…Still no pads

Dolphins Camp

Day one of training camp is in the books. Dallas Thomas has already been replaced, lol, and Michael Preston is our start WR. Forget DeVante Parker, Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills or the “Juice”, Preston caught two long bombs on the first day of camp and has been elevated to hero. This will be day two of practice today meaning there won’t be any hitting again. All we really want to see is the hitting. Dallas Thomas won’t lose anything until the pads come on nor will any one else. It’s one thing to know your assignments and be technically sound but as a lineman you have to move bodies so we will soon see who does.

It sounds like by all accounts that the energy is high, the attitude of the team is excellent and that even talk of having lofty expectations isn’t causing anyone to run away screaming. Word came out yesterday from Coach Philbin that NDominant Suh himself was taking 2nd round pick Jordan Phillips under his wing and that Suh had him working out with him. No problem there, thanks big man.

Suh is here, everything is different now!

No you di’ent

#strongertogether

All in all day one was taken as a positive, onward and upward for these Dolphins!

I didn’t see that, but that’s freaking cool man!

I am digging this competition with D-line dominating the O-line the FIRST day. I have been hearing that for the first time in like forever that the offense has been ahead of the defense. Now when the pads came on it flipped the other way. I would love to see young guys on the offensive line take it personally and come back tomorrow with a passion

That article does nothing to change my mind that the Patriots cheated, Tom Brady cheated, and they constantly look to push the envelope. I think it’s about time the wussy commissioner finally slapped the wrist of that teflon cheating organization. I don’t think there’s any grudge against Belichick, it’s more that he finally did what he should have done.

I think somebody changed the PSI and who requested it but who did it is in question and who can prove it. Spygate was about nothing and the NFL saved face by penalizing them over a location of someone filming defensive signals during a game.

Ok Billy watch that film tonight and figure out how Suh whooped your ass today and stop him from doing it tomorrow. ( or at least show improvement, Suh is the best in the game after all)

    • Tim Knight says:

Suh’s rookie year 2nd team AllPro and DROY. Next 4 seasons Pro Bowl and 1st team AllPro. That’s what these guys are going up against.

      • Try Pod says:

Suh is already on his sixth season.. Wow- time flies!

      • jetsssuck says:

joe rose said he needs to tone it down because he could hurt someone or worse he could get injured. He said guy acts like he’s in game when its only practice.

Linebacker Jordan Tripp is benefiting from strength gains http://bit.ly/1HeAGrS

    • Ken says:

Trip is a guy who I would love to see step up. That would put Misi back to the outside where I think he is better suited especially at setting the edge which I think he does really well

Jay Ajayi just put Koa Misi on the ground during pass protection drill. Nice!

    Is that good or bad?

During the Joe Philbin era year two players usually take the biggest jump. I’m seeing that with Walt Aikens & Jordan Tripp.

Jay Ajayi with a nice check down catch and he stiff arms a defender. He’s smooth catching passes over the backfield.
