Wow! How long has it been since I’ve posted an image of Dolphins vs any other NFL team? One day you’re sweating in your car in New Jersey with the A/C blasting because it’s nearly 100 degrees outside (most likely 130-140 degrees in the car), and the next, the Dolphins are playing their first preseason game. Unbelievable! If you’re like me, and know most of you are (at least in this regard), you can’t wait to see this team suited up and playing football again. You want to see the dynamic between Tua and Hill, you want to see if the offensive line is for real, after all the personnel changes and position changes. You want to see this defense performing like they’ve been together for a while (they have!). So what are some of the things I’m interested in seeing besides the obvious ones I’ve already outlined? I’ll tell you.
I know WR’s Cedrick Wilson and Preston Williams have been stuffed down the depth chart, and some fans have already written them off. I’d love to see a healthy dose of both of those guys. WR’s 6’5 225 who can run, and make contested catches don’t get discarded unless they have personal issues, injury issues, or both. Williams has had both, but his salary of $1.3M is totally palatable if he’s got his head on straight and he’s healthy. We brought in Cedrick Wilson from the Cowboys because he had a great season with the Cowboys playing the greater majority of snaps in the slot. Keep in mind that last year, we had our TE Mike Gesicki in the slot often but in McD’s offense, that likely won’t be the case, so Wilson Jr. has a good shot of seeing lots of playing time. He’s a veteran who knows how to run routes, find soft spots and make plays. I hope “EZ” Erik Ezukanma is as great as fans hope he is, but until the lights are on, don’t put him ahead of Wilson Jr. just yet.
The depth at DL will be tested somewhat with the release of DE Adam Butler, who did not pass his physical. Porter Gustin (formerly of the Browns), and Owen Carney Jr. a rookie out of Illinois are the backups behind Emmanuel Ogbah, who will probably be quite limited in his snaps for obvious reasons, so we’ll get a look at if what we have is sufficient, or if we need to address this with another FA pickup. In the offensive trenches, we’ll probably see a couple of plays (if that) of our starting O-line, which is LT Terron Armstead, LG Liam Eichenberg, C Connor Williams, RG Robert Hunt and RT Austin Jackson. Besides the surprise of Connor Williams at center, this how I expected our O-line to be from the get-go.
I don’t think preseason game 1 will reveal all that much, but I’m still interested to see which RB starts, who gets the most action and in what situations. Which back gets the short yardage carries, which back is in on 3rd down etc. To me, the most important thing is staying injury free. If you have bad game, fix it and do better next game, just don’t get hurt. I would like to see Noah Igbinoghene show something positive, anything really. Just give me a pass break up, an INT, a strong tackle or forced fumble, give me something. We all hope the new O-line doesn’t resemble last year’s line at all. I’m curious to see Teddy B and Skylar Thompson, who should both get lots of playing time. Oh yeah, I want to see our offense with a FULLBACK!!! I want to see Hunter Long make a bit of a splash, show us a lil sumpin’. Will Durham Smythe be the next top 10 balanced TE in the NFL? How will our ST’s look with so many big departures and new additions? Will Mostert be an electric returner and will Hill get some action back there too? Lots to see tomorrow at 7:30PM if you can watch it live, or Sunday, 8/14 at 7AM Eastern time on NFLN. Enjoy the game! Football is BACK baby!!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Must suck to be the owner of that stadium!
One thing from the game that struck me was that whenever a player went down and was then helped off or limped off the field…. McDaniel was always there right at the sideline to ask a question and/or show his concern. When Trill Williams was down hard, McD ran on the field to be there.
Have to think the team notices that.
Though it’s only been one preseason game, I concur. Methinks the team notices as much and will rally for Coach McDaniel.
There’s something special about Coach McDaniel, and it’s not just one thing that stands out. Sure, he’s quirky. Yeah, he’s very intelligent. No doubt, he’s a student of the game. Absolutely, he’s a player’s coach.
Still… there’s something even more than that about him, I sense.
We are all in the honeymoon period right now but let’s see how it goes in the next 1-2 seasons
Totally agreed, Hulkster. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I’m never ‘sold’ until I see results. Time shall reveal…
Your way of saying “The Force is strong with this one”? 🙂
😀
I suppose you could say that, Stanger! However, we shall see…
I recall wanting NOTHING to do with Adam Gase as our HC prior to Ross hiring him. My rationale was quite obvious: Peyton Manning was the OC in Denver, not Gase.
Welp, after one season as our HC, I started to believe that Gase was our answer to the HC drought since the great Don Shula. Then after his first season (playoffs!), Gase went NUTS on our roster. Strike one, strike two, and strike three in his second season with us.
The lesson has been learned… yet Coach McDaniel feels much fairer, more football intelligent, and is certainly more seasoned than Gase.
I truly hope Coach McDaniel is the answer we’ve all been hoping for. Time shall reveal…
“I just saw him flying around making plays everywhere and I think that’s kind of his game. He’s a real fast guy, and a great effort guy and he’s really talented.”

Irvin predicts the Cowboys will go undefeated this season. LOL, cocaine is a helluva drug.
…it don’t lie….lol
Got a DT too
That really sucks about Trill Williams. It always sucks when any player goes down for the season, but Trill was looking good.
Just hope no more…some of these are so freakish…
Saw the replay of the injury like 3 times. Only part that looked bad about it was Trill’s reaction.
Surprised X didn’t land higher than that. Tyreek sure will, but think that should be it.

“NFL Network on Sunday night released the first half of its list of top 100 players in the league, and Dolphins stars Xavien Howard and Jaylen Waddle made appearances in the rankings.
In the list voted by fellow NFL players, Waddle was ranked No. 63, and Howard was ranked No. 56.”
Just said goodbye to mom and mostly a message to Herd….
…hope you’re in charge of her end-of-life decisions….it makes a difference and I would trust you…my youngest brother sibling was/is in control and he’s a fucking asshole….the suffering she went through was undignified and….
….sad and pissed
….do what’s best for her and tell everyone else to fuck off…
Krishna I’m so sorry to hear. Peace to you and all who loved your mom.
Condolences
That’s tough as tough gets Krishna.
I know she was proud to have a son like you.
Sorry to hear Krishna. I too had to deal with similar issues with my brother at the end of my mother’s life. I feel your pain
People always amaze me….thank you
My condolences Krishna
Condolences, bro.
Do you think we should consider trading Bridgewater?
I would consider the whole roster up for trade!
Several would cost you way more than you would pay though!!!!
And then maybe someone would give up 3 1st for X?
Centers are going down like flies!
Krishna, so sorry to hear. My condolences to you and your family.
Condolences Krishna, so sorry
Boulder the only thing I would say about trading Bridgewater is to be very cautious. I know Thompson looked like everything you could hope for but that wasn’t Tampa’s starting D firing on all cylinders in late November. That was backups in August and Thompson’s first pro start. Bridgewater gives our new Coach a level of comfort I would have to imagine but I can see Thompson as a guy with a viable shot at making a decent career for himself in the league.
As the early part of the season goes on on maybe they do realize Teddy has some value.
Agree. Bridgewater is on a one year deal. Next year Thompson is number 2
Sincerest condolences Krishna. I feel your pain …… it’s coming up to three years since mum passed and it brought a lump to my throat thinking about how you feel.
Mum and dad only did a financial p.o.a. – not health, which in hindsight was a mistake, but fortunately there were no health-related issues which arose that were compromised as a result of it not being in place. I heartily agree with your advice to Herd if there may be any issues on the horizon. If it’s any consolation to you, I had the same kind of deal as you and Ken – my brother decided to bury my parents ashes without informing me – I’ll never speak to him again. As if grief isn’t hard enough to bear anyway?
I strongly suspect you have the internal strength of character to weather this storm, after what you have had to bear recently, but I’m sending good vibes to you anyway. To most, a mother is a one-off in our lives. A constant, a rock and a comforter. I used to speak to mine very regularly and every single day after dad passed for the almost 2 years until she passed. I still feel the hole inside me where she used to be and even typing this is making me upset. You now have 2 holes inside of you, but for the sake of those departed, keep making the most of things – it’s what they would want. I hope you can lay her to rest in a manner befitting her and may she rest in peace.
UK
Edit – forgot to attach this –
I certainly shed a tear watching it and you may do also. Hope it doesn’t upset you too much. Mine were good tears – a recognition of everything. Hope it brings you some comfort.
UK….and to everyone else, thank you.
Life is not easy nor is it fair…it’s how we deal with it. Today, is Mrs. K’s DOD…3 years ago.
I think I’m going to stay home…it’s certainly a wake and bake kinda day…lol.
Oh wow. Fate can be cruel!
Krishna – my condolences on the loss of your mom. That’s a rough one, I remember losing my mom 25 years ago. It’s never easy, I hope you find the strength to get through this. Hoping for better things to come your way my friend.
I remember Mackensie Alexander as a pretty good prospect. Let’s hope he can give us some quality depth and playing time.

Pretty sure Naples mentioned a DB “like” Desmond Trufant. Boom!
Cav – you got mail mate. You’re all set to go with your trial! Logon/password details sent!
Has anyone else had problems signing into your account to post? I have been having an issue where the site wont let me sign in.
It doesn’t matter which computer I try from (home, work, work travel laptop) when the comment box comes up there are the three little symbols for the methods you can use to log in W for wordpress bird for twitter and F for facebook. If I go to click on the W for wordpress a hover popup occurs that says “use one of these three ways to log in” and it hovers right the fuck over the W and blocks you from clicking it!! It would be comical to watch me try and beat the popup to the button if it wasn’t so freaking frustrating.
This morning I had to open a tab for wordpress, clos the tab for this site, sign in to word press, go to Gravatar.com and sign in there too and then reopen this site before I could post.
I sometimes have trouble from my phone, but not from my home PC.
I’ve got it figure out from my IPhone. Just need to squint my eyes and find the teeny tiny little three dots on the bottom right of the page and click them and then click login. (the only way I can get the Iphone or Ipad logged in)
My condolences Krishna. I tried to respond when you posted last night but could not get logged in.
No practices open to the public this week? there are joint practice dates with viewing days next week but nothing listed this week.. I wonder if the press will be able to attend and tweet out details or not. I wonder why THIS week practice is “secret”.
WTF does this mean from McDaniel on Greg Little??
“He’d been really doing well, flashing some stuff and gaining some confidence that he should have and deserves, and we didn’t want to compromise that confidence by putting him out there before he was ready,” McDaniel said. “He’s really day-to-day, and we’ll continue that evaluation so we can get the right Greg Little out there on the field.”
He’s injured and almost ready to return, word was he was playing well before he got nicked up
Ahhhhhhh! I don’t recall seeing him on the injury reports. I may have just overlooked it when they mentioned it in tweets or whatever.

Yes. Happens to me too and I can’t figure out what’s causing it. At one point I thought it was maybe an update on my phone but it happens randomly so I don’t think that’s it. Then poof, it’s working again and I have no clue why that is either. 🤷🏼♀️
It is intermittent like you said. It will prevent me from signing in for hours or a day and then just stop doing it and let me click it. I was losing my shit about it last night. LOL (Like trying to see the light in the fridge turn off)

That’s great! Really funny!
My condolences Krishna, you have the wisdom to grieve, reflect, then place her in that special memory bank, where she’ll be forever
It sucks when siblings don’t respect their wishes and cause problems
Well we knew some had to go
Shaheen gone for the season
Shaheen on IR wonder, if that’s the entire season version.
Maybe Gesicki insurance
I’d move FB Lovett to TE, he’d be our 2nd best pass catching TE, hope he somehow makes it
Unlikely even more these days, because of Skylar
I got two of them right, but technically I didn’t call Shaheen as IR, just a cut.
If Greg Little can be something close to avg as the swing tackle our OL should be decent enough all year, if not we may have to move Eichenberg to LT, then Kindley or Deiter to LG causing more issues, in the event Armstead misses some time
What I saw in the 13 plays Jackson and Eichenberg played was good individual OL play, but Coleman or just sheer numbers on D stopped the play
The Mack signing looking more and more critical!

Coach on Byron Jones: Process remains the same; very hopeful. The entire time we’ve all known that things have to hit on all cylinders without having setbacks for that to be the case and nothing has changed in that regard.

Coach says he wants to see Mackenzie Alexander play in their scheme before he makes a decision on what his role will be. Says you know what he’s done in other schemes, but needs to see how it translates here with regards to playing inside/outside.

Coach is asked if Tua will play this week: I do expect there to be some players who didn’t play in the last game who will play in this game. He says it’s not coach speak, but he really truly believe in the process and will not make that decision until the week’s work is done.

More coach on playing time for Pre W2: As soon as I know you guys will know. I’ve always played the starting QB in preseason game 1, literally. I didn’t think it was appropriate in this instance with regards to risk and all the variables at play.

Coach is asked what Noah Igbinoghene has done that has impressed him — his mental fortitude, short memory and mental maturity.
Where he can improve – Coach wants him to play loose, not play not to get beat. To trust his training.
Lol at Iggy impressing by having short term memory, then goes on to say, he wants him to play loose, not play not to get beat
So which is it, does he have short term memory and forgets about the previous play or does he need to improve on forgetting about previous play?
lol
DeVonte Dedmon was brought in from the CFL as a WR but mainly as a return specialist. With coach saying his is going to have Waddle, Hill and Holland returning (I still think this is a bad decision and hope he changes his mind before one of them get’s hurt on the return team) he is more dispensable.
I hope one of the lesser important guys grabs the pig by the balls and takes the return job!
Keep Bowden as WR5 and let him return.
That’s what I think too, but you’ll still see Waddle and Hill with an occasional PR
Using Holland back there makes no sense, it puts him at risk without the reward he .as break one
My condolences Krishna, it’s never easy. Prayers are with you!
After 1 week of PS we all have the same concerns we did before FA, will the OL be good enough, so we can run the ball and give Tua a little time to throw
Dolphins Add Veteran CB Alexander
If Iggy was competent I doubt this move would’ve been made, his days are numbered
Find it hard to believe Tua isn’t going to play this week, sure the practices against the Bucs and Eagles will be good work, but I don’t want him taking his first snaps against the cheats
If he may not play this week he’s definitely not playing PS3
Might not play
UK, I’m all set up. Looks good. Watched some Wallabies rugby for a quick minute before work, lol.
I do have some questions so I’ll shoot you an email.
Replied.
Uwantwat will be pleased with that!
They were getting their butts kicked by Argentina. Down 14-0 in the first 4 minutes, lol.
I’ve never watched rugby before. After watching just a few minutes, I quickly realized I don’t want to mess with Stanger. 😂
PS You discovered the Adult section yet? 😲🤣🤣🤣😵
I haven’t seen that yet. The wife will love that, lol. I only had about 5 minutes to play with the service this morning before heading out the door for work.
I just sent a PM to Ian to get subscribed. I don’t need the full 24 hours. I’m ready to go.
I mentioned it in my email, my only concern was being able to switch streams quickly if one goes down. That’s the benefit of one of those streaming hubs, but it sounds like we have the same option, just without the annoying pop ups or security concerns.
Cheers, mate!

–Asked whether this week is going to be set up for Tua Tagovailoa to start against the Raiders, McDaniel jokes, “This week is set up to not know what I’m going to do.” Says he expects some players who sat out against Tampa Bay to suit up against the Raiders. Whether Tua plays might come to factors that have nothing to do with him, such as needing to see other players and how they work with him in a game.
Krishna,
My deepest condolences to ya, buddy. Try to maintain and keep your head up through these dark times, knowing we’ve got your back with prayers, support, and many years of friendship to lean on.

The thing about interceptions in practice is they might be working on some things that they wouldn’t do in games until they have it down. It’s practice! You learn from mistakes in practice.

Rock, I’m having the same problem signing in using WordPress. That pop up box hovers over the WordPress option and I have done the same thing trying to beat it. LOL
The way I’m blogging now is through the WordPress site as a 3rd party. I have to sign into WordPress then search for this blog and then I can access it. But the format is totally different than this blog.
The way I have been working around it is to go to http://www.gravatar.com hitting the sign in at the top of the page AND THEN AFTER THAT open a tab and come to this site. It works about 50%. Sometimes I have to do it twice. It’s becoming a huge pain in the ass because I’m at work and have to close the browser occasionally which makes me go through the process all over after you close the tab….. URG!
Better than trying to hit the button quickly before the pop-up blocks it. LOL Like I said above, it’s like trying to see the light go off when you close the refrigerator door!. LOL @ myself for “Trying to sneak up on the button”
LOL
Okay I figured it out. Through the WordPress site it does have an option to ‘VISIT SITE’ on the top right corner once you’re signed in and you looked up this blog. If you click on that it brings you to the traditional blog format.
Will someone please explain it to Brady Quinn?
LOL
Really? How about Mac Jones, Brady? I think he gets a ton of undeserved praise too.
We’ll see this year on Mac, if the cheats go 7-10 and the media is still playing rub and tun😷
Fn spell check they ruined the punchline, rub and tug
Zach at 6’2″ and 214
Mac Jones 6’3″ and 214
Tua 6’1″ and 217
Would’ve thought Mac was taller, but they’re all quite close in size, if you believe those roster numbers, Tua listed at 6′ at combine
Wilson has thin legs. That was something a lot of pundits brought up after his first season. They said he needs to get stronger in the lower body. Tua has a stocky lower body but even he has suffered injuries in both college and the NFL. Maybe it’s not always about size (height and weight) but how a guy’s body handles the torque he plays with.
3 of them is what they’re are saying
3 of what?

Trent Sherfield has been crushing it lately for the Dolphins. He does have a structural advantage, however. “The playbook here is the same as it is in San Fran.”
Maybe a late bloomer. 😉
I’ve been having the same issues with logging in on my iPad. Computer works fine, iPhone not at all.
It’s really hard to see, but on the Iphone if you scroll all the way to the bottom / right side of the page three little dots will pop up next to the word “Follow”
Click on the three dots (not the “follow”) and four options will pop up. (hard to read because they are so small) really hard to touch with fat fingers….”click” the second choice which is “log in” and a new / easier pop up will ask for your user name and password.
I tell y’all. If I were a Dolphins player I’d be balling my ass off to get the orange jersey because some of the playlists that these guys pick are pure trash! I’d be out there fighting every rep. LOL
SB – You going to the Ravens game. I scored some kick ass tickets on the 50 in 100 section. Primary, not secondary, market even.
OOOOF!! not a good day
— Tagovailoa has been having a pretty good camp, but this was a rough day for him. By one unofficial count, he completed 11 of 30 passes in team drills with three interceptions, one in the red zone and the other two in two-minute situations. That did include two spikes. His final passer rating for his day was 47.4.
Maybe he just wants to play on Saturday, so stinking it up in practice sends the message he needs to play
I mentioned this earlier, maybe they’re working on different things in “practice” that would not be called in games until they have it down. When do you work on things? When you practice. Maybe they were working on a bunch of fades or routes that have to be precise to work but they can go for big gains if you hit them. I never cared about TDs and INTs in camp. It’s practice.
To catch back up, while I’m not sure I touted Alexander for us to draft, as someone wondered, 4yI certainly would’ve been happy if we did. He was born in naples and went to Clemson.
See, I disagree with Joe Shad on this. I think we are thin at LB. It is a position of concern for me.
What specifically do you mean?
I mean that I do not have confidence in our LB squad. I don’t think our starters are top half of the league guys and I think our backups would not be on other squads. How much more specific do I need to be on a passing comment? Do you want film cut-ups? I think our squad of LB’s is lower half of the league quality and could be / should be upgraded.
Rock, relax. It was a question that maybe you’re seeing something I’m not seeing.
For the most part, Phillips, AVG and Ingram will be our OLBs. Then you have Baker (underrated), Roberts (role player) and hopefully Tindall becomes a high snap guy. The other LBs we have are solid backups who have proven they can play in the NFL. I don’t see it as a concern but you do. I was wondering how you’re viewing that. You didn’t mention any LB specifically.
When your QBs throw six picks….. time for DBs to throw a party.
“The defensive backs had a little interception party, with Brandon Jones and Nik Needham reeling in Tagovailoa’s errant passes (Jones caught two). Noah Igbinoghene, Elijah Campbell, and Quincy Wilson caught the other three.”
Must have been quite the errant pass if Iggy got in on the INT party! 🙃
His Mom called both X and Skylar in order to get little Iggy invited. 🙂
The way it’s sounding, I’m not sure we see many of the core players play in the PS. Especially the vets. As long as they’re in good shape and ready to play week one, they know how to turn it on. Been there done that.
well
Uh-hem!
lol
Exactly, Tim!
Sounds like today they were trying to test out what Sanders’ max range is.
“Jason Sanders hit the crossbar on a 62-yard attempt and was wide left from 60 arc.”
What like practice? 😉
FIgure if he couldn’t make from 62 they wouldn’t be asking him to try. That’s an incredible boot.
They were doing exactly what you stated, testing his range. Maybe they’re willing to go 59 in games. Now is the time to get a feel for where he is. Nothing counts.
Training camp stats are less important than PS stats. We’ve all been through this for many years. Once the RS starts nobody cares about TC and the PS. This is the team we have. We’ve also seen teams progress as the season goes on. Start off 1-3 and then they’re 6-4. It’s a battle.
For me if our offense takes it to another level we have the defense and STs to compete with anyone. No team is loaded everywhere. Every team has some struggles and questions throughout a season. The great ones fight through it.
What about Dallas, they have no holes and are going 17-0
Except for durability and not knowing the rules of the game, they’re awesome! LOL
Tua’s ints, sure it’s just practice, but when you throw that many you failed on the drill you were working on, and unlikely to see much of those types of throws in a game
In other words, maybe he can’t make all the throws
Or the receiver. It’s not in a game. The difference is trying it in practice vs. I’m not throwing that in a game. We’re not that there yet. Like Parcells as a HC always said, they don’t know what’s happening here.
I’d rather have the kicker, that is 75% from 50-57, but can’t kick past 60 yards, than the one who can kick em 65, but is 50% from 50-57
Definitely agree
Maybe our DBs are just that good 😊
LOL, competition on both sides makes for a better team. 🙂

Was actually in a reclined position when I typed that earlier so I couldn’t have been more relaxed. LOL
Oh, by the way, when I read the word specifically in your sentence I heard Spec-IF-fickal-Ly in my ex-wife’s annoying manner in my head. So there may have been some bleed off aggression picked up by you. 😂

Hey Travis! Get out there and put a positive spin on that bad practice!
YES BOSS!
I see what you’re doing there. The defense beat the offense, how is that a bad practice?
“Want to really stress this point today. Asked Chase Edmonds after practice about it and he said it’s a good opportunity to test it out, try some throws you might not try in a game situation. Defense did their things, but please consider context to all the picks thrown today https://t.co/qH5jJdqNte

It’s still getting ready for the season. When do you work on such things, 4th quarter of an important game mid-season? Just dial it up and call it even though you haven’t run this play well since TC.
It’s practice!
The offense has been revamped. Stick with the core basics, principles and evolve. Oh my God we threw too many picks in “practice”. LOL
17 incompletes and / or interceptions out of 30 attempts is piss poor and I hope he gets it under control. Whatever “it” is. I read the play by plays and they were not all bombs he just sucked today.
It wasn’t just Tua. Maybe they were working on some different routes. No way that could be possible. I mean after all it’s August 16th with 2 PS games to go. LOL
Dang, still can’t log into the regular site.

WOW Baker Mayfield was one of 7 in practice…THEY ARE DOOMED! That’s what they discussed on NFL live. At least it wasn’t about Tua’s 3 ints.
It’s all so amateur. It’s fucking practice!
Relax Tim…..
See what I did there? LOL
Touche!
Phelon, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the comments section and then scroll slightly back up the page a little pop up that says “Follow” will appear with three dots next to it. Try clicking on those three dots and log int from there.
If those three dots don’t bust your nut you can’t blog. LOL
I am laughing at the fantasy draft ratings on ESPN “fantasy football marathon”
They have Tyreek as #9 rated WR, Waddle as #13 WR, Gesicki as #10 TE
And Tua who ostensibly will be feeding the ball to these top of the league guys is rated at #17 (which I thought was actually pretty high based on history)
Three dots worked
Of course by now I’ve forgotten what I wanted to say…
Any male here joining the mustache look these days? I’m seeing it everywhere and I have to say it’s kind of a douche look. LOL
I’ve had a mustache since I was 14, in 1982.
So I’ve got several comments about were they can put that douche bag!
You’re traditional. I had one too back in my early 20’s 30 years ago. I just think the last two years it’s come back and some guys don’t wear it well. No disrespect to you. Not everyone can wear it like Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot. LOL
Well there was this tonight
Another RINO out
Lmao

I see Tim is putting articles out now🤣
LOL
I want the PS to be over with no injuries without the summer going away, okay! LOL
Tim and Rock. Thanks.
Posted from my phone for the first time in a decade.
If anyone knows the timing for this weeks re-run of PS2 on NFL Network, would be grateful if you can post. Thx.
After posting I figured it must be on line and it was:

1pm Monday, 12:00am midnight going into Wednesday morning, for anyone who can’t watch live. That sucks as I’ll have to keep off Twitter and here all Sunday and most of Monday 😣
I too have worn a moustache since the 70s. Various styles over the years. For the last 10 years though, I’ve worn a full beard, although I wear it very close cropped.
Never been a fan of just the pornstache personally …….. do go with the “designer stubble” look though, which inevitably trends more towards Grizzly Adams in the winter
I wish I could rock a pornstache
🤣
Not everyone can rock the stache. Chris Evens for example.
No Bueno!
I saw the trailer for The Gray Man and thought to myself “Is that really Captain America with a cheesy pornstache? “
Between the pornstache and the two sizes too small polo, I had the same reaction.
I agree with this
Our best guess if Jones is unavailable for the opener? We see Needham, Crossen, and perhaps new signing Mackensie Alexander with Xavien Howard on defense.
Because his rehab has to go perfectly
“The entire time we’ve all known, including Byron, that all things need to hit on all cylinders without having setbacks for that to be the case. Nothing’s changed in that regard. He’s still in that part of the timeline where it’s unknown. As of now, he hasn’t had any setbacks, so still extremely hopeful. I believe in the player and the human being. We hold the same optimism as we did before.”
Would be nice to have Jones against the cheats, but they aren’t exactly loaded at WR, could be a high scoring game
POUND THE PATS!!
Beat the Cheats
Kill Bill
well
Rutroe to anyone other than EZ down the list of WRs, that have ideas of the 53
Catching the football is obviously a critical skill for a wide receiver, but Sherfield and fellow veteran wide receiver Mohamed Sanu Sr. know how to make up ground in the margins. Both have contributed considerably on special teams in their careers and have lengthy highlight reels consisting solely of downfield blocks.
Two times today, the Miami offense won the edge for big gains. On both plays it was Sanu or Sherfield springing the big play with a crucial block.
I noticed Sherfield was blocking downfield Saturday night!
My bold predictions for the season:
Dolphins undefeated (or at least win the division…it’s that time of year!)
Belichek retires after a losing season, finishing 4-12 behind the Jets in the division
Bills fall to earth, finishing 9-8 and missing the playoffs
The Jets sign Garapolo and continue to suck
San Diego does not make the playoffs
Aaron Rodgers retires halfway through the season, travels to India to become a guru
Jags win their division
those are some really “Hot takes” my friend.
Not so bold though to predict San Diego to not make the playoffs, I’ll guarantee it🤪
I don’t know how you can be so confident. I know the West is pretty good and will cannibalize each other but they are a good team with a good QB, good pass rush, good O line and running game. Playoff recipe.
You missed off “Giselle informs the waiter she’s finished with her Brady starter and is now ready for the Phish course”.
in the US we call a “starter” an appetizer. (I don’t know why) but your joke would have been more funny.
I thought it was entree, but that’s a main. So I stuck with starter. Oh well. Some you lose and some you lose.
No tweeting allowed from practice today or tomorrow. 😦

Coach on Jaylen Waddle missing yesterday’s practice — It was something he could have practiced with but we were trying to be preventative. He wanted to practice but we disallowed it.

Coach says yesterday was the most successful red zone period the offense had all camp. Then they went to situational periods and the defense answered the bell. Said the offense turned the ball over way too much in those situations.

Coach says he’s a positive guy who brings energy, but there have been opportunities where he’s had to point out “that’s not good enough.” He says that 100% of the time that he has to do that, his guys have responded.

Coach on yelling at players – I don’t major in it. I don’t enjoy yelling. But you have to do what you have to do to make them understand the urgency of the moment. If you pick and choose those moments, that state that you don’t like to be in, it’s purposeful

Coach on instances where you’re happy with both sides in camp — when effort, intent, assignemt, technique are good – which does happen – generally someone wins the down. I’m happiest when a period has back and forth (with both sides winning plays).
Live Tweets of practice! 🙂
That’s so good for those girls.
We could be having different conversations
Panthers S Kenny Robinson laid out Patriots WR Kristian Wilkerson in a special teams drill, causing more pushing and shoving. Next play caused another fight with big punches thrown.
Their game Friday night might be worth watching. lol
lol, I thought the same thing
hmmmm
It’s practice, sometimes the D knows what the O is working on, so almost like knowing the play
Saw plenty of that at the practices I attended
well
Friends don’t let friends gamble while drinking
Anyone travelling to Baltimore and looking for something to do after the Ravens game
How do you like them pickles?
Spiced!
I’m going to the game but getting out of B-more as fast as I can afterwards. It is a shithole. Good place to get shot.
I know it is the tourist area, but inner harbor is pretty cool. We’d go to the Green Turtle when we had rugby games there.
Even the harbor is sketchy these days
Wonder if another Sunday the same two chicks will be hosting a post-game party at Pickles Pub under the names Steelerfreaky and IronCurtainDandy.
Would be a good business model — Pickle’s is a 10 minute walk from the stadium and all those visiting fans will be there each home game.

Do the Russians play in Baltimore

Now that we’ve settled on the right fake name for the secondone — you get what I mean? Googled the place and it is not a Dolphins home like Slattery’s is. Just buy 8 outfits for two cute waitresses, take some pics and you are good to go.
Didn’t see this anywhere up the board…
They make the orange jersey out to be a big deal, but seems it’s mostly a beauty contest
“‘…he has decided to get surgery, which puts him on IR and out for the season, which we are in 100 percent support of.’”
“Interestingly, Shaheen is in the last year of his deal, and the Dolphins could’ve released him and saved nearly $2 million in cap space, but they’ve opted to keep his contract on the books. This will allow him to recover and rehab with the help of the Dolphins’ training and medical staffs, as well as use their facilities to work.”
We’re xsuch a nice team.
And we were just trying to trade him? Trying to pass off damaged goods? If he needs surgery now either Shaheen or the team was hiding something.
Having now read the full article McDaniel claims neither the team nor Shaheen knew he was injured. Find that hard to believe (particularly about the player), but stranger things have happened.
It sure does sound like Sherfield is making the team.
He’s the replacement for Hollis and maybe an upgrade to him. Better receiver and wash on ST.
^
Good call. He does have more speed.
You don’t tug on Superman’s cape
You don’t spit in the wind
You don’t pull the mask off off that old Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with the Fins
I will do all of the first three.
I won’t spit INTO the wind, but I’ll in the wind😁
Why wouldn’t I tug on Superman’s cape? He’s not Homelander, he’s Superman
Like the Lone Ranger’s mask is any kind of disguise. So stupid, like the green arrow running around in a hoodie and no one recognizes him? COME ON
Well all it took to disguise Superman was a pair of glasses. LOL
Tua thrua Tua interceptions today!! Oh my!
