The defense has been covered, and finally, we’re going to look at some offensive players. The first installment is the running backs. We recently signed long time all pro running back Frank Gore to a 1 YR contract. We found out we have a very talented ballcarrier in 2nd YR player Kenyan Drake after we traded away Jay Ajayi. Drake surpassed Ajayi’s production last year, finishing the season with 644 yards rushing on 133 carries with a nice 4.8 YPC and 3 rushing TD’s. In addition, Drake caught 32 passes for 239 yards and 1 receiving TD. The thing that worries me about Drake is durability. I’m not convinced Drake is a 300+ carry back, but going by the way Gase has used his RB’s at each stop, he seems to prefer a stable of backs, with staggered use. One back will get more carries, but it’s not a big ratio, maybe less than 2:1. I’m pretty sure we will be drafting a RB in this draft, and it might even be as early as the 2nd or 3rd RD. DEN recently released RB C.J. Anderson, who played for Gase while he was the OC in Denver. If we sign Anderson, that would really push RB to the back burner in this draft, but at this point, it hasn’t happened, and it may not happen at all. So let’s see who is out there in this draft! This is in no particular order by the way . . .
Sony Michel 5’11 220 Georgia

Considered by some as this year’s Alvin Kamara. Smooth runner who catches the ball very well out of the backfield. Played in 8 games as a true Freshman, he became a starter his Sophomore year at Georgia. His Senior season was his best, finishing with 1227 yards and 16 TD’s facing the best competition in the SEC. After watching kamar last year, I would swear he must have ran a 4.3 at the combine, but like Sony Michel, he ran a 4.54. Michel is not the “power back” type some are looking for, in fact, his skill set isn’t all that different than Kenyan Drake’s. He runs with good vision and find open spaces and has the patience to let blocks develop (Unlike Ajayi!) Michel is rated at 5.91 by NFL.com and is expected to go around RD 2. He’s probably either the 3rd or 4th back taken, behind Barkley, Guice and maybe Ronald Jones.
**********************************************************************************
Rashaad Penny 5’11 220 San Diego State

Talk about production! No running back was more productive than Rashaad Penny in 2017. 2248 yards on a very NFL like workload of 289 carries and 23 TD’s. Plus, he added another 135 yards receiving on 19 receptions and another 2 TD’s, for a total of 25 offensive TD’s. Unbelievable! Penny ran a quick 4.46 at the combine, but the vertical jump and the bench press were a little disappointing. The biggest knock on Penny, fair or unfair, is the level of competition he faced at SD State in the Mountain West Conference. Penny is also expected to be a taken around the 2nd RD, and in my mind, I’ve reserved RD 2 for a TE. Penny was rated at 5.85 by NFL.com
***********************************************************************************
Bo Scarbrough 6’1 232 Alabama

Here’s a big boy for ya! Scarbrough is eerily similar to Derrick Henry, who also played for Alabama, but mostly because of the size. While Scarbrough is a couple of inches shorter, he’s still a tall back at 6’1, and weighs just about 10 lbs less than the larger Henry. Unlike Henry though, Scarbrough was just a part of the stable at Alabama, while Henry was the workhorse.Bo’s best season was actually his Sophomore year, where he tallied 812 on and 11 TD’s on 125 carries. Scarbrough is a good short yardage specialist who can push the pile for a big first down, and has great explosion and leaping ability to get that TD, Scarbrough ran a 4.52 at the combine, along with a very impressive 40″ vertical and 129″ broad jump. Scarborough will be a mid to late RD pick, somewhere between RD 4-6. At the moment, we don’t have a 5th RD pick, but we do have two 4th RD picks, so it’s feasible.
*************************************************************************************
Kalen Ballage 6’1 227 Arizona State

Another big back, and also, another part time player. You could look at the fact that these guys are part time players 2 ways, one that they are talented enough to warrant a workhorse role, or two, that they have fresh legs and plenty of mileage left for whatever NFL team drafts them. Ballage is a talented back who moves very well for a big back, and has excellent hands and can play on all 3 downs in the NFL. He’s also a kick returner, so that versatility is definitely a plus. Just to illustrate how good a receiver he is, his Junior season he had 126 carries for 536 yards and 14 TD’s and 44 receptions for 469 yards and 1 TD. Ballage ran a 4.46 at the combine, and this Swiss army knife is expected to be drafted around the 3rd or 4th RD. Ballage is rated at 5.46 on NFL.com
**********************************************************************************
Nick Chubb 5’11 228 Georgia

Did someone ask for a power back??? You know who you are, and this guy may be the back you’re looking for. Chubb is a powerful north south runner who can break tackles to get more yardage and move a pile. Chubb was the thunder while Michel was the lightning. Chubb finished his Senior year with 1345 yards on 223 carries with 15 TD’s. he has been the bellcow at Georgia since his Freshman year. Chubb performed very well at the combine, running a 4.52, putting up 29 reps of 225, an impressive 38.5″ vertical and 128″ broad jump. He has tremendous lower body power, an important factor for being a power runner, and he has the upper body strength to push off would be tacklers. Chubb is expected to go around RD 2, which is a tough RD for us, because I have that round reserved for our new TE, thank you! Chubb is rated at 5.79 on NFL.com
***************************************************************************************
So that’s my 5, and there were some tough cuts to be sure, like Royce Freeman, Kerryon Johnson, Ronald Jones and a few others. I didn’t include Saquon Barkley or Derrius Guice, because I think both will be 1st RD picks. Next up is TE’s, and I may actually have to do a combo article of TE’s and WR’s, we’re running out of time with the draft being next Thursday! OMG, that’s only a week away!

Tax season over……
Would love to see great lb or cb in r1p11 or best te. Anyone we can plug and play day 1.
Lol….Just like every other team
We don’t do that. We draft and develop we don’t plug and play. And if they develop really well we ship them the hell out.
Btw, good to see you Krishna. Give my best to your Mrs.
Hey Krishna – Good to see you on here! Like Son, please give my best to your lovely wife
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. This is probably the least exciting schedule I’ve seen in a long time.
How so? I think the Pack, Lions, Vikes Titans, Raiders and Jags are all good teams. Who would you rather see us play?
Good to see you on here Krishna
PENNY! I hope he hangs around until the 3rd round so we can pick him there. I don’t care about the level of competition, the kid can tote the rock!
If David Johnson made it to the 3rd and Alvin Kamara too, Penny can too
So Mike, does the front office know that you have reserved the 2nd round for our new TE? (Goedert)
JACKRABBITS!!
Of course they know, which is why we’ll be taking a TE in the 4th or 5th RD
or not draft one at all and bring back the Ostrich and the leftovers from last year.
Who is the ostrich?
I’m with SB7, I’m not a fan of the AFC south or the NFC north. (how does Oakland get thrown in there too?)
Mike, I want us to play the NFC east and against the Steelers and Ravens. I hate those teams and want to see us beat them any chance we can get. I wouldn’t mind seeing NFC South either but games on the road so I can go to Atlanta or NOLA to see them play.
Is egnew the ostrich?
LOL – Good call – Yeah, Egnew was the Ostrich
Any word on the uniforms?
Not yet, hopefully less wussified
Agreed. If they are not going to go back to the old logo, hopefully they will at least turn the tail down on the dolphin. I’m tired of looking at a logo that belongs at Seaworld, not on the helmet of an NFL team. Lol.
Subject: FW: My retired friend
After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Walmart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women – she loves to browse.
Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Walmart
Dear Mrs. Woolf,
Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Woolf, are listed below and are “documented by our video surveillance cameras”:
1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people’s carts when they weren’t looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-
minute intervals.
3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the
women’s restroom.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official
voice, ‘Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away’. This caused the
employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted in management getting involved causing management to lose time and costing the company money.
5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to reserve a bag of
chips.
6. August 14: Moved a ‘CAUTION – WET FLOOR’ sign to a carpeted area.
7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the
children shoppers they could come in if they would bring pillows and
blankets from the bedding department – to which twenty children
obliged.
8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began
crying and screamed, ‘Why can’t you people just leave me alone?’
Emergency Medics were called.
9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.
10. September 10: While handling guns in the Sports department, he
asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.
11. October 3: Darted around the Store suspiciously while loudly
humming the ‘ Mission Impossible’ theme.
12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his ‘Madonna look’ by using different sizes of funnels.
13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed
through, yelled ‘PICK ME! PICK ME!’
14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed the fetal position and screamed ‘OH NO! IT’S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!
15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked where the fitting room was.
And last, but not least:
16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited
awhile, and then yelled very loudly, ‘Hey! There’s no toilet paper in
here.’ One of the Staff passe
LMAO!!!
Didn’t they call the Ostrich ankle weights on Hard Knocks? I forget the kids name.
YES! SB Egnew.. I couldn’t remember his name to save my life.

Reply
Not just any word. They have the word “Dolphins” on them on the front and the player’s last name on the back.
Lol.
Is David’s last name Wolfe?
Ankle weights was someone else… Roberto Wallace?
Also, Justin Smiley was the Ole Alligator Gar while we’re going through old school nicknames. If I were ever to buy a jersey that’s what it would say on the back.
Ro-BOY-to
Mike E — awesome insight into these RBs. There will be an RB coming our way in the first five picks unless they sign Anderson. And draft is supposed to be deep in them. Always been a fan of the Broncos’ draft a bunch relatively low and sort them out later approach. And guessing at least one person in Davie has some experience with that.

Can’t say the guy is wrong (this time at least). Browns and Jets take two of the of the four is guaranteed. Bills are the biggest trade up candidate for one there is and won’t let one slip past them if they do not. Not sure if we would either. And my sneaking suspicion is that the Pats are ready to move up for one, even if might be bottom feeding on the 4th dropper.
LOL @ Rock
Are you laughing at the David comment?
yeah
I am still pissed off we wasted a 3rd round pick on the Ostrich! it was 5-6 years ago but I am still mad!
Sad thing is, that was their biggest investment in a TE since McMichael
Benjamin Allbright
✔
@AllbrightNFL
It’s very possible that three of the “big 4” QBs in this draft end up in the AFC East.
Does he really believe that New England will move up to get one of the QB’s? …..
Doesn’t have to be the Pats……one could end up on the Phins.
I was doing a mock draft earlier today and kept getting screwed. I do my mocks on fanspeak because it’s the only site I know, but I swear #11 sucks! “All the good players” are gone by then and you can’t trade down in the non-upgraded fanspeak on the clock.
If Oakland doesn’t take one of the top two LB’s in the real draft I will be floored, because every mock I do they take him right before I get to pick and leave me with one of the 4 bust QB’s or the DT or a second round graded O-linemen (second round grade before the combine and FA started)
the point of my post at 11:51 which I got sidetracked and didn’t state was I REALLY want to take a TE in the second but we have other glaring needs as well and it is always a big decision what to do when the clock starts.
rgs – This is all I got so far . . .
I love they brought the orange back in, very nice
Tail still up, but a not so feminine turquoise.
Oh well, the aqua color is still totally wussified. The white uni’s look 100X better
it looks washed out.
Schedule out tonight, let’s see what kind of BS they can come up with this year. At least we don’t play too many prime time games coming off of a 6-10 season.
Nothing says manly like a Dolphin.

Hopefully just the unis are washed out, and not the season
Oh well. I wasn’t expecting much, but at least we have some more orange.
With that said, I still won’t buy anything with that Seaworld logo.
AFC East strength of schedule for next year:
Miami Dolphins – .500 (15th)
Buffalo Bills – .496 (18th)
New England Patriots – .484 (22nd)
New York Jets – .477 (25th)
Well the Patriots get to play us twice and we have to play then twice hence the difference in strength of schedule. It’s not like we can play ourselves…oh wait a minute
The pats factor is in there, but the Jets won one less game than us. They must have picked up some real easy 4th place match-up games.
Jets play Browns
Take away head to head and only the jets have an easier schedule than us, when you compare us individually against our division rivals.
Can your team win the SB, of course they said no to us, but the explanation was, Miami Dolphins no. That pretty much answers the questions about Miami.
Touchdown Wire chris chase.
Jets were disrespected too, as were the cheats, but at least they gave an explanation. Bills also no, but no disrespect.
It doesn’t matter what they do to the uniforms
You can pretty much guaranty that you are lucky to get a full season out of any Jersey you buy
That You buy 🙂
🐷😩
Yeah, I’m not running out to buy a jersey anytime soon, although I reserve the right to change my mind if we draft someone I like. 🙂
I predict whatever TE we draft will be your next jersey
A lot of conversation about strength of schedule when it doesn’t even matter.😊
Preseason means nothing
It’s actually always way off
Imagine if we draft a QB
And the part ways with tannehill
What do you think the % of Dolfans that have Ajayi, Landry, Suh and/or Tannehill jerseys is?
I’m guessing it’s like 70% if the contemporary jerseys
New helmet?
Armando reported that the Dolphins wouldn’t be interested in C.J. Anderson until after the draft. That’s probably going to be the case for him with every team.
That basically means if they can’t land a RB they are looking at, they will sign him
That’s how I read it.
Europe doesn’t care about your deadlines

Piggy – As long as that TE was drafted between round 🕐and 🕒
Piggy,
I agree. That’s why I always look at that stat at the end of the season.
How much does that costs against the cap? I don’t trust tannenbaum…😳
Maybe we charged them this time around?
LMAO
I still can’t believe we paid Soliai $12.5M/year about 8 years ago when we tagged him.
Please don’t bring up Tim’s NT tree! 😉
I like the green color on the new jerseys and I also like that they outlined the numbers in orange for both the home and away jerseys.
NFL strength of schedule is pretty worthless, no matter when it’s taken.
Except when it comes to draft position

No, one of those future busts will NOT be on the phins so it would HAVE to be the Pats. That was the point of my post. LOL
Caught your point, and right with you that the Pats might end up with one. Just not as sure as you that one will not end up on the Phins…even if hoping that if he is there for the taking that we trade down. Same time, having say Mayfield on the roster sure would make for some interesting board stuff. 🙂

The real question is did we give up any picks for them
What makes this funny is most people believe when they sign these guys for $1 or even if it was $50k it counts against the cap.
Stabby’s on the road again!
He recently commented to Dez Bryant that there is no room on the Giants for you. Now there is. LOL
LOL – The irony
I’ve got a question for UK if he sees this post.
Do you have to dial all the numbers when you call someone in the UK from within the UK? (Example form the advertisement above +44 (0) 330 333 0255)
13 numbers seems like a lot to have to dial.
44 is the country code, so no.
having say Mayfield on the roster sure would make for some interesting board stuff.
yeah, ok, you must find root canals “interesting” LOL

what makes it funny, is that it’s a really well-crafted joke.

Sony Michel? Where the power back???
flowers is the power back.
Michel is a power back. He’s a physical runner with some big run potential.
He’s not small
But I don’t think it’s what they have mind when they say power back
he was there?? Gore is the power back
anyone else notice that the green letters on the white jersey is not the same green as the green jersey? or is that just an optical illusion?
That’s what I said. The aqua is darker on the white jerseys, that’s why I like them better. The aqua jerseys should be that color too
I was think there is something wrong with the photo
Are our official colors now 2 different shades of aqua…lol
Orob doubling down on the LB. I like it. But no tight end? Where is the tight end?? At least you got us a full back (I draft Flowers in all my mock drafts) Also, no kicker. You think we go UDFA for kicker?
He tripled down
Those are two pretty good ones
Although I was watching vander each last night and while he is very good sideline to sideline, has great size, good tackling technique and is a good pass rusher too – he gets washed out on a lot of plays
He can get off a block to save his life.
Intangibles are good though – but not 1st round good (I hear people suggest him at 11)
He will be a solid 2nd round pick though
No TE was available vs BPA, We only have 6 LBers and there will be 7 on the 53 so we better double down
Overstating the obvious!
Elway also announced the water is wet
He also announced that he is in fact part horsey.
He’s a regular buckin’ bronco
The Colts Bears and Raiders must all REALLY need Line backers. I cannot seem to do a mock where they don’t gobble them up before #11.
If Al Davis was still there he would take some 5th or 6th RD WR prospect that ran a sub 4.3 40
He did that so many times.
Piggy, what teams will like about Michel is he’s good in pass protection. That’s how these young backs get on the field.
LOL @ Brandon Marshall. The icing on that ego-cake will be if they released him to sign Dez.
Tim – Drake is as much a power back as Michel is, and ORob doesn’t consider Drake a power back
That’s his problem. LOL
well one of them at least….
JBB Rob!!
we have Gore, Michel was there, IMO BPA, Drake doesn’t get the tough yards
Omar Kelly @OmarKelly 35m35 minutes ago
The Dolphins would need to send the Broncos at least its second round pick (No. 42) to make a deal with Denver to move up from 11 to 5. Trust me, this is being discussed.
So the draft is in a week, do you guys want to argue BPA vs. need a few more times?
Wasn’t meant as a response lol
FUCK DO NOT DO IT!! There is no-one available at 5 that is enough better than what will be available at 11 to excuse giving up #42 overall! DO NOT BE STUPID!
I disagree. It gives us a shot at more of the top prospects.
I just did a mock where New England “over drafted” my selections a round before they were rated. They took Goedert in the first, Penny in the 2nd, Luke Falk in the 3rd I kept on scrolling back through to see who took my targets and it was NE the fuckers!
and NO I do not trust you Omar. You have worn out your welcome in Davie and have no credibility
Steve,
Are you offering to ring it? Lol. I’m excellent with delegation. It says so on my resume.
Anita Ward will ring it for you, although I think she wants you to ring hers.

Yay! I can watch the draft and keep the blog up this year without having to worry about the “I have to be the first to post it” people prematurely posting picks. 🙂
yeah, except they will still go to commercial before the Dolphins pick and then come back from commercial to discuss what New England might do 20 picks later and then announce who Buffalo picked and discuss that until the next pick is in. they do it every fucking year.
NFLN does it too, it’s torturous. They never talk about our pick when we go.
LOL, it’s sad how true it is that they do that.

I disagree. It gives us a shot at more of the top prospects.
But you of all people, who agrees with me that you should build through the draft for long term success shouldn’t think that throwing away 2nd round picks is smart. we need MORE 2nd and 3rd round picks not less. otherwise we will ALWAYS be overspending in free agency or hoping other teams cast offs work out for us.
The only position I would trade up to #5 for would be QB. We’re going to get a very good player at #11, so I agree, no reason to trade up
Nelson?
I’m not a huge fan of trading 2nd rd picks but if it’s for a prospect you really like and have a vision for, and believe he makes your team better, go for it. Getting McMillan back is kind of like having a 2nd rd pick because we didn’t have him last year.
The schedule comes out tonight, right? That means tomorrow it’s time to start picking the Fest date. Not that it’s important or anything . . . lol
I’m In.
WTG Rock, missed ya last year
Tim – No, I wouldn’t trade up for Nelson. I do think he’ll be a lot like Steve Hutchinson, but We need our picks. Take the best player at #11, then get that damn TE!
We have needed a flippin TE for so long, I am only half kidding when I say I’d trade the entire draft for a guaranteed stud at TE.
It’s like the Browns with a QB. They’ve been near #1 almost every year, and they STILL don’t have a friggin QB. I pray we get out stud TE this year, it has to happen
So true. And it’s never a good thing when your team can be compared to the Browns on any level. 🙂
Fingers crossed we get it taken care of!
I still occasionally vote for the Jet’s game on the poll that is still up from last year.
There are 32 votes for last year’s poll now, though I didn’t come last year, I’m pretty sure 32 didn’t come. (or even the 21 that voted for the jet’s game)
So during the break the Dolphins made a pick. But what will the Patriots do? Let’s all put our knee pads on and gobble gobble.
How appropraite that my post below followed this one lol…..
Discussing turkeys are off limits? LOL
I just came back from my annual sexual harassment traning class and i would like to say….this board…..is not safe.
before you finished the statement I thought you were going to say something like….Man there were a lot of really hot women there.

I see you learned nothing in that class😶
D, did they go over that it is not ok to grab a woman by her pussy?
They said its ok as long as they are the kind thats cool with it. Its only sexual harassment if they dont like it.
Do you have attention deficit disorder?
Tannenbaum and Grier are live and Grier said TE is a deep group and so is LB especially mid and late rounds.
He also said BPA for them is based on the Dolphins roster, not what others say it is.
Just so long as they get us some good players at both TE & LB.
Don’t give me this “deep” shit. Get me a probowl type player at one or both positions!
Well he was asked about those positions.

MIke E — “time to start picking the Fest date” is right on target. Hopefully we can at least sort out what the possible dates are before the draft and then take it from there soon after. We already have a deposit down, but you that just gets you on the list for a given game once you know which game it is.
I’m in for 2 for sure, hoping to make it 3
Normally with all involved only two or three are even possible for the Fest….or are you talking about your own empty nest travel plans? That would be most cool.

Thats actually really cool. Id like to see that pass first hand as well. Ill put it on my bucket list.
It was tucked into the mountain, but really not much to see, but still cool. Best trip we’ve done, others include all 50 states, med cruise.
I wonder if Fumgalli would get it if you ran and leaped on his back screaming MY PRECIOUS!!! or if he would just kick the shit out of you.
probably the latter. LOL
He’s a big kid, I wouldn’t want to test it.
My boss has the worst ADD possible. You can’t write him an e-mail with multiple subjects in it. you have to break it up into each subject and then sometimes even break up the subject into several e-mails. If you are talking to him he will just drift off of start looking at his phone.
you can hear SQUIRREL!! being yelled throughout my office at any given time. it is a running joke.
His nickname since high school has been Rocky and everyone calls him Rocky. He thought we were referring to Rocky the flying squirrel and I had to break it to him (well, I didn’t HAVE to break it to him, I wanted to be the one who did, LOL) that he is like a dog with his attention span and the squirrel is just the distraction.
Then everyone in my office has it too. You send an email with 3 questions in it, and lucky to get one answered.
Exactly! He will read and answer the first. Then you will see him and say hey, you never answered my question and he’ll be like you never asked me that. Ummm yeah, I asked you x, y & Z and you only answered X
now if we are all sitting in a meeting and we hear his phone get a text or an e-mail it is guaranteed that someone will “yell” squirrel. He is conscious of it now, but can’t help himself. Squirrel, squirrel squirrel!! he still needs to read the e-mail that just came in.
Stanger – I was talking about 3 people, trying to get Brian to come along, I know he would have a great time. He loves to drink, and that’s basically what we do there the majority of the time. 🙂
Will he have the molly?
I think I’d be more likely to have it than he would, but he’s a pretty damn good drinker.
Good call to someone on here. Giants interested in Dez😜
Brandon Schleprock Marshall

The Dolphins would need to send the Broncos at least its second round pick (No. 42) to make a deal with Denver to move up from 11 to 5. Trust me, this is being discussed.

would you give them #11, juwaun james and a 4th for the move up?
Only if we get Nelson.
theres no doubt denver wants james
Also mando says Bears game is 10/14

10/14 Bears
10/21 Lions
We might get more than a few choices
The Jets are the first weekend in November
I prefer October if possible
I usually spend time with the family the closer it get to the holidays
i like the schedule, we play the tougher out of division games at home.
I want us to have a good season so Son can be happy again. 🙂
I have the blues bad right now. Got to pay my dues some how. Will a matchbox hold my clothes?
Good one.
Lions would be cool.
If we trade up its going to be for a QB, but if we did trade James, i expect we would also go OL in the second, if Trading James prevented the loss of that pick. I think anything we do though is going to include a next years 1st. I dont see getting out of that range.
Leverage, especially if we wait until drat day to make the deal would probably cost us swap of 1st, a next years 1st and James, but probably would keep us from having to give up anything additional. In the second we could probably get Isaiah Wynn who could play RT, or he could play OG and backup at OC, and kick Davis out to RT. There are some other pretty solid RT prospects to be had in the 2nd too and 3rd too.
I’m not so sure about that. The QBs aren’t even the best prospects in this draft.
Tim i like nElson a lot, and i agree with you, he is probably my top big board guy, with Barkley being a very close second, BUT if they trade i do not see if being for either Barkley or Nelson. Its going to be for a QB.
Definitely don’t trade up for anything but a QB. Nelson should end up being a good player, but a guard….yes, I said it….just isn’t worth giving up multiple high picks to get….no matter how good he is.
Except when DTs don’t get to your QB and there are canyons for the backs to run through. 🙂
