The author has decided to take a different approach this week. It is, after all, Thanksgiving Week, and I’ve decided to look for things to be thankful for. First off, our record is actually 5-5, and that’s not a bad place to be. It’s been an odd year in the NFL, with a handful of good to elite teams in each conference, followed by a lot of average to poor teams. The Chiefs (9-2), Steelers (7-2-1) and Texans (7-3) lead their divisions, but the Chiefs are the only team that is being challenged within their division, as the LA Chargers are in 2nd at (7-3). Every other division leader is followed by a .500 team. We’re one of em, as we trail the Patriots (7-3). So there’s hope, right?
On paper this could be a tough matchup for us. The Colts are flying high, and Andrew Luck is looking more like the Andrew Luck of old. The Colts are putting up points, lots of them, scoring 29.8PPG. That’s good for 5th in the NFL. After 10 games, Luck already has 29 TD’s, and even more impressive, only 9 INT’s. Impressive, considering he’s thrown the ball 400 times already. The good news is, if there’s one thing we do well, it’s take the ball away on defense, especially in the passing game. In fact, which team is #1 in INT’s in the NFL? Your very own Miami Dolphins!
The Colts have a running game, but their offense is all about Andrew Luck and the passing game. I hope Frank Reich and OC Nick Sirianni decide to throw all day, I think we can make things difficult for them. The Colts leading receiver is the super fast and diminutive T.Y. Hilton, with 585 yards and 6 TD’s on 38 receptions. Right behind him has been TE Eric Ebron who came over from the Lions has really flourished in Indy. Ebron is having a career year with Luck, 39 receptions for 463 yards and 9 TD’s. Ebron had just 11 TD’s in his first 4 seasons with Detroit.
The Colts running game, like most NFL teams these days, is a 3 headed attack. Marlon Mack, who is finally healthy is the lead back, and he’s spelled by Jordan Wilkins. Nyheim Hines is Luck’s receiving back. While Mack has 471 yards rushing, Hines has 226 yards receiving. Hopefully, we’re able to contain the backs, and although the passing game is where the Colts live and breathe, it’s where I think we can make things tough on them.
The biggest hole in my strategy is our lack of pass rush. That, and the fact that Bobby McCain is questionable. We will once again be forced to employ many different combinations of CB’s and safeties, and Minkah will likely reach a new high in snaps this week. He’s got to be on the field, he’s bar none our best cover guy out there next to Xavien Howard. Minkah has been better than Howard, but I give Howard his due, he’s been very good himself. So Minkah will play LCB, SCB, FS, SS, LB, he probably shouldn’t come off the field unless he’s spent.
So where do we generate a pass rush? Charles Harris is quite questionable, which means that Cam Wake and Robert Quinn are going to get a lot of snaps. Cameron Malveaux is no longer a Dolphin, so depth wise it’s Andre Branch and Jonathan Woodard, unless Harris suits up. Quinn and Wake need to have big days. That’s it folks, if these guys can step it up, and hit Luck early and often, it could lead us to something special, a huge upset of the Colts.
Ryan Tannehill returns this week, and no, he’s not at 100%. He needs to hunger for this. He’s seen the team slip in his absence, he has to want to get in there and right the ship. The good news is that Tunsil and James look to be good to go despite both of them nursing injuries. Larsen is questionable, but Jake Brendel may not be such a bad consolation. It seems like our whole team is questionable for this game, but I think they’ll all play, including Kenyan Drake, and possibly even Devante Parker. I hope Tannehill seizes this day, and makes us a winner. It would be a great story. Maybe after this victory, it leads to more victories, and we have an improbably playoff run. It has to start somewhere, and this is as good a place as any.
So back to Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for the community we have here. I haven’t met all of you here, still working on that, but I have met quite a few. You’re a wonderful bunch, it’s been a pleasure to get know all of you, even the ones I haven’t yet met. I hope you all enjoy this week with family, friends, whoever you spend it with. It’s always been a holiday where I learn to appreciate my family, which keeps on growing. A Dolphins upset win over the Colts would be a great dessert, wouldn’t it?

Oh well …There goes our chance of being blown out in the first round ….
Bookman
We are built for these results
Either we make a big play or we don’t now
But we certainly can’t work the clock with a lead
What is this??!
This is piss poor play calling
WTF?
Why isn’t Gase in concussion protocol?
Lol
There’s another one
What is this??! This is the worst set of plays I could imagine being called.
Play it safe = Play it NOT to lose = LOSE
Ugh!
Okay I am on the fire Gase train
Turn over
Turn over
Turn over!
Yes, some positivity!!!! Imagine that on a Dolphins blog😀
bat,
Well, i didn’t say WHO was gonna have a chance at a game winning drive. Lol
Defence needs a stop now
Or yes a turnover
Gase says he has confidence in Tannehill but his playcalling says different.
Good point there.
Randy …Of course …I should have known ….
If Gase has confidence in Hennehill, that just goes on the ever growing list of reasons he should go.
Well that’s the game
We can’t get the ball back
Grrrr
Gase is hoping to get to OT so he can play for the tie
Who is surprised?
Burn it down.
Block the kick !!!
New Age – Tell it brother! You want your QB back so bad, and then you handcuff him on the last drive your team will touch the ball. Confidence my ass! We all knew the Colts won the game right there, because their HC would never do what OUR HC just did to our QB, hand the other team a victory
Piggy … Not me ..As soon as we went up 10, I knew the offense was going into shut down mode and the defense was assuming the collapse position.
Yep
Another wasted season
Sorry guys. My juice is gone.
Great effort by the team , brain fart on play calling last drive , and Luck lived up to his name evading that sack ..
Fire Gase
wow, what a great game with a shit ending
Team played a very nice game, our HC is a fucking wuss!
Yes
I don’t think it was that playing it safe thing that coaches do
I think this is our offense
Everything or nothing
Trying to hit big plays
If he was a wus he would have run it on the first couple of downs
I didn’t mind trying to be aggressive on that earlier series but the 3rd down play call and what he did on the last series was inexcusable
bad play calling on our last 2 drives
Ken ..Don’t fret ..Gase will have Hennehill for a full season next year ..Then you’ll see …then you’ll all see!
We’ve had a ton of injuries this year
It’s been a tough year facing a lot of things we can’t control
But in spite of those injuries we had 10 point lead late
And witnessed horrible Playcalling again
I’ve had enough of Gase
I don’t know how anyone defends him
bit this game really highlights his shortcomings
That sucked!
COULDN’T AGREE WITH YOU MORE, PIGGY!!!
GARSE has to go!!
Such a very, well fought game by us. Too bad Adam Gase was calling the Offensive plays for us. SMH
the best play calling was on our first drive, the one we had 10 days to prepare for. Gase doesnt think well when the pressure is on, and doesnt make great decisions on the fly
Our defense shit the bed. Be honest and stop trying to blame the HC. We tried to run and got tackled for losses because we can’t run when we have to. Just except it.
“EXCEPT IT”?????
Yes, Tim, “EXCEPT” Garse’s horrid play calling!!
Gase shit calling put the D in a bad position it was a combined effort
WAY TO GO, CASE KEENUM!!! BEATING THE STEALERS*!!!
Who gives a fuck! Seriously?
that was the best 52 minutes of football I have seen all year,, but the last 8,,, sigh
I am going to leave this blog indefinitely. I try hard to cheer for my team, and have fun. I really love many of the people on this blog, it just annoys me that it appears that some are more interested in making snide remarks when things aren’t going right: even when we have the lead! Congratulations, enjoy the rest of the year of stupid draft evaluations. Smh. I need to get back to enjoying games like when I was a kid.
Enjoy the talent evaluation and criticism of the leadership and ownership… I am done with reading that.
Don’t take it so hard Bookman
Just ignore the posts you don’t like
By Tuesday or Wens this blog will be normal…lol
Sorry Piggy, but many here have been talking about the draft for weeks, and then during a game we are winning some, who are never here during the week, almost show up to gloat! It just gets old.
I hate the stuff when people show up after the loss to say “I told you so”as well
But that’s just Sunday night…lol
It’snot too early for draft talk IMO
But I’ve always enjoyed the draft
bookman — way it works with some. Was a real good game though except for the ending. Even if hurt…. didn’t get crushed.
I take it we lost?
yea
by 3
Good we covered!
Better than Vegas expected!!!!!!!
The D and ST gave the offense the ball back on several occasions and they did next to nothing with it. This loss is on the offense.
The WORST THING about this game is that BOTH ROSS and GARSE will be back next year, along with T-BOMB and our less than fantastic scouting department.
Thanks for contributing all day….smh
Of course Ross will be back. He owns the team. Nothing anybody can do about that unless they have a few hundred million laying around
I have had enough of this. I am to see if I can drive a spike through my head
Ken … the spikes are in the hall closet, right next to the impaling poles.
Play-calling was terrible the last two drives…or basically the entire fourth quarter. Gase is just a terrible OC and he won’t give up his duties so I’m fine with moving on.
And there goes another one!
I’m glad I was on the road anyway.
I don’t get on the blog for the games anymore! 😦
bat , where is the stretch rack table and pendulum, lol
David ..The rec room … where else?
lol what a game, and what a sour finish, o well, improves our draft position, suck for Luck, worked for Indy
Where are you when they win….. or during the week when we are talking about the next game? I get you are funny, but it is kind of annoying to me that you only show up to talk negatively
Right and when Drake scored on a screen it was all awesome! Play calls are only bad when they don’t work. We can’t run when we have too!!!!! Except it!!! The defense lost this game. I’m a defense guy. We got shredded when it mattered.
TIM: OPEN a dictionary and carefully study the definition of “EXCEPT” and “ACCEPT.”
Really OD? That is what you got from that?
See below
I really think the big Drake play is part of the problem
We will always hit a few big plays here and there
But it would be nice to sustain a drive
And I think that would help the D too
Ooops! I meant accept it. LOL
Gase makes some strange decisions, but I also don’t think we have enough good players either. I don’t think a better coach gets this team to a much better record. There’s some development and building to do.
Ken
I don’t think with a 10point lead and in the first series you play that aggressive
The things you want to avoid there are turnovers and taking no time off the clock
We didn’t have TOBut taking 25 secs off the clock is one of the worst things we can do
Being aggressive on offense is great
But the on,y thing Gase designs our offense for is to be aggressive and try to make big plays
Before we concede on 3rd down and run it or throw a screen
The 3rd down calls are just concessions bc we don’t get anything on the first 2 downs
That’s the Gase vision
Trying to get big plays early
Then avoiding turnovers on 3rd and long
It’s why we have so m ay 3 and outs
That’s why I don’t care about the QB or the injuries right now
Even if we were healthy and had better players – I think this is his design
Trying big plays on early downs
No matter what the situation is
Tim ..D folded when it counted, as usual, but the offense had two chances to put the game away and failed miserably ..Team loss ..Our Miami Dolphins “Sharing the Suck”
I’m about done with BOTH Tannehill and Gase. Tannehill “miracled” a pass to Carroo (which we saw on the flip-side, Reshad should have INTed from Luck), and most of Tanny’s yardage came from that one “miracle” throw. Still can’t believe Gase or Tanny had the balls to try to throw it that deep in the predictable “dink-and-dunk” that Gase runs.
Our Defense did it’s job today, including 2 consecutive passes from Luck INTed (both by Xavien!!!), and Luck was sacked by MR. Wake today for the first time in Luck’s 6 past games (and one sack by Quinn, nullified by penalty).
I CALLED nearly every play called by Gase after halftime. That doesn’t make me a mind-reader… that makes Gase ALL TOO PREDICTABLE.
Gase lost this game for us.
we have so many three and outs because the guy that got a whopping 220 first downs and a NFL record amount of receptions first four years isnt here.
thats 55 first downs we wont be getting this season, and someone else has to pick up the slack , but arent doing it
That’s not why
It happened last year too
its part of it, and injuries are part of it, and gase is part of it, it all adds up to losses, and Wilson and AMendola together arent half as good as Landry alone
It’s not a part of it
You can’t be more wrong
I liked Landry too
But our offense looked the same last year
Actually the speed we added is the only reason we produced anything in September

————–
Same here, Brother. I don’t EVER get on Twitter during a game (hence my trademark: “Twittering device is… OFF”), and I no longer live tweet here during a game.
Sorry… I no longer live post here during a game.
I was referring to Bookman going!
Maybe we will just have to tweet the Pre-draft stuff as to not offend anyone around here?
Wilson and Amendola arent earning their 14 million imo
Jesus Christmas…give it a fricking rest!
Merry Christmas to You too, lol
Wilson was having an excellent season before he got injured
And Amendola’s stats are real close to Landry’s in their own right. Go figure.
Bat
Before I leave this blog I would like to know why you only come on here when the Dolphins lose?
We made it a game. And looked better with Tanny back, least till the 4th Q.
On a positive note
Drake, Howard, Caroo and Wake all showed up today
dont leave Bookman, just take a break and come back later
Piggy playing Andrew Luck in Indy with a 10 point lead is no gimmie so I don’t mind the idea of being aggressive in that situation. However he was too conservative on the 3rd and the following possession
It was 3rd and long bc of the poor playcalling
I like aggressive playcalling too
But I don’t think that’s the spot
Pick up the first down
Then on the next series try to make a big okay
But you h e to work the clock a little but
You can’t give the ball back 30 secs later
We made it easy for Luck
Jesus….back to Landry? LMAO
Hes really balling in Cleveland…..smh
thats irrelevant, different team, he set a NFL record with Miami , not Cleveland, SMH
Exactly!
not really talking about him, just answering why so many three and outs this year when the guy that gets 220 first downs is gone,
lets talk about WIlson and AMendola, what are they doing for us?
Same thing Landry is doing in Cleveland….but cheaper and no prima donna attitude.
Wilson was easily an upgrade over Landry. So now he got a freak type of injury hes not? Give me a break
That’s same logic in saying how smart Fins are for dumping Ajayi because of his injury.
doesnt change anything what you say, Landry set NFL records in MIami, Wilson and AMendola are invisible, and wont be setting records, gettin first downs, not much of anything for 14 million dollars, enjoy the upgrade, and 1 million saved
ER you Our wasting your breath
LET’S STUDY that “better head coach” issue a bit more. A better coach likely would have won the CINCY game we blew with a 17 point lead in the second half. A better coach also would have won today’s game with better play calling late in the game. Instead of being 5-6 with no realistic shot at the playoffs, we’d be 7-4 with 5 games left (2 with Buffalo and 1 with Jacksonville, which lost today to Buffalo). All 3 of those games would be winnable, leaving us with a great shot at 10-6, WHICH LIKELY WOULD GET US IN THE PLAYOFFS!!
—————–
In my view, the difference between Garse and a better coach is a playoff spot vs. NO PLAYOFF SPOT. A GOOD OWNER would see that immediately. A bad owner would NOT! Since we have a BAD OWNER, I expect Gase, Tannenbaum, Tannehill and a lousy O-Line WILL ALL BE BACK NEXT SEASON.
Bookman ..To me the board presents an opportunity to vent and to rail against those who have disappointed me. When (if ever) we once again have a team that is a serious contender year to year, I will temper my comments accordingly. For now however I will continue to spew venom at those I hold responsible for our colossal failures. It’s cathartic.
POINT very well made, Mr. Bat!
AND any “bad luck” you can send Ross’s way might hasten the changes that need to be made! Like losing several gazillion dollars in a mega real estate deal!
Point NOT taken from Someone who comes on here only one when they lose
Bookman .. Also, my tirades are no reason for you to leave. I am nothing if not predictable and have an easily recognizable logo. Just ignore me. I won’t be insulted …lol
All right everyone
I’m out for the night
Just venting a little bit abiut Gase which I’ve been doing for a while now
Everyone relax
It’s just a game
everyone,s upset, understandably, im taking a break for the evening , later guys
You continue to bring up Landry but now you say its irrelevant? Ok.
Exactly!
Tim,
We ran for 113 yards and averaged 4.5 a run. I completely agree we need to be able to run better, but we ran the ball okay today. You’d like to be able to run it when you need to but that rarely happens with most teams nowadays. I don’t see how this loss was because we couldn’t run. The offense had chances and failed when it mattered, unfortunately.
Same with the D. They both wilted…..
Randy ..”Failing when it matters ” is the trademark of a Gase/Hennehill offense
FUUUUCKKKKKK!!!!! Gase is the stupidest fucking play caller! You have next to no fucking chance to pick up the fucking 1st down with a fucking run on 3rd and 10. Does he not understand PERCENTAGES?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKK!!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK this fucking team and their ridiculously moronic fucking offensive scheme that doesn’t seem to have a pass play in the queue that can travel the 10+ yards needed to pick up a long 3rd down.
Fuck this stupid fucking team that fucking runs it on 3rd and long all game, AND STILL FUCKING DOES IT WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving too.
You certainly have a way with words…uh….word. 😂 I think that sums it up pretty well.
I’ll go back on break, too!!
———————————–
But remember these infamous words:
“Of all the words of woe,
The worst of these,
I told you so!”
We played very well today. The play-calling overall was decent. Defense held Indy better than anyone in a while even with the offense folding for most of the day. My main problems with this team and therefore with Gase and Tannehill is that offense is TERRIBLE. A modern QB should be passing for more than 200 yards and two TDs. Baker Mayfield as a rookie destroyed one of the teams that beat us this year and had 4 TDs doing it. Tannehill has had more than 3 ONCE in his career. SEVEN years and he’s still playing worse than a rookie.
That’s why Gase won’t depend on him in the 4th. That’s why Gase makes terrible calls every fourth quarter. He thinks he’s a great play-caller, but his record and terrible offense for THREE straight years says otherwise. We will never have a top 10 offense with Gase. The NFL is hugely biased towards explosive offenses so we will never be better than a middling 8-8 team with Gase. The only reason we did better the first year was a pie schedule.
I’m more upset than any of you guys and I am going to stay away from the board longest of all…. just you see. Gonna prove I am the best fan there is on FU. 🙂
Mr. Campbell,
Have you noticed as I have, that ever since Joe Philbin left the Colts as their O-Line coach over the last 2 years, that Andrew Luck has been seldom sacked?!! Can’t make this stuff up, my friend.
It’s TRUE! Andrew Luck has been damn near UNTOUCHABLE this year… hence his return to what he used to be, prior to injury and Joe Philbin entering his career.
Steve Ross sure knows how to pick a HC!!! 😆
Losing sucks.
You’d think we’d handle it a little better by now wouldn’t you?
Yes — but sorta of nice how close we made it today. Only problem on my end was how it unfolded. Told me at noon we lose by 3 and I say we did well.

———————-
Hey, back off, dude! Not cool how you always like to pile on. Old Dolfan has a right to his opinion, as do you, Bookman. I’m not trying to diss ya, Bro… I’m just sayin’. And I say this to ya without trying to seem like a d!ck.
It’s alright to have differing opinions! 🙂 That’s all I’m trying to say.
I was talking about Bat….. dont reply to me!!!
No, you replied to Old Dolfan.
I was referring to those that don’t come on here during the week, and only when they lose…. that is NOT OD. I really would prefer you do not reply to me.
M13 — but he clearly was talking about Bat. Not sure I get why it matters who the reply was too.
“Tannehill has had more than 3 ONCE in his career. SEVEN years and he’s still playing worse than a rookie.” Oh no you dint, New Age.
****
“The only reason we did better the first year was a pie schedule.” Oh now you gone and got cray-cray, New Age!!!
****
You best get ready to be called silly, ignorant, stupid and completely without any football smarts! Lol
I feel cray cray after watching this for 7 years….
The D didn’t ‘fold’ in the 4th quarter. They did their job. This is the new league. You have to be able to score in the fucking 4th quarter, because with all things being equal, offense will beat defense every time. The rules are set up that way. Our defense kept the Colts under 30 which is pretty much all you can ask for against high powered offenses nowadays.
And the Landry argument is stupidity at its finest. Talk about moronic, idiotic drivel, and you’ll find you’re talking about Landry having any impact on this team. Why anybody engages with a jackass that is incapable of argument beyond logical fallacy is beyond me. It’s literally a continuous stream of thoughtless, unfettered layered fallacy upon fallacy with that guy. Might as well argue with a turnip, you’ll get a higher percentage of legitimate points.
I am beside myself with frustration that we ran the ball on 3rd and 10 with 3 minutes left and the game on the line. I still can’t get over it. Unbelievable.
Cheers, Herd. When I am this frustrated, I find myself reverting to my days as a simple vulgarian, incapable of expressing myself in anything less than pure vitriol.
Oh well. Yay, team. Moral victory. Hard fought game. Good effort. Nice try. Almost had ’em. Nearly made it. On the precipice. Fuck off. Out.
“find myself reverting to my days as a simple vulgarian, incapable of expressing myself in anything less than pure vitriol” — that’s some awesome wordsmithing there. Love it. And yeah agree that wasn’t just on the D. A field goal would have helped a lot at the end.
Baker Mayfield threw 4 TD passes to 4 different receivers and none of them were named Landry who only caught 3 passes for 30 yards. He was such a major factor in their big win today. SMFH
CavKong,
MAN…(!)… I pretty much feel the same way you do, Bro!!!
CHEERS, sir!
I’ve gotta say, that the first half of football we saw from our Phins was INCREDIBLE!!! Man, that was GRAND!!!
I don’t want to be so… what’s the word… I guess critical of our efforts today. I mean, WOW(!) was the first half!!!
But sorry… I feel Adam Gase lost the game for us in the second half. Too cautious, too predictable, too “dink-n-dunk”.
Bookman, didn’t know draft talk annoyed you, my apologies. I will try not to talk so much about football on this blog and bring up politics instead.
However, I do much agree with you on those who are absent all week only to show up and bitch after a loss as in a “I told you so” way. That is annoying.
Just to let you know, if we were 11-0, I would still be talking about the draft during the week. It’s something myself and a few others like to do.
Really no issue with the draft talk, i just skip over it. Just trying to bring positivity in talking about the actual game…lol. Just my way of being a fan. Lol. Thanks for the comments on the other point though, I appreciate that
I believe Bookman had an issue with OD for calling Tim out on the accept/except thing which I agree is being petty. His other comments about showing up on the blog only after games we lose was directed at Bat. That’s how I read it.
Thank you
People who think they are positive fans do a whole lot of “I told you so.” too when they think they’re right, so let’s not go down that road. It goes both ways.
Yes, but it bugs the shit out of us who don’t want to face reality. 🙂

—————–
The gentleman who would not like me to reply to him CLEARLY replied to our guy Old Dolfan. What’s more, anyone who knows Bat, CLEARLY knows he doesn’t like the reply button.
Furthermore, I don’t recall Old Dolfan coming on the blog, so as to rejoice in the victory of Steve Ross, Adam Gase, and their little band of losing coordinators… it was a back-handed diss to our guy Old Dolfan without addressing him.
Ya can’t spin it, Mr. Stanger. I see ya tryin’, but that’s a huge fail on your part… well, at least IMO.
Haters gotta hate… NOT COOL.
I thought clear Bookman was talking about Bat. Bookman said he was talking about Bat. But hey — clearly you think we are both wrong and something else was up. I’m cool going with your version if it helps you. Stuff like that doesn’t matter much to me.
I just think that personal pot-shots should be avoided, that’s all. Why should any individual make it their mission to DESTROY another’s opinion… as a fellow fan?!! RIGHT?!!
And that is a fine opinion to have. Just not sure how it fits into the stream of convo.
Do you actually realize that you contribute to most of the drama here? Your comments make no sense. I am sad to leave here after tonight, mostly because you are part of the problem for me. You have caused so many issues here, then act like you are a peace maker, or everyone’s “brother”. Give me a break!
Come’on you joyboy. Big old board with lots of folks. Only one Mr. Heyman, the gym teacher and weggie fan.
I love this place after a game. I say game because W or L its usually the same. LOL
I’ve got no problem with people venting here. It’s cathartic. You can’t keep that anger and rage in. It’s not good for you, gives you wrinkles. Different people handle it different ways. It’s well known on here I start cleaning things while I’m watching and muttering things at the tv. Other people vent on here. Some drink. Some yell. All sorts of things l imagine. It just helps to let off steam. Look at it that way.
One thing for sure. Nothing we say here changes a thing about the team.

Shouldn’t adults act like adults?
Why yes they should……which was my point. Not sure what you don’t get.
Everything?
No need to leave Bookman. The “I told you so” crowd and the their suck up are annoying, but…hey…fuck’em. They have shitty lives and nothing to celebrate. They’re not really fans, just blowhards looking for validation. Except for the socialists. They’re just dumbasses.
It is curious how the walk off thing is big here. Never saw that on any of my rugby teams, but then did that and it would have been real hard to come back after with any kind of street cred (maybe why folks never did).
Rugby players can smack each other in the mouth when someone starts talking nonsense. Here you just have to live with the goofy fucks and blowhards.
Phelon — we were serious knuckleheads, Just in different ways I guess. But then we saw each other two practices and a game each week too….. makes a difference.
Losing brings out the ugly. Hug your kids. Play with your dog. Go catch snowflakes on your tongue or walk on the beach and be happy.
kick your cat
Valiant effort by the players today. It’s just too bad the team doesn’t have a chance to compete for the playoffs every year like they should because they aren’t being given that chance. And, like M said earlier, if not for that pass to Carroo where Carroo made a nice play on the ball, Tannehill only has 131 yds passing and 1 td. That’s not going to give you what you need when you are trying to compete for the playoffs every year. You don’t want to live or die by getting lucky on a hail mary pass
Tanny was 17/25 with a 119.4 QB rating. And yeah he got lucky on that one pass, but same time stuff like that happens. Looked better than Brock.
again, 131 yds passing isn’t getting it done. I don’t care what his qb rating was. you ain’t winning when you’re #1 qb is passing for 131 yds.
whether or not Tannehill may have “looked” better than Brock doesn’t matter. what matters is the team isn’t winning consistently with either and it’s time to move on. it’s been time to move on for years now. I just don’t understand the mentality of people who think Tannehill gives this team a better chance to win. Than what? Or whom? It’s not enough. move on. put it behind us and get a real frickin quarterback in already and put us out of his misery.
He didn’t have 130 he had a measly 205 which might as well be 130.
again, he had 131 yds passing if not for the great play on the ball by Carroo. if that pass was to Parker it was probably an incompletion and then you’re looking at 131 yds passing and 1 td. he got lucky. it wasn’t a good pass. he just threw it up there and it was underthrown and Carroo made a great play on the ball.
Proflou — completely got what you were saying, just added some thoughts to your comment. Did you disagree with “Looked better than Brock” or was I suppose to tell you were right instead of just talking about what you said?
Only 4 scoring drives, 5 or 6 is what it takes, we just don’t score enough. One more touchdown which would have been the elusive fifth score would have done it.
It’s always “shoulda, coulda, woulda” with this team. they have the skill players but they don’t have the qb and they don’t have the coaches who understand how to utilize their skill players.
Look at what Payton did in New Orleans with backups at wr and te in their last game. Brees actually lobbied for the one wr to be brought up from the PS. That’s a team and coaching staff that knows how to utilize the talent they’ve got. We keep shitting on the wrong people. There’s a lot of talent on the offense but the coaches on the offensive side suck at what they do.
Lou, that’s just Gase’s crappy offensive scheme, IMO, more than it is an issue with Tannehill. TBH, he played better today than I thought he would. If Oz played instead, we would not have even had a 4th lead.
I don’t understand what anyone thinks they saw from Tannehill. Again, he got lucky on that pass to Carroo. So, if Carroo doesn’t catch that pass like he did, Tannehill throws for 131 yds and 1 td. What exactly was so great about his performance today? What makes anyone think he looked so much better than Osweiler? I understand Oz missed a few deep passes when he played but, seriously, Tannehill’s two td’s came on a bubble screen to Drake who had a very nice run to get it in and, Carroo, who made an excellent play on the ball to take it away from the db and take it in. Otherwise, Tannehill may not even have either td.
But, I do agree with you about Gase’s crappy offensive scheme and when you look at what it looked like in CHI I really don’t know what anyone was expecting. How can anyone expect anything else? THAT was Gase. Denver was NOT Gase. Denver was Manning.
Got the monkey off our back with the opening score
Won the turnover battle
Sacked Luck for the first time in forever
Blocked a punt
Blocked a kick
Won time of possession (I think so)
Lost the game
Lost the 4th Q. Looked good up until then.

Why yes they should……which was my point. Not sure what you don’t get.

Better coach your cats to be a little bit more than disrespectful, boss. I come here for the football convo… not to be outright DISRESPECTED by taunts, drama, playing the victim card, and “I told ya so” BS.
I do NOT taunt, I do NOT bring drama, and I’ve NEVER said “I told ya so”. I’m VERY careful about the latter, knowing full well that one year doesn’t define a player.
If I have been disrespectful to you then please point out when and will answer. You and I are just two of many posters on this board. Have a problem with what anyone else says bring it up with them. And yes I also feel free to comment on such when it comes up, as should you. I’m not even an admin M13.
Hey ProLou,
I saw you on the dolphin’s facebook posts the other day.
I don’t have a facebook account
then who was posting your words verbatim and has the same profile pics?
