This was Eich’s “Welcome to the NFL” moment.
He was tripped by Kindley!
Good call….. still not a nice thing to go viral in his first game.
Don’t buy what this U75 is selling
Watch it again and see if you can figure out what really happened
Still looks bad to me. Ends up in a sack. You just saying should blame Kindley instead of him. Play ended up in a real bad sack….. someone screwed up.
Kindley needs to control his feet, can’t blame Eichenberg on that one
I mean not only was he tripped which was discussed a lot during the game and this guy missed it
But if these guys think careers are ended bc of one bad play, it highlights that their career should end
I know it’s just colorful language but
I really don’t like these sort of posts from professionals
Act like a professional dude
I like Penny! But he’s hurt all the time!
And there it is
That sucks like anything. He was running on the sideline wanting to get back in the game.
He may come back at some point this season and if so he should be ready for the stretch run
On the bright side, think we can get to the playoffs without him, Jenkins and Butler should be able to hold down the fort
Good question?
Because of how Herbert looked last year
If we don’t make the playoffs this year and Tua is the same QB at year’s end that he was last Sunday, then we need to take a closer look at him, until that happens just enjoy the season
If our QB was Mac Jones and we had lost 17-16 in our stadium, everyone here would be bitchin up a storm, that Jones is a dink and dunk game manager, that can’t put the ball in the EZ
Yep!
Yet, we have Tua haters who can say the same thing about Tua.
It’s true: Mac Jones outperformed Tua.
All we needed for people to bitch about Tua was that X forced fumble and recovery not to have happened.
IR is only 3 weeks
Minimum of 3 weeks, but leaves us wondering how bad Raekwon’s injury is.
So sad how one wrong move can be the end of it. She saw her boyfriend and didn’t think.
—————————————–
A woman who had a dog tethered to her waist with a leash was dragged to death by a train in San Francisco.
The woman had boarded a Bay Area Rapid Transit train at Powell Station with her dog and as the doors were about to close she stepped out but the dog stayed on the train. As the train took off, she was dragged, pulled onto the tracks and killed Monday. The dog was not injured.
A man who was hysterical on the platform said the woman killed was his girlfriend. “It was pretty grotesque because all the way down the platform … there was a bloodstain, about an inch and half wide, all the way down.”.
That’s horrible
I just about vomited upon reading this. SO saddening.
Do you guys think I predicted the announcement correctly?
Anyone know the severity of Raekwon’s injury?
The only thing anyone is saying is that he’s on IR and is out at least 3 weeks
Okay so maybe he hyper-extended it but not season ending.
we don’t really know from what I gather
Maybe he’s back in October – I hope so
We waived Turd Ferguson to make room for Fuller
https://phinphanatic.com/2021/09/14/fox-sports-doesnt-think-much-miami-dolphins-bills-matchup/
the Bills game provides an excellent opportunity for Miami to get their second win against a division opponent not named the jets
this would give Miami a 2 game lead over Buffalo, and only have one more Buffalo and NE game left on the schedule
the best way to make the playoffs, is to WIN THE DIVISION
while 2-0 is a long ways away from winning the division, its a great start
It’s going to be a tough game. We’d love to get to 2-0 and in the division and the Bills do not want to fall to 0-2. Just because the Bills got beat in week one does not mean they’re no longer favorites in the division. But yes this would be a huge win for us.

________
Lol, no they wouldn’t. Stop with these silly statements. There were people defending Chad Henne for years here.
LMAO
Count me as one of those who was not blown away by Mack Jones. I am not denying he played well but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. He got the ball in the end zone once. He rarely went down field. He never challenged our best DB. He was accurate and poised but I want to see how he will hold up once there is some real game film on him.
Damien Harris had his first 170 carries of his career without a fumble.
but on his 171th attempt, Xavien Howard forced and recovered the fumble
NOT HAVING DAVIS on the field will hurt our chances of beating the Bills. But, then, Davis missed almost all of the Patriots game and we still won, right??
—————————–
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. A fast, dry, field will help Miami’s stable of speedy receivers get open. So I’m hoping for lots of sunshine on “SUN” DAY, with highs in the 90’s and heat indexes above 100.
PERSONALLY, I prefer my Buffalo meat well done.
—————————–
SPEAKING OF HEAT, fans are urged NOT to give up should the Bills grab an early double digit lead. ALL OF US saw how the Jills choked-away a halftime lead against Pittsburgh last Sunday. And it was only in the 70’s in Orchard Park!!!
—————————-
I’m gonna study both this week’s injury reports AND the weather forecast for “SUN” DAY. If both of those factors are positive, I’m POSITIVE I’LL BE PICKIN’ THE FINS and, once again, getting some points to boot.
JUST GOT THE SUNDAY weather forecast for Miami Gardens. Partly cloudy with a high of 90 (the hottest day of the week). Rain chances 40%.
BURN, BABY, BURN!! –I can almost smell that well done Buffalo meat!

Ken – You’re in denial pal. I watched the game very closely from start to finish. He was money, standing tough in the pocket, beating pressure and getting first downs all day long. Could he have been better, I suppose he could have thrown a few TD’s but he was pretty darn good. That doesn’t mean his career trajectory is Tom Brady, but I can’t see how anyone who really watched the game can be anything but impressed with Mac Jones.
Yeah, considering most here thought he’d throw 2 INTs and be sacked 4 times against this vaunted D. Not to mention 2 fumbles by running backs that changed possession of the game, with 1 near the endzone that could have been a game winning drive. His future looks bright, however, I still maintain that we needed better coverage to compliment our pass rush or else he wouldn’t have looked as good. He did his part though. First ever NFL game against our D and he throws for nearly 300 yds, a score, and no INTs.
I am not unimpressed but I am not convinced of future greatness either. It was a good game for him but nothing more at this point. I didn’t see “special” written all over that performance
of course you didn’t, especially when he played better that tua, let’s not give him any credit,
how dare him!

that was a screwy game, we get beat in all phases accept TO’s yet come away with a win.
vintage bellichick, he was going to milk that clock kick the FG with no time left.
X punching that ball out was the difference
Bills next, I’m sure the last thing they want to do is start 0-2.
Tua will have to step up in this game
Tua plus about 50 other Dolphins will have to step up their game against the bills
Miamis defense will have to make a major leap forward, they cant let Allen have as much time to throw as they did for Jones
Say what you want about dink and dunk, they were moving the ball down the field with it. I don’t think they’re giving out style points, not yet anyway.
We won, all that matters but I think they have their QB. I was hoping he’d be awful.
i was hoping Wilson would do something, since he hasnt done anything in years
how many more years before we see Wilson make a play? this has to be his last season, its ridiculous to keep paying money for nothing and the chicks for free
Well, to your pleasure, this is the last season on his contract. So, you may get your wish.
Be careful of what you wish for though. Fuller, Wilson and Grant are gone after this season.
we will have the services of Will Fuller for this game, i expect he will be a huge upgrade over Wilson
Fuller and Waddle on the field together , will make the bills pay if they stack the box
how dare you say something bad about a dolphin player, that’s being a troll!
maybe you should find another team,
at the least, i keep it accurate, try the same
your accuracy is debatable
— WR Robert Foster, who had some really impressive moments during training camp but wasn’t able to land a spot on the Dolphins 53-man roster, has signed with the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
Mac Jones and his 16 points with a loss was impressive. Tua and his 17 points with a win is just meh. That’s how it goes sometimes. I’ll take meh every time. 😉
— QB Ryan Fitzpatrick officially was placed on injured reserve by the Washington Football Team. He’s expected to miss a considerable amount of time with a hip injury he sustained in Washington’s 20-16 season-opening loss against the L.A. Chargers.
Sorry Fitz, get well soon!
Happy Birthday Dan Marino turns 60 today
I know some people liked it, but I will say I didn’t like the Wildcat stuff or taking Tua out on those third and shorts. Tua needs to be in there during those critical downs IMO. If they’re going to commit to the guy, they need to commit to him. The fact that it worked doesn’t have any bearing on it. I want this team to be successful in the long term and I don’t feel those plays support the long term growth of this team.
Physically, I thought Tua looked great. He still needs to work on the mental part of the game, but he’s young and hasn’t played a full season yet, so it’s to be expected.
Of course you didn’t, because the mythical let Tua prove himself is more important, than a division road win
Because somehow Tua not being there and blocking, running in short yardage shows negatively
Steve,
I never said either of those things. If you’re going to make a comment on something I said, at least read the post and understand nuance and context. Thanks!
Makes as much sense as per your usghe
We all knew we were running it with Brissett and he delivered. Win the game! Don’t care about feelings. Tua is still a pup. In do time. 😉
Why couldn’t Tua be trusted to do those things? He’s our guy right?
I think it more a matter of Tua giving up 30 or 40 pounds to Brissett.
Brissett is a big man. Make the plays that win the game. It’s not about trust, it’s about situations.

Good stuff coming out of the coach’s mouths. It’s what I like to hear and hope to see on the field.
Parker – sideline, 50/50s
Fuller – deep
Waddle – catch and ‘run Jaylen, RUN’
What Fuller and Waddle provide, compared to last year, is the ability to get some Separation!
Davis going to IR was the move that allowed Fuller onto the 53, without having to cut someone
maybe the wildcat was just to make bellicheat freak out, lol
he did have an exasperated look on his face when we took his memory back to 2008 for a minute
The rbs rushed 17 times for 69 yards (51 more receiving) at just over 4 ypc, not great, but good enough
The lack of O plays didn’t help and doesn’t fall on the rbs
So so outing for them, not the reason we won, they also weren’t the reason we needed an X fumble to pull it out
Comparing to how Zeke performed on Thursday I’d say you really don’t need a top 5 back
Gavin Newsome crushed the California recall vote with 60%+ of the vote.
Larry Elder, the main GOP candidate, conceded graciously.
Donald Trump put out a press release saying the election was rigged.
Knew it would be
Knew it would be a landslide for Newsome?
Josh Allen had a great year last year, but it was one out of three. He is as likely to repeat 2018 or 2019 as he is to repeat 2020. Bills were crazy to give him that contract extension so early.
Year. Team. CMP%. YDS. TD. INT. Rating
2021. Bills. 58.8. 270. 1. 0. 79.7
2020. Bills. 69.2. 4,544. 37. 10. 107.2
2019. Bills. 58.8. 3,089. 20. 9. 85.3
2018. Bills. 52.8. 2,074. 10. 12. 67.9
Career
61.7. 9,977. 68. 31. 90.0
He sure impressed me. I wake up at night drenched with sweat thinking about that last game. They had nothing to play for but they were still ripping us apart. Their receivers would catch the ball and flop down to not take a hit cause didn’t want to risk injury. Still kept moving down the field.
Yeah, but you’re a Never Trumper so you don’t count.
Never Trumpers have feelings too. 🙂
Nuh uh!
The big deal and the difference maker in 2020 is the completion
So if he gets close to that again, he’ll be worth the $ IMO
I don’t think he will throw for 45tds again – no one does that 2 years in a row
But if he keeps that comp % up, he’s going to earn his money
I don’t disagree with this. We’ll see pretty quick if he can.
Woohoo
I’m exhausted
I just finished arguing a case in front of the Appellate Division of New York
That’s the 2nd highest court on NY just below their version of the Supreme Court at the state level
It’s my first argument in front of them
It’s also my first argument since pre-Covid
I was super nervous and the judges were tough
I’m glad it’s over
Now ready to drink bourbon until about 1pm Sunday….
🐖💨
Don’t forget the mud puddle.
That’s a tough gig. And know how hard you prepared for that hour or two. Enjoy that deserved bourbon.
Super stressed
Actually gonna go home and plant my head in a pillow
Then try out in some heavy lifting days on Thursday and Friday
Heck it is a time to decompress.
That’s funny!
There should have been a penalty for driving his weight in the QB going to the ground on the interception. In most other stadiums that would have been a penalty and an automatic first down.
Mac Jones can kiss my ass. I’m already tired of hearing about him. He played well enough to lose. If that’s good enough…then I hope he keeps playing just good enough to lose in NE for the next 20 years the little prick.
I was impressed. Figure the Pats found their QB for the future. But yeah was not impressed enough to think they have the next Tom Brady.
Just like the McRib?
He was on the Covid 19 list.
I know. It was a joke.
Wyoming doesnt have a funny bone, it got in the way of his quick draw, so he had it removed.
Assume that means he was sick. Explains why he didn’t play.
Give the big guy’s some props!
You play to win the game, not sure we’ve had that for a while
Fitz yes, can’t think of anyone else, since Danny
That says it all right there, and tells me he has the right attitude
Kind of looked like we caught them off guard with that quick slant.
Marino’s birthday and a former Laker’s birthday always throw me for a loop.
Marino’s is the same day as my ex girlfriend’s, and the Laker’s was the same day as mine, in the same year as my ex wife
Fuck this rain already! Back yard stating to flood.
yeah i have a carport at the bottom of a slope and my garage is currently filled with muddy water.

I agree up to the point he starts talking about Josh Allen
I like the WC from Brissett and Brown (Brown ran two true WC plays in a row). A lot of teams do that nowadays, have a specialty back or QB for short yardage/ change it up plays. It’s just another thing defenses have to prepare for.
That is awesome to read Tua checked into the slant play to Parker on the goalline. I’d rather lose the game by being aggressive in that situation than lose it by being cautious.
LOL @ “Can Tua and Dolphins rebound from this 1-0 start?”
here’s the (all 22) vid, kinda crazy, you have Hunt and kindley running head on into each other while the RB gets killed. you have two dbs covering the same wr while the other wr is wide open.
all in all Tua looked good
lots of mistakes though
clear holding call and PI call that went uncalled!
Eichenberg didn’t play very well, not sure why they dumped Flowers, i guess the $$$$
Flowers played OG not OT
for a short little side arm shit, Tua’s accuracy is pretty damn good
And at least he’s calm and has a presence this year. No more deer in headlights.
Phillips looks good!
I didn’t notice it, but I read the Pets doubled him quite a bit when he was in
That slant Tua threw to parker at the end of the game was a great read and play by him, sealed the deal.
And on Sunday he’ll have Fuller as an option as well. His top 3 WR options should be great. Long as none of them becomes a broken toy.
Gaskin ripping 5 or 6 right after that first down on first down was also huge.
What I took from that all-22 is our oline really needs to be a lot better.
looked like a chinese firedrill
Somepatriot jerk live steamed his reaction
Live streaming you watching a game is incredibly narcissistic, but guess he got what he deserved.
That’s all this next generation does. I worry when these promoted narcissists are the ones running our country. Of course Im sure our parents and grandparents thought the same.
LOL, absolutely
i I love the agony of defeat LOL
Maybe he was sleeping in the parking lot but Fluker was gone long before camp
Jameis got 5 TD’s only 148 yards passing.
That seems slutty sort of doesn’t it?
https://twitter.com/baldynfl/status/1437953481076248581?s=21
MJD might be right
I’m looking forward to his ascension to one of the most dangerous defensive players in the game.
I “see” whatever see is I see special in him. Gonna be fun.
SB7, regarding Brisket running those QB sneaks I’m like Tim when I saw it it didn’t bother me and even thought it was a good way to keep Brissett more involved. 6’4 235 stands a much better chance than a buck and a half or whatever.
To me it had less to do with Tua and more about what was better for the team with the resources we have. I even liked the wild cat I thought when we did it was well placed and a little bit effective. Seeing Brown in the 34 at Foxboro was wild.
Question
Can vegans and vegetarians eat pudding?
No.
You can’t have any pudding if you don’t eat yer meat
Miami 3.5 dawgs, who’s your wallet on?
He revealed that Roberts accurately called out the Patriots’ play in the middle of it.
“Yeah, I mean, it was just kind of fun and games,” Jones said, via NESN. “It was just in the middle of a play. They actually called out our play. So, I was like, ‘Ah, nice catch.’

Hope your argument went well. I love appellate work. Unfortunately I don’t get to do enough of it
It was okay
I thought the judges were tough on me. I really have to sleep on it. Not sure where they are leaning.
In just about every appellate case the decision is already made before the argument occurs. The judges are often times are looking for some snippet of information they could include in the decision somewhere
Has anybody seen this? I think it played over the weekend during the stej-Panthers game… pretty nicely done! Gotta love anything that disrespects the stej…
Sheesh, no takers. Tough crowd tonight!
That was awesome. I sent it to the fam.

Watching the Bills replay.
They have like 25 penalty’s in the first half it seems like!
Holding, holding, holding!!!!!!!
Tough game ahead with the Bills, looking forward to it. Get tested and find out where you are as a team right away against a good team. The Pats was a great road win, but I see them as a 9-8 team. The Bills will be in the playoffs.

Screw YOU, Tannenbaum! What a clown. SMH
Don’t worry about the pundits, Tua. Just keep winning games because that is what you do.
Says the man who drafted Mark Sanchez
If you take your Dolphins cap off and look at the team from an objective viewpoint you see a very young team not at their best yet and they can already compete. Good times ahead folks! 🙂

I wouldn’t be concerned if the coaching staff hadn’t pulled him in games last year and now they’re pulling him in situations. It just doesn’t sit well with me. I would just like to see a full commitment to his development because he needs it for the long term success of this franchise.
You don’t need a big guy to perform a QB sneak either. This whole “play to win the game” and “a win is a win” cliches are great for single games in the season but we’ve been sitting at home and having one and dones during the playoffs for too long. It starts to feel like deja vu. I hope I’m wrong and this team progresses properly to where we are a perennial contender for the Super Bowl. My spider sense is tingling after the first game though. They’ll be on notice.
Other teams have done the same thing and it’s not that unusual. Saints were doing it for a couple of seasons with Taysom Hill
Remember this
Loved Louis Oliver! Played hard and hit hard.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACK HOLLINS
i remember when polite use to run the short runs for 1st down, he would get it every time. since then there hasn’t been a reliable player or play to pick up that yard on a consistent basis.
i remember gase trying to throw the ball in that situation, very high degree of difficulty, very inconsistent, one of the things that cost him his job as we were unable to extend a lot of drives that we would’ve if we had a bread & butter play like that.
I don’t care who runs that QB sneak, picking up that one yard on a consistent basis is a vital part of winning.
be aware of the situation and the best way to resolve it with the highest consistency rate = winning!
I have to say I agree with you. If the Saints could pull Drew Brees for a few plays that pick up important first downs converting a 3rd and short and 4th short then we can pull Tua and put in Brissett. I think of it more of preserving Tua and keeping him healthy than pulling him because he can’t do it, but that’s just my feeling.
Odd way of looking at it
If you have a sand wedge in your bag, why would you use a putter in a sand trap
In this case i believe Brissett is the sand wedge
Where the Steelers succeeded defensively was in getting pressure on Josh Allen and never letting him be comfortable in the pocket. Beyond that, the Steelers tackled really well in that game. Where the Dolphins will have an issue duplicating what Pittsburgh did is that the Steelers generally got pressure with four guys rushing, allowing them to have seven in coverage. The Dolphins don’t always succeed at getting pressure on the quarterback rushing only four. That will be the biggest challenge.
Can they slow down Josh Allen? Sure, because they have a good defense. But the history isn’t very good considering Allen is 5-1 against Miami with a passer rating over 110 in each of the last five and a career-high 135 rushing yards in the first. How? When it comes to defense, I’m always a believer is getting pressure on the QB. Getting a pick or two obviously would help.
Someone other than Ogbah on the the front 7 is going to have get pressure. Van Ginkel hopefully wakes the fuck up and Phillips needs to get involved too. I hate to have to rely on the blitz. I mean that’s why we dumped Shaq Lawson becau8se he couldn’t get pressure. AVG and Phillips will have to be a lot better this week or it could be a long day for us.
Louis Oliver had 1 less INT than Xavien Howard in his first 5 seasons, all the while laying some serious lumber too. Love Oliver, great player for the Dolphins. BIG safety!
One of my favorite Dolphins all time and UF Gator.
BTW, that play where the two DB’s were covering the same guy, that was the first big mistake of the game that i saw. Needham actually was to blame on that one. First big gainer for the Pats, a chance to force them to punt on 3rd and long and miscommunications and they get it and continue to drive. Kind of expect mistakes like this in the first game though. All in all the game wasn’t a bad game 1, it was just a pretty normal game 1 and not what fans wanna see out the gate. Im a firm believe is no premonitions can be made on a game one so we just need to hold tight and let the season wind around. Next game is a toughie, so we need to clean up some things fast.
About pulling Tua for some wildcat and brisset plays, hey anything to screw with the opposing DCs. Also it’s a long season now, so reducing wear and tear on all players is good especially a smallish QB.
Also that INT was like a punt. I’m OK with it. It had a better chance of retaining possession than a punt or would’ve been a really long sack.
It hit Wilson and Gesicki in the hands, so it was a dumb luck grab by the DB. They were gonna get the ball back anyway.
Maybe a punt returned 40 yards
The bad part was rolling Tua to his right so he had to throw awkwardly if in trouble. WRs should’ve gotten open for the first down and OL should’ve given Tua time for a medium route to develop.
Tua was scrambling, he first went left, then turned back to the right, because of passrush
You are probably correct, as Kindley leaked from the left side, which would’ve forced Tua to his right and that would explain why Gesicki and Wilson ended up in the same spot, as both were in the scramble drill trying to come back to Tua and present a target near the sideline so an INT would not become a pick 6.
Tua had a bad percentage for medium length passes because the line could not sustain a pocket, especially Kindley.
Tua had 3 open receivers on that play. In addition to the obvious TE right in front of him, Carter in the back corner and somebody right in the middle of the EZ.
Everyone was open!
Another reason Tua is better this year, he can change the play or run plays like this where he has multiple options
Imagine if he had thrown to Smythe and he dropped it, sure could’ve padded his passing stats with a td and why I hate some stats, but a drop may have cost us the game
Agreed and thought it was a great decision he made to run it in.
I wonder if our “Best 5” OL is Liam at LG instead of Kindley. Shame to lose his road grading in the run game though. I think he was better at RG, but Hunt needs to play there. Davis did well at RT, so we can’t just yank him out.
Maybe an injury will force a decsion, but I hope we stay healthy.
Kindley graded out high, not sure what you saw to be down on him
Sometimes Ds run stunts or send several passrushers or even run blitz, that require some on the fly thought by the OL
When you play Belicheat you can be assured he’s going to give you multiple looks and throw everything at you
What I’m getting at is don’t condemn the OL for being tricked or outsmarted, especially week 1
Pretty sure they know they need to improve, but at least the O was able to function adequately, and the stuff they didn’t do very good at is correctable

Player Pass-blocking grade Pass-blocking snaps Pressures allowed
Robert Hunt 60.4 29 1
Liam Eichenberg 65.5 29 2
Solomon Kindley 35.2 29 2
Michael Deiter 61.0 29 2
Jesse Davis 76.6 29 2
I like Kindley but a 35.2 is not good.
The report I read said, he had an overall grade of B- and was good pass blocking
Seems different strokes

I have to say I agree with you. If the Saints could pull Drew Brees for a few plays that pick up important first downs converting a 3rd and short and 4th short then we can pull Tua and put in Brissett. I think of it more of preserving Tua and keeping him healthy than pulling him because he can’t do it, but that’s just my feeling.
_____
The difference being that Tua is developing on a team that hasn’t done anything yet and Brees was an established QB on an established perennial playoff team. That’s the context that keeps getting missed in the discussion. Regardless, we’ll see how the season plays out. It just gave me bad vibes when I saw it.
Lame as usual
What difference does it make, if one QB is established and the other is developing?
You play to win the game
You use the players on your roster and put them in situations that brings out the best of their ability
Maybe you’re insinuating that Tua has an ego or confidence problem and taking him out is bad for him?
A mistaken impression is that AVG had a bad game, but for some reason he did not play plays I think of as his strong suit.
again from the article above,
“the Dolphins sacked Jones on the opening drive of the game but failed to get to him again despite causing 19 pressures as a team. Andrew Van Ginkel played just 14 pass rush snaps but recorded a team-high four pressures.”
Seems to be the same thing as last year, gets lots of pressures per passrush, so why not rush him more?
Maybe it’s part of Flores’ plan, rush him too much and the element of surprise isn’t there

Good news is only 107 yards
Bad is 14-18
Stats schmats when they occurred is important too. 3-10 giving up a 9 yard completion is a good job, if they punted
Mac Jones threw for 281 yards. Maybe don’t get how PFF does it, or maybe the guy who got burned to black toast ain’t included.
So our CBs were only thrown on a combined four times all game. And they were short. That’s not exactly testing them.
Exactly why I think some of the initial praise being heaped on Mac Jones may be premature. That is also not in anyway me saying he played poorly
noticed that discrepancy as well stanger, but what is not shown is completions against the linebackers. Baker was noted as having had a rough day. As follows:
“Linebackers
Jerome Baker was the only linebacker to play nearly every snap but didn’t have the best day stopping the run or in coverage, with both grades ranking among the worst on the team. Baker had the difficult task of guarding James White out of the backfield and allowed six receptions, the most of any Dolphins defender.”
That would mean 60% of the yardage against LBs or back ups. Dink and dunk it was. Guess a good way to give your rook QB a ease in game, but also might be cause the evil one knew not to test X and Jones.
both true
Think sometimes we over analyze things
The DBs looked great in coverage, but the LBs…
It’s a team effort, sure seems like we were giving up the short stuff, so who ever was in coverage was going to look bad
