WHAT MAKE HULK ANGRY

incredible-hulk

By Dr. Bruce Banner

Rage!!!! Smash!!!! Slam!!!! Hulk no see Red. Hulk see green, miserable gang green. Hulk so angry he want to replace Jets toilet paper with sand paper. But Hulk should no be angry with miserable putrid Jets. Jets did nothing wrong except play football. Hulk angry with miserable putrid Dolphins. Miserable putrid Dolphins no show up in London, the same could be said about Washington, Jacksonville and Buffalo (well that was in Miami but you get point). Hulk angry that miserable putrid Dolphins have no anger like Hulk. Why should Hulk get angry when miserable putrid Dolphins show no anger? Show no emotion? Show they no care? Why should Hulk care? Hulk don’t know why but Hulk cares, Hulk cares so much it hurts! Why it no hurt for Suh? Why it no hurt for Tannehill? Why it no hurt for Misi? Why? Because miserable putrid Dolphins led by miserable putrid Joe Philbin who get more angry about a gum wrapper on the practice field than the piece of shit that Dolphins leave on playing field every week. Miserable putrid Dolphins take on personality of emotionless, stoic, rudderless and clueless head coach. Coach Joe may be nice guy but Hulk no care. Hulk want good football coach and now 4 years into Coach Joe era Hulk know we no have one.

Hulk angry that he has watch uninspired, flat football for the better part of the last 16 years but it has been especially flat in the Philbin years. Yes there was the Cam Cameron disaster but that only last one year. Yes Tony Sparano fist pumped the Dolphins through a period of mediocrity but at least he produced one of Hulk’s favorite seasons in 2008 when Dolphins were fun and exciting to watch with innovative wildcat offense. At least Sparano recognized after 2 games the need to change when things were wrong unlike coach Joe whose surgically inserted rod up his backside makes him unable to change even when everything go wrong. Sparano at least had fire and show emotion. Coach Joe so bad that Hulk longing for the innovative and exciting football mind of Tony Sparano. What has world come to?

Hulk angry that Dolphins become boring to watch. Hulk remember as young Hulkling watching Bob Griese throw deep to Paul Warfield and handing off to some guy named Zonk who run over everyone. Hulk remember how Dan Marino made every Sunday a must watch, how no matter how far behind Dan could and often did bring team back from impossible deficits. Hulk remember defense of Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Tim Bowens, Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain and how they could just stop an opposing offense cold. What Hulk got to watch now? Another failed 3rd and long conversion? Another 3rd and long conversion against our defense? A costly penalty at a crucial time? Hulk see this script too many times. Every team seen this script too many times. Every team know what we going to do. Every team no have respect for Phins and why should they when coach Joe just stand and stare from sideline looking like he is waiting for his constipation medicine to start working. The only problem is that it is coach Joe that needs to be flushed if this team and franchise is ever to become a winner again. Hulk done!

Coach Joe waiting for his constipation medicine to work:

Like Kong said, as long as it’s consistent, and equal for both teams, what’s to gripe?

    • Mike E. says:

To add, I’ve never seen one team get calls, and the other one not. It may seem that way on one pitch maybe, but on the whole, i think the umpires do a great job of being consistent for both teams.

‘Now wait a minute. I see you guys talking fantasy advice. What’s the difference when I do it?’

i say nothing at all, as a matter fact that is a blog i wont scroll thru. i will read every word over and over. i think you ought to write a long long long long blog (or giwalk) and in great slow long drawn out detail tell us all about your fantasy.

you must not watch many rays games. the smaller market teams get it all the time. and like i said, it isnt the rules. it leads to manipulation and i see it all the time. if it didnt matter we wouldnt be having this conversation. either call the game by the rules or change your rules

ROB; There’s a better chance Dolly Parton wil appear in the nude on a pogo stick at the Patriots-Fins game than there is of Miami making the playoffs!! But if Campbell DOES LEAD Miami to the playoffs, will you admit riring “Clueless Joe” was the right thing to do??
    __________________________________________________________

well now you have me rooting against Miami, GO DOLLY.

as for Joe, yes it was the right move to dump him regardless of what Campbell does.

Joe and Lazor have the wrong philosophy, they are good at the dink and dunk what they suck at is imposing their will on the DL,
I’m from the old school, run to set up the pass

    • steveccnv says:

You can dink and dunk, but you better be able to scare teams deep, like we did last yr with Wallace, this yr with that threat gone teams are loading the box. Same thing happened when we got rid of Ginn.

      • The Flying Pig says:

I think stills and Parker can be utilized this way
And maybe be even more effective than Wallace ever was even at his best

But it’s just not in the game plan

Completely agree with you about sinking and dunking requiring a deep threat though

You need to create space underneath
And your really can’t sink and dunk to 10 1st downs before you are a threat to score consistently

I feel like we need a drive to convert 7 or 8 first downs to get a TD with this offense
That is fine on the ground if you wear a defense down

But the short passes aren’t wearingn anyone down

      • steveccnv says:

Yes they are, the short passes are wearing our O down.

      • ocalarob says:

you need to stretch the field for sure, however we don’t run the ball, we lose the running stats by a huge margin every game and that means we lose time of possession, that affects the whole team.

it makes us look bad at all facets, when you leave your Defense on the field 40 minutes out of 60 you’re gonna get blown out, nothing good can come of that.

we need to run the ball with the qb under center, we need a big back and a FB and we need to impose our will against DLs and LBs, that will bring the LB’s and safety’s up to try to stop the run and play action will open up the short and deep passing game.

we don’t need Wallace to stretch the field i believe cameron can be a huge seam threat

I thought so, but I don’t get the woman card thing?

some stupid asswipe used that with gigi earlier today and chased her off her own creation. that guy is such an ass

  9. steveccnv says:

Are the balls and strikes already going in the Cubs favor? ESPN Gamecast had pitches 3 and 4 in the zone called balls.

Steve Sax now playing 2nd base for the Bucs.

    WWWHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT

wow first stanger, mike e picking up single men, now i hear the fins cut ginn. this is the longest day of my life it will nnnnnnneeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeerrrrrrr end

  12. Mike E. says:

    FFR

Let me fix that. I don’t watch ANY Rays games, unless of course they’re playing the Mets. I have to have a stake in the game to watch baseball, even though I love the sport. It’s difficult for me to watch a regular season game between 2 teams I don’t care about. Impossible even.

  13. steveccnv says:

At least I didn’t drop a hundy on the Fins to win the SB, like I may have, if the odds didn’t go down so far.

  14. getterdone says:

Blue Adams kid is fighting cancer. My heart & prayers go out to them. May you win the battle Danny.
    Go Danny!

  15. finfanrob says:

    mike,

i get that, i can barely watch a whole rays game. baseball needs to find away of speeding up the game. but i see it all the time in the rays games. and this isnt like a homer like the fins, i am more a casual fan of mlb. but i even here the rays announcers over and over say how some guy is getting a fourth strike and when they show that strike zone box you can see how they are right. then watch a rays batter have to swing at shit he cant hit with a telephone pole

    • steveccnv says:

It happens way to often, that’s why I mentioned using technology. What if we still had to go into the bank, or wait in that stupid drive thru teller every Friday to deposit out checks?

  16. Mike E. says:

    Rob

No shit, I’ve watched over 100 Mets games, not always from start to finish, but the majority of those games, and it’s not something that I’ve seen.

  17. The Flying Pig says:

    ORob
I think we need to run more to
But I do like the west coast offense
And I’m okay with not being a run first team
But if we are a pass first team – you would think we would move the ball better – but nope

    • getterdone says:

Al Saunders will hopefully help that….He’s more a traditional WCO guy that likes the run to set up the passing more often…we’ll see….it’s not gonna be an over night transition, but I think we’ll see the offense get back to a truer WCO that has the threat of a running game in time.

    • ocalarob says:

If you play out of the shotgun every play LBs have time to determine if it’s a run or pass, the RB gets the ball farther back than he would if the QB was under center, this gives the D time to evaluate the play and we become an easy read, then when we get down in the score the D starts pinning their ears back and blitzing us because they know we have to pass.
this type of offense eliminates play action and play action keeps the D guessing, when you pound the LOS with a big back running full speed at the qb who is under center and he gets the hand off he’s closer to the LOS when he gets the ball the LBs have to commit so when we play fake and pass they are out of position.

i’m not saying you can’t play out of the gun at all, when you have the D on their heals go for it, all i’m saying is our base offense should have the QB under center and we shouyld use play action.

      • The Flying Pig says:

I typically make similiar arguments about the shotgun
I hate running out of it

Green Bay manages to do it well though
there are a few teams out there that manage to pull it off

      • ocalarob says:

i believe GB doesn’t always do it they run lacy pretty damn good, even the pats play from under center with blount

  18. steveccnv says:

Mike, isn’t softball so much better since they put that mat in behind the plate?

  19. The Flying Pig says:

    Steve

I bet the odds are great right now…lol

    • steveccnv says:

I’m going down there shortly to catch the end of the Bucs game and will take a look, but I surely won’t be betting it.

  20. finfanrob says:

for the record, i was joking about the cubs winning, got no dawg in this game so just cause you like them pulling for the priates (sorry i cant type out pulling for the other name no matter what sport)

but fair warning me pulling for them is the kiss of death

  21. finfanrob says:

    mike,

i would say and by no means do i watch a lot of games just parts of games, but within each and every game that comment is made at one point by the commentators

shouldnt a pass first team have a top tier qb to run the offense?

(just more of the old staff not coaching to players strengths)

  23. steveccnv says:

We’re 100-1 and 150-1 to win the SB.

  24. olddolphan says:

HERD and/or PIGGY; –To answer a statement made by Piggy a few hours ago, ANYTIME you guys want to run any of the “ABSOLUTE PERFECTION” games or any of the “FOLLOWING PERFECTION” games you have my permission to do so. IF POSSIBLE, give me a few days notice so I can look for it when you run it, even if I’ve been away for several days as I frequently am during the year. THANK YOU.

  25. olddolphan says:

FFR: SO FAR, your JINX is holding up. 3 runs might be enough for Arrieta tonight. HOWEVER, if the Cubs win tonight, it will only set up their fans for GREATER PAIN LATER IN THE PLAYOFFS!! Bring on the goat, the black cat, and, the biggest of them all, a Steve Bartman look-alike wearing a MARLINS JERSEY!!

  26. Tim Knight says:

Is the Bucs/Cubs game on TV nationally?

  27. ocalarob says:

the reason we are losing games is because we are losing the running game battle, if we want to start winning games we have to somehow win that battle and it aint working out of the shotgun.

i believe that the philosophy lazor has instilled in this team makes the D and the OL look bad, i think that if you turn these guys loose and start run blocking and giving our running game the edge by having the QB under center the whole team will look better as they should.

it’s all about time, when that RB gets the ball closer to the LOS than he would out of the gun those few miileseconds make all the difference in the world.

  28. steveccnv says:

Is this a replay of last nights game?

  29. steveccnv says:

    Bucs are done

  30. finfanrob says:

that last strike out pitch is my bitch. the ball is clearly outside of the strike zone and on top of that unhittable it gives the pitcher an unfair advantage. if they are going to do that they should let the batters have aluminum bats

You won’t have your hands full against the Dodgers, with Kershaw and Greinke?

If the Mets can get past the Dodgers, we’ll have our hands full. It was a comment about the two teams playing tonight.

  32. Tim Knight says:

How are the Bucs done down 4-0? I’ve seen them do this before.

  33. Tim Knight says:

Steve, I think the RBs not hitting the hole is synonymous with the lack of physical nature of the OL. The LBs are struggling because the DL isn’t blowing up anything.

    • steveccnv says:

Mostly in the opener, on the first drive Miller on third down had a hole to the right of Alberts, and he goes left, the way Alberts blocked him, then the 4th down slow developing play in the first half where Damien didn’t cut it back. I don’t remember the others, those were the 2 that stood out.

  34. Tim Knight says:

That hurt the Bucs chances. They had a big opportunity there. Been there done that with the Mets. It’s baseball.

lmao, can you imagine the cubs blogs or the likes if the cubs lose this game. with the jinx thing, we will never win again thing. they will be a city wide curfew but not for loitering after hours but for not allowing people to get on anything over two feet off the ground

  36. finfanrob says:

see i dont get that. getting hit like that with an off speed pitch in the ass. just run to first base clapping, jumping up and down, saying i got a freebie. or point to the score board, just try to show up the other pitcher, dont let him think he got the best of you.

  37. finfanrob says:

    tim,

dont listen to steve about the rb’s dancing. he is just still sensitive about every one laughing at him over his lame Thriller skit he did at his high school prom so he picks on anyone that takes to many steps to fast

  38. Tim Knight says:

Steve, for me as a Mets fan just being in the postseason is enough. We’re talking about a team that won 70ish games for like 5 years in a row. The org put out a goal of 90 wins at the beginning of the year, we fans all laughed, at least I did. I felt with the pitching maybe 85 and no playoffs. But Alderson did what he said they would try to do at the right time and turned the team into something completely different within a week. Without the pitching it would have never happened.

Everything from here is gravy for me. I’ll enjoy it.

    • steveccnv says:

Just like Toronto the season drastically changed with the players they acquired before the trade deadline, it’s almost like stealing, but WTF the Dodgers and Yankees do the same thing before the season starts so…
