A lot of things have happened last year, trades bringing in top tier talent like WR Tyreek Hill, DE/OLB Bradley Chubb, a few key FA signings, notably C/OG Connor Williams and LT Terron Armstead. With less than a handful of 2023 NFL Draft picks, the front office once again entered the trade market and acquired a huge piece for our defense, CB/S/LB Jalen Ramsey. There were a few FA signings, LB David Long formerly of the Tennessee Titans, S DeShon Elliott from the Detroit Lions, LB Malik Reed from the Steelers, TE Eric Saubert from the Broncos, WR Braxton Berrios and OG Dan Feeney from the Jets and more recently, we’ve signed a couple of OT’s, former 1st RD picks Isaiah Wynn from the Patriots, and Cedric Ogbuehi from the Jets. Besides player personnel, we also signed one of the defensive minds in the NFL, DC Vic Fangio.
I can’t remember a player added via trade that had an impact like Tyreek Hill. He was better than anyone could have hoped, he completely changed the offense, the game, everything. He’s a dynamic force that even when teams employ multiple personnel to try to contain him, is still able to impact the game. On the downside, Bradley Chubb was less, much less that advertised as a Dolphins defender last season. I think that changes significantly this season with Vic Fangio. I can’t wait to see Phillips and Chubb feast with Fangio running the D. Fangio, no doubt was behind acquiring Jalen Ramsey, who will deployed at multiple positions, but the key here is we have so much depth, with S Brandon Jones returning, and the addition of S DeShon Elliott so that Fangio can move guys around without missing a beat. The NFL is set up for parity, but our depth right now both on offense and defense is the best it’s been in a very long time.
Although we didn’t have a lot of picks in this year’s draft, that doesn’t mean we didn’t add valuable players, quite the contrary. Our first pick, CB Cam Smith will have opportunities to play this season. I can’t say he will be the starter outside Game 1, but I do believe he could be before the end of the season. He was a pick both for now, and definitely for the future. CB Xavien Howard is on the decline, and while he possesses excellent ball skills, we have seen his speed, mostly recovery speed diminish. I love that we re-signed AVG, and added Malik Reed and last year’s first pick (3rd RD pick) Channing Tindall will all be key depth guys to help rush the passer. Our depth is truly impressive, with starters DE Zach Sieler, NT Raekwon Davis and DE Christian Wilkins, and then the LB crew of Jaelan Phillips, David Long, Jerome Baker and Bradley Chubb, CB’s Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey, along with safeties Brandon Jones and Jevon Holland. There will be a lot of mixing and matching personnel. Now keep in mind, this is just the defense I’m talking about!
Like I said, having only 4 picks doesn’t mean we didn’t bring in impact players, and I think our second pick, RB De’Von Achane may provide a ton of excitement this season. He will get touches as a return man, both punts and kicks. He will see the field as a RB, and he will be a demon as a receiver out of the backfield. With Hill, Waddle, Berrios, Anderson, Cracraft and even draft pick Elijah Higgins, you simply can’t cover ALL-THAT-SPEED. A-Chain is going to be fun to watch. Now I didn’t mention QB Mike White as one of our FA acquisitions, but let’s face it, we were ridiculously unlucky with our QB’s last season. Tua’s fragility has been well documented, but how many times did our 2nd and 3rd string QB’s get hurt, and a few times in the same game. Mike White also got knocked out of action, but he was tossed around like a rag doll by Buffalo that one game. I expect him, if needed to be better than what we had last season in Teddy Bridgewater and rookie Skylar Thompson. White was impressive when given decent protection, and he played through some tough rib injuries. We all hope Tua remains unscathed the entire season, but I believe if we need Mike White for a game or two, he can deliver.
On special teams, we have new punter, Jake Bailey formerly of the Patriots. K Jason Sanders looks to have a bounce back season. Braxton Berrios, and draftee De’Von Achane will be the return men. With the excellent depth we have on our defense, and offense, our ST’s coverage should be much better than last season with all the injuries. It’s not crazy to expect both our offense and defense to both be top units, certainly top 10 or better. When was the last time you felt this way, and had legitimate conviction about it? So, be excited Dolphins fans, really, be excited! It’s OK, I know somewhere inside there’s that Dolphins Fan Reflex that makes it difficult to get hyped, but we have a very talented team, and I think we have the right coaches to get what we need from the deep roster. GET HYPED!!!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Counting down the days
I’m counting down too, but it ain’t for that
BBM – the guy who beat the Vegas gamble you posted is from Leeds – about 35m from me. He’s also a personal trainer I was reading on Wiki. I’d be full on 2 of those sliders and some fries.
Small world, lol
How does anyone cover Cheetah?
Same qualities I mentioned with Achane fast, quick and short, if you can’t get a hand on them you can’t cover them
We could see Achane moved out to WR like Tyreek was
Both have good hands, where they differ is in the vertical, Tyreek 40.5 vs 33
Yeah Tyreek has an impressive vertical.
Sucks about Shell. I guess they feel ok with the free agent OT’s they already signed; Geron Christian, Cedric Ogbuehi, Isaiah Wynn and bringing back Kion Smith.
Along with Armstead, Jackson, Lamm, 7th rnd pick Hayes and UDFA Tunstall we have 9 OT’s on the roster. We only have 7 IOL on the roster.
What’s with these OL with bad names we keep signing Tunstall (Turnstile), before that was Holden…
Colonblow
I think the problem was they thought Brandon was just a shell of humself😜
lol
He is 31 and Wynn only 26.
So when Byron Jones comes off the roster, who will be added as player 90?
A kicker? Another OL?
If it is OL, I think 2 candidates are OT George Fant and OG Dalton Risner.
A DT
Our last 3 signings haven’t been reported yet on OverTheCap, so they should hit on the 1st, but we have the money for those 3 currently
We might just decide to use the rest for next season + injury insurance this year
We have as much talent as anyone, we need to just execute and not worry about who else we need
Another UDFA breakdown.
We are acting like losing Shell is some big deal. He was just another guy
^
It goes back someone liked what he did for us last year, then it seemed to be consensus, that we should resign him
He was the best depth we had but maybe not so much anymore with Lamm, Wynn and the others we added.
Stanger,
The Kongs aren’t going to make it to the fest this year. Just found out over the weekend we’re going to have our granddaughter most of October, so we’re going to be keeping everything close to home.
We may end up flying out and seeing a game in November though. If that happens, maybe we can connect with some of the Miami area crew then.
well then I’m out!
(I was really looking forward to seeing Kong’s wife again) 😉
JK/JBB
LOL
I am bit bummed, was really looking forward to seeing you guys again.
Gonna be real busy in So Fla with the Heat in the NBA finals and the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals
Gonna be crazy when the Dolphins win the Super Bowl next February too
👍

5/30/23 UPDATE: Miami Dolphins Orange Jersey Award TRACKER; a big time defender joins the party!
By Marek Brave@MBrave13 May 30, 2023, 3:40pm EDT
When Vic Fangio was hired to be Miami’s new defensive coordinator, many immediately predicted a big step up in production for third-year safety out of Oregon, Jevon Holland. Holland has shown flashes of brilliant play during his first two years in the National Football League, however, the 23-year-old is still waiting for his true breakout season in many people’s eyes.
Will 2023 be that year?
If today’s orange jersey news is any indication as to how well Holland is performing in Fangio’s defensive scheme, then the answer should be a resounding YES!
Jevon Holland was awarded the orange jersey at today’s voluntary organized practice — an award that is given to the team’s best practice player from the previous session. In addition to being adorned in the brightly colored threads, the recipient is also allowed to pick the music that is played during that day’s session.
Holland is the second defensive player to receive the award this offseason — joining linebacker Duke Riley on the list. Jaylen Waddle and Salvon Ahmed are the Dolphins’ offensive players who have worn the orange top as well.
☃️💪🐬
I don’t put too much stock into the orange jersey, it’s mostly a beauty pagent, for whatever message MM is sending out
I was hoping our D was goung to be like the No Name D, but not really a good comparison as we now have at least 3 major stars in Ramsey, X, Wilkins, with Phillips, Chubb, and Snowman ready to be passed the baton
In the end I want a great D, don’t care about individual greatness
Secondary should make the passrush better and hopefully vice versa
As good as I think our O will be, I think our D will be rated higher
Bummer Kong but I get it. We’ll miss you guys.
Big news story today, people opened fire last night on the Broadwalk outside of Margaritaville. Nine people injured, none killed thank goodness, but a one year old child was injured. One possible suspect in custody and looking for at least two other sick fucks. Hundreds of people out there at the time.
I was going to post the link this morning, but didn’t want to be De…thanks Debbie😜
Nice, I love guns…lol…especially in one of my favorite places…
Makes me feel safer….lol…NOT!
There’s a difference between guns and those guns
And why I’m moving further up the state next year
Dude…I grew up in South Florida….played and lived and visited that boardwalk…it’s part of my me…lol
All the gun control in the world isn’t going to stop criminals from having guns, but no one cares about criminals with guns
Duh…what is your point? More guns? Lol! Ok….
That’s why they’re called criminals…lol
agreed.
but well regulating the possession of guns and having sensible laws with harsh penalties will benefit, but cannot be discussed because of one minority group.
Agree Rock…
I need to “get out there” again. I never wanted children, but I want grand children now so I need to find some hot Gilf and get me some grand kids. LOL
Lmao…
There are definitely some hot grannies out there at your age…lol
Damn, the waitress at the Diner I go to all the time is 39 and just became a grandma.
Lmao…there you go!
20 years is generational or more…lol
yeah, but when you think about grandmas you don’t think of this Yoga enthusiast. (Insert eyeball emoji here)
“That is so boomer…writing out emojis”
Dove body wash commercial trying to convince us that gnarly burn looking stretch marks are beautiful…
No Dove
Damn Kong, that’s disappointing. You’ll both be missed!
Hey Kong, Just take your Granddaughter to the fest and she will officially become a Dolphins fan. Get her some gear and I bet she ends up on the Jumbotron. Plus you have plenty of great moms in the bunch to help keep her entertained.
👍
Some great dads too….

We are acting like losing Shell is some big deal. He was just another guy
——————
Hulkster, I’m surprised to hear this coming from you. No, Shell wasn’t like some kind of Pro-Bowl Tackle, but he was solid depth when Austin Jackson went down last season. He was PFF’s #13 rated run-blocking Tackle (not just Right Tackle, ALL Tackles), and fared far better than Jackson.
He’s part of the reason why both Mostert and Wilson had great YPC last season… plus he’s CHEAP!
I’m not going to cry over spilled milk, but the idea is to get better on the O-Line… and Shell did just that for us last season. I certainly hope Wynn can be that guy for us this year, but I’m not holding my breath, either.
I think he is better than Jackson but I believe a used sponge is better than Jackson. I just don’t think Shell or Jackson is the answer to our pass protection problem
Alright, I understand where you’re coming from now.
Seems as though Tackles David Bakhtiari and La’el Collins are possible cap-casualties who may be cut soon. Should that come to fruition, any takers?
Bakhtiari was PFF’s #12 overall Tackle last season
Collins was PFF’s #68 overall Tackle last season
Bakhitari is really good but if I recall correctly he is injury prone
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BakhDa00.htm
Yes, he’s had some trouble recently.
Both guys are looking to be shells of their former selves. 😉
Ever wonder why this coaching staff isn’t as worried about the OL as much as the media and fans?
Oh, I REMEMBER the Adam Gase days! We didn’t want to invest in the O-Line because the ball was going to be out of the QB’s hand as fast as Tom Brady.
That’s when bubble-screens were all the rage, and they went for negative yardage.
Just remember that the KC Chefs* lost the Super Bowl because even the elite Pat Mahomes wasn’t protected… nor could they run the ball.
I don’t want to fall into false sense of security, as quickly as Tua gets the ball out.
Adam Gase has nothing to do with it. How many bubble screens did we run last year per game? Maybe 3. That was Gase’s bread and butter. 12-15 per game. Stay current my friend.
How did we have 2 WRs combine for over 3,000 yards last year with no time to throw? Tua has been one of the least sacked QBs since he’s been in the league.
You skipped the Flores years and went back to 2018. Totally different roster.
We gave up only 35 sacks last year in spite of being the first year in a new offense with a new Center and a new LT and a first year HC and multiple injuries on the OL and having to play a 3rd string 7th round rookie QB in several games.
Only 7 teams gave up fewer sacks and Buffalo played only 16 games.
That’s 2 sacks a game.
I’d like it to be one or none,
but no team did that well.
Our offense gained 6197 yards for a stunning 6.1 yards per play. Our opponents averaged 5.3
We ran for 1686 which was a nice 4.3 ypc.
Opponents ran for 4.2 on 1751 yards.
We threw for a whopping 8.2 on 4765 passing yards.
Opponents only had 3992 passing yards for a 6.4 ave.
With our horrible pass D last year, we couldn’t get off the field, it skewed everything we did on both sides of the ball
As a result we didn’t run it as much as we should’ve, which we payed for later in the year, when our passing game slowed
In other words Fangios D should change everything, making things we did bad last year on O irrelevant, including stats
Another gash was running QBs, I don’t expect to see that again due to less man coverage
However, we scored 1 less FG and 1 less TD than our opponents.
Why?
Interceptions. We threw 15; they only threw 8 to us.
We had a -7 TO ratio.
So we hired a TO centric DC.
Young people today are so out of touch with reality

Asked about who could fulfill that “go up and get it role” vacated by Gesicki — “I wouldn’t say it’s just TEs, but really all skill receivers. There’s a lot of competition. I’m excited to see who wins it…for me to say I know who that’s going to be, (that’s presumptive).”

On Smith/Achane — Along the process there’s so much going on for rooks. You forget you’re joining a team that has established players and you need to make way on that team through the locker room…That’s what I see them focusing on. I can tell they’re becoming one of the guys.

On helmet cam — That’s a tool that has been around since the 20-teens. It’s not anything earth shattering. It’s a camera, but it does have audio. Some of the strong attributes of that tech is you get to hear play calls. You can library those play calls for players to hear.

McDaniel on Spoelstra — He has to be one of the best coaches across all professional sports. To have access to him, to be able to pick his brain, it’s an unbelievable resrouce for me that I feel very very fortuate to have.

McDaniel asked if he takes anything away from his trips to Heat/Panthers games — there’s information in front of us all the time that can be beneficial to us on a day to day basis; every day if you’re willing to look and listen.
Things transfer from sport to sport especially for coaching, so anything he can bring over from their success is a positive
The Dolphins get 13.6M freed up tomorrow. What do you guys think? Will they go shopping or wait?
🙂
It’s not a bad idea to take a break in case of emergency approach
But I suspect we might make a play on cook
Btw
We are one of just a few teams picking up the cap space
And we are picking up the most
How much total cap space will we have?
🤷♂️
13.6 + 2.7 – 3 recent signings, which haven’t been disclosed yet
They finally updated it currently 1.3m, 14.9m tomorrow
3.49m added for Ogbuehi and Wynn, then subtract 2.02m for the 2 guys that fell off the top 51
Thanks
Now let’s see if we can sign Cook for peanuts ….lol
Steve, I agree that we’ll do better against running QBs in Fangio’s defense.
I hope we don’t sign Cook. I hate the idea of paying $10m a year for a RB. The Vikings gave him that silly contract and now they want out. WHY? hmmmmm
His current contract means nothing, once he’s cut
He is unhappy because he believes he is worth more. Why do you think that would change to come here? Yeah, he went to highschool here and there is no state tax. Big deal, that does not make him want to take 4-6m per year.
We must also sign Cam Smith and Achane as well as Hayes and Isaiah.
Our draft picks are easy signings.
If you listen to Omar that’s 3.6m to sign our draftees
I’d say 0-6 in the division is more likely
https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2023/05/31/nfl-2023-season-why-patriots-will-win-afc-east
1.278 to sign Cam Smith, #51 is currently at 1.01m, so only 268k to sign him, the other 3 are below the Mendoza Line
Haven’t heard that one in awhile – Mendoza line.
Thought one of our Mets fans would pick up on that
79-81 I went to about 40 Pirates BB games, just missed him, he left in 78
I saw a blurb that Eichenberg is taking snaps at center. Too early to call but he could end up being depth on the interior. I would not be surprised if Feeney wins the LG spot or maybe some else. I’ll be interested to see if Ryan Hayes is moved inside at guard. He suffers from short arms syndrome for OT at the NFL level but he has move skills so he’s someone to keep an eye on.
If you were to guess what do you think Cook will get per year whatever team he signs with? I’m thinking in the 6M range.
Achane getting a lot of love lately
Speed and quickness flashes.

WTH does “The Dolphins, for example, are going to have a tough time not burning themselves out.” mean?
Owe Steve a beer
That’s how you sound when you’re gargling Mac Jones balls
LOL
https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/miami-dolphins-second-ota-practice-omar-kelly-five-observations
Well, we know this isn’t true….Tua can’t throw the ball 50 yards….everyone knows that.
These type quotes are the meat of the offseason for starving fans.
Why the Dolphins for Ogbuehi in free agency?
“What they’ve built so far and what they’re building on from last year,” Ogbuehi said. “I saw it first-hand (with the Jets). They’ve got something special going on here.”
And what does Ogbuehi think of his new coach Mike McDaniel?
“He’s great,” Ogbuehi said. “So far it’s a 10 out of 10. I love how he controls the room. Players love him. It’s a fun atmosphere. It makes you want to practice hard and play hard for him.”
GO DOLPHINS!
Nice!
steveccnv…I’m not sure what management/ownership skills you have, but acknowledging performance, even rah rah orange jersey shit, builds team unity, leadership, pride, and a slew of other meaningless (your view as I interpret your critique) traits a winning culture manifests.
Just FYI…
If you think you can throw all the best talent on field and just show up, you have no clue what it takes…lmao
Why would you even write something so capt obvious like that?
My statement had nothing to do with the players morale, it was a simple statement not to get too caught up in who gets the orange jersey, as in this guy got an orange jersey he’s going to be a great player thinking
LOL…my comment had nothing to do with player morale either. You truly don’t get it. That’s ok, you keep thinking what you think which is nothing close to what I think.
You think orange jerseys have to do with beauty pageants. I don’t nor am going to try and explain it again. Lmao….
I would rather extend Wilkins than sign Cook. (and Connor Williams and Robert Hunt)
Agreed
I am just going to say it and take my lumps. McDaniel is really hard to listen to. His cadence drives me crazy. SPIT IT OUT
I said that em, ah… last year, it’s just with interviews I believe, when he’s miked up talking to players he doesn’t do that, from what I’ve noticed
McDaniel was eating oreos and wants Cook here…lol
he speaks

I read it Phelon. It is bias and not based in any kind of fact. Believe what you like. It doesn’t effect me.
So you believe solar and wind really are green?
They’ve been greenwashed
MM grew up being a Nuggets’ fan and has become a big fan of the Heat and Spoelstra….
….lol, what’s a Dolphin coach to do?
When you play your 2nd favorite, they might as well be enemy #1 during the game
So is today national cap relief day?
Yup, @ 4:00 EST… that’s when it officially opens.
Between the cheats and the Bills, I hope he signs with the cheats
Between just those two teams, agreed. Nuk has also stated he wouldn’t mind reuniting with Deshaun Watson in Cleveland. I’d prefer that over the Bill or Patsies*.
Let’s go Heat
^^^^^^!!!!!
I’m not an expert in the field, so I’ll leave this for our resident experts Ken, Krishna and OD, to tell us why he’s wrong

I’ll answer for all three
“Because he is”
😁
We shall see and I hope he succeeds. If can make the Dolphins better, I’m all for it.
We need a LG. Hunt has RG and is getting better…don’t fuck with that…lol
Yeah, Bills got space for Nuk. lol
Not sure if I skipped over it or just forgot.
DT’s Christian Wilkins, Zach Sieler and Raekwon Davis are all free agents in 2024. Let’s get the first 2 signed to extensions!
All three will be back
Core fuckers right there
Truth here’s how I feel
We win a Super Bowl before these three aren’t on the team. One or all. 🐬
That’s why I said forget the Vikings RB. Spend it to keep OUR good players.
The FO has a ton of work to do as we are 46.7 million over the cap already for next season, though we would save around 27 million next year designating Ogbah and Baker as June 1 cuts in 2024. Add a pre June 1 cut of Cedric Wilson and that’s another 7.3 million saved. That would leave us at about 12.5 million over the cap.
Restructure you say, well we have already restructured the hell out of 5 of the top 6. Only exception is Tua.
Not sure if that accounts for how much the cap will go up next year or not.
I wouldn’t worry about the cap next year, we have a season to play and we expect to contend. 🙂
Sieler is only making (LOL “only”) 1.2 Mil this year. There was talk about him not coming to OTA’s being “signalling”
He’ll get paid and in 15 years we’ll retire his Jersey. Probably not but at least honor roll distinction. Good Player. Core. Team.
He is who I play in Madden when I am on Defense. I have my right stick punch timed almost perfectly. He knocks the shit out of OLmen. LOL
One of my favorite players. Great waiver wire pickup!
I’m hoping Achane is the new Hill. The “Hill replacement” so to speak. Not immediately, but on the same arc so when Hill retires he takes the slot as superstar and we keep rolling.
You guys try to talk yourselves out of Raekwon Davis being a monster. Fact is he’s a monster and he’s our monster. The show is only about to begin. For this whole team really.
Buckle up 🐬💪💨
Son has been into the cooler tonight.
😁
you seem to be very “huggy”
I’m glad I am miles away….
😉
I miss you
not spam
Sieler is making 3.2 million this year.
2.5 actually with a 3.2 cap hit. I don’t know who I got him confused with when I posted above. I had just read that one of our FA was making 1.2. I’ll find it now.
Sigh, first day of Hurricane season and we have the first tropical depression.
Depressing.
I know, right!
For those who think it’s about beauty pageants…lol. Read the first sentence from MM. It was in reference to using 6 OTAs v 10, but it still applies….
“I think when you’re able to acknowledge players’ hard work, and they get positively reinforced with actual action, I think it goes a long way. They are afforded the less practices because they’ve earned it because of the way they’ve approached the whole offseason. My standards for preparation are pretty high and they have recognized that and really heeded to the expectation across the board. I think in those types of circumstances, everyone benefits with a little bone here or there.”
From Rookies to Vets, Newcomers Are Starting to Feel At Home in Miami
Jun 01, 2023 at 10:00 AM
While the Miami Dolphins retained most of their key contributors from 2022, a host of new players, from rookies to veteran acquisitions, have settled into the team throughout OTAs and are already making their imprint on the 2023 Miami Dolphins.
Tight end Tyler Kroft and tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, two of the team’s more recent offseason additions, appear to be finding their feet in the locker room quickly. Kroft and Ogbuehi were both drafted by Cincinnati in 2015. Now, they’re back on the same team and share a sense of excitement for what the Dolphins can accomplish in 2023.
“They got something special going on here, and they have the pieces,” Ogbuehi said when asked about his decision to come to Miami. “I’m just here to add on to that and to go as far as we can.”
Now reunited with Ogbuehi, Kroft is looking forward to using his versatility as a blocker and pass-catcher in the Dolphins’ offense.
“I’ve always took pride in trying to be a three-down guy,” he said. “Excelling in the run game and the pass game. This is an offense that asks a lot out of the tight ends. It gives you an opportunity to do both which I really like.”
In addition to carving out his own role, Kroft is also helping ease the transition for rookie tight end Elijah Higgins, who is in the middle of his first offseason in the NFL.
“I’ve just been working on him because like you said, he’s playing a whole new position, it’s a new league,” Kroft said.
We’re gonna be scary good
Just saying…
I just went out to the shed and my still is missing!! Who took my still and is guzzling Homeraide!?
Lol, Rock…a closet redneck
I think Christian Wilkins gets done in a big way and I think by doing so actually opens up some cap space
His projected ave is 15.3M according to sportrac
5 years at like 90 mill maybe a hundred. He’s a big deal dude’s heart and soul he’s us we are him. Simpatico. 🐬

Ramsey
This is the kind of huge get that I suppose I had wished Suh was at the time.
Everything is different now !!!😁🐬💪
Everything is different now, son. Fangio is huge, Ramsey is huge, more talent is huge…
You’re huge too
Wait a minute, you know what I mean lol
Lol…it’s ok
Ramsey is one of the best Safeties in the league but he just happens to be a better Corner!
That’s like – WOW
Then the real Safeties are ☃️ and Jones ( needs an emoji)
Damn 💥
🕵🏾♀️
Rock, I stole everybody still tonight
I’m having a vision
It’s beautiful
I want what you’re smoking…I mean vision…lol
Soon
Not soon enough…lol
Stanger
We’re looking for Four already for 10/8 should we make it 5 ? 😁
Going to 10/8 and 10/15 💪
If we win 10/8 I’m not washing the jersey 🤷♂️
Lol…you will need to
Even if
They can’t do that to us, ain’t gonna happen. That gets picked.
Phelon, will you be around for 10/8 Giants?
Should be
Should we get you a ticket or just meet up with you?
Nope, scratch that. Will be coming back from Newfoundland moose killing trip.
Dammit
We’ll figure out a get together
What about you Rock do you want to go to 10/8 with us? You can’t go if that means you won’t go on 10/15 still
Who – Talked to a dude on the beach in NC today that had just caught a 2-ish lbs Pompano. Had a stache just like yours. Are you currently in TX?
Wyo – fooking autocorrect.
He lives in Texas
Definitely not me!
I thought the same Rock, about Achane being the next Hill, they I saw the verticals
Achane is about 7″ less, that’s huge for little guys
Heat getting back in it a little after getting their balls waxed most of game
Achane has RB skills. He’s not Tyreek as a WR. He can be a threat as a receiver but they’re not the same skill set other than being fast.
Tyreek is much more acrobatic. Hill has a huge catch radius for a small man and can flip himself around in space. He has great acceleration and then long striding speed.
Achane sees more like a missile that can stop on a dime and get to top speed in 2 steps. Achane is better equipped to burrow through the slop and burst out then outrun the angles with hyper choppy little steps.

Thanks Son, but I am scheduled to start up a project out of town that week.
All I’m saying is I see them converting him from a RB to a WR or at least a primary receiving target as time goes on. Hill was RB in college and KC immediately started him in the passing game and then gradually transitioned him to full time WR.
I could be wrong. I often am. (unless women are in the argument!)
You aren’t wrong now, and you are not wrong often.
(except about always being right in arguments with women)
About Achane,
I don’t know enough about how he’ll do in the NFL
to know whether he can or needs to be moved to WR.
I just don’t want him to end up like Jakeem Grant,
although he seems to have much better hands anyway.
I want him to be like Darren Sproles or at least like James White was for NE in his best days … making heartbreaker plays to demoralize the Defense.
Achane is a full step faster than Sproles and also 2+ inches taller,
so that’s good. Achane’s not nearly as large as White, but he’s twice as fast.
Ahhh you took that backwards Naples. When women are involved I find no matter the evidence I can produce, I am ALWAYS WRONG. LOL
That’s the same thing, Rock.
The mistake occurs before evidence, logic, etc. Is even attempted.
The mistake is defining the moment as a disagreement.
Instead …
It can be viewed as if it were one of those sci fi alternate realities that you love to read … in which the physics and psychology of YOUR norm is irrelevant.
Then you can just enjoy it, as when watching a film in a theatre. You can’t control those actors either.
I have a thing I do when discussing things with women. I’ll grab my junk and say “yup, it’s still there….I must still be wrong…”
Why do you think they call it junk?
LOL I don’t know. There are several threads on Quara dedicated to the subject though. about every 3-5 years it pops up again.

That’s what I’ve been saying, we have the talent to compete for a title, we just need to execute on the field
This s great … being in a virtual tie with last year’s Super Bowl team
for best in the league.
But I disagree with several of his ratings.
Giving our QBs a 2.8 out of 4? too low
RB @ 1.9??? too low just off the speed
TE at .1 ??? jeeez … why not just give our guys a 0?
Do we really have the worst TE room in the NFL?
Still, he has us the 11th best offense in the league,
even while scoffing at Tua.
On Defense he has our LB too high @ 3.5
and our Safeties too low @ 2.5,
but I can’t argue with the result, as I too think
we’ll be the #1 D in the league because of
Ramsey as a tool in a design by Fangio.
Naples, keep in mind that our edge rushers are considered LB’s too so that greatly increases their rating as a group.

Didn’t know this about Higgins…
Elijah Higgins is a standout at Bowie High School in Austin, TX. Very cool.
I’ve always had Austin on my top 5 places I’d like to live.
Being in Texas always stops me though.
How do you manage that part?
Some good news to report . . .
My son Brian just got engaged! She said YES! I ❤❤❤
Congrats, Mike E!!! I’m happy for you and your son Brian!!!
Thanks M! Happy for them, they’re so good for each other.
Awesome!
Thanks Mike!
Man, I would love to come hangout with you MFers. But, I just have no desire to actually go to a game, and given the cost I’d have to just make it a full blown vacay…which would require some forethought on my part….then I’d go find a chair, a beach and an endless supply of liquor.
***
I don’t know if it’ll work this year, but I’m still considering it and trying to figure out a way to make it work.
Just do it! Make a vacay out of it, you’ll have a great time!
Speaking of forethought, I have none when it comes to scheduling a vacation to meet the elected Fest date. See, our vacation request times are registered in December of the soon-to-come new year… as in, 6 months prior to our schedule coming out.
And that’s just another reason why it SUCKS to work for a Fortune 500 company with so many employees: it’s extraordinarily difficult for me to make it happen for the Fest.
Are there not enough employees to cover when you’re out on vacation? You’d think a huge company would be able to cover anyone’s vacation request. The Fest is almost always ion October, if you told them you’d like take vacation either the 3rd or 4th week in October, they couldn’t accommodate you?
I wish, my friend. There’s probably less than a handful of people who can cover for me and my rank, and I DO have 6 weeks of vacation per year.
It’s not totally impossible to make it happen, but it’s very unlikely.
Request the month of October
Mike, congrats on your son’s engagement.
Thanks Tim!
MikeE,
Congratulations on your boy’s engagement.

I’ve wanted to join everybody for years. I may just have to say WTF and do it.
Exactly Randy, sometimes you just have to say what the fuck . . .
It would be great to meet you, for everyone here, and to watch a game with someone like you who really knows WTF is going on.
Oh, and thank you!
Congrats, Mike. That’s awesome news, brother!
Thanks Kong!
Congratulations Mike E that is great news
Thanks Hulk
M – 6 WEEKS!!! Holy fuck, how do you take them all with their 6 months in advance policy?
Congratulations I guess Mike. It’s not like YOU got engaged. (Or pawned an expensive daughter off on some fella to pay for! LOL)
JBB
He does get the dowry. Hopefully he gets a little more than a wheel of cheese, a goat, and 3/4 of an acre on the alley-side of the father’s estate. 😆
Thanks Rock – I think . . .
I get 4 weeks and 4 days vacay now, but I NEVER GET TO TAKE IT ALL!!
Every year I leave 10 days or so in the kitty and if you don’t use em you lose em. grrrrrr
I am the only full time guy who does what I do for my company. We have a semi-retired guy who chooses when and if he will work that helps me out but he always seems to have a conflict when I want to go!
I can carry over 240 hours vacation every year to the next year. Plus they will pay me up to 80 hours vacation each year that I don’t take. And I still lose out.
I just checked, I currently have 260 hours accrued, and I’ve taken a bit of time off already this year.
Cedrick Wilson wants to play for the Dolphins amid trade rumors. Go out and ball and that can happen.
What’s he supposed to say? How’d it come across, if he said, he didn’t want to play for the Fins?
Players who feel they’re not in the mix request trades all the time. Maybe he really likes being on this team.
The problem is he cost too much if he is sincere let him take a pay cut to reflect the price of a third string WR
Markeyh, maybe that’s on the table. Good to see you on the blog.
How do you feel about the status of our team?
This is the best team since the 90’s and can potentially be better than them depending on how Tua plays.
Have you noticed how Tua’s and Dan have similar traits? Quick Release and pocket awareness? I feel Dan has helped Tua to see the benefits of mastering those qualities.
Tua is Dan’s Mini-Me!! LOL
Congrats Grampa
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Herd : my holiday situation is similar to yours where I can carry over .. I have a base 5 weeks , plus I accrue vacay $$ at 6% on any commissions I get.. I was kinda using it as a when I’m done account, but they made me cash out 20K last year … almost there agin ..
I don’t ever use it or lose it 👍
Pass along our congrats to Brian … our daughter is being married tomorrow… outdoors 92 F a forecast and get wear a black ( fuck you charcoal is not a color) suit with pants
It’s 92 in Canada?
Right? I thought the same!
In WINTERPEG yes 😊, has been for over a week
Wow it’s high 70s in NJ.
Congratulations to your happy couple as well!
Thank you
C’mon Randy! Say WTF! That’s what I finally did. I’m leaving for our girls trip we do in October each year the day after I’m back. Big reason why I’ve never been able to make it-always a conflict.
I also made everything non refundable-I can’t back out! 😂
Awesome
Way to go Mike E
Way to go Toba
Congratulations
Come on Randy (I’ll have the party goodies 😉)
I need to talk to you! 😁
And thank you
