In my galaxy they have a saying, “Ifo Elpre-Olomu” which means You are covered in a blanket. Wow this cornerback can play! The Ducks are not known for there defense but they have some very solid defensive prospects in this draft starting with Ifo.
The first time I saw Ifo play was in 2013 against Brandin Cooks, a WR who would be drafted by the Saints. Cooks ate the opposition alive for most of 2013…until Ifo happened. When Ifo happens, Ifo hurts. Like Cooks, Ifo is a little guy standing 5’9 and weighing 195 lbs. Don’t let that fool you, he will come up and make the big hit on the ball carrier.
Do the Dolphins need a CB? Is he a good fit? Well who knows what happens on the other side of Grimes in 2015. Oregon plays a lot of off zone coverage, so on its face, it seems like Ifo might be a good fit.
Ifo is quite the ball hawk/duck. He had 9 career interceptions at Oregon. Although undersized he has shown the ability to win the ball at the point of attack. His speed and his instincts are probably his strength. He can be an elite CB in the NFL, although some experts think he is best suited to play nickel – but I will submit to you that they always say that about little guys, so take it with a grain of Venus Worm Powder.
One negative thing to be aware of is that Ifo tore his ACL in 2014 which caused him to miss the end of the season and the post season. Then again Brent Grimes tore his Achilles Tendon in 2012 and managed to play at a pro bowl level for the Dolphins. The injury might cause Ifo to fall to the 2nd round, maybe even later – he might end up being a steal to somebody.
If I was going to compare Ifo to an Alien Weapon of Destruction I would compare him to the Sticky Slime of the Zuryian Moon. You can try to get it off you – but Ifo is stuck on you.
Watch this video if Ifo!

Too small. I like Grimes, but I am tired of midgets in our secondary.
So I see that we have Houston our schedule again this year. Should we write it down as a loss or do we beat them finally for the first time in franchise history?
Oregon defenders have recently been cursed after arriving in Miami. Nice article though👍

Mike,
Your last pick Zenner is def a possibility late in the draft. Supposedly met with our staff already & appears they are high on him. Early in the process though.
Interesting. I didn’t know that.
Good morning, bunch a liberals

UCFer right there. He’s young and raw for the NFL but with patience he’s going to be a good one.
Yep, also think Gunter can flip between CB or Safety.
Dbolt I see people are finally noticing Breshad Perriman, I don’t know if he’ll shoot up the pro boards as quickly as he is on the mocks. He hesitated entering the draft because the NFL grading he applied for initially wasn’t as favorable as he would have liked/expected but he went forward anyway. What I’m saying is he may shoot to round one or high 2 on mocks but we still may be able to actually draft him in the third.
Yeah. My dreams of landing him in the 3rd are gone. Like I’ve been saying though, just might be the best in the class when all is said and done.
Thanks for the article today, Pigster! It’s got a lot of detail. And though I’m no draft maven, I’m sure it’ll keep the natives happy.
What Draftsite has for us right now, I could Dig(g) this:
1 14 Shaq Thompson* OLB Washington 6′ 2″ 230
2 47 Sammie Coates* WR Auburn 6′ 2″ 200
3 78 T.J. Yeldon* RB Alabama 6′ 1″ 220
4 111 Tyler Lockett WR Kansas State 5′ 10″ 180
5 142 Joey Mbu DT Houston 6′ 3″ 315
6 175 Stefon Diggs* WR Maryland 6′ 1″ 185
7 207 Mark Glowinski OG West Virginia 6′ 5″ 310
No way we take 3 WR though
I wouldn’t put it past the team to take 3
In regards to that draft, I just don’t see the team taking Shaq. He’d be a WLB and Jenkins has that tied down.
I like Shaq for his talent and love for the game. He says he could play strong side but teams may just run at him. He’d be a good cover on TE and he may even round into a good Safety in the NFL. It wouldn’t bother me if we were to take him.
Love the player, just not the fit unless he can man the FS spot. Who knows maybe he can turn into the next Urlacher. I don’t feel it right now, but no one knows until they hit the actual NFL field
Rockphin,
I hope you are doing better bud. Your new avi sucks.
Brian tells his wife he’s hidin away for some alone time & pulls up Rock’s Avi…..just to find Jarvis Landry….LOL
LOL
Great job today
PiggyWedge!I don’t think I’d hesitate too long on snagging Philip Dorsett, he loves Miami, he’s a great kid, he’s as fast as anyone in the league (or will be) and we need a young burner to develop.
Runs great routes also & has a high IQ. Also what makes him different than what Wallace brings to the table is his ability after the catch. Wallace is a very stiff WR with limited flexibility, just the nature of his body. Dorsett has the shiftiness and flexibility of a topevel scat back which makes him deadly even in traffic.
Stop dogging Wallace dammit! He’s not stiff! You just have a stiffy to get rid of the guy! 🙂
Hey my first draft of the day had the team keeping him😕. Like I said though, very limited in flexibility. As I stated its just his body type.
The Scout’s Report
— This is a draft article, but first a very credible rumor that will affect the draft: I’m told the New York Jets plan to roll out the red carpet for Demaryius Thomas if he doesn’t receive the franchise tag from the Denver Broncos.
lol the stej thinks its the receivers in Denver. Just get all of their receivers and Gino will look like Peyton.
The way Decker ripped up the secondary including Grimes in the finale, I can see why they’d get that impression😂
Doh, I forgot about that
I think the Jets are going to have to draft a QB. If they don’t get Mariota or Winston, they will probably look at Hundley
The Jets ran all over us the first game, and then passed all over us the 2nd.

The worst part was the fact Decker was open for those punt-passes Geno delivered😩
Maybe we should have had Landry covering him.
Might of been better….maybe Tannehill also, at least he would’ve made a tackle.
Decker had 10rec for 221yds & 1TD
I mean WIDE OPEN.
Yeah it was bad.
What the fuck is our problem to keep letting this crap happen. Come on Hickey hit it again man right this clusterfucked ship.
Have to be honest, Geno threw the ball very well that game. I know D-Bolt doesn’t want to hear this, but the whole team quit that game. Wallace was the only one who actually sat down.
Defense sucked that day, but I will never excuse Wallaces actions. I disagree about how good Geno threw the ball……there was absolutely no coverage…but what are you going to do a 158.3 is a 158.3
Our secondary was really good when healthy, but went downhill quick with injuries.
The entire defense was good before the injuries hit. Some more depth and some better luck and we should be alright.
Yep! We signed 3 corners off the street during that time.
Taylor was just beginning to round into shape when he hurt his shoulder that sucked.
Peyton is around 2200 yards from breaking Favre’s all-time yardage mark so if he doesn’t retire but does part ways with the Broncos where does he end up?
Stej with his receivers?
Buffalo with Rex?
Cards?
No way in hell he goes to Cleveland
Saint Louis
Gotta go where it’s warm- Tampa bay so Winston gets a year behind him.
It would have to be a contender
Good point. How about Houston?
D-Bolt
For some reason, Geno is very comfortable playing us in our house. He’s a different player. He played better than usual against us 2 years in MIA too.
Some of it has to do with the D the last 2yrs playing soft. This year the D seemed to just quit once Cam was flagged for the PF penalty for a legal hit on Smith. Seemed after that the emotion was gone.
According to Mando:
“### Among the options the Dolphins have been considering with Mike Wallace is raising the idea of a contract restructuring. It’s highly questionable whether Wallace would accept one. He’s due to make $9.9 million for the 2015 season, of which $3 million is guaranteed if he’s on the team at the start of the league year (March 10).”
Why the frick would Wallace agree to that? They cut him and he pockets some money and makes up at least the difference with the other team…….plus he knows we eat it versus the cap. Not like the “take one for the team” card is in play here.
The key part to what you said above is “According to Mando” I wouldn’t have expected the rest to be well thought out, lol
Because if Wallace is cut he loses a nice chunk of change in a flooded WR market. His best chance at collecting money is a restructure w/ Miami. If he wants out though, he can just tell the team he’s not playing in negotiations or on the field.
D-Bolt
Wallace is going to get a nice contract from someone else if he’s cut. You’re too biased on him, and unrealistic. He’d be the best FA available.
He’ll never get what what he’s being paid here and he knows it. That’s why he had a sit down with Hickey.
There’s going to be other WRs on the market that will limit what he makes. He will not get the kind of money he’d keep in Miami. There’s no Bias in that:
Demaryius Thomas
Brandon Marshall
Vincent Jackson
Are a few names that will hit the FA wire and outside of Thomas none are going to get dollars currently on Wallaces contract. Wallace won’t get that type of money as a FA neither.
Maybe we can sign Brandon Marshall instead.
Jeremy Maclin and Dez Bryant are FAs also
F that guy also
There’s plenty of talent on the market.
What’s up FUers? I have a few moments in the office today. A rare occassion but it’s good to get here and say hi
Hi!
Piggy:
Nice job once again. As I said you and Mike E are becoming Kiper and McShay. Mike E has to be Kiper because he has more hair. LOL.
That means Piggy is Little Head McPig. lol
LOL
For Mike Wallace, he would earn more as a free agent than he would restructuring with Miami.
He’s already earned his guaranteed portion with Miami and at his age and production history would get a new guaranteed $ contract elsewhere.
Miami restructuring his contract would just be to keep him around another year and to smooth out the salary cap hit YR/YR (lower this year’s number and increase next year’s number).
Thank you! Someone with a realistic, unbiased POV.
I have been told I am a biased POS.
Oh, yes I was being so biased
Maclin would be a nice fit for our offense. Probably a better fit than Wallace. Maclin can stretch the field but he is also very good with underneath stuff as well. He also comes from Chip Kelly’s system so he is comfortable and familiar with Lazor I suspect.
Al, isn’t Wallace’s guaranteed money worked out over the length of the contract?
That’s what I thought
No.
You have total contract and guaranteed portion of that total contract.
the guaranteed part is in the 1st two years (base part of the salary in the guaranteed $ amount) and then the signing bonus is paid out immediately but for salary cap purposes is allocated over the life of the signed contract (to help reduced the impact on the cap YR/YR). Once you cut a guy, you have to take any allocation left in the future years and accelerate it to the current cap year to expense it off.
In other words, he signed a $60 million dollar deal but with only $27 mill in guaranteed money (unique to NFL because they can avoid paying part of a contract unlike MLB/NBA where the entire contract is guaranteed). He earned $16 mill in base salary the last two seasons with Miami and his signing bonus was $11 mill (paid out immediately).
Thanks for the clarification.
Tim
Maybe Wallace met with Hickey because Hickey told him he wanted to see him in his office . . .
Maybe, but I’m thinking he decided he wants to keep his current contract because he won’t ever get an offer like that again.
I am not sure how flooded the WR market will be. I bet Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas and BMarsh are unlikely to actually hit FA and will be locked by their respective teams. Maclin too.
Ken,
I agree with Thomas & Bryant staying put, but the talk is the Bears are going to wash their hands of BM
That’s possible. But I am banking on his on again off again relationship with Cutler to keep him in Chicago. He may be let go and if he is it does not really impact Wallace’s market.
Thomas & Bryant have youth on their side.
Marshall & Jackson do not.
Age matters to guys dishing out new deals as future production is what people are being paid for.
That’s correct.
I think VJax hits the market and somebody will sign him but I don’t think he will be the hot commodity for that very reason. He is older and on the downside of his career. He can still play but I would be surprised if he is able to land a huge deal.
He’d still impact the market though & that’s what I’m saying. When Wallace hit FA he was regarded as the best on the market like VJ the prior year and he got the big contract. Neither will get the money they recently received.
Al, gotcha on the contract. I saw what you’re saying on Spotrac.
It’s almost a big joke when you see a team announce a high number on a new deal.
You can invent whatever you want with the years that are not guaranteed (like Peyton’s last deal at Indy). These GM’s know it’s just symbolic and what is realistic vs unrealistic.
be back later.
I see a rodent running around and I don’t need anything near my arsehole while I’m typing, lol.
D-Bolt
C’mon man, you undervalue Wallace because you don’t like him. That’s fine. I admit I’m biased against Philbin, you’re biased against Wallace. I think he would be snatched up very quickly by a team if we cut him, and he will get paid very well, by us, and by his new team.
He won’t get paid by us and a new team. His guaranteed money has already been paid out. If we cut him we’ll have a cap savings and a cap hit, but he doesn’t get that money.
Mike,
I don’t hide my disdain for him, but like I said the market won’t be what it was in 2012.
Agreed. Our contract is the biggest he’ll ever see.
If Wallace hits the market there would be teams very eager to sign him. I can see the Colts add another long ball threat to go with Hilton and Luck already being the best deep ball thrower in the game would make for a scary offense. I also suspect the Raiders would love to add a deep threat to team up with a strong armed young QB, ditto the Vikings. Cleveland will be in the market for a WR now that Josh Gordon is likely done. 49ers could use a WR with speed. There will be significant interest if Wallace hits the market. Wallace may be a shit head but since when has that stopped some team from signing a talent it perceives it needs.
Who said he wouldn’t be signed???
There’s a HUGE difference of what I’m saying vs what you and Mike are trying to infer from me. He’s not going to have a 2012 market paying out for him. He’ll still have suitors no doubt but it will be at a reduced market rate.
Hell I can see the Jets signing Wallace.
If it wasn’t inter-division, and generally those trades don’t happen, id agree with ya. After pondering the idea of a trade witht he Colts they are moving up in my mind as one of the top places where we could get value from and they would really want him.
I was just saying if Wallace was let go. He can sign anywhere.
Mike E. says:

I think the Jets are going to have to draft a QB. If they don’t get Mariota or Winston, they will probably look at Hundley
————————————–
Because its them, you may be right, but i think they roll with Geno one more year, maybe take a guy late this year, but for sure next year after Geno looks like shit again, will be aiming for a guy like Conner Cook maybe, or Cardale Jones.
What pick do the Jets have this year?
6
Ok, so he won’t get the contract that we gave him, but he’s going to paid well.
I’m saying it will be at a reduced rate vs that. Maclin will get a much better contract than Wallace. As I said to Ken, he’ll have suitors, but just like a new car when you drive it off the lot, depreciation sets in.
Just for the record.
Wallace has $3 mil in guaranteed money left.
He has $6.6 mil in pro-rated bonus left “on account.”
He gets cut and he pockets the first in actual cash.
And we take on the combined amount as a cap hit for the move.
We trade him and we will get credit for the $3 mil.
Right making it a 5.5mil savings vs 2.5mil.
DBolt:
Wallace won’t get the same contract but he won’t be poor. He will have a strong market and he will command a significant contract even though he is a shit head.
Ok, once again I never said he wouldn’t have suitors or interest.
But you are making it sound like he will get pennies on the dollar and I don’t think that will be the case.
What do you consider pennies on the Dollar? I’m thinking he might get a 3yr contract that averages between 6-7 per.
Also I do not see a significant contract a good fair contract, but nothing earth shattering.
That is what we disagree about. It won’t be earth shattering but it will be significant.
Thank you D. With the 6th pick there is no way Jets land either Winston or Mariotta. They reide with Geno one more year and probably take somebody like Hundley but that won’t stop them from drafting somebody again next year.
Hundley for some reason is really popular, even though i think he is a risky guy as an early pick. He has all the athletic ability you want but isnt right between the ears. Perfect for them lol, but i was thinking someone like Conner Halliday or Sean Mannion
I think the Jets will target a vet QB and have him compete with Geno and possibly draft one as well.
Tim
He’s only been paid $4.4M of his signing bonus, so don’t we have to be the remaining $6.6M of his signing bonus?
His guaranteed money was paid out his first two seasons. That’s what I was discussing with Al.
Oh, so it’s just spread out cap wise, is that what it is?
No it wasn’t Tim. He still has $3 mil in guaranteed money left.
Has Devin Gardner declared a different position yet. I could see him making the switch to a WR/TE prospect and being decent at it. He player WR for a little bit at Michigan didnt he?
He is someone i have my eyes set on as an UDFA.
Didn’t he play WR at the Shrine game?
WR at the senior bowl. Heard he made nice strides through the week. My concern with him would be didn’t he have a few concussions at Michigan? Makes me nervous after how Swopes career ended.
Yeah im not a big, Big 10 guy, so id have to bow to one of those fans to answer that. I just know he always to me should have stayed at WR where he didnt look too terrible in games i saw him in.
Also, in the theme of college QB’s playing different positions and might go undrafted, Nick Marshall id look at as a SS prospect if he happens to go UDFA as well. 6’1 220, and watchign him at senior bowl he tackles and hits hard, with decent coverage skills. Might not be a bad to kick those tires.
I wouldn’t mind FS development neither. He showed he could run downfield with elite speed at the SR. Bowl. His problems were double and triple move players like when he practiced against Lockett…..which you’d expect just making that transition
D:
I see Hundley as a round 2 or maybe even 3 pick. No way is he picked at 6 and if he is so much the better imo.
No we agree there, i was saying Jets wont take a guy in rounds 2-3 imo, because i think they have a mind to ride with Geno and get a guy next year. They might would take a guy in later rounds though i think, kinda shot in the dark candidate and if they hit fine, if not then next year it is.
With a new coach, with little as far as blowing the doors off it expectations wise, unless he is just against having a QB that wasnt his pick, i think the is no pressure to draft a QB early.
I think if the Jets were in the top 3 picks you would likely see them draft Mariotta or Winston. They are not there and there is no one else that really commands that kind of daft pick imo so I think by default they ride with Geno.

—————————————–
You are probably right, and in our system there really is no true FS/SS designation, they are supposed to both be kinda hybrids. I think he could develop that way just fine and playing safety he doesnt have to worry about the double moves, for the most part. He would be playing zone most the time.
Mike E, this is from Spotrac.
Contract Notes:
$27 million guaranteed (signing bonus + 2013-14 base)
Additional $3M guaranteed for injury only
$3M of 2015 Base guarantees on 3/14/15
I’m not totally sure how it works and I don’t really care all that much. LOL
We can just say he’s made a lot of cash😄
Dbolt:
I think Wallace would warrant 3 years between 8-10 million a year. Somebody out there will give him that.
Maybe the Raiders….I just don’t see anywhere near your $10 mark, but there could be validity to 8.
All he needs is 2 teams to express interest and then he has a bidding way and I think there are at least 2 teams that will want his services and it will drive the price up.
But that’s where the other WRs on the market will help dictate what he makes. I don’t see anyone going near 10 for him, IMO.
General comment — guaranteed money and pro-rated signing bonus are two completely things under the cap. Maybe Jahn and I should have a webinar or something. 🙂
And I am going to put this out again.
He has nothing left.
Mike Wallace got paid his entire signing bonus the day he signed his contract (as all athletes in the NFL get paid their full bonus from day 1).
The allocation of that money over the life of the contract is a non-cash transaction for accounting purposes only.
I politely disagree Al. He has $3 mill in guarantee left. Subtract what he has been paid in signing bonus plus salary over the first two years of his contract and you are left with $3 mil. Pro-rated signing bonus is a different subject……but that comes to $6.6 mil as of now. I’m good at math dude.
When Stanger says he politely disagrees he really means…..
LOL Ken — have always given fair warning. 🙂
Some cuts have already started, but we still got a long way before things really get rolling. Id pay close attention to 9’ers, Cards, and Pats. With some of their guys. Saints are in a bad spot too, but really only Lofton, or Jahri Evans would be guys they could save a lot on that would be interesting to us. Speaking of Pats, if they cut Wilfork, would you bring him home to Miami to be our run stuffer? I personally think he has seen better days, but on a 1-2year as 2 down stop gap until we got a younger guy trained up, might not be an awful thing.
Wilfork has said he hates the Dolphins and always has. He grew up a Bills fan.
He was raped by Dolphins as a child as well
He said he liked that though
He just wished they bought him dinner first
I hate the Bills probably worse than any team in the AFC East.
Vaccaro went into the doghouse last year and even though I doubt they drop him he’d be a player I go after if they did.

____________________________________________
I don’t think Bryant, Thomas or Maclin hit FA. I don’t think VJax or BMarsh impact Wallace’s market. Anyone who wants to sign Wallace is unlikely to be bidding on either of those guys.
They affect his market no matter what. Both are still better all around WRs, although Marshall is a bigger headcase. Denarius Moore of the Raiders being available also impacts Wallaces market. Wallace also impacts the other players market as well.
Maybe I am confused
It wasn’t Wilfork that was raped by Dolphins
It was his fat ugly whore wife
I thought she raped him.
Then ate them
Dolphins originally swam over that way thinking someone was tossing Tuna overboard, but then they figured out where it was coming from, and the swirling vortext as her cavernous vagina was swallowing the ocean made them stay away from her, but they were so frustrated by being duped, they took it our on Wilfork. Raping a Patriot was only only real thing that would quench that frustration.

Form Michael Fabiano’s (NfL.com’s top FF guy), 2015 “ManCrush List” (yeah he actually called it that).
Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami Dolphins: Did you know that Landry scored more fantasy points than Calvin Johnson, Kelvin Benjamin and DeSean Jackson in PPR leagues last season? And with the status of Mike Wallace in question down in South Beach, Landry could see an increase in targets and fantasy value sooner than later. A player with immense upside in an offense that now features a 4,000-yard quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, Landry could turn out to be more than just a PPR asset. Also keep in mind that more wide receivers are having breakouts in their second NFL seasons, so Landry could add to that trend.
Damn/it… Hopefully he doesn’t curse Landry like he did Miller.
I have Landry in my keeper league, and he will be kept.
He could become a 100 catch guy every year. I’d like to see some more explosive plays from him and get his YPCA up a bit from 9.0 even though I understand why it’s low due to the offense and his role in it.
I think once we shore up the OL he will get downfield more.

What do you guys think of Northern Iowa RB David Johnson?
Honestly….from what I’ve seen he has nice agility, speed, acceleration, and GREAT hands. I literally think he should be a WR instead of a running back as a pro. Kind of how I think TY Montgomery might be better off as a running back instead of a WR.
What’s up FU?
Hey Herd!
Dbolt, Landry did have 6 receps over 20+ yards and he’s an instinctive runner so I agree he’ll make more big plays as he develops his game more and the offense improves overall.
Yep. He’s our toughest WE & that’s the reason he was our over the middle guy. He showed he can attack multiple depths perfectly fine though this season.
<<<<< is the MAN!
And Mike E is>>>>>>>>a 👍👼
Deja vu?
Oregon junior DL Arik Armstead “will test off the charts for an athlete his size,” wrote CBS Sports’ Dane Brugler.
The 6-foot-8, 290-pound defensive end has amazing athleticism for such a huge human being. He posted 46 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks this past season. Armstead grades out as NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah’s No. 13 prospect. ESPN’s Mel Kiper compares him to Ziggy Ansah.
Love Ziggy……but with all that going for him why just 2.5 sacks?
Ansah was a Senior Bowl favorite for me, i has us taking him that year up into closer to the draft when i knew 1) we would get no shot at him and 2) our needs at other positions made it an impracticality.
Hey — I was in one of the front seats of the Ziggy bus. Knew he would have to fall. How high he did go showed their were other busses of other teams with more horsepower involved. 🙂
I bet Herd likes my current Avi more than my last one……
A Landry jersey is a good investment. He’s likely to be here a long time.
For sure. He’s good in so many ways. Even after his rook contract is done, he’s one of those you go out of your way with to keep.
Got my guy a signed Landry jersey for Christmas he was our MVP … IMO.
Hey Herd….FU is better then FME ijs….TGIF!!!
Depends on who your talking too!

———————————————
I watched enough of his film and got enough feedback on him from Senior Bowl to be comfortable with us taking him in 4thish round. He runs well, maybe a little too upright but that’s not end of the world. He reminds me a lot of Gillislee actually, even though i know a lot of you are sour on him because coaches haven’t used him, but Johnson is almost identical runner and has same balanced skillset Gillislee has.
Dbolt, i cant see Ty Montgomery as a RB but i could see using him in a non-traditional WR role, akin to Patterson or the way Julio Jones was used in college. Lots of end around packages, motion handoffs, or reverses.
LOL i just looked at NFL.com to see what they put down as his strengths and weaknesses, and i saw this:
NFL COMPARISON Cordarrelle Patterson
im on Fiyah!
Yes Rockphin, I do like this avi better. lol
Hey California girl….I agree about Landry. He is awesome. My favorite player last year!!!

That’s part of a formal statement by Ray Rice addressed to Ravens fans. No he didn’t write it, but at least he didn’t veto what the right message should be……..even if it is a good number of months late.
Gigi, that was a cool gift to give. So you and your guy are both Dolphins fans, cool!
Marshawn Lynch is considering retiring.
Or maybe he just wants more money.
Say’s who? He doesn’t answer questions…LMAO

Well, there goes him being drafted or even signed as a UDFA, unless he beats the charges.
The NFL has withdrawn the combine invitation for former Tennessee LB A.J. Johnson, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean.
The former Volunteers LB was indicted on aggravated rape charges yesterday, and his attorney said that he was making plans to surrender to authorities. Heading into the season, the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Johnson was a potential Day-three prospect.

how do you know he didnt write it? i heard the statement but didnt hear he didnt write it. just to be fair, we do condemn him and the kind of person he is without knowing him, then when a pretty straight forward statement with a good point is said we are quick to dismiss as he didnt write it.
i think he is a bully and disgusting for the act he committed, but i will give him the benefit of the doubt that those are his words.
Nothing on Ray Rice on that one, but assume that most pre-preprared statements are done by the agents, or at least done with their input. Even if he did……it’s a day late and a dollar short. Assume he had input on the timing.
