DeVante Parker – 6’3 216
Allen Hurns – 6’3 195
Albert Wilson – 5’9 195
Preston Williams – 6’5 218
Isaiah Ford – 6’2 194
Jakeem Grant 5’7 171
Ricardo Lewis – 6’2 215
Mack Hollins – 6’4 221
Gary Jennings Jr. – 6’1 216
Andy Jones – 6’1 217
Terry Wright – 5’10 177
Trevor Davis 6’1 188
A quick glance at the depth chart shows you we have a lot of big receivers, a LOT. We have a couple of diminutive receivers too, like Grant and Wilson but otherwise we have large quantities of bigger receivers, over 6 feet. As to where some of these guys are the depth chart are isn’t important, it’s basically just a list of who’s on the roster as all of this is subject to change. I do believe that until Preston Williams shows he’s fully healthy, our main outside receivers will be Parker and Hurns, and if Wilson is able to convince coaches he’s healthy enough to produce like he did the first half of the 2018 season before the hip injury, he should be our slot receiver. After that, it’s a Battle Royale and only a few more will survive.
I’d have to say that our receiving corps is a strength of this team and one of the few units that will likely remain most intact and least changed as least as far as the first 4 or 5 of the depth chart. The order may change, but I think those 5 guys are probably going to be the 5 guys on the chart come the start of the season. DeVante Parker had an impressive season and his stats don’t even tell the whole story. While his stats are impressive in their own right, the way he got there is even more impressive. It’s like a switch went off and and it was like every ball thrown in his direction was his. He made some of the most aggressive, contested catches routinely week in and week out from game #8 non. The chemistry that QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and Parker developed was really something. Fitzpatrick had so much confidence in Parker that he was just throwing passes in Parker’s direction no matter how tight he was covered because he felt Parker had the best chance to come up with the ball and he was usually rewarded for that.
Parker wasn’t the only one who impressed. Preston Williams and Isaiah Ford both made great strides. Williams was a regular contributor week in week out until he was injured week 8. Williams used his size and frame to make catches but sometimes struggled with the easy ones, but you can see there’s talent there. Isaiah Ford saw limited work early on but really started impressing from week #13 on. It’s nice to have a such a young WR corps, with talented vets like Parker, Hurns and Wilson to keep these guys in line. Like I said earlier, I think the WR’s are our best and most solid unit, and although this is a very strong WR draft class, I don’t expect us to be very active in the draft for WR’s. If anything, finding a strong KR/PR who could either be a RB or WR will be a likely target.
GO DOLPHINS!!
#staythecourse!
Best wishes to everyone during this difficult and scary period in our lives. I hope the best for all of you both in health and wealth. I hope those of you that still remain employed continue to do so and hope that those who have lost their jobs (even temporarily) hang on strong until they are able to once again join the workforce. I hope you are all doing what you can to stay safe and help your neighbors and friends.

Oink and First
(A fart tornado swells behind Piggy)
Not a bad option!
I’d rather see if swift would last till 26, and take other talent! But it worked out!
Or take Dobbins in the second!
Blech! spit spit
With 34.6 mil in cap space. 16 mil for drated players we should have 18.6 m in cap space. They could add 10m dumping wilsons contract
They have enough room to add another nice FA….. but could carryover to next year too. June cuts are down the road as well, but then those will probably be older guys.
as of right now we would have 78 mil in cap space next year.
Clowney was offered 17m a year this year to come play with miami. Clowney refused it and miami went on to shaq lawson. Why would he refuse that?
Mike E — great write. Not sure it was easy cause a nice unit or tough cause hard to talk about what we do in the draft. And at least hoping we are set-up with Parker and Williams on the outside for least 2 years, maybe more. Call me a snob, but slots are easier to find, and we have a bunch of options on the roster anyhow.
I wonder if the stimulus package includes helping out all the unemployed hookers in Las Vegas 😉🐕
Talk about a “stimulus package “
I’m doing what I can for them
Who else looks out for the hooker, if not her community
I heard the Ramada inn had a lack of stimulus a couple years back.
It was more like over stimulus
Nice write Mike E. I like our WRs. Although I do think Wilson is likely to be a cap casualty.
Thanks guys, but Stanger, don’t discount Allen Hurns. He’s under contract for the next 2 seasons and if he’s healthy, he’s a very productive WR. He and Allen Robinson were one of the best tandems in the NFL. Now that Parker is a terror, he will really benefit from the extra attention both Parker and Gesicki will likely garner
I’m cool with Hurns , especially cause he comes on the cheap. But then so does Preston Williams. And both have been good. One area where we have good team problems.
Good write, Mike.
Wilson started to play well down the stretch last year once he was ready to go. I think if he was going to be cut it would have happened by now.
I wouldn’t think they would have to cut him, just restructure if they feel he’s worth it.
You can’t blame him for being injured. I think we forget how productive he’s been when healthy.
Tim — but not only is Wilson coming off an injury….. he’s going into a contract year. Think they should either extend or cut. He goes balls out next year and is either gone or asking for massive money.
Restructure just defers, why would we do that?
I’m with Stanger on this.
I think his contract is diminishing returns at this point. Both Grant and Ford can do the same things he can but at less cost
Wilson missed half of 2018 and half of 2019 with that hip injury. But he finished last year playing well. I don’t think Grant and Ford can do what he does when he’s good to go.
I think Ford can be better. I didn’t think Wilson played particularly well last year. He dropped a lot of balls
Grant has been injured as often as Wilson!
I keep both this year and then see what happens!
Ken, Ford did a nice job at the end of last year but he’s not as explosive as Wilson. Let’s see what Wilson does this year at 100%.
Disagree about Ford not being explosive. He can fly and is much better at getting deep than is Wilson
I have to side with Tim. Wilson WAS the offense for the first half of ’18. He turned screen passes and short passes into HR’s. He was crazy explosive. It’s easy to forget because it was a while ago, but he was awesome. Ford is not that type of player, but he’s a good receiver. Wilson is like a RB playing receiver, he made so many big plays in ’18.
Wilson also did that in the dink and dunk offense Gase ran. Our offense now challenges defenses with more vertical routes now which is more to Fords strength and less to Wilson
Wilson is like a Percy Harvin and there’s another receiver that his name slips my mind. It’s all about Wilson being healthy like he was. If he’s not, then he won’t be here.
Ken, I think Wilson struggled early on because he probably wasn’t in football shape and he was just returning from that injury. He did start to play better as the season went on
Ken, I totally understand that aspect, but you can’t blame Wilson for carrying the whole offense, just blame Gase. In any case, he can still be valuable because while the offense can threaten downfield and keep the defense honest, you can use Wilson and maybe a new back like Swift to threaten underneath as well.
I just think for the contract he has it is unlikely he will remain on the roster. Not a terrible problem to have if a talent like Wilson becomes expendable
Agent to Redskins: Release or cut Trent Williams. Any interest? Does his attitude concern anyone?
Too,old and a year out of football
He wants a long term contract and he wants to get paid.
My feeling is he would only be a stop gap as he will be 32 at start of the season.
I think they will draft their starting OT
For you mocksters, here are 3 plan B players you can select if you miss out on your plan A player in the 1st round.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/nfl-draft-jeremy-chinn-isaiah-simmons-josh-uche-klavon-chaisson-davon-hamilton-derrick-brown
Just read that Syndergaard needs to have Tommy John surgery. That truly sucks!
Jomal Wiltz changed his name to Jamal Perry. I wonder if he’s better than Jomal Wiltz . . .
Maybe he got married and took his husbands name.
👉👌
You guys missed what i was saying on the previous blog about knowing you would definitely trade up from 18 to 13, given the pick exchange they listed. I dont see how you do that until the day of the draft an there is a person who might not make it to 18 you gotta have. I can only think of one player who might be there at 13, that i didnt think would be there at 18, that i would make that trade for and thats Kinlaw. Did they list the player we supposedly were going to be after? I just dont think you can know whether you take the trade or not without that as part of the scenario
It was for an OT! Wirfs or Wills
There are no positions this year that scream give up something to get me, except maybe QB. With QB its always, go get your guy type of thing, but im not trading up for any player from any position this year. Too much more you can do staying put and not giving up picks. Miss on the QB take Brown, dont trade up for switch, take him at whatever pick you feel he is worth and if he goes sooner take Taylor, or Dobbins, or whom, ever a little lower, Take an OT at 18, if a top one is still on the board, or grab CB2, there are too many options to try to rigidly plan out your picks or make moves so you make sure ya get people, again outside of QB, which is always the case with QB.
Those plan B scenarios almost always exist, thats why im suggesting the thing i just said above is how i feel this year. Derrick Brown is the closest thing to an “doesnt have a plan B” as i can come up with because none of those guys really match what he brings.Im not sure i dont feel he is overall the best selection in the draft.
Kinlaw is the closest plan B for Brown and he is going to be a top 15 selection lol, so even plan B in Browns scenario is another high first.
I actually like Chinn a good bit, if we snag him later int he draft i think he will fit us pretty well.
I like Chinn too. He’d be a good late 2nd or rd RD pick
Ken, I’m not sure what Ford you were watching because I don’t remember him being explosive but more crafty with medium range routes. He’s a nice depth WR, but I didn’t see anything special from him.
He’s like Justin Hardy, he runs good routes, and he can get separation doing that but he doesnt strike me as explosive. For what its worth, i think Hardy actually does it better too. What im saying is Ford really isnt anything special, at least as much as i have seen from him, which is limited.

——————————————–
Wilson cant stay on the field, which means it doesnt really matter how talented he is. I think thats everyone’s fear with Tua as well is thats the scenario we would find ourselves in, BUT, Wilson has shown us thats the case and Tua its only guesses.
Wilson’s contract is WAY too high for what he gives us, even counting the reasonable estimation of his potential with us. He could be replaced easily int he draft with a guy who will make less than a mil a year. Save the 9.5mil cutting him, put it towards the draft class and possibly another late pickup when the 2nd round of FA starts.
Wilson was out because of one injury where he got tackled in an awkward way. It’s not like he has issues like Parker with nagging injuries, and Parker rebounded in a big way last year. Football is a violent game and sometimes guys get hurt.
I thought his was ACL and he had a few of them. My bad if im wrong. Still do not feel he justifies his contract.

I think you are thinking about Ty Montgomery
Nah, not Montgomery although he fits that mold. I think he’s been in both conferences but I think of him more in the NFC, maybe Minny, not sure.
I’m counting on you D to think of it, it’s driving me crazy.
You talking about M13’s man crush Cordarrel Patterson?
Ty Montgomery was the first though that popped in my head followed by Cordarrel
McCaffery is another good example of that type player
I just thought of it. Golden Tate.
I knew he was a WR, not a RB, but he plays a lot like a RB
I was going to say Tate.
wow 1/2 the know cases in the us in NY alone. You all are dirty. LOL
Stay in NY stop coming to FL.
😉
Its all the Hobo dick cheese that the street vendors are using to season the falafel,
Oh geez!!! LMAO!!!
FL gov is helping with that. Ordered that anyone flying in from NY, NJ or CT has to do a 14-day quarantine on arrival. It’s like Trump’s travel bans turned inside US.
Looks like Wilson’s injury history is not consistent to one spot, though he did have two ac joint sprains back to back at one point. I think thats what i was thinking about.
You can do a list of injuries for lots of players. Wilson had one major injury with us and the play at 2:20 against the Lions is when it happened.
I think Albert Wilson is a very similar player to Golden Tate, both in size, speed, and receiving style.
Wilson is more explosive where Tate is more consistent.
In full lock down mode in Wisconsin now until 4/24. I have my letter from my company indicating I work for an essential company in case I get questioned.
Does that letter also give you access to your private bathroom? 🙂
Yes, well some would say I am handicapped on a normal day
Somebody tie Son down.
I’m watching “Dazed and Confused” and I keep going “Holy shit that’s..”
There are so many people in that movie that you recognize from 100’s of other movies.
It’s set in 75 but things weren’t all that much different in 85 when I was that age. Just less paisley and bell bottoms.
Ha!!! For me this sort of thing started in let’s say 1977 as one of the younger dudes then into the early 80’s. Good times!
Matthew McConaughey in pink corduroy Levy’s creeping on highschool chicks in his 20’s makes me LOL
LOL, I remember chicks in HS dating older guys all the time. Now it’s rape.
I was dating girls 3 years older than me. LOL. Perks that came with the position. (local pot dealer)
LMFAO !!! Hobo Dick Cheese.. 😆👍
I have been practicing “social distancing” for years now, but not that it’s all the rage suddenly I want to be a social butterfly and go out every night. I am losing my shit working at home and never leaving.
I watched netflix………….all of it.
LMAO!!
That’s funny
I go mine today to Bookman!
In case the Po-Po want to know what I’m up too!
Name the movie:
It’s over between us Kate, Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.
Dodgeball
Bravo
Impressive Ken
Rock – I just asked my friend at work that same question, it took him a while but he came up with it. I know how you feel now, I’ve been home for 2 days now which is nothing and I’m having a hard time occupying myself.
Mike, you are thinking of:
Tavon Austin a former Samurai (son ducks)
He’s definitely another guy like that for sure, but it was Golden Tate who was hiding in the back of my head.
Phelon, it’s not the right time for us to get Cam. It’s too bad, I’d love it but it ain’t happenin’
I disagree with who you were thinking of. When have you ever heard Tate compared to Harvin?
I’ll answer. Never.
Even at ND Tate was never used in the backfield. So tell your mind I was right.
LMAO!!! That’s really funny
Actually, Percy Harvin was probably not a great comparison, I do think Wilson and Tate are very similar though.
Ok if you say so. I don’t see it.
Btw, nice article and a fine job, thank you.
You’re welcome and thank you
I can’t believe you guys let me do a fart tornado on this blog with any comment
You think I’m coming on here without a mask on?

The silver lining to this who covid-19 thing is how amazing my hands smell
All my soap is some weird scent “lavender and chamomile” or “pomegranate and mango”
You’re becoming Miss Piggy
I Can’t help it of all the soap they sell is flavored like a hippy’s tea cabinet
My knuckles are raw man, too much hand washing. Now that I’m home I’m washing them less but at work I washed them like 20 times a day.
Yeah I do it less at home too
But I’m always freakin home
So un pig like
I wouldn’t be shocked if it is Cam to New England
I was so positive it was going to be Dalton to NE but that doesn’t like it’s happening. It could be Cam, or they could have the next Brady in Stidham in house already, who knows?
I saw something today that they are going to do a deal for Deshaun Watson based on some Tweet Watson posted
My money is on Flacco
I want Burrow, he’d be awesome here. It’s his best fit if you’re being honest.
He liked a tweet last week a Dolphin fan put out saying they liked how FA was going.
Paraphrased Burrow said, The Dolphins are loading up!
I like Burrow, Tua and Herbert which is why I am not for trading up. One of those will be there at 5 so keep all our picks
I have not looked at much of Herbert so I have no real opinions on him .. as some above mentioned I am leery of Tua getting broken , and I did not see him do much more than throw to Wide Open receivers….
Burrow I will say I actually watched a lot this year .. and I would also be VERY happy to have him in Fins Uni.. and with the amount of upgrades signed in FA, if we want to spend three Picks to get him , I see. I issue…
Bring me the Burrow
I’d give up 2 1st and a 2nd to move up for Burrow.
Easily
I’d give them Aikens, Harris, Rosen and Ballage just because I’m so excited they took the deal
Throw in Wilson too 😊
I see no issue
They wouldn’t want Wilson’s contract
Neither do we though 😊
lol
Lol…Son creating cap space!
Funny thing is, they need all those guys
maybe not Ballage but he stands a better chance there
Manitoba:
Tua is the real deal he has done a lot more than throw to wide open receivers. He is a great decision maker, has a cannon arm and great touch on deep throws. The only question with him is his health.
Herbert is interesting because he is the best athlete of the top 3. Bigger, stronger, stronger arm and faster but needs more refinement than both Tua and Burrow.
Thanks Ken, I watched only a few of Tuas games , including when he went down.. he didn’t WOW me.. Burrow wowed me ..
Herbert don’t bite
But I honestly believe he’ll be a late bloomer.
You’re at Go with Burrow. Herbert is 2, 3 4 years down the road but then he’ll be elite down the road.
But that is where having Fitzpatrick makes Herbert a good choice because you don’t have to rush him in
Burrow’s WR were no more open than Tua’s. Of the three Herbert had the worst surrounding cast. I would take Burrow over Tua every day.
I thought Burrow dropped passé into tighter/contested areas very nicely .. don’t recall much of that with Tua , but again did not see his whole season either .. just my impression
Burrow is fearless.
We get Burrow we have the best QB in the division, anyone else leaves question
Tua = Mayfield in my mind.
Overrated ?? 🤡
Hmmm….maybe?
I know we didn’t exactly need a power back after the Howard signing
But AJ Dillon would be fun to watch
Hey…pay attention Pig! We’re debating QB here!
He is a big MOFO and moves pretty good for his size…
I MAY have spent too much time watching LSU, I also really liked Hillaire 🤷♂️🤔
I would take Herbert over Tua because he needs to sit for a year. So does Tua. Burrow is the only one of the three that starts immediately.
I dont think I can hear any more QB talk
But if you insist on my .02, I don’t really want to move around for any of those guys
I think at 5 we are sitting pretty to get one of those top 3
And I’m more concerned with having the picks to build around one of them
Especially OT
^^^^^
I must admit that I cannot stomach reading another mock draft that has Miami taking Tua at 5.
I really like Wyoming’s all having a BADASS taken …
I’m about to do one now
I think if we get Burrow, Tua or Herbert we have the best QB in the division….
I think 5 years from now Herbert will be the best player.
You may be right. I may be crazy.
You just may be a lunatic
Lunatic Fringe
I know you’re out there
You’re in hiding
And you hold your meetings
I can hear you coming
And I know what you’re after
We’re wise to you this time
Let you kill the laughter
Agree with Rock
Definitely agree we still need to use resources on OL.. but otherwise we looking pretty good … so could/should afford to spend max 3 picks to get Burrow without killing ourselves .. IF that’s the way the wanna go
But it just might be a quarterback you’re looking for
Turn out the light
I’m not dying for a QB, and once again, give me recent examples of the 1st QB taken being the best. Good luck finding that!
Payton Manning 🤡
How far back did you have to go there? LOL
Not very it came to me really quick 🤡
Andrew Luck
Niners in a Redo LOL. Smith over Rodgers lol
No, I mean it’s 22 freaking years! You think maybe every 22 years that happens?
So you’re saying there’s a chance ??
Toba – Yeah, a very small, unlikely chance!
That’s all we need sir 👍👍
Kyler Murray
Cam Newton
FYI I was not a believer in Murray either .. seemed to like baseball more … still might who knows
That’s only a distinct perspective. Peyton debunks the theory. Answer this. How many college QB’s have thown for 60 TD’s in a season?
Oh pick me pick me !!!!
One ?!
Welcome back.
Answer this: How many college QB’s threw for 60 TD’s in one season and not even 20 total TD’s the rest of their college career?
5: R1P5 QB JUSTIN HERBERT OREGON
18: R1P18 EDGE K’LAVON CHAISSON LSU
26: R1P26 OT JOSH JONES HOUSTON
39: R2P7 RB D’ANDRE SWIFT GEORGIA
56: R2P24 EDGE JOSH UCHE MICHIGAN
70: R3P6 C LLOYD CUSHENBERRY III LSU
141: R4P35 S JULIAN BLACKMON UTAH
153: R5P7 G DAMIEN LEWIS LSU
154: R5P8 S JEREMY CHINN S. ILLINOIS
173: R5P27 OT JUSTIN HERRON WAKE FOREST
185: R6P6 TE DEVIN ASIASI UCLA
227: R7P13 WR KENDRICK ROGERS TEXAS A&M
246: R7P32 LB CARTER COUGHLIN MINNESOTA
251: R7P37 WR AARON PARKER RHODE ISLAND
Oh man, that would be a dream! And we get Kenny Rogers! Awesome! LOL
Luck’s career didn’t turn out all that great after all, though not entirely his fault.
But he was the best And first QB picked that year
OK, so it’s every 14 years then. We’re not there yet
Don’t fall in love with the QB, they’ll just break your wittle heart they will!
I’m a sucker
But Burrow is the guy, get him
He might be the real deal, he’s very likable, I dig his persona, but I’m terrified to trade away so many picks and put all that pressure on one guy to get it done here.
Toba, Murray stands a better chance of there being a football season than a baseball season
At least starting on time yep
So was there another 60 Td college season other than Burrow ??
Asking for a friend …
Uh, actually Colt Brennan threw 58. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it
Are trying to summon M13?
David Klingler threw 54, B.J. Symons threw 52. These QB’s are littered along the highway of losers BTW
But he threw 35 the next year , so yer above point is moot 🤡
But Burrow will not throw over 20 more in his COLLEGE career …
I thought that was a pretty freakin awesome draft if I do say so myself.
LOL Ken, M13 if he read that would have a helluva time keeping quiet on that one.
I understand all of you are smitten by Burrow, but we will have to give up a LOT, and that’s assuming Cincy is even open to entertain any offers. That’s why I wouldn’t fall in love with him, but if you can take it, go ahead.
I do like him a lot. His interviews are funny. He carries himself well. Seems quick and smart. Very likable. His final year was off the charts uber-competative, uber-successful. Uber-One-Year
I dont think we will pry the puck loose for three picks , but three for one for him I’d be okay with .. as long as they aren’t all our 1st rounders.. and with the amount of picks we have , would not hamstring us too much , just saying
If we don’t do it I’ll be okay .. but as loaded as we are with picks , no time like the present to get your Franchise guy we have been looking for for 37 years
You mean 21 years. Canadian math? lol
metric conversion
Sorry , 37 years since we drafted the last one was the math I did .. my bad
Toba – Moot how? Brennan has way more TD’s in college than Burrow has. Just a one year wonder if going by the facts.
Answer this: How many college QB’s threw for 60 TD’s in one season and not even 20 total TD’s the rest of their college career?
Brennan did, Burrow won’t
Thasallumsane
🤡
Saul Goodman
Has started a total of 40 games during his 4-year career.
Starting record of 35-8 is unmatched by any quarterback in WVU history and sixth in the NCAA in most career victories as a starting quarterback.
First quarterback to have started and won 4 consecutive bowl games.
His 4,480 career yards rushing are the second most among any quarterback in FBS history. Denard Robinson, the career leader, and former quarterback at the University of Michigan, also tooks snaps at the running back position when an injury to the elbow of his throwing arm prevented him from playing quarterback.
He has accounted for 100+ touchdowns, which is a Big East record for any position.
Pat White was one hell of a college QB
And that’s what I see happening to Tua ..
I hope I’m wrong if we take him
I will give this year’s 5, 26 and 39 to move up or 5, 26 and the Texan’s 1st next year.
I must be weird or something, I thought the goal of any TEAM is to draft the best players to make your entire TEAM better. the way I look at it, only Burrow, Young, and probably Simmons will NOT be there at pick #5. so, is Tua or Herbert the guy that’s best for overall TEAM success at pick #5? I would tend to think NOT. I believe OT Wills or DL Brown would be the best pick to better this TEAM.
The boxing equivalent is Mike Tyson saying “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”
BPA goes out the window when QB’s are involved, gotta get one when you can.
if by some miracle one of those three are available at #5 you run to the podium, and do your TEAM a service. lol 🙂
Son – It’s the bigger field. lol
Everything’s bigger in Canada EH 😊
Not your bacon…it’s not even real bacon.
I beg to differ it is basically A small ham steak
Easily and I would give them the higher of our first rounders next year
Supposed to be a reply to Rock
Maybe I just keep seeing flashbacks in my head of trading up to get Dion Jordan, trading up to get Daniel Thomas and then trading up to get Leonte Carroo. I’m gun shy now
LOL 3 very good reasons not to , yep
I don’t want to trade up either necessarily but that’s where the best QB is and he’s a great fit for us.
Tyson said that Sonny? That’s pretty damn smart!
There ya have it! He couldn’t more right, until Buster Douglas that is. Tyson was a scary mofo. Basically the first boxer that got into the ring that didn’t shit his pants beat him.
mike also said……… “I knew he was in trouble when I hit in the equilibrium,”
“hit him in the equilibrium” …. lol.
Phelon – Definitely NOT bacon, but I dig it anyway!
Toba – That’s exactly what I mean. Bacon isn’t ham, it’s pork belly. You Canucks are very confused.
But it IS bigger than yours lol…
I actually prefer strip bacon …
I say “go full retard” trade all 14 picks for one player…… lol.
Just make sure he is the best damn Punter available
Sonny – Truth is, there probably won’t be a better opportunity for us to make a trade, and I fully understand and realize that. I just want to build a team and all those picks would help us do that, but you do have to get a great QB to win it all, no doubt. Whatever happens, I’m in, you know that much.
I’ll be fine either way too but man I’d love to get Burrow
And I agree with ya both as well
You can make a really good case to pass in a QB for a player like this
totally agree! but the secret is out…… he wont last til #5…….. 4.39 🙂
If Burrow is out of the equation, I’m sticking to my idea. Turn our 3 1st rounders into 2 top 10 picks, and then draft Derrick Brown and Jedrick Wills. 🙏
I would NOT argue with that my brother. 🙂
Rock, back when I was 13/14, the hot and more developed girls and women would tease me and say if only you were older. At 16 that all changed. Good times!!! 😉
I’m jelly, that never happened to me.
Yeah well, I have a friend and still he’s my best friend, he did most of them. LOL
I learned how to play the game from him. But that was a long time ago. Females are no different than males when it come to romance. You have to have something to offer. It’s a two-way street. LOL
So is it an online draft this year?
Nope! Don’t like it one bit!

I think Albert Wilson is a very similar player to Golden Tate, both in size, speed, and receiving style.

Wilson is more explosive where Tate is more consistent.
————————————————–
Tate is your typical slot guy who runs precise routes, kind of attacks the routes to have the DB backpeddling when he makes his breaks. He is an amazing third down receiver too as he is really smart footballer who seems to always know exactly where the 1st down marker is.
I see why your doing the comparison to Wilson, but i kinda lean towards Tim’s definition as to the differences between the two.Wilson is more the explosive shake a guy then gone type player where as Tate is more a technician on the field.
GMs want the NFL to push the draft back to a later date. NFL says draft is still on as scheduled
I don’t understand postponing the draft when you can select all the players remotely
It does hurt anyone with medical question marks!
But not much else
Just caught myself whistling the Miami fight song while washing my hands????
WTF is wrong with me!
#Subliminalmessaging 😉

“I’d give them Aikens, Harris, Rosen and Ballage just because I’m so excited they took the deal”

I have said that before and agree. Package players to give up less picks. Aikens is gone but, if you are trading up for Burrow, there is no need to keep Rosen. Package Harris, Rosen, Wilson and Ballage to Bengals for #1 overall. All 4 are positions of need for Cincy. We could even agree to pay Wilson’s tab to improve his worth. We have the cap space.
GMs are saying they need interviews to evaluate the physic side of the players.
There is a thing called the internet… Not to mention they had Senior Bowl week and the combine to interview. The draft is a crapshoot anyway, so is an extra interview in person going to make a difference?🙄
If they can do FA with adjustments, they can have a draft with adjustments. We have all made sacrifices, so can GMs…

If the chargers get cam newton its probably likely that Tua will be there at 5
Rich – There was interesting banter yesterday on NFL radio about why some GM’s like to meet these players in person. They gave an example (of all people) Mike Tannenbaum, how not only did he love to talk to the players but he would speak to the driver that brought the kid to the meeting and ask him how the kid behaved, if he was respectful, chatty etc. A lot of freaking good it did him! LMAO!!
Vernon Gholston had a really bad interview but the cab driver….wow! What a guy!
Exactly!
I just heard on the news that Italy is totally shut down and that if you are caught on the streets there is a fine between 500 – 3000 Euro. IF you test positive for the virus and are caught out they can imprison you for up to 5 years. They have passed China in number of Deaths. (which I believe is BS because China lies and never tells the truth.)
Does anyone know the current active cases in NY? Yesterday it was 25665. The day before ir was 20875. I just wonder what it is today to see if the curve is leveling out.
30,800 today. up 5K
Wow
It would appear Florida’s curve is flattening with only 50 new cases over the last 24 hours. 1412 to 1467.
If the curve has reached its peak we should recover within 3weeks
Cam to Miami?
god no please
I heard a lot of college players entering the draft would rather not be drafted at all if they slide to the 6th rnd and on. They would rather have the ability to choose where they want to go and not be drafted
I think the numbers are being way under reported due to lack of testing. I was symptomatic last week and have been home since Thursday. I was told by my primary care doctor to “stay home, there is nothing I can do for you at the moment. I don’t even have the supplies for flu test at the moment. If you get really bad go to the hospital, sorry.”
My fever broke on Monday. Did I have it? Did I have the flu? a cold? Strep? May never know.
I HOPE is was Covid-19 that way I have a better chance of not catching it. (they still can’t say for sure if you have recovered if you are now immune) It would suck for me if it was the flu and then next week I catch Covid.
Not sure of the veracity but I have heard if you had it you’re even more susceptible to catching it again, and it’s worse the 2nd time, like the shingles. Again, not sure how true or correct that is.
governor Cuomo just said a few minutes ago that if you had it and are 72 hours without symptoms then you now have immunity and can go back to work. Who do you believe?
I mean, 2 weeks ago this was a nefarious democratic hoax…
I probably don’t believe anything right now because it’s so early in the process. How many people could they possibly have tested that had it and then got it again? I can’t believe there is a sample large enough to have definite answers either way. Make sense?
Mike E:
All of the epidemiologists being consulted on TV including Dr. Faucci are saying that like any other virus that once you get over it you should be immune
Cuomo is correct, you can’t get it again.
The overall death rate world wide is a little over 4% of those who were confirmed. Here in the US it has been much lower rate 1.3%
It’s good to be in a developed country when it comes to these things.
Spain has just passed China in death toll too. It is so bad they have converted ice skating rinks to temporary morgues.
Not to detract from the subject, but Miami use to have such a high death rate they had to use Burger King trucks as temporary morgues. I mean there is just something disturbing to me that dead bodies were kept cool in a “burger meat” truck. Everytime i think about that it just gives me the creeps.
