NDominant Suh

By son of a son of a shula

Ndamakong Suh is a Miami Dolphin. Has that sunk in yet? I honestly still can’t believe that it’s true, that one of the premiere marquee players in the league and a Son favorite is actually on our team. Well here’s how his first season in Miami played out in this Sonny Fantasy.

It’s late January in 2016 and the Dolphins are in contention to go to the Super Bowl all they need is one more win. Leading the way is a stellar Dolphin Defensive line led by none other than Ndamakong Suh. Suh has wreaked havoc across the NFL in the 2015 season; he’s been by and large unblockable and considered by most a shoe in for Defensive Player of the Year. The first in Miami since Jason Taylor earned the honor following the 2006 season.

NDominant Suh as he began to be called was the main thrust for a Miami team that had trouble passing the 8-8 mark the last couple of years. With 75 tackles, 9 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 2 which he recovered and his pick 6 TD were amazing and he allowed the rest of the defense to make plays while garnering so much attention. Suh consistently fought off double and triple teams to make big plays. It was his presence that allowed a middle of the road defense to soar to dominance.

Suh came to Miami as a free agent with the intention of putting together a Championship laden career and to cement a place for himself in Canton as one of the games greats. Without wasting any time Suh went out and established himself and the Dolphins defense as one of the best in the league. Bringing back memories for Dolphin fans of the famous “No Name” defense opponents found it almost impossible to establish a running game with Suh clogging the interior of the line. Passing wasn’t much easier as teams found themselves engulfed in a relentless pass rush which featured Cameron Wake having his best season as a pro earning 16 ½ sacks and a third consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.

It was the Dolphin Defense that led the way but a much improved Offense under second year Coordinator Bill Lazor showed that Miami was on the way to being a powerhouse. Rookie running back Todd Gurley who led all rookies in rushing and is in the running for Rookie of the Year was the missing piece for the Dolphins who became a team capable of running the clock as they dominated opponents in time of possession. Another key for the Dolphins was the health and well being of the offensive line which for the first time in several seasons wasn’t besieged by injuries. Ryan Tannehill built on his previous three seasons by turning in his best season as a pro and leading the Fins offense to the playoffs for the first time since the 2008 season.

In his latest interview Coach Joe Philbin had this to say about Suh, “In all of my years of coaching and being around football I have never seen a more dominant season by an interior lineman.” Philbin likely had his job saved by Suh as he entered the season where many considered it a make or break year for him. With the signing of Suh, Philbin took advantage and put together a playoff squad poised to battle for the chance to play for a Lombardi trophy.

All is well in Miami.

I have a couple of FU’s to give out:

The guy at the store: I’m putting my card into my wallet, you can see that, so you don’t have to shove the receipt under my nose and say “here’s your receipt. FU, I know.

To Apple and this facacta safari browser: Why don’t you have an end button or why don’t you go back to where I was after I refresh. I hate scrolling ALL the way down every time, it’s not even scrolling it’s like finger banging your phone – FU.

And FU to the Patriots, simply on general principal

    ————
NOW as for this dream/forecast you have. It has two fatal flaws: #1) Steve Ross, the least successful owner in Dolphins history and the ONLY owner who has NEVER won a playoff game.–#2) Joe Philbin, a head coach who SHOULD have been fired TWO YEARS AGO!! –i’M A “show me” kind of guy. –The ONLY thing Ross has shown me is an inability to pick.retain top quality successful people to run his franchise. Hopefully, do-Hickey will be an exception and will prove to be a solid GM. –But, like Miss Gigi and others, I hold out little hope for Philbin. His teams always seem to run out of gas in December because, IMHO, his TEAM is NOT in primo condition AND because his back-up players, who are forced into action in December, AREN’T GOOD ENOUGH!
UNTIL Philbin SHOWS ME he can handle the chores of December, I’m gonna expect his team to fold down the stretch to teams like the Ravens, Colts and Patriots.

Herd’s guy can be had that cheap? Wow, he had 9 sacks & 4 forced fumbles in 2014.
    Eagles are trading everybody….lol

Philly Voice’s Jimmy Kempski believes Eagles DE Vinny Curry could be had via trade.
Curry, the 59th pick in the 2012 draft, is an imperfect fit in the Eagles’ 3-4 scheme after being drafted as a pure 4-3 end by the Andy Reid regime. He played 397 snaps last season in sub-packages, receiving positive marks for his pass-rush push. Curry managed 34 combined pressures. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Curry could probably be had for a mid-to-late-rounder.

His cap hit is $2.5 million this year

      • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Yep, all these receivers are pretty versatile all over the field…maybe Landry is the least, more suited to stay in the slot, but I bet he can throw off a defense lining up or going outside.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

That’s the thing, interchangeable which is what I think Philbin has wanted here all along.

I also don’t want to leave out Matthews because he has shown he can play. But I’d still have to say he’s 4th at the moment.

  22. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

GD, Landry lined up outside last year and made plays.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

He’s a slot receiver dammit! Stop making him something he’s not. He’s a 90% slot receiver. OL catch TD passes, but that doesn’t make them WR’s! Now please stop it! lol

  23. D's avatar D says:

Jennings was almost as productive as wallace with exception of TD totals where Wallace had 4 more. Wallace also threw shit fits when he didnt get the TD throws so kinda force our hands somewhat to try to feed him the ball there. Both years Jennings numbers in Minny were equatable to Wallace’s with us, but he also had a lot lest stability at QB to deal with, and never had a guy with accuracy that Tanny has throwing to him there. I think had we made the right decision when shoosing between those two before, Jennings would have had a lot bigger numbers and we would have been a lot better off. Either way, wrong is righted, we are where we should be this year.

I read an article the other day that pretty much slammed Landry as a receiver, said he was not really very good, is limited to being a slot guy, is slow and only reason he had great reception numbers was because the system was designed to get it to him and Tanny was able to deliver it accurately to him on those routes. I literally almost wrote a nasty gram to that dude just to set him straight. Landry busted his ass last year and him being open had a lot to do with him. Disgusting how the media only praises a guy when he has the fucking 40 time to drool over. We really have to stop discounting players because of that one fucking stat. Hardy is another guy who this year will make some team VERY happy, and he doesnt jump off the page for you because of that stat.

    Good morning.
Where are the Warriors fans at? Was out last night and the bar was like OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
As Curry poured the hot sauce all over the big easy LMFAO.
My buddy with 4 minutes to go was like, “hey, I wouldn’t count the Warriors out”. We always discuss how they can go on a 20-2 run in a heartbeat I just didn’t expect it in a game where they seemed to just be content to wait till the next game lol.

    • That game was siiiiicccckkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!! Steph Curry is MVP – IMO not even close.

    • D's avatar D says:

Fucking Pelicans imploded. I dont think it was as much about Curry (though he did get it done) as it was poor game management from the Pelicans coach. They could have won that game in so many ways, hack Curry on one of his 3’s, fucking rebound the ball, stop trying to answer 3 for 3 and just get points…i mean last night was fucking stupid bad coaching. Same with the game previous to that one. First game they looked out clased and fought back to keep it from being a complete embarrassment but last two were fucking let down games where they had leads and just imploded in the 4th.

  25. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    D,
“Jennings numbers in Minny were equatable to Wallace’s with us, but he also had a lot lest stability at QB to deal with, and never had a guy with accuracy that Tanny has throwing to him there. ”
Well, he had a rookie QB but not an inaccurate one.
Teddy Bridgewater is probably more accurate than Tannehill so let’s not go tthere lol.

  26. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Al, the stats don’t back up that claim. Also Tanny was 9th or 10th in comp pct. on passes of 20 yards or more. Luck wasn’t even in the top 10 but he likely completed the most passes of 20 yards or more.

  27. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Bridgewater rookie year completion % was in line with Tannehill’s career best.
Teddy started 12 games (Games 4; 6 – 17). Only threw less than 60% in 3 of those games and his worst out of those 3 was 57%. He threw 70%+ in 4 of the last 5 games he started (a rookie record). All in all, it was the 3rd best rookie completion % in NFL history.

    • Don’t bring in facts like that man—lol. Seriously, Teddy is a very good young qb, he’s from MIAMI and will always root for him. This is a make it or not year for Tannehill who has all new receivers – one wonders if he is so good why did those guys split? We know Wallace was traded ijs….very rare to have an allegedly up and coming good qb and he loses Wallace, Hartline, Gibson and Clay?

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I think Bridgewater looked pretty good last year, but those numbers don’t tell the whole story – rookie passing records will fall pretty regularly with rookie QBs starting right away and throwing high percentage passes.

He was also a more experienced QB coming out of college than Tanny was.

  28. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Bridgewater throws a pretty deep ball
And really – he always has

But I don’t think he is anywhere near Tanny in terms of accuracy

  29. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    D,
TD-INT are not function of accuracy.

    • D's avatar D says:

Sure it is, if your trowing as many INTs as TD it shows your accuracy on your trows arent there because your providing the DB’s more opportunity to score than your WR’s 🙂

  30. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Wallace vs Jennings in terms of $ per production? Easily Jennings. I prefer Jennings at this stage of his career because of his consistency even if his top end ability is not on par with Wallace.

    • D's avatar D says:

Top end ability isnt much if you get in the way of reaching it. We do agree though completely on value being better with Jennings. Now we have him and for a LOT less than Wallace lol.

  31. It’s 8:20 am here and I am ready for a drink or 3 — let’s go!

  32. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    D,
Opportunity for DB doesn’t change with TDs scored. INT are INT on their own. In any case, decision making and accuracy are independent things.

  33. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    Tim,
Excuses are like assholes, everyone’s got one :P. Experience is overrated. You either got the goods or you don’t. You got guys who are 4 year collegiate starters like Geno who stink at the next level, you have guys with only 2 years under their belt who start to shine, etc.

  34. Honestly, why did Tannehill’s starting WRs & TE all bail? If he is as good as some of you say he is that would not happen would it? Or are we gonna make 1,000 excuses for him?

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Ohh brother…you must be on your 4th drink by now…lol 😉

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

They were all released and traded. Clay was offered 10 more million from the Bills. You’re way off on this one.

What excuses are we making for him? He had a very good year last year.

  35. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

I like both players but things are what they are. Alot of people don’t like Eli Manning’s game because he’s not very accurate but he’s got timely accuracy that has gotten him out of some games LOL.

“These will be make or break years for Tannehill!”

    😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

    • What year is he in now – 4? People wanted to executed Chad Henne after 2 1/2 years — same results w/Tanny but it’s okay? SMH

2017 “This will be a make or break year for Tannehill!”

      • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Same record? That’s not how you judge an individual player.

How do you build a team if you can’t break down individual play? Do you fire every single player every year you don’t make the playoffs? So Landry and Miller should be gone too?

Come on. That’s outlandish Gigi. You don’t have to swing from his jock strap or anything, but there is no realm of reason where those two guys are comparable.

    • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

As I’ve said, finding a capable QB is very hard in this league. Most QB have some quirks in their game so trying to spin your wheels trying to land a Tom Brady, Drew Brees, or Aaron Rodgers is a silly exercise. I think RT has the goods; can improve just like most QB out there and has improved YR/YR.
I’ve told Jahn this, he’s going to break the bank for sure this year but the question is “Flacco money or Dalton money” lol. It’s a good problem for most people

I have no idea how that game happened. down 17 with under 6 to play. my brain is scrambled. oh, and Anthony Davis is a freak.

Trailing by 20 in the 4th I turned it off. Told myself we’d get em next time and was glad we had home court advantage. Towards the end of regulation I decide to check the score on my phone and see how bad the final damage was. We were down by 3!!!!! Turned it on, watched the best pure shooter on the planet drain the game tying 3 and all of the OT.

Amazing!!!! It feels like our year. That’s got to be a backbreaker for the Pelicans. If you can’t win that one on your home court, you’re done.

I clearly disagree with D above. The Warriors are not the best team in the NBA because other teams just keep screwing up. They impose their will on other teams and when they get on a run they are as good as anyone has ever been. 5th best record in NBA history with point differential better than even the best the Bulls had to offer in the Jordan years. They are streaky by design, because when Curry catches fire, he’s unstoppable.

I’m not defending the Pels, but they’ve played their hearts out. They’re just overmatched, and I guess that’s why they’re the 8 seed while Golden State is #1 with a bullet!

  39. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Al, I don’t agree that experience is overrated. In fact I think it’s kind of asinine to think that. LOL

  40. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Gigi, Tannehill had a very good year last year. Not sure what the excuse thing is all about.

    • I never care about personal stats only winning and unfortunately, we have not made the playoffs with him as our QB. Russell Wilson is not a good statistical QB but he is a proven WINNER (except for that stupid fucking pass in the SB and gave Brady & Belicheat another ring). Factr is Tanny still can’t throw the ball deep accurately, he takes one too many sacks for someone as athletic as he is, etc.

  41. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

    • “I think Tanny is one of the best things we have going ” — this makes me muy triste because I so disagree – we shall see,

    • D's avatar D says:

Im in full agreement here. He has done nothing but push himself and continue to grow. You may have wanted a superbowl in his second year but this is how shit happens in the real world, you make a few changes, get better, make some more get better, until there you are in a good place. Its a hard thing in the NFL with salary caps and people leaving all the time in FA, but i feel a lot better about our team than days past and i really cant see how anyone cant see that same thing.

  44. D's avatar D says:

Tanny vs Henne comparison isnt very good one, Henne was shitty….and he didnt improve every year. The only reason Tanny is being questioned is that WE havent been to the playoffs, and last time i checked WE were failing in a lot of areas he has 0 control over. Every year is a make or break to improve if you ask me, but more accurately this is pivotal for us to show some signs of playoff hopes. Make or break is pretty dumb statement because it pretty much a never ending statement. Im pretty sure this is a make or break year for SF, NO, ARI, SD, Philly, DEN, etc. Only people its not a make or break year for are teams starting completely over or those who are already pre-ordained to be in the playoffs before the season begins.

  45. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I’m done with this current Tannehill discussion because it’s silly. He’s on the rise and a lot of players signed with us because of him.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Right on, it’s dumb to point fingers at Tannehill, when there have been soooo many other reasons why the Phins didn’t make the playoffs.
That’s why we paid $100+M to Suh….stop the run damn it.

  46. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Gigi, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Seriously it’s as if you don’t know what’s going on with the team. LOL

    • I don’t know what is going on – they have an allegedly good young QB so they dump all his receivers? Yeah makes sense to me. Maybe it’s all this kush I am smoking frying my brain. 😛

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

You know why we got rid of Wallace. Gibson was average making too much money and wore out his welcome with his dumb comments in support of Wallace. Hartline made too much money per his production and we decided to go in another direction. Clay chose $11M more to go to the Bills, it’s not like they’re all set at QB there.

Landry, Stills, and Matthews are all on the cheap and Jennings signed a cap friendly vet deal. We just cut the WR contracts from over $100M total to about $16M or so. I think that had a lot to do with it. LOL

  47. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Talk about a record that will never be broken.

“For three-time Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw to break Cy Young’s record of 511 wins, he’ll need to stay at his current pace for the next 41 years, until he is 68.”

    • D's avatar D says:

LOL yeah man i know its a staggering number. They picted practically every other game back in the day not on a 4-5 man rotation but still its a crazy impressive number. So is Pete Rose’s hit total, and a few other stats. When you read them they are staggering. Ricky Henderson’s single season SB totals seem pretty untouchable these days.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

For sure the game has changed…….pretty sure whoever owns the NFL record for drop kicks is set for all time.

  48. D's avatar D says:

Statement about players leaving because of him are wildly off. They cut those players, with exception of Clay who would have resigned if we matched the money. Cameron stated one of his reasons was the vibe he got the team and the vibe he got from talking with Tanny and watching him play. Cameron makes the point from his own words, and Clay’s words when exiting doesnt dispute it.

    • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Agree. It’s a business. People want to get paid and owners want to only pay for production.

    • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

It’s just that for even money, he’d rather be in Miami for many reasons which includes the QB.

The one move that might have been a hit on Tanny, or at least the admission that they did not give him a WR who best fit his strengths, was trading Wallace. BUt then that also could have just been cause Wallaced POed Joe P.

      • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Wallace getting paid 10 mill had nothing to do with it …. lol.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

But most of that was already sunk into him. We’re still taking most of his cap hit this year.

      • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Wallace got traded because he quit on the team. I am willingly closed minded to any other explanations as they don’t pass the sniff test.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

For sure that was a part of it Jahn, probably most of it. But his fit for the scheme and level of play must have factored in as well. If he was All Pro and connected on 12 deep TDs with Tanny he might still be on the roster.

    GDP,
What’s your gut feeling on the Fins first pick?
I’m thinking CB but for am somehow feeling that if Scherff slides to 14, would be hard to pass on him.

  51. Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Here’s three things we learned from the game.

    1. This is the NBA’s best team

On a night that wasn’t their best, against an emotionally charged squad on their electric home court led by Davis, the Warriors really ought to have lost this game. They didn’t. That’s terrifying.

It’s way too soon to anoint Golden State as anything other than the NBA’s best regular season team — they won 67 games and earned that title. But games like this are a reminder just how special a season they’re having and just how dangerous they are when firing at every cylinder. Against a playoff team, they only needed to play Warriors basketball for one quarter and an extra five minutes, and it was still enough.

    • Was watching at future in-laws and dammit this Warriors team is fun to watch I honestly thought they were gonna lose. Hope they in it all this year since my Heat are not in the playoffs.

      • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

We’re happy to have you as fan even if we’re only your backup. At least the Heat are in the East. I always feel like having a fav team in each conference is fair game. 🙂

  52. Guys don’t get your boxers in a bunch over anything I say I just like to stir shit up. 😛

  53. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    Jahn,
    Agree 100%.
Warriors took it to NOLA deep in the game.
Green was balling down the stretch with his hustle on D and slashing on O.
Bogut was balling as well getting 1 arm above Asik and others around the basket.

    • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Lol..I couldn’t agree more with this line…and I admit, I’m wallowing in Warrior pride right now. Gotta enjoy this stuff when it happens to your team, as we all know, life is short and teams like this are not a birthright:

On a night that wasn’t their best, against an emotionally charged squad on their electric home court led by Davis, the Warriors really ought to have lost this game. They didn’t. That’s terrifying.

  54. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

    Al,
It’s wide open now after the Jennings signing, even tho it’s essentially a 1 yr deal.
I’d be ok with La’el Collins or Scherff sliding to us. Gurley at #14 would be hard to pass on too.
But I see a trade down being the top thing Hickey wants to do.
If they get the trade down, it could be WR Perriman, LB Kendricks, CB Jones, Peters….

    • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

You know, I could see any of that OR a trade up. I can not remember being more in the dark about which direction we’ll go in the draft, and I think that’s a good thing.

  58. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Jahn & Tim, I’ve warmed to the idea of Gurley if Lazor & Philbin are wanting to go more run heavy. But at some point we need to draft both a WR (Jennings is aging) & a CB (Grimes is aging) and of course a LB (ranks are thin)

    • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Agreed, although I think the CB crop is weak this year and next year is going to be better for shopping for CBs. It also gives us 1 more year to see how the young guys develop, and I think both have shown promise when given the opportunity.

    • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Now watch them go out and do what nobody expects …draft Randy Gregory or tradedown and draft Maxx LOL (j/k)

    • dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

I actually like Melvin Gordon in this offense a lot. Wouldn’t mind moving back a few spots and picking him up.

  59. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Would be nice to add a versatile OL somewhere in the draft. A lower tier OT that can immediately play OG for now.

  60. Jahn: Seriously happy for you. I was lucky to watch the Heat win a few championships since 2006, so I hope you get the same thrill!!

  61. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

GD, we can still draft WRs or CBs in other rounds and I doubt the team has given up on Taylor and Davis.

I’m not a fan of taking RBs this high in the draft especially a guy coming off of knee surgery but I get it if we do. We better fuckin run the ball then. LOL

  63. Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

Dbolt, any other year I’d be talking about Gordon because I really like that kid and his attitude. But to me, Gurley is special, and once a decade kind of talent, and I think he’d make us a legitimate contender as an addition to this offense. With that guy as a threat, Jennings, Stills, Cameron and Landry (and Matthews) through the air. Some improved OL play (lets start by being healthy for a season) and defenses are going to have nightmares about us. Adding him on offense, Suh on the other side taking double team pressures off of Wake and Vernon, and we crossed the fine line between average and good and then kept right on crossing the other fine line between good and great, in one offseason.

I do like Gordon though. If we landed him in a trade back I wouldnt’ complain one bit.

    • dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

I’m all for Gurley, but reiterating that Im good with Gordon also. Gurley has that Steven Jackson ability w/ more speed while Gordon has a Charles style to his game but built more compactly. Both have ELITE vision. Like both players a lot.

  64. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

There are a lot of “good” CB’s in this draft, just not really any great ones. I think there are some 3rd -5th RD CB’s that could be starters.

  65. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    Tim,
I don’t think the team has given up on Taylor/Davis either but they haven’t proven to be reliable either. Waynes, Peters, & Johnson still come into the NFL with more ‘talent’ by most scouts estimates. Someone will replace Grimes eventually. Either way, as you said, lots of options in RD 1 because quality exists in RD 2….Can go G in RD 2, WR in RD 2, RB in RD 2, CB in RD 2, TE in RD 2, LB in RD 2. Getting Jennings gave Miami at least the minimum for 3 WR sets.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Taylor and Davis are only going into their 3rd years. Big season for both of them. I think Taylor is starter material, he has to stay healthy though. He’s physical, he can tackle and he’s shown good coverage skills.

      • dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

That Thursday night came vs Buffalo he was lights out. Was playing decently vs Denver until 3rd & 20 which was followed later by what should’ve been offensive PI & a season ending shoulder injury.

Al, good stuff from PFF…..I remember when that went down…I was like WTF did Ditka just do??? lol
As we’ve seen a couple of times with Jeffro, trading down is usually a losing proposition as far as bang for your buck so to speak.
It’s a team game, not a one to two player game.

  76. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

LOL, I’ve said this since before the bowl games even started.

A longtime NFL personnel executive told Bob McGinn he sees JaMarcus Russell in Jameis Winston.
“I see the body. I see the lack of focus,” the executive said. “I see the same coach and system. Only Winston’s not as good an athlete and his arm isn’t as strong as JaMarcus’.” With every single anonymous scout or executive comment, it is worth noting it is a singular opinion. Do not extrapolate one opinion as something the entire NFL believes. The NFL’s track record on quarterbacks (and their implementation) is not great. With that said, the NFL does have more information on prospects than those on the outside, but we aren’t applying the executive’s reasoning here.
