My wife not really into fishing or eating it … I used to like fishing as a kid , then drinking in a boat with a rod as a young adult , since then it just does t interest me much … I do enjoy eating it though

She’s now thinking we are gonna be pissed we didn’t stay there now 🤔🤡. We will make the most of a day or so there … all be good

All of you going to the fest have a great time. Because not many people here do. LOL

I have to agree with New Age on the OL shuffling. We had an entire offseason and preseason to figure this shit out. It’s like they didn’t figure anything out and are way behind the curve. They should have kept Flowers. He was a monster at LG and helped Jackson a lot last year. I know he had a big contract but seemed to be worth every penny.

IMO, this was a bone head move on Grier (Re: Flowers). The verdict is still out on his 1st round picks but I don’t get this one. We only saved 2mil trading Flowers back to WFT. Only got a swap of 7th round picks which, in reality, is nothing and had to take an 8mil cap hit on the rest of it.

  6. bailbondmike says:

I wanted us to sign Hassan Reddick in the offseason. He has 1.5 sacks in every game so far this season (4.5 total). He signed with Carolina on 1 year deal for only 6mil.

  7. bailbondmike says:

Going from NY Jets to Carolina and starting out 3-0, Sam Darnold must feel like he went to sleep and woke up in a different dimension. lol

  8. bailbondmike says:

M13, TM gaining notoriety. Got mentioned on the Dan Bongino Show.

  9. Tim Knight says:

What is all the shuffling you’re all taking about? What is it?

Flowers is now the key? He was a LT that Giants fans hated – became a LG with the WFT. They couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. Now he’s the key. Wow!!!! LOL

Do any of you remember what you said about this guy the last couple of years?

Armchair GMs are always prominent when it doesn’t work out right. If we only had Flowers. LOL

    • bailbondmike says:

“They couldn’t get rid of him fast enough.”
      ———————————–
I have to disagree on that. WFT wanted to resign Flowers but we outbid them at 3 years for 30mil. WFT gladly traded with us to get him back, especially at a discount where they get him for the final 2 years of that contract for 12mil. Flowers cost us 18mil for one season. That’s not very good GM’ing.

      You’re damn right! 😉

I agree with you on Flowers BBM, I’ve been saying that for a while, why did we dump Flowers? A veteran OL presence, we have 4 very young guys and Davis on that line now.
same with Mckinney shoring up our run D on 1st & 2nd down

Man! My Hunting trip with my Bro is being cancelled. He booked it without checking (and the outfitter didn’t realize or didn’t tell him either) that Elk Season ends 4 days before the scheduled trip. There are two seasons in CO Oct 16-20 and then second season Oct 30-Nov 7th. The change the dates to align with weekend starts. Last year second season started on his birthday.

We are going to talk more this weekend about what to do for his B-day but I may talk him into coming to FL.

I know all the seats are accounted for but I may just show up and scalp a ticket, or at least come to D&B depending on what he and I can work out this weekend.

  13. ocalarob says:

after that 35-0 drubbing, i had seen some posters around here condescendingly say “oh we should have kicked the FG”
that’s a very lame statement from an uneducated fan.

It was early in the game.

of course we should have kicked a FG, going away with no points after a crucial drive is team demoralizing, it set the mental tone for the blowout. and that’s what we got.

someone else said, Waddle fumbled because he has to “maintain possession all the way to the ground” another ignorant comment.
He gained back possession and his elbow hit the ground before losing it again. 1 elbow = 2 feet.
a blown call by both the refs and the narrator of that comment.

i had seen some pretty stupid comments

  14. Rockphin says:

Cassidy Outfitters was the name of the Guide / Tour company by the way. I forgot to post it last week when someone asked. Don’t know how good they are, but they didn’t tell my Bro that Elk season was not in when they took our deposit!

  15. Rockphin says:

There is no draft pick compensation reason to root against Huston anymore is there? We are supposed to be rooting against SanFran now right?

Like I said, musical chairs. You don’t need your starting OL to play all 5 positions. That’s for less talented backups. You set a position, teach them what to do, and then you don’t have your guards pulling into each other in a real game because they are having problems learning the game.

    • steveccnv says:

That should be a given, but sometimes think Flores tries to do too much and wants the results yesterday, before doing the basics

Flores being a D guy, he sometimes seems O retarded

Give him as many years as he needs to figure it out, but please do it sooner than later

    • steveccnv says:

Raiders have 1 passrusher and he’s an LDE, put Hunt back at RT for this game and the rest of the OL will be fine

  18. Rockphin says:

From the SI article New Age posted

“When it comes to Hunt, who started 11 games in 2020, let’s just say it’s a safe assumption he’ll end up in the starting lineup.

When Pro Football Focus ranked its top players at every position heading into the 2021 season, the analytics site made Hunt the only Dolphins offensive lineman among its top 32 at a position. Hunt was ranked among the guards.

Wherever he lines up, Hunt should play a big role for the Dolphins in 2021.”

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm……………………………..

  19. CavalierKong says:

In regards to the Waddle fumble, I thought he recovered it, but Pereira, an ex-ref, made the exact same call as the game ref before the game ref called it. Maybe they know something about the application of the rules in that situation that we don’t.

I looked up legal recovery in the NFL 2020 rules book, and the referenced page is missing. Coincidence? I think not!

On the other side of this, I’ve seen a player get two hands on the ball with two feet down, falling down out of bounds get called with a legal recovery even though he didn’t make a football move, so I have no idea why that would be different than Waddle’s recovery…

As for the fg, why kick a meaningless fg during ‘garbage time’? 😂😂

    • ocalarob says:

Still early. Not garbage time and that want a fumble. He was down

      • CavalierKong says:

lol, I was poking fun, you just called it garbage time the other day when you were giving your explanation why Brissett’s struggles didn’t count the same way as Tua’s.

At the time I was ok not kicking the fg because it looked like our defense wasn’t going to even slow down the Bills after they’d scored 2 easy TDs, but in retrospect after seeing our defense tighten up that 1st half, I agree it was a mistake not to kick it- not that it would have made a difference since we couldn’t block anybody.

Coach on the run game: We want to move the ball effectively, we want to have balance. Screens, RPOs, pass, run, however the best way to move it. We have to be more efficiently offensively.

Coach on Crosby and Ngakoue: They’re good in the run game and pass game. There’s a myriad of ways to try to limit their productivity. At the end of the day it’s about execution.

I sure hope waller doesnt hammer us again.

    Rowe needs to step up

  22. ocalarob says:

I think the fumble call had more to do with did he regain possession long enough. Sure looked like he did have the ball secure when his elbow hit

    • ocalarob says:

If they had any doubt they would have to go with the call on the field. Sure looked like he had it

    • CavalierKong says:

I almost threw my football at the big screen when the ref made the call, lol. We were still in the game and would have had the ball at midfield.

    • steveccnv says:

What play are you guys referring to?

      • CavalierKong says:

When Waddle fumbled the punt return at midfield (I believe it was the 2nd quarter). He got two hands on the ball during the fumble recovery as he was falling to the ground and his elbow hit the ground and dislodged the ball, Bills recover. The debate is should he have been down because he had recovery when elbow hit the ground (he had been contacted by a defender).

Both Pereria and the game ref said he never got recovery because he didn’t make a football move.

The Toba’s and Rock that’s so awesome

You guys all get your tickets from Stanger and I’ll take care of the difference he gets those tickets for this group so however many more we need I will get them so don’t even worry about tickets I’m just so glad you guys can make it. I guess potentially for Rock at this point.

    • stangerx says:

That’s kind of you Son, but in no way required. You reserve a seat and you’ve reserved a seat. But if you want to play slack picker up won’t stop you. And Phish did offer his 2 extras up to you, even if wouldn’t cover Rock and his bro (just the Tobas).

So 2 weeks worth of video’s of 15,000 people crossing our southern border.
and our governments response is to remove horses?????????????

    WTF is that?????????????????

12,000 people were caught and released into the country!

  26. CavalierKong says:

So after the Cards have swept the Mets, Padres, and Brewers in their last three series, I would almost be willing to put money down we lose our 1st game to the lowly Cubs today. That is just the way these kinds of things go, lol.

(I left this on the old board so it’s not front and center on the new one because…you know…tact and stuff…lol)
