 2, 3]
Here is a breakdown of his main areas for growth:
here’s the kind of shit writers say all the time, that doesn’t make any sense.
Lol
Hard to make a call on that Iowa defense this year. They did bring in some experienced transfers at Safety and to add depth.
Two players I really like from this year’s Iowa team are OT Trevor Lauck and Safety/NB/CB Zach Lutmer.
I think Trevor Lauck could play anywhere on the OL but would like to hear your take on that.
I think Lutmer could be a chess piece in the secondary. He’s got good size at 6’0, 205. He reminds me a little of Cooper DeJean.
We do know they will be well coached.
I thought Lutmer’s INT off Fernando Mendoza in second half of that game last year was going to be the knife in the back for Indiana, but they pulled it out.

How??? Unconscionable . . .

NEW BLOG UP!!!!
Who would name their child Tramendous? At least spell it right. lol

BBM,
Both Lauck and Lutmer are good.
