Figure four years after you graduated High School to determine which NFL Draft you would have been a part of had you been a good enough football player to be considered. For me it would be the 1986 Draft. Although I was as fast as a deer and hit like a truck they weren’t looking for me. The draft in ’86 was twelve rounds long and the league at the time consisted of only 28 teams. Let’s see who was the best player from that draft, let’s see who the Dolphins came away with and who was largely thought to be the biggest bust of that draft.
Determining who the best player from the ’86 draft was is tricky because the first pick in the draft was Bo Jackson
who without question was the greatest athlete from that draft but he never played for the poor Tampa Bay Bucs who drafted him. Jackson went on to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals before becoming a two-sport hero when he began his NFL career as a member of the Oakland Raiders.
Other candidates for “best” player from the ’86 draft include:
1st rounders – Tony Casillas, Leslie O’Neal
2nd rounders – Ernest Givens, Pepper Johnson
3rd rounders – Pat Swilling, Tim McKyer
How about 8th rounders Ray Brown of St. Louis who played in a whopping 262 games or Seth Joyner of the Eagles?
It’s a tough one to answer.
The ’86 draft featured Dolphin favorite Keith Byars who went to the Eagles with the 10th pick and later came to Miami as a FA acquisition.
Without a first round pick the Dolphins first pick came at pick 52 where Dolphin great John Offerdahl was selected. His career was cut short due to injury or he may have easily vied for contention as the greatest player from the ’86 draft.
T.J. Turner DE and James Pruitt WR were the 3rd and 4th round picks who both had decent careers.
Kevin Wyatt, Brent Sowell, Larry Kolic and John Stuart were 5,6,7,8 respectively. A bunch of blah nothing. John Stuart never played in a game.
Round 9 turned up a nice player who had a decent career in Reyna Thompson.
Jeff Wickersham, Arnold Franklin and Ricky Isom at 10, 11 and 12 complete the WHO? factor. Wickersham is a local product from Merritt Island, Fl.
The biggest bust of the 1986 draft is pretty easy to answer however, at pick 12 the Lions selected QB Chuck Long from Iowa.
BUST!
Ouch!!

Amidst all the political and Mets talk I thought I’d go down memory lane a bit while our current Fins are out there in OTA’s grinding and bonding. I’m a sucker every year for it but I have to say I like the things I am hearing thus far. I feel like Suh is being handled properly. I feel like this coaching staff is “reaching” the players and the players seem to be buying in.

Good morning everyone
Morning! Speaking of 1986, what I remember is THE METS WINNING THE WORLD SERIES!!!
A league source says Reshad Jones is considering sitting out the 2016 season if his contract doesn’t get re-worked
At the time the Dolphins signed Jones to his five-year, $30.8 million deal, he became among the NFL’s highest-paid players at his position, and he hadn’t yet fully established himself as a star.
I understand it’s a business but this s*** pisses me off he signed a contract at the time it made him one of the highest-paid players at his position. I am a big fan of Jones but for Christ’s sake do your job you signed the contract now play the contract
Nice job Son
Mets won the World Series and Bonzo was President of the United States.
In the 1984 Draft, my draft class, Irving Fryar was the #1. Not an original Dolphin, he was drafted by the Patriots, but he was a great player for us. OT Dean Steinkuhler (WHO???) was #2 to the Oilers. Some great 1st RDers that year include Carl Banks, Wilber Marshall, NOT Jackie Shipp though (Doh!)
Boomer Esiason was a 2nd RD pick, Panthers HC Ron Rivera was too, Jay Brophy was too (OUCH!)
The Giants really helped their defense with Carl Banks, Gary Reasons and Steve DeOssie
The Dolphins got worse from this draft. 😦
Also, why are the Dolphins squashing a giant penis in that picture?
The Dolphins did draft William Devane though in the 12th RD, and he went on to become a decent actor.
Ahhhh the 12 round drafts
Can you imagine what thAt would have been like with all the mock draft posts
Mike that’s the new coaching staff’s “squash the penis” drill.
aka “the Caitlyn”
Maybe it’s supposed to be Tom Brady
FEST is the Bills game on Oct 23 at one.
We’ll get together the Sat night before and Chef Warren will be showing off his stuff at the tailgate as usghe. We have a three-row block in Sec 315 on the aisle towards the 50. That’s on the 15 on the visitors side. They are just like last year’s ‘cept other end of the field.

Got so big….I didn’t reserve enough seats. Had to threaten to sick OD on them in order to get them to yank some already designated for indiv tix sales to our block.
I’ll be doing the actual pay later today. So now is the last chance to add that extra plus or step back from the group section.
Hypothetical, but what kind of compensation would you accept from another team for Reshad Jones if they call for him?
I’d call the Redskins or Giants and rape them for picks.
1st RD pick the next 2 years
Not negotiable, nothing less
It ain’t happening, but he has two years left on his contract at $7 mil. You have to compare such to what a FA S would get. He might only be worth a 2nd. And I would need at least a first from a team I thought would give us a top-half pick.
Son — Nice thoughts on your personal draft class…..even if it makes me feel old.
Mine was the next year, ’87. Pretty weak one actually. Only HOF guys are Rod Woodson and Cris Carter. Our top pick was John Bosa.
I’d have to go with Woodson on that one.
LOL at “Although I was as fast as a deer and hit like a truck they weren’t looking for me.” No doubt in my mind the 2nd was true……but didn’t know you had the jets back then. 🙂
Stanger,
I think Joey (Spicoli) Bosa has about as much bust potential as his as dad, and his uncle too for that matter. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s out of football in a couple of years
Stanger,
That’s why I said hypothetical :).
In any case, compensation would be needed in another form as you mentioned (another star player at another position with a similar experience profile).
Nothing is impossible…imagination is all that is needed.
I remember one of the only trades that ever worked for both teams in the NFL.
Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey and a 2nd RD pick
Completely agree……would have to be a player involved. Unless he was a secondary guy, we’d be sorta planning for the future though. And not sure how a team would give one of those up if they needed Jones. But maybe some 3rd CB will look real hot in camp and we could get one of the top two with bigger names.
I felt Jones was paid quite high at the time when he got his new deal. I think he played into it meaning now he’s earned the money he’s getting. He’s the 6th highest paid player on the team and he’s also up there among safeties. He’s also signed through 2017 and makes over $8M per so I’m not sure what his beef is.
No beef, he just wants to cash in while he can. I get it. I don’t like, but I get it.
It’s just another reason why teams have to be prudent in stocking all positions in the draft. You get one guy who can play the leverage game knowing the team doesn’t have shit behind him.
Pitt for years have reloaded at WR to offset high salary demands.
I think he’s paid fairly. He’s a really good player and one of the best safeties in the game but he’s paid as such.
It’s just a threat at this point. I wouldn’t read too much into it until he starts to miss real NFL games. He’s at the point in his career where practice won’t make him better, just keep him somewhat sharp.
I totally disagree with this. It’s not about practice making him better he has new players to his left and right and he needs to build chemistry and communication with them. He is hurting the team with his selfishness He was over compensated last contract and was happy when he signed it. Now greed and selfishness is his chief motivation
Stanger
Did you ever think you’d say “Fest got so big”?
You guy surprised me. But then a bunch of folks decided to come who said they wouldn’t. Made me me badger my guy at the tix office the last four days.. He wanted to pass off what he could do from his screen (worse seats) rather than go the extra mile……but hey — having more that we thought is a problem I like, least now that it has been settled.
Mike,
For what it’s worth, I think the Fins can get a 1st RDer for Reshad straight up for sure but as you mentioned, i’d want more. Perhaps eating some marginal player’s cap hit would be needed in return for the time being. I think as a GM, i’d be willing to do that but it would have to be only in the current year and that’s it.
The problem with trading Reshad is he has already made it plain that he doesn’t want to play for what he has left on the two years of his contract the team taking him would have to agree to give him a mega contract on top of the draft compensation
Yeah, but there might be a team out there willing to pay him, and give up picks to get him. Might, I say, might. lol
But for conversations sake I would demand a first round and a later round pick or a player
Depends on which team is putting up the first. Big difference btwn say the Broncos and the Browns.
Rockphin,
These guys are professionals, the communications thing is a tad overrated. These guys who come from big programs have communicated before at the college level. You either suck at it or can do it. Inexperience with reads is what hurts the young guys on any team. If people do their job then it works. I saw this with Bobby McCain last year on a few times he got burned deep playing man-zone scheme where he covered WR man to man off the line then went zone 10 yards on the route, freeing up the WR to the S area where no help was found. I know this because you see McCain pointing and yelling at the S after he got burned meaning there was a read error on of their parts.
Son, I don’t know what we would’ve done without those 3rd and 4th rounders from the’86 draft. I’m sure glad Shula didn’t trade up for a star 😛
Pipe down Reshad.
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/contracts/safety/
Son, cool write up but did James Pruitt really have a decent career? T.J. Turner was okay and at one time was one of our best defensive players on our team but that tells you where are defense was at during that time. It was bad!
Mike, you graduated high school in 1980? I thought you were a year younger than me.
I agree Mike on Boss, because heshe also going to be playing out of position/scheme.
Who’s Boss?
Didn’t you know the boss Springsteen was playing in the NFL now 😛
You have to look closely at every frigging word with this damn autocorrect.
Bosa not Boss. And he’s not heshe.
I am just going to bite my tongue on the Jones situation for now
as time goes on, if it turns into a bigger deal I might squeal a little
He and his agent obviously want a redo. In some ways thinking that might not be a bad thing. Cap just keeps going up and he’s young.
we have the money
go ahead and pay Jones
but I think they have to be careful
they can’t look like – hey if you complaint and under contract, we will accommodate you
I think perception of t he FO to the players is a bigger issue than the actual $$$ in this case
New things in the stadium this year (from PBP’s Habib).
Call me an old man — but really hoping they don’t show off the new sound system to the point Rock can’t yell shiot at the Bills fan two rows down.
———————–
• From now on, the Dolphins will always play home games under the lights. Because the canopy will leave much of the field in the sun, special LED sports lighting will be used, even for 1 p.m. games, to fill in shading and produce a uniform look for TV.
• Garfinkel expects every home game to sell out.
• Shade-tolerant grass called paspalum will be installed, offering a playing surface less susceptible to divots. Grow lights will be wheeled across the turf.
• The canopy is designed to withstand a Category 4 hurricane with no preparation required when storms approach.
• The last of the video boards to be in place by the end of June. Each is 50 feet high and 112 feet long. The four boards will provide about double the total viewing area of the two old boards with significantly better HD resolution. A new sound system is being installed.
They say turf, is it real grass?
It is. Question is what paspalum is like versus what we had. Our field before always got high marks from the players.
It’s all about how it relates to injuries. The astro turf they in the OB in the ’70s was like walking on carpet.
Steve — best I can tell after a quick check…it is a new alternative to Bermuda as a tropical type grass for golf courses. I played on a Bermuda grass field on a rugby tour in the Bahamas once. Softest stuff I ever played on. It was like the tackle happened but hitting the ground never did.

HEY OLD MAN! I intend on being a good citizen this year and quietly sitting in my seat while enjoying the game. I wont be drinking or yelling or insulting the other teams fans………….
HA!!!! right! LOL

Nuhah! OD said that “Cheap” Ross was only paying for a crappy canopy that would blow down at the first hurricane instead of a full roof.
Our field before always got high marks from the players.
Well, except for when the Cane’s played the day before and it was raining. Oh and after the baseball diamond was removed.

I skipped the 8th grade. I graduated a year earlier, which was the worst idea ever. I’ve finally matured to a 12 YR old level, so when I graduated HS, I was basically a fetus
You born in’63?
Yes, August 22
Steve
The astroturf in the 70’s & 80’s was like walking on carpet, with concrete under it
Exactly, I was on it once and couldn’t believe it was that hard.
Anyone seem Rock lately? He’s been quiet lately.
We’ll be having an auction for the seats right behind his. If the game gets close it will be a once in a lifetime experience. Brian NY, Ken and I already have our bids in for that…..the bidding is already fierce. 🙂
Jones is an FN idiot. Yeah he may have had a great season, but to hold out for a couple mil is very selfish. It’s not like he was making rookie money. I’d say just pay him, but then you’d set the precedent and you’d have a mtiny.
Mutiny
I wasn’t trying to come up with a new nickname for Grant 😉
JTiny
Best comparison for Jones in regards to salary/etc is Cam Chancellor. Cam Chancellor has an almost identical contact to Jones. Both players at signed through 2018 with a 7mil per YPA on their contacts, even their cap hits over the last 2 years are pretty much the same.
There are safeties that i do not think are are good as Jones making more, like Tashaun Gipson, Jarius Byrd (who is equivalent if he gets back to former form), and Devin McCourty, but these guys got their contacts more recent and they got them at perfect times, when they were the top prospect in FA. Jones will get his day, if he reaches FA and he will likely get that top Safety contract but for now i think what he is being paid is pretty spot on with what he should be.
It might actually blow up in their face though if they wait, right now they have the leverage, but the closer it gets to him being a FA, the more the landscape is going to unfold and the more likely he will take his chances in FA vs resigning. If the deal he is asking for isnt ridiculous, and just is more guarantees and more years under contract, i say it would be smart to pay the man, because i dont see top safety money going down in the future, and salary cap will be going up. Back-load the contract, but knock the guaranteed money out early and then see how things go.
I wouldn’t have a problem adding 3 years onto his contract.

Does homeraid have koolaid in it? 🙂
I read that wrong at first glance and though you were asking id hemorrhoids have koolaid in them….. really different visual
LOL — D…..we got to get you to a Fest. All will be clear after that…..lol.
D, he has 2 years left on THIS contract. (’16, ’17) Screw him trying to blackmail the team for more money when 1/2 way through his new contract.
It’s about adding years onto his contract at today’s rate, not succumbing to his demands. He’s someone they have to be careful with. I think he cried about his rookie deal too, after a couple of years.
This is why I hate our players making the Pro bowl and getting recognition.
You still don’t want to let players think they can throw a hissy and get what they want though, even if it does make sense. Thinking Jones watched Jerry McGuire more than a few times though.
Thats about the only angle i cant disagree with. It does open the door for players to come in early to renegotiate contracts and strong arm the team. I dont though thing the success or failure of it will affect players trying it every year, because they do.
I think you are looking at the idea of a new contract wrong. New contracts are really extending current ones. So if they extend him for like 4 years 32mil, and make 20 of it guaranteed we basically are extending him for 2 years at 8mil per and giving him a 1mil guaranteed bonus on the current and next year salary. I really dont see the harm in it personally. Would it make you feel better about it if they just called it a 2 year contract starting in 2018, for 8mil per? Its not like he will collect on two contracts in 16 and 17, its just a guaranteed bonus of sorts.
IMO it smart to lock in the rates today, because i havent seen any of them come down, and with the increase of the cap every year, it doesnt really burden us too much.
Homeraide is just grain alcohol (moonshine) with powdered Koolaid mix added to it. 180 proof. LOL
PHEWWW……knew it was strong, but a full blown tailgate is tough enough for me as is.
We should have more overall team speed this year, especially on offense. We added quite a bit of speed in the draft.
I want net speed increase, just drafting guys doesn’t do it, they have to actually replace the Misis
Well you have to add speed to increase it. We have quality speed at every position on offense and we added more. That’s all I was saying.
Jordan
I’m just saying it’s a start.
Oh, I thought Steveccnv was saying replace Misi. Not the Misses.
Yes Rock, that’s who I was referring to.
Stanger, I will not be bringing Homeraide to the Fest this year. My buddy’s dad who actually has a still up in Vermont will not be sending me my mason jars of white lightening this year. He had a stroke (is recovering nicely) but had to stop his drinking so shut down the still.
I joke about having a still in my backyard, but truth is I live in a condo right now and don’t have a back yard. LOL
You’ve heard of pot plants in closets right?
Nothing wrong with a condo dude. Live in one too. Easy living and not being able to have a still is the only negative.
well, not having to mow the lawn in August is definitely a plus!!
I want the Jordan’s, Parkers, and Grants of our team to succeed more than guys like Misi, because when the athletic, physical freaks make it they create mismatches that can be unstoppable. See Parkers TD against the Ravens.
Besides, when I brought the Homeraide last year no one would even have any of it and I wound up drinking most of a Pint of moonshine to my head. That may have had something to do with my crying in the rain……
I helped you with it 2 years ago…
I thought it would be fun to bring some real WV moonshine to the game but they prolly wouldn’t let me on the plane with it. 💥

…and then Bob Ueker walked by…
ESPN – Do the Dolphins have enough at RB, they let Miller go and Houston is going to…Houston has a pipe dream. They think, because Miller killed them in one half, that what they’re going to get. Miller will have some great games, and would be a great complimentary back, but he’s not a #1 back, they’ll find out soon enough.
I like our chances with Ajayi and Drake. The thing that always stuck with me is the whispers that Miller wasn’t all that bright. Always had me leary/cautious of him.
Drake is already ahead of Miller catching the ball. Ajayi is more consistent running it, so we’re better off this year.

Agreed, I was a big fan when I was a kid. I think we all knew this was coming based on recent reports about his health.

Son — with your frame you must have been one heck of a player. What was your playing weight?
Naples, when I sign in I have to type a character and click, get told I need to login, go back and then I can post from there. That’s every time for me.
Very encouraging (from J. Walker). Does anyone — as an O mind and person at least — not both like and respect Gase?
——————————————-
Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron had a tough decision to make this offseason. The Dolphins wanted Cameron to take a $1.5 million pay cut from his projected $7.5 million salary in 2016 or risk being released.
Cameron did his research to help decide if staying in Miami for less or examining other options was best for his NFL future. One of the first calls came from a good friend in Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas, who played under new Dolphins head coach Adam Gase with the Denver Broncos.
“He called me immediately and said you have to play for this guy,” Cameron said of Thomas. “It was one of those … it was kind of like a no-brainer. I’ve had a lot of conversations about him and what he can do. It was kind of the things I heard about Coach Gase (that helped make my decision), and I think I made the right decision.”
I watched him tell that story in a video interview. Gase is well respected across the league. He became the new up and coming HC candidate for a reason. Ross looked into who the best young coaches were and Gase’s name kept coming in. That’s why he’s here. 🙂
Only incoming HC I had as much hope for — hate to say it — was Saban. My main Q with Gase is can he manage a team? Know he can btwn the lines.
Also thinking Cameron will be getting a lot of looks next season……and Thomas told him just that, even if it wasn’t in the article.
I don’t know why Gase is in Miami, what I do know is that’s why they wanted him. As opposed to getting Philbin who was their 7th choice.
I hope that Gase gets this team back to respectability. I’m so tired of watching mediocrity or worse.
Steve
He’s 25, so he’s getting up there in age for a prospect, especially one with such pedigree.
The only guy I saw 3 weeks ago that looked like a major league prospect on the 51s was 2nd baseman Dilson Herrera. He’s 5 tool, little guy, he hit 2 HRs, one a granny. He had about 8 of the 10 RBIs.
He’s played in the bigs with the Mets. He might be our 2B next year as Walker will be a FA.
Stanger, all first time HCs have to start somewhere. So there is only one way to find out if he can run the whole show. I’d be surprised if Gase is a failure as a HC. You can see how far his respect goes with the coaching staff he put together. He has a ton of connections and coaches who were willing to work for him – both young and vet coaches.
I agree 10 fold. Even if we sucks this year he’ll figure it out sooner or later. He seems to have the Belicheat work ethic and creativity, but he’s not an ass hole like king cheat. Ross thought Philbin was going to be the next Shula, but I think it might be Gase. I’d be more surprised if he couldn’t get us over .500, than if he won an SB.
Tim & Steve — below is an article that I’ve pimped a bunch of times. It is the one that sold me on Gase. Yeah it is long, but if anyone ever read no one ever said so. Maybe one of you guys will be the first.

I believe I did read that or another article similar about his start as an intern in college up until now. I read a lot of stuff about him when we hired him because I didn’t know a lot about him other than what others were saying and that I knew he was OC with Peyton in DEN and then in CHI. He’s impressed everywhere he’s been.
Blows my mind that he started doing this stuff in high school and that got him a gig doing analytics for a major college program as a freshman. What were you doing as a frosh? I was biotching about the head of the Gender studies department being my assigned English 101 prof (man she hated me) and trying to figure out which parties were the best on a given night.
He had a passion for it and then got really good at it.
I read it when it first came out, then read it again last time you posted it. It’s what sold me on Gase too. Those that have passion for what they’re doing are generally very good at it.
One more voluntary OTA June 6-9 and one more final mandatory minicamp June 14-16 before TC starts. That’s when the real doldrums will start over the summer.
I am 100% on board with Gase, and I was like 50/50 with Philbin.
Philbin was way too old to be the next Don Shula, whereas Gase never played football, so …
But I hope the Dolphins coaching arc synchs up, only quicker. LOL
Gase played football, just not past high school, so it’s not like he’s Greenie. The best coaches are generally those that weren’t very good players, so…
btw thanks Tim for your comment on logging in here. For a while I was happy to find that I did not have to go through the extra step, but now I find I do again.
No problem.
Last year there were times when mediocrity would have been an improvement
True we had like 5 games where we really weren’t even in the game.
I predict we get to the playoffs this year, the AFC championship game next year, and the Super Bowl the following 3 years.
I hope you’re clairvoyant. 🙂
Home Superbowl 2020!
Hey is it ok if I play the My Draft Year game? I will give you hints, and a Stella Artois to the winner, but a six-pack to whoever just guesses it right away with no hints.
I’ll go 1996. Just cause of when Stella hit the scene.
Isn’t that a nice one though. Daryl Gardener and Zach makes that a great one.
That draft produced about 8 players that were a part of the team for a few although we had 12 picks. LOL
That was JJ’s first draft so that was part of turning it over with his guys.
AS a draft down guy always loved how Jimmy did his drafts…..even if not as fond of him as a person.
A lot of big great whites have been caught here so it makes sense. You can get into deep waters pretty quickly from LI and CT.
“Based on some of their migratory patterns, we suspect New York may be a birthing site,” Not sure where they give birth, but makes sense based on where they are often seen.

Except those aren’t great whites. 😉
I watched highlights of Jakeem Grant again and we have to get him returns. He’s too quick and shifty and really fast not to take advantage of that gauntlet. A couple of blocks and misses and he’s gone.
What we HAVE to do is use 2 returners, Grant and Drake, if teams actually do try to kickoff high and short to the corners. Landry as the good hands returner with Drake at the end of tight games when leading.
Steve
Dilson Herrera is why we let Daniel Murphy go, and picked up Neal Walker who was in his arbitration year. They think he should be ready next year, although I have to admit, I like Neal Walker.
You’re going to love Dilson, he looked like a man playing with boys, but not in stature of course.
I like Walker too. Herrera is the projected future for sure at just 22 years old. He looked like he bulked up a bit this spring which usually happens as guys get older. He should develop more power and he’ll add speed to the lineup as well as defense.
He sure looks bulked up now and seems to have the power, he looks like Mighty Mouse.
Cool!
Based on some of the comments under this article, it seems that most don’t know the reason why the draft changed to 7 rounds. When free agency started the draft changed to 7 rounds. The thinking was players taken after the 7th round had little chance to make a roster with all the new technology and the way scouting evolved, so they wanted to give these players their own choice of where to sign, to be able to stick on a team easier. This was something the players union bargained for in the collective bargaining agreement.
I believe that changed in the early 1990’s, the 96 draft was JJ accumulating more picks in a 7 rd draft.
Naples I guess your draft to be 1977. AJ Duhe followed by Bob Baumhower!
wow dude that is OLD!
Great Draft though.
Those sharks above are mediocre whites
They can be dangerous
But it’s not really a priority for them
They are kinda like “whatevs” when they see a swimmer near them
Ok first hint:
The Dolphins did not have a first round pick at all that year.
But the team they gave it to drafted a future Hall of Famer.
And the stupid Browns had 2 picks in round one and drafted a WR who basically had no stats ever and a OT who was also out of the league in 3 yrs -ish.
You sure all of that is correct?
Naples
Was it a Betters than usual draft for the Dolphins? 🙂
great pun but no
2nd hint:
a guy drafted that year was traded for a dinner at a restaurant.
Stanger wow that was a great draft but no …. although here is hint #2 and a half:
That year does have a cosmic intersect with mine.
Naples, unless I missed it the Browns never had a draft where they took a WR and OL the same draft in the 1st that fits your comments.
rechecking … yep they did … consistent futility.
Neither player panned out?

I prefer this bullshit! LOL

LOL I love that one you posted with the arrogance and along with the clueless look in the one I posted, that says it all.
The world is my oyster, show me the money, now get in line bitches.
The Great White Nope 😝
It was pretty easy to determine his game wouldn’t translate to the NFL. I have no idea what the Browns were thinking. He’s too slow to play the elude the D game he played in college, he’s got no zip on his fastball, isn’t particularly accurate, can’t read a D, and rarely hits receivers other than his first option, unless on a scramble.
His nickname should be late over the middle, or maybe late to the party.

I can’t beleove what a fuck up this guy is
It is pretty amazing how he refuses to comply with the rules of society. Stupid FN spoiled rich kid.
Talk about a futile draft class, I must’ve put a hex on us the yr I came out:
Hint #3:
Our first 3 draft picks were a C, OG, WR and I doubt even you guys who know everything about our team ever even heard of them.
We traded away our 1st rnd pick.
Our 2nd rnd pick never played for Miami.
Our 3rd rnd pick also never played for Miami.
Our 4th rnd pick played in 6 games for us his rookie yr and 3 games 6 yrs later but never caught a pass for Miami.
Well, it’s official now, Naples is out. Not that there’s anything wrong with that 😉
ROTFLMAO … I had to reread to figure that one out. Well played.
Now … for the Stella, Steve …how many yrs have I been out?
