OMG! The Draft is Here!!

2016 NFL Draft

We’ve talked about it for a long time, in fact, some of us started talking about it before we drafted last year, in the 2015 NFL draft.  It never stops.  The NFL Draft, the place where dreams are either realized, or crushed.  There is always hope, always, because where else can you bring in new, young talent, and the potential to bring in 8 or more new faces to your team in one weekend.  This only happens with the NFL, and then after the draft, even more excitement is generated by the signing of players who went undrafted.  Sometimes, a player who was expected to be a mid round pick falls completely off the draft board, or in last year’s case, a possible top 10 pick, like La’el Collins, who due to bizarre circumstances with a murder case he had no part in yet was being questioned by police, had all 32 teams wipe him right off their draft boards.

Tomorrow will begin the madness that is the 2016 NFL Draft.  The Miami Dolphins currently hold 8 picks, starting from the #13 pick, #42, #73, #107, #147, #186, #227, and finally #231.  There is no guarantee that the Dolphins will use all those picks to get 8 players, they may trade up early in the 1st RD and use 2 or 3 picks to accomplish that.  They may trade back later in the into the 1st RD, and gain a couple of picks.  There are so many angles from which to look at either strategy, and a case can be made for both, without either of them being necessarily wrong or right.  For instance, supposedly, this draft plateaus from approximately pick #15 to pick #50, meaning the talent at #50 is nearly equal to the talent at #15.  We pick at #13, right around that imaginary line, so would trading back to pick up a couple of extra players in that range be smart?  Sure.  If all the supposed blue chippers are in the top 10, does it not make sense to trade up and get a superior talent and a player with a greater chance of making a big impact on our team right now?  Sure.

Whatever we do tomorrow, partly because of past failures, such as the Dion Jordan trade up to #3 in 2013, or just because of personal preferences, some of us will be angry at some of the selections we make, and yet others will be ecstatic.  That’s how it is.  I have to give all you guys/girls lots of credit for your dedication to the sport, and especially the entire draft process.  I know many of you tirelessly watch college football to find potential for the Miami Dolphins, and others, like myself, who don’t watch college ball, scour as many scouting reports, watch highlight reels, record and watch the entire week of Senior Bowl practices and the game itself, the same with the NFL combine.  The funny thing is, even the best of the best here, who really put in max effort, most likely don’t put in a fraction of the time our scouting staff put in, and our coaches and our GM put in.  Granted, that’s their job, we do it for (fun?).  Still, we should all probably just chill out with the negative feelings (I know I will have them), because these guys really did put in the effort to make the team better, and hopefully, it actually works.

I’m going to give you my picks for each round, without trade ups or trade downs, because those are just too hard to predict, it requires a lot of cooperation and desire from another team or two, and therefore, I’ll just do it straight up.  This draft is not who I want for our team, it’s how I expect it to happen.

RD 1 – Pick #13  RB Ohio State  – Ezekiel Elliott

First of all, let’s put that myth that if he’s elite, he’ll be gone by pick #10 nonsense, and if he’s not, he’ll be there.  Great NFL players are chosen all over the place, and these selections are made by a few parameters, GRADE, NEED (at a certain position) and VALUE.  Every team will have different metrics on those, and many teams obviously have different needs for both position, and the type of players they want to fill those positions.  For example, while Vernon Hargreaves may  be rated very high on most boards, a team that prefers bigger CB’s may not have him on their board early at all.  So back to Elliott.  He would most definitely be our best RB if he were to join our team.

Much has been made of Adam Gase’s use of a “running back by committee”.  I think it’s only fair to look at each situation, and why that may have been.  In Denver 2013,  first off, Gase had Peyton Manning., who threw the ball 659 times for nearly 5500 yards.  The Broncos drafted Montee Ball, and added him to a stable with Knowshown Moreno, Ronnie Hillman, and and CJ Anderson.  Moreno carried the ball 241 times, more than double the carries Montee Ball got at 120 carries. Is that really a RB by committee?  In 2014, again, Manning put up astronomical numbers, 597 pass attempts, over 4700 yards.  With Knowshown Moreno out of the picture, and Montee ball fat and out of shape, and fumbling often, Gase had little choice to try and find the hot hand.  CJ Anderson rushed 179 times, for 849 yards, and Ronnie Hillman 106 times, for 434.  Keep in mind, Ronnie Hillman was the better 3rd down back, and most of his action was on 3rd down, but again, the RB by committee aspect doesn’t necessarily show up, because the talent just simply wasn’t there to earn the bulk of the carries.

In Chicago, 2015, Adam Gase had 30 YO Matt Forte,  rookie Jeremy Langford, and 2nd YR RB Ka’Deem Carey.  Just for some background, Forte has never really been a bellcow RB, the most carries he had in his career was his rookie season when had a high of 316 carries.  He never broke 300 again, and has been slowly diminishing in carries the last few years, from 289 in ’13, to 266 in ’14, and last year 218.  Langford carried 148 times, and  Carey 43.  Clearly, Forte was his best guy, but at 30 YO, he didn’t overwork him, and for the most part, Chicago’s offense was a disappointment, despite Jay Cutler playing at his most efficient, with 21 TD’s and only 11 INT’s.  They sorely missed Brandon Marshall last season, and when Alshon Jeffery got hurt, that was it for this offense.

My point is, I don’t believe that Gase has a strategy to use his running backs nearly equally.  I think he had to in Denver, out of necessity, and in Chicago, he didn’t want to burn out his 30 year old star in Matt Forte.  Gase did say he wants a stable of RB’s, and I think that’s the responsible thing to do, considering what can happen if there’s a severe drop off in talent from your starter to your reserves.  make no mistake, if we draft Ezekiel Elliott, he will clearly be our best RB, and we will use him as such.   He will make a huge impact in our offense.

RD 2 – Pick #42  CB Houston – William Jackson III

We have a definite need at CB, no question about it, and we get the best we can in the 2nd RD.  Jackson gives another 6 foot CB who can play both press and zone coverage.  A good fit for what we’re looking for, Jackson will certainly be given every opportunity to start opposite Byron Maxwell.

RD 3 – Pick #73  OG Stanford – Joshua Garnett

As much as we need a CB, we need to shore up the interior OL.  We get the powerful OG Garnett from Stanford.  Garnett also will be given every opportunity to start somewhere on the OL, most likely LG, to compete with vet Jermon Bushrod.  That will leave a battle royale at RG, with Billy Turner, Jamil Douglas,  and Kraig Urbik .

RD 4  – Pick #107  OLB Akron –  Jatavis Brown

Excellent athletic player, with wheels (4.47 40).  Driven, team oriented player, lunch pail type of guy.  A little undersized at 5’11” 227, but a great guy to bring into the mix at OLB.

RD 5 – Pick #147   S Miami –  Deon Bush

Bush is a physical player who likes to hit, and when he does, forces fumbles.  Bush forced 5 fumbles in 2014.  He can also go up and get the ball with his 39 1/2″vertical.  Bush has only 4 INT’s in 4 years, along with 13 passes defensed.  Could be a good player down the line.

RD 6 – Pick #186  CB Virginia – Maurice Canady

Canady brings another CB with size to the team.  Not a physical player, but a player with talent that perhaps VJ can bring out.

RD 7 – Pick #227  DE Baylor  –  Shawn Oakman

Oakman is probably worth a flier in the 7th RD.  he could easily end up off the team before the season, but maybe, the light goes on, and he becomes a player.  I’d take tht chance this late in the game.

RD 7 – Pick #231   WR  Illinois – Geronimo Allison

OK, so I really just want to scream Genonimo!!!!!!  Do I take a chance and try to sign him after the draft?  No way!!!

Good write up, Mike. But why did you say “As much as we need a CB, we need to shore up the interior OL.” when you just took a corner in the 2nd rd before the guard? LOL

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Well, we don’t have any bodies at CB right now, so that’s the more important need.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Maxwell, Taylor (I know he doesn’t count), McCain, Lippett, Ekpre-Olomu (maybe – medical), Chekwa and Patmon.

Now I know you could say there are a bunch here that leave a lot to be desired and/or have questions about their status, but they are on the team for a reason. So if you add a prospect like Jackson in the 2nd rd you now have 8 corners in the mix.

I do think McCain and Lippett can play. How high their upsides are is to be determined. Taylor needs to rebound from a poor season last year and get back to when he flashed potential his first two seasons. I could see us adding a corner mid or late rounds and a few UDFAs as well. Maybe a vet after the draft when some cuts are made.

As a comparison to them coming out of college.

Wake coming out of college was 6’3 240, not overly strong upper body wise, only got 20 reps on the BP.

Spence is 6’2 250, 25 reps. They had pretty similar broad jump scores so the off the line explosiveness and instant acceleration would be pretty similar.

Ian Seau is also 6’2 250. 22 reps of 225, and a little less on the broad jump. From the video i watched of him he has pretty great technique too i think it helps him with not having the same level or explosiveness off the snap but he was effective in college and stood out pretty good in the film study.

I think guard and CB are the most important positions to get a starter in the draft. I don’t have much confidence in players we currently have in as starters in those positions.

    • D's avatar D says:

I agree, i really hope Hargreaves makes it to us, i think thats a game changer for us at CB and after that i might go OG depending on the prospect. Ryan Kelly, Vadal Alexander, Garnett (even though in the back of my mind will be Johnny Lunchtray), Tretola, id be happy to leave the draft with any of those guys, and there are others i think would also start in place of what we have.

Just get the draft done already so I can actually have something to complain about.

  7. I just think it’s strange so many are talking about guys like Spence and Seau and the one guy that’s not in the conversation is Correa. He’s a complete package. Edge rusher. Can play the run. Can cover. These other guys are edge rushers at this time and none of them are complete DE prospects. Projects. Of course, I’d rather Correa as an OLB anyway.

  8. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I’m not a fan of Oakman. He’s kind of too tall and does not move well.

  9. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Tim

I think CB is one spot where a draft pick will be given every chance to start, whereas at other positions, it will be a bit tougher. I think OG is another.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Agreed, but you took that guy in the 2nd rd. Then Taylor, McCain and Lippett will be the other guys first in the mix.

Like Gase said, everyone starts with a clean slate with him. Whatever you did in the past doesn’t matter, what you show me now is all that matters.

    • I think if a guy has a shot to start anywhere, linebacker is as good as any because there’s no competition at the linebacker position. You’ve got Alonso, Misi and Jenkins and then a whole group of guys behind them that aren’t much in the way of competition. If they don’t get this group better talent in camp it’s going to be another long season

      • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Lou, admittedly, i feel like you do, but I’m not convinced the staff feels that way.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

There is competition at LB with Hewitt and Vigil and don’t be surprised if Hewitt wins a starting job and plays well. Hull is also a great competitor and athletic, but he’s not very big and has had durability issues. I expect us to draft a LB for sure and will likely bring in a few more UDFAs as well as a vet after cuts.

      • I am. The team has made it know they weren’t happy with the play of ANY of the linebackers this past season. They know it’s a major weak spot on the defense.

      • Tim, I like to find a diamond in the rough as much as the next guy but a bunch of udfa’s is hardly competition for the linebackers. you bring in Jack, Floyd, Correa, Lee, Brown and those other guys have a tough time making the roster.

  10. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

I think we can wait till the 4th round for a LB, there’s a decent depth there between the ILB/OLB.

Looking at the 2016 draft class talent, I see the first three rounds as mandatory for DE, CB, OG/OT.

Maybe if a certain coveted LB is sitting there earlier & they have a like on a 4th rd prospect at OG/OT, then I could be ok with that too.

Remember, Douglas is bound to get better in his 2nd year, same with Turner, who only played a full season last year, kinda like a rookie year for him. Plus we added Bushrod, Urbik, & Young, and Albert, Pouncey, & James are all VERY healthy now.

  11. markeyh's avatar markeyh says:

One day away and we will see what this new regime will do. This is an important draft (not that they all aren’t) because this will be their first opportunity to put their stamp on the future of this team and hopefully add more talent and depth to this team.

    Go Miami!!!

  12. BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

“*Tony Lippett said he was pleased he’s being given the opportunity to win a starting cornerback job opposite Byron Maxwell. But getting snaps with the starters has its drawbacks as we saw when receiver DeVante Parker took Lippett deep on a nine route. QB Ryan Tannehill placed the ball perfectly to Parker, yes, in stride. Touchdown.”

    • BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

      Ouch!

“*The Miami offensive line is shuffling in Kraig Urbik, Billy Turner, and Dallas Thomas at guard.”

  13. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Jamar Taylor who hasn’t shown he can be a starter, Lippett, who intrigues me, but not sure if he’s ready, and McCain who is best suited as a nickle corner

Nice job, Mike. I like Zeke, think he might be special enough to warrant a first round pick if he drops to us. I’d be good with Jack or Zeke in the first if they are there. Otherwise, go with the best CB on the board.

Love, love, love Booker in the third round if he’s there. Not sure people realize how good his hands are. Elite vision, and he has more power than he gets credit for. One of those backs that never goes down with first contact. I’d be pumped if we get him.

And since I don’t know squat about anyone other than Utah and PAC12 guys, my sleeper Utah guy this year is Gionni Paul. He probably won’t get drafted. Horrible combine numbers, but the guy just makes plays. Pretty certain he would make our roster as an UDFA and could start. Norris, their other ILB is solid and would be worth a late round pick.

    ———————————————
I like him but i see him more like a OLB, more so than the others because of his coverage skills.

  19. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Lou, I said we will draft a LB, why do you keep leaving that out? We don’t need 3-4 LBs, only two play 70% of the time and we have some good LBs who can do that. Sheppard at MLB was a big issue last year because he’s not that good. Jenkins was hobbled most of the season. Misi is Misi as we all know, and Hewitt and Vigil showed some promise. You add an Alonso, get Jenkins healthy, then have a rookie push all the other guys we can easily be much better at the position. I would expect Hewitt and Vigil to improve, not get worse. It’s not the same situation at LB this year that it was last year.

  20. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

If you guys don’t believe in the development of young players why even bother with the draft? Where do you think they come from? Yet somehow the current draft will produce more realistic potential. LOL

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Keep in mind those choices were for a different HC. That does factor in here.

    • D's avatar D says:

I think Lou just likes taking a guy you arent gambling on just to make the team at a position of need. I dont care where they come from or how we get them, developing a player is essential to a healthy team.

You do have to also consider though that the contracts for UDFA’s is shorter than standard draft pick and the people that fall through the draft rounds was indeed considered by all teams not to have the potential of the others or not as good a fit as others, or potentially too much risk than the others. Depending on UDFA to fill a need position is a bad idea.

It also depends heavily on the level of need you feel there is at the position. For me LB we have to land one that we are pretty confident in in this draft, the might not have to have day 1 starter stamped on them but there needs to be sooner than later starter kind of evaluation.

I think we can wait till the 4th round for a LB, there’s a decent depth there between the ILB/OLB.
As I said, groom someone behind Alonso and/or Jenkins, unless a stud falls to us earlier.

Looking at the 2016 draft class talent, I see the first three rounds as mandatory for DE, CB, OG/OT.

Maybe if a certain coveted LB is sitting there earlier & they have a like on a 4th rd prospect at OG/OT, then I could be ok with that too.
I see the OL & LB spots as interchangeable in a way. Both units have young developing talent.

Remember in today’s NFL college OL take a little time to develop into the pro game.
So Douglas is bound to get better in his 2nd year, same with Turner, who only played a full season last year, kinda like a rookie year for him. Plus we added Bushrod, Urbik, & Young, and Albert, Pouncey, & James are all VERY healthy now.

    • BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

I would say priority is CB. OG, RB then DE.
My issue is that we now have spent 3 years going with our oline is young and will get better and they haven’t. Its a huge gamble to go into the season with the bunch we have penciled in as starters. Thomas should never see the field again IMO. He’s horrible and he’s had enough time to get better. Turner and douglas are average at best.

Mets are hitting HR’s in bunches. Pitching is solid daily, but Granderson, who went 1-25 in the first 8 games, and the Mets as a team had no HR’s, now have smacked 27 in 11 games. That’s going to have to quiet down some, so they will need to lean on their pitching again when it does. I also see a big improvement on the defense up the middle. Cabrera and Walker are an upgrade defensively over Tejada/Flores and Murphy. Cabrera is better than I expected.

Now everything is everyone’s business. I personally don’t care. It’s not football season.

  52. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

    This is almost “D” esque

    2-QB
    1-RB?
    2-0T
    2-DB
    3-DE
    2-OLB
Are supposed to goin the first 12

    That will leave
    13 *Laquon Treadwell WR
    14 Sheldon Rankins DT
    15 Reggie Ragland ILB
    16 *Jack Conklin OT
    17 *A’Shawn Robinson DT
    18 *Leonard Floyd OLB
    19 William Jackson III CB

Personally and historically you can add another OT and DE and remove the RB from the top 12

    So that drops
11 *Darron Lee OLB or 10 *Vernon Hargreaves III CB
    8 *Ezekiel Elliott RB

    and removes
    16 *Jack Conklin OT
    18 *Leonard Floyd OLB

Which would move up the RB or and OLB or CB to 13

    So if it’s Lee
    I take Ragland!

If it’s Hargreaves He’s the Pick!

Of course that just my thought process?

  56. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Mike E, evaluating your MOCK with my own mockings. 🙂

I really like the talent of Zeke, but it largely depends on what the talent is seen in Ajayi, do they feel he can also be a star RB in Miami? Does he just need a compliment back or is he just compliment back worthy?
Maybe we can be just as happy & productive with Collins, Prosise, Drake, Parkins, later.

I really like the WJ3 pick @ CB, especially if he’s there @ #42 our 2nd pick. He & Burns scream made for the Phins new D….IMO.

Garnett, meh, him or a couple others I like are within a round or 2 of each other. Guys like Tretola, Alexander, Seumalo, Glasgow, & Odhiambo(whom the Phins brought in for a visit & seem to really like)

Jatavis Brown, no way in the 4th. Many other LB’s I see in that area of the draft that could be potentially better size & better players against better competition.
You’ve seen me mention BJ Goodson here. If you want smallish, I like Elandon Roberts here more. Even a guy like Scooby, Blake Martinez, & Vigil seem better suited to me than Jatavis Brown this early…IMHO.

Deon Bush, meh, I like him, but he doesn’t excite me. I also feel he can be had after the 5th rd. Rather go with KJ Dillon, Tyvis Powell, Deiondre Hall or Killebrew if available here.

Maurice Canady, great pick up here in the 6th. smart to dbl down on CB. I love his potential & size we are now seeking for press cvg. He’s got really good quickness & is a ballhawk creating TO’s. He’s a steal here!

Oakman, nooo. He’s another cancer & doesn’t fit scheme well…IMO. I rather take a chance on a guy like Alex McCallister here & hold a gun to his head at the buffet lines. Ian Seau, Dadi Nicolas, & Stephan Weatherly comes to mind here too.

GERONIMO! I’ve mentioned this kid more than once. I like him a lot as a later round replacement for Matthews. I feel strongly about Cody Core for that role as well. He was the bigger faster guy opposite star Treadwell @ Ole Miss. In fact, somebody will get a steal with Core in the 6th or 7th round…IMO.

Well, there ya have it. Thanks for posting your mock. Not bad!

    Go Phins!

    Good Mock Mike
    and good blog

I don’t think William Jackson will last until 42
I think he might go pretty early like top 20 early

other than that, I think its fairly realistic and addresses a of needs

I like the Garnett pick in the 3rd
but something is wrong with the spin of the Earth if my favorite pick is OL

IMO Garnett would be an instant starter, unless one out young guys squarely beat him out in camp – which would not be a bad thing for us

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

I’m not so sure. More & more we see where the college game isn’t preparing offensive linemen for a smooth transition into the NFL. Seems many take a year or two to really get their feet under them, most literally is a lot of cases.

well…except for a certain big marshamallow

  60. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

As far as Oakman is concerned I think he might be off a lot of draft boards

his arrest was sexual assault and I don’t know the details of that
but it might be easy for an accusation with merit to be made against an athlete

but the bigger deal to me is the evidence of domestic violence
You can read about it here
    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/new-shawn-oakman-abuse-allegations-from-2013/ar-BBseSNt

That is enough for me NOT to draft him at all even in the 7th

I actually liked Oakman a lot as a prospect
I did the wedge report on him almost immediately after the draft last year
More than anything he is an absurd physical specimen

but domestic violence – forget it IMO
    what a piece of shit

Also, I think Tim is right about him
He’s really not a very good football player
    Last year he was exciting
and if he came out he may have been drafted in the first couple of days
but his 2015 season at Baylor really exposed a guy with a weak skillset

So not only is he a wife beating piece of crap
He has a pretty shitty skillset

I think the thought of taking him late is worth exploring if we are just talking about an unfinished product as a football player

but you factor is behavior that is not something I want associates with a team I root for – and I would just rather pass

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Domestic abuse is one thing, as far as just being a prospect, not only is he not a good football player but he doesn’t move well either, he’s not an exceptional athlete, he just looks like one at his size.

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Yeah I guess that is a better way to phrase it

He’s just kind of a big guy
but its not the Mr Universe contest…lol

At Baylor in 2015 he was barely noticeable when I watched them
and I was excited to watch them last season to watch him play

it didn’t pan out well very well

I am really accept that I wasted the RANCOR alien weapon on Oakman

What is your honest opinion on the draft I put up? Don’t pull any punches
    ———————————————–
Honestly Mike its a pretty good draft.

    The Good:
Canaday is a good CB prospect, fits the larger CB mold, could be a S prospect for us so he gives us some position flexibility. Garnett and Brown are both great prospects, and you got them in rounds where they would be considered value picks as well. Most likley that will be two starters for us. WJ3 to me is the second best CB prospect for us outside of VJ3, and i am assuming that in your draft VJ3 was gone. Geart pick and another starter.

    The Meh:
Im not a fan of Deion Bush, he seems decent but if Killebrew or Davis were available, id rather have them. Its not a bad selectio, i just dont think bush is as strong a prospect. Were the other two gone already, id be on board with this pick. Elliott also is a preference thing for me. Im not as high on him as a lot here, i dont really think he is a game changer st the position for us. If, however VH3 is gone, he might be a BPA pick and that would be ok. Again, i think this is just an opinion and im not sure im being fair about the pick.

The 7th rounders: IMO there isnt much to judge about a 7th rounder except that you get a guy who intrigues and one you think it would be a mad dash to get in UDFA. It looks to me like you got a guy who is significantly lower than his talent level suggests he should be in Oakman. He has the off-field thing, and he is kinda tweener between a basketball player and a football player. At Senior Bowl, when i saw him i didnt like how he was built, and he played kinda tall which can be a bad thing, but then he would spring to the outside and put pressure on the QB really quickly, so with refinement he might be a monster. He will need lower body strength and bulk added, but he has a ton of potential. I know 0 about Geronimo, but i agree with you thats a cool name, so worthy a 7th just for that 🙂

That is where the team physician comes in. He should have all the medical reports and in a position to make an informed opinion on prognosis.

  77. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Its not like every team 1-12 would take Jack if he was healthy

Its probably more like half of them
So its not like for him to fall to 13 then 12 team doctors say “he’s not healthy”
its probably more like half a dozen indicated there was a risk

the lower the player falls the less the risk
Some one who passes at #5 might say, but if I was at #13 I would take him

If he falls to #13, there is reason to take him despite the risk bc you evaluate “who else could I have” and might think Jack is worth the upside

    • Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

Exactly. Especially with the first 2 picks going with the QB position. That pushes everyone else down for at least the first 10 picks. They aren’t the best two players in the draft so it should benefit us, even at 13.

  78. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Brian, it’s not BS on Jack. It’s from the medical rechecks. Some teams might be okay with him and others will not. Daniel Jeremiah was on WFAN today and he said some teams might view Jack as only a 5-6 year player but they’re okay with that.

    • Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I’m okay with that. Think about how many 1st round picks don’t work out.
