Ryan Fitzpatrick
Josh Rosen
Jake Rudock
So there you have it. 15 year veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick who is clearly the #1 choice as the starter at the moment, followed by 2 year veteran Josh Rosen who has played in all of 20 games starting 16 and doing so with a record of 3-13. Of course that record must be taken in context as he was playing for an awful team in Arizona for a HC that was fired after just one season. Jake Rudock was signed to a 1YR deal for $600K and he rounds out the depth chart.
Fitzpatrick had an uneven season, sitting behind Josh Rosen until the Fest game where Rosen was pulled and Fitzpatrick took over the reins for the rest of the season as the starter. He finished really strong, developing a strong relationship with WR DeVante Parker, who really grew in leaps in bound last season. I don’t want to ruin the upcoming WR article but the duo of Fitzpatrick and Parker from game #10-#16 totaled 39 receptions for 733 yards for a crazy 18.7 YPC and 5 TD’s. That’s a season for some guys right there. Mike Gesicki also had a very nice season and Fitzpatrick had a lot to do with that as well.
What to do with Josh Rosen? The best answer is probably nothing right now as his value couldn’t really be diminished any more than it already has so we just have to hope he has better things to show us. He needs to show a lot of improvement in camp and in the preseason and let him continue to build on that. There shouldn’t be any pressure for him regarding the starting job because if Ryan Fitzpatrick is healthy, he’s the QB, there is no uncertainty there. Of course if Rosen played out of his mind he may force a different outcome but no one really expects that to happen.
There are so many different ways to view the draft and the QB’S that may be available to us. My preference is to stay where we are and let the players fall as they will. I don’t want to trade multiple picks to get Burrow and I’d rather not trade multiple picks to get Tua, although the value to potentially get to #3 with Detroit shouldn’t cost more than our #5 and and our #39 pick. I could tolerate that, but the more I consider Justin Herbert or Jordan Love or even Jacob Eason or Jalen Hurts later on, as long as we have a solid foundation after free agency and the draft, I’d feel fine with any of those guys knowing none of them have the pressure to start this season. We can develop them and see what we’ve got and still be able to draft a QB next season providing we don’t trade away any future draft capital.
I’m excited for the draft, even if no one is there live, that doesn’t matter to me. All I care about is WHO we draft, not whether they hug the commissioner. It’s possible due to COVID-19 that free agency will be postponed, because part of the process is meeting team’s staffs and also checking out the neighborhoods, schools etc. If travel is limited or shut down completely, all that stuff can’t happen. I suppose they could do video conferencing but it can’t be the same as meeting a guy in person and of course seeing the sites around town and feeling the lifestyle of sunny Florida. I’m open to taking a QB early and I’m even more open to taking one later after we got some top OL and defensive players and maybe a RB. Next up is WR’s followed by TE’s.
GO DOLPHINS!!

Randy — thanks but was probably a whole lot more crazy than an athlete. Less serious injuries in rugby though, even if maybe more lesser ones. Less high speed impacts cause no blocking allowed and in football the helmet becomes a weapon. Most common severe injury in rugby is a broken collarbone….. guess those pads help sometimes.
wow the grocery stores here annnounced closing @ 8pm due to customer frenzy.
was just there, no tuna, no canned soup, no shopping carts.
no hand sanitizer, no masks since about 2 weeks ago.
Ken,
It reminds me of how we used to play football in the backyard or at recess, but we weren’t huge men. We used to knock the crap out of each other sometimes though. My brother got his knee torn to shreds one time. I bruised my tailbone so bad it hurt for a year playing before school one day. Our fullback. 6’ 2” 230-50 probably…..way bigger than me….just nailed me. Knocked me on my ass so hard I bounced. Lol
stanger,
I’ve broken my collarbone, and it sucks. I give any guy who plays rugby their props. It doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad you’re still gonna get hit. All competition is not the same. Everything changes when you may get hit in the face. Lol
Seen a bunch of collarbones…. you always knew what was going on by how the one arm held the other.
Every team was on had “the doc.” Which is just a guy who knows more than the rest of us. Can’t tell you how many times saw them run over and pop a finger from 90 degrees back to straight….. and then the game started again.
Never played rugby but played city games like “Johnny on the Pony”, “Bulldog” and of course pick up tackle football games. I think Bulldog was the most violent game of all of them. Anyone play that game?
Done some tackle pick up football, but you would have been awesome at rugby. Fit and with jets. Wing or fullback…. and they are the ones who score. 🙂
I don’t know about that. I was much better at tackling than getting tackled. When I was a kid I was a skinny runt. I’m a little bigger now, but still a guy who weighs 200 lbs or more would probably knock me into tomorrow
You’d be the open field guy. Best guy on my college team was like 5-7 and a 155 (think Grant). And man was he good. And yeah if that 200 pound caught you would you have been crushed….. but not where you would have playing.
I hope Rivera does draft Tua but think that is a media driven smoke screen. He’s a defense guy. It will be Young, Brown or Simmons.
I don’t know…Haskins is epic bad. Hard to pass on a Tua if you QB is that bad.
Played organized Rugby when I was stationed in Okinawa the first time. Our Marine team would play against the local Japanese college team. They had perfect technique, but we always won because we had behemoths. I was one of the smaller guys at 6’3″ 185-ish. They always held there own drinking afterwards tho.
What position you play? One of my old scrum halfs played for the Marine team in the all armed-forces tourney. One seriously crazy dude. But guess when you’ve been a jarine…..
Some second row because I was tall, some wing cause i was fast, and occasionally hooker because I had long legs.
If you were playing hooker you must have had real big props. Each position is different. Played long enough that did every one of them…… but a whole bunch like hooker only in an emergency situation.
Like I said – behemoths. And only hooker in an emergency.
Never broke a collarbone, but i did dislocate a shoulder.
5 Derrick Brown, IDL Auburn
18 Andrew Thomas, OT Georgia
26 Xavier McKinney, S Alabama
39 Zack Baun, EDGE Wisconsin
56 Jonathan Taylor, RB Wisconsin
70 Prince Tega Wanogho, OT Auburn
141 Devin Duvernay, WR Texas
153 Josiah Deguara, TE Cincinnati
154 Jabari Zuniga, EDGE Florida
173 Ke’Shawn Vaughn, RB Vanderbilt
185 Reggie Robinson II, CB Tulsa
227 Darryl Williams, IOL Mississippi State
246 Jon Runyan, OT Michigan
251 Cole McDonald, QB Hawaii
I may have to splurge and get the premium package. I so want to be able to trade up from 141. Missing out on a lot of talent there between #70 and #141.
I’m okay if they build a powerhouse defense and a mediocre offense to start.
Actually with you on that other than have to build the O-line. Don’t see anyway around that part.
Yeah, building the O-Line would probably make them a mediocre offense.

Former #Titans and #Eagles G Chance Warmack is aiming at a comeback after sitting out last season. The former first-round pick, who turns 29 in September, has visits lined up with teams once facilities reopen. Has hired a new agent in Ron Slavin of @SPORTSTARSNYC.
Hard to believe that washington would threaten to draft Tua as a smoke screen to get Miami or whomever to move up to two, if they want Tua then no one will be able to deny them and if they are willing to trade back then they didn’t want Tua in the first place.
Exactly right. If they want him they take him. Why would they trade out if they really want that player?
Exactly!
Phelon – You’re a hooker? I thought I was doing great with you!
Hmmm… which position? LOL
Cash is cash
Nobody even knows if Miami wants Tua. That’s been media driven for over a year now. Maybe Cincy drafts Tua over Burrow and freaks everyone out. LOL
Fingers crossed. LOL
Anybody on Wuhan Flu lockdown yet?
Ken and his wife are under self -quarantine.
Starved for Fins news I listened to Xs and Omar this morning, it wasn’t half bad. Hyde keeps O in check everytime he said something ridiculous, which was early and often.
Hyde always reins in Omar with his giggly shit. That’s why Hyde wins awards and Omar is mediocre.
Jacob Eason could be the sleeper QB in this draft. He doesn’t have to play right away. But you can’t teach 6-6 230 with a cannon arm.
Can’t argue there. D, might have some insight on him. I think there were some commitment concerns with him after his injury at UGA. Not sure but I think D has more scoop on him.
I don’t know everything about him but he’s 22 years old. The physical skill is there. It always comes down to the other intangibles. Is he a leader, mentally and physically tough, and smart?

Veteran NT Darius Kilgo should be medically cleared soon after missing last season with a quadriceps injury, source said. The #Lions aren’t re-signing him, so the onetime #Broncos draft pick will hit the market.
Went to the grocery store today. Would have thought a hurricane was coming….. no milk. Far as I know fridge will keep running and the stores will stay open.
Costco was limiting people in the store, the line was around half the building. I took one look and kept driving. A lady was pushing a cart in the road in front of me, I waited a bit, but she wouldn’t move, so I beeped and she looked back like I was in the wrong.
I’m not getting the panic. If I run out of food and the stores are out, guess I will go fishing or go to my hunt camp and shoot something. Sorry Piggy but wild hogs are in season year round.
Its psychological, people feel out of control, stocking up makes them feel back in control and smart.
Just watched Eason vs Oregon and Cal, both losses, but he looks good. He looks like what I expected Herbert to look like.
So what’s wrong with him, I mean why is he rated so low?
I can’t put my finger on it but think D can. I think he said there was something wishy washy about him. I don’t know. Maybe I should just shut up. LOL
Now I see what’s wrong with him, he doesn’t win. Just watch a 3rd game tape against Utah.
Just watched a breakdown film and the guy calls him the most pro ready, and I agree. He makes it look easy, but his receivers suck, lots of drops.
Actually, I am going surf fishing for pompano Monday. They are starting to run. Going to be partly cloudy 80 degrees (77 at beaches) winds only 3 to 5 mph. I should be able to put some meat in the freezer.
I love pompano. used to catch them back up in Charleston … also bluefish. Both delicious.
1a. (5) LB Isaiah Simmons
1b. (18) Edge K’Lavon Chaisson
1c. (26) OT Austin Jackson
2a. (39) QB Jacob Eason
2b. (56) RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Would you be cool with this draft in the top two rounds?
I’d love that draft.
But if Eason is there in the 2nd someone is trading up. I would take him with 1C.
Very possible with Eason. I think he might be the Jimmy Garoppolo QB in this draft. Are all the recent 1st round pick QBs any better? I don’t see it! But 1c. could be the pick for Eason and now the Miami media has to re-calculate. LOL
WV…. we’re last in everything! 😂
https://images.app.goo.gl/khadm3a1GBz6Hnpe6
I’d be Ok with Tua at 5, but maybe better to take Simmons. Tua’s health scares me. He’s been hurt every year going back to HS.
Stay at 5 and just take the great player that falls into our lap.
Agreed. Grier, Flores and the rest involved will evaluate and debate. Draft the best players. We have unlimited needs.
UFC Fight Night, the only game in town.
That’s an awesome keep your distance sport. LOL
You want to fix the OL, draft Wills at 5 then trade up and take Wirfs in the top 10. …or vice versa. Also sign Thuney and Glasgow in FA. LOL 😉
L’Lavon is a heady player, but doesn’t have a good repertoire of pass rushing moves. Don’t ever see him getting 10 sacks in a season. I see Baker as a much better pass rusher.
I do though think he’s a Flores type of player, but can’t see him being an All Pro, he might sniff a PB.
I read 4 reviews on Eason. They all had the same knock on him. His best trait, of course, was his cannon arm. All 4 said his worse trait was going though progressions and go on to say he will follow his first read and even try to force the ball in. Though, one did note that the reason he does force the ball sometimes is cause he has so much confidence in his arm. He had many reps where he went with the incomplete ball instead of trying to go through his progressions and/or look for his check down. Also, two of them said he mainly only has a fastball delivery and lacks touch on shorter passes where he needs to take something off. Said he’s a thrower and not a pitcher.
Couldn’t find anything about him being wishy washy so maybe my brain made that up. lol
I read where people said he doesn’t put the work in and parties too much. They said that’s why a guy with so much talent was beat out by a less talented Fromm and why he didn’t win the Huskies job until right before the season started. I don’t know how true any of that is but he did lose out to Fromm and didn’t win the job until really late at Washington.
I don’t want a lazy dude but I’m sure our people have already checked into him extensively. He has a ton of talent.
Didn’t you guys see the movie Arthur with Dudley Moore?
One usually has to go to a bowling alley to meet someone of the caliber to have seen that movie.
Thanks?
I think??????????
Don’t take it personal….. watch it again though.
Eason has never been a high quality person. Before he went with UGA he saw that the QB situation was going to be a competition so he tried to decommit and go to UF which had a really easy to win the job QB room. He still asked though that they promise him the starting position to get him to commit to them, they wouldn’t, and then he recommited to UGA. After one year as the starter he got hurt the following year, then Fromm took over. He didn’t even try to beat him to get the position back, he instead just entered the transfer protocol. He doesn’t seem to like to have to earn his place, so I consider him kind of a bitch. His talent is undeniable, but you have to wonder how much of a pissy little shit he will be if he doesn’t get his way. I’d compare him to Cutler amazing talent but who knows if they can coach the little shit out if him

I’m by no means saying the two compare however there was that same exact knock on another rookie QB entering the league back in the early 80s, i think he wore #13 for us.
Just saw this too, that’s great news! We’re ascending baby, don’t want to miss out on that!
The League had given the players the moon, ’bout time they made them give something to get something. I believe the 53 man is increased too, that will help make the games better. We may even see players sitting out some weeks against inferior competition, which will make games more competitive.
How can a fan not like this news? 1 more game, and 2 more playoff games, and peace for 10 years. Wildcard weekend is going to be great, like having Thanksgiving games on back to back days.
I thought the Transition tag went away under the new CBA, but I was wrong.
Ya! that’s why I posted it!
i was wrong on several things too!
Any player who is under contract when the new CBA is signed and remains on that contract in a year in which the league plays 17 games will receive a bonus of 1/17th of his salary if he’s on the roster on the date of that 17th game.
So, to make it simple: If your current contract says you’re scheduled to earn $17 million in 2021, and the league expands to 17 game7s that season, you get an extra $1 million as long as you’re on the roster on the date of that 17th game.
Looks like the NFLPA had a math challenged schmuck doing their negotiations. Wouldn’t you think they would make 1/16 more?
Teams might be trying to tag and trade players.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/brandon-scherff-franchise-tag-trade-cost
Same here.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/yannick-ngakoue-franchise-tag-trade-cost
So now there is 17 games?
Starting 2021
Loosing for Lawrence?
F-ing Ravens get a deal for Campbell. SMH
The transition tag didn’t go away, but each team has only 1 tag to use, period. It can be either the franchise tag or the transition tag, but it can only be used on 1 player, not two. Can’t transition tag one player and franchise tag another
Ah…That’s why I thought they did away with one.
Stanger – That’s a great line man. I freaking loved that movie, so many great lines.
I actually have it DVRed right now. Not such a fan of Liza, but then there is Dudley and Sir John….. the movie would not work without either of them.
He’s taking the knife out of the cheese, do you think he wants some cheese?
Do we trade for yannick? Giving up our last 1sr rnd pick to the jags and also pay him a max salary?
It depends if they’re all in on him. I’d say I doubt it. We’ll see how we approach FA once it starts. We may not be looking to sign big contract guys and go bargain hunting for solid players to fill some voids and build through the draft.
Jax is probably looking to resign him long term since they traded Campbell. Look for Jax to target DT’s Brown or Kinlaw at #9.
Ngakoue has said he’s playing somewhere else this year.
https://twitter.com/NealDriscoll/status/1239212027203268608?s=20
Conklin and Thuney come on down to south Florida! Then draft LT Thomas and C/G Ruiz, Cushenberry or Hennessy. Davis to RG. Deiter as one backup. Stout OL!!!!!!!!
$219.6 million?
That can’t be right. Who is Neal Driscoll?
If it came down to it, I would draft Hurts over Eason any day. Hurts’ character is head and shoulders above about all the QB’s in the draft. Also, would be ready to play sooner than Eason. Less to work/improve on. That’s if we passed on Tua, Herbert, Love. I might would take Fromm (Pennington 2.0) over Eason.
I’d take love over all the qbs
I’ll agree with the exception of Burrow.
Logan ryan may be a great acquisition. 4 picks last year. History with Flores
Anthony harris ar safety. Had 6 picks last year
The Titans are re-signing Tannehill. Good for him.
Four years,$118 million, $62 M guaranteed!! Last season Titans had very good O-Line and a stud running back—-two things Miami never had at the same time during Tanny’s years in Miami. Hopefully the “Doofus Brigade” has learned from Tannehill’s situation and will address O-Line and RB positions after settling on our next starting QB.
——————————————-
Me and Mrs OD a bit fatigued after two days with our 3 great grand daughters and their parents. The girls are 5, 9 and 14 and FULL OF ENERGY!!!!! 14 YEAR OLD IS ALREADY 6 feet tall and has my wife’s good looks!! 5 more days of this before they head back to Tennessee!!!
Who is this “Doofus Brigade” you speak of?
Those in charge of our draft picks from day 1 of Ross’s regime. During that time, the Dolphins are 22 games below .500 (99 wins-77 losses and ZERO playoff wins).
Yes, I know, Ross is the greatest to many on this blog!!
Tanny got that much? Maybe the “Doofus Brigade”did make a mistake with him, but what they did almost everyone on this board was in favor of.
I’m glad Tannehill is getting paid and I wish him good fortune. I doubt Tennessee continues this run for long but the extra playoff seed is going to help one team every year. I hope we are that team in one form or another.
I always liked the kid. And always saw the upside. For me it was keep him if Gase goes for it or let him go if we rebuild. And obviously we went with option #2.
I did too. I’m not a huge fan of Gase but Ryan was nothing but a good guy trying to help us win.
OD, Ross doesn’t pick the players. I know fans are always looking for scape goats so being that Grier is the only main personnel guy left I guess it’s all on him even though he never had complete control under his GM title until last year. I happen to think he’s done a fantastic job tearing down a team that wasn’t good enough in one season and putting this team in a position to rebuild it the right way from the ground up with the most cap space and draft capital in the league.
That said, now he has to do it the right way. But it hasn’t happened yet so let’s see if his vision along with Flores is the right way. That’s where we are, the past has nothing to do with today.
But Ross did not take over a team that was good outside of the 2008 season when we went 11-5 and won the division. Ironically enough that was with Parcells overseeing everything in his first full season as team czar. Then things went sour and it wasn’t a good situation. We’ve been stuck in mediocrity and bad since then despite that one season in 2016 where we made the playoffs in Gase’s first year as HC, and then it went sour again.
If this team isn’t a good team in the next couple of seasons then everyone failed and your criticism of Ross is valid.
I think we all have to realize that contracts keep going up and starting QBs aren’t cheap. Tannehill actually got middle of the road starting money. The new bar is going to be about $40M per.
Just curious . . .
Who here is not going to work either by choice or because their workplace is closed?
It’s a tough choice for guys like you who deal with customers and some who apparently haven’t been wiping their asses and washing their hands. LOL
LOL – I’m working until they close. I wash my hands after each customer. People are still coming in and it’s still busy. Folks gotta see!
My workplace requires some level of activity at all times but I can do some of my job from home. I will probably have to show at least 2-3 times this week That’s not too bad though lol. I’m actually a danger in my workplace since I’m a carrier instead of someone who gets sick.
I think Tennessee had to keep Tannehill. The contract is what it is. I do believe without the run game he had last season he won’t be the same QB but I don’t think TEN had much of a choice.
I am going because we make TP where I work and I am going to sell it on the black market lol. I should be able to retire be Friday
Lol! My old buddy Bookman! How ya been? I’ve been wanting to talk to you about this awesome business venture and I immediately thought of you………………lol.
Lol! I am doing well. Thanks!
Lol! I am doing well. Thanks!
LMAO!!!
New Age – Carrier? Can you elaborate? You can’t catch this?
I probably can catch it but most illnesses don’t affect me as much as others. I’ve had the flu once in the past 28 years and it affected me for about a day. I don’t really get sick. I get mild headaches, a little sore throat, maybe a bit of muscle ache, a runny nose. Nothing but minor colds every year, sometimes not even that. I’m still able to carry it to others so when the flu is bad or in situations like this, I try to limit my access to people with kids, the elderly, etc as much as I can.
Hey Bookman, can you spare a square?
I’m sorry I dont have a square to spare…..good reference man!
I can recognize the voice of who said that. From my 900 phone calls of course.:)

So around my area have heard that the Costcos and such are like Battllerama. The smaller places and more pricey places not so much. Guess when people are worried about the end of the world they still want to save money.
New Age – gotcha, you’re a lucky guy
I am. My wife hates it when I bring stuff home to her though lol.
I just think it’s funny, I was perusing FB and I see so may posts telling people to stay the fuck home and I’m thinking to myself . . .
1) Will you guarantee me that I won’t lose my job if I do?
2) Will you pay my salary while I do stay home?
3) Are these people not going to go out to get food, and if they get food delivered, are they going to wear hazmat suits when they answer the door, are they going to alcohol wipe all the containers before they eat?
Well you can’t stay home if your employer isn’t allowing it
But for people like me, I can stay home
I get that Piggy, but surely they understand that not everyone has a choice, and if they do, it’s their choice to make.
LOL @ New Age
Mike:
That is why there needs from Federal and State levels. You can’t expect people not to work, especially for those that live paycheck to paycheck. For Piggy and I it is easy as we can work remotely but from everything I hear it is important to socially distance oneself. A good friend is an ER doc in Seattle and he says this virus is bad. He said one of ER docs he works with is in his 40s is now on ventilator
It can be bad in some cases, it can also be like a flu. Different people are going to handle it differently. It’s going to take time to get any federal aid, it seems like a very difficult thing to set up.
My rankings of QBs In this order:
1 Tua
2 Burrow
3 Herbert
4 Everyone else
Joe Burrow
Tua Tagovailoa
Justin Herbert
Jordan Love
Jalen Hurts
Jacob Eason
Jake Fromm
Anthony Gordon
James Morgan
Steven Montez
Cole McDonald
After Herbert they are all meh imo
If I run out of toilet paper I have plenty of elephant ear plants and banana trees in my yard. I’m good. LOL
New Age
I’m like that too, although I don’t know of ever giving anybody anything.
I never get sick.
I haven’t even had a headache that I can remember.
I never even get hangovers,
despite consuming massive quantities of every type of alcohol but gin.
I had a cold a couple winters ago. Shocked the hell out of me.
Lasted about 3 days of sniffles. No meds at all.
I haven’t had the flu since I moved back to Florida in 1983.
And before that it was a once every 5 years kind of thing.
Mostly brought on by malnutrition.
I had strep throat a bunch in college, but there were lifestyle reasons for that, too.
On Friday my wife made 6 trips to the supermarket. We can survive a nuclear winter right now
I had something back in October that was like a really bad flu but it wasn’t the flu according to my doc. It could easily have been COVID-19, they have no idea how long it’s actually been around.
Definitely not Covid 19. It wasn’t here back then. You probably just had a bad flu
They actually think Patient Zero in China was found in October.
Cole McDonald had a farm . . .
Aloha Oha ohhhhhh
Ummmm he played for Hawaii right??? Crickets……..
Ken — did your wife get tested?
No. They won’t test just yet. They tested the student. We should have the results tomorrow and then we will see
Fingers crossed on that kid getting a big fat zero on that test.
None of us know which QBs will be successful. The 2018 class looks meh to me right now and many thought franchises will be turned around because of these guys. Which team?
I didn’t think the 2018 class was anything special. I was never sold on Haskins
Haskins was 2019.
Never mind I am losing track of time already
Yes, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen, Jackson. Hard to argue right now that Jackson who was the last pick out of all those guys isn’t the best.
Well, stay safe everyone.
I hope you all sail through this pandemic with no lasting ill effects.
Thanks Naples, you too and your family of course as well.
I really think Grier and Flores want to build a physical team nobody wants to play. The Ravens model isn’t perfect but they’re usually in the mix year after year. Now they have a dynamic MVP QB in Lamar Jackson, but they are still showing they want to be physical with the trade for Calais Campbell. That’s what we should do. Impose your will on teams. Not try to out-trick them.
I’m just waiting to be shut down. I don’t know how we are supposed to pay employees, our bills, etc….
Definitely going to be interesting.
Ohio and IL have already closed all dining establishments, I’m guessing we are next. They are allowing take out and delivery for now, but that doesn’t help people who live off tips…..
Whatever
Meanwhile they have created enough panic so that 100s of people are all cramming in stores to fight over everything. Yeah, that will keep transmission down….
We haven’t shut down restaurants here in my area in NJ, but last night we were supposed to go to NYC to see a Broadway show for my wife’s birthday but Gov. Cuomo shut Broadway down 4 days ago (missed it by THAT much). Last night we did have a fantastic dinner in Hoboken NJ, but found out this morning that all restaurants and bars will be closed except for takeout and delivery (missed it by THAT much)
ER,
I guess I kind of expect Wisconsin to be one of the last states to shut down restaurants and bars…lol
Mike – My company is contracted by TSA to run airport screening at various privatized airports.we can’t shutdown unless they shutdown the airports. With that said, we have already told our employees that they will continue to get paid if they are impacted by COVID-19. The downside is people are dumb asses who continue to fly and gather for fun. We are seeing a drop in flight loads now though.
That’s great that your company has the employees backs. Awesome actually. I can’t say for sure, but I don’t expect to be paid if we close.
This is some funny shit

LOL
I love it that Ryan Tannehill is considered more desirable than Tommy.
There is some kind of pleasant karma in that.
The downside to what I do is that I’m in Key West and fly home tomorrow after a week among the dumbasses (Sorry about that Chief).
Phelon – They can’t ever know for certain who patient zero is. There are theories floating around that COVID-19 may have been around since mid to late last year

Just curious . . .
Who here is not going to work either by choice or because their workplace is closed?
They announced Thursday afternoon we were going to be working from home starting Friday, but my dept(business) isn’t starting that until this coming Thursday. We’re set up pretty well to do it, we all have laptops with a dock at work so just take your laptop home with you. Conference calls, etc instead of meeting face to face. Looking at it as an opportunity to see how paperless we can be.
In addition to seeing how paperless, I would imagine it will also give the company an opportunity to see how viable and effective telecommuting can be for more employees
We already have a lot of home based employees. Another reason we’re already set up more than most to do this.
LMAO @ Bookman
We paid our Key West employees through Irma as well. It’s the right thing to do. The best part of owning a company is being able to make decisions that make a difference in people’s lives. This year we declared Super Bowl Monday a holiday. Everyone who worked got double pay, those who were off got regular pay.
Mike E. Was yesterday Dana’s Birthday? If so her and Annette share the same Birthday. Tell her Happy for us.
Happy Birthday ^^^^ Dooooh !!!
Nah Doggy, it was Feb. 20th, the show we were going to was supposed to be yesterday though. Lucas has spring break now anyway, so we went to Hoboken to pick him up and had dinner there. Great Cuban restaurant, we really like it there.
Happy Birthday to Annette! Please let her know 🙂
Now I am panicking a bit. I have plenty of Captain but forgot about the Diet Dew. Damn!
Soooo, just a barometer for everyone on this blog, if Wisconsin declares bars to close, this, in fact is armeggedon
I’m sure the Badger Social Club will stay open, even if has to go underground.
Somebody just got paid,
again
$118m total
$29.5m average per year
$62m full guarantee
$91m total guarantee
Poor Tenn. I’m happy for the Tannehills though.
I guess Brady isn’t going to Tenn afterall
Well, things may pick up for us. People with more time off gives them more time to get in trouble.
Lol Bookman
There will be riots!
How the hell did I miss this News?
The NFL players have voted to approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement between themselves and the league, according to multiple reports, first from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. The agreement goes into immediate effect and runs through the 2030 season, giving the league another decade of labor peace.
You didn’t miss it, you just shared it. LOL
We’ve been talked about it all day.
Rock, under?
Wow! You’re all over the news of the day 🤔
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/
When your team is in a rebuild, sucks, or is void of talent it’s good to have a lot of cap space, but when you’re a good team and you have a lot of cap space, like Dallas, it’s generally bad, because you have lots of key FAs, that will demand huge contracts.
Dallas’ cap will get lower real fast. LOL
Dallas won 3 more games than Miami with their vaunted roster in 2019.
That’s exactly what I’m talking l in gebout with Dallas. When your team has the talent they do you don’t want lots of cap space, in general, because it means you’ve got lots of players due to be paid and you can’t pay them all, so you’ll lose some.
Talking about with Dallas
Anyone else think Brady will be the LA Chargers QB in 2020?
That’s my guess, but the U75 crowd keeps saying SF. They can’t be that stupid to mortgage their future for an over the hill 42 yr old QB.
The report I just read from Chris Simms says it’s down to TB and NE, the others are out.
LOL, I really don’t care. Just build a team that beats his. 2 of the last 3 is pretty good with a rare win in NE to make an impact.
Build on that. 🙂
Brady leaving the Cheatriots would be a huge mistake for him.
I hope he does!
Not thrilled about this. I guess if we don’t grossly overpay him I’m OK with it . . .
Very interesting that we’re not on this list

That would have been a good trade for us!
Must have asked to much?????????
