Honestly I’m hoping the bears hire Flores so we can all watch and see what happens with Justin Fields and what her Flores sets him back or whether this narrative following Flores firing is bullshit

  2. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

We all witnessed Gase make the same mistakes for the jests he did in Miami and we all knew it was coming….

  3. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

“Bieniemy reportedly already had one interview request, from the Denver Broncos.”

Bieniemy is a Colorado guy. Played at University of Colorado and started his coaching career ass RB Coach there and returned to be OC there before becoming RB Coach at KC.

If this happens, Watson to Denver would become a huge discussion. It was said that before the Watson drama went down in Houston, Watson wanted Bieniemy to come there as OC.

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

As long as he doesn’t come to Miami

Watson to Denver is picking up steam for a lot of reasons

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Would make sense, if the goal was to get him out of KC

When I see Bienemy the lights just don’t seem to be on, Flores gets that look at times, like the job is too big for him

For example he’s a gambler, runs a lot of trick plays, but doesn’t seem to know the inherent risk, see Jax game

Also he seems to be clueless the effect time outs have, when taken on D

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

His offenses have done really well. His name always comes up on the short list for HC candidates but he never seems to get the job. He must not interview well

  4. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I think Flores will do well in Chicago if he is hired there. Bears fans love their defense.

  6. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Flores was loved by his players, so they’ll go thru a wall for him, but that alone isn’t enough to be a good HC

He may figure it out some day, but something is missing

Last night’s game with 5:13 left GA up 1 a D player on Bama got hurt

They stopped the clock and moved the play clock back to 40 seconds

Once the clock was restarted GA was already lined up and ran a play with 23 seconds left on the play clock and a running game clock, WTF

They call these guys experts in their field, so why is it, that I can see a clear error they were clueless to?

I watch for stuff like that like it’s matter of fact and didn’t go out of my way or find a needle in a haystack, it should be a given

  23. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Piggy, James Cook is a weapon. Though, he would only be a piece of a RB room and mainly a 3rd down or long down and distance guy. Outside of his 67 yard run, he had 5 carries for 10 yards, He is light for 5’11 at 190 but has better vision than Gaskin.

I was mainly looking at players on D. The ones who stood out to me on Alabama were LB Christian Harris with 3 sacks and DT Mathis. Mathis was stuffing the middle the whole first half. Then hurt his shoulder and left game in second half and UGA started having success running.

On UGA, the speed of LB’s Nakobe Dean and Nolan Smith really showed up. Dean’s small size makes me nervous though. Smith is much bigger at 6’3 235. ILB Channing Tindall also showed his speed on his sack in the first half. DT’s Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt would be a nice addition to our DT rotation. Lastly, SS Lewis Cine seemed to be everywhere last night making tackles. He looks like a fearless heavy hitter.

Some of these guys are juniors so it will be interesting to see who stays and who declares for the draft.

UGA TE Bowers will be a 1st round pick in 2 years.

    Steve,

I knew nothing about the QB from Georgia prior to last night, but I found the story behind his journey to get where he is fascinating. To me, that is one of the cool things about college football still. Sometimes it is not about viewing them as to how they would be in the NFL as much as it is to enjoy the moment for the young man just sit back and watch the story develop on the field.

He went home and told his wife, “Mary, I won the prize for the Best toast of the night.” She said, “Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?” Johnny said, “Here’s to spending the rest of my life, sitting in church beside me wife.” “Oh, that is very nice indeed, Johnny!” Mary said.
The next day Mary ran into one of Johnny’s drinking buddies on the street corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said, “Johnny won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary.”
She said, “Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised myself. You know, he’s only been there twice in the last four years. Once he fell asleep, and the other time I had to pull him by the ears to make him come.”

  28. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Was glad to read in the Jackson piece Flores was a prick

When I heard of the firing yesterday my biggest concern was the effect it would have on the players, seems only Needham and Ferguson liked him

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

I didn’t get the impression that the players didn’t necessarily like him but that he was making a power play against Grier and lost. Also seems like he wants to make himself in the image of Bellicheck but doesn’t yet have the resume to pull that off

  29. sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

Seems like the Flores attitude narrative was overblown. If he were that bad, wouldn’t have the players revolted or quit on him at some point? They had every opportunity to do so this year. Lots of SB winning coaches didn’t have winning personalities.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

It wasn’t mainly with the players but others within the organization. He wanted more power and control over things and people in the building were tired of it.

As a player even if you don’t necessarily like the coach, you still have to have pride in your game and do your job. Bad tape is on your resume.

      • sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

Right, but that’s the side of the story that the organization is putting out. Seems like he didn’t get along with 1 or 2 guys within management and maybe their egos got in the way too. Since they were on top, they got to stay instead of the guy trying to get results on the field.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Well Jackson’s article was based on talking to a lot of people. Whatever it truly was they fired him.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Probably somewhere between, but belicheat is quite an asshole, yet some players love him, just depends on the personality of the player

  30. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

If Flores wanted more control, they should have told him get us into the playoffs and win a round and we’ll talk about it then big boy!

  31. sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

You have to remember that people around the league shaking their head like, WTF? So the organization has to get their word and spin on it in order for it to make sense. So far I haven’t heard anything from Flores camp, and I suppose he’s smart for doing so. However, I take what is being reported with a grain of salt. Good or bad, it sounds like Flores was working hard on trying to establish a winning culture in a place where management didn’t know what that looked like and he was ousted for it.

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

It sounds like it was a power struggle and Ross and Grier were not ready to give it to him yet. I didn’t want to lose Flores but I don’t think he has accomplished enough to warrant that type of control

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Coaches rarely speak out when they get fired. Like you said it’s best not to do that when you’re interviewing for another job. You just move on.

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

I wouldn’t expect him to say anything either

      • sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

Yeah, I’m just pointing out that the team has the ability to control the narrative and we shouldn’t take it as gospel because there’s a side of the story that isn’t being given.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

True, it’s always about did you hire the right guy. Can he handle the HC responsibilities or does he sit in the corner by himself looking at plays when things aren’t working while the game is still going on.

  39. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

In an offense like what Mike McDaniel runs, I think Tua would be a good fit. He’d probably be under center a lot more, but Tua is good on waggles and boots throwing on the run. You get teams stretched out in the run game and then play-action with Tua’s accuracy – receivers will likely be open a lot. I’m sure there would still be some RPO, but not as the bread and butter.

  44. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

This season with Mike McDaniel calling the plays, SF attempted 514 passes and ran the ball 499 times. There are some QB rushes that were probably mostly off scrambling but still ran the ball over 40% of the time. Anyway, they had 499 rushes for 2,166 yards with overall team average of 4.3 yards per carry and 22 TD’s. They were led by rookie RB Elijah Mitchell who had 207 rushes for 963 yards, 4.7 average. He also incorporated receivers in the running game with 67 rushes (mostly Deebo Samuel) with over 6 yard average per rush.

This season 49er’s were 10th overall, 13th in points, 7th in pass yards, 14th in pass TD’s, 7th in rush yards, 5th in rush attempts, 5th in rush TD’s. RANKED #1 in redzone TD %.

  53. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

So based on some the names you’re hearing at HC which way are you all leaning?

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Mike McDaniel is intriguing. I think Peterson would be okay

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

It might be the right time for Brian Daboll as a HC and he has history with Tua. He’s paid his dues, has coached for quite a few different teams so he should have a good amount of connections for putting a staff together.

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

I am not that fond of Daboll. I was not impressed with him here. I think he runs a very unbalanced offense in Buffalo. The relationship with Tua is a positive though

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Fair enough. I think he would adapt the offense around Tua. The Bills offense is based on Josh Allen.

    • sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

I would lean towards Pederson or McDaniel as I’ve long believed their type of offenses fit Tua’s strengths.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I agree with that. Tua is better on the move than stationary in the pocket unless he has decent time to setup. But he’s really good moving around and throwing on the move. He has good feet in a movement offense.

  54. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I’m not leaning towards anyone at the moment. I would like us to hire someone that will potentially be here for a decade or more. I thought Flores was going to be that guy. I think we should be patient and try to find that coach.

  55. New Age's avatar New Age says:

My only issue with McDaniel is what kind of staff can he assemble? He seems very talented, but can he bring in guys that make all three phases successful?

So based on some the names you’re hearing at HC which way are you all leaning?
    —————-
While Brian Daboll would be a first-time HC, he’s garnered a lot of experience in the NFL — and major success with Tua at Alabama — that I feel he’d be an exceptional hire.

Of all the coaches being discussed and verified to have an interview with us, I feel Daboll has the best chance of assembling a decent staff on both sides of the ball.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Steve Ross had BETTER have learned his lesson that young blood as a first-time HC doesn’t necessarily translate to instantaneous success. He needs to go with somebody with experience in the NFL. Daboll fits the “Bill”, if you will.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Both Quinn and McDaniel are intriguing to me, but Daboll is my #1.

  59. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

When McDaniel shows up to his interview with Stephen Ross and explains his offense

  60. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I believe that with all of the talent we have on the Defensive side of the ball, we don’t necessarily need an A++ Defensive-minded HC or DC. I think that side of the ball will essentially take care of itself, granted we don’t land a dope for a DC.

  61. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Brian Daboll might be able to bring Dave DeGuglielmo back as our O-Line coach. DeGuglielmo has been one of the best in the biz over recent years (minus the G-Men in 2020, but ya can’t make that O-Line any good with that roster!).

DeGuglielmo is currently with Louisiana Tech as their O-Line coach. Daboll and DeGuglielmo worked together in Miami in 2011 as OC and O-Line coach, respectively.

  62. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Daboll was the Patsies* TE coach from 2013–2016. Thus, he and Josh Boyer are quite familiar with one another. There’s a chance Boyer could stay as our DC if Daboll is hired as our HC.

  63. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Would Daboll re-sign Mike Gesicki? If so, he might be able to make Gesicki a more complete TE… more so than we’ve ever seen before.

  64. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Sign RT Trenton Brown and LG Connor Williams, and our O-Line is fixed… granted we sign a competent O-Line coach (see DeGuglielmo).

Get a stud power back in here (I see you, Rashaad Penny) PLUS re-sign Duke Johnson, and our running game is fixed.

Gaskin is a stud in his own right as our scat back.

  65. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

  68. ukfinfan's avatar ukfinfan says:

I know O isn’t the most respected chappie on here, but still found this thread interesting. I can see why this, when compounded, led to the firing. Maybe it causes him to take stock. Waste of leadership otherwise. Water under the bridge now anyway.

  69. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Coach Flo didn’t flush the toilet in management bathrooms. Clearly the reason he was fired.

I feel like there are going to be new angles and stories up until we finally hire a new coach.

  70. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

M – Jackson was pretty horrible at LG. Need a coach to come in here that can work with the talent we have here. I want to get 2 veterans, I mentioned that here before. Bring in a solid OG like Laken Tomlinson from the 9ers and a veteran center. If you want Penny to average 6.3 YPC here we need to get this O-line fixed. I don’t believe for a second that Jackson can’t play, he needs work. He needs a coach that from day one gets him believing that he’s an NFL tackle. Eichenberg himself feels like RT is his best position. I’ll take his word for it over Lemuel.

    • pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

I don’t think for a minute that the stable of linemen on Miami’s roster doesn’t have talent. Jackson played well in the beginning as did Kindley. OL play regressed every year with basically the same players. That’s coaching.

      • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I agree Phelon. Not saying that we have an all-pro OL but I think with proper coaching we go from worst to midpack in a season. I’ll take it!

      • pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Yeah, competent coaching could have taken 5 guys off the street and made them better than what Miami fielded. I have never seen line play that bad.

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

This is one of the reasons I was so surprised when people were upset about the Flores filling

He was lost offensively and the hack job on the OL was the best evidence of it

I think -roper had some expectation that we hire some Oc that fixes his shortcomings – but he couldn’t do that either

  71. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Last but not least, we need to find a 3-down LB who can stuff the run AND play the ball in the air. I’ve always called it, “the search for the next Brian Urlacher”.
    ————————————————
Unfortunately, I am not seeing that guy at ILB this draft. There are some great run stuffers and blitzers but weak in coverage. If they are good in coverage, then they are mostly smallish and get washed out in the run game.

  72. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I don’t understand what the deal was with our OL. All the returning OL regressed and Eich started off slow. Why did it take so long to replace Davis at RT? Kindley could not have been any worse than Jackson. The OL was a major failure on Flores and his offensive coaches.

Another failure of Flores was, he interviewed Mike McDaniel last off season and chose to go the in-house co-oc route which was a major failure.

We could of already had Mike McDaniel as our OC but he chose to stick with his buddies instead.

  76. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I don’t see where Joseph was awful in Denver. Denver finished the season with the 3rd best scoring defense. Though, they were not ranked very high in other stats and near the bottom of the league in takeaways and #19 in sacks but were #1 in QB hurries.

To say he was awful is just being overexaggerated.

    • bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

With that said, I would prefer he not be the guy.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

He was 12-21, to me that’s awful

Who cares if his Ds were good in some categories, if he couldn’t win

We had some pretty good stats for passing yards against one year we won I think 1 game

In 3 years when everyone is ripping him a new one, after his firing, will you be saying the same thing about our D?

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

He seemed in over his head to me, the job was too big for him

I love what he has done with Arizona’s defense. They are aggressive and attack the QB. I see a good football mind him and I think he warrants another shot. I get that he looked a little over his head his first go around as an HC. But I like h the product he brings as a coordinator. I think what happened what happened in Denver may have been some growing pains. He was only a DC 1 year when Denver hired him. I didn’t think he was ready to be an HC at that time. I think he is now.

Vance Joseph left to be a HC too soon IMO, but I don’t blame him for taking the opportunity when it presented himself. Maybe after a few years of watching other guys he knows what he should do.

    ——————–
I love Zach, but he was only 5’11” with a 28.5″ VJ… we need a 6’4″-er who can cover TEs like Brian Urlacher could. TEs have been our kryptonite for nearly 20 years. I hope this answers your question, SB7.

  85. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Ken

The OL failing and the offense as a whole failing was very directly Flores’ fault

The idea that an entire young OL are busts is hard to beleive – more likely poor development

We had 3 OL coaches under Flores and he had power to hire and fire them

Flores is Rex Ryan – a good DC that can turn the corner to be a good HC and generate offense

You don’t do the sort of things he did if you are an offensive minded coach
    – you don’t got through offensive coach’s like that bc you have to implement new systems each time
    – you don’t bench your rookie QB and expect him to start the next game like nothing os wrong
    – and you certianly don’t have ambiguity as to who calls the plays

Flores wasn’t just average or below average when it came to offense
    He was incompetent

An offense needs a goal and a system in place to hit that goal

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

I agree Flores needed help on offense but 2 years in a row we won more than we lost and we’re in contention late in the season. I also think the OL problems had a lot to do with talent evaluation. Yes coaching plays a part in that too. But when a coach has us in contention 2 years in row it should not be surprising that we are shocked when he is fired

      • bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

It depends on how you define “contention” This Team was far from competing legitimately for a SB, and we were losing ground on offense, which in today’s NFL is a recipe for disaster. This offense was a disaster all season, and I cannot forget all of the mis-steps and failures of this coaching staff that led to 1-7.

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

        Playoff contention

      • pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Miami was only in playoff contention because of the defense. And when the defense had a bad day , Miami lost. 7 weeks in a row.

    • sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

That’s not why he was fired though. If he was nicer, he would still be there.

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

I agree. It wasn’t about coaching it was a power play by Flores and he lost if you believe the article by Barry Jackson which I do.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

You’re quite gullible Ken. Barry is just throwing out there what the team wants out there

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

No doubt there is spin from the team but that is consistent with Flores personality and his pedigree being a Bellicheck protégé. Why do you think he was fired? Power play has been the only plausible explanation offered

      • sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

My comment was tongue in cheek btw.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

    —————-
Yeah, we agree on all the above but for Austin Jackson. I’d be more than happy if he manages to prove me wrong. As for Eichenberg, I think he’s going to be a stud… doesn’t matter if he’s on the left or right.

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Don’t see anything special in Eichenberg. Doesn’t matter what side he played as he played neither of them well

      • Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I agree. He just seemed okay to me. I doubt he will be special (short arms for the position ). Hopefully he can be solid one day.

  88. Randy's avatar Randy says:

Just my opinion, but I think this goes back to the draft a couple years ago when Burrow was drafted. I think Ross wanted to tank that season and try to get the first pick. Flores was focused on winning games and wasn’t buying in. Grier was probably on Ross’ side. Then, I believe Grier and Ross wanted to pursue Watson and Flores wasn’t happy with all the distractions and just want playing ball. Add that to Flores’ general “F U” attitude, and I think his coaching skill didn’t really matter anymore.
    ***
I said during the preseason that I wouldn’t be surprised if there was something going on behind the scene that was contributing to how bad this team was performing. It just felt like there had to be more going on than just poor coaching to explain what we were seeing. Players looked like their heads just weren’t in it. Something was going on. Maybe this contention in the building was bleeding through to everything else.
    ***
For the record, I’d have kept Flores. I think he has the makings of a good NFL coach. He wasn’t there yet, but I think he’d have gotten better as time went on. He is Bellicheat early in his career. Nobody likes him. Players can’t take tough coaching anymore, and Flores doesn’t have the cachet to be that sort of coach yet in his career.

    ———————-
Because it is plausible and some of the reporting was just sensationalizing rumors. Also Jackson tends to be one of the better Dolphins beat reporters imo.

Mike Florio and Chris Simms say no one will want the Miami job (because Ross listens to whispers and favors Grier).

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

The minute anyone schedules an interview with the Dolphins. It will highlight that florio and Simms are hot garbage

Those two are so stupid, they don’t have the foresight to see how quickly they can be proven wrong

We have requests for Daboll, Quinn and McDaniels and a few others – the minute any of them accept an interview, doesn’t it undercut this stupid take by them

In the case of Vance Joseph and Daboll each has worked with both Ross and Grier in the past – they already know them…..

It’s kind of indicative of the organization perception of how each of them perceive the organization that they requested to interview two former employees isn’t it?

Florio and Simms combine to make sea cucumbers look smart

  91. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

If you read the article yesterday from Barry Jackson, Grier and Flores both agreed on the talent brought in. So if you blame Grier for some of the personnel misses, you have to blame Flores too because he signed off on it. Flores getting fired was about him being on a power trip throughout the organization and people got tired of it. The decision to fire Flores was likely made well before the end of the season. It sucks but that’s what it is.

Now we need to find a new HC and hopefully this time we take the next step which we all know is the playoffs and more.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Ross is the guy who keeps getting married, then quickly divorced, and can’t figure out he’s the common denominator

As long as Ross is owner we’ll need win an SB

He wants a cohesive locker room, but won’t keep his fat ass out of the way

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Assumes Barry got it right, don’t think some things he wrote was true

Who made him king of the beat writers, why is everything he wrote true?

Gotta be some truth there, but it’s too easy for our FO to sit back and wait for dirt to come out, then pull Barry in and have him write everything they want portrayed

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I think a lot of us who read Jackson see a guy who’s generally more reliable than others. He’s not usually eager to be clickbait

He’s at the mercy of the team, he asks questions and writes what they tell him, if they lie to him, what’s he supposed to do, he’s just reporting what they tell him

  93. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Don’t get me wrong guys

I don’t wish firing on anyone. And I would have gladly taken a year without changes

But if people are going to argue that firing Flores is a sign of a dysfunctional organization – thats just wrong

Offensive ineptitude with no sign of getting better justifies this firing

We watched and commented in real time about some of the playcalling and some of the very frustrating offense

Some times our offense didn’t even look like a professional nfl team. We all saw it week to week. So don’t let the national media set that narrative. We all know what we witnessed

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Maybe it is dysfunctional, picking out some things he did wrong doesn’t mean it’s not and the firing was justified

He still had a winning record and the guys on board

Do you want to waste 3 more years, because the current coach didn’t get it all right?

Give me continuity and some form of belief the HC can get it done, like getting the team to play way over their heads the 2nd half of each season

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

The offense wasn’t getting any better Steve

Would you rather wait a year to waste 3 more years?

He undercut stability on offense with 3 different OL coaches, multiple OCs and not being able to bring on a good OC – we were going to be the same Dolphins in 2022 that we were in 2021. Some defensive minded coaches never get over that hump (see Rex Ryan)

And I think we need to stop with the players loved him. Most of the offensive players haven’t said positive things about him. He seems on track to follow the buddy Ryan model of offense v defense on the same team.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

The O did get better this year, Tua was a much better QB, he just didn’t have much time to throw and running improved with Duke

Some players loved him, but that’s besides the point, only thing that matters is they played hard for him, can’t ask for anything more

    • naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

      ^^^^^^^
very poor clock management, several strange challenges, several worthless wasted time outs, especially on defense, 4 OCs in 3 years, zero offense for long stretches, backyard play calls alternating with same ol same ol plays that anybody can defense, making Waddle into Landry 2.0, making Parker Mr. Jump-ball or No-ball (OK with a few slants), very little OL development in spite of all high draft picks, losing to Jax, not being worthy of Buffalo, losing 7 in a row, bombing at Nashville, subbing for your starting QB like he’s a nickel back, …

  94. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Ken – no one looked good on our O-line. That doesn’t mean they’re not good, means they’re not coached properly. Not one guy really excelled, and there’s talent on that line.

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

There are athletes on the OL I am not convinced they are good talents. It’s not just coaching. You can coach until the cows come home if the talent is lacking or the willingness to be coached

  95. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I’m not taking sides. Everyone involved with this football team has been failing. I’m just trying to put all the information together and make sense of it. The easiest action was that we fired Flores the day after the game which shows it was already decided. There was no end of the season evaluation, he was not coming back and they wanted to get an early start looking for a new HC.

All I care about is the football team getting better and winning and hopefully the new HC will help us do that.
