Game Day – Dolphins @ Bills

header

(Header from CBS Sports)

The Bills kicked our ass at the first meeting in Miami earlier this season.   A lot has changed since then.  The Dolphins need to go to Buffalo with revenge on their minds and do some ass kicking of their own.  The Bills are on a 2 game losing streak and it needs to be 3 at the end of the game.  Both teams are 3-4 on the season but we still haven’t won a division game whereas the Bills are 1-1 in the division, and we all know where that one win came from.  It’s payback time!

We need to win this game or any wildcard thoughts are done.  We need to start fast and not let up, win the game instead of waiting for the Bills to lose it.

I like Campbell so far, we definitely needed some energy.  That’s only going to go so far as last week showed but I give him a break on that.   He took over mid season and the team responded with two solid wins.  The Cheaters are a tough team to beat with everything going well and it didn’t go well last week.

We need the run game to win if you ask me.  I think Tanny is a good QB, not a great QB, at least right now. There’s definitely worse out there.  He’s too inaccurate on the deep throws for us to be able win with just him throwing the ball.   He needs more time than the OL is giving him is at least part of the issue.  Sometimes he looks good and sometimes he doesn’t. Just like the rest of the team.  Except for Landry.  He is awesome.

Ok, my rambling is done.  Most of this is alcohol induced.

Let’s Go Dolphins!!!

    mike,

see this is why the offense should have just eaten up the clock.

  2. The Flying Pig says:

    We scored 17 points today
    That’s not good
    The defense is bad
    It’s nt a sliding scale
You don’t have to only blame one unit

But on offense we’ve been doing this 4 years now
Scoring around 20 points and collecting big yards
Making crucial mistakes at crucial times

    • Ken says:

The O moved the ball today. Some bad coaching cost us a score and hard to score when D is not getting off the field

      • olddolphan says:

ALSO, this Ireland/T-Baum O-Line gave Tanny NO CHANCE to succeed. Those who blame Tanny for scoring only 17 points today (while totally ignoring the horrid O-Line) are DEAD WRONG!!! Indeed, if this O-Line played as well as Tannehill did, we’d have scored many more points.
        ———-
Did all you guyz see the blatant hold on SUH on tyrod Taylor’s long bomb touchdown pass?? That play destroyed whatever chance the Dolphins may have had today. Mrs. OD was FURIOUS!!!

  3. Mike E. says:

    Rob

Did you say the Dolphins eat cock?

  4. finfanrob says:

    mike

they could try, but you know if they did they would even fuck that up and probably get it stuck in their ear

  5. finfanrob says:

wow, suh just sprinted off the field without shaking anyones hand. does he normally do that? if not i wonder if he is pissed?

  6. Mike E. says:

LMAO @ Rob! That made me chuckle!

  7. herdfan says:

Well so much for looking forward to weekends and football. Another year done. 😦

  8. olddolphan says:

This team can NOT possibly contend for the playoffs with one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL. –SHAME on all the personnel “gurus” who put this O-Line together!! You guyz can bitch all U want but the TRUTH IS we need to draft the 2 best available O-Linemen with our first 2 picks in the 2016 draft. AND T-BAUM is NOT the man for this job, GOT THAT, STEVE ROSS?? F/A may bring us help on the defensive side of the ball but we”ve GOT to have the O-Line studs!!
    —–
LIKED what I saw of JAY AJAYI!! Also like the way this team did NOT give up like they did the first Buffalo game. But we just DON’T have enough talent to contend, and I put that on Ireland and T-BAUM AND the guy who hired them or kept them on the payroll—Steve Ross!!
    —–
JUst playing for pride, NOW. I CERTAINLY WILL be there for the Dallas at Miami game. HOPE I get another chance to blast ROSS in person!!

    • Ken says:

OL actually did alright today. Gave up 2 sacks late in game in obvious passing downs but considering match up I thought OL did okay

      • olddolphan says:

I thought they were absolutely horrid on way too many key plays, Ken. NOT saying they didn’t have SOME good plays. But I AM saying they didn’t have ENOUGH good plays for us to win this game. I’d give the O-Line a “D” for today, which is slightly worse than I’d rate our total defensive effort today.

    • The Flying Pig says:

I would spend the whole draft on D
and just just start all over on offense with a new OC (and new HC)
I don;t think we are a few OL away from contending

      • olddolphan says:

THROW IN 2 defensive starters from the draft or F/A and I think WE ARE A FEW OL AWAY FROM CONTENDING.

  9. The Flying Pig says:

    Ken

moving the ball means nothing when you don’t score points

  10. finfanrob says:

lol, cam throwing a int giving the packers a shot.

son is officially never allowed to pick talent for the dolphins

  11. Ken says:

I agree with Pigs. Spend the whole draft on D. We need dbs and lbs badly

  12. finfanrob says:

    pigs

not disagreeing with you about the draft but that does f-ing suck. they spent 100mil to fix the d this year and now we are talking to spend the whole draft on it too

  13. ocalahowie says:

    I am very mad!
    AND TANNEHILL SUCKS!!!

    • steveccnv says:

The only players I have a problem with are the assholes that commit those block in the backs/holdings on punts and kickoffs. The rest of the mess is on the coaching staff or lack there of.

  14. steveccnv says:

Until the coaching staff puts the players in a situation to win we’ll never be better than 8-8/9-7. Brady and Montana certainly were put in a position to win, as was Big Ben.

The play at the end of the half is prime example, they just ran a play, WTF is that. You don’t go for it on 4th and 1 with 2 seconds to play in the half and just call a sandlot play, you have to have that play practiced during the week and ready in your bag of tricks or you kick the Fg.

And for God’s sake get rid of that FN useless pistol.

  15. Mike E. says:

Tannehill doesn’t suck, he’s just not great. Really, there isn’t one facet of this team that’s great, and that’s why we can’t overcome a deficit. We have a few people on offense that are talented, but I honestly don’t want to see Greg Jennings on the field anymore. I can’t remember the last time he actually caught a pass. Just put Parker on the field, if his foot falls off, fuck it, shit happens.

  16. finfanrob says:

    Mike E. says:
    November 8, 2015 at 4:44 pm

Tannehill doesn’t suck, he’s just not great.

yes, thanks. that is what i have been saying. there are only a few great qbs. stop trying to find a great qb and just build a great team around your average qb.

  17. The Flying Pig says:

all the penalties on special teams were ridiculous

you can;t snap balls for safeties, mismanage 2 minute drils, get penalties on every kick return and expect to be a competitive team

    • steveccnv says:

And get screwed on the calls. I mean how can you as a referee reverse the call when Watkins caught the ball on the sidelines, then not reverse the call on the fumble out of the endzone, and call yourself impartial?

      • steveccnv says:

Then not call offensive PI on Watkins long catch, and also not call holding on Suh on the same play?

  18. finfanrob says:

    The Flying Pig says:
    November 8, 2015 at 4:46 pm

    they brought in 1 player
They need players around that one player

yeah, but that 1 player was suppose to put the def over the top. before the season started most thought the def with that one player was going to be unstoppable

    • The Flying Pig says:

plenty of people questioned why we didn’t add LBs in the draft and questioned the talent of the DBs and LBs

and many experts said the Dolphins need to build around Suh now

My point was its our only chance to be comptetive in the near future
Suh is the best p-layer on our team
So we should build around that

  19. The Flying Pig says:

Tanny looks like a amateur in the pros occasionally
I don;t get why people defend him by pointing out that he is average and that other parts of the team are bad
that is not a defense of a guy you planned to make your franchise QB
He is not a player you build around – I think that is more along the point of the Tanny criticism
I would not call him bad a whole today
but I tend to think saying he “sucks” is justified
We needed him to play better than he has for this season to be successful
    and he hasn;t done that
and that matters in terms of our future

What does it matter that Tanny is avergage
we need him tio be better than that

  20. The Flying Pig says:

    Steve
    the rwefs were bad today
Its was probably the worst officiated game for us this year
but I mean the other stuff really frustrated me
I knew it as over when the ball was snapped over Tanny’s head for the safety
and I don;t know how that even happens twice at the pro level
    its embarrassing

    • olddolphan says:

IT’s obviously Tanny’s fault. Wilt Chamberlain never would have let that snap go over his head. Draft the first 7-foot QB we can find in 2016.

      • The Flying Pig says:

I don;t think the snap was soaring over his his head
it defiantely wasn;t last week agains the patriots
he just wasn;t ready for the snap
There is something wrong for that to happen twice in 2 weeks
        That should never happen

  21. ocalahowie says:

    Oh No
Other than Grimes getting abused by #14 and #5 the only other player accountable is our #17
    Not just today but forever…
He is not carrying this team at all
One nice play a game dont get it. Everything else is extra effort on the part of Miller.
Who the hell pulled the trigger on a 96mil contract.
Tannenbaum, or I hear Marino is really high on him
    WERE SCREWED!

    • steveccnv says:

Again put him in position to succeed or you’ll get from him what you’ve got. Put him in NE or Seattle to start his career and he’d already have an SB ring.

    • The Flying Pig says:

      If we didn;t sign him
and he was a free agent
I doubt he would have cost us 96 Mil in the offseason
no other team would build a team around him

      I know its hindsight
it seemed like a great idea to lock him up this summer and I favored it

      but we lost that gamble
I’m confident now he would not cost us 96M to keep him if he was a UFA

      • olddolphan says:

We DIDN’T lose that gamble. We lost the gamble to NOT draft an O-Lineman before the 4th round.

  22. steveccnv says:

We can’t get any respect, not that we deserve it, but come on man!

The Dolphins, down 19-7, ran a play from Buffalo’s 1 with 2 seconds left rather than kick a field goal. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore knocked down Tannehill’s pass intended for **Charlie** Sims a few steps into the end zone.

  23. wyoming85 says:

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 1m1 minute ago
Sammy Watkins was targeted eight times and caught all eight versus Brent Grimes. WR had a day.

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 18s18 seconds ago
No other Buffalo wide receiver caught a pass today.

  24. Ken says:

Tannehill is an NFL caliber QB. He is not elite but he is competent and played relatively well today. He is not the problem with this team. The options other than Tannehill are not going to be better they are much likely to be worse

  25. finfanrob says:

What does it matter that Tanny is avergage
we need him tio be better than that

but he isnt. so you arent going to get him great so build a team around him. seattle won a sb with an average qb. it can be done. i dont get people thinking the fins can just go out and get a great qb. there is only 2 or 3 of those in the league.

and i wasnt saying to not draft all d, i said it sucks we still have too

  26. wyoming85 says:

Dan aught to get the LB’s to go see if they can contain Karlos in the shower!

  27. olddolphan says:

STEVECCNV; Totally agree with you on Tanny analysis. Had O-Line and defense played as well as Tanny, we would have done MUCH better. Those blaming Tanny for team’s demise need to see Mike E for vision evaluatioin!!

  28. finfanrob says:

    The Flying Pig says:
    November 8, 2015 at 4:56 pm

plenty of people questioned why we didn’t add LBs in the draft and questioned the talent of the DBs and LBs

aahhh ok. i didnt say no one did. but plenty of people thought this def was going to be great this year.

    • The Flying Pig says:

plenty of people also thought Tanny would be great this year

and Miller would run for 1000 yards

the whole thing is off the rails now

  29. finfanrob says:

Dan aught to get the LB’s to go see if they can contain Karlos in the shower!

i am sure he would just score on them again.

  30. Ken says:

I don’t see Campbell being the HC next year. I would look at Hugh Jackson. Doing great job with Cincy’s O. Did alright with Raiders but was victim of senile Al Davis

  31. ocalahowie says:

    Dr. MikeE
    I need your assistance
    I’m not seeing so well.

  32. ocalahowie says:

Well that loss to the Titans might have sealed Paytons fate

  33. Tim Knight says:

This team lacks urgency in big spots. I’m at a loss and I think it’s time Ross blows it up and starts with someone who has connections to good personnel people and then a HC. Or we hire Mike Smith (the best HC candidate out there) and pair him up with personnel people he believes in.

    This sucks!

  34. olddolphan says:

Meanwhile, the ONLY Dolphins’ head coach in recent memory with a WINNING RECORD (TODD BOWLES) has his NY Jets in the hunt for a playoff spot. Aren’t you glad ROSS got rid of Bowles?

  35. finfanrob says:

    The Flying Pig says:
    November 8, 2015 at 5:51 pm

plenty of people also thought Tanny would be great this year

and Miller would run for 1000 yards

the whole thing is off the rails now

not sure what those two have to do with the def but if it feels good blaming them i am all for it too. like you said they whole thing if off the rails

    • The Flying Pig says:

      it means talk is cheap

it doesn’t matter what people said about their expectations of the defense (or Tanny or Miller)in terms of moving forward

Its no less relevent than you bringing up expectations of what the defense would be

I got news for you if ou think Suh was the only one who received a big contract this offseason – he’s not. We also gave Tanny a huge contract

and if we went the other direction in the draft and drafted on offense – it would not suck any less. We just spent 100M on offense too

  36. finfanrob says:

Aren’t you glad ROSS got rid of Bowles?

really? so ross was suppose to keep an interim asst coach taking over mid season of a horrible team. if he did, you would have been happy with that? i get your hatred of ross but be above the cheap shots

  37. ocalahowie says:

Like I said a month ago
Just wait till Campbell takes over in Cleveland
and We’ll still be looking at 6-10

  38. bat says:

I am finally ready to close the door on the Tannehill era. I have always supported him and thought he had a legitamate chance to be a franchise QB. Now after three plus years I have come to understand that Tannehill is a slightly below average to average QB. He has horrible pocket awareness, reckless ball security, poor field vision that leaves yards on the field and erratic accuracy beyond 10 yards. He lacks the touch to deliver an effective fade pass or back shoulder throw and has the overall football IQ of a mollusk with a learning disability. He is a WR trying his best to play QB. That being said, this team is rife with useless garbage and Tannehill is not the only one to blame. Tannehill might be able to win if surrounded with superior talent, but he will never make those around him better. He stumbles in almost every big moment. The problems plagueing Tannehill are not going to magically disappear and Miami will not suddenly acquire the type of talent necessary for a flawed QB to thrive. Time to move on…… Oh…and WE SUCK!!!!!!!

  39. finfanrob says:

    The Flying Pig says:
    November 8, 2015 at 6:18 pm

    it means talk is cheap

????? is there something else we should be doing.

    piggy,

again, you are trying to turn this into me defending tanny. i guess all i have is cheap words but i have said over and over he is part of the problem too.

i only said from the start, it sucks that they should still use their whole draft on defense. most thought the def was going to be the foundation not another weakness.

    • The Flying Pig says:

I’m not trying to turn it into you defending Tanny

You are just ignoring the obvious that he was paid 100M too

I was speaking about the 2016 draft and where to spend it
if you spend picks on offense – its the same situation

“we just spent 100M on offense and now we have to draft players on offense – that sucks too”….Same thing isn’t it?

Our franchise is expected to be built on 2 players
There is no way you spend that money without thinking that way

To me the in terms of the future it lies with Suh.
I really think that is what its down to now – which direction can we go from here to get better

and IMO the answer is defense and Suh
b/c Tanny is not a franchise kind of player IMO
Ypu can put a HOF OL in front of him and I don;t think he is much better than what he is right now (albeit I think with experience he still might get better but that is not a personnel issue)

It sucks either way whether it offense or defense

You can pick your poison on this one
Your initial response should not be exclusive to just defense – that is my point at the end of the day

  40. ocalahowie says:

    Bat
I am first in line at MikeE’s eye clinic

  41. ocalahowie says:

For thirty years losing was fun
This is not very fun anymore!

  42. finfanrob says:

“we just spent 100M on offense and now we have to draft players on offense – that sucks too”….Same thing isn’t it?

yes it is. the only difference is the d was suppose to be the backbone of the team and it isnt. and yeah tanny was suppose to take another step forward this year and he didnt too. they all fucking suck and out of sheer gratitude they should give me their paychecks. well not tanny he can keep his just give me lauren

  43. Randy says:

Tough place to win, so I wasn’t anticipating a win. But, we got our asses kicked…again. I’m just fucking sick and tired of seeing this time and time again. All the bullshit and talk means nothing. This team is still not competing every week….and now we know it wasn’t Philbin.
    ***
I thought the OL had a pretty solid day, actually. 3 or 4 bad plays by a 5 man unit doesn’t make for a horrible day. They held up pretty well given the situation. As if it even matters though. A loss is a fucking loss. I’m tired of fighting over who’s damn fault it was.

  44. finfanrob says:

manning is 3 yards from breaking brett int farve yardage record.

  45. ocalahowie says:

    Its Tannehill’s fault

  46. finfanrob says:

well it looks like Hillary Clinton is going to be found innocent in this email scandal. the feds have release proof that it was in fact tannys fault

  48. ocalahowie says:

    Oh crap
I didnt see that OT up close till just now.
That was Fasano clear across the endzone for the game winner

  49. bat says:

    ***************

    AWESOME post!

  52. Mike E. says:

I don’t have any answers. I doubt Campbell is really qualified to be any more than an assistant, so I’m thinking we need a new Head Coach, and a new staff. As to whether Hickenbaum should remain, I’m not sure about either. It just seems like we’re so inferior against any competitive team.

    • Ken says:

I think Campbell can be a good HC someday but he is not ready yet. The question is how much time will it take and do we give him that time?

  53. Ken says:

I saw Tim talking about Mike Smith as a HC candidate. I am not a fan of that possibility. He a modicum of regular season success in Atlanta but was horrible in playoffs

  54. Ken says:

This is actually about what I expected with a rookie interim HC. We had a couple of good games with him but reality was going to set that this is a team in trouble and we are headed for a 6-10 season

  55. The Flying Pig says:

I think Campbell is just inexperienced and it shows occassionally

I don;t know down the line if he will be a HC

    • Brian in NY says:

That series to end the first half was about as poorly time managed as I’ve ever seen. I don’t even feel like wasting my time listing why.

  56. Brian in NY says:

I’m glad I recorded the game. I just got done watching it. This way I saved myself about 45 minutes in commercial time.

  57. Randy says:

There’s no way anybody can evaluate Campbell as a HC candidate from 3 weeks. Fans don’t even see 90 % of what he’s doing. No enough data.

    • Brian in NY says:

      Randy,
He’s inexperienced. He’s only had experience as a TE’s coach, and that for only about 4 years. His clock management at the end of the first half made Philbin look like a genius.

  58. Brian in NY says:

The Dolphins are 0-4 and have been outscore 137-52 in games against the AFC East this season. We are close guys, we are close.

    • Try Pod says:

If we can only play out of division, we just might have a chance!

Herd- my respect for one of the best lines I heard in a long time 👍

  59. bat says:

Ross needs to finally do a proper demolition of this ill fated team that is consumed by the poison of failure and the weakness of will that breeds apathy. Fire everyone. Dispose of at least half the current roster. Make a fresh start with those not tainted with the stain of consistent mediocrity. Only with a complete and vicious purge can we ever hope to emerge from the noxious cloud of losing and disgrace.

    • Try Pod says:

Probably a solid plan- and with the hole we are in because of suh and Tanne, we might not have a better alternative

      • Brian in NY says:

Yes, but we are are locked into so much guaranteed money next season we can;t even do that because the cap hit would be so severe we wouldn’t even be able to fill the roster.

  60. Brian in NY says:

Random thought- we fucking SUCK on defense. We are getting absolutely gashed on the ground this season.

  61. Brian in NY says:

And Brent Grimes seems to be on a serious decline this season.

  62. bat says:

I’m certain that there were 6 year olds spilling their sippy cups as they shouted excitedly for the Fins to call a TO while our HC OC and QB stared blankly with their thumbs planted firmly in their asses.

    • Brian in NY says:

It was unreal. Let’s let the clock tick down , throw an incomplete pass with 2 seconds left and THEN call time out!

  63. bat says:

Brian …. You see not being able to fill the roster as a negative?

  64. bat says:

And there was not the slightest bit of urgency from our carefree QB as the clock melted away. Just another play …no hurry ..Dum de dum de dum dum……..

  65. Brian in NY says:

    Bat,
Nope. Is Tannehill allowed to call timeouts in the last two minutes of a half, or only before that?

lol, but fans can evaluate general managers, owners and players cause fans know so much of what they are doing.

    • steveccnv says:

Rob, I agree. I’ve seen enough of Campbell. As a head coach you need to be able to rally the troops, which he’s been able to do, and have a vision and plan, which he hasn’t done. He seems to be in over his head when things don’t go right from the start.

  68. finfanrob says:

    bat,

he just figured why bother. the d was going to give up 30+ points and he knew there was no way him or the offense could match that.

  69. bat says:

Brian …. pretty sure anyone on the field can call a TO at that point ….OK now I’m really out….

  70. Brian in NY says:

    Rob,
All of us are armchair QB’s/coaches, but I swear to God I could have managed the clock better at the end of the first half than Tannehill/Campbell.

    • steveccnv says:

That was all on Campbell, and he doesn’t have a clue how to manage the clock. RT needs to take it upon himself to call that TO, even if Campbell gets pissed, fuck him he aint going to be back next yr.

Get rid if him. Hopefully Parker can get and stay on field. does appear we need a new Offensive Philosophy along with an OC/ HC and most of an oline. Fox was putrid roday. Def we need a complete revamp outside of Jones and Suh. Lets get Lippett and some if the other pups in and see what we have now. Wake will be a shell if he can even make it back. OV may not be worth what it will take to resign even if we want to. TE’s are okay, nothing special We will not have anything better at Qb next year. We can only hope this was a regressed season dor RT and that he can get back moving up next year. We may want/need to draft a Qb earlier than liked next year in case this is as good as it gets. The iwner aint going anywhere Everything else is up for repair.

i am not bashing campbell. the guy got put into a position way above his pay grade, given a semi retarded offensive coordinator and a pretty average team. but the guy isnt going to be the next head coach unless ross is as dumb as a few on here think.

i just wanted philbin out, he was taking this team no where. i got my wish, i am not going to get greedy and ask for a te’s coach to make them winners

No one ever thought Campbell was a head coach, not even him. His pay grade has nothing to do with it, he’s in over his head. I just wish the NFL would play fair, the calls today and every week for some team are horrible. College is no different, but that’s another story.

Football has absolutely sucked for several yrs now, all I have to look forward to is someone knocking the cheats and Alabama off, I can’t even root for the teams I like outside of the Fins.

Every once in a while I go look at the NHL Standings, what a fuckin’ joke that league is, I mean gimme an FN break with the point for an OT loss. So let me get this straight, if you lose in OT you still get a point, but if you win you still get 2 pts just like you do if you win in regulation. Does anyone else see the error in logic here? If you’re going to give the OT loser 1 pt and the winner 2 pts equaling 3 pts, you have to give the winner in regulation 3 pts.

no shit. that is what i meant about his pay grade. that he is in way over his head, not his actual pay.

    • steveccnv says:

LOL Rob, his pay grade is his pay. For example when working for the government they have a pay grade + step to determine your pay. So a grade of 35 step 5 is the same as a grade 34 step 6…

  78. steveccnv says:

Goodell is a joke too, with his integrity BS, there hasn’t been integrity in professional sports of any kind in decades.

  79. steveccnv says:

I have a problem with some of the calls they make in the NFL, for example Misi blows up McCoy, then gets held by the Olineman, as he’s passing the QB, he does all he can by sticking his arm out to get a piece of the QB and grabs his helmet for a facemask call. When getting pushing away from the QB they should keep the flag in their pocket on the facemask.

Other things that happen that I can’t stand are Olineman being able to push a pass rusher after being beat, why isn’t that holding?

The grabbing and holding inside that they allow the Oline to do is fine, but it should stop there, the WRs shouldn’t be able to hold onto DBs the way they do, it just leaves the holding up to judgement which never seems to favor us.

KINDA confused that someone thinks criticizing Ross for letting Bowles go was a “cheap shot.”–Guess my time in the army did NOT earn me the right to criticize, eh?? Well sometimes the truth hurts, especially if you like to kiss Ross’s ass!! But the TRUTH IS Ross let Bowles go so he could hire Jeff Fisher. But when Fisher found out he’d be taking orders from that blundering idiot Ireland, he bolted for the Rams’ job. And Ross was left with either hiring Clueless Joe or re-opening the application process for head coach of the Dolphins. Ross, in his infinite wisdom, chose Clueless Joe, who had NEVER called plays and who had never been a head coach ANYWHERE!!
    ———————-
NOW that Bowles has the Jets in the hunt for a playoff spot, I think a casse can be made that Ross SHOULD NOT have run-off Bowles after he went 2-1 in Miami and applied for the job full time. Either giving the job to Bowles OR reopening the application process for head coach would have been preferable to giving it to “Clueless Joe!” AND I certainly DON’T THINK criticizing Ross on this issue amounts to a c”cheap shot” at all. THIS MESS OF A FRANCHISE HAS ROSS’s fingerprints all over it. AND YES, Ross has spent hundrfeds of millions of dollars on this franchise during the last several years. But has he spent his money WISELY?? – – I would argue he has NOT!! I would argue that this franchise has suffered, not prospered, during the reign of Mr. New York real estate tycoon. And to those of you who say “ROSS WILL NEVER SELL THE TEAM,” I would respond “Father time makes sellers of all of us!” May Ross’s sale of the Dolphins be SOONER rather than LATER!
