What Make Hulk Angry: January 27, 2015

incredible-hulk

By Dr. Bruce Banner

Hulk back to writing. Hulk took some time to hopefully cool off from typical end ofseason disappointment so that Hulk may calm down and relax. But you know what? It no help. Hulk still angry. Hulk always be angry. Here is what make Hulk angry now:

Cheaters. Hulk angry at cheaters and that this year’s Super Bowl is a testament to the fact that cheating pays off and will be rewarded. This now Patriots 3rd time caught cheating. They stole other teams’ signs. League says bad, don’t do it again and we will destroy the evidence. Patriots caught video taping other team’s walk through. Nothing happens. Now Patriots caught deflating balls in Championship game. Hulk no want to hear that it had no effect on game. That not the point, the point is that Patriots cheat and break rules even when they don’t have to.

Seahawks no better. In recent years 65% of players suspended for PEDs have been Seahawks. Hulk no think that a coincidence. Hulk no believe that coach Carroll no know about his players cheating so often. Coach Carroll no different than coach Bellicheat. He always look for advantage like paying all his college players to play game when he no supposed to. He cheat in college and no surprise his team What Make Hulk Angry?caught cheating at pro level. Hulk no even want to watch Super Bowl this year because no matter who wins it proves that cheating pays off and that make Hulk angry.

Hulk also angry that coach Coyle is still defensive coordinator despite his pussy two and three man pass rush defensive schemes that cost Hulk’s Phins wins in Detroit and Denver games. Hulk even angrier that coach Coyle kept when other good defensive coordinators available this year. Like coach Fangio from 49ers, or coach Schwartz from Bills or coach Nolan from Falcons. Hulk no want to hear about Falcons bad D last year. Falcons have terrible personel on D, that why FO all changed there. Coach Nolan can coach D. All these coaches have proven track records as defensive coordinators. All were available and yet we still have Kevin Coyle.

Hulk also angry that Mr. Ross now hire Mike Tannebaum. Hulk angry that it marginalizes Dennis Hickey in Dolphins organization. Hulk like Dennis Hickey, he 1st GM that actually draft 2 impact rookies for Dolphins in long time. But to make things even worse the hire is Mike Tannebaum, the man behind the collapse of the Jets roster over the last several years. This is the Mike Tannebaum that decided to trade for and put all his hopes on Brett Favre as Jets QB. This is the GM that decided to trade up for Mark Sanchez. This is the same GM that decided to extend contract on Mark Sanchez in one of dumbest contracts ever that put Jets into salary cap hell. This is the same GM that thought it was good idea to sign Tim Tebow when no one else wanted him. This is the man that now runs our football operations. That make Hulk very angry.

But Hulk not all angry right now. You know what make Hulk happy? Beautiful new website and seeing old friends. That make Hulk much happier:

I think the last time there was a 2nd blog he said he had to be loyal to Walker. It’s just my guess.

well that is just silly. i mean if you are being loyal to the first blog shouldnt he have never left the SS. but ok, his loss.

Got the name fixed, but doesn’t seem to want to let me choose an avatar?

  7. stangerx says:

So just finished talking to my Dad. Called him yesterday to get ready for the storm.
He proudly told me, “Not nearly as bad as what you were saying. The winds didn’t blow the trees down and we only got a foot.”

He was throwing it in my face that I was a pathetically worried ninny……the little voice in my mind was going, “ain’t Florida a great place to live.”

  8. stangerx says:

DRG — great to see you bud.

  9. Ken says:

    DRG:
When you changed name I had to moderate again. You should be able to get your avatar thru my profile again. That’s how I found mine again.

  10. drg says:

Son, Stanger, good to talk to you guys. Sorry I don’t have a long break, but wanted to get set up. Two blogs now? Good thing I’m used to the polygamous/polyblogous lifestyle already….

  11. Mike E. says:

UK – Sorry I missed you twice now. I had to shovel the damn driveway. I’m exhausted, and I’m feeling old. Cheers UK!

  12. drg says:

Ken what do I select for an avatar? Tried photo gallery and background but no luck. Thanks for the help.

    • Mike E. says:

Go to gravatar.com, and then you can upload any picture you like once you login. Either from the internet, or or your own personal photos. You can do the waterskiing pic if you like.

  13. Mike E. says:

Hey DRG – Cheers to you as well! You can share some of that spray above!

  14. stangerx says:

Ken — how hard did you get hit?

  15. drg says:

Thanks guys, will get it done and check in another time. Would be a shame to lose touch with each other. When the Fins finally win a championship I will be on here for 24 hours straight. No one else understands this unhealthy obsession!

Eventually they said “yeah i know we have a couple more days of the draft planned guys, but the Dolphins own all the rest of the picks so i guess Dolphins just go pick the rest of the guys ya want and then tell the rest of the teams when they can contact people for UDFA”

  18. Mike E. says:

LOL D! I did my first draft today. I took Ogbuehi in the 3rd as well. I got a B+ I forgot which pick it was, but I got a C+ on one, that brought it down.

    • D says:

Yeah, his stock has really dropped on that site, not sure in general but he use to be considered a for sure top 10 guy, next in the line of past three drafts where a TA&M OT was going to be very high first rounder, but he is dropping like a rock.

  19. naplesfan2010 says:

I am happily amazed at all the talent that will be available this year at our round one spot.
I am torn between risky-man Green-Beckham or one of the other 3 tall WRs who will still be there or going with a DT like Eddie Goldman or Malcolm Brown or even a reach like Jordan Philips or do we shoot for the Super Bowl with Melvin Gordon?

    • D says:

WR’s is one of the deepest pools i have seen in a while, first round talent deep into the second, second round talent into the 4th. Very very deep draft. RB’s are too, top talent into the third, solid prospects all the way into the 6th or so (i don’t see any worth a first though, even Gordon). DT’s TE’s QB’s all really really shallow draft. Couple DT are starting to show some elite skills and combine will probably help some more rise up, but for most part, DT starting talent is very limited, and ones you can realistically expect to be able to even rotate in first year is also very limited. OL talent isn’t stand out either. I agree with you about the play-making talent but this draft is kinda weird in i think we will have to have a really strong strategy towards the positions we pick and the values we have on people to get through this draft and get as many contributors as we can. Hickey has his work cut out for him.

  20. The Flying Pig says:

    Lol@ D 53 man draft

  21. son of a son of a shula says:

Welcome Naples glad you made it here

  22. Mike E. says:

Hey Naples! I think we’ll have a lot of choices at #14, a lot of good ones!

    • D says:

I do feel really confident in the 14 pick having someone or some option there. I think we are going to get trade offers and i think this is a year we could really use a a trade back unless we just have something special fall in our laps. I couldnt trade back if Parker falls to us, or White. Outsie of those guys id take my chances of trading back, have a fallback option and a second draft strategy lined up if we hd to switch gears but overall i think 14 is a pretty sweet place to be this year.

  23. son of a son of a shula says:

I torn at who I’d like at 14,
What do you think of Shaq Thompson at 14 Naples?

  24. stangerx says:

You know I want all you guys to move to Florida. Have made the reasons clear, but one thing I forgot to add is when I say FL I mean East Coast of Fl. The West coast is for Mid-Westerners and hicks…..shiot………Nice to see you Naples. 🙂

  25. naplesfan2010 says:

yeh i found you guys … you can run but you can’t hide.

  26. Baphomet Tim says:

    That draft is silly.

  27. naplesfan2010 says:

greetings Mike E and Son and FU Stangboy

  28. naplesfan2010 says:

Son I know Shaq is a good player, but I think we got enough at OLB/DE.
I think we need a MLB type ILB way more but Benardrick McKinney did not look good against GTech but then who does?
He still might be the guy or Perryman if he would only fall to us in the 2nd.

    • D says:

McKinney is still the best ILB, Perryman though proved he will also be a good option, and would fit a draft strategy for me if i were GM. He would definately be my 2nd round option for ILB if i took a WR with the first pick. Im not wanting to venture much deeper than 3rd round for an ILB selection, and hope Hickey is in pretty much same mindset.

  29. naplesfan2010 says:

This new blog is the story of my life ya know? all the cool guys leave the room soon as I come in and get a beer … now i gotta stalk y’all onto the back porch where the smokes smell funny right after i said i don’t smoke.

  30. D says:

You guys should all appreciate the work and patience that draft took…..longest first pick draft EVAH!

  31. naplesfan2010 says:

ILB is not deep at all and there is not a sure thing QB in the whole draft. I also don’t like any of the TEs at all. I’d like to grab Connor Halliday in the 7th if he is still there as i think he would make a great Earl Morrall type career backup.

    • D says:

QB’s you are right, i believe there are several who will be decent backups in the NFL but nothing more. Even Bridge who i really like, and think e has a lot of tools to work with, i just dont know that he can make that jump.

  32. son of a son of a shula says:

I like Gurley if we go RB early, Gordon doesn’t really do it for me. Go big or go home.

    • D says:

When you get a comparison to Marshawn Lynch, thats a good thing, but he does have a ton of wear on the tires, and he has had an injury each of the past 3 seasons. That does concern me but not enough to pass on him if the draft value is there. Id be really tempted to pull the trigger at r2p14, and if we had a trade back second 2nd id be all over it with that one.

RB is one of the big reason for me on the trade back is the mocks i do i know aren’t how its going to go down in the real one, and a lot of the value on this guy or that guy are off by a good bit, but what it does kinda let ya see if how flexible you can be with your draft strategies and how easy/hard it will be to fill the holes on your team given the restrictions of X number of picks.

What i keep finding is when i force myself to a no trade draft, i get good picks but i leave some holes filled with players i don’t think there are guarantees will be able to start right off. Hold where we really could use a guy who will if anything compete to start. Every time i do a trade back, im able to get people i feel get us to that place. This doesn’t tell me trades will be possible or which trades we would have a shot at, but does tell me trading back would be a very strong consideration at 14. RB is one of the positions i would like to use a higher pick for, but when i dont trade back im always looking at a guy who fills one of our other holds better and i wind up seeing RB as luxury i wait on until a later round. Trade back lets us be more aggressive there..

  33. naplesfan2010 says:

There are other RBs I am interested in as complements to Miller. I think we need one of those human bowling ball types that are so short the DL loses them until they pop out 8 yds downfield.

  34. The Flying Pig says:

    Welcome to the blog Naples
    Good to see you

I don’t care much got Goldman
But I guess there is a chance Danny Shelton falls to 14
    I like the big WRs
We can get a very good player at 14
We need to make a good pick

  35. naplesfan2010 says:

I like Mike Davis and Terrance McGee both at 5’9 and 220. very hard to tackle

  36. Mike E. says:

GOOD EVENING FELLOW FIN FANS; SEE HERDFAN got my avi hooked up to my name; NEAT-O!!!
HERD: Of course you have my permission to run any of the episodes from “ABSOLUTE PERFECTION” or “FOLLOWING PERFECTION.” —I’m sure there are several members of the new site who have NOT seen some of them and might enjoy reading the accounts of an Old Dolfan who was there!!

  38. Mike E. says:

Hey OD! Pleasure to have you here!

    • olddolphan says:

Hi, Mike E!! – – At my age, it’s a pleasure to be ANYWHERE!! –Seriously, I went to a convention in central Georgia last week and did not return until Sunday night. – – The show was a bit tiring because my better half could not go with me AND the show was busier than expected due to the recent run-up of gold from $1193 Jan. 1 to around $1300 the first day of the show. Not surprisingly, the owners of counterfeit gold coins were out in force. While others just wanted their genuine coins certified, which is what my company is all about.

Seems like every time I’m away for several days the shit hits the fan on Dolphin blogs!!—Sure is great to be a small part of this one. –HOPE every Dolfan in the northeast is safe and sound. –In Tampa, we had a mostly sunny day with highs near 70. –But I DID experience 1 day in Georgia when there was a touch of ice on the windshields when I got up in the morning. –BOY, you should see those rednecks driving on the ice!!

FINALLY, GREAT JOB TO DR. BRUCE BANNER!! – – KEN, I agree with everything you say, especially concerning Ross’s brain dead act of hiring the man who destroyed the Jets’ franchise, none other than Tannenbaum himself. –A local Dolfan here in Tampa said “It would have been less damaging if Ross had rehired Ireland!!

  39. naplesfan2010 says:

    CBS says:
Goldman carries his 320 pounds well, sporting broad shoulders, a big bubble and thick limbs. He’s quick off the snap, shooting his hands into the chest of opponents and showing good upper-body strength to extend and control.

Goldman plays with his knees bent and does a nice job of anchoring at the line of scrimmage, rarely getting pushed back. Good balance to keep his feet while stringing plays out wide. Long and strong enough to set the edge as a defensive end. He has the leg drive to bull rush interior linemen deep into the pocket and can surprise quarterbacks with his quickness to close.

Locates the ball quickly and does a nice job of latching onto ballcarriers as they attempt to run by, showing the reach and strength to pull them down or pop the ball out (Clemson). Scheme and position diverse. Just scratching the surface of his potential.

  40. Mike E. says:

OD – You’re as big a part of this blog as anyone else that comes here. Seriously!

    • olddolphan says:

YOU ARE TOO KIND, Mike!! – – Hope you and your family are OK. –And hoping you and family might make it to Sun Baked Stadium for this year’s get-together!!

TWO F.Y.I’s for this site. #1) Miss Gigi called me at home on my birthday and informed me about her pending move to California. Congratulated her on finding a REAL MAN who is worth moving from the east coast to the west coast. Seems like her new job is a nice step up for her, too –Guessing we’ll continue to hear from her on this site.

#2) Your’s truly is now the President of Florida United Numismatists (A.K.A. “FUN”). –I held this position in 1989 and 1990. –Never thought I’d return to the top job, especially after a 25 year run as a board member. BUT, here I am, the past and present PRESIDENT OF FUN! –We put on the world’s largest coin convention which, this year, was put on at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando Jan. 7-12. –Next January, our largest show ever will take place early January in the Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa, just a few blocks from Amalie Arena, the home of the NHL’s Lightning. –SO-O-O, in addition to my job, I’ve got PLENTY TO KEEP ME BUSY!!

  46. professor lou says:

I like Stephone Anthony at MLB. We shore up the d-line with a better DT to stop the run and our LB’s become better.
Then we should be able to come away with two receivers out of the following group:
    Strong
    Hardy
    Lockett
    Montgomery
    Perriman
    Dorsett
    Mayle
    McBride
and if we could land one of the better guards like Cann or Tomlinson we’re looking good.
Then, If we can get someone like David Johnson or Cameron Stingily at the rb position and top it off with Quandre Diggs to replace Jimmy Makes Plays we’re looking good.
Taylor Kelly to replace Matt Moore and that’s it. Not asking for much.

  47. son of a son of a shula says:

Enjoy your Presidency OD it sounds like FUN, lol.
Glad you made it here and we’re looking forward to seeing more of Absolute Perfection again tomorrow.

  53. Ken says:

how about hassan whiteside from Miami Heat and former Marshall Herd alumni. He’s the guy who had 12 blocked shots in 23 minutes played. He couldn’t get a workout with any nba teams but keep practicing. He looks like he may be a keeper

    • The Flying Pig says:

He looks to be the real deal
Spolstra said sometimes big men take time to develop
And that seems to be the Case with him

Now the Heat have a young shit blocker at their disposal
Most nba teams don’t have that luxury

    • jetsssuck says:

dude had a off game where he scored only 16 points along with 16 rebounds. If he continues to shine Spolstra will have to give him more minutes. Big Line up with Bosh, bird man, and whiteside?

      • The Flying Pig says:

With a front line like that they might be able to make waves in the post season
I love what the Heat are doing these days

  63. Mike E. says:

M – You were properly welcomed last night. Not sure what gives you that impression.

  64. getterdone says:

MF13, don’t say that…you’re joking right? Come back and kick it here some with us all. I like your insight, my brother from a different mother!
    Hope you reconsider.

  65. Mike E. says:

    Wyo
Just curious, mostly because I did a few drafts today. Do you take players because you think they’re good fits for our team, or because the site values them highly, and therefore you will get a good grade?

    • wyoming85 says:

I use there best players available most of the time
But I have looked into most of them already!
If you click there name it gives you links to their NFL.com profile & videos

      • Mike E. says:

I know. I did plenty last year. I just find myself taking players I know will gave a good grade, even if sometimes it’s a double up on a particular position, or even a position we don’t really need, which kind of makes the game unrealistic. It would be great if it truly gave you recognition points for not only filling needs, but filling them with the BPA. I guess that’s impossible, it would have to be a very advanced program.

      • D says:

Well they woukd also have to get tge team needs right. Most everyone feels out team needs are wr ilb and s, the site has us down as ot cb and olb. I woukda accdpted dt as one of the top three even though I disagree but the positions tgey listed are way lower

  66. wyoming85 says:

    Mike E
I’m not always to serious about it!
I tried to have an all Collins draft yesterday! 😉

    Landon Collins, SS, Alabama
    La’el Collins, OT, LSU
    Jalen Collins, CB, LSU

  67. wyoming85 says:

    Later Haters!

  68. Mike E. says:

Later Wyo! LMAO @ the All Collins draft!

  69. professor lou says:

    First two sleepers of draft:
    At WR: Jarrod West, Syracuse
    AT RB: Cameron Stingily, NIU

  70. Mike E. says:

D – I agree. DT, ILB, WR, S and CB as well as either a G or T seem to be our needs. You can even add RB to that list, like a bruising RB to complement MillerTime

  71. getterdone says:

So if/when Matt Moore leaves to try and be a starter somewhere…I wonder what Hickey’s plan is…we are already Cap strung for now, and need what we will have to sign bigger needs elsewhere. instead of tying up too much money in a FA vet backup QB.
Surely MBT isn’t the answer….ya also hate to spend a draft pick on a QB unless you pick up extra picks.
As I’ve mentioned before, I really am intrigued by Connor Halliday, he will likely go undrafted after that bad ankle break towards the last game this year, so he could be a UDFA steal.
We could pick up some comp picks too after we lose some guys in FA as well.

Just random thoughts that keep bugging me.

    Go Hickey! http://www.smiley-lol.com/smiley/heureux/clap2.gif

  72. Mike E. says:

I don’t think we’ll look for a QB in the draft to be our backup, we’ll have to sign a vet if/when Moore leaves.

  73. Mike E. says:

What do you guys think of Gerod Holliman for us?

  74. son of a son of a shula says:

M, Of course you don’t feel welcome here because the first thing you said was, ‘I don’t feel welcome here” before anyone could even welcome you here. I don’t know what would give you that impression, when you feel differently try again.

  75. getterdone says:

Son, I rather give Blaine Gabbert a chance with Lazor than I would Jake Hurt Locker.

    • son of a son of a shula says:

Riding the bench is the best way to keep locker healthy. Should he need to play we wouldn’t lose a beat in the QB running game. Blaine looks to me like he’s scared out there. Never been a fan.

      • getterdone says:

Good point….hope Tanny never gets hurt…he sooo deserves a stout OL for once in his career….lol

  76. professor lou says:

    Piggy,
    I got one more. Sleeper
At LB; for Herd, Jermaine Holmes, LB, Marshall

  77. Mike E. says:

Your score is: 4728 (GRADE: B+)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 14: Danny Shelton, DT, Washington (A)
Round 2 Pick 15: Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (Fla.) (B)
    Round 3 Pick 14: T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama (A)
Round 4 Pick 15: Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF (A)
Round 5 Pick 14: Charles Gaines, CB, Louisville (A)
Round 6 Pick 15: Ali Marpet, OG, Hobart & William Smith (B)
Round 7 Pick 15: Derrick Malone Jr., OLB, Oregon (B+)

  78. getterdone says:

Lou, I think S Durrell Eskridge could be a sleeper for us…I like his length, his speed, and he can tackle pretty well. Coyle should coach him up good…he’d be an upgrade I think over the short poor tackling Jimmy Wilson and might still be on the board by the 5th rd.

  79. professor lou says:

What I like about Shepherd and Amos is they both have good play recognition skills which makes their reaction time to the play fast and it gets them to the ball faster than other guys who take longer. Shepherd is also very good at deep coverage and plays the deep ball very well, staying with the receiver and turning when the ball gets there to make the play.
On quick screens he’s fast to react to the line and make a quick tackle.
Amos is a hammer. I love the way the guy hits and he tackles with his arms so a player can’t get away.

  80. professor lou says:

Jacob Hagen, S, Liberty. If they were scouting Aikens there they will probably have the inside info on this kid. Ball Hawk. Only thing is his speed. Hits like a hammer but he’s another one of those guys with football recognition skills that gets him to the play faster. So, he plays faster than his speed suggests. Priority UDFA..

  81. professor lou says:

    Terrell Pinson, S, LA Tech

What do you guys think of Gerod Holliman for us?
    😉
His report card says great ball skills not very interested in tackling anyone?

I watched his bowl game again the other night and he hurt himself stuffing the runner at the line!

    Overall I like him

    • dbolt48 says:

Saw tackle someone in his bowl game and had to go to the sideline because he hurt himself. Ballhawk w/ zero tackle prowess.

  83. wyoming85 says:

    Lou
I think it was Brian and I talking about Amos
Love his skills but picks up WAY to many stupid fouls!

  84. wyoming85 says:

Eskridge didn’t look very good in the 2 games I watched of his!
Maybe it was just his off days?

  85. ditmcodave says:

Hey guys, sad to see what happened on the other blog. This site looks really nice so far. Thanks for the invite or keeping it public or however that shit works.

F the cheating patriots. Only ones defending them now are their fans. Kind of funny.

  86. Ken says:

    New post up

  87. getterdone says:

Most of these guys coming out early are definitely gonna be raw.
