This place is a roller coaster, right now we are riding high, everyone has the peaches and cream mindset. but just 7 short weeks ago “it puts the lotion in the basket” mindset. most were kicking this team in the teeth.
until we win something of importance i think somewhere around even keel is the best mindset. it’s best to tend to go lower when everyone is high and higher when everyone is low.
try to even out the hills and valleys.
Everyone is different. I’m enjoying this win streak, but I know we can’t let down for a second. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying what we’ve done. Still, Beating TEN in their house will be a tough task, but at least we don’t have to go up against Derrick Henry. BTW, we have won something of importance, all 7 games in a row. Now that we’re relevant and in the playoff picture, these next 2 are even harder. I hope we’re up to the task.
People are happy we have a shot at the playoffs after starting 1-7 and rightfully so. They were unhappy that we were 1- 7 after having a 10 win season and rightfully so. This team deserved every bit of it’s criticism and every bit of it’s praise.
When people are adults they can hold both opinions and give honest critiques. Should we not be able to enjoy this team until they go undefeated and win a Super Bowl?
sounds reasonable =)

Yessir, and that’s something many of the tallest QBs need to overcome. And clearly, it’s something that Mike Glennon has never overcome at 6’7″.
_____
That’s because 18″ of it is neck.
Every time I see Jeff Darlington’s name, I’m reminded of the tie he traveled to MIssissippi to stir up rumors about Brett Favre coming to the Dolphins and got a door shut in his face.
“You’re from Miami?” Favre asked. “Don’t you have anything better to do?”
lol
only a lonely jets fan like orob, wouldnt find happiness in a 7 game win streak
i mean how could he, when gas went up 10 cents a gallon and gave him economic ruin?
a big part of it, is because Tua made him look stupid, so he doubles down on dumb to avoid admitting when hes wrong
gas is up a buck twenty moron
the NFL has never had a QB over 6 6 that was any good, but have had many QB less than 6 2 that were good
the NFL isnt the NBA,
QB.s dont have to box out under a 10 foot rim
but they DO have to avoid the pass rush, and a Flutie or Murray type athlete, is better suited for that
I find it difficult to understand how some can’t see a 7 game win streak following a 7 game losing streak, righting the ship, so to speak, a “lollipop” thing. Must always see the world as a glass half empty.
Too bad, so sad…lol!
….no matter what happens next, the team made a statement. I’m all for that!
i see the dolphins world as the glass half empty right now, when we were 1-7 i saw it as half full.
i know this contradicts your point of view but it’s how i roll.
Like I said, I find it difficult to understand.
look at it this way, if you are starting out in life, working. wouldn’t it be better to have the mindset of a glass half full, or would you pity yourself with a glass half empty?
on the other hand if you were at the top of your game and wanted to stay there wouldn’t it be better to view it as a glass half empty to keep you on your toes?
NO! Absolutely not!
I would prefer to acknowledge where I’m at, look myself in the mirror, and evaluate whether I want to change. Simple….
Perhaps, a different view or question might be….can they take the next step?
How does one keep a team together, buy in to effort after being 1-7, and dealing with trade rumor drama from mgt, to win next 7?
Next step and new psyche for this organization are the next 2 games….are they there? We shall see….
and if they do take the next step the glass will be full
They need to take the next step, for sure! Enough bullshit….
i think this offense is very challenged. the defense has been carrying this team.
the offense seems to rely too heavy on trickery and misdirection instead of smash mouth dominance. i just don’t see teams like that on the next level.
You need the horses up front Rob. They’re the same reason why we can’t run, and why we have this short passing game. It’s predicated on getting rid of the ball very quickly. It’s designed to cut down on sacks and getting the QB killed. We need to upgrade the O-line, I’m sure it will be a huge priority next season
this team is structured around Tua, the OL doesn’t know if it’s a run or pass, they play the same every down, they don’t fire off the ball, this RPO deal is the problem but we have to play this type due to Tua.
it all falls back on his lack of arm strength IMO.
it’s stupid to see some of these posters who disagree with an opinion which has nothing to do with them go on the offensive. they seem to be insulted by an opinion about a game so they turn it into a personal matter and retaliate. and there are others around here who are of higher intelligence who refrain from that, and kudos to them.
if i disagree with an opinion, i’ll try to reasonably explain my disagreement, if i think that opinion is outlandish i don’t respond.
Random….lol.
Are you telling me I can’t disagree with your opinion and state as much because that offends you? Lmao!
no, i just don’t understand why you feel offended by my opinion? you’re the one who takes offense by a football post and retaliates personally.
i get it though, because you disagree with my post you want to show the world how great you are. so in your mind kicking me down achieves that.
it’s a common character flaw.
they call it small mans disease. or inferiority complex.
you feel inferior so you try to drag me down to your level instead of rising to mine
No, he’s telling you it’s his opinion, it’s not meant to be right or wrong, it’s meant to be his view on the situation
Not sure why so many get their panties in a knot over opinions
Hey Jim, how do you feel about the Fins O?
Jim: OL is playing great, can’t believe turn around
George: you’re wrong the OL sucks…
Krishna, you remind me of David level posts, i know you’re smarter than that and just may be unaware so i’m pointing it out
lol nice try
we NOTICE when you DOUBLE down on DUMB
heres a dime for your economic ruinous gas fund
David you should just keep it football, I still love you buddy.
I don’t think having a revolving door on the OL is the answer, they need to play as a group. it takes time to achieve that. sure we may plug in one or at most two, but they had better be vets.
you often DONT think , thats a big part of your overall problem, and why you are in economic ruin
football responses only please
Watching Book on Monday reminded me of Tannehill, bails too early and to the outside, 10 yards from LOS, so that the D has a chance to catch up before he gets any yards
Tua scrambles forward, so once clear, he’s close enough to LOS to run and pick up yards or pick apart thru the air
When watching Tua do this I get excited mid play, because something good usually follows
Watching film study videos of Tua, they show him using his eyes to move defenders and throw open his receivers
His intangibles are off the chart and have as much to do with the winning streak as anything
Put Herbert or Burrow on this O and would be surprised, if they are as good
Jalen Phillips didnt show up on the stat sheet, but he was close a few times.
——————————————
That was because he was up against Terron Armstead.
Who is a FA
Yes, but do we need him as a LT or do we need a RT like Trent Brown to replace Davis?
Or Both? lol
I think a RB room with Duke, Lindsay, Penny, and Gaskin would be excellent AND not cost much.
Penny is a big back and fast.
I don’t think we need that top 5 or even top 10 RB. We just need a staple of RB’s other team’s have to respect.
With the addition of Duke and Lindsay, team’s are already having to respect our run game.
i thought Book has talent. peyton knows how to recruit qbs
book looked talented throwing away that fourth and One, lol
damn son, dumb comes natural for ya
And clueless comes natural for others
yea, but im not picking on you today
but you are also DUMB if you like that fourth and one toss away, jus sayin
that was so stupid even the geico caveman recognized it as a stupid play
Do you have issues keeping to the subject?
What does Book doing something stupid have to do with his talent level?
Steve, don’t you know that you can determine a players talent level based off one play. Gee, you must be “DUMB” also. lol
This D had Book under extreme pressure, especially with both starting tackles out for N.O.
got to give Flores credit for his D, it may be the best D in the league.
I just thought Book did a good job considering the circumstances.
im sure you liked any QB that lost the game, lol jests fan!
too bad u hate the QB that always WINS games
I don’t think i’ve seen a better defense this year, i wonder where we are in sacks, we have to be among the leagues best.
BBM,
I’d still love to draft a Javonte Williams type.
Yeah, that would be nice. I think there may be some mid round guys who could fit that bill like Ford from Cincinnati. I am interested in seeing how he does vs Alabama. QB Desmond Ridder as well where I think this game will have a huge impact on his draft status.

He can’t. He’s a child who will never grow up. Also, a narcissist who has to insult others just to make him feel better about himself and to try and cover up his own insecurities.
YOU were the idiot that wanted to argue it was a good idea to toss the ball away on fourth down, thats all ya got?
it WAS< FOR MIAMI, lol
You are basing your argument off ONE PLAY and that’s all you got. Who’s the idiot now.
I don’t believe Penny is the answer at RB. I am not opposed to signing him but his history suggests he is not a #1 back. I think we need to have that guy who is the feature back going forward. We have neglected that position for all 3 years of this current FO and we need to correct it
we need a derrick henry powerhouse, unfortunately that’s not how this offense rolls, they don’t try to over power you they try to out finesse you.
it all falls back to the RPO, and the reason we run that has to do with Tua’s arm strength.
JMO
I think Tua has proven you wrong on the arm strength multiple times. Other teams run the RPO at the pro level. It’s lack of talent on the OL that is the problem. FWIW I would love to have Derrick Henry type.
The teams that are winning SBs don’t seem to take that route, they seem to find the guy that works in their system
Cheats tried with Michel, but got rid of him, others have done the same
When you have that highly drafted RB you have to feed them, and at times it hurts your O
Then they finally start to make a difference like for Dal/NYG/Rams then get hurt
I want a few RBs that get the job done, about like what we have now
Get rid of Brown and bring in Penney, would work for next year
Ken, we can all agree that Penny is not a #1 but a RB room with Duke, Lindsay, Penny and Gaskin would be really good once we fix the OL. Add another RB with our 3rd or 4th round pick to upgrade more.
IMO, Seattle has stuck with Penny this long so there is something they really like about him. I think they resign him anyway.
I am not disagreeing with that at all
BBM I would love to get Armstead at LT and draft a RT. You can also move Eich to RT
I really like Duke Johnson as our starting RB. that’s huge moving forward, he will take some of the pressure of Tua.
He and Lindsay seem to be a better duo than Gaskin and Ahmed
its spelled “OFF”, OFF Tua
correct
Thank you grammar police 🙄
To me it’s a trio of Duke, Lindsey and Gaskin
I don’t think it’s wise to discard Gaskin based on what have you done for me lately
The reality is, with the exception of really dominant backs, sometimes fresh legs fade a little, but a real solid rotation of 3 guys you know you can count on can keep us giving the ball to whomever has the hot hand
I think they made the right decision vs the saints leaving Ahmed inactive. I don’t see Ahmed as having a future here
Right now Duke is hungry. Feed him. Don’t forget your other backs
I’m pumped to see how this D gets after the greatly oblivious to the pass rush Tannehill. i hope they have a stretcher for him.
Tua haters BBM and OROB
try to understand some Dolphin fans LIKE to win games, and like our current team
obviously its not You guys that like to praise the losers
Go back over every blog for the last 12 months and tell me if you find anything negative I have said about Tua.
I said you can’t judge someone’s talent based on one play and that makes me a Tua hater?
I almost bought his fucking Jersey when I went to the Jets game. I didn’t though cuase I had never had a Marino jersey so I bought a Marino throwback jersey instead. I guess that makes me a Tua hater also because I picked Dan the Man over Tua.
You are such a child. Time to take off your onesie and go to work little boy.
BBMike
I don’t think Armstead was active against us. I didn’t see him
I don’t remember either. I guess their backup LT didn’t do half bad then. Can’t say the same for the backup RT though. You could say that their backup RT played as well (or as poorly) as our starting RT. Not good.
I think this D is very complicated, and takes time to learn all the nuances. Therefore resigning Ogbah is critical for not having a slow start! And another learning curve!
Sign a starting caliber RT!
Resign the key FA’s that contribute!
Draft BPA!!!!!!!!
Sign RT Trent Brown from Pats. Help us and hurt them.
I tend to think you start the off-season by re-singing guys like ogbah too
Then turn to how you can improve OL
The hopefully we can use the draft to fill out some other places
I don’t think a trade down is out of the question this year if we are thinking about multiple skill positions (WR & RB) or additional pass rushers in the draft . If we had 3 picks in the top 60, we can add a lot of talent.
I think there were a few players on offence that did not buy in on the scheme / play calls / whatever they didn’t like!
Flores is definitely not going to be for everyone! That should be the first thing we ask any FA thinking of coming in!
Are you going to buy into the SYSTEM????
If not fuck off!
I’m not sure the system on offense is firmly set in place
Defensively we have a real identity – basically we can ask defensive free agents, do you like blitzing?….lol
I think the revolving OC door has a lot to do with our problems on offense.
If we change it again are we just inviting another learning curve / frustrating start to the season?
Everyone asked were Phillips was!
Well I say him drop into coverage a lot Monday night!
Some Rushers aren’t going to be OK with that!
David did you wake up this morning and decided to piss in the cornflakes? And I don’t really disagree with your football opinions but I disagree with the antagonism in which they are posted. I too have been guilty of being antagonistic at times as well. The one take away from Stanger’s current situation that I have taken is to appreciate all the bloggers here even the ones I disagree with. Stanger loves this blog and that is my way of trying to carry on his spirit here in his absence until he returns.
^^^ 100%
no, just tired of fake fans always bashing our players and praising losers
but agreed with Stanger, i hope he has a quick recovery and gets to see the Dolphins win the super bowl, lol
The crazy thing about Duke Johson is we haven’t really used him in the passing game much. The guy averaged over 50 catches a season in Houston with nearly a 10 yard avg.

Coach on John Madden — sad day for football. The amount of lives he touched as a coach, a person, a husband, a father…he’s up there on the Mount Everest of coaching, commentating. I never met him but from all the things I’ve heard he’s an even better human being.
One of the top defensive players in the league — Coach Flores on Jeffery Simmons.
Cethan Carter, Duke Riley, Robert Jones, Justin Coleman and Greg Mancz will all come off the COVID list today and return to the Dolphins, per Coach Flores.
Coach on weather for Sunday’s game: put some thermals on, put a hoodie on and get out there.
Yeah, supposed to be 32 degrees at game time Sunday.
we are #1 in the NFL in team sacks with 45.
and i think we’re still getting better!
#1 in pressures
we blitz 39.2 % of the time, # 2 in the NFL
We will have to pressure RT but we won’t be able to do it with 3 or 4 like in the Saints game. They have much better receivers on the boundary we have to account for also. Going to be a tough game.
They have a much better OL. I hope our D doesn’t come out expecting the same from Monday night and feel like they are running into a brick wall.
Regardless of how this season pans out, we are in a good position next season to really solidify this team and take the next step. We can re-sign a lot of guys to this roster and still have money to grab the FA’s we need for the o-line and another WR or too. I’d like to see a draft with WR, RB, Edge, CB, SS, OL in no particular order. Brandon Jones is young and has done a good job, but I think we can upgrade there if a stud falls to us. Byron Jones can be flakey and we don’t know what will happen in the future with X, nor do we know if Iggy can step up when called upon. I wouldn’t pass on a stud CB for WR or RB if that’s the BPA.
Did anyone else think that John Madden was dead already when they heard the news? I could have sworn he passed like 3 years ago.
No because they have been pushing this all Madden team special that was supposed to come out
LOL 🤚me
I had this conversation a month ago with a coworker of mine and we had to Google is John Madden still alive
There was a lot of news about him a couple of weeks ago, actually checked to see if he was still alive then
I don’t see many here talking about it.
But IMHO a stud LB should be high on our list of wants in the draft!
^^^^
Don’t see the need, we seem to be fine with our no name D
You game plan for Phillips and he drops into coverage and someone else gets the sack
You try to take away Ogbah and Phillips gets the sack
Keep the O confused and on the run
I think we can upgrade Elandon Roberts who is slow and Van Ginkel who can get overpowered when trying to set the edge
High on the list no, but if one falls into our lap, take him
You may be right
B
P
A
That is all
^
2 years after the draft we won’t think about a stud BPA we drafted and say, but we really needed an OG
Over the first 6 games of this winning streak, Tagovailoa has played well. On Monday night, he was much shakier.
some of the other stat lines Tua achieved over this winning streak, but it came against an exceptionally depleted Saints roster.
Nick Belotto Fansided
Ignorance at its finest
Sounds like someone just made his opinion based on stats and the fact that they were missing some guys, nevermind that the guys on D that stepped in played great.
And Tua threw an int, instead of hitting an open Waddle for a 1st down
The game I saw was Tua doing enough to win against a ferocious D, the same one that made Brady look like a whiny brat
I completely agree with you. I don’t care what anyone says about the Saints missing some players, that D was flying around, hitting, and playing well. They’re built to play fast in that dome on turf, and are tougher at home than anywhere else. They have a strong rush and a top secondary. Stats tell very little about the conservative gameplan we executed very well.
WY
It depends what you mean by stud LB. The position has changed so much and our defense is so blitz dependent, there is a certain type
If there is a Micah Parsons type who can play inside and outside, that would be incredible on our defense
But we need a guy who can bring pressure not just a thumper ILB. I’ve mentioned Pass rusher before – I think we always need more pass rushers, but we can accomplish that with he right LB who can play all over the field
We blitz our DBs more than any other team. Same thing with LBs – we need LBs that can bring pressure
I was thinking more along the lines of having 2 Baker’s back there? Certainly we can upgrade Euguave, duke, Roberts?
Tua looked pretty good. As much as everyone tried to defend the Saints being depleted, they still had that ferocious front 4 and most of their D backfield against our bad OL. I was worried and thought it would end up 10-7, and got even more concerned after watching the refs early. We won handily though.
I don’t really want anything but OL in the first unless we get an elite OT in FA. It’s such a glaring and continuous issue. I hope we keep most of our FA. If 1-7 was even partially over everyone learning their jobs, why get new people that will need that unless they are an upgrade? Maybe 1 RB, a OT, and save the rest to make sure we keep Ogbah and Gesicki. I’d stay away from anyone with an injury history.
^
I think we have plenty of young OL!
I would get a FA RT!
Notice the space Pig! 😉
LOL
I don’t quite get the criticism of Tua. If Tua was on the Patriots playing the same way everyone would be praising him and Bellicheck
Ken thanks for your 10:52
Was going to post something like this too.
Look guys, if you can’t be positive now in the middle of a 7 games win streak when we are asking you for positive vibes for a friend, you are pretty much hopeless.
No reason jump down each other’s throats right now.
BE NICE
It’s not fucking hard!
I’m generally not a nice pig. But I’m trying. If I can do it, any of you can.
Don’t be petty jerks right now. Forget your ego and try to be positive just for a little while….eventually we can all go back to rolling in the mud.
For now – BE NICE please
sounds good !
Chat Sports asks is Tua holding back the Dolphis?
They say, if Tua was top 15 QB no one would want to play them
Look here dick cheese…have you seen the OL?
What Tua is doing behind this OL is 100% amazing, and stats and ratings aren’t the end all, you do what you need to, to win the game
I’m a fricken walking straight man this morning
We still don’t know what Tua’s ceiling is because everything we do on offense is hamstrung by our oline.
Get us a RT in FA, and a center in the draft, keep our current OCs and offensive system into year two and we’ll see what we see next year.
Tua’s release, accuracy, ability to move through his reads quickly, his ability to move defenders with his eyes, his pocket presence and escapability…all top level.
Let’s see what happens when he doesn’t have freakin career backup Davis protecting his blindside, trainwreck Jackson with rookie and showing it Eich on his left side, and very average Dieter at center.
I honestly don’t see how you can look at this oline and expect anyone to perform. I think the coaches and Tua have done a masterful job of implementing a system that can somewhat mitigate the oline deficiencies and play complementary enough to support our topnotch defense.
I honestly won’t be on the downside of the rollercoaster if we lose our next two. I don’t think that will happen, I think we go 1-1, but even if we lose both, I am happy with the season because I see potential and growth. The team could have quit at 1-7, but this team stuck together. There is value in that.
We’ll have the resources to address deficiencies this offseason and as more than a few have said on here, we have to start better next year, lol.
I like our chances this week against the Titans. We get the short week, they get the long week. We have to go to their house where they are looking to clinch. I don’t care.
I think our front 7 matches up well against their oline and run game with no Henry. I think our secondary matches up well against their wideouts. I think our pressure defense matches up well against their QB’s lack of pocket presence. I think we keep this close and have a chance to win it in the end.
Go Dolphins!!
Tua made 1 bad pass on Monday and it didn’t cost the team. Herbert made 2 terrible passes on Sunday against a much worse defense and yet no criticism of him. I don’t get it. Tua is playing just fine. You don’t win 7 in a row if QB is not playing well I don’t care who the competition is. The throw to Hollins was unreal as was Hollins catch. That was as much as responsible for us winning the game just as much as anything the defense did
That throw to Hollins was a thing of beauty. He had a very similar pass to Ford against the Jest. Ford was moving across the field not up the sideline, but it was another downfield throw he dropped over his shoulder right in the bucket, and on 3rd down as well.
Fricken Fracken grumble grumble grumble “be nice” he says! grumble grumble grumble
We officially have a winning record this week so I am temporarily changing my avi.
No need to blow it all the hell up if we keep winning. BUT BE WARNED! I can change it back in a matter of moments!
It’s not hard he says….
I don’t see many here talking about it.
But IMHO a stud LB should be high on our list of wants in the draft!
—————————————————
There are some stud LB’s but none are real dominate.
UGA has 3 draft eligible. Nakobe Dean is probably their best but smallish for an ILB at 6′ 225 but is considered top 5 this draft. Then you have OLB Adam Anderson who is 6’5 230 and may run a bub 4.4 but may have some serious legal issues. The 3rd UGA LB is Channing Tindall who is 6’2 230 and runs in mid 4.4’s. He will probably be the fastest of all the ILB’s in the draft.
A lot of talk about Utah’s Devan Lloyd being LB1 but I don’t see it. He has good size at 6’3 235 but as an OLB seems a bit slow with his projected 4.7 40.
The two I would be interested most are LB Brandon Smith another PSU freak athlete but has not quite lived up to his athletic abilities. At 6’3 241 he was hand timed at a 4.38 40. His run defense and tackling has been a little issue. His best attribute, right now, is in coverage where he can cover any TE and even some wideouts.
The other is Alabama ILB Christian Harris. He is probably the best ILB in the draft but not the fastest. He doesn’t really have any weaknesses but, if you had to pick one, it would probably be in coverage. He has average speed in the 4.6’s.
Some 4th to 5th round guys I like are IU ILB Micah McFadden. Dude is a stud against the run and blitzing. Weakness is in coverage. I really like Jalen Graham from Purdue who probably has the best ball skills in the draft. Another is Amari Gainer from FSU.
I didn’t note any guys who are considered “Edge” really. There are a couple good ones there also like Drake Jackson, USC, Foskey, ND or this other dude from South Carolina I can’t think of right now.
If there is a Micah Parsons type who can play inside and outside, that would be incredible on our defense
—————————————–
Piggy, I guess that would be Brandon Smith, PSU for you. He has the measurables of Parsons and Oweh and has lined up/played every LB position for them.
Hey PSU guys, chime in on this guy.
You didn’t mention Damone Clark?
Clark led the Tigers’ defense in tackles this year with 137 total. He currently sits second in the nation with 11.4 tackles per game.
Anytime you have an urge to just be frustrated, put on a condensed version of one of our games and just watch Davis at RT exclusively the whole game. I did that for the Saints game, it is so unbelievably frustrating watching him miss block after block, not only in pass protection, but anytime the play goes his way. Play after play I see him unable to get in front of the defender on both runs and passes.
I want him gone I don’t even think he is good depth anymore
To finish the season, we’ll have to go through a Belichick disciple and Belichick himself. Both are winnable games though.
In the first game against NE, we always seemed to get to Mac Jones just a half second too late and he was able to find the open man just before they got there. That defense was played different than what we’ve played in the last 7 wins. The defense needs to stay the course and do what it’s been doing during this streak: take away the run and put pressure on the QB.
On offense, I think we’ll have to hit them with the 1-2 of Lindsay/Johnson, then throw in some wrinkles, and get our role players chances to shine. Belichick is going to make sure that Waddle is taken out as well as Gesicki and probably Parker. That’s why it’ll be important to get the ball to guys like Ford and Hollins while getting the ball into the hands our RB and backup TE’s.
How are they going to take out Waddle, Parker and Gesicki?
Tua is an easy target, because he plays for the Dolphins. We just haven’t earned the respect yet.
True and that is my take as well
https://sports.yahoo.com/video/baldingers-film-breakdown-conundrum-dolphins-182424034.html
First try this year. I don’t even recognize the names of most of these guys yet. LOL
Team Picks
21: R1 P21 C Tyler Linderbaum – Iowa
51: R2 P19 LB Damone Clark – LSU
98: R3 P34 RB Isaiah Spiller – Texas A&M
117: R4 P15 EDGE Jamal Hines – Toledo
121: R4 P19 DL Keeanu Benton – Wisconsin
161: R5 P19 WR Keytaon Thompson – Virginia
179: R5 P37 WR Khalil Shakir – Boise State
202: R6 P23 FB Jeremiah Hall – Oklahoma
222: R7 P3 K Blake Mazza – SMU
Like top 3 and I knew you would select a kicker. lol
Cowturd is such a tool. Mac Jones is a franchise QB but Tua is like Tebow?? How does this idiot have a job talking about sports, a subject he is so obviously lacking knowledge of?
That is why you can’t listen to a thing he says
Wyoming, not sure why I didn’t list Damone Clark. He had a really good year. I watched a number of LSU games this year and didn’t come away wowed by Clark. One game, he had a hard time getting off blocks and though he had like 10 tackles or more that game they all seemed to be down field. Dude is a tackling machine though. I remember the game against Ole Miss, he was everywhere. Maybe I shouldn’t have let myself get the wrong vibe on him based off that one game. I will have to watch more of him.
BTW, I did select him in one of my earlier mocks. lol
I really hope we have serious discussions about “FA RT” this off-season
If that happens…forget it….I will be merciless
🐖💨
LMAO
What was the deal with Lindsey on Monday, several RPOs he seemed to be fighting Tua for the ball?
Probably just a chemistry thing. He hasn’t been here long, and was injured then in COVID protocols for a good portion of the time he has been here.
The RB can anticipate, but he can’t do what Lindsay did, it’s the QBs call
Like partner dancing someone has to be lead
They were not reading the “key” the same!
It takes them both being on the same page to work correctly.
Same with the Duke fumble, Duke read keep, and Tua read pull.
Ferguson has replaced John Denney so seamlessly I haven’t even noticed him once this season. (Although that dumb fake snap we botched against the Jest I believe was a bad snap).
Draft is considering we resigned Ogbah and Gesicki and signed RT Trent Brown. Jameson Williams was gone. Went BPA first 2 picks. Cincinnati has a really good secondary led by my first round pick. Can’t wait to see how they hold up to the speed of Alabama.
21. Ahmad Gardner CB Cincinnati
53. Brandon Smith LB Penn State
99. Jerome Ford RB Cincinnati
117. John Metchie III WR Alabama
121. Nick Broeker OT Mississippi
163. Ifeanyi Maijeh DT Rutgers
179. Matt Bedford OG Indiana
202. Micah McFadden LB Indiana
223. DeAngelo Malone EDGE Western Kentucky
“Sauce” Gardner 6’3 200 pounds. Has never given up a receiving TD in his 3 seasons at Cincinnati. We will see if he can keep that stat vs Jameson Williams Friday.
I do like Jerome Ford. Good power/speed combo. He transferred from Alabama to Cincinnati so I can’t wait to see how he does Friday vs his old team.
👍
It’s pretty crazy how healthy this team is going into week 17

Do you hear that you have to win these final two games to get to the playoffs?
“I have no idea what you’re talking about actually. We are focused on the Titans.” – Jevon Holland #MiamiDolphins
They say shit like Tua’s future still uncertain, Fins should should still be all in on Watson, Tua shaky in historic win…
All I hear is wah wah woh wah wah
Just keep winning and hopefully they all shut up
Gil Brandt has both Phillips and Holland on his all rookie Def team
Everyone should
Garo Polo may play Sunday. Hope he does, if he plays anything like he did against us last year coming off of an injury
not spam
So profootballreference.com shows Ogbah with 24 QB hits, AVG with 19

These douches.
Ok, last one for tonight so I don’t become spam
Give Tua time to throw and the distance on Waddle’s TDs go up

I think a RB room with Duke, Lindsay, Penny, and Gaskin would be excellent AND not cost much.
Penny is a big back and fast.

Thank you, BBMike! Seems you’re the only one who understands where I’m coming from with Rashaad Penny.
You’d swear I’m asking our Phins to pay him $80M over 5 years to be a featured back for us. NO, I’m NOT! He’s injury prone, he’s not going to command top-dollar, and he can help us in a rotational system… which is what we do!
If we can get Penny on a 1-year deal for close to vet minimal $$$, DO IT!!!
And yes, I’d be willing to outbid the closest team on a 1-year, close to vet minimal contract as it pertains to Penny. If the price is right, I’m bringing him to Miami as a rotational RB.
OR, perhaps we give him the usual 2-year, $10M contract for vets… 2nd year is voided if he can’t stay healthy, and is backloaded.
Terron Armstead was out with COVID-19 Monday night. James Hurst was the LT.
Rob – I couldn’t disagree with you more about the offense. The Co-Co’s know they don’t have time to throw deep so they designed a short passing game because of that. It has nothing to do with Tua at all. I said this a few weeks ago and now I’m hearing all the guys on WQAM saying it too. They know they have no time, so the quick passes mask and hide the pass blocking deficiencies. Not sure how you could think it was anything else.
Yes Mike as a general statement that’s true, but if Tua had a Herbert arm he’d be throwing deep a lot more
Pretty sure they didn’t go into the season thinking they were going to have to dink and dunk
Ok, so how is it that Brissett played exactly the same way? Not only did he play the same way, he took way more sacks
Because Brissett can’t get out of his own way, he’s slow to process, he’s always been checkdown Charlie
Tua gets outside about 5 to 10 times a game, he just doesn’t have the arm to wing it, so he takes the mid range passes
You do realize without a big arm it’s tough to throw deep with a safety on that side
You can still go deep, just have to be more selective
Be nice…last words I understood by Mrs K to me while I was trying to save her life….facts. 😭
Some of you have no clue…
Words to live by!
Krishna… It sucks losing the best part of you… I love the passion you write with… Your wife must have been the sunrise and sunset in your eyes… I feel your loss… and thank you for sharing your heart here.
M – You want to sign Penny for a 5 YR $120M contract, cut the shit bro! 😛
LMAO!!! 😆
All kidding aside, I wouldn’t mind having him here. I still do hope that we draft a RB that can be a feature back. At the moment, I still think our roster is void of that. Doesn’t have to be in RD1 or 2, just get a good player that has some size, about 215 or more and not too tall, 5’10 or less.
BBMike,
Here is where I go back-and-forth in my mind: do we want a young RT to grow with Tua, or do we want to pay top-dollar to a FA?
So long as Tua is protected on his blindside, I’m all good either way. I really like your idea of signing RT Trent Brown via FA. But I also like the thought that one of these funkers on our current O-Line can become great enough to become a legit RT for Tua.
Time shall reveal…
Actually both can come true! 😉
Wilkins just got slimed on nickelodeon
That must be fun

I hear ya! For the record, Penny is currently 5’11, 230… and he runs as fast as he ever has.
This is the most recent version, y’all. Peyton continues to praise Tua.
We NEED a running game to complement Tua, guys. Currently, Najee Harris is the #5 rusher in the NFL behind the Stealers* defective O-Line (not as bad as ours, though). And Javonte Williams is the #10 rusher in the NFL.
Fix the O-Line, and get a bruiser to run behind it… and that RB isn’t there in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Thought he was a Book fan since Orob thinks Peyton knows QBs….I’m so confused.
Should probably start ignoring Orob…lol!
That was to mf13ss 7:17 post…lol
Everyone has an opinion, including yourself. Being nice is the key, bud.
Being true and nice about it, sometimes has its challenges. If you don’t understand that, I don’t know how to explain it to you….lol.
I’m a Book fan… as in “The Book of Boba Fett”!!! Great premiere episode!
👍
Orob was talking about Payton not Peyton
Does that matter?
Steve, I realize that more than anything, this offense can’t be successful if they tried to throw deep on a regular basis. I think his arm strength is such an overrated issue. We don’t run well because we don’t block well. We don’t run block and we don’t pass block well. We do the best we can with what we have, and Tua runs it extremely well. I guess if you think that if/when we have the horses up front that Tua will still be throwing 5 yard passes, I guess I can’t change your mind
I agree Tua’s arm is just fine. I think he has shown that multiple times in this streak. He makes every throw a QB needs to make. I really don’t get this criticism. I think it’s because he is a lefty. The ball comes out differently. I have heard this criticism of just about every lefty QB I can remember especially with Ken Stabler and Steve Young
If that’s what you think you don’t read my posts correctly
Every argument this board made against drafting Josh Allen, is what Tua is as a QB! 😉
True, but you could also say the same thing the other way

Dolphins offense is Tua , Waddle, and Gesicki, with a few of everything else tossed in
they need a starting RB, a WR, and a couple more OL,
to maximize the offenses scoring
Davis, Deiter, and Jackson have been little help
i would be beside myself if Miami drafted Jameson WIlliams Alabama WR, he would be a perfect compliment to Waddle.
imagine NFL defenses trying to cover both Waddle and Williams
they cant IMO
What a tool, so you’d be angry, if we drafted him
no idea where that came from
i explained he would be a compliment to Waddle and difficult to cover
above that, i explained we need another wr to go with Waddle
but you think that means id be angry with the WILLIAMS pick? thats tarded logic
id be HAPPY< now you understand?
You said you’d be besides yourself
Do you not know the meaning of the words you write?
Steve, chill the fuck out bud, just talking about some draft picks
if You like or dont like WIlliams, You can say so
im not angry with You, just tired of You constantly complaining about NOTHING
You contradicted yourself, don’t get mad at me, if you don’t know what you’re writing
You’re an idiot most of the time you’re on here, because you’re usually calling someone out
If you can’t take the heat don’t dish it out
wrong again argumentative asshole
beside oneself
See synonyms for beside oneself on Thesaurus.com
In a state of extreme agitation or excitement, as in She was beside herself when she found she’d lost her ring, or Peter was beside himself with joy—he’d won the poetry award. This phrase appears in the New Testament (Acts 26:24): “Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning makes thee mad.” [Late 1400s]
you are stupid as FUCK dude, WOW
Okay guys
Remember what I said earlier

If you are beside yourself with a particular feeling or emotion, it is so strong that it makes you almost out of control:
figure of speech
it COULD be taken negatively or positively, but in this case, You guessed negatively
Ken
And for the record this proves nothing!
He was obviously emotionally distressed after the incident and didn’t feel comfortable making “ectoplasm” into a verb
lol
I’m not sure I would have laughed as hard if Venkman said “He ectoplasmed me.”
It really loses the effect with that many syllables
this is what happens when im nice, lol assholes like Steve start SHIT anyway
back to being nice, FUCK OFF Steve, lol you are a WASTE of time
Lighten up Francis, I’m just bustin your balls
you are wasting my time, just move the fuck on before i get beside myself, lol
