With all the flux in the lineup on the offensive side of the ball necessitated by injuries, COVID-19 etc, the one stalwart, reliable guy all season long has been #11, DeVante Parker. A look at Parker’s catch percentage of 65.8% might not be that impressive unless you watch the games. If you’ve been watching, Parker isn’t getting those easy throws, in fact it seems as if nearly every throw his way is a contested catch. I listen to WQAM as much as I can and NFL radio as well, and of course try to read everything Dolphins that I can. There’s a lot of talk about Tua Tagovailoa needing to learn how to throw to targets that aren’t wide open, as they usually were at Alabama. I believe it, because in some ways it’s counterintuitive. I think there’s a level of trust that a QB has to have in order to make those kind of throws and I believe that’s something that Tua will learn, and one that I also believe may take some time to develop. It’s a skill he hasn’t honed yet, so be patient, but it sure is nice to have to DeVante Parker here as a Miami Dolphin, because he makes those plays seem routine.
This week, the Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals come to town, in tow with a couple of former Miami Dolphins assistant coaches. Zac Taylor is the Head Coach, along with DC Lou Anarumo. As you know, the Bengals lost their promising rookie starting QB Joe Burrow to a knee injury and now have either last week’s starter Brandon Allen or Ryan Finley to choose from. Allen had an uneven start and apparently was lucky to escape with only one INT as he was consistently throwing into crowds. Either way, whomever starts at QB for Cincy has a tough task against our Miami Dolphins defense. Man, it just feels great to be able to say that and mean it!
As far as our Miami Dolphins offense, it’s still unclear as to who will be in the backfield. Myles Gaskin is designated to return from IR but it’s not a guarantee that he’s able to go Sunday. His former Huskie teammate Salvon Ahmed is also not a lock to play with a sore shoulder and last week’s primary ballcarrier DeAndre Washington has a sore hamstring. This could potentially lead to a Matt Breida and Patrick Laird backfield, but I have a feeling Gaskin or Ahmed will be playing and likely getting most of the action, it depends on how each one of them responds during practice, and maybe we even see both. The other big question looming is whether Tua Tagovailoa’s thumb injury is significant enough to keep him out another game which would have our wily veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick getting another cherished start. Fitz may really like Tua but don’t think for a second that he’s not relishing every opportunity he gets to start.
Depending on who starts for the Bengals, either Allen or Finley, they will likely have Giovanni Bernard as their starting RB along with a nice trio of WR’s including former pro bowler A.J. Green, very impressive rookie Tee Higgins and team leading WR Tyler Boyd, with 72 receptions and 723 yards. Higgins is the TD leader with 5 TD receptions. This is a different offense without QB Joe Burrows and RB Joe Mixon. Bernard will share carries with former Dolphins RB Samaje Perine. On defense, Jesse Bates III is having a nice season at safety with 3 INT’s and 13 passes defensed. Pretty impressive, as he also is 2nd on the team in tackles with 75. SS Vonn Bell leads the team with 85 tackles and if we know one thing, it’s never a good sign when your safeties lead the team in tackles. DE Carlos Dunlap was traded to the Seahawks at the trade deadline and basically leaves a toothless defense behind in Cincy. DE Carl Lawson (not to be confused with M’s fave Manny Lawson) leads the Bengals with 4.5 sacks.
Well, this is the easiest game on our schedule for the rest of the season with the Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders and Bills remaining after this week. That doesn’t mean we look past our opponent this week, I know Brian Flores won’t be doing that. This is a must win for us to stay competitive for both the division crown and/or the Wild Card. Neither avenue will be easy but wins mean everything and we better get one this week. At the moment, Cleveland is the top WC team at 8-3, followed by us and Indy but the Ravens lurk just one game behind us at 6-5 along with the LV Raiders and the South division may change hands so both Indy and Tennessee are in competition for a WC spot. Right now we stand as the 6 seed above Indy but this is very fluid and can change weekly. I say we take care of our own business and win at least 10 games and we should be in the playoffs.
GO DOLPHINS!!!

What a crazy game. Defensive domination. We were so bad as a team in the 1st half, yet we still ended up winning the game with ease. Tua found a rhythm once we went to the no huddle and looked really good in the 2nd half.
Lofton and the other guy are hands down the worst analysts I’ve ever watched. We’ve had them 3 or 4 times this year, and they are just clueless.
Cincy was taking cheap shots all game. Fuckers. Loved the team response after the 2nd one against Grant. Loved Flores getting out there too. This is a team that plays for each other and their coaches.
Loved how we started knocking Bengals out of the game (cleanly too) after all the BS. Our defense stepping it up a notch and smacked the shit out the Bengals the entire rest of the game.
We were so bad in the 1st half, I fully expected Sanders to miss the 53 yd FG early on, but nope, right down the middle.
Howard gets beat a couple of plays, then boom INT. QBs just keep throwing at him at their peril.
Gesicki came to play!
Glad Gaskin is back. Can we stop with the fumbles RB group?
I really hope Williams comes back next week. We desperately need an upgrade at the WR position.
Our defense is for real. We’re going to find out how real next week. Can’t wait.
Would love to see the Bills upset tomorrow.
Forgot about this COVID protocol shit. Maybe we see some Kirk Merritt but think you guys are right. There probably won’t be any suspensions.
I don’t think any Dolphins are getting suspended.
I also don’t think we have to worry about suspensions. Those were two brutal hits against our guy, and both could be construe ad dirty so it’s hard to fault our guys reacting to that.
There was also a BS blindside hit against Parker on a INT everyone knew was coming back. And I haven’t watched the replay to see if it was dirty, but Flowers got rolled up on by a defender away from the play. I think it was a warranted response.
This game was so bat shit crazy in so many ways I don’t even want to critique it. We got the W to get to 8-4 before we have to play the best team. Clean it up guys and go play your “A” game next week.
8-4 for the first time since 2002. 🙂
2003, but yes, I get your point! It’s awesome!
Oh I thought they said 2002 during the game, I didn’t look it up or anything. But yes we’re headed in the right direction. 🙂
Jordan Howard in the game for Eagles , Wentz looks horrible this year so glad we have Tua 😊
Who was that #88 I saw on the field today making all those plays and seeing all those targets? Is he someone we brought up from the PS?
Just another Acorn
Some dude named Gesucky or sumpin’
FINALLY found the Fins game on a Tampa radio station that normally carries the Bucs. They were horrendous!!! FIRST TIME I’ve ever turned off a Miami game b/c I could not STAND the broadcasters! Found out well after the game that Fins won 19-7. I’ll take it as long as Flowers can play real soon!
Had another experience with DIRECTV. Their customer service lady spoke good Chinese but her English was incomprehensible – – so I really didn’t get anywhere with them. LONG STORY best kept short. BOTTOM LINE is I WON’T be getting any credit for loss of CBS for the next several months AND the inability to get Dolphins’ games on CBS (which is MOST OF THEM!) Wait ’till the Super Bowl is BLACKED OUT IN TAMPA B/C OF THIS LOSS OF CBS!!!
iPhone, crackstream.com, mirror your phone to your tv. Unless you TV has Cathode Ray Tubes.
Lol , probably a better chance he understands direct tv lady
ALL I GOT out of crackstream was a chance to bet on NFL games. NOT quite what I wanted.
8-4 dance
I don’t expect Gesicki to have a day like this every week but it just proves that how dynamic he can be when you get him involved. I think he needs to see a lot more targets than he’s been getting, this game of course excluded.
He has mad skillz
I loved that they were getting him the ball today. He delivered
Really think Tua can rely on a lot of targets to Gesicki and Parker if they just let him open it up a little
Agree but we need another weapon at WR to help take the top off the D
Tua has just under 300 yards today
Imagine of grant would have caught that long bomb to him
It was a piss poor throw into coverage 😉
Yeah…hit him in the hands…WTF!

——————-
I don’t think it would be much of an upset
Well it wouldn’t upset me.
👍
And , I agree it would not be a big upset. 49’ers are not a bad team.
TD Pats. 20-0 pending pat 51 secs to 1/2 time
Pets up 21-0
61 yds of offfence for chargers
That is more than what the Bengals got in the second half
Anthony Lynn is DMW.
yep
Wow unreal.
Blocked FG return TD Pats
Pets up 28-0 with a punt return for a TD and a blocked FG returned for a TD. The way they play on defense and STs really reminds me of the Dolphins.
We might have to start calling the Patriots the Dolphins-north. 😉
I just hate the Pets thinking they have any chance at the playoffs
The Rams uniforms are freaking ugly.
Ken, Tua’s pass was a bit wobbly to Grant, but it went over the coverage and hit him in the hands. He has to jump for that ball and just catch it, but he wanted to try and catch it and continue running. That wasn’t going to happen on that play. Just catch the yardage that was there.
Wait until these guys all get on the same page in time along with some new talent.
I was making fun of ORob
It was a beautiful throw
DOH!!!! LOL
Gaskin had 90 plus rushing and 50 plus receiving.. nice
Giants over the Seahawks 8-5. Not a score you see very often.
Baseball
Outside of one play which ultimately a bad angle taken by Jones the Bengals O was 💩
Dolphins outrushed the Bengals 110-40
Dolphins had a better avg 3.9 to 2.4
Our running game has slowly progressed as has our rush defense. We ran pretty well in the 2nd half after we took control of the game, and we completely stuffed their run game.
Oh, and we’re now 2-2 for the year on converting with QB sneaks.
And how many of those yards were on the run before Gaskin fumbled? We just need better. That 110 was while playing kill the clock and against a real bad run D.
26
I thought we ran the ball pretty effectively this game. I’m not sure why you’re presenting getting yards rushing the ball when you’re trying to kill the clock as a bad thing, lol.
Just pointing out that if you run a lot you tend to get more yards rushing. 🙂
Dolphins are the #2 ranked scoring defense at 17.6 per game. The Steelers are #1 at 17.1.
If the Steelers give up 25 points in their next game, the Dolphins move into #1.
Steelers are #1 in takeaways with 23 (with an extra game to play).
Dolphins are #2 with 21.
I want to say Flores should give the team a talking too about clearing the bench, but how can he when he was there and getting fiesty himself? That was all the way across the field from our bench.
I had no problem with that. They looked like a team standing up for their guy
It was exactly what was needed. We created a situation where the refs had to clamp down. Much better than letting the Bengals continue to keep getting cheap shots on us. There wasn’t a single incident after that bench clearing.
Get the We are The Phins statement, but I would have preferred the penalty and Parker still in the game.
Pets piling it on 35-0
I’m not worried about the Pats. We get our shot at them again.
Wow we won but somebody thinks we suck and cheers on the jets 😆🐕🥃🥃
Jets choked on those drinks
The Bengals were cheap shot artists all day but they’re so bad they can’t win with us losing 6 players to ejections and injuries. Fuck you Mike Thomas!!! Karma will come for you.
I fucking hated seeing him sitting there smiling. He’s a dirty douchebag and believe me he will get his.
His teammates giving him high fives. WTF is that? They be saying can’t do that, bro!
Looks like the Giants clutched up huge in Seattle with no Daniel Jones. Their D is really good
I see the same thing going on with them with Judge, as we are with Flores. We might meet up in a couple of years. Seriously!
Thinking the same thing
Those of you who took the Fins and gave the 11 points should be smiling now. According to some guy on NFL Network, the Fins haven’t been favored by 11 or more points in any game since 2002.
Did that fullback Cox have any carries today?? Settling for FG’s will come back and bite us against an offense like the Chiefs.
But, man, you’ve GOT to be pleased with 8-4. Now if we could get Flowers and Williams ready for the Chiefs – – – !!
It will be a different game completely against the Chiefs. I’m just thrilled that they finally featured the TE today. No reason to have to constantly force the ball to Parker, and if teams start doubling Gesicki then it will leave someone else open. Regardless, Gesicki should see more targets than he has been getting except for today of course.
The TE’s have played a major role all year, just not fantasy stats. Our core three have 9 TDs and probably over 800 yards. It’s a young offense that does what they feel they need to do to win the game. 7-1 in our last 8 games.
1-3
4-0
3-1
?
Mike E; I watched a few of the game highlights. After just seeing them, I’ve come to the conclusion that you need to stop in Ocala on your way down to the next Fest. Someone in Ocala certainly needs to see a vision specialist to get their eyes checked out.
——————————–
ON ANOTHER TOPIC; IN just a little over 4 hours it will be midnight in the eastern time zone. NEVER FORGET Dec. 7, 1941. Many decent Americans (especially many decent Hawaiians), gave their all for America.
I guess no “we should have drafted Herbert” this week?
That’s my Coach!
Anybody want to poopoo him out there, can grow a pair! I have no problem with this team having that edge. They aren’t to be fucked with…..just wait for the plan to keep coming together with another offseason.
+++++
Preach it pachyderm
O wait ? Am I allowed to use that term ??
Heck of a catch that was. Glad to see him come back out…..
If it threw that pass Hipp would have caught it 🤡
If Tua ^
Maybe Gailey will see the success Tua had with moving uptempo. Get him out of his head and just play ball. To me, it just looks like he’s thinking too hard and not just playing. That should change over time.
I think its ridiculous to assume he’s a bust and looks terrible. I dont know where that even manifests from. Let’s look back at the QBs brought in here last 20 years…….
The entire offence looked off in the first half … 2nd half I believe they got a talking to and made the adjustments and looked a whole lot better.
Early in the year I was thinking DE should be draft priority 1. I now think WR is priority 1 and RB is also a necessity
I think we can upgrade on Hurns and Wilson for a lot cheaper yes
I have confidence they can find and create a DE.
This offense needs playmakers desperately.
Would be nice to get a full season from both Parker and Williams next year as well , would help a lot
To me the next draft has to be about getting weapons for Tua
I endorse this message
^
“He’s not just a coach out there. If his guys get hurt he’s just not going to let it go,” Tua on Flores coming to Jakeem’s defense. “It’s a testament to how close we are as a team.”
I can’t find a video of that poorly thrown ball to grant early,
Cause it doesn’t exist 🤫
Because there was no poorly thrown ball to Grant. You can’t find something that doesn’t exist
from what i saw it looked as if Grant had to willie mays that ball. i can’t be sure without seeing the replay but when i saw the play live my first thought was, not impressed by the ball placement of tua ckdownavaloa
Yeah….hitting both hands of the WR running in stride is pretty inaccurate and poor placement.
grant made a great effort to even touch that ball, just going from memory, need to see the replay
Willie Mays the ball is exactly what you want on a deep ball. Over the shoulder running straight back at full speed. Perfect
not really, you want the ball on the side you are facing, mays made a great catch looking straight up, i’m sure the degree of difficulty would have lessened if that ball was to the side of him in the direction he was running.
🍺🍺 to Toba
Those I will take 👍👍 to Rob 👍👍
I just saw the TD that beat the Jets and how is it with seconds left with the Raiders needing a TD and near midfield that the Jets are playing man coverage?
I’ll take Adam Gase for 6 pts Alex
Lose for Lawrence?
Suck cause you’re the STEJ ?
That was aTD !!!!!
Ball landed on Hill lying in the endzone .. it never hit the ground
No fantasy points for me
This team seems to find a way to win while previous teams found ways to lose. We only have to split the next 4 to go 10-6.
One at a time. Win at home next week.
i wonder how they will handle hill & kelcie next week?
we can’t let KC start lighting it up, with all these check downs Tua throws we may not be able to keep pace with them, we need a gunslinger against KC.
Long 15+ play drives eating the clock. Keep him sitting on the bench.
1-9 3rd down eff
6-16 3rd down eff
wrong again, damn! 1-10 3rd down eff, that blows!
Denver has held them to 6 pts up to the 2:00 warning. So it can been done. , although there should be 4 more KC pts on the board … I hope we can , won’t be surprised if we get killed either
i’m actually thrilled with this team, who’d of thought we’d be 8-4 at this juncture?
we’re 7-1 over the last 8.
i don’t want to get my hopes up though, it’s how we play in dec that counts.
these next 4 games will show just how good this team and tua really are.
it’s really a good balance, we play 2 elite teams, 1 away and 1 at home.
we also play 2 above marginal teams 1 away and 1 at home.
it will be interesting.
It has been and will continue to be a Fun ride 👍👍
They definitely have to play better offensively. But as far as I’m concerned, as long as they beat the Cheats the rest is gravy. Lol
Cheats and be in position to take division against Bills
Lighten up and enjoy the ride
our D stepped up today again! only giving up 196 total yards!
2nd half they really locked down
Bengals were Minus yards up until last posset
Possession
Dolphins Bengals
Time of Possessions 32:16 27:44

———————————————————-
That is what I was thinking when I did my December mock this morning.
11. DeVonta Smith WR, Alabama
22. Kyle Pitts TE, Florida
43. Najee Harris RB, Alabama
54. Josh Myers OC/IOL, Ohio State
85. Christian Barmore IDL, Alabama
123. Caden Sterns S, Texas
194. Joshua Kaindoh EDGE, Florida State
203. Chris Rumph II EDGE, Duke
251. Dazz Newsome WR, North Carolina
My first pick right now DeVonta Smith. Best hands and route runner in college football, IMO.
Ireally don’t want KC losing and coming into next week angry
Kind of a luxury pick but why not add another big 6’6 big play TE.
Denver not giving up a TD until late 3rd qtr … division games are so unpredictable.
Then NAJEE! At 6’2 230 he is what we need and think him and Gaskin would really compliment each other. He is not one of those big backs who need 15-20 carries just to get going. He is ballin from the get go.

I can hear the wind blowing
A storm is coming this offseason
Going to be a tough task to keep our TO streak alive against the Chiefs. They have a total of 8 TOs, 2 INTs and 6 fumbles lost.
They haven’t played this D yet…..
GO FINS
^
They finally surgically were able to remove Grants helmet, he’s no longer looking out his ear hole.
he has to be the MVP of this game!
he took two huge hits and almost made a play on that poorly thrown ball!
He dropped what would have been a 91 yard TD pass. TIFI
He short-armed it. I like Grant but his hands are questionable.
GOIN’ to work with an 8-4 feeling!!
I think he short armed it a little too, Phelon
A day that will live in infamy 🇺🇸
WHERE’S THE VIDEO!
i tried to find it, got all the highlights from the 1st, 3rd and 4th qtr, no 2nd qtr video when that play took place!
I think they are hiding it!
Where’s Rudy G?
Did we start 5 rookies on offense yesterday?
If so….wow
https://twitter.com/baldynfl/status/1335798655991902208?s=21
Here you go ORob
It’s a perfect throw
the pass was too long! giseki couldnt catch that!
anyone have any update on Flowers?
Kindley actually played well at LG replacing him
I don’t but during the game they said knee but I read later in the evening it was his ankle so that’s better at least, hopefully it isn’t too bad.
that was a good pass, i wouldn’t blame that on Grant though.
he threw that ball 53 yards in the air.
Not bad
Ran his man out of the state
Never forget!
🇺🇸
And meanwhile that dirty fuck on the Bengals sideline was laughing and smiling. Bengals always have be a dirty fucking team
we need a dominate running game and a push up front like Kindley gave.
Gaskins is pretty good as well.
Another example of the garbage the Bengals were throwing around all game yesterday…
DIRTY MOFOS!
I kinda thought when we made them kick it again, some revenge love was headed Thomas’ way.wouldnt have been too hurt by it if it did, penalty or no
That second hit on Grant would have had me on the field too, coach or player.
Number of fines doled out for that game is going to be hefty
Gaskins fumble and Grant drop aside, I thought the real offensive gaffes yesterday were redzone play calling. That game was not as close as the score would indicate. Loved a lot of those shovel passes and quick tosses to the short quick wide receivers. Nice to see Gesicki involved as well. We’ve got weapons, we just need to use them more. Cox and Laird should be catching passes out of the backfield, especially in those goal to go situations. We seem to keep playing down to our competition. I hope we can step it up in the last four games, especially with NE hitting their stride.
Another thing I love is seeing rookies on the field contributing. Remember the last several regimes how we complained about not getting the guys on the field? We’re developing guys and giving them opportunity. Lots to be excited about.
That 3rd and goal RPO was horrible. Put the ball in Tua’s hands. He is the franchise so let him make a play instead of running very vanilla looking running plays
Team bonding exercise aside Grant needs to get his head out of his ass when he is back there fielding punts. He had no business trying to return those 2 punts they should have both been fair caught
I think the Broncos showed you can run on the Chiefs. It is not our strength but we have to commit to running the ball against. The Chiefs pass D is good
Playing man coverage in a Hail Mary situation is beyond being a fireable offense unless of course you are trying to lose for Lawrence
Tee Higgins is a monster, not necessarily as a receiver, though he seems pretty damn good and likely develops into one, but he freaking HUGE. so easy to spot him out there.
Hahaha. Gregg Williams fired. Good luck Gase.
Sounds like a dejavu. Greg Williams is a miserable cunt though, so good for him.
I would rather see them fist fight on the sideline
Oh Williams would beat the shit out of Gase.

To add to what you have said, which i agree with, id add that one gaffe on defense of taking the inside angle to the reciever, which was super dumb by our highest paid defensive player, that was a shutout game. They couldnt get anything going on offense, they were hounded by our pass rush and our offense, outside of slow start, was clicking pretty well. Geisicki should have caught that ball despite not perfect placement, and it killed that drive. Parker had one he should have caught as well. Ball placement by Tua wasnt great to start the game but he seemed to settle into whatever discomfort that thumb and/or the binding he didn’t like caused.
Our running of the ball was weak, but we made it through a game where we started with 2 RB’s legitimately one true rushing back. We need a rushing threat at least to finish strong so i hope we get some of those other guys back soon.
The defense brought the pressure, and they were in pretty good coverage most the game. That int by Howard i saw as soon as he release the ball, i dont know why he threw that pass but glad he did. Igmahogany played well replacing Howard, and his plays on ST’s saving both of the fumbles was excellent plays there. people are slamming this kid for bad play when it isnt deserved. We dont know what the coaches have planned for him, so not seeing him on the field doesnt mean he sucks, it just means the coaches are playing him where they want to, and he is behind two great CB’s.
We suck at red-zone play calling as mentioned above, and we have to clean that and 3rd down conversions up, but we are at 8 wins now and if we play our best could win most of the games we have left.
Actually ill go on to say Needham is playing very well too so not cracking the lineup is probably because of a good thing, the high play of all the other CB’s.
Needham really is playing well. He’s come a long way from that guy at the end of last season. He’s got a lot of confidence now too, you can see that.
So we have the Raiders, who just allowed the Jets to score 28 on them, the Pats, who earlier in the year let the Jets score 27 on them the Bills who beat them by 1 and a half scores and 1 respectively. If they could generate that kind of offense against those other teams, i sure hope we can put up at least as much. Our defense is certainly better. We have to finish strong but things look good right now.
I think we have 4 tough games coming up but they are all winnable, even the Chiefs game is winnable imo. I am not saying we will win these games only that we can and should win some of them
We should win the NE and the LV games. Maybe even the Bills game. KC is a could win.
D:
Were you a writing major in college? LOL
D,
Yeah on all you said. I’m not worried about Iggy, he’s 20 years old. That’s and we don’t need him right now, like you said, Needham is playing well. As far as third down goes, I’m not seeing where we are putting Tua in a spot in succeed on most third downs. I really scratch my head on the play selections when we are in situational football like goalline and 3rd downs.
It is pretty clear they like Needham in the slot and they see Iggy as boundary guy. He had meaningful minutes yesterday and I don’t recall him giving up any significant completions
They put Iggy in when Needham shit the bed a few games back, so i think they play the top three guys, but do see Iggy as more of a boundary player. We want to have him out there, like i have always said, wanting rookies out there is like pouring a new bowl of cat food for your cats, they will leave a full one, with great food in it, because they want the new thing. We should be playing Needham right now, he hasn’t really given us too many reason to remove him.
I would say fine they like Iggy as a boundary guy, but X and Jones are signed for two more seasons. Don’t see how the plan could have been to start to have a prime first round back-up.
How often have the starting CB’s finished the season on IR?
For sure nice to have, but would rather have a kick-ass slot guy who can move outside if needed.
Yeah all the games are challenging but i dont think that people should be considering them like we are the underdogs in them, which is what most of the pundit seems to be commenting. I mean the Raiders are getting big time praise and we are at least on the same competitive level as them, the Pats are getting credit that they dont even deserve. Yeah KC i could see most teams being underdogs to them, but id bet we are one of the toughest defenses they have faced so far. The Bills same as the Raiders, i think they are equally competitive but we came close to beating them before when we hadn’t gotten our shit together yet and had we, we would be the division leader and they would be needing to beat us to get it back. Im not taking any of those for granted, just more so trying to prove that this pooping on our team like we dont deserve to be there is getting stupid.
Will guarantee Vegas has us as underdogs against KC and @Bills.
Definitely agree as to KC probably against the Bills too but only because they are home in the cold weather. I think otherwise it is a pretty even match up
Ya know, the Jets being the Jets it would not surprise me if they did not take Lawrence with the first pick.
They’ll take a D-Lineman and then trade him 3 years from now in a fire sale.
Lawrence will be the pick especially since it is going to be a new HC and very likely a new GM so they will want to pick their guy to be the QB
https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article247466570.html
But he is not a good QB. ORob said so
In some ways a rebuilding team is more attractive to a HC than a good/average one. Lets you rebuild exactly how you want and less pressure to perform….. which means job security.
Ken – Don’t think they fir Douglas. This is only his second year. He can blame it all on Gase, who was not his coaching hire.
That is possible they keep him but if they do it will be because he is on board with drafting Lawrence and finding a coach who will develop Lawrence and utilize the talents he has
