Two of our top 4 picks in the 2021 draft were spent on defense. The #18 pick to me was the pivotal pick because I think adding Jaelan Phillips to this defense will energize a pass rush that improved last year with the addition of Emmanuel Ogbah who led the team, and also the emergence of “AVG” Andrew Van Ginkel who really came on last season. Keep in mind Emmanuel Ogbah had 8 sacks through 9 games last season and finished with 9, so 1 sack in the last 7 games. There’s a reason, opposing teams focused on Ogbah because Shaq Lawson wasn’t getting it done. So now we have the young pass rusher we need and in exchange for Shaq Lawson, we received ILB Benardrick McKinney. Don’t underestimate this move. As much as I believe drafting Phillips was so important to our defense, I think trading for Benardrick McKinney was a big step too, though not as much as getting Phillips. Consider that Elandon Roberts is rehabbing from a knee injury very late in the season (Game 16), we needed this. In addition, McKinney will be the perfect inside backer that will continue to allow #55 to be all over the field and we’ll now have a guy who can be productive against the run and can also chase down plays to the sidelines. In round 2 pick #36, the Dolphins took who they believe to be the starting FS opposite SS Eric Rowe, Jevon Holland. Holland will be given every opportunity to win that job as good ole Bobby McCain was let go.
I think our defense already had a very promising trajectory, even before the Lawson/McKinney trade and before the draft. I like our young, strong defensive line with DE’s Christian Wilkins and Emmanuel Ogbah and NT Raekwon Davis. Ogbah is the elder statesman at nearly 28 while Wilkins is nearly 26 and Davis is only 24. AVG will be 26 at season’s start and Jaelan Phillips is 22. These guys are just going to get better, and make no mistake, Jaelan Phillips is going to make this defense better. He will be a guy that must be accounted for and when there are multiple guys on your defense that fit in that category, that’s when defenses feast. I think Phillips is going to have that impact on our defense. If AVG can improve on the good work he did last year, our defense can be a real force. He played in only 46% of the defensive snaps and managed 5.5 sacks and 10 QB hits in addition to nearly 50 tackles. If he can earn more playing time and increase his production accordingly, watch out!
The secondary was already the premier unit of the defense and hopefully Jevon Holland can elevate it even further. Last season Bobby McCain played SS and played the majority of snaps there. This year Rowe will be playing SS and it’s expected that rookie Jevon Holland will play FS. Holland may also play some slot corner and nickel corner, a job Nik Needham handled most of the time last season. With two excellent cover corners in Xavien Howard and Byron Jones, this may be the best CB tandem in the NFL. Howard is the ballhawk and playmaker while Jones is your typical shutdown corner. Howard started and played in all 16 games finishing with an incredible 10 INT’s. Jones started and played 14 games last season and totaled just 2 INT’s, but as I said earlier, he does a great job of shutting down the receiver he is responsible for.
I honestly can’t wait to see this defense on the field. If Phillips lives up to the hype I’m bestowing on him this defense can be something to see. We so desperately need that player that opposing teams must pay extra special attention to and I can’t remember the last time we’ve had that. For some perspective, last season was the first season in which we accumulated more sacks on defense than we allowed in quite some time. We had 41 sacks and allowed only 34. In 2019 we allowed 58 and got only 23 of our own on defense. Still think the O-line didn’t improve??? I had to go all the way back to 2009 to find a comparison even close to last season. In 2009 we had 44 sacks and allowed 34. Our +7 from last season was impressive, imagine if we make that even better this season . . .
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

i think You are alright in my book Wyoming, pretty cool guy, but dont let that go to your head, lol
Stood out in the sun for a 10 hour shift today!
If my head is swelled, it’s from that!
M13, not a fan of the current administration but they were voted in. So what makes them a rogue regime?
JMO, but in my book, spending us into oblivion is rogue and treacherous. Again, it’s just an opinion… not something that everyone will agree with.
And no… I don’t necessarily agree with “but they were voted in”. Audits continue, and they are building steam. Thus, rogue. And AGAIN, it’s just an opinion.
runaway spending is indeed a huge problem, but so is not collecting enough revenues
even if we didnt pass the infrastructure bill at all, the nation is still running bigger deficits, every single year , adding to our overall debt
any real and lasting solution would require both IMO
Lol…and I thought I had memory issues.
Shit’s flying tonight. It must be Contard night. Lmao.

M13, The Hopsin songs are Your House and Alone With Me. He dropped them this year.
———————-
Yeah, man! He’s an interesting character and I dig his music.
Wanted to tell ya, I went to a block party last evening and met some interesting people. Didn’t know so many were 1990s E-40 fans here on the east coast (very similar to my music production). Asked a group of folks if they ever heard of Tom McDonald… they were like “HELL YEAH!!!”. We played a few of his songs, and those who had never heard of him before really, really dug it.
On a side note, a group of folks who’d never heard my music before got a chance to hear it… they LOVED it! Granted, it was from 2 decades ago (nothing I’ve done recently), and I got the usual “DAMN! You sound so much like 2Pac!”. LOL 😉
Just thought I’d share: yes, Tom McDonald is becoming VERY popular here in PA, brother.
MF, thanks for telling Me about agenda 2030, i didnt know about it
it sounds pretty good to come up with better ways of sustainability, nothing seems sustainable the way we are going, im all for that idea of it
https://www.dianova.org/press-reviews/the-2030-agenda-for-sustainable-development-qtransforming-our-worldq/?gclid=CjwKCAjw2ZaGBhBoEiwA8pfP_lgBNGThdJ8GzIdxOV6YgYOKat8V6BP1FYAW2SnjP-v1sKgmavCtzRoC7F4QAvD_BwE
That’s called face value. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. RESEARCH it, and you’ll find it to be quite nefarious.
im researching it now, and find it awesome, even You dont feel the nations runaway spending is sustainable, you claimed the 2.3 trillion would be the final nail in the coffin
the ideas within are awesome, whether its beneficial to join any particular group is up for debate, maybe that is what you are referring to
? but America does need to address its problems , like they are spelled out in the agenda 2030, they are awesome ideas,
and make the nations finances food, education, job opportunites, ending systemic discrimination, and poverty, and environment more sustainable
those are awesome concepts, that we probably wont soon see in our lifetimes, unfortunately
hopefully we see SOME improvements over what we are doing now and have been doing

In my Alex Trebek voice: “Be more specific…”
I’m not trying to be confrontational, I just don’t understand what you mean.
The right wing assault on unemployment benefits vs billionaires not paying taxes rings disingenuous, one-sided, and ignorant to me.
See below…
go easy on MF Krishna. like all of us, he is entitled to his opinions
but hes still a great guy , even if i dont always understand him, lol hes got a big heart, and thats really what i look at in a person
I’m not sure how many of you Contards prepare tax returns for a living, but if you have an AGI (look it up) of 100K and not pay one fucking dime of tax, NO KIDS, there’s something wrong.
I know, blame it on the Dems. LMFAO.
You people need to study tax code or shut the fuck up. You are ignorant.
you have a valid point, but i would prefer if You dont be so harsh on my buddies,
just respectfully asking, thanks Krishna
Truth hurts…sorry.
i know it does, lol but i did respectfully ask you, and ill ask ME, to be nice to others here too.
i wont single You out, I can be nicer sometimes too, lol
im trying!
Krishna, you should probably refrain from throwing terms out there like “Contards” and telling people to “shut the fuck up”. Why? It’s divisive and people on the other side of the aisle won’t take you seriously. Anyway, I have a larger point to make…
I agree 100% with you on the tax codes, and how ridiculous it is for the uber-wealthy to have loopholes built in to benefit them. It doesn’t matter one’s political leaning, man.
Thanks MF13…perhaps you consider the number of times I’ve heard Libtards vs Contards. Libtards, i can’t even remember or count the number of times I’ve heard it.
Contards twice. Once by Rockphin, then I reiterated it.
Maybe, you should refrain from judgement! ?
People all want to believe what they want to when their team loses. Trump won because of Russian interference but this time with Biden it was simple voter fraud. You see where we’re headed? Nothing is legit anymore.
A good football analogy would be when the Saints didn’t get that pass interference call in the NFC Championship game. If that’s not pass interference than there isn’t any such thing. Nothing is perfect and who the fuck knows what’s going on? Human nature will never be perfect. Never has been. So we create teams who fight for a cause regardless of how absurd it might be.
agreed the saints got hosed, lol WTF that was bad , really bad
Trump was rogue, he hijacked the Republican Party as they hated it. The reason was because they were too stupid to see it coming. Then the Democrats turn around and run a dinosaur candidate just to win. It has nothing to do with the citizens’ well being. LOL
Blow it up!!!! 😉
exactly, he was a horrific and selfish leader
thankfully the voters said, ENOUGH, no second term, which is hard to do, lol most get their second terms unless they are a total fuckup
Agree to disagree, Tim. I don’t feel Trump was “rogue”, and he couldn’t “hijack” (<– don't like that term) a party unless the Republican party leadership was a dinosaur itself (speaking of dinosaur Biden).
Trump, IMO, tried to BLOW IT UP! The swamp (the DUOPOLY) is what needed to get blown up. Like you've stated, progress happens. I don't blame Trump for doing what needed to be done, in the name of progress from the stagnation of the DUOPOLY swamp.
Lmao….belief is an interesting conversation, almost along the lines of faith.
Subtle difference?
but trump brought in nepotism and corruption to the swamp, that made it worse
being a corporate puppet, doesnt drain the swamp
when i was watching that NFC game, i was praying to GOD, please dont let that happen to the DOlphins someday
i dont want to feel the pain of knowing Miami missed a super bowl , because the referees suck at their jobs, hopefully we blow them out so bad its not up to the refs, lol

Right back at ya, sir. Doesn’t mean we have to agree on politics, but our mutual respect for one another as human beings is very cool. #RESPECT!
Well maybe I should just take my Contarded ass some where else to have a conversation?
Or maybe you can shut the fuck up?
Maybe I’ll have another beer!

I didn’t realize I launched a right wing assault tonight. I thought I just spoke with common sense. Guess not everyone sees it that way
I hear ya, brother. Common sense seems to be a thing of the past. As sad as that may be.
Don’t you just love labels? Not!!! LOL
omg yes, i dont really like labels, but with some rare exceptions
like the label on a cigar on a strippers ankle for example, lol thats ok

Trying not to be judgmental, in the name of unity. There’s quite a bit the left and right can agree upon (we proved it this past week, you, Tim, and I!), but we’re being controlled by the worst of both parties (globalists/NWO/duopoly).
There’s so much more we can build upon, Krishna! You’re good with me.
To be clear, no one controls me nor am I beholden to anyone.
Globalism isn’t going away. We’re too connected. I don’t think it’s a bad thing in theory but some people still seek the criminal world. Humans will never be perfect. Utopia doesn’t exist. It never has. We’re all fighting a losing battle based on bi-partisan rhetoric.

ive been watching that canadian show on netflix called kims convinience, a Korean Canadian convenience store owner
its not the best show in the world, lol but parts of it are incredibly hilarious, i like Mr Kim, hes a trip
i am not sure if i should recommmend it or not, lol there are some things about it i dont like, but some might really like it
I’m in the making friends mood tonight…lol.
I agree with Rockphin.
Libtards, Contards, and all the so-called politically correct retards.
Can’t wait for the PC shit on that one! Oh well. Lmao.
just curious, You said You are a tax preparer for others, Do you speak to them this way?
i bet not, but we arent your customers, we are just Dolphin fans on a blog talking together.
i wont ask again, but i will do what I can do to talk civil to others as an example, maybe eventually it will become a good habit and ill make more friends with honey versus vinegar, lol
I always speak truth to power. Ask anyone who truly knows me. What’s your point?
Why is being direct and straight up with people confrontational? I have never understood that.
whats my point? hmmmm interesting that You would ask , in light of the fact i already spelled it out
i usually recognize when someone is tuning You out, and not listening
its tough to have a meaningful convo, if both parties arent equally engaged
im game for it if you are, but you seem defensive tonight
one things for certain, we will not PAY you to talk nice to us, like you do to your customers, but we might take notes on what is eating at You that you feel the need to disrespect us when we are attempting to reach out to You in a civil manner
David, I tell my clients the truth. I don’t try to win them over with bullshit. I advise them on the law and what’s best for them. If they push me to do something that will compromise their position, I say the same thing, but stronger! Lmao! Not sure what your point is. …lol.
Kim’s Convenience is pretty good. Only watched about 3 or 4 episodes but it’s amusing
awesome, but its not really funny until like midway through the second season IMO
my favorite episode is season 3, episode 1, where Mr Kim just royally fucks everything up, lol
I’m your huckleberry!
You seem to think it’s ok to lump everyone into a box?
Why don’t you wrap that box into a little ball and shove it up your ass?
I’m also not in the mood for any name calling bullshit!
im feeling left out of the loop or something, exactly what is a huckleberry, or are you a hucleberry if you dare ask, lol JK
Wyo, you crack me up. I get the impression you “hate” (not sure what it is, but clearly noticeable) me.
My experience and life is so different than yours that you find fault in it. Ok? It is what it is.
You give yourself way to much credit!
I just don’t take very much shit – lip off of anybody!

lololol
just my luck im out of popcorn, this is fun
If you don’t know it! Well your watching shitty movies!
lmao, thats funny thanks
Krishna, how could I possibly “hate” you? I don’t even know you!
It seems you don’t dog shit from shoe shine about how the real world works! But that’s a systemic problem in this day and age!
Brilliant!
Just observing and hope I’m wrong.
Let me know when you’re ready to run! Lmao.
To old to run brother!
Never was my style anyway
Not a runner either, lol, but I will keep up.

Lol that’s the best.
My world and what we wanted is the key message. Lots of people like this exist. Yikes!
Wyo, I don’t take shit from anyone either. Let me know when you’re not slinging it because I’m too stupid.
Never said you were stupid!
Actually I think your pretty intelligent.
For a city guy
Lol…for a country guy I see your intent! I probably need to see more.
You’re implication or direct language suggests I don’t know the difference between “dog shit and shoe shine”.
Wild ass guess where that came from.
I don’t take shit from anyone.
good news, the US10 year treasury note yield hit its lowest since March 3, and is down 11 percent over the last month
this means inflation is coming back under control, the last couple months are not the norm for the future IMO
and it also means the markets will EXPLODE< lol cant wait! they seem to be getting stronger the last couple of weeks
Lumber prices, and home building supplies, have fallen dramatically from their peaks, still too much, but still coming down.
inflation makes the whales run for the hills, they watch that 10 year treasury rate like a hawk
when it rises, they lie, short, and manipulate, and they buy long when the rate falls
gotta follow the trends to come out in the ends
“DAMN! You sound so much like 2Pac!”

Compliment of compliments, that’s really cool!
I went back and went down the “rabbit hole” with TM’s stuff. Started with “Dear Rappers” and thought, “shit, that’s why I quit listening in the first place”. Then “The Music Industry”, that was a smoking gun and the type of song that may have gotten him killed back in the day. He did quite a few songs slamming the main steam rappers and record labels. Then a few hitting back at the haters like “No Response”. I am not surprised he has exploded.
I am really in tune with his word play and imagery.
That song/video “Dear Rappers” is what set him off. I read when he recorded that song and video he was living in the projects, was flat broke and had no electricity. They were able to record that song/video by running an extension cord to his neighbors house and using flashlights.
Man, talk about pursuing your dream! Back then he was flat broke. Fast forward about 4.5 – 5 years and he is worth about 12 mil now from what I hear. All doing everything totally independent.
M13, I find it interesting that many of the beef’s we have on this blog are mentioned in his last song. lol
Oh, damn, and I forgot “Exposure”.
good news is he didnt have to scrub bezos balls at amazon, good for him, lol
People should focus more on themselves and what they can do to be the best person they can be and less in changing everybody else. Be part of the team, do your part and everyone else doing the same will help us progress. This unfortunately has about as much chance to happen as a fart does going undetected in a room full of bloodhounds.
People should focus on coming to Vegas, but only if you want to be a part of history
On Wednesday the expected high is 117, the highest temp ever recorded here is 116
Our enemies are starting to come after us, do you blame them?
Biden called out China, on a world stage, he did make a gaffe, but he didnt stay at home and tweet about it, he let the world know face to face like a man
that should make the conservatives happy, they always wanted Biden to get tough with China, and he was tougher than twitter obsessed trump
but im glad he went in person to the G7, not every president will do that
Btw it was at a news conference he made the gaffes, he must have been jet lagged, lol
but he didnt do that at the actual G 7 conference
also sky news is owned by rupert murdoch, who is as biased as they come, and as far from actual news as possible
good call, murdoch is the enemy coming after us with more biased BS and fearmongering
Correction, as far from MSM news as possible
Reason from On the Finside makes some good arguments why the Baker contract is a bad one.
He says, it will make him the 6th highest paid LB, his numbers don’t warrant that.
Which would make sense, if the contracts didn’t go up every year.
We all know, when you get paid by your current team you always get more than you’re worth.
Also some of it has to be projection, and your current team knows what you’re worth.
If we paid KVN 12.5m last year, nothing wrong with Baker getting 500k more 2 years later, especially with a big boost to the cap in 2023
what do u mean our enemies are coming after us? thats an open ended statement if there ever was one, lol
AMerica has been at war since 1776, whos next
Russia already hacked our pipeline, Euro nations love Biden, because he won’t stand up to them
Steve, that video of biden is from the Murdoch owned Australia and the bbc in england
but murdochs word is total garbage in the UK, Murdochs publishes the SUN< and it s value is a big fat ZERO
lolololol bye bye murdoch, england has spoken
hint, dont use garbage sources, they are worth ZERO, like the Murdoch Sun
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-06-11/murdoch-s-sun-u-k-s-biggest-paper-for-decades-now-worth-zero
garbage sources like Murdoch, will lead people to believe what Murdoch wants them to believe, he harms people by lying and pretending its news, been his MO for decades
but now the people of the world are saying enough BS Murdoch, and Englands biggest paper went to zero. maybe we could learn something from those bloody brits, lol

Also Stanger, for a man who says he’s middle ground you lean more than the tower of pisa.
instead of constantly bashing the right, maybe mix in a little left bashing as well, to support your middle ground statement.
just say’n
Said AOC was stupid a few days ago. Made clear not happy with the progressive wing of the Dems in general. You want to know how I feel these days check out Adam Kinzinger. Another Republican disillusioned by the turn of his party.
My REAL and only point last night was that welfare exists in ALL forms in this country, not just unemployment COVID checks.
I even made the comment, when does it stop.
IMO, it was to raise the level of conversation from blaming or focusing on those receiving stimulus checks. It’s a great way to make friends, especially when one friend is always wrong or on the wrong side (sarcasm). I don’t get it, WAS my point.
And to be clearer, not all 1%’rs pay 40% in taxes. A W-2 employee with $1MM annual salary will pay the actual/effective tax rate as they will approximate one another.
Other 1%’rs can realize a huge disparity between their actual tax rate and effective tax rate. In some cases, their effective tax rate is 0%. To the point, why should the richest in this country, have ways of paying NO taxes or a lesser effective tax rate than a W-2 employee? Seems like a fucked up tax system to me with a lot of welfare components built in.
I thought I made a mistake when I prepared several tax returns with ZERO taxes paid on six figure AGI after the most recent tax changes passed under the Republican administration.
Again, to my point, why is one form of welfare, like $400 checks ($20,800 annual) worse than not paying taxes when you’re AGI is greater than $100 thousand for the year?
Are you bitching about any form of welfare or just your favorite ones to throw stones at? Rhetorical.
To me, it’s all nonsense and wasteful finger pointing. I’m just too clumsy in my wording trying to raise the conversation from this constant state of blaming the other.
I need Rockphin’s counseling. Short, simple, and to the point.
agreed on billionaire welfare being VERY wrong, and is a big problem contributing to poverty also
corporations, and the GOP< have brainwashed many into thinking welfare is only for the richest 1 percent, thats what we are seeing here
of course the richest think they deserve welfare and we dont,
but the working class needs to be aware of this, and not listen to the rich thieves lies
Musk said this morning that Tesla sold 10 percent of their coins to see how much it would move the markets
ahem, no need to figure whats going to happen next, Musk the pumper and dumper, wants to steal investors funds, AND taxpayers funds too
double dip thieves are destroying the nation IMO
I agree that there is welfare everywhere and I dislike it. It seems the middle class are the chumps in our system.
I don’t think I could make it any clearer. These COVID unemployment stimulus checks need to stop because it’s keeping people out of work, and they are collecting checks they shouldn’t be. The origin of those extra checks were the right idea, but at thi9s point they are detrimental to our country. It’s promoting laziness and too many people are staying home collecting rather than working, and there is a need for more workers right now, unemployment is artificially rising. As far as taxes, and what billionaires pay, I have no idea, but it doesn’t matter whether it’s Democratic or Republican in power, those exist in both. I’m also not blaming Biden, I’m just saying he should end those unemployment checks to get people back to work.
have no idea what the rich pay in taxes? there isnt much money to talk about, its mostly ZERO, or very close to it
its great You have so much knowledge about what the working man should do, but this explains why you have no problem letting the corporations get away with it
they hide in plain sight and get away with their crimes, while the middle and working classes take the blame
I agree with you, Mike E to an extent. Stop the welfare, but doubt it’s “detrimental to our country” any more than other forms of welfare.
Also, to my point, go read the front page article in USA Today, “Secret IRS files show how ultrawealthy avoid taxes.” The ultrawealthy like, Bezos, Musk, Bloomberg, Icahn, Soros, Buffet, Gates, Murdoch, and Zuckerberg to name a few.
Stanger,
I have a serious question. When did you really last spend some time with poor people? The reason these people get paid $9 an hour is that they have zero skills. Anyone with the least amount of effort can get a tradeskill, degree, etc to make more than $9. I work with these people daily. They have big screen TVs. They eat very well and are obese. Their children also eat well if they aren’t using the money for drugs, alcohol, etc. The government gives them a huge discount on food and lodging. They get free healthcare for their kids. The American welfare class has no real unmet needs. They just have wants. You’d like to see them make a little bit more? Minimum wage was $7 an hour just a few years ago. What did that change?
Think you’re too good for those terrible $9 an hour jobs? Then better yourself. Make yourself valuable to society instead of always looking for a hand out.
^
Even if have not hung out with such folks in a long while, completely understand about the welfare class. And maybe part of the solution is pay a higher minimum wage and less in benefits (or freeze them…. that will be the same as lower over time).
Good idea
Billionaires pay no taxes while workers get no raises
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/billionaires-pay-no-taxes-while-workers-get-no-raises-120116788.html
In football news:
Bezos tax avoidance is even more striking if you examine 2006 to 2018, a period for which ProPublica has complete data. Bezos’ wealth increased by $127 billion, according to Forbes, but he reported a total of $6.5 billion in income.
underreporting income to cheat the nation is a federal crime, and avoiding taxes is the MO of the rich and infamous
why are the rich always expecting gigantic, enormous handouts, and they dont even support the nation like we do?
people turn their heads away from Justice, and spout, well Amazon creates alot of jobs
but what they dont realize is AMazon and Bezos are near the top of the AI revolution, and Amazon will lay off most of its work force as soon as they have the technology for it
so that argument will go away, and bezos will still be getting away with federal crimes
Musk’s net worth increased by nearly $14 billion from 2014 to 2018, the years he underreported income, and that he is worth some $166 billion today.
At least these billionaires and their corporations provide thousands of jobs and services to people. What do deadbeats sitting home collecting checks provide to America? ZERO! So there’s that!
The math bugs me, Mike E., deadbeats don’t. I can’t account for people’s image of themselves or their lack of ambition. That’s on them.
Corporations should pay something to be able to do business in the greatest nation of “free trade” and economic opportunity. Those thousands of jobs and services to people that are created pay their taxes. Why shouldn’t the corporations with their profits pay taxes, too?
Bezos should pay a LOT more. Welfare should get less. Middle class gets screwed. Why is this? Politicians keep their lifelong jobs if they provide more money to their true constituents.Middle class needs to wake up
This one is really good/funny:
On infrastructure, I’m dismayed. Many believe we can’t come together on anything anymore and it’s probably true. Both sides should want infrastructure. Both sides should demand no pork in an infrastructure bill. We can’t even get that though.
The core of our entire interstate system was built in less than two decades. It took almost than long to expand a 20 mile stretch in Charlotte a couple years ago. California is wasting billions on a rail system. Bridges need remade all over country. Why can’t we get the basics in a timely manner 75 years later? Bureaucracy and pork. Why can’t we even agree on basic stuff now? Why can’t we expect better from our elected leaders? They push this media garbage to distract us from what our elites use for their own personal benefit. It’s sad and I hope we wake up.
I agree about the welfare and COVID checks. Yeah, I got my COVID stimulus and banked it. So what, was I supposed to reject it in protest while I go unheard. It’s the unemployment that bothers me to my core. I have mentioned several times going back to end of last year they need to end.
My brother-in-law was not even working 6 months before COVID lockdown started. Suddenly him and his husband are banking serious money together. They have spent the last year and a half just bouncing around living in shit motels and buying drugs at the govt’s/taxpayer expense. They were shooting a combo of heroin with meth. Now they are shooting a combo of the date rape drug and meth. All paid for by unemployment.
Had to be over $40,000 they got between the 2 of them over the last year with the stimulus and unemployment payments
That’s Socialism for you
Krishna – Detrimental to the country in regard to how difficult it is to find people to work. It’s not good. In my little shopping center, every business has a “Now Hiring” sign, and that’s from small mom and pop businesses to big retail chains. Cut off those false unemployment benefits and the workforce will become a whole lot larger.
The guy who did my roof 2 months ago (took that long after the hurricane last Sep) says he usually goes by the day labor office and picks up a few guys every morning to give them a days work. Said it has been a ghost town there no matter how early he gets there going back to last year before the hurricane. Said he had to resort to hiring illegals. Said it works out for the better cause they work 10 times harder and get the jobs done in half the time.
He put it all (day labor workers) on the unemployment benefits.
I don’t doubt it BBM – The handout approach promotes laziness, there’s no question about it.
Before COVID-19 the unemployment rate was 3.5%. Now it’s 5.8% with tons of employment opportunities not being filled because people would rather be lazy and collect.
so if Amazon provides jobs and breaks the law thats ok?
heroin dealers can create jobs too, should we give heroin traffickers tax subsidies also? or just certain criminals, who decides what criminals get subsidies?
do people in jail get subsidies? they created jobs stealing cars and what not and dont want to be left out of the big government handouts
Would you trade X for Chandler Jones?
Cap hits would be similar, Jones 1.5m more
if ANYONE of us got handed millions of dollars from the government, every year,
WE could also create alot of jobs, bezos is nothing special, hes just a deadbeat accepting handouts, and skipping tax laws that we would get prosecuted for
I don’t like Bezos one bit, but here are a few things.
1) Bezos built his business from the ground up out of his garage. The government didn’t just hand him millions of dollars and then he started creating jobs It’s not a fair comparison. It’s also not easy for anyone to create a lot of jobs. Not everyone has the ability to be a boss or an entrepreneur.
2) What tax laws did Bezos skip? As far as I’ve seen everything he is doing is following a legal tax code that is in place. If you have proof of him doing illegal activity, then show it. I’ve read your articles and they don’t show anything either. They keep mentioning tax avoidance, but tax avoidance is legal. I’m willing to bet you do it yourself. If you have a beef with the tax codes that favor the rich, then that’s a whole different discussion.
how much does bezos pay you to cover up his federal crimes? You do realize that You and Me would be prosecuted for cheating the IRS
but instead, he is rewarded with subsidies, and still allowed to break the law
so you think laws should only apply to us, and not others? and give the lawbreakers subsidies too? i disagree
why cant citizens that DONT break the laws get to have million dollar subsidies?
we could start businesses and hire people also, and not likely to fire them for AI
A comment from an essay that I read:
“The genius of liberalism (small-L liberalism) lies in its acceptance of diversity. A liberal society lacks a common Purpose which all citizens share. Instead, it allows individuals and communities to pursue a vast variety of different purposes based on their religious commitments, ethical convictions, common interests, personal preferences, etc. What’s required for liberalism to succeed is broad assent to the norms that make it possible: freedom of belief and expression, respect for the rule of law, etc. Liberal societies atrophy and ultimately collapse in the absence of this shared commitment, as demonstrated by democratic countries that regress into autocracies and aspiring democracies that fail to take flight because the populace never developed these necessary virtues.
In my view, the greatest threat to American society derives from the pseudo-religious ideologies that have taken hold on both the right and the left. The illiberal left seeks to suppress free speech and promote radical change (race-based reparations, defunding the police, forced denial of biological realities, etc.) on the basis of demonstrably false views. Words are not violence; the U.S. is not a white supremacist society; African Americans are not the victims of genocide; men are not women. Meanwhile – and partly in response to the far left’s noxious version of identity politics – the illiberal right has embraced a conspiratorial personality cult that venerates demagogues and elevates power over principles. For far too many Americans, negative partisanship is providing a toxic sense of purpose which is fed by social-media echo chambers.
What’s necessary, then, is a restoration of sanity on both the left and the right: a refusal to concede to illiberal extremes. A critical mass of Americans must renew their commitment to liberal, democratic values and acknowledge that their ideological opponents are not enemies to be defeated but fellow citizens who have different views about what’s best for our country. Consensus is almost certainly unattainable but compromise is both possible and desperately needed. In the context of a broadly shared commitment to the norms and structures that allow a diverse democracy to function, we can all be free to seek out our own vision of the good life – in other words, to define and pursue our own purpose.”
whats needed is sanity from the left and the right, i AGREE
but how would that happen? what we see as insanity, is driven by greed, insane greed, greed that most of us have never felt or experienced
once the greed monster takes over, sanity is forgotten, or swept under the rug, or blame the exploited , never the perps
the lust of ill gotten gains is the catalyst for drug dealers, pedophiles, corporations, and politicians\
how can we do anything to compromise, or get sanity, if there isnt a level playing field, and laws only apply to the poor?
what if the dolphins only got one play to get 10 yards , and the other team gets 4 plays to get a first down, and the NFL sponsors them , waives their franchise frees, and gives them breaks on the salary cap
will the Dolphins be able to win games like that?
highly doubtful
the guy that wrote the essay is wrong to deny genocide isnt real,
and hes obviously sympathetic to the KKK that stole and killed for profit, he should be first in line to pay reparations, lol
or he should be allowed to experience what its like when an angry mob steals his house, kills his family, and runs him into the swamps to fare for himself, like happened in Ocoee
HE and his cohorts that attempt to whitewash and deny history, ARE the biggest threats to the nation IMO
because he can justify profits for murder as being just fine, SMH
You never cease to amaze, you’re so narrow minded, that you let the little things get in the way of what really matters
totally disagree, im INFORMED, its not my fault that many others would like to close their eyes to reality, and ignore facts too
Facts of the past are just that in the past.
How can we move forward, when too many people are living in the past.
But if you want to live in the past let’s go with an extreme, that was actually written by BLM, why don’t we take all the property of white people away and give it to black people.
When your ideology taken to the extreme isn’t good for you your ideology needs to be rethought
We allow politicians far too much power, the more they get, the worse off we are.
Just from the discussion we had yesterday, we have more in common with each other, than we believe.
We need a new political party for the lower upper class, middle class, and the upper lower class, one that will fight corruption and reduce the power of the govt.
The purpose of the constitution was to limit the power of the govt, we need to get back to that
now we can agree, however, You are leaving out the purse strings that corrupt the politicians
corporations that break the law and get subsidies have enough money to buy off congress and presidents also, so they can continue to exploit taxpayers
money is the problem, its called the root of all evil for a reason
You see what I mean about having more in common with each other than we realize
Thank you, Phelon! Excellent and well said!
If not understood by all. I wish I was as eloquent at expressing my opinion. And you are welcome.
The “understanding” part for me was my own blindness/tribal concept that becomes a beat down. It’s always a battle to not get caught up and lose perspective.
Loved the illiberalism takes on left and right concepts, but kept getting hung up on the word “illiberalism” thinking it was one-sided. Shame on me….lol!
here is an excerpt from what happened when african americans tried to legally vote
After being taken to Orlando General Hospital on Kuhl Avenue for treatment of the gunshot wound to his arm, Perry was released into sheriff custody and taken to the jail in Orlando that night, probably near the old courthouse at Central and Magnolia.
A lynch mob descended upon the jail just before dawn to which Sheriff Frank Gordon handed over the keys to Perry’s cell. They wasted no time in seizing and beating him. They dragged him through the streets behind a car before arriving at the entrance to Orlando Country Club near Lake Concord, where Judge Cheney’s home stood.
The crowd strung up the by now near-dead victim to a telephone pole along the highway. His hanging body was riddled with bullets, which may have been the actual cause of death. This gruesome scene was left there as a warning both to Cheney and area blacks, with an accompanying note saying “This is what we do to n*****s who try to vote.”
the sheriff handed over keys to a lynch mob? thats one example of government complicity, , systemic racism and murder

Let’s put a few one offs done by a few bad apples before real issues, that’s the lies of the left, that you fall for
If you polled a million people in the US only a negligible amount of people would have these minor issues in their top 100
Phelon,
That’s a nice statement but I think the primary issue is that progressives have been taught those basic values and standards are bad snd racist. It’s really a completely opposite values system that has no logical or proven standard for success.
Progressives must constantly seek change even if it means ignoring widespread old problems. The kids today want to be social activists and consider themselves the new version of 1960s civil rights…but the US is nothing like it was in 1965. There is no group that is abused and marginalized in the real world. How can you compromise with fantasy? How do you get real world results from magical dream ideas?
Conservatives don’t like change but why can’t we work on real problems instead of finding imaginary new ones? Put criminals in jail, everyone works, everyone pays taxes, FBI works on background checks more than hate crimes, and women raise their kids with a man in some fashion. People value your proven work not your skin color and if you haven’t succeeded, try harder. I could go on and on.
When one side demands constant change even when unneeded, and never listens to solutions to common problems, how do you communicate? How do you communicate with people who call you a racist but will call a conservative black person or cop the N word? We’ve raised an entire generation of narcissists and I’m not sure where the channels of communication can exist. I’m willing to middle ground but only on real problems. Massive issues all over and they want to focus on transgenders. That’s not a serious effort from them. It just isn’t.
^
The effort is in division, they want to divide to conquer
division is IN the statement, hes denying history and promoting his bias and racism
denial of genocide by him, is no different than neo nazis denying the holocaust
its even worse, because THIS was in America
You’re impossible
i have better things to do than defend murderers and tax deadbeats all day, thats up to you guys, i wont participate
murder is wrong, and its the US law that says that, but the rich avoid prosecution too often
have a hate day! i mean great day!
No one here likes that billionaires get away without paying taxes, but you don’t cutoff your nose to spite your face though.
Not sure why you keep posting that, you’re just preaching to the choir
Who is defending murderers….i just don’t get that statement.
David,
Show me a single occurrence of genocide in America. You don’t even know what the words mean that you use. That’s why people don’t you seriously. You need to start bringing in some articles with some real data in your arguments. Honestly, it makes you sound really stupid. Back your statements up.
do the Native Americans count?
yeah to me that’s the most under-represented and yet most disgusting target of racism in American history.

how much does bezos pay you to cover up his federal crimes? You do realize that You and Me would be prosecuted for cheating the IRS
-I asked you a question of proof of your claims, so far you haven’t provide any. Accusing me of taking bribes to covering up alleged crimes of a guy I don’t like is just bonkers. Again, Tax avoidance isn’t illegal. Every person has ways of lowering their tax hit through deductions. How can you run a business and not know this?
but instead, he is rewarded with subsidies, and still allowed to break the law
-Again, just a claim with no proof.
so you think laws should only apply to us, and not others? and give the lawbreakers subsidies too? i disagree
-Never once said that or came close to doing so. Back to the bonkers territory.
why cant citizens that DONT break the laws get to have million dollar subsidies?
-You still haven’t established that Bezos broke the law so this point isn’t valid.
we could start businesses and hire people also, and not likely to fire them for AI
-Again, not everyone is cut out for business and AI can’t replace everything, unless you eventually put AI into humanoid bodies. However, by that point the Skynet revolution will be upon us and we’ll resort to sending out buddies back in time to impregnate our mother for the sake of humanity.
Our smokin hot mom (had a huge crush on her) whose pregnancy ensures our own existence so really was it for the cause of humanity or cause of our own humanity lol.
David if you continue to live in the past you will never help the future. You cant fix what happened, and not punishment of yourself or others in our present relates to or is deserved by those in our past. The only thing about the past is to move past it and not repeat it and if you cant see we are lightyears past the 20’s then i doubt your eyesight.
SB7,
For the Trial of Tears, I would consider it a genocide. Probably what happened in California as well but it’s not quite as clear cut to me? Maybe because it wasn’t as well known.
Andrew Jackson perpetuated this crime against humanity even after the courts ruled for Indian rights. Do you think David was talking about them with all his Tulsa and ocecee talk?
I’ll let David speak for himself, but you asked for a single occurrence of genocide in America and I brought one up. It’s a pretty important one, no?
But what is your point? I was responding to David saying, “division is IN the statement, hes denying history and promoting his bias and racism. denial of genocide by him, is no different than neo nazis denying the holocaust. ”
Do you think I was doing this and where was I doing it? I don’t think David knows what he is talking about but since you want to defend his statement, maybe clarify your intent.

Hate of the rich is ridiculous, you dont like them, be one of them and be different, but they worked their way there, or someone in their past did, and that the American dream, that’s what almost everyone strives for. Just because you cant get there doesn’t mean they have to pay your way to be there. Im not one of them but i respect them enough for what they did to get there not to begrudge them their due respect.
👍
hate of the rich is ridiculous, its far better to let them rape us and hand over more money, right? they tricked you into being a servant for them , to carry out their agenda for free
why do some people like to suck the rich mans cock, and sell their soul to them while forking over their hard earned money?
fools and their money are soon parted
explaining finance , taxes, and laws,to a person that cant understand concepts, is like tossing pearls to swine, they wont know what to do with it and cant make a necklace out of it either, lol
If Warren Buffet offered you a job as his top crypto specialist at $5 million a year would you take it?
Post deleted by user. Its really not worth it lol.
no, because it would be an impossible job to do, and i wouldnt trust him on the salary
i refuse to lie to people and short their gains, im not a crook like Buffet is
rich men and criminals are crooks, not the investors
i can make gains on my own, and dont have to answer to buffet, be your own boss is better than depending on someone that hates you to give you some crumbs
Guess $5 million a year is crumbs to you. Buffet is known as one of the honorable people around (giving 98% of his billions to charity). And you really think that they’d offer a job if they hated you? You’d be part of the team. I’m thinking you’d take it in a second (I would), but guess will never know.

David is it better for everyone to be poor?
not everyone no
its better if ALL, repeat ALL taxpayers pay their Fair share imo
even the richest ones
and take away the subsidies, for example if AMazon cant make it without subsidies, then they arent a viable business
Amazon and bezos should not be expecting handouts from taxpayers, thats billionaire welfare
Top 1% of Americans pay 40% of the income taxes. What would be a “fair share” to you?
Often times those are incentives that stimulate economic growth and jobs but you understand taxes, finances and laws so you already knew that
that is misleading information, ill doesnt account for the richest that are breaking the law, and cheating the IRS by cooking the books on their returns
tell a cop its ok if you were speeding, because 40 percent of the people speed, you still get a ticket, lol

Stanger, what if a trafficker says ill give you 5 million if you drive this truck of heroin to the NY boy scout club?
is that a REAL job, or is it a crime?
Guess that was rhetorical. You really think Warren Buffet is the same as a drug dealer? One of the most respected men in America.
he gets no respect from people that understand HOW he makes his money
drug trafficking is a felony, but its far from the ONLY felony on the books, rich men get away with felonies all the time, because they are rich
ever been inside billionaires homes and talked to them before? most wont even talk to You , but a few do
when i did A.C in palm beach county , one lived right on the beach in Palm beach, and i asked him what he does for a living, lol
you would even know the name, he is famous and a descendent of a former president!
i wanted to know, lol
he told me, never ask a rich man how he made his money, he wont be honest, and if he was , you wouldnt want to know
i think the evidence suggests he was right
So the country respects Buffet but you know better apparently. Only been in a couple of their homes but guessing have met a few more billionaires than you. Wasn’t able to gain as much insight into them as you from your visits to do AC work though. You are a remarkable person.
Just gonna leave this here
Not sure I wanna hit play
i didnt, there is no joy in seeing an endangered fish , that doesnt even taste good get butchered up
these type of videos get posted to youtube, but the FL fish and game commission actually watch for them, they make arrests when applicable
every state makes their own laws on fish though, they might still be legal in some states, they are an amazing fish though, they are ancient fish, been here since the dinosaurs
If that is an endangered fish, that guy should be ratted out, don’t give him any hits
Trust me I didn’t. If I didn’t love meat so much I would be vegetarian because I love animals. I just can’t adjust to a vegetarian diet
i hope he didnt catch it in FL, they are endangered and catch and release only
You got me to look up. State of FL gives out 7,000 gator hunting permits each year.
David C, just to be clear, I never said the ultrawealthy are doing anything illegal by not paying taxes.
Also, I would use the description “minimize one’s tax liability” vs “tax avoidance” to avoid confusion. Tax fraud vs tax avoidance might be confusing, too, to some. Semantics, I get it. I just think not paying taxes because you are so wealthy you can legitimately “avoid” paying any taxes in any one year is a form of welfare to me, i.e. people on welfare don’t pay taxes. I’m certainly not happy about it, but that’s our tax law.
If you have the chops to create the wealth, income, and what comes with all of that, you deserve it. Just pay taxes in the process, like most of us have to.
good points, but, when there is a report showing that bezos only declared about 8 percent of his income, and didnt even pay the right amount on that.
thats illegal, the IRS expects taxpayers to report all income, not 8 percent of it
did bezos sell enough products to justify illegal activity? the IRs has penalties on unreported income, fines, fees, and even garnisment or arrest in some cases
did Bezos have to follow the laws like us, or is he above the law?
unfortunately, he can afford to be above the law, it doesnt apply to him?
I posted the video because it’s of the Ole Alligator Gar. Thought some might get the reference.
“Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana allow regulated sport fishing of alligator gar. “
Krishna, are you familiar with the term cooking the books? im sure You are
well he cooks the tax returns, fill in the blanks with numbers that arent true
the IRS frowns on that for most of us
just curious Krishna, what would You say to a customer, if he or she asked You to knowingly fake the return, and break the law?
a tax preparer would be liable if the IRS caught them cheating on the return, , right?
David,
Can you provide a link or source for these claims. You keep repeating that he falsely reported his income, committed fraud and committed crimes, but when I asked you for evidence you accused me being on his payroll and covering up his crimes among other things. Where is this report about the 8% of his income?
i provided several above, and there are dozens more online, this is pretty common information
and i did not accuse you of being on his payroll, the rich will get some people to defend their crimes for FREE
BUT You will research it and find out, i know that about you, good man, and good luck
I’ll turn realistic on the magarich not paying much in income taxes. Cause it is true. At least the megarich do not, or at least most of them. The reason is cause when you have complex holdings it is easy to turn what would be income for most of us into investments. You don’t pay an income tax on the growth of those each year. Only when you “cash out” of them. Then you pay a capitol gains tax, which is at a lesser rate than the income tax (least for them).
That’s why you see some guys net worth go up billions but his income tax bill low. They’re doing nothing illegal. Don’t like it change the system. Lot of small business owners do the same thing.
My father was a CPA and you cannot knowingly assist a client to violate the tax laws you would have to tell the client what they want to do is illegal and if they still insist you would have to tell the client he has to file on his own
i believe that is correct
I know that is correct both from the position of a CPA and also in my own as a lawyer
I’m gonna catch that alligator gar.

Lol, what an FN maroon.
Hope that’s not David trying to catch bezos
from Forbes Magazine
ProPublica found that while the median American household earning roughly $70,000 per year paid 14% in federal taxes each year, the 25 richest Americans (by Forbes’ tally) paid a “true tax rate” of just 3.4% on wealth growth of $401 billion between 2014 and 2018.
Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos paid a true tax rate of 0.98% as his wealth grew by a staggering $99 billion between 2014 and 2018; he reported just $4.22 billion in reported income during the same period.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/sarahhansen/2021/06/08/richest-americans-including-bezos-musk-and-buffett-paid-federal-income-taxes-equaling-just-34-of-401-billion-in-new-wealth-bombshell-report-shows/?sh=331a3167fe1b
does it sound like Bezos is paying his fair share at 0.98 percent? how many of us pay the same percent?
“on wealth growth” — that is the point. Don’t pay the taxes till you sell.
Pretty sure there’s a difference between wealth growth and income
My house value went up 70k last year, I didn’t pay income tax on the 70k
But did he do anything illegal? You use the term cooking the books but if he correctly deductions and other legal loopholes then that is the legal amount he owed. Should there be tax reform to close some of those loopholes? Absolutely imo but I don’t blame the person for taking advantage of the legal means presented to him?
99 billion, minus reported 4.22 billion, leaves about 94.88 billion of unreported income
thats cooking the books, tax evasion
they locked up al capone for this, lol
he probably didnt bribe them enough
Capone was locked up for income tax evasion, not the same thing as bozos.
I’d like to see the bozo arrested too, but I can’t make up the law
No that’s not tax evasion in any sense of the legal definition
Think we’ve established at this point that David doesn’t really get how the tax code works.
If Bezos gets murdered do we report it?
LOL most definitely I am sure the reward money will be good
Him getting murdered on that space flight by his brother would make for a great movie.
Wow!!! That’s crazy! LOL
Been watching Columbo lately…. guess explains why my mind went there once “murder” came up. Bored the heck out of me as a kid, just now learning how good it is.

As a matter of fact (less than a month ago), one of my clients (a doctor) was invested in various real estate projects and rentals. He was drawing money out of the business accounts on a monthly basis without supporting documentation in a lump sum for insurance, taxes, and distributions. I advised him, the IRS frowns on this and that he is creating a situation that he if one of his businesses were audited he was potentially opening up to further scrutiny to his personal records/bank accounts. I also advised him, that I would maintain a record of my correspondence/advice suggesting he do things differently, i.e. the right and legal way. If he didn’t he should probably move on. Instead, his response was that’s what he wanted me to do. To tell him truth and the right way to do it.
Some people mean it when they say, “tell me what I can and cannot do and the right way to do it”. Some don’t and they move on.
It’s really that simple.
Alligator Gar aren’t endangered in general, in some places due to draining of its habitat their numbers are dropping and they aren’t permitted to be fished. I don’t know anyone that actually fishes specifically for them but if they hook one they bring it in take a picture and release it because i don’t think they are very tasty. Big fish like that usually are pretty rank..
David do you have to go SJW on every subject lol.
Big fish have been around too long. Smaller fish are the best eating.
How do they compare to piss clams?
Don’t know, not a fan. LOL
They cant be as good as gooey ducks, nor as well hung.
From the earlier article referenced
“ProPublica’s “true tax rate” is a novel and sure-to-be-controversial measure of how much taxes an individual paid each year compared to Forbes’ calculation of how much their wealth grew during the same time, meaning that ProPublica is counting unrealized capital gains, which are not taxed under the current U.S. Tax Code.”
Nothing illegal, or immoral. Just a made up stat to get people angry about the ultra wealthy.
And, to follow up, you don’t have to cheat to make money/create wealth. That’s another myth.
Also back to the richie riches. You do realize personal taxes and corporate taxes are different right? Taxs breaks for business, not to be confused as a tax break on their personal revenues, are to incentivize certain things the business does to operate, like employment numbers, providing corporate insurance coverage, etc. So yeah they get a tax break but we benefit from those tax breaks in form of jobs and insurance coverage and a lot more. When it comes to his personal income, if he gets a tax break its available to all of us, he just has accountants that find him ever bit of wiggle room to minimize the amount he pays. Pretty sure you would do the same even if its on a smaller scale than him. I still dont understand wtf is the problem here.
I am pretty clear on the differences between payroll, unemployment, federal and personal income taxes, state income (Yay TX), state unemployment, sales tax and more. I also understand the concepts of double taxation, passive and active income, the differences between realized vs unrealized gains and losses, and tax implications.
I also understand the concepts of portfolio/asset management and how restructuring your assets/wealth can minimize tax consequences.
Probably, that’s why I call bullshit/ignorance about any of topics mentioned when someone replaces rhetoric with alternative facts.
Should have put in there David’s name since it was directed at him
I kinda thought it was assumed since I had only engaged him on the subject. My bad.
BTW, SB7, i got the reference but it was much funnier how it turned out lol. Its been a long time since i heard reference to that meme
Well meme might be a bit much its a local meme lol
Oh and BTW to settle it, Gary was both the father and the sons name.
“Eluemunor spent the past two seasons in New England but was not with the team during Brian Flores‘ Foxborough tenure. The Pats used Eluemunor as a starter in 2020 but made other moves at the position this offseason.”
“New England deployed Eluemunor as a first-stringer in eight games last season. Marcus Cannon‘s opt-out and Isaiah Wynn‘s latest injury trouble depleted the Pats at tackle, and Eluemunor also saw action inside. The Pats, however, picked up Wynn’s fifth-year option and reacquired Trent Brown via trade. Brown is set to play right tackle in his second New England stay.”
Eluemunor might be guy Grier liked back in 2017 and now he has a body of work. Competition!
One thing for sure on this blog, we discuss a lot of things that none of us really engage in. Everyone else does it though. The majority of Americans are not bad people. We focus on the loudest angry tribes.
Information overload is doing a good job at dividing people. Sad.
Yep, just admitted as much myself to pp on the essay he shared earlier. It’s a fucking battle to try and stay above it all.
Waste of time.
“With Timon getting waived I don’t feel as though I can continue with my career and I am hereby retiring”
Pumba
Lmao
We are bombarded with the bombastic….lol.
Had a reply for you above.
Thank you for clarifying.
Which players are key additions this year that we didn’t have last year? Mine are McKinney, Fuller, Waddle, Phillips and Holland. I’m not saying other additions aren’t good, it’s just that I think these guys are key to us taking the next step outside of Tua.
Ken, i think we kinda answered all that, tax evasion and underreporting income is illegal
, im ready to move on from tax deadbeats and felons now, i think We have put more research into it , than the IRS, lol
i dont really have anything else to add to it, im ready to see the Dolphins win some super bowls now, lol
But you don’t know if that he underreported. You have no evidence there was tax evasion. You don’t understand what you are saying
i think Marino really likes Tua, he had alot of things to say about him
but he mentioned how he likes how hard Tua is working, and how tua will benefit from OTA.s this year
When you’re a QB it’s always about you. Tua knows that. We all know that.
But there is the rest of the team to build. I’m liking it. There are a lot of positions being upgraded at the same time. The 2021 roster should be better than 2020 but the AFC is tough. I like that too. That’s how you know where you stand.
Nothing comes easy, next step is to feed the hunger left by a ten win season without playoffs, you feed the hunger by taking what you want. That’s where we are, hope those boys are hungry.
For a lot of guys that last game loss to the Bills stings. But it’s also a new year. Competitors always want to win. Looking forward to it.
