Rage!!!! Smash!!!! Slam!!!! Hulk no see Red. Hulk see green, miserable gang green. Hulk so angry he want to replace Jets toilet paper with sand paper. But Hulk should no be angry with miserable putrid Jets. Jets did nothing wrong except play football. Hulk angry with miserable putrid Dolphins. Miserable putrid Dolphins no show up in London, the same could be said about Washington, Jacksonville and Buffalo (well that was in Miami but you get point). Hulk angry that miserable putrid Dolphins have no anger like Hulk. Why should Hulk get angry when miserable putrid Dolphins show no anger? Show no emotion? Show they no care? Why should Hulk care? Hulk don’t know why but Hulk cares, Hulk cares so much it hurts! Why it no hurt for Suh? Why it no hurt for Tannehill? Why it no hurt for Misi? Why? Because miserable putrid Dolphins led by miserable putrid Joe Philbin who get more angry about a gum wrapper on the practice field than the piece of shit that Dolphins leave on playing field every week. Miserable putrid Dolphins take on personality of emotionless, stoic, rudderless and clueless head coach. Coach Joe may be nice guy but Hulk no care. Hulk want good football coach and now 4 years into Coach Joe era Hulk know we no have one.
Hulk angry that he has watch uninspired, flat football for the better part of the last 16 years but it has been especially flat in the Philbin years. Yes there was the Cam Cameron disaster but that only last one year. Yes Tony Sparano fist pumped the Dolphins through a period of mediocrity but at least he produced one of Hulk’s favorite seasons in 2008 when Dolphins were fun and exciting to watch with innovative wildcat offense. At least Sparano recognized after 2 games the need to change when things were wrong unlike coach Joe whose surgically inserted rod up his backside makes him unable to change even when everything go wrong. Sparano at least had fire and show emotion. Coach Joe so bad that Hulk longing for the innovative and exciting football mind of Tony Sparano. What has world come to?
Hulk angry that Dolphins become boring to watch. Hulk remember as young Hulkling watching Bob Griese throw deep to Paul Warfield and handing off to some guy named Zonk who run over everyone. Hulk remember how Dan Marino made every Sunday a must watch, how no matter how far behind Dan could and often did bring team back from impossible deficits. Hulk remember defense of Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Tim Bowens, Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain and how they could just stop an opposing offense cold. What Hulk got to watch now? Another failed 3rd and long conversion? Another 3rd and long conversion against our defense? A costly penalty at a crucial time? Hulk see this script too many times. Every team seen this script too many times. Every team know what we going to do. Every team no have respect for Phins and why should they when coach Joe just stand and stare from sideline looking like he is waiting for his constipation medicine to start working. The only problem is that it is coach Joe that needs to be flushed if this team and franchise is ever to become a winner again. Hulk done!
Coach Joe waiting for his constipation medicine to work:

I also think it is symptomatic of the “Instant Gratification/Microwave” society we’ve created- “I WANT IT FIXED, AND I WANT IT NOW!”
not sure what part of instant gratification part fits the fins. it isnt like fans have been waiting just a year or two for them to be great again

OK: “I want it fixed and I want it WITHIN 4 YEARS!!” AND, TRYPOD, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH “Instant Gratification” at all. Bravo to you, FFR, for seeing this.
Way to totally misinterpret what I said. If either of you can’t see the difference, then, as someone on this board often says, “I don’t know what to tell you”.

The only things that strikes me as odd, is usually fans bitch about the GM, the Head Coach, the coordinators, or maybe even the President of Football Operations. It’s rare that fans rag about the owner, especially when he spends any amount of $$$ necessary. Usually, fans complain about the owner when he won’t spend money to improve the team. This is definitely an odd phenomenon. I wonder where it comes from.
———————————————
Usually when they do rag about the owner is because he is too involved in football operations and not just signing the checks lol, but the truth is this is purge mentality and people just want to see a full purge including ownership. I cant see it either and i do find it irrational but somehow it makes sense to them i guess.
Anger is distinctly illogical.
HC Campbell’s 1st practice!
Giving that look to Misi!
Someone else got something to say?
Dude has nothing to lose. Team does well and next year he is the youngest HC in the NFL. Unless things crash and burn, he’s made his name on the HC future list even if we bring in a big name after the season. Two days ago he was our TE coach.
Your blocking disgusts me. Be a primate & jump on somebody!

@OmarKelly So you honestly believe that a first time head coach is concerned about putting on a show for the media.
LOL
GD, that’s universally agreed upon with scientists on humans and chimpanzees. It’s the 1.2 percent that blows everyone’s mind that won’t accept it, but that’s how little difference there is between lots of species.
Lots of junk so called “science” goes into that whole deal and has for a long long time. So eventually it became somewhat accepted just in the junk science community as to that’s the best thing we got for now.

Now FFR does something a lil different to the monkey, but i digress…..
Doesnt matter if we are 1.2% from Chimpanzee or 12%. I can look in the mirror and tel1 that 1.2 is a lot, and in fact it accouns for millions upon millions.
Each human cell contains roughly three billion base pairs, or bits of information. Just 1.2 percent of that equals about 35 million differences.
So maybe the percentages look really close, but the similarities arent really that close at all.
I agree. Back in the day it took me awhile to understand it until I watched a show about it and it made sense. That’s why chimps look like chimps and we don’t.
There are other species you would never know are closely related but they are.

Miko Grimes is scheduled for arraignment Oct. 27 on charges of disorderly conduct, battery on a police officer and resisting arrest with violence. She was arrested Sunday while walking in the stadium parking lot, and police say she disobeyed an officer’s command to stop, became combative and head-butted an officer.
”Miko is fine,” Grimes said Wednesday, talking publicly about the incident for the first time. ”I really don’t want to talk about Miko. That will handle itself.”
I mean what can he do and what can he say. He has to not badmouth his wife, and he cant really stand in support of those actions either. He handled himself as he should have, and despite my despise for the way Miko acts and the negative attention she brings on him, i have always appreciated that about Grimes,. He keeps to himself and handles himself pretty professionally.
She is trash, and race baits, she is the very opposite personality wise of him from everything i have seen.

Pardon me for chiming in,
i dont think your stance on this is realistic from an owners standpoint,
when Philbin took over the team there was a serious lack of talent, forget the first 2 years due to that,
we should have expected progress in the third year but i would think you would have to give him 4 years, and he didn’t get that long, he only got 3 years and 4 games so by that Ross cut ties early..
you cant just hire a guy and if he doesn’t go to the playoffs his first 2 years fire him, you will never win if you keep a revolving door with staff.
i don’t see that Ross had any choice but to stand the course with philbin.
LOOK, again, Rob, look again!! OF COURSE he had a choice! In his 2nd year, Shula took a team that won 3 games in ’69 to a Super Bowl. Now I DON’T EXPECT that with EVERY new coach. But 3 non-winning seasons in a row at the start of your head coaching career means “You just don’t have it” in my book. Others are, of course, entitled to their opinions. But, if I’m paying for season tickets (and I AM) 3 seasons is al you get from the start of your career to produce a winning season.

Id like to see Dowling brougt up as well. I wanna see some of these big bioy CB’s in action, and get some playing time.
I’m pretty sure the Germans bombed pearl harbor thing is a movie quote but I could be wrong. Animal House? Bluto?
Forget he’s rolling.
Bluto from Animal House:
“What? Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!”
Sound familiar? LOL
Duh, yeah it sounds familiar, Tanny just said it earlier today.
It was reported as a serious comment. I didn’t remember that quote. He basically said the exact quote. I found it funny.
Im jonking…. lol. Read it again with a joking tone.
How does it work in wrestling wyoming? In football we all line up in a ring outside the player in the middle who has to run in place preparing for someone to attack from the ring. Coach calls a name or a number and that person tries to get to the guy in the center and light him up. He has to listen, reach and take the hit to the attacker.
I’m liking it.
——————————————
As practice began Wednesday, new Miami Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell stood on the sideline joking with a team executive. Strolling onto the field, he playfully wrestled a cornerback, shook hands with his kickers and shouted encouragement at a practice-squad receiver.
Then things got serious.
The offense and defense separated into two groups, one on each side. Between them players began going head to head, one on one, blocker versus tackler in a succession of confrontations, one at a time as the rest of the team watched and cheered the thwack of helmets and pads.
”It’s all about being primates,” Campbell said. ”That’s what they have those pads on for. Got to learn to use those things again.”
So we finally bid adieu to Bazooka Joe. Two years too late, but I digress. I like the idea of a neanderthal novice like Campbell as HC. If nothing else, he’ll rattle some cages and kick some asses that need to be kicked. However until Coyle follows Philbin out the door, I will not be pleased. Not at all.
D: Yes Dowling is another I’d like to see in action.. Or maybe Dan just Bitch slaps all our current ones into respectability..
Campbell must have thought all along our practices weren’t intense enough but it wasn’t his place to speak up against the HC. The fact that this was the first thing he spoke about and changed in practice is very telling.
I expect it to show in the Titans game.. Hopefully it keeps going after that and is not just a “New Coach” Blip on the radar.. wanna see a Win at the Fest, get the Texans primate off our back, and then I want to see a competitive game in Boston, so I don’t get laffed outta their stadium… Mind you if we win I may not make it outta town

I think Foster will be getting more reps this week…they need him to beat Indy & they’re at home.
Freeman is on a tear in a high scoring offense that includes his scoring & they are at home against a not so good Redskins team.
Forte is @ KC, they have a good run D. Bears suck!
Ingram @ Philly who’s run D is better at home. I’m not sure Saints have shown us enough yet. Also Ingram has been splitting carries given to Robinson that I saw this past Sunday nite game.
What Rbs you have….can we trade? Those are four of the top 10 backs going. I’d hold off on Foster cause he is just coming back, but then you never know how many touches Ingram will get in the Saints O. Up to you.

steve,
saw you comment earlier about the umpiring in baseball. i totally agree with you. when you allow an official to change the rules to their liking and not follow the actual rule you allow for the manipulation of the game. it would be like tanny over throwing a wide open wr and the ref going aaahhhh, the heck with it every one knows he cant hit the deep pass but that was close enough i am going to call it a catch. baseball either needs to call the strike zone like in the rules or change their rules.
Just use technology, it’s too easy for them control the game with the ump calling balls and strikes. I hate the ump calling balls and strikes more than I hate the unwritten rules.
In football they wear helmuts, in baseball they wear caps and have unwritten rules…

lol, i just figured when you said helmuts you were talking about the dolphins
and the rays lost a world series game in philly cause the ump decided he like a certain strike zone. before the game the announcers were even saying if he called it a certain way they picked philly if not the picked the rays. when the started was pulled from the game he tips his cap to the ump. that just screams the ump was in control of who won that game, not the players
I actually love the human element of umpires. Every umpire is a little different, which forces all players involved to adjust. It’s something I’ve always liked about baseball. If they go to just a computer calling balls and strikes, it will totally detract from the charm of the game. I actually enjoy the different styles of umpires when I play. It makes it more interesting, brings a different angle to each game.
We’d have to get over that aspect, I like that too, I just don’t like the cheating that goes along with it.
I wrote a month or so ago, that there was a stat where Greinke was in the top 5 in the league in getting balls called as strikes when he pitches, what I realized is when he and Kershaw pitch neither team scores many runs, because the strike zone during those games for both teams is expanded.
LOL @ FFR
Boulder i welcome your position on giving joe only 3 years,
as for being out of the playoffs, we are still in it, in fact we are only one game out in the last wild card spot with 12 games to go.
plenty of time to right this ship.
GO PHINS
RUN THE DAMN BALL!
Wow! I didn’t believe we were only 1 game out, so I checked and it’s accurate. I hope that message is conveyed to the players.
And we’re also tied for last in the conference.
ROB; There’s a better chance Dolly Parton wil appear in the nude on a pogo stick at the Patriots-Fins game than there is of Miami making the playoffs!! But if Campbell DOES LEAD Miami to the playoffs, will you admit riring “Clueless Joe” was the right thing to do??
getter,
i hope you are man enough to stand up to stanger. i know i wasnt, i caved under his pressure of me using the ‘woman card’ comment
ffr — I haven’t even made a comment to getterdone in a couple hours. Am sorry if I offended you by saying that might have gotten Gigi going. Love you like nothing else…..can we leave it at that?
mike,
as you can read i totally disagree with allowing the umpires to make up the strike zone. it leads to the manipulation of the game. it isnt like getting a call wrong like the lions game monday night, this is them making up how they want the rules to be. what if in that play the one refs says he was close enough to the end zone before he crossed the line to that is a td.
and like i said, if baseball wants the umps to have that control, then change the rule book.
what if in that play the one refs says he was close enough to the end zone before he crossed the line so that is a td.
——————-
then we’d have every ref that’s done a pats game in the last 15 yrs.
GDP: I hope you liked the “personal touch’ I used in my response to your question about Bill Polian. Enjoyed the back-and-forth very much, eh?

DON’T KNOW if Dan Campbell has any relatives from Alberta or Ontario. But, if he does, we’re probably distant relatives who share the same last name, per my older sister.
——————————————–
Young Stanger; I may be the only person on this site who listened to game 7 of the 1960 World Series. As you likely know, Pittsburgh’s Bill Mazeroski hit the most famous home run in Pirates’ history when he connected off of the Yankees’ Bill Terry (?) in the bottom of the 9th to give Pittsburgh a 10-9 improbable victory over New York in the deciding game. –I can STILL see the replays of left fielder Yogi Berra going back towards the wall and the ball flying over the 406 foot sign in straight-away left field in Forbes’ Field!! –Right after the game, the Yankees FIRED Casey Stengel (who had won SEVERAL WORLD SERIES), making Casey free to seek other employment. As Mike E. probably knows, Casey became the 1st manager in Mets’ history in 1961!!
Awesome OD — have my memories from 71 and 79, but that is one I only read about and see on TV. What a game though.
‘I wrote a month or so ago, that there was a stat where Greinke was in the top 5 in the league in getting balls called as strikes when he pitches’
there, that is what is wrong with the game, these are actual balls called as strikes. not some judgement whether some d linemen was held or not. they can actually see based on the rule in the rule book they are balls called as strikes. it makes the game up to the home plate ump.
I like the differences in umpires as well. As long as an ump calls it consistently for the entire game and the same for both teams I don’t care if his strike zone is the size of car or a tangerine.

lmao oh come on stanger. you have to be joking again. you know i am just busting balls and having fun. if something i say ME OF ALL PEOPLE runs someone off then they need to get their adult card checked.
It’s all cool ffr. Not one to worry about life even if I try to keep the peace at times. So thanks for the humor. Like I said — Luv you man.
Boulder, unfortunately Sam passed away a few days ago. But thanks for the support, brother.
So VERY SORRY to hear that. He leaves quite a legacy.
Thanks, OD. He really did inspire a lot of people and he’s well loved.
GDP and YOUNG STANGER; Reply for both of you up the page. Enjoy, enjoy! –And go Pirates!
I saw Boulder for a minute there. How is that season standings thing playing out?
Stanger,
You need a great game from Cole. He’s capable of it. Hopefully your hitters can get the pitch count up on Arrietta, even if they aren’t getting on base. Get to the bullpen and win it in the late innings.
great now lil precious mikie has the big fucking monkey having his back.
well fuck that, i will slip the monkey a special banana and put his ass right to sleep
Lol, I’m not sure even you have enough Rohypnol to knock out a 60 ton Gorilla.
kong,
and again, just making my point again. you cant let the umps make up the rules. they have to enforce the rules on the books. so if you want them to manipulate the strike zone then change the rule book
Luv you man.
thanks dude, but i only have room in my basement for one hulk. besides i am no Herdfan.

aaahhhhh but you so underestimates the power of being ffr. all i have to do to a woman is show her my special banana and they go right to sleep for hours
LOL
OD, yes, I enjoyed the chat ol chap….was good banter as always.
Now get on your namesake’s bandwagon & forget what Ross is eating for lunch these days. 😀
Go Dan Campbell!
Go Phins!
ffr,
I agree…if an ump is intentionally manipulating the strike zone, that is wrong. In most cases, I believe umps just have slight differences in the way they view it because it is a subjective call, not that they intentionally manipulate a strike zone.

Sheesh, Herd come on here, punches her ‘woman card’, gets the advice she was looking for then leaves w/o so much as a thanks guys. 😯
Now wait a minute. I see you guys talking fantasy advice. What’s the difference when I do it? And I didn’t so much leave as I had to go look at some homework. And listen to homework….as in listen to the star spangled banner as played by a sixth grader on a trumpet he’s played for all of 6 weeks.
But I do thank everyone for the advice. Is that better? lol
Work over. Now I get to fight traffic for an hour. yay
Time to pray to a power above and then go watch the game. Take care folks.
