Call it whatever you’d like but I have to make a stipulation or correction. In my zest to kiss these rookies ass and to also welcome the vets who were brought in I referred to, in my previous post, our recent year’s Free Agency periods as “making a splash” and while true in most cases this simply cannot, nor will it be tolerated, include the signing of Ndamukong Suh. Bringing Suh to Miami was genius and will pay off in spades. Suh is a special talent. Suh is the bedrock of this team, the biggest meanest sumbitch in the league.
Suh didn’t show up to voluntary camp, what a bad teammate, blah, blah, blah … wee wee wee
I don’t care if Suh only shows up on 16 Sunday’s (even though a gratis Friday walk thru would be nice, but whatever…) if whatever makes him so pissed off to have to leave where he is that he brings that anger on Sunday.
Is the 4-3 alright for you?
We can play something else if you want?
That kind of talent, don’t kid yourself.
So yes there is a Stipulation. You better believe it.

If you are Herman Cain then it’s “stip-a-lation”, no matter, I love Herman.
Alright Suh didn’t catapult the Fins into the playoffs last year and the Defense as a whole had it’s problems but I’m going to do with Suh what the Tannehill crowd does with him. I blame coaching and scheme, I blame lack of direction and stubbornness to adhere to a dismal plan. I expect Coach Gase and his staff to truly understand the player they have and to use him to their fullest advantage. Let the beast feed – feed the beast.
If I were the coaching staff I would intentionally piss Suh off every game day. Move his locker to a different spot every week. Don’t have his uniform ready and waiting for him. Perhaps a wet-willy, maybe a pink belly, noogie, tie his shoelaces together or the old hot foot.

Whatever it takes to get him to his utmost pissed-offness.

Suh is here, and so is a new coaching staff, everything is different now!!!

Adam Gase says Peyton Manning’s “tutoring” of @ryantannehill1 was overblown by media. Basically, the two had lunch. That’s it @SiriusXMNFL
Now we’re getting into the Gase deception. I think even Tannehill admitted it was more than that.
I also question where people are getting this idea that Tannehill “regressed” in 2015.
I don’t say this in some blind love for Tannehill. I just wonder how any pro athlete is supposed to statistically improve on every measurable there is for his position every single year in the league. No one has ever done that.
Good point, especially on a team with failed coaching, hence the many firings that brings us to the new Gase era and away from the philbin error.
Brady has won some Super Bowls. Would it be said that he “regressed” the years he did not?
Although a case could be made for that last year, that is as much due to aging as “regression.”
I think the other players did not come through for Tom in the years he did not win the Super Bowl.
Various combinations of players around a QB will result in various stat combinations over a career.
Basically the same thing I said yesterday, and used Montana as the example, in a year when he had no OL.
And when has there ever been a complete melt-down of the coaching staff like there was in Miami last season?
Has there ever been another team that fired its HC, OC, DC all in the same season? and brought in a position coach for 3/4 of a season to try to learn how to be a HC/OC/DC on the fly?
That would make any QB in history “regress.” (meaning have an “off” year).

DT3 can run with a little power, he’s no Miller, but Miller killed us in 2nd halves running the ball, that’s why he didn’t get the carries, not because they just stopped feeding him. Miller was hot or cold, DT3 is more steady 3.5 per carry, not great, but sometimes you just need to get a few yards to keep them honest. We tried at times with Miller to keep them honest and he’d lose 2 or gain 1.
Reply
With all due respect….I just can’t go with that train of thought cause that’s not what I was seeing in games.
Anyways, good luck with DT3 helping this team at all.
And yet Tannehill threw for more yards in the season, more yards per throw, and more yards per game than ever before. They accused him of having a bad long ball, so he went out and practiced that and in 2015 he threw 3 TIMES as many completions over 40 yds as 2014 and 30% more (That’s a lot) 20 yard+ completions than 2014.
How is that regression? Yes he had a slightly lower completion percentage and a slightly lower passer rating, but he was sacked the second most in 2015 of the horrifying 184 times in his career.
Could you do your job if your co-workers let you down that much?
Again good points….that’s why this franchise keeps trying to build around #17 with the right personnel, both players & coaching.

ProLou,
I also disagree on the notion that a QB doesn’t have to make a read on a deep out.
A read must be made on every play including the safety on a deep out.
A dump off underneath must be taken if a deep throw cannot be placed into a safe area out deep where only the wr can make a play.
_________________________________
If you’re throwing deep on a 9 route you don’t need to go thru progressions. The OC calls the play, the qb calls the play in the huddle and if they have the matchup they want, the throw is made. there’s no progression involved like there is in throws made between 11 and 20 yds. you’ve really got to know what you’re doing on those throws because you may need to go to your 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th receiver in your progression. But, you’ve got to be able to read the defense. On a deep throw like the one to Parker that Parker caught by out-leaping the defender the only thing they’re looking at is the matchup on the and where the safety is. Even still, you’re going to do something with the other guys to draw that safety away from the play.
I see people on here criticizing Tannehill for not showing “leadership” or “fire” when his guys gave up sacks. Do you like it when your boss yells at you in front of the whole office staff whenever you screw up?
I doubt it.
People point at Marino as a role model for getting on his teammates, but that actually was embarrassing to watch! And it did NOT win him any Super Bowls either. I many times saw Marino throw the ball 20 yards out of bounds to avoid a sack. How is that better than holding out hope until the last second and then taking the hit? I guarantee the linemen respect a QB playing tough and silent better than one who plays scared and rants at his men and calls them out on national TV.
Wow! Marino was the team, if he got hurt the season was over, so what’s he supposed to do? I loved the fire of him yelling at his players, I wish RT had half of that fire.
2 yrs ago I watched the tape of all of RTs sacks, I don’t think he took much punishment on any of them, mostly he’d go down or just get wrapped up. He took more shots in his highlight reel.
Marino was a great QB, but he never won a Super Bowl and he would throw it to the cheerleaders to keep from getting hit. If any team loses its starting QB it is virtually assured of not making the playoffs. (See Brady giving way to Cassell or Romo last year.). Marino was not any more indispensable to his Dolphins than Tannehill is to his.
Stop Naples, there’s no comparison with Marino’s pocket presence vs Tannehill’s.
Tannehill is not perfect. Name the player who is.
But if everybody on the Dolphins offense had played as well as Tannehill, and everybody on the defense had played as well as Suh, we would’ve been in the playoffs.
Fix the huge problems at OG, LB, CB and HC/OC/DC and then let’s reassess Tannehill and Suh.
I agree with that, that’s why I’m excited about what we’ve done in the offseason. Tunsil alone should give him time to throw, so that he isn’t running for his life so much, which will allow him to make more plays.
Here’s a perfect example of what I’m talking about with Miller, against Wash. he had 13 carries for 53 yards for a 4.1 avg. You think that’s not bad, but looking at the runs he started off with 1 yard, o yards, then 1 yard, both these series we punted. Then 7 and we punted, 12, 17 and we kicked an FG, Then with 7 minutes left in the game runs of 7,2, 2, then punt. -6,1,1, and 8 to finish the game.
Miller had something to do with 1 FG in the game, he was hot for that one drive and the rest of the game he was pretty much doing nothing. 8 of his 13 carries were for 2 yards or less, you don’t have much of a ground game with that kind of a back, He did have a nice catch to get us out of our own end for 22 yards with 2:00 minutes left in the game, but I’m talking about running the ball. I’d rather have a more consistent runner.
Steve, the other teams have players that make plays too. Especially against a poor designed & called offense…we made it too easy to defend…IMO! Having DT3 last year wouldn’t have made a damn difference…IMO.
I agree having DT3 wouldn’t have made a difference, because many players wouldn’t play for Philbin. In the Wash. game they used Damien on a 4th down play on our second drive I think at about the Wash. 20, he had a hole and ran right into a defender to be stopped. DT3 gets that 1st down easy, and Gillislee easier. Damien’s lack of being able to run the ball really hurt, especially since Miller couldn’t get the tough yards.
With the energy the team started out with last yr it was obvious they stopped playing for Joe, so nothing could’ve saved last yr, anything that was accomplished was self pride, and anything that wasn’t I blame Philbin for not being able to get the team together.
Naples, again all good points….that’s why this franchise has made a commitment to Tanny & keeps trying to build around #17 with the right personnel, both players & coaching on both sides of the ball….it’s called building a team that can compete for championships….that’s what 31 other teams are constantly doing too….it’s not easy when the level of competition is fierce across the league.
Go Phins!
Naples I just want our team to score when we need to score to take a lead, to make a game close or to put someone away. Of course last year was mess but the frustration while watching it happened made me and a lot of others question if Tannehill was capable of leading those tough needed drives. He’s tough as hell has a great arm and can run I hope Gase gets the winner out him and that whole offense.
I sound like Paul Ryan – I’m close and I want to be but I’m not there yet.
Tammy and I are having lunch in Vero Beach next week lol
Tanny
Paul Ryan, I just threw up in my mouth….lol
I know right? LOL
I want to score more. We have to. Tannehill needs to help with that.
I also want our defense to stop giving up first downs on third and long every damn time.
so now to defend tanny some are gonna toss marino under the bus. classic
Steve, I hate to break it to ya, but Gase has said he likes what Damien brings to the table…coach speak? Could be, but DW is still here after this offseason. So we’ll see once the camp roster trims start.
He said he likes Stills too, so . . . . JKJBBLOL
You don’t bring your guys in, DT3, to use them as fodder. I’m pretty sure DT3 will get every chance to make the team, and I’d bet the last spot is between he and Damien, so we’ll see who makes it.
Tannehill learned more eating a BLT with Peyton Manning than he did in 4 seasons under Philbin
I think it was a Turkey sandwich (wink wink) right ? a Turkey sandwich.
Wouldn’t want to piss off a certain pig.
TBLT.
Ok but yuck what self respecting bacon lover would do that? lol
LOL – Good point
I wonder if Gase will have daytime practices during camp and not these 8 am starts. I want to be able to go to camp again but the Philbin schedule was a bitch for an out of towner.
Mike, yes infact Gase did like what he saw in Stills too. Hope he can get him involved in some more big plays like the couple we saw last year.
I want Stills to do well, as long as he’s on our team.
It’s bad enough that the heat are getting their asses kicked
You guys have to talk blt
Fuck off
that’s it! now I’m hungry!!

truly a shame.
Ugh, I’d rather vomit out draft talk again before I’d say shit about the best QB we’ve ever had. Tannehill has had bad protection but he’s been given every conceivable advantage this year. I think he will excel but no reason to throw the best passer in history under the bus to make Tannehill look better.

i kind of said the same thing earlier. it is one thing to say tanny hasnt had the best chances to be successful a whole other thing to trash marino to make a point
watching the heat game with my son, yeah yeah the things you do for your kids company when they are in their 20’s, but the conversation turned to older players and what not. even talking about players he never saw play in all the big sports. he said he only got to see marino in his last few years and asked me how he was in his prime. my answer was basically….
‘the fins could be down by one or two scores with 3-4 minutes left in the game and all you would want is the defense to make one stop, cause you just fucking knew if the defense could make a stop marino would either win the game or the least tie it up’
his response ‘damn, what it would be like to have a qb like that now’
Yep. GOAT.

was that Mike E pitching last night?
This question is to Leonte Carroo on miamidolphins.com
3. How exciting is it for you to be playing alongside wide receivers such as DeVante Parker and Jarvis Landry?
Carroo: “I’m very excited. As a sophomore, I got to play against DeVante when he was at Louisville, and I got to see what type of great, physical receiver he is. I’m a huge fan of Jarvis Landry. The accomplishments he’s made in the past two seasons … watching him at LSU, it’s an honor to play against those guys. I’m going in to have the mindset that I’m going to be as hungry as can be and learn from those guys. But at the same time, I’m going in to compete and try to win a starting spot as well.”
*******************************************
Uh, aren’t you playing “with” those guys, not against them?
You’re always playing against/competing against the other guys in your unit in camp & in weekly practices in season…it’s how you win a role or a starting spot one day.
Well, I wouldn’t have phrased that way.
Especially because they’re really not competing against them, they’re competing against our defensive guys.
jetssuck
That’s an unbelievable performance by Scherzer
The May 12 threshold has arrived in the NFL making remaining unrestricted free agents that much more unrestricted.
What do we mean by that? Well, any player that remains an unrestricted free agent due to their contracts expiring with their team in March is now free to sign with another franchise without the signing counting into the equation for determining compensatory draft picks.
Does that really matter? To some teams, yes. Baltimore has been very conscious about getting compensatory draft picks under Ozzie Newsome. While the best free agents on the market will be scooped up in the early free agent frenzy regardless of how it factors into compensatory picks, once it gets to this point in the offseason it’s easier for teams to wait until after the deadline has passed to sign remaining free agents without the threat of losing draft picks next year.
Mike, you’re competing against the results the guy ahead of you on the depth chart is putting out in practices, etc. Think of it as a weekly Combine within the team.
I get it GDP – I think it was kind of a selfish thing to say, that’s all. Not a big deal by any means.
Regardless, I do like his attitude. He’s hungry
Mike, you doing OK with your reading? I know this guy in NJ that works in an optical… 😛
That guy is too busy with his Dolphins blog, don’t think he’s very good
Last yr in the preseason everyone was fired up, with our first team O and D playing lights out, then the reserves came in and our lack of depth was discovered. The opposing OC that brought out that discovery was Adam Gase.
It’s funny how a specific conversation erupts when you’re not on and then you scroll through the posts. Oh look, it’s another discussion about Tannehill. LOL
We were fired up because we had Joe Philbin as our HC. It’s hard not to be excited with that dynamo leading the team
That’s how it happens Tim.

Accurate synopsis!
But to be fair there was more positive for Tannehill than negative this time. LOL
the scouting reports are done by aliens
the player profiles are done by cartoon razors
sheesh….
SB
Or like this
I think Lippett will give Howard a good battle for the starting job at CB . . . . We have no draft picks next year
Gase is going to make a huge difference in our playcalling . . . . We have no draft picks next year
That’s one less worry for the front office. Time scouting before the draft is stressful. Besides this past draft filled every hole we have. No more weak links or excuses.
Mike, selfish? How could what Carrooo said be selfish? Remember, Gase & Grier wanted alpha dogs and no more pusses?
Don’t be like your elderly clients that are rubbing off on you by complaining about everything…lol 😉
Eh, not really selfish, just not like a team player, but still, I love that he’s not a puss, so I’ll overlook it. lol
We’ve had Philbin for the last 4 years, so we’ve all gotten soft, we’re not used to Carroo”s kind of talk.
Speak for your stay puft
I missed the Mets game last night but did I see that Noah Syndergaard homered twice and drove in all 4 runs? LOL
He’s like, if you slackers won’t hit, I WILL!
I stand corrected Piggy.
Tim
Big “debate” this morning on WFAN about Walker vs Murphy. Murphy’s hitting .409, Walker .261, but Walker has 9 HR’s and has played very good defensively. Murphy has 22 RBI’s and 22 runs scored, while Walker has 19 RBI’s and 14 runs scored
Murphy will cool off, Walker’s defense won’t. 😉
Speaking of Mike E and soft players, remember when he was the only one defending JMART during bullygate?
ROTFLMAO! 🙂
I was more in touch with my feminine side back then. Now I’m a rough and tough hombre

naplesfan2010,
You missed the point of my discussion with Lou & Steve.
I don’t look for reasons when looking at data (its objective not subjective).
Everyone in every corporate/professional field is measured against data (and many people get disposed of without consideration of things out of their control in many cases).
All I see is that in certain categories, RT went down (an observation).
In using simple analysis to view trends, I weighed the 2015 year observation to his career average and saw that the statistics in question were not career lows or below his career average (usually a sign of just variation and not a downward trend alert).
I told Lou that if the eyeball test fails him; the data doesn’t point to breakdown towards a negative trend (away from ascending numbers in virtually all categories YR/YR his first 3 years).
As you noted, he did increase his Y/A and Y/C on passes which in almost all cases usually has a slightly negative impact on comp% (the farther you throw the less accurate you are so the missed attempts go up usually).
You mentioned Dan Marino and his ‘throwing away’ and say you’d rather have a QB hold the ball till the end. The worst part of a sack is the lost yardage on a play which fucks over the play calling on the next down. If you put the team in a 3rd and 15 you are basically handicapping it instead of 3rd and 7 which has a much higher rate of success for a 1st than longer. RT had 45 sacks last season and lost a career worst 420 yards (more than the 399 he lost 2 years prior in his 2nd season when he took 58 sacks).
You look at someone like Blake Bortles who has taken more sacks than Tanny his first two season in Jax (50-60 in each season so far); he lost something like 345 in YR 1 and then 325 in YR 2. Russell Wilson has averaged about 45 sacks taken the last 3 years and the total yardage lost average is around 250 for him so this kind of stuff is important to sustaining drives.
Anyway, as negative as this all sounds, I’m not really trying to be. Cam Newton had more up and downs than RT through his first 4 seasons (went down in YR 2, up in YR 3, down in YR 4, then exploded in YR 5…something I’m looking for in RT’s game).
I see no reason to look for alternative to RT yet because the data does not support him being ‘broken’ and still on track for improvement just on data alone. Moreover, it’s my belief that the defensive unit needs far more improvement than the offense (yea that may sound crazy but the team is not going anywhere without it being top 15 on D).
Fins have ranked around 20 the last couple years in terms of points given up. The D was top 10 in points defended in RT’s first 2 years. However, on yardage given up, they were in the 20s.
Looking at the Fins history; between 1998-2006 (2007 was the disastrous 1-15 season), The Dolphins D ranked top 10 every year (top 5 most of those years) in YARDAGE allowed except in 2005 (18). There were variations in points allowed ranking but generally they were much better than recent teams and for obvious reasons (yardage succession usually leads to more scoring and conversley yards defensed usually leads to less scoring chances for the other team).
I’m hoping the Fins D sees a major boost this season because it’s been far more difficult to watch them give up 3rd and longs into 1st downs than seeing the offense crap the bed.
A big part of what would happen to us was on crucial 3rd downs is when RT would get sacked on jailbreaks, it seemed to happen a lot. Throwing the ball away doesn’t do you any good there, we’re punting anyway. Just don’t fumble.
Damn – Al throwing down the gauntlet to D. Let’s see if D can come back with a longer post . . .
Off topic but did anyone see the Warriors put away the Blazers last night?
Poor Blazers, I thought their effort would have put them past Thunder/Spurs for sure, but Sephen Curry buried their hopes for another day with another monster final 2 minutes.
What an amazing player.
Then again that team rolls without Curry.
Sometimes…they got by Houston but had some issues with the Blazers without him.
They have a great team non the less as you mentioned. It’s like the Bulls. For the all the stuff with MJ; the year he retired I think Pippen still lead them to a 7th game vs Knicks deep in the playofffs.
What’s the NBA?
I don’t watch that sport anymore after the basketball gods have seen fit to plague the Heat with injuries over the last couple of weeks.
“Fuck off w/ your whining!”
From–Knicks fans everywhere
Last night’s game really ticked me off. Heat can only blame themselves for what transpired in the final 45 seconds because when it was 84-77, they kept forcing Toronto into missed shots and turnovers and responded with nothing but 3 point attempts …the Heat could not cut the 84-77 score down with like 5 possesons to do so and then wonder why late in a 1 pt game they can’t win…pathetic.
I haven’t watched a single NBA game in months
Been over a decade for me
Really competitive sporting events are just fun because you see people playing sport they love all out to be named the best and that is pretty awesome even if the sport itself is dumb as dunny derby races. I also watch to sport my home state teams so i have caught a few Heat games, and were the Magic still relevant id watch them in the playoffs as well. Basketball as a sport though, not one im overly interested in.

“Instead of drafting Tunsil at No. 13, I’d have drafted Ohio State linebacker Darron Lee, who went No. 20 to the New York Jets, or Houston cornerback William Jackson, who went No. 24 to Cincinnati.”
So instead of drafting the best Olineman in the draft he would take the 3rd or 4th best LB or the 5th or 6th best corner…..

LOL – Funny!
The way our contracts are set up for our highest paid players, most of them are set to come off the books in 2018 if this team doesn’t become a winning team the next two seasons.
Suh – will be a big cap hit regardless at $22.2M
Tannehill – $4.8M
Maxwell – $0
Albert – $1.7M
Pouncey – $2.0M
R. Jones – UDFA
M. Williams – UDFA
Misi – UDFA
Mitchell – UDFA
Wake – $0
Abdul-Quddus – $833K
You see how this is set up? That’s why I say we’re on a 1-2 year plan. 2016 is key because if we have another bad/mediocre season it could begin sooner. But if we’re not a good team by 2017 it will have to be looked at as we can lose without all these guys.
If the 2016 season is a failure it could start a bit sooner. But 2018 is the clean house season if we don’t become a contender before that.
Suh will account for 70% of the 2018 cap hit should we release him if we can’t trade him with lesser cap hits for the new team. If we retained him or traded him all we’d eat in 2018 in dead cap space would be $9.33M for 10 of those top paid players. If you’re starting over that’s nothing especially when the cap will likely be upwards of $170M by then.
sheesh Tim
this is a pretty shitty limerick
way too many lines and it doesn’t even rhyme
LOL, I’m not in a limerick mood.
Do you understand why I’ve been saying we’re in a win now mode?
1. Ross wants to win now and he doesn’t expect a rebuild with a 5th year QB.
2. TBaum was hired to turn things around aggressively, not in 3-4 years.
3. We hired Gase to get Tannehill and the offense to the next level.
4. The contracts suggest we’re going for it in 2016/17.
5. We can walk away from all of the high paid players in 2018 and start over.
It’s not my idea, it’s what I see happening based on the moves we’ve made the last two offseasons. That doesn’t mean we’ll have nothing left to work with, but we will be replacing a lot of the core including QB. Why pay a bunch of players a lot of money to lose?
Yep Tim, it’s pretty obvious to me too 2018 is a new start, if they want it.
Lol at Suh being 70% of the cap in 2018, I think you need to go back and look at what that 70% actually is referring to.
Not with the dead cap I laid out for 2018. If we release and let those 11 players walk in FA in 2018 because we didn’t win with them, that totals up to $31.53M in dead cap space. Suh’s cap hit would be $22.2M in dead cap space alone which is 70% of it.
I thought you were saying his dead money would be 70% of the cap, instead of 70% of the dead money. On those cap sites when you look at future years it shows the percent each player is toward outstanding cap spent, that’s what I thought you saw.
I stopped by the Target to shopping spree
By the bathrooms I ran into three
Though women on top
In the men’s room they stop
And damned they stood when they pee
There is a cornerback named Howard
Who will quite soon be playing near Broward
Mr. T thought he was slick
He traded up to pick
So the Dolphins fan base then soured
It’s been a while since I’ve seen rhyming lyrics names. What do you call it when you rhyme lines 1,2,5 and 3,4?
You know the answer . . .
I don’t that’s why I asked.
try making a limerick with with orange or purple at the end of a line….
Poranges isn’t a word Witchy Pooh, so…
There once was a witch named Miko,
But that bitch looked more like a Tiko,!
She lied and she smoked,
Her husbands chicken she choked
while Omar was next to her side!
You don’t sign Suh and extend Tannehill and Pouncey in 2015, then add Maxwell’s contract and extend Wake this year, and add a vet like Mario Williams as well at $8-10M per for 2 years for 3-4 years down the road. That makes no sense. It’s a 2 year window, folks.
Enjoy it! The Mets just did something similar this offseason and they’re in the hunt for a championship after falling just short last year. They’re in win now mode too. They can’t pay all their young pitchers over the next few years. This is their window having all of them along with… Cespedes. 😉
Were stuck with Suh for at least 3 more years under normal circumstances. They aren’t cutting him to amass $22M in dead cap.
You’re probably right, either trade him or keep him. Then the dead cap for cleansing the other 10 top paid players would be $9.33M as opposed to paying them their annuals. That will happen. Remember, we will have had two more offseasons of FA and drafts by then. That’s when the team will look totally different and I really hope that’s not how it goes down.
Steve, I was talking about the 2018 cleansing dead cap hits if we don’t start winning the next 2 seasons. Not the overall cap.
If you were Ross and we go say 7-9/8-8 the next 2 seasons, would you still play all those guys to do that? I wouldn’t.
There’s no such thing as all those guys, they don’t get lumped together. Some guys will still have value and worth keeping. Blowing it up is a myth. Cleveland this year got rid of lots of guys, but they kept lots too. You don’t just dump every high salary in one year.
I said it’s possible especially with all the ending contracts and low dead cap hits in 2018. In the meantime we would have had another two FA periods and drafts. We don’t know that team yet.
You just said earlier “Yep Tim, it’s pretty obvious to me too 2018 is a new start, if they want it.”
That’s all I’m saying. It’s not like it will be 11-11 but it could be really close to that.
They’re called Limericks

************************
Stuck is right!
Nothing about Suh’s contract was economical
But rather acquiring a player quite phenomenal
So stuck we might be
until next year we see
If they can free him to be a force unstoppable.
There once was a QB named Tanny
Who played for the Dolphins in Miami
To white boy for me
Omar did explicitly decree
I prefer players that cry for their Granny.
Here’s a limerick:
Quit fucking dogging Suh
We are not stuck with him
He’s a beast
to say the least
now go fuck off where you came from
WTF
There was once a lively man named Jakeem,
and football player would never he seem
though Lilliputian like small
with his hands on a ball
he’s more explosive than you ever would dream.
DT’s don’t make that much cash
That’s an elite QB’s stash
How is it than
We went 6-10
His value it gives me a rash
Get some Gold Bond and suck it up
Not true. Darius has more guaranteed money than Suh, McCoy is right behind them. More are coming you watch. Aaron Donald?
Elite DT’s do make that much cash
For elite QB often they smash
Coaching i believe
Though we may disagree
Was at core, to blame for that rash.
That’s not where you got that rash 😉
There once was a DT named Suh
any slander against him reads like Poo
go screw yourself if you don’t like him
You made that decision on a whim
I will not hear you Boooooooooooooo!
Brady has a head Suh can smash
I do not care about the cash
the guy is the best
and New England is a pest
The AFC East is ripe to Gash!
If you don’t like Suh well too bad for you
We also got fucker named Caroo
One cost cash
the other cost picks
Y’all are a bunch of dicks
There once was a man from Manhattan
who’s wallet would seem to fatten
He bought up the fins
We need way more wins
or OD will send his scrawny ass packin’
LOL — OD will sure try……and it worked with all the other owners.
I knew someone was going to go there once was a man from, but I expected it to be Rob.
There is time that is best
When brothers from far lands gather in sunshine for much more rest
Beers, friends, football and tailgate there will be
Only question is will you hear “there ffr I see”
Oh yes, Oh yes, we are talking about the most wonderful Fest
nice
I sucked it up last year, it’s time for Suh to suck it!
Many of you judge in haste
I say that’s such a waste
There is such a desire for wins
That you turn in your fins
Only to find yourself back in the same place
Leonte Carroo
Is better than Suh
Although he did cost 3 picks
His YAC average is sick
And his salary costs as much as a shoe
Two picks, a 2016 6th and a 2017 4th. The 3rds wash out.
So we took Tunsil with zero picks?
What about the pick we drafted him with?
Steve we have to draw from what we know.
There once was a girl from Decatur…
Tell us what you know about her? I swear I’ve never been there.
Bring in some talent, then when we do its too expensive, but when we don’t Ross is cheap
i blame herd for the downfall of todays chat
Oy!
We got a 3rd we didn’t have in the 2016 draft that we traded a 2017 3rd for. Guess what, MIN didn’t have that traded 3rd in 2016 did they? Come on guys!!!
MIA trades a 2016 6th and 2017 3rd and 4th to MIN for a 2016 3rd. You tell me how many picks it was. You always have to use the pick to take the player. It was a 2016 6th and 2017 4th for the same round pick a year earlier. Why is this so hard to understand?
Because it doesn’t make any sense. You even say right there you use the pick to take the player. The pick = 1 pick + 2 more.
Tim who’s on first 🙂

So we took Tunsil with zero picks?
What does that mean?
By your logic we used zero picks to draft Tunsil.
Uh… no!
There once was a man from Nantucket
who’s schlong was so long he could suck it
he said with a grin as he wiped off his chin
if my ear were a cunt I would fuck it.
Ryan Tannehill
He has put up some good stats
But we need him to do more than that
His performance in crunch time leaves a lot to be desired
This has contributed to some coaches being fired
The excuse has been his offensive line
Well, this year it should be just fine
He needs to show us more
Or next season he will be out the door
Steve and Mike, who did MIN pick with the 3rd they gave us in 2016?
No one, we used it on Carroo, as well as next years 3rd, and 4th RD picks, which comes to a grand total of 3. Tim, like the owl, uh-one, uh,-two, uh-CRUNCH! Three, three picks to get to the middle of a Leonte Carroo
LOL and SMH!!! How many prospects did MIN get from the trade, 3 right? How many did we get, 1 right? What’s the differential? 2 right and both get 3rd rd picks, us a year earlier and them a year later. So what did we give up in the swap? 2 picks!!!!
Did we give up a pick in the Eagles trade? No we swapped position, same thing here. MIN should have gotten a 2nd for a year later but they opted for the 3rd and 4th instead. They lost in value. A 6th and 4th does not equate a swap of 3rds.
Tim
Answer me this . . . . Didn’t someone announce this ?
With the 86th pick in the NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Rutgers WR Leonte Carroo? If they did, and I’m sure they did, that’s 1 pick. 2016 #86, 2017 3rd RD, 2017 4th RD. That’s 3 picks no matter how you slice it. I’m not saying we traded 3 picks to get him, just that we USED 3 picks, which is undeniable.
You’re wrong Mike, Carroo fell out of the sky and right into camp, we didn’t use any picks on him 😉
Has the fest date been decided yet? The prices are climbing for those heving to travel by air.
Not sure, but it’s looking BUF, which I will be unable to attend.
Are you going to the Pitt game?
looking like BUF
Mike wrote Carroo cost 3 picks, not what’s the difference between how many we gave up and how many we got back.
Brian
That’s the plan brother! We better get on it though, from what you’re saying
Yeah, those lower fares go pretty quickly, although you have much better options from Newark and NY.
MIN = 3 picks
MIA = 1 pick
Differential equals a +2 for MIN.
A 2016 6th and 2017 3rd and 4th to swap for a 2016 3rd. I can’t predict where either team will finish next year but those picks don’t carry high value in draft points. MIN has a gain of 2 prospects, not 3.
Look at it like a baseball card trade, I’ll give you these 3 for that 1. You gained two and that’s it. We wash on the one. Capiche!
This is just like the riddle where the three of us go to a hotel and the room is $30.00 You, me, and Steve go to a hotel for a threesome, and the room costs 30 bucks, so we each take $10 out of our wallets, and play the clerk at the front desk. When we get to the room, I find a coupon that says $5 off the room, so I call the front desk, and they send the bellhop up with $5. When he gets up, we say, well, we can’t slit $5 evenly, so just gives us $3, and keep $2 as a tip. So we now we each paid $9, which is $27, and the bellhop has $2, which makes $29. What happened to other dollar?
