I saw some doctors speaking on this with different media outlets and they all used the word hope because they know what happens when oxygen doesn’t get to the brain fast enough. 😦

Mike – I just felt that some of the prose was pretty rudimentary, almost like a first writer. But it’s been a long time since I read his earlier stuff, which I remember enjoying, so maybe I’ll go back and re-read them. It just took me a long time to get through the Firemane series, didn’t really grab my attention. I thought the Donte character was completely undeveloped, a throw in. Not even sure of his purpose in the story. Same for a lot of other characters.
Donte was more important in the first book. I guess the spell that was on him from the sisters of the deep was a wild card, just a little drama as to whether he would kill Hatu or not

Breath fully on his own
They leave the breathing tube in until you can breath a certain percent on your own about 90%, but this is done to ct(there)a, so they don’t get sued as much as precautionary reasons
He’s still at risk, but his status is much better than they’re leading on
Nobody official is saying much of anything right now, but this also concurs with what you said.
He is still on a respirator at 50. Percent oxygen which is an improvement. Also they generally don’t like to keep you intubated as that runs a series of complications and side affects

I’m reading the Bengals will play week 18 like normal, but there is some talk about the Bills week 18 game might be postponed or the date/time shifted.
Why would they change the Bills game? Emotional trauma?

I think it unlikely that game gets postponed, but this is uncharted waters, so who knows?

Krishna — I was in the same situation. I don’t remember 3 full weeks. But I came out of it and wasn’t a world class athlete. But you are right that Mary Ann was the one suffering the most. I was just dreaming and was going to either come out of it or slide into not. She was sweating every agonozing second.

The defense did enough to win against the Pats. Our offense and STs are the ones hurting us in recent times.

Looking at the list, I think he has a chance this year.
For some reason the people who vote don’t realize how good Zach was. You can put his production numbers up against any ILB/MLB. He’s right there with Ray Lewis and Brian Ulracher who is a big proponent of Zach making the HOF.

Every game we played since SF I was basically asking the team to win to take control of their situation so we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in this week. Now we’re in this position with our 3rd string QB, and while he looked pretty good in preseason, sometimes against 2nd and 3rd teamers, and we saw him look good at the Fest game, although 1 million penalties negated that potential TD drive that went about 140 yards due to penalties. Then he injured his finger while throwing against a Vikings helmet, probably gored himself on a horn. lol

Absolutely. And whilst Kellington certainly saved Damar’s life, it also should be acknowledged that the NFL deserves some recognition. It has a lot of critics (myself included) but here are a few things I didn’t realise about the support available in-game.
And lessons were learned from Christian Erikson’s experience which almost certainly contributed to Damar’s progress.
One poster, in that thread I think it was, said this is all now part of the CBA. As it should be.
