Clearly Robert Pattinson turned her to girls.

Bye week. Bye players, bye wins, bye respectability, bye competitiveness. here we sit with four games played and the Dolphins are the joke of the league. Scoring a measly 26 points while giving up an astonishing 163 points in the four games. To put that in perspective the next closest team to the Dolphins is the Redskins at 118 points, wow.

So we have draft picks, cap space and hope and that’s about it.  Well we have Xavien Howard too, but who else is honestly safe going forward. Who do we have to build on? The O-line is once again a MASH unit although Michael Dietermaxresdefault appears to be a piece to build on. Son is intrigued by Evan Boehm. Good luck naming another absolute building block for the offense. Who else on the Defense then? Wilkins of course along with Baker and McMillan. Five building blocks for the future with two of them being rookies. We have plenty of guys who show potential but so far that’s all it is. So with 12 games left in a season that’s been pushed aside already, which guys are in for the long haul? Which guys can become building blocks going forward, face it there will be upwards of 35 jobs up for grabs next off season. We have tons of cap space and tons of draft picks.

Hope. Y’all are lifers just like me. As fans all we can do and have is hope, Hope Rosen works out. Hope trading Tunsil doesn’t bite our ass. Hope setting up an environment where a Minkah Fitzpatrick demands a trade is ok. 61xxnc6hhnl._sx425_Hope letting so many vets walk instead of building on them is alright. Hope Grier and his staff can put together an amazing draft. Hope Coach Flores and his staff can walk the walk and deliver on a system that works, that players buy into and take responsibility for. Hope we see some playoff games as we continue to age. Hope a once proud franchise can get back to being respected and feared.  Hope the next 12 games offer some glimmer of light and expectation. Hope Mostly that Grier doesn’t fuck this up as bad as Ireland did.

“You’re not confused if you’re bisexual. It’s not confusing at all. For me, it’s quite the opposite.” _Kristen Stewart

I’ve yet to have a game broadcast local so I’ve been to the bars to watch the games. Its tough to really focus and the looks I get would ordinarily piss me off but there’s nothing I can say or do when we’re down by 20 or more and it’s ugly. Dolphin gear on that I can’t get home fast enough to tear off.  I’m doing my part in an ugly situation, I’m being a loyal fan, I pretend to smile when I say “but wait til next year”, yada yada bullshit. Where’s the girl?

092a33140dbab65e079141967d63a14d

Ahhh!

Hope Y’all, hope

Attempts to contact Ms, Stewart have not been answered (imagine that) but our sincere gratitude and congratulations go out to this years winner.

DO you get the impression that Adam Gase is Miami’s OC???
    —————————–
NOTICE the stands more than half empty??? Since this game is a sell-out, this means more than 30,000 people who bought tickets decided NOT TO SHOW UP!!!
    —————————–
WELL I picked Miami to win 20-13 and took the UNDER (the O/U for this game was 42). The most disappointing thing for me was the god-awful performance of this joke of an offensive line for Miami.
FOR SO MANY YEARS many of us have begged Ross to shore-up the O-Line. SO he sends our best O-Line guy to Houston. So we can get an inferior O-Lineman in the draft???

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Ross doesn’t pick players. You really hate the guy to the point you’re now treating him like the GM. Do you not know that we’re rebuilding and this is year one of doing it?

      • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

TIM: ROSS does have the authority to tell his staff to “get me the BEST QB available (and he did exactly that when they took Tannehill) or “get me a really good O-Lineman) ” which he did when Tunsil fell to Miami. I DO BELIEVE many owners have told their player personnel people to fill a specific position over the years prior to the draft. Certainly, if I worked for an owner who said “Get me the best available QB,” I’d do it (and they did)!

BTW–your statement that I “hate the guy” is an outright LIE. I dislike the direction he’s taking this franchise with his inept selections for HC, GM and head of player personnel. But I do NOT hate this guy personally–JUST HIS CHOICES for people he picks to run his team.
IF you can’t tell the difference then I feel sorry for you. Tell the TRUTH, Tim!! And whetner you’ll admit it or not, Ross is presiding over the worst 10 year era in franchise history and SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for his failures. The concept that Ross bears NO RESPONSIBILITY for the people he’s personally approved to run his team just doesn’t cut it in the real business world.

  15. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Not able to watch games. Is Rosen playing as bad as his stats show?

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

He hasn’t been good but our OL is really struggling and I think our WRs and even Drake are not playing with enough purpose. The entire team coaches and players are trying to figure this out but we all know the situation we’re in.

  16. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    Come on Chiefs! Dammit man

  17. Dloxahatchee's avatar dloxahatchee says:

    Tough spot,

  18. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

OD, you tell the truth, do you know that we hit the reset button or not? You keep acting like we were suppose to be good this year and we’re failing. This is exactly what everyone thought we would be. Why are you still questioning anything? We are in full rebuild mode. Like the Marlins.

    • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

ACTUALLY, TIM, what’s really is that Ross’s hires have destroyed the on field play of a once-great franchise. THAT’s THE TRUTH. Good owners don’t have to produce a 1-15 record to strengthen their rosters. They draft intelligently, filling holes, adding good people along the way. “Rebuild Mode” for successful franchises does NOT mean destroying the roster. When was the last time the Packers were 1-15?? How many 1-15 seasons have the Pats had in the last 25 years? I COULD mention many more franchises, but most football fans know that RESET does not necessarily mean a team as bad as this one!! Indeed “RESET” does not come close to correctly describing this team. “POSSIBLY THE WORST TEAM IN NFL HISTORY” is a bit closer to the truth. But, then THE TRUTH is an alien concept to those looking to make excuses for the 2019 season BEING THIS BAD. THEY PREFER TO SAY “it’s NOT Ross’s fault because he didn’t pick the players.”

WRONG TIM. ROSS PICKED THE TEAM LEADERS WHO PICKED THE PLAYERS!
THAT’s the TRUTH!! –And, no, I don’t hate YOU, either. I’m just concerned that you believe this organization’s owner should get a free pass for overseeing this mess.

ONE LAST TIDBIT. When Don Shula hit the RESET BUTTON, he had a 6-10 or 7-9 year. AND in 1970, his FIRST YEAR as head coach, he took a 1969 team that won 3 games and RESET them into a 10-4 team that narrowly lost in the playoffs to Oakland.
      THAT’s THE TRUTH!!

NONETHELESS, it was a gutty comeback led by the Bearded One. KUDOS to Fitzpatrick, the ONLY Fitzpatrick now on the roster.

  38. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I have to admit, not kicking the XPT there and running that play was a tank play. We competed and accomplished what we wanted to do but didn’t want give the Skins the edge in the draft. We kind of won both ways. We’re not going anywhere this year.
