Game 3…The Dolphins host the Bills
The Dolphins host the Bills Sunday in a late afternoon home opening game. Both teams are 1-1 which means the team that loses will fall to last place in the AFC East with the hated Patriots and Jets both at 2-0 after week 2. How depressing is that thought? There was such hope and anticipation for this season and even though this is only week 3 it’s a pivotal game. Will the Dolphins wake up and play the type of game we have expected? Or will the fans wake up to realize once again we are just a mediocre team with a long season ahead?
Looking at the injury report doesn’t help, several key players are banged up and reportedly Branden Albert and Dion Sims are out for the game.
Richie Incognito is returning to town along with the Bills and their new coach Rex Ryan. The Bills also have LeSean McCoy at running back and receivers Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin, with McCoy and Harvin both listed as probable on the Bills injury report with hamstring and hip injuries respectively. Our former kicker Dan Carpenter also is listed as probable with an abdominal injury. Questionable is receiver Marcus Easley and LB Tony Steward. Out for the game is safety Aaron Williams and receiver Marquise Goodwin.
I’d like to imagine we will play a good game, we win, the Bills drop to last place, both the Jets and Pats lose and we are in a three way(calm down FFR) tie for 1st place. Not likely to happen, but a win would go a long way to restoring some credibility and confidence in this team.

We need a win today. 1-1 in the next two will suffice, but 0-2 and our season is toast. It would be nice to have a good game today, pull out a win and gain some momentum for next week. Two tough divisional matchups agaisnt two of the better defenses in the NFL.

I am hoping that we take the ball first today regardless of the coin toss… We need to make an offensive statement and start with a lead, as opposed to staring in a hole at the 7:30 mark of the 1st qtr when we finally get the ball.. I had to be up early this morning, I had to go to a continuing education seminar. At least it was relevant and informative. While I still hated to be there, I definitely learned important things this morning.

No sir. Still using that shitty program. It actually had some gremlins this weekend, and I called my boss to tell him, and he thought I was just retarded, but then he looked and saw it for himself. I was a little insulted that he thought I was just doing something wrong until he saw that that the program wasn’t working properly.
It’s always nice to be tweaked by your boss about a program you have more experience with. It’s even nicer to be right!
