Week 11 and we are 4-5. Certainly not what most of us were expecting. 7 games left. How many of those can we win? How many wins will it take to maybe sneak into the playoffs? How much help will we need? I don’t think the schedule looks all that bad given how other teams are playing. On the flip side, most teams look at us the same way….beatable.
The last home game was against another team from Texas. The game against Houston was the best I’ve seen then play and was more like how I thought we would be this year. We need the same kind of game today. They can do it.

There are a couple of teams I hate that aren’t our rivals-the Cowboys are one of them. There is something about them that i can’t stand. Maybe it’s their arrogance, maybe it’s the fact that they still consider themselves America’s team, maybe it’s the fact that they always seem to get a pot of publicity even when they suck, maybe it’s the fact that Romo wears those stupid hats in press conferences that look good on most people, but not him. Whatever the case, let’s go Dolphins!
Maybe it’s because when you were little you wanted to grow up to be a cowboy, but they rebuffed you.

JS ….doing ok, had another problem surface, nothing to do with the heart. Thank goodness! That will be dealt with in January. When you get older things happen. Looks like I haven’t missed too much the way the Phins have been playing. Have you been ok yourself?
Been good. Hope you have learned to enjoy the little things and family that matters most. Last night, I enjoyed my granddaughters second school play. Her first play I had to take her to get her hair done and both our nails done. She suggested red for me and blue for her. This time, I didn’t have to have my nails done.
Our first 2 are well past the play stage but we have a 7- year- old entering that group and the baby is 4 months old. My last 2 sons were late getting with the baby program. I’m sure we will have to watch these last 2 do their thing in due course. Hell, you are a good grandpa to have your nails painted. I’m not sure I would have that done.

Yeah — not raining where I am but looks to be one of those rare rain days in South Florida. This is more than just tropical burst/thunderstorm stuff.

It was all rainy when we beat the Texans the last home game. Dallas plays in that dome. I think we have the edge as far as weather is concerned.
It only rained for about 20 minutes. Rain is the great equalizer- no one has an advantage IMO.

if it rains hard like it just started to again out west, the fins can load the box with 8-9 defensive players since passing will be hard to do. Tanny will take his snaps under center also.
