It’s (Preseason) GAME DAY! #3

header                 (Header from CBS Sports)

It’s the game that’s traditionally closest to what a regular season game will be.  The starters will likely play a full half and likely into the 3rd Quarter.  It’s the first game the Dolphins will be playing at Sun Life Stadium after an offseason of renovations.  It’s one more game closer to a game that matters.

LET’S GO DOLPHINS!!!!

franks hasn’t been cut. interesting. I think they think he’ll get pouched right away. They like franks.

  2. getterdone says:

Franks I gambled on in the roster picks.
    Frankie goes to Miami!

  3. Tim Knight says:

Remember TEs are required to do more than just be receivers and make one big play in the PS. They serve as TE, H-Back and FB and then STs if you’re a #3. If you’re lacking in multiple areas in those responsibilities you’re not worthy of the 53. What Robinson is now going to be the focus of the offense? LOL

He reminded me of David Martin who helped us get to the playoffs.

      • Tim Knight says:

He’ll never see the field with Cameron and Sims. Cameron is better than Martin was and Sims is a solid traditional TE. Our offense is more based off the WR and RB anyway.

  6. Tim Knight says:

LOL @ Boulder on Home’s rant. Nah I’ll take Tannehill again. 🙂

  7. naplesfan2010 says:

Tim Do you really think we will only play two TEs the whole year?; even without injuries we would need to sub some time or other. I think Semisch is intriguing at 6’8 for a Red Zone jump ball target, but he is raw and could go on the PS without much risk of getting poached.

This made me laugh. Totally non football related.

SteveCCNV; Actualy, the Thursday game DOES have plenty of relevance to the team, ESPECIALLY in the case of punting and placekicking jobs, as well as quite a few other jobs on the team that are still up for grabs. And I DO HOPE the first teamers play at least one or two series for the benefit of season ticket holders who are forced to pay regular season prices for exhibition contests. Personally, I won’t be there. In fact I’ve only been to ONE exhibition game since 1989.

  11. Tim Knight says:

Naples, Robinson is not a TE, he’s a receiver only. Don’t need him. We underrate what TEs have to do in this league.

  12. Tim Knight says:

GD, maybe PS for Robinson at some point but we also allowed him enough time to find work elsewhere. He was cut before the 75 deadline so he’s not high on our radar.

LOL @ Herd’s video, Mrs. son and I both lol’d

  14. getterdone says:

    Alain Poupart @apoupartFins
Former @MiamiDolphins RB Daniel Thomas released by the Bears.

  15. Try Pod says:

    Herd,
Videos like that make me so uncomfortable, I can’t watch them. My wife laughs at the stuff I get squeamish about. Just some things.. Lol
