Week 17 – Dolphins @ Bills

The last week of the 2020 NFL Regular season is upon us, and no matter what the outcome of our game versus the Buffalo Bills is, I’m thankful for our Dolphins for giving us a great season. Whether we win or lose, make the playoffs or don’t make the playoffs, I think I’d be hard pressed to find a Dolphins fan that feels that this 2020 team didn’t exceed their expectations. This team had a bumpy start but once we got rolling, we have been an ultra competitive team. Our worst loss was the first game of the season against the Patriots losing by 10 points. Since then, our loss to the Seahawks in Week 4 was our 2nd worst losing by 8. Our seasons point differential is +96. We are the #1 scoring defense (points allowed) at 18.8 in the NFL. If I told any of you we’d be traveling to Buffalo Week 17 with a 10-5 record as the #5 seed in the AFC, there’s not one of you who wouldn’t be thrilled with those circumstances.

I’m not going to bore with you with last week’s theatrics, we won a game we had no business winning but we did win, and now we live to fight another day. Coach Brian Flores has already decided that Tua Tagovailoa is the starter. Is this decision made for this week or for the future as well? I’d say in some ways it’s probably both, but I also believe that Flores believes Tua is his best QB. I don’t think Flores is a puppet and no one is pulling his strings. He’s making the personnel decisions and he’s declared Tua is the QB. Once again, I mean absolutely no disrespect to QB Ryan Fitzpatrick but there is a fine line between Fitzmagic and Fitztragic. He’s a gambler, and as everyone knows, sometimes ya win and sometimes ya lose. I’m going to enlighten some of you here, so be prepared. Over Ryan Fitzpatrick’s career, his TD% is 4.4 and his INT% is 3.3. Tua Tagovailoa in his short career has a TD% of 4.3 and an INT% of 0.9%. This doesn’t tell the entire story, and there are many metrics to look at, but I think Flores wants a player that’s careful with the football, and Tua Tagovailoa is that guy. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t be better, he can, and hopefully Sunday he will be.

The Bills are 12-3 for a reason. The best teams in the NFL score points, and the Bills are the 4th best scoring offense at 29.7 PPG. Their passing offense is #2 in the NFL throwing for 4,398 yards. Josh Allen is having a monster year, completing 69.1 % of his passes with 4,320 yards with 34 TD’s and just 9 INT’s. The Bills defense is stingier giving up yards than our Dolphins as they are ranked at the #10 defense in the NFL but they are allowing nearly a TD more per game than our defense. Their rushing attack is on par with our own rushing attack and they have used a 1-2 punch with Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. They are 19th in the league rushing and we are 22nd. The problem is their rushing attack doesn’t stop with these 2. QB Josh Allen is a legitimate weapon with over 4oo yards rushing and 8 rushing TD’s. When they’re in the red zone, you have to account for the QB running as well.

On the injury front, we know that LB Elandon Roberts is OUT along with Jakeem Grant. Practicing on a limited basis were WR DeVante Parker, OL Solomon Kindley and S Bobby McCain. McCain is not a threat to miss the game. Both TE Mike Gesicki and G Ereck Flowers were both FULL participants. That’s good news. I think Elandon Roberts is done for the season and that’s unfortunate. He wouldn’t be getting as many snaps this week anyway because the Bills throw the ball more. Can we talk about a Dolphins defender who gets very little ink in NFL circles? #55, Jerome Baker is having a great season. He leads the Dolphins with 108 tackles, he has 11 QB hits, 7 tackles for a loss along with 7 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. This really is a no-name defense, with the exception of X who is known league wide. So many contributors including lesser known Zach Sieler, Elandon Roberts, Eric Rowe, Andrew Van Ginkel, rookie Raekwon Davis, Christian Wilkins, Nik Needham and a guy who leads the Dolphins in sacks, Emmanuel Ogbah. Hope Ogbah can be the first Dolphins defender since Cam Wake to have double digit sacks with a great game against the Bills. We need to take Josh Allen down! Hopefully Shaq Lawson can make it for this game, although AVG certainly made his presence felt.

In summation, I think it’s important to have the right perspective. The Dolphins are a team on the rise, no question about it. We have built a team so quickly it’s shocking. We are set up to have another strong draft and a top 5 draft pick which currently stands at #3. Once again we have TWO 1st RD picks and TWO 2nd RD picks, most likely 4 in the top 60. We also have a fair amount of cap space ($32M) as well to fill in Free Agency. The future looks so much brighter than we could have imagined. I didn’t expect us to be at 10-5 going into the last week of the NFL season. I didn’t expect our team to be this good, this fast. Whatever happens this weekend, the future is bright my friends, enjoy it!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Happy New Year!!

    Repost

    Here is Amon-Ra St Brown

Some of the highlights make it look like he’s a speed outside guy
But really in the nfl he will probably be more like a slot guy

So far Bowden and/or Perry really haven’t broken anything big
There’s time for them to develop

But it never hurts to bring in competition

My guess is he goes anywhere between 2 and 4th rounds

    We have the picks…..lol

  2. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I should have said “first and oink”

  3. excellent article Mike, i concur with Your points, this is an exciting team, and they find a way to win in crunch time. Christian Wilkins wont let the guys get down, lol unless Wilkins takes them down in a TD celebration !
    Happy New Year everyone!

    Great write up Mike

    The new NoName Defense

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Thanks Piggy! If you think about it, the only household name is X. If you asked NFL fans most of them probably couldn’t name one or two more guys on our defense, past X.

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

        That’s true

I have a theory about that

I think there are so many former patriots on radio and tv they talk down the Dolphins

  5. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Piggy – It’s not just former Patriots although I’m sure there are enough of those fuckers. I listen to NFL radio a decent amount and when they talk about the Dolphins and Bills, they talk about the Bills as the team with the great defense and it just freaks me out. Like have they watched these teams this season? If they have, how do they come up with that conclusion? I know in recent weeks the Bills have defense has better than earlier in the season, but I think that has a lot to do with who they played and when they played them. Last 4 weeks they played the Niners w/o Garoppolo and 3/4 of the the Niners team, The Steelers who are in a major offensive rut, the Broncos who have thrown in the towel and the Patriots which are a total mess. I hope we light those fuckers up Sunday and wake these ANALysts up some!

  6. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Good write Mike E and heck yeah been a great season already and the future looks even more bright. But gotta correct your first line. Should read — “The last week of the 2020 NFL REGULAR season is upon us…” Hoping the Phins got a game or two more in them.

  10. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Why was our relief pitcher not at practice today?

We NEED Fitz! How will we win if we don’t pull Tua in the 2nd half!!!???

    Doomed! DOOMED I SAY!!

  11. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

The Miami Dolphins’ 2020 average margin of victory is 6.4 points per game.
In 2019 it was minus 11.8 points per game.
    That’s 18.2 points better.
    This rebuild has been fast.

  12. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Fitz = 2 x the yards in 1/3 the time same score in 1/3 the time. WE NEED FITZ!

  13. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

“For the fourth time in sixteen weeks, Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.” And 2nd most points in Phins history with a chance to break the record….. but yet no Pro Bowl.

    You got robbed Jason.

  14. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Cleveland Covid … Sittin’ Steelers … that game is a mess! No doubt about it, the back door to the playoffs is nearly locked…. gonna have to kick down the front door and earn it the old fashioned way. 4th and short for Miami should be a hoot to watch.

  15. i love our D run lane stuffs, when other teams have the foolishness to go for it on fourth down

We must have at least a half dozen stops on fourth down attempts this year, and Seiler is a big part of that

  16. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Ryan Fitzpatrick QB, Miami Dolphins
Dolphins placed QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Fitzpatrick is reportedly COVID positive, and not merely a “close contact.” At least as of 1:30 PM ET Thursday afternoon, Tua Tagovailoa has yet to be designated a close contact of Fitz. It would appear the Dolphins followed all mask and distancing guidelines, unlike the Broncos quarterbacks ahead of Week 12. Nevertheless, Jake Rudock has been promoted from the practice sqaud to serve as either the No. 2 or No. 1 quarterback depending on Tua’s status. Depending on when Fitzpatrick first tested positive, it’s possible he will not be available for a potential Wild Card matchup should the Dolphins clinch a playoff spot against the Bills on Sunday. It’s a disaster for Miami after Fitzpatrick served as a Mariano Rivera in Week 16.

  17. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

As fans we are thrilled with how this season has progressed … however, I am pretty certain that Flores, et. al., don’t see it that way. His message is that our players belong here, so play that way. Whatever happens in this game, I can assure everyone here that a Flores led team in a win/in position will be in this game to the end. It will not be a game like the Pats played on MNF.

  18. Christian Wilkins is making a name for himself this year, and Jerome Baker has turned it up a notch as well, i think he has 7 or 8 sacks

  19. sure hope Tua stays healthy, or we could be looking at Malcolm Perry or Patrick Bowden JR at QB, lol

  20. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Good write, Mike. I agree with what you said. This season has been so much fun. We would have all signed up for this season in the offseason. We’re on the right path.

  21. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Are NFL players being tested using ‘rapid’ or ‘pcr’? We sent our rapid tests back because they were wildly unreliable for something that causes major upheaval in people’s lives/routines/etc. White House was using rapid tests when they had all those outbreaks (false negatives! as much as false positives). Anyone we had with a positive test we made them follow up at CVS with pcr test.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I was pretty sure I had COVID-19 in the summer along with my wife but we both tested negative. We had only GI issues, no respiratory issues or coughing. Does a nasal swab show COVID-19 when the infection is the in the GI tract? No one knows . . .

      • Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Right? And waiting to 5 to 7 days for results completely eliminates the possibility of contact tracing.
We’ve obviously have had to keep working through this pandemic, and the hardest part has been the OTHER medical issues that now required a Covid test to eliminate it… but most of those were unreliable. Every single person at our clinic except my wife has had to go to quarantine at least once. 5 have been positive. We still can’t get access to an in house PCR, only rapids.

  22. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Will preparations for the game be halted? LV Raiders are big time protocol violators … you see where I’m going with this?

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

What really sucks is this Week 17, and the NFL has done everything in their power to make sure there is no Week 18 of the regular season. Other teams have received consideration for situations like these postponing games. If Tua isn’t available and we followed our COVID-19 protocols, is that fair not to postpone the game to maybe Tues or Wednesday if Tua could play then and couldn’t Sunday? We deserve that courtesy too!

      • Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

without bye weeks, and only big money playoff games, I have a bad feeling that Monday Jan 4 is a concrete wall for the regular season.

  25. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

This recent spike in NFL Covid issues is a microcosm of the nation at large. Only the general population does not have access to many of the things the NFL (and NBA) have had. Fingers crossed. Football has been a guilty pleasure/distraction these past several months.

  26. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Fitz has 7 kids….. that’s a lot of ways to get Covid.

  29. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

It would be a black eye to the NFL IMO to have Jake Rudock as our starter against the Bills Week 17 with the playoffs on the line. Good thing Tua appears to be in the clear.

  30. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Dolphins fans giving Ben Volin shit on twitter. All he said was it’s sink or swim time for Tua, no safety net. TRUTH! Why do people care if he talks about the Dolphins and not the Patriots. Patriots are last year’s news, irrelevant! Dolphins are relevant!

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Ben is a good dude. And aren’t these Phin fans following him on twitter?

In the power rankings the Dolphins range from like #10 to #14. Sorta blows my mind.

This is one of the youngest teams in the league (depends on the roster at given point, but one of the 3 youngest for sure). And a lot more draft picks coming next off season. Only problem I see down the road is we might not be able to sign all the guys we draft to a 2nd contract.

716 receiving yards and 15.2 YPR… as a rook on a terrible team with a terrible QB.

However, I highly doubt that Coach Flores would bring somebody in (Jeudy), who publicly trashed his QB. I guess what I’m saying is that we won’t be trading for Jerry Jeudy.

That’s not being sarcastic, that being being real. I made my statement about trading for Jeudy before knowing what I know now.

      Give me DeVonta Smith, instead.

Different parts of NY have different accents, but a NY accent is a NY accent. 69. the best way to beat the Bills is score more points than them, works every time !

Tua must learn to step up and deliver strikes downfield, toss up some high pointers to Gesicki, take some chances even if it might mean a INT or two. WR in college get massive seperation compared to the NFL

But i think a large part of Tua not getting the ball in the end zones is the crappy play calling

too predictable, and too many 2 yard passes, I saw Big Ben do the same thing, but when he aired it out, and started gunslinging, the steelers got TDs and came from behind to win

of course Ben is a seasoned vet, so its pathetic he had not learned that yet,

Tua will learn,, and be one of the best QB in the NFL

We need to mandate mask wearing & social distancing country wide if we are to stop the senseless spreading of this death machine known as Covid-19. Those who “refuse to wear a mask” should be dealt with the same way as those who refuse to pay their federal and state taxes.

    • My doctor says they dont have the vaccine yet, but will soon, Moderna will be the first in this area,

$MRNa was the number 4 stocks for shorters last week, thats incredibly bad for the nation dealing with this pandemic.
the SEC banned shorting for 2 months last year, March and April, and stocks EXPLODED, for those 2 months. My portfolio rose 2000 percent in those two months, companies were able to dilute or other things to raise capital for debt payoffs and hiring Americans.
but wont do it now , SMH

Shorters have driven companies to bankruptcy, but why allow them to do damage to Moderna and Moderna investors? its dangerous and unAmerican that shorters profit at Modernas expense, SMH

Bills activated WR John Brown from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Brown was cleared after being ruled a close contact of T.J. Yeldon, who tested positive for COVID-19. Already activated from IR, this puts Brown on track to play in Buffalo’s Week 17 game against the Dolphins. Brown’s return comes at a good time with Cole Beasley (knee) sidelined.

  79. Beasley has 967 yards and 4 TD;s this year, Im happy he wont be playing us next Sunday

Sorry, but this just click bait horseshit. The “benching” thing is so overblown. The prevailing theme is he’s too careful and that’s why he was benched. If he went wild throwing the ball all over the field and had n45 pass attempts and 3 INT’s that would be OK, because he threw downfield? I’m so tired of seeing shit like this, I’d love Tua top put this stuff to bed with a strong game this Sunday.

    DINK AND DUNK

Should the Dolphins draft ANOTHER quarterback in 2021? Perhaps the Miami Dolphins believe Tua Tagovailoa will eventually become the kind of elite quarterback who can lead the franchise to a Super Bowl title, but if general manager Chris Grier and coach Brian Flores have any doubts about Tagovailoa, they must consider selecting a quarterback with the top-five pick they’re receiving from the Houston Texans in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Don’t @ me on Twitter suggesting that I’m fanning flames as a hot-take artist. The truth is, the Dolphins owe it to themselves to compare the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to the top quarterback prospects in the Class of 2021. The next wave at the position includes potential Pro Bowl-caliber players who could challenge or supplant Tagovailoa as the QB1 of the future, based on their combination of athleticism, arm talent and passing skills. Grier and Flores must project Tagovailoa’s ceiling against the talent and promise of the newcomers, evaluating every play from practice and games to determine if the rookie QB is significantly better than the other options at hand. As a playoff contender holding a lottery ticket that could net a blue-chip talent, the Dolphins must be honest in their assessment of Tagovailoa, to avoid bypassing a potential franchise cornerstone.
‘Huddle & Flow’: Michael Vick gives his thoughts on Tagovailoa

In studying Tagovailoa, he is an efficient quick-rhythm passer with a conservative approach from the pocket. He has posted the second-best touchdown-to-interception ratio (10:2) by a rookie in league history, per NFL Research. And he has the lowest interception percentage (0.9%) of any quarterback in NFL history with 200-plus pass attempts.

Most importantly, Tagovailoa is one of four quarterbacks since 1950 with a .750-plus win percentage and an interception rate below 2.0 in the same season. Considering that puts him in the company of Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, who’ve accounted for five NFL MVP awards, 18 Pro Bowl selections and seven Super Bowl titles, it is hard to dismiss his potential as a high-level winner.

That said, the rookie has been benched twice due to performance, with his inability or unwillingness to throw the ball downfield standing out as a major concern. Does Tagovailoa possess the arm strength and confidence to challenge top defenses? Can his ultra-conservative playing style win against the elite AFC quarterbacks in a shootout?

The Dolphins must answer those questions while comparing Tagovailoa’s talent to those in the 2021 quarterback class, with his showing in Sunday’s win-and-in regular-season finale (without safety blanket Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, to lean on) serving as another key data point. If the Fins don’t believe their current QB1 gives them the best chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, they should pull the trigger and upgrade the quarterback room in April.

  81. of course John Brown is no slouch, he has already scored against Miami before, lol

this is a huge challenge for the team, but I think they are up to it, just ask Christian Wilkins, lol He would say something like, we got this dub in the snow, thanks for being excellent hosts Bills !

  82. i still say that Tua takes a major step forward next year, and the team will utilize him better than they are now. i dont like the playcalling for Tua or the team

i DID, when they ran the ball for 250 yards against the Raiders. we should establish the run game, and take play action shots down the field along with our other passing plays

it worked in 1972, and still works today, RUN the ball!

  83. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I think one of the things that I keep hearing that just drives me crazy is that Tua can’t throw downfield because he lacks the arm strength. He has at least an average NFL arm, it’s getting silly. He may not have a plus arm like Herbert but he’s capable of throwing the ball deep. The fact that he hasn’t done it doesn’t mean he can’t. He’s just being careful. I think that’s something that can be fixed, he’s young and hasn’t done it so long that there’s no hope. This story line needs to go away.

WOW! This really hurts the Packers

Packers placed LT David Bakhtiari on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.

Bakhtiari suffered the injury in Thursday’s practice. It’s a crushing, crushing blow, as Aaron Rodgers’ spotless 2020 protection has been an invaluable part of his rebound to MVP contender status. The Packers spoke to 29-year-old Bakhtiari’s importance when they made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history last month. He is one of the best players in all of football. Now instead of letting Bakhtiari handle all comers on Rodgers’ blindside, the Pack will have to mix and match just as the stakes are the highest. Bakhtiari should be considered questionable for Week 1, 2021.

Last minutes of the Raiders game has already gotten the NFL films treatment. Interesting in there is seems the facemask chuck happened cause Fitz looked off the safety.

    • that will be remembered as one of the Dolphins greatest plays ever, it ranks with the hook and lateral , the Miracle in Foxboro with Drake beating Gronk for the TD, the sack in the end zone by Cam Wake in OT against the bengals, etc

  86. correction from above, the Dolphins had 250 yards rushing against the patriots, not the raiders

I loved the playcalling in the patriots game

HAS PRESTON WILLIAMS OFFICIALLY been put on the Injured Reserve List (and out for the season)?? – – IF he was, I just plain missed it. I’m thinking Flores is deferring action on Williams just in case we last deep in the playoffs. This would give Williams more time to rehab and, perhaps, a shot to play in another 2-3 weeks.

MIKE E., or ANYONE, do you have an update on Williams’ status??

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

The new Covid rules let you put a player on IR for a minimum of 3 weeks and activate any time after that. Williams is long past 3 weeks so they can activate any week. Hasn’t been practicing this week though. So he’s not going against the Bills.

    • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

JUST DID A LITTLE research on Preston Williams. The last time he was mentioned in the Sun-Sentinel was Dec. 9. (22 days ago). At that time Flores “Was hoping Williams could overcome his foot injury and come back later in the season.”

I could find NOTHING after that.

It would be just like Flores to sneak him onto the active roster when many people have forgotten about him!!

  91. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Funny, I was thinking similar to the article Mike E. IFF, there is a QB that rivals Tua in the draft available to us, I say we take him.

Competition is good. The QB position is a WIP and needs to be upgraded. Tua has to get better, and i think he will. Or, we need to find a replacement and this draft seems to have some good ones.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If Fitz isn’t coming back could see taking a round 2 or 3 QB to develop and be the break glass guy. But if we use our top pick on QB that has to mean trade Tua. Would be real messy otherwise.

    • what if we did that, drafted another first round QB< and give up on him after several games too?
the team has decided long ago that Tua is the franchise QB, and the team needs to get some WR and other players around Tua, He isnt a one man team

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

While competition is good, you don’t want to use a high draft on a QB two years in a row. Unless you really feel you struck out with the guy you drafted like the Cards did with Rosen, and have a plan in place for the QB you know you want to take and have a HC with an offense built for that guy, why do it? We’re ready to compete, build around the QB and build a winner. I don’t see us wasting a high pick on a QB. I don’t see how the Dolphins would feel that way. Tua has a great attitude, he’s a winner. Josh Rosen is none of those things. He never had football as his #1 priority like Tua does.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Don’t think using a 2nd or 3rd on a top back-up QB is a wasted pick. Plus you can trade them away as well. Pats cashed in on their #2 QBs many a time. Got a lot more than the draft cost…. like an investment.

      • Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Stanger, that’s what i was thinking. It’s not a wasted pick. If Lawrence is there do you take him? I would.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Krishna — Lawrence won’t be there….. but for that very reason heck yeah I would. And that’s not a knock on Tua.

  92. if Miami could get Trey Lance with a second round pick. i sure would think long and hard about that, because he is a multi talented athlete, the best running QB in the draft., but not JUST a running QB

Lance had 32 TD, to only 1 INT in 2 seasons, and ran the ball for 1325 yards and 14 TDs for NDSU

  93. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

If Fitz wants to return here as a backup, why spend a 2nd RD pick on a QB?

  94. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Stanger – there are always different ways to skin a cat, but we’re at the cusp of being a legit SB contender. With that being the case, I would only be looking to draft players high that immediately impact your team. We have holes thst need to be filled if we’re going to turn it up a notch to make that next level. I understand what you’re saying about the QB but that’s a luxury when you’re already at that level and are a perennial playoff team and SB contender. We’re just trying to get in now and then build from there. Just my take of course

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Not sold that we are “a perennial playoff team” yet. Think being one comes with patience as opposed to maxing out for a given season. But then a long-term guy. If I was GM would trade our two second rounders for 2022 firsts right now so long as the highest one was with a real bad team.

  95. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

I would like to see Tua have a great game. Balls to the wall while taking care of the football. There is no safety net this time. Go for it!

  96. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Stanger – that’s what I said. We’re not there yet. That’s why I want to spend high picks on players that impact the team now. I said when we’re at that point, if we ever get to that point, then you can make investment picks like that. We’re still trying to get on and then if we do, build better to go further

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

I just like to invest in the future regardless of where the team ended up in the playoffs before the next draft. Might come a day where we crush the cap for high end vets and trade away future picks to get in the Bowl, but it’s not now. I see the goal as Steelers and Pats (before this year ) instead of first round of playoffs instead of 2nd. But that just me.

  97. Randy's avatar Randy says:

I think it’s important for this team to get into the playoffs and show what they’re made of, or if they can truly step it up a notch. Whether that’s this year or next, who knows? Until we see what this team can do in that crucible, I’m just enjoying the ride and hoping for the best. A playoff win or two would be nice before I get too ahead of myself.

  98. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

I agree with what Mike is saying. Use the picks on players that can help put us over the top. Surround Tua with more explosive weapons. I think any pick above the 4th or 5th round on a QB is a waste. I would only use one at all if Fitz wasn’t coming back, but even then another vet might be available.
