I think Marpet is too raw to go that high. I don’t see him being able to step in day 1 and help. I think he is more of a Billy Turner type that will need a year to develop. I see Fisher as ready from day 1 and he can play OG or OT.

Tomlinson and Cann are not great ZBS fits from what I read. They’re more power scheme types.
Erving, Humphries and Marpet are good fits.
Ken, Turner didn’t make an impact because he had turf toe for like 12 weeks. Not because he needed time to develop. I like Marpet at #47 based on what I read and watched of him. But I get your hesitation.
It was more to do with being raw that was the word from day 1 and camp and preseason. He has great talent but he was raw. I think Marpet will be much the same way. I like both but like Turner I think Marpet will need time.

McDuffie won his lawsuit because the Dolphins basically told him to continue playing on the toe even though an MRI revealed a torn ligament…the most severe type of turf toe. McDuffie still played on the injury. His injury probably required surgery instead of just being told to keep playing on it. I don’t believe Turner’s did.
I remember. He was one of my favorite Dolphins of all time.
