  1. Mike E. says:

    Kevin Bone offense?

  2. stangerx says:

I know you guys are all thinking the same….but I will be the one to say it.

Gase needs to be fired NOW.

Did you see how many points we left on the board (red zone was pathetic), all the penalties, how the Steelers scored late? Did you catch the couple stupid schemes on a couple plays too? And don’t get me started on the blocked field goal.

And Tunsil went out with heat cramps????…..he’s playing for the Phins. Time to burn the house down…….Ross are you listening?

  3. olddolphan says:

FFR__YOU may throw beer(s) at televisions. But I prefer to DRINK BEERS rather than throw them! And you can bet yer ass I would NOT waste a good Colorado Kool-Aid on Steve Ross’s ugly mug!! (ESPECIALLY IF I PAID ROSS’s PRICES FOR BEER!)
AHHH my first Coor’s Light of the day is gonna taste GREAT!!

    • stangerx says:

OD — put your tix for the Fest game up for the big money and join us in the nosebleeds.

You have time. Ryan will help. Just makes sense (DRG ain;t coming), and got one or two for you on the cheap.

  4. finfanrob says:

you rant was dumb. everyone knows if you are going to have a serious hate felt rant about the fins you have to include the qb or every one knows you are just bsing

    • stangerx says:

LMAO — did I forget to mention that Tanny missed that TE on that one play so bad……he’s gotta go. And his wife is too thin. 🙂

  5. Rhino says:

From James Walker: “The Dolphins pick up their most impressive win of the season by beating the Steelers, 30-15.”

Well, the only OTHER win was 30-24 OT vs Browns. So, yeah, any non-OT win would be “most impressive…of the season”. 🙂

  6. herdfan says:

I hope Howie decided to watch.

  7. Ken says:

Having a healthy OL does make a difference

  8. Rockphin says:

Howie is not allowed to watch the Dolphins anymore.

  9. Randy says:

I saw more 2 TE running formations than I’ve seen in awhile. Was I imagining it? Lots of misdirection running plays. It sure would be nice to see them commit to this going forward.

  10. Ken says:

Well I saw something I didn’t anticipate I would ever see again – another Dolphins win this season

  11. Tim Knight says:

Excellent team win today. Lots of mistakes were overcome but we made big plays all day.

Ajayi gets the game ball. 🙂

  12. Mike E. says:

This is the best I’ve felt at 4PM on a Sunday since the season began

  13. Ken says:

So committing to the run game does matter

  14. Mike E. says:

I am enjoying it Tim. I just keep thinking can we do something like this every week for the rest of the season.

  15. Tim Knight says:

We could of blown the Steelers out today sans a few bad penalties and dropped TDs. We were the better team today by far.

  16. 81Howie says:

    How did this possibly happen?

  17. finfanrob says:

    Ajayi gets the game ball.

    or the entire o line

  18. D says:

I know OL played better and I know that Tanny played better. We had better play calling, stuck to the run, all around better.

Still a little skeptical and a little concerned that it takes 100 % healthy unit to beat a so so defense. We gotta have some depth so we can sustain this kind of play.

I’m more impressed defensively because this offense is high octane. I know big rape was out, but still the defense bounced back from a shaky start to play pretty solid.

We need to play like this the rest of the season, and win or lose, that will be something to hang on to for next year.

Proud of our team, solid play both sides, really loved what Ajay did. Every time he carried the ball even in previous games he looks explosive and powerful.

Amazing how dead the board is though……think everyone is freaked out.

it is always dead right after a game. it usally picks up a few hours from now. but like your wife always says……fucking premature once again

    • stangerx says:

You actually think if the score was reversed that this place wouldn’t be blowing up right now.?

And btw — the premature days are long over. There are at least some advantages of getting older.

  20. New Age says:

Well, the only half this year I didn’t want to miss…I missed. Glad to see that not only did we beat them, we beat them with Big Rapey playing the second half. Amazing how much better this team looks with a solid OL. Next week is the big test and I hope everyone has a blast down there too. Maybe Fest luck will bring a much deserved ass whipping to the Ryan Bros.

  21. finfanrob says:

wow carolina is 1-5 good damn thing they have one of those elite all world qbs

  22. Ken says:

Offensive player of the week candidates:

  23. Tim Knight says:

This projected starting 5 OL despite James’ struggles is real. This is the offense I envisioned for this team. Not 200+ rushing yards for Ajayi, but a solid running game. The defense played very well today as did the STs despite missed kicks. Franks has some work to do.

    • manitobafinfan says:

We overcame one unit not pulling their weight. Good solid 60 mins. Most games even if one unit is off we lose.

  24. Mike E. says:

We kinda forced them to become one dimensional, much like we’ve been a lot of the season

  25. Mike E. says:

    Guarantee Ajayi wins

The blog thrives on bashing the team, not prosperity.🙂

how in the hell would you know that? none of us have been blogging when this team prospered. maybe a good win here and there but none of us have blogged here when this team was prospering

  30. Phindog says:

That was a great team win.. I was very impressed with the OLine and run game.. Wow.. JayTrain 🚂🚂

  31. finfanrob says:

yeah i do. usually right after the game this place is quite. there is more banter now then after a loss. now later who knows. but i get it, you arent happy unless you are saying something negative. all you can do is bitch about every one on here and tell every one how much you hate them

    • stangerx says:

The burden of being the biggest negative hater on the board (well except for that bastard Tim). You can still hit the Fest btw…..would be great to see you. Let me know if you want.

  32. finfanrob says:

‘ (same ones as last year) and cash drink service down the’

wait, hold on a second. you never said any thing about service down the at the fest. if i had known there was service done the i might have found away of being there………hold on, is this the kind of mike e service? oh who am i kidding even if it was mike e service down the i still would have went

  33. Mike E. says:

Still enjoying that win. That was a helluva lot of fun

  35. finfanrob says:

i just dont get why you and tim are always attacking every one on here. you guys should take some lessons from bat and myself and try and be level headed and never pick on anyone or say negative things about the fins.

  36. Tim Knight says:

Ken, I meant game ball. I don’t care about player of the week. All those players played great this week. #50 is starting to flash and make an impact. He missed some plays last week that he made today. That’s progress.

  37. finfanrob says:

make this happen and i will be there.

cash drink service down the short hairs on the right to the boob table — just across from the doll bar to the left.

Would just be nice to hang again.

It’s supposed to be in the high 80’s here in NJ this coming week. Any idea what the weather is in your area this week?

    • stangerx says:

Mike E — I don;t even check the weather anymore. Unless they are calling the storm things it doesn’t really matter. This time of year will be like 78-84 during the day and early to mid 70’s at night.

And it very well might rain, but that is something you can’t call till like a couple days before, even if then. Sometimes it rains buckets like a flash flood twenty miles away while we are dry as a bone….and other way around.

      • Mike E. says:

I hear ya. I understand. Just hoping for some nice weather this week, would love to relax a lil on the beach and unwind. Work has been a biatch lately, I really need it. My wife too, she’s been getting hammered lately with work too, this is good timing to escape

just going to take a shot here, but my best guess is it is going to be hot and humid.

  40. Mike E. says:

    Thanks Rob, I’ll take it

  41. finfanrob says:

‘My wife too, she’s been getting hammered lately with work too, this is good timing to escape’

lmfao……not even going to say anything just laugh and laugh and laugh in my head.

  42. Ken says:

FFR come to the Fest. At least let me out of the basement so I can go

  43. D says:

This win was a breath of fresh. However, lol, reality is its one game. I want to see more, luckily we have enough of a season left we get a chance to see if there will be more.

We had this OL, minus Pouncey for first three games, so either it’s time to say Pouncey us the obvious leader of the OL, or we still have a while before we think they are past their instability.

Also let’s hope they all stay healthy because I don’t think Young is going to be able to replace BA with any sort of a chance to be equivalent. Maybe they would move Tunsil back out and put Steen in at LG where he played in college.

Still feels like we should take a shot at a top FA OG, and maybe draft another kinda high. When our depth is not far off out starters, that’s when we are going to feel our OL is great.

  44. finfanrob says:

nope and have told you for the last year. the door is unlocked if you want to leave all you have to do is push it open.

  45. finfanrob says:

and leave it to D to be a big D and let all the air out of todays balloon.

come on dude us fans only get one game like this a year, cant we still enjoy this one.

  46. Phindog says:

Stanger… we are really looking forward to the Fest.. It will be great to see everyone again and meet those that I haven’t met yet.

    • Mike E. says:

      Yeah man, I can’t wait!

    • stangerx says:

P-dog — I don’t care how the team is going in a given year. Simply nothing better than the Fest, and that includes seeing you, the lovely and the not-so-pup.

But be careful what you wish for…..for starters beware of Mike E. He’s not as nice as he seems. 🙂

It’s not letting the air out, I’m saying I just want more of it….don’t you?

more of it?????? hell no. who do you think i am tim or that happy fairy happy dude stanger. i want them just to keep losing

  48. Brian in NY says:

Today was a very good day.

  49. Mike E. says:

I said hammered WITH work, not hammered AT work. Read it again silly. 🙂

  50. Mike E. says:

    LOL Stanger -You would know!

  51. herdfan says:

I could get used to this winning thing….great game to watch. Would be nice to always feel like that is going to happen.

  52. finfanrob says:

what the hell are you talking about. i was just laughing at you escaping. get your mind out of the gutter will yah. geeeze you fucking pervert

  53. Mike E. says:

You really should come to the Fest. I know it’s a big drive, but it would be pretty cool if you made it.

You really should come to the Fest.

nope, not going to ever happen.

    • stangerx says:

      Never, ever, ever?

Not sure why you don;t want to hang out with the crew again.. You know there is no one we would rather see show up.

  55. Phindog says:

Rob.. You should carpool with OD.

  56. finfanrob says:

i think even more shocking today then the oline play was that of maxwell. who the hell was in that guys jersey today.

  57. finfanrob says:

they are honoring brett farve in the packer game, i thought he played for the vikings.

  59. stangerx says:

I’m sorry guys….but where is the love?

I’m drinking a cinnamon infused tequila today that a friend of mine gave me.. I really thought it would be disgusting but it’s pretty good.

  61. CavalierKong says:

Woohoo! First Sunday I’ve enjoyed all year. We actually looked like we belong in the NFL today.

  62. 81Howie says:

    Nope, I opted out…
Work to do and the game wasnt on here so I took a nap instead 😦

  63. finfanrob says:

is that really good? i bought a bottle of it a while ago but cant bring myself to taste it

  64. finfanrob says:

tell you what, this winning shit just fucking brings out the animals on this blog.

  65. CavalierKong says:

The energy and effort was there all game. It manifested as stupid penalties early on, but you could see the players where giving everything, they just needed to do it smarter.

    Tanny looked great.
    oline looked great.
    Maxwell played excellent.
Ben is the 3rd QB we’ve damaged this year.
Franks needs to get these FGs inside the 10 higher. The block was all on him. The defender could have not jumped and still gotten the block. That’s two inside the 10.
    Darr is Fields 2.0.

Division game against the surging Bills next week, let’s bring the same intensity and even better execution.

    • stangerx says:

      “Darr is Fields 2.0.”

Cav — don’t get ahead of yourself there. Being the Pope make you neither God nor Jesus.

      • CavalierKong says:

Lol, the only thing Darr needed to work on was pinning it deep, and he has that in spades so far this year. I don’t even miss Fields. 🙂

  66. Brian in NY says:

I would say a solid 35-40% were Steelers fans.

    • stangerx says:

Actually less than I would have thought.

Best line for folks like that after a game like this — “Hey… are still in South Florida.”

  67. Brian in NY says:

Fest game next week. I fly out tomorrow and back Friday!!!! Let’s keep this train rolling.

  68. Phindog says:

Rob. I keep my tequila in the freezer. I don’t care for warm tequila. I was skeptical of the cinnamon but I must say it’s pretty good.

  69. CavalierKong says:

I had it wrong. I thought the fest game was today and everybody was enjoying the win in person.

  70. Mike E. says:

Good to see ya man, er ape! O-line was MVP, got Ajayi going, Tannehill looked comfortable for the 1st time all year, and both made the O-line look even better. That was great to see! Also made the defense much better, they weren’t on the field all day, although just like Solomon Wilcots said, sometimes that’s they’re own doing, because they can’t make a stop.

  71. Brian in NY says:

I made the Jumbotron for the second year in a row today.

  72. Mike E. says:

Can anyone remember the last time 1 player carried the ball 25 times on the Dolphins?

  73. 81Howie says:

I am surprised that whats his face didnt switch out RBs on every possession.
Told you weeks ago Ajayai is our Best.
    Arian Foster, yet another waste.
How did we do with return men this week, did we switch them every time a punt or kick?

  74. Mike E. says:

Landry handled the punt returns, and Jakeem Grant the kick returns

  75. finfanrob says:

just got to love the ‘told you so’ comments. no one ever says. damn i was wrong, but every one loves a lame ass ‘told you so’

  76. finfanrob says:

lmao this announcer just said ‘richard sherman got away with one there’. what an idiot…..dick sherman gets away with 10 a game

  77. Mike E. says:

That was a crucial non-call right there too. Game winning non-call

  78. finfanrob says:

who cares what time a game it happened. it was blatant PI if not for the seafags being one of the nfl darlings that gets called against any team

  79. Mike E. says:

I get it Rob, but it’s a shame when it’s the play that really decides the game

  80. Brian in NY says:

Damn I was wrong. I really though Pitt was going to manhandle us today.

  81. Mike E. says:

Who’s the super genius that said this? LOL

We simply need to run the football. We have 2 young backs who would love a nice workload, and we should give it to them. Heck, we have an old RB that would love to get a lot of carries, and revive his career, and show the NFL he can still play. Play the game like teams who don’t ask their QB to win games. The Denver Broncos are one team like that, and the Houston Texans are another. Both teams have over 500 yards rushing at this point, and neither team relies heavily on their QB’s, Trevor Siemian for Denver and Brock Osweiler for Houston. Both teams have better defenses than we do, but if we ran the ball, and granted, you have to run effectively. I think if you make a commitment to run, odds are you will have success. If we can start running the ball 25-30 times a game, I think the defense will be better, and I think Ryan Tannehill will be better too. Ryan Tannehill won’t be Aaron Rodgers, and our defense won’t be Denver’s defense either , but the team would likely be more effective with that approach.

  82. finfanrob says:

i agree, i am just sick and tired of all the nfl darlings like the hags and cheats getting these obvious bs calls.

  83. Mike E. says:

I have to tell you, I thought they were going to a late hit on the Falcons on the last scoring drive for the Seahawks. Wilson got hit after he threw and was knocked down, I was totally expecting a flag. It was pretty close to being a late hit.

  84. finfanrob says:

lol. gronk gets and unsportsman like penalty then on the side lines you can see belicheat tell him not to worry about it he will take care of it.

  85. finfanrob says:

just watch it again you can see belicheat mouth. i know i got it, dont worry about it, i will take care of it

  86. finfanrob says:

i dont know who said that but whoever did was and idiot. didnt you see rodgers lost today

  87. manitobafinfan says:

Dog:?you thought Cinnamon infused tequila would be gross ?? From a guy that drinks ElfPiss

  88. manitobafinfan says:

Stanger: see up the page on Shutlle. Can ya include that part in yer posts for the week ??

  89. herdfan says:

Holy shit…we made a highlight reel in a good way!

  90. herdfan says:

Just looked at the Pick em that GDP has. I never, ever pick against the Dolphins but I did this week. I wasn’t alone. Every single person on there picked Pittsburgh. lol

  91. 81Howie says:

Kick returns suck now anyway! First they move the ball up and now they give you the 25 on a touchback.
Only good part is if some fool trys to take it out of there like one of our guys thought about weeks back.
    Put Grant on punts

  92. finfanrob says:

any body have any preference in the baseball playoffs? well except for toba. we all know he is from canada and all he will do is apologize to us for who he is pulling for.

  93. herdfan says:

    Cubs….if it takes forever

  94. Mike E. says:

I don’t have my heart behind a team, but it would be cool if either the Cubs or Indians won

  95. finfanrob says:

i am so sorry. that was kind of who i was pulling for, which means they are doomed. and mike, so sorry for you too that was probably the second team i would pull for.

  96. manitobafinfan says:

Go Jays !! Not that i really care. 🤓

Toba — to the game stuff is one I am leaving on you guys, but will tell you what I know.

Will be at La Quinta. (like you said)
Brian (1) (least pretty sure…will be here just not sure where)
    Son (4)
    Toba (2)
    Bookman (1)

Pretty sure Pig will be too. Rock has said he might be. (DRG is out).

Al and his bro as well as markeyh am not sure of, but even if they don’t stay might be in for transport to the game..

Hulk and me will be with Chef Warren early setting up the tailgate before ya’lll show up.

Mike E and his lovely have a car that can take three more (although he might have got folks into those). He is not staying at La Quinta but says could stop to pick up.

Phindog, wife and big pup are not staying at La Quinta, but will not be too far away. Not sure what their plans are for game travel but you would know better than me.

Would be awesome if you figure out this aspect of it, even if with the other folks. Either Ken or I can get you contact info for everyone.

And not throwing this on you so much, as saying up to you guys to figure out for yourselves.

    • manitobafinfan says:

Stanger: wasnt trying to push onto you either, was just asking if you could copy that onto any agenda posts ya put up this week and i will monitor and arrange said transportation.. The Phindog trio are jumping in with Mike E. As they are staying a block away from each other.

      • stangerx says:

“The Phindog trio are jumping in with Mike E”……that helps me understand.

So seems we are down to Piggy and Rock as well as (less likely) Markeyh and Al from La Quinta.

Will add in the info going forward. You have a deadline on it?

  98. finfanrob says:

dont worry about that. by looking at that list i doubt that will be the first time some of them have been on the short bus

  99. Mike E. says:

I need Andrew Luck to throw one measly TD pass to TY Hilton….is that really too much to ask?

Wyoming. Both Ajayi and the Oline were beasts today… if i remember correctly ZERO sacks and very little pressures/hits on Ryan today. Only time i remeber him being hit he actaully backed away and three a strike downfield to TE Gary. Pretty sure we were all cringing expecting a sack fumble return…
