It’s been a crazy week, it seemed as if we may be heading into this huge divisional home game missing quite a few very important players. As it turns out, we may actually be getting back some extremely important players. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but there is a chance we may see CB Jalen Ramsey get his first game action as a Miami Dolphin. It’s also possible that DB Nik Needham may see his first game action since his achilles tear in Week 6 of last season. Needham plays mostly inside at nickel, and always seems to rise to the occasion. WR Tyreek Hill, who injured his hip last week against Philadelphia was seemingly going to miss some time, but now appears to be ready to go against the Patriots. On the bad side of the ledger, it looks like we have lost OG Isaiah Wynn for the rest of the season. With Terron Armstead perpetually OUT, and Connor Williams questionable with a groin injury, that leaves the O-line paper thin. RB Raheem Mostert looks like he will play after sustaining a knee injury in Sunday Night’s game against the Eagles. The invisible rookie CB Cam Smith is now out with a foot injury and did not practice yesterday. One more to add, S Jevon Holland did log in a limited practice wearing the customary red jersey for those in concussion protocol. LB David Long Jr. appears to be fine and logged a full practice, which is good news.
With the Isaiah Wynn injury, and the aforementioned Terron Armstead OUT, the Dolphins O-line if Connor Williams can’t go will look like this . . .
LT Kendall Lamm – LG Lester Cotton – C Liam Eichenberg – RG Robert Hunt – RT Austin Jackson
OG Lester Cotton looked like he might have been close to winning the starting LG spot in training camp and preseason where he impressed. He did struggle some against Philadelphia’s big defensive line, but I expect him to be more prepared this week. Kendall Lamm looks passable at LT, but definitely not as good as Terron Armstead when healthy, whenever that actually occurs. Liam Eichenberg has had a difficult time, and while his snaps are accurate, more than starter Connor Williams, that’s the only positive to speak of. Back to safety for a moment, I had heard earlier in the week that DB Nik Needham might play Safety opposite S DeShon Elliott, but now it appears as if it will be Brandon Jones. It seems as if that situation is fluid and could change depending on the matchup. Hopefully, Holland can clear concussion protocol, but that doesn’t seem likely.
Let me address Jaelan Phillips, and clarify some things. I’m a Jaelan Phillips fan. I like the kid, he has the right work ethic, enthusiasm and physical ability to be a great player in the NFL. What I hated was all the hype he received before the season. I liken that to being on the cover of a Madden game. It’s a curse! As such, it has been a curse. Phillips is nowhere near a player being considered for DPOY, he was injured early, played ineffectively through that injury for 2 games before missing 3. After 7 games, Phillips has played in 4 games (starting 2) and has 20 tackles (11 solo), 1 TFL, 5 QB hits, and 1.5 sacks. His replacement, on the other hand has been far more effective, AVG or Andrew Van Ginkel. AVG has started 5 games, played in all 7, and 31 tackles (19 solo), 4 TFL’s, 9 QB hits, and 4 sacks. When folks gush about how great Phillips has been, sorry guys, but just not true. The stud has been AVG, not Jaelan Phillips. Now Phillips has plenty of time to be the stud we all hoped he could be, but up till now, as Larry David might say, “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.
It looks as if RB Raheem Mostert will likely have a large role this week. It’s odd, I haven’t seen anything about RB Jeff Wilson Jr. What will be interesting to see is who gets the touches when Mostert comes off the field. RB De’Von Achane will probably not see any action until after our BYE week, so Week 11. That leaves Jeff Wilson Jr., Salvon Ahmed, and rookie Chris Brooks. If it were my choice, I’d like to see more of Chris Brooks. Wilson is under contract in ’24 as well, but can definitely be a cap casualty with only a $700K dead cap hit. Brooks is not under contract for next season, he came in as a UDFA and is a bargain at $600K this season. Brooks and Wilson both are hard runners, but Chris Brooks will be 24 going on 25 while Wilson will be 28 going on 29 with a long injury history. Of course, Achane returning will mean less carries for everyone, including top back Raheem Mostert. Before Achane was injured, Mostert and Achane were basically splitting carries, and with great results.
If X is healthy enough to go Sunday, we may finally see the CB tandem we’ve only dreamed of, Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey. To be realistic though, Ramsey should be on a snap count, which will limit how many snaps he plays, so Eli Apple will probably see a fair amount of action, or possibly Kader Kohou. If Ramsey and Apple split time on the outside, Kohou and Needham may split snaps inside, where both are best suited. Both Kohou and Needham have done their best work inside. Ideally, we’d see Holland and Elliott at safety, but unfortunately, we might have to wait a week to see that quartet. If somehow Holland were to clear concussion protocol, I wouldn’t be surprised if Brandon Jones plays while Holland, who is so important to this team is given a rest this week.
At WR, River Cracraft has been designated to return from IR and has the customary 21 day period to be activated. If Hill is playing, and it appears as if he is, and WR Jaylen Waddle is able to go, he was dealing with a back injury in Sunday Night’s clash with the Eagles, it will probably be Hill, Waddle and Berrios. After that, Cedrick Wilson Jr. got some action and made the most of it, so I’d expect him to be active. It would be a toss-up between Robbie Chosen and Chase Claypool, I don’t expect the Dolphins to rush back Cracraft this week, but who really ever knows? Also, hopefully FB Alec Ingold is ok with his foot injury and create some room for whomever is carrying the football. I’d love to see the 3 pass rushers, Phillips – AVG – Chubb make a killing this weekend. You can include Wilkins, Sieler, Davis and any of the other defenders as well, but I’d love specifically for the trio to wreak some havoc on Mac Jones, and take over the game.
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Wynn and Brooks might be so hurt that they are done for the year, but I hope not.
I think once we get Achane back, our offense does NOT go 3 and out or have slow starts like the last few games. The threat of his speed in a legit RB skill set opens up our entire offense.
So I am a little confused about who’s gonna be ready or not next week
In part bc we keep discussing in terms of who will be ready after the bye
But Holland should clear confusion protocol this week. X was a game day decision.
Armstead and Connor Williams might be back for KC
A lot of these guys that are injured are gonna play next week
Then we get the BYE
I don’t think we are necessarily waiting for the ByE
Chiefs starting as early 2.5 point favorites
Why would that be?
They’re “home” and they’re the Chiefs
Good. Let them be the favorites
X should be back for next week’s game. Achane won’t be back until after the BYE. Williams should be back, he was on the gameday roster Sunday, he just didn’t play.
Surprised he didn’t play with all the damn injuries
We have all heard of third world countries. Can someone name a second world country for me?
From what I Learned as a history major:
First world countries: countries that existed pre 1914/WWI
Second world countries: Countries that came into existence between 1918 and 1939.
Third world countries: Countries that came into existence post WWII.
This of course has been bastardized and 3rd world countries generally now means less developed countries
So 2nd world would be primarily Eastern European countries that came out of the break up of the Austrian-Hungarian empire
Also the break up of the Ottoman Empire
“He did phenomenal. You want to talk about something that goes above and beyond, like you can’t manufacture what he brought to our team in any other way.”
– McDaniel on Ramsey
Now if X is back with Kohou and Needham rotating in the slot that is nice
Kohou has played better to the outside than I thought he would. It’s a good thing to have in our back pocket in case Ramsey or X have to sit out.
Kohou got crushed by Diggs on the outside
Yes he did. Still like what we have in the kid for a bag of chips.
Will Levis (from Madison CT, one town away from me) had himself quite a day yesterday
On the elevator today.
“Ahead of Miami’s departure, head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Monday that Armstead will be traveling to Germany with the team, and they will evaluate whether or not he’s healthy enough to open his 21-day practice window.”
“If he’s determined to be able to practice, he can start as early as Wednesday and even be activated before the game on Sunday.”
They should definitely activate him for the Chiefs game, that way when he gets injured, he’ll have the extra bye week to recover
Our best offensive lineman this year
How many of you predicted it?
He has been rock steady. The cost to re-sign him is going up every game, lol.
I don’t know if I would have predicted, but he got drafted in the middle of the first round. For an OL that is at worst supposed to be long-term solid.
I have still not seen anything on Hunt’s injury status.
Oh, here we go:
Right guard Robert Hunt’s hamstring injury does not appear to be a long-term issue. McDaniel called his status “day to day.”
Good news
ROFLMAO!

Accept it Coach. You are a celebrity now.
LOL, the kid doing the MM halftime race with the camera had me weak
▪ The Dolphins will be practicing this week in Germany, while the Chiefs will begin preparations in Kansas City.
Why did McDaniel decide to fly his team to Germany on Monday evening?
“There’s so many people that haven’t been to Germany and I kind of wanted to get settled and have a post-Tuesday – so Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – that was more routine as well as I didn’t want people – you have a player day off, why don’t you use that to see the sights as opposed to getting there late,” he said. “I was kind of nervous about people trying to cram in sightseeing.
“I think it provides an opportunity to go as a team, spend time together, spend the player day off together, and further cement some memories for us to hold on to as we progress on this journey with this team. That was kind of my thought process behind it. There’s some science stuff that I won’t bore you. Don’t call me on that because I can’t – it was like back from May or April when we made this decision, so I can’t really remember the science.”
▪ While the team is in Germany, McDaniel will encourage players to “do things together. There’s strength in numbers.”
Another reason McDaniels is loved by the players. They are going to Munich and he is like “We’re going to frick’n Munich….. I want you guys to see more than the hotel and the practice facility.”
“Yeah, I knew the coverage, I knew everything. I just made a bad throw really late. I didn’t really drive it. That’s what happens on that play, the guy either takes it and it’s a touchdown or the guy falls off and nothing happened.”
— Mac Jones talking about the Ramsey pick and exhibiting the thinking process that Pats fans want in their QB. 🙂
I think Mac jones may be an even bigger douche than Zach Wilson; at least Zach Wilson has the excuse of only being 16 years old. That was never going to be a good throw, Jones. It was a bad DECISION.
If you knew the coverage, you wouldn’t have thrown that way, lol.
Zach Wilson is just a spoiled momma’s boy. Literally
lol
It was nice to have a solid game in all 3 phases. We’ll need that to beat the Chiefs who have a better offense and defense than the Pets.
Chiefs defense is really good
I was surprised to see they are #2 in the league with fewest points allowed per game.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38780715/sources-giants-trade-dl-leonard-williams-seahawks
Better than Buffalo getting him!!
Dolphins are flying out this afternoon to Germany to practice the entire week there. KC is preparing at home and going to fly in for the game. I hope the extra time getting used to the time change will make the difference!
I think Mac jones may be an even bigger douche than Zach Wilson; at least Zach Wilson has the excuse of only being 16 years old. And a lesbian, so there’s that
LOL
I am so fucking pissed off that I am going to miss the game next week. My cable station is still in a lawsuit with NFL network and the “local” area stops 5 miles south of me. (My cable company caries the WPB affiliate of CBS, not the Dade / Broward affiliate. I can’t even go to the bar to watch because the bar isn’t open at 9 fucking am. GOD I HATE THE NFL BUT I ESPECIALLY HATE AMAZON. FUCKING CRASH AND BURN ALREADY!
Just remembered that it’s not an Amazon game, but rather an NFL network game, but my hate of Amazon still stands.
Can’t you just download it to your computer or phone?
Not sure it helps you any, but I did read this:
The broadcast of the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs game at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt will be aired locally on NBC6 in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Thanks. Channel 6 stops about 5 miles south of me. My local is Channel 12 which is showing infomercials according to the guide.
Rock, I bet there will be plenty of places opening early for the game, brunch with the Fins. Might be fun.
And yes NFL Network so you should be good
Not sure I’ll be watching on Sunday. I’m going to a Herd away game next weekend in Boone, NC(Appalachian State). Going to try to find a bar that’s open, check out early and watch. So far, I’m seeing nothing opens until 11 am. What makes it worse is the Herd is kind of sucking this year, we planned this before the season even started. UGH!
YouTubeTv on your phone 👍
And a Bloody Mary
You’re so smart! 😊
I can do one better, my iPad for a bigger screen. But I’ll be having a long drive afterwards to get home so prolly have to forego the drinks. I’ll think of something…😉
There you go, I’m sure you’ll think of something
Feel your pain UCF is laying a turd this year
Chiefs game on Sunday will start for me whenever I wake up. No way am I waking up at eight. Living in Broward and having a DVR works well.
9:30 EST
You might be able to catch some of it
I will catch all of it….. only Q is when. But for sure won’t be on the board while it is live.
Honest question, am I the only person who finds the casting of teeny tiny itsy bitsy little Tom Cruise as an action hero (over and over) a bit farcical? I mean every time he is cast I see it as a Parody. It is comical.
No? Just me? How does this little no talent “actor” who’s every “Character” is exactly the same get 20 million per movie!?
He’s the luckiest fucking person in the history of luck
I don’t get it
I used to like him-loved Top Gun back in the day, that volleyball scene was really good, not necessarily Tom, the entire thing. 😳
Now I can’t watch any of it. Not a fan.
Rock, you can get NFL plus for like $7 a month and watch the game on any device or tv that way. Just order it and cancel it and you’ll get the game for $7.
And then you’ll get replays for a month
Thanks!
Rock – Not sure if you’ve ever watched Jack Reacher on Amazon Prime, but if you have, I can’t picture Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher at all after seeing the dude that plays him on Prime. He’s huge, and it seems silly Cruise played him.
Agreed. The show was awesome, I never saw the movie. I wish they’d make more with the huge guy.
Yes, I watched it on prime and that is who I pictured when I read the book
Why do we play Baltimore every fucking year? They are not in our division. Why do we have to fucking play them every year?
OK it’s not every year but 12 out of 15
https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/baltimore-ravens/teamvsteam?opp=17
This time is because we both finished second in our divisions
Wyoming! Where is the pretty girl NFL satire?
She has not posted this weeks video. Her name is Annie Agar. You can find her on TikTok
No, No I cannot find her on TikTok. I do not TikTok. Or x or whatever they call it now. (Such stupid marketing by him there., the platform formerly known as twitter and doing things formally known as tweets but that have no name now.)
Sonny – there is more Reacher coming soon. Possibly by year’s end or early next year
Cool, thanks
That’s why we picked him up
Should be fun to watch from here
That one foot plant and flip the hips was amazing
Stupid throw by Jimmy G
Don’t look now, but Christian Wilkins is trending toward 10 sacks this season (9.5625, to be exact).
Priority #1 after our season is over? Re-sign Wilkins!
That’s priority #2. #1 is a contract extension for Tua
Ooooh! Didn’t consider that before I posted. Alright…
1a) Tua
1b) Wilkins
They are, after all, the leaders on their side of the ball.
Tua is going to get a payday. It should be in Burrow and Herbert territory
Absolutely correct, Hulkster.
I don’t envy GM Grief’s task ahead of him in the offseason: who to re-sign and who to let walk.
Key question will be is what the cap will be?
Just remember, the cap will affect all 32 teams. If one of our current players gets a better deal from another team, he could be gone for a better payday.
What we DO have going for us? Tax-free Florida, sunny and warm Florida, and finally a winning team in Miami.
Goff to LaPorta! TD!
Lions are about to roll!

The Cleveland #Browns have been exploring the edge market, source says.
#Dolphins Emmanuel Ogbah and #Eagles Derek Barnett are two names to watch
That would actually be good to shed his salary for the next few years , although I’m sure we would have to eat some , and hopefully get a decent pick in return
That would be good for Miami. Gonna need that $17M in cap space next year. And whatever they can recover of this years $17M.if they can get a bag of chips in draft picks that would be great…he’ll be a cut next season anyway.
We only owe Ogbah 4 mil in signing bonuses for the last 2 years of his contract, plus 2 mil this year.
If we traded him now, we would just have 2 mil dead cap in 2023 and clear $15,185,292 for 2023. Then we would have 4 mil dead cap in 2024 and clear $13,800,000 for 2024.
If we don’t trade him, we have an out clause for 2024. I see him as a release after the season possibly with a post June 1 designation. That way we clear $15,800,000 off our 2024 cap with 2 mil dead cap in 2024 and 2025.
Either way, I see this as his last season on the Dolphins.
Knowing that, it would be great to get SOMETHING, anything really, in trade. Swapping picks would be better than just letting him walk. Takes to to tango though, so unless they have someone on the hook already it’s not going to happen in the next 5 hours.
Yeah, clock is ticking. We could still do a pre June 1 trade when the 2024 league year begins but that would be for a low pick or a swap of probably.
The Patriots are currently the lowest rated team
in the entire AFC in terms of playoff seeding.
lol
Can you imagine players doing the same if Nicky Saban was coach? He put out a memo saying staff should not make eye contact with him.
Commanders trading DE Montez Sweat to Bears for second-round pick
good; we don’t have to face Sweat now.
^
Why are the bears, who are out of it, trading for a guy who’s a free agent this off-season
I would imagine they will sign him to a long term deal. Secure a DE for the future
The Bills have signed Leonard Fournette for the second half of the season.

not great for us; hope he’s lost a step.
He lost like 5 steps
He’s not really much of a threat IMO
Did some one on the Bills get hurt?
What lead to this?
Yes the Bills ego has been hurt
Tight end Durham Smythe was spotted in a walking boot in the locker room Monday, but McDaniel downplayed the severity of the injury and left open the possibility he will play.
He got hurt after his catch. I saw him sort of limping. I think he played through it and it probably swelled up after the game.

@TomPelissero
Was wandering who they would get. Heard Dobbs rumors but surprised not a more experienced vet.
I thought it was going to be Tannehill
That doesn’t make sense to me. Unless it was a “done deal”, which there is no such thing, then any player in trade discussions would travel.
Yeah, not sure why traveling to Germany would change anything.
Not sure I understand the Vikings trade. I don’t see Dobbs as the guy who makes the Vikings a playoff contender
Rewatching the game, I’m annoyed all over again Elliott didn’t just fall on that fumble, lol.
And it really looked like Smythe got tackled with his leg awkwardly under him on his catch in the 1st quarter. He continued to play though. Hopefully he’ll still be able to play this weekend.
I mentioned that above. I saw the same thing. At first I thought it might have been bad.
Sunday’s Pats game was 2nd choice for the Pats game. Would have been a good game to watch and a little cooler, even if more pricey.

I will take you up on that
Chase Young to Niners. Wow
So we don’t have to face him this year.
We will in the SB?
WOW!
It is funny seeing all the Vikings fans thinking they were going to get Brady out of retirement
I mentioned this during the game. Robert Jones is better than Cotton and I thought Jones worked his way into the #2 position at backup OG until he got hurt.
We desperately need him to play well
He is another of many OL we need to resign. He is a RFA though and we could get compensation if we tender him and someone else signs him away from us.
Glad Mike White is not the one the Vikings got.
Commanders hitting the reset button.
49ers can afford it. Thay have an ass load of draft picks in 2024, counting their projected comps.
Investigate Washington for tanking.
They traded away both DEs.
No need. New ownership. Going to fire the coach at end of the year. It’s a tear down
yep
I was being sarcastic because ppl said that about us when we had to do a massive rebuild.
We have not had an easy schedule.

Tua was good before Tyreek, too.

Tua would’ve hit these.
https://x.com/SharpFootball/status/1719190817636491536?s=20
That WOULD have been 12 on the board if Tua was chucking it.
QB Aaron Rodgers reiterated on Tuesday’s Pat McAfee Show that his goal is to return this season after suffering a torn Achilles in Week 1. Rodgers said, via ESPN’s Rich Cimini, that he is not jogging yet, but is walking normally and can put “legitimate” weight on to his surgically repaired leg, get on to his front foot and do calf raises. He underscored that he has a long way still to go and needs to be able to move well and take snaps from under center.
I so can’t stand Rogers
I can’t either.
Commanders get a 2nd and 3rd round picks next year for players who were going to be UFA’s next year anyway. Good move on their part.
and the Bears 2nd round pick they get will be a high one.
What does it tell your fans when you trade away your two edge rushers?
It says you have a stupid GM who can’t figure out how to rebuild around your 2 best players.
I’d be pissed off if I was a Commanders fan.
This is no surprise. They are blowing it up. New ownership group. What they have been doing for years has not been working
It’s been 10 years since the Wake Off safety.
Was just looking through NFL stuff and saw again some greatness. Pats are; bottom of division, 2-6, Tua 6-0 vs Bill, Wilson led Jets have a two-win advantage, and nothing looks like it will change their trajectory soon. Mmmmm, so good.
What makes this even more money is it was 3rd and 9 during the drive that put the game away. We don’t make this play, the Pets get the ball back down 7 with around 6 minutes left.
That’s obviously worked on in practice.

I agree. They had plenty of cap next year to resign both of them, like 85 mil.
CB Rasul Douglas to Bills for 5th round pick
WR Donovan People’s Jones to Detroit for 6th round pick
worse, the fucker isn’t even looking.
We don’t need no stinkin’ last ditch efforts!
We deep!
There aren’t usually quality OL available this time of year because most teams need them.
^^^^
I didn’t realize the Commanders were blowing it all up but if they are then it makes sense.
Yes new ownership group took over this year. They will have a new coach next year and will definitely be in hunt for a top tier QB prospect
Yeah I don’t think they believe Sam Howell is their guy.
Sam Howell had a really good game last week but he has had some really bad ones too. He looks like he will be a good backup but not starting caliber
Agreed on Howell. Lots of QBs have the physical tools but they don’t process the game quickly like some other QBs we know.🙂
Sam Howell was signed onto Fields Forever and he exploded. Just needed some savvy coaching.
I know.
They are 3-5 and I did not see their season as hopeless.
I haven’t done the match, but this CAN’T be true can it!? LOL
That would be a 44.9 yard average on those punts….
Not sure but they did both punt a lot.
Right now the Jets can only win games buy holding opponents to less than 20 points because that’s about as much as they can score. They do have a good defense but it’s hard to make the playoffs playing like that.
There defense is playing at an unreal level
I don’t know about unreal but very good.
There were more punts than points 24-23.
It was a really poorly played game by both teams. It is a shame one of them had to win
24 punts
Can’t relate….
🤪
Suddenly I’m excited about the Commanders game
Another 70 bomb?
Big game Sunday morning. I don’t care about the not beating teams with winning records as much as where a win over KC puts us in the standings.
The regular season is not about convincing people we are for real
The regular season is about making the playoffs and playoff positioning
So it’s a big game this weekend
But mainly bc it’s put us in a good position to take the 1 seed
Bingo!
There are 4 teams at 6-2 in the AFC and only the Chiefs and us are 4-1 in the conference. Why are the Chiefs ahead of us, SOS?
Feeling confident about the Germany game
I don’t know why but I think we have a really strong game and win by multiple scores
Am I crazy?
Yes but not necessarily for that 😉
Don’t get your news from Spermcenter
I always go there…oh wait a minute
I don’t have a real feel for this game. I think the Chiefs are the better team but not by a lot. Their defense is really good, better than ours. Mahomes is imo the best QB in the league and his connection with Kelce is unstoppable. That said they are not as explosive as they have been in years past. We need to be explosive, get out ahead of them and force them to keep up but that is a tall order against their D
I think if we can limit Kelsey, we can win this game. They have neglected the other weapons on the team. No real running game no real threat at wide receiver. If we can somehow take Kelsey out of the game it is ours for the taking. Blanket him with number five.
If we can move the ball against their defense on consistent basis, the game comes down to our defense. The Chiefs are not that explosive on offense.
Having X and Holland back along with Ramsey could be the key.
Don’t be surprised if Ramsey covers Kelce at times.
Ramsey on Kelce is an advantage for KC. Ramsey will be at a disadvantage in terms of size and strength
Nah he’s an elite athlete with a lot of reach and he’s a good tackler. Kelce has slowed down and he relies on savvy route running. What does size and strength have to do with 7-8 yard routes exploiting zones in the middle of the field?
My viewing problem is solved. A bar tender I have known for years got my phone number from one of my buddies and called me to tell me that they are opening early Sunday morning and I am invited LOL. Drumming up business. She is smoking hot
Nice. Double nice
Good for you, Rock. Be sure to actually glance over at the game a few times, ok?
Whoever would have thought that having games in Europe would mean that Rock would get to hang out with a hot bartender some morning.
Can AVG help Baker cover Kelce? He might go too deep for Phillips. I want Phillips rushing the QB.
I think the best match up would be Holland or maybe Baker
I rotate all my best coverage guys on Kelce mixing it up. Make their WRs beat us, they’re not special.
Against this Chiefs offense I rush 4, one spy on Mahomes kind of like RPO on offense, follow his eyes and movements and don’t commit to coverage until he throws the ball. You then have 6 or 7 in coverage and plenty of tacklers. The key against Mahomes is pressure and not allowing him to run around or run for 1st downs. That’s how he keeps drives alive. He’s not a great rhythm passer, he’s more sandlot like Roger Staubach or Fran Tarkenton. You can’t sell out blitzing or rush only three.

LMAO! in my Richard Pryer voice *look what you did to those kids, you BIG, GREEN, FUCK!*
😆
It’s Halloween, so it’s worth another look, Hulkster!!! 😀
🤣🤣🤣
I think I’m happy we didn’t make any moves prior to the trade deadline today. Yeah, Ogbah was ‘rumored’ to be traded… but WHAT IF we lose a stud EDGE or D-Lineman down the stretch? We have depth unlike any year I can recall over the last several decades.
We’re in it to win it this year, FAM!
You don’t get rid of pass rushers mid season when you’ve got something good going on.
Said it in the off-season this calendar year, reiterated it in the pre-season this calendar year, Barry Jackson wrote about it afterward, and I’m sticking to it…
Xavien Howard, Jerome Baker, and Emmanuel Ogbah won’t be with us in 2024. Why? We need the cap space vs their production.
Replace them with who?
We need to re-sign all these players and upgrade losses.
We’re a good team, enjoy the moment.
Tim,
There’s no way we can re-sign everyone. Tua will get a massive extension, Tyreek costs us a lot of money, Chubb, Howard, Armstead, Ramsey and Ogbah are making big money as well. We are going to lose players, no question.
Raiders fire HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler.
Wish they would have waited three weeks. McDaniels sucks as a HC.
LMAO @ Raiders

Annie Agar’s Josh McDaniels homage
Raiders are a mess as usual. This should make it easier for us to beat them though and F McDaniels anyway. Terrible coach.
I agree with M13 and Tim. Glad Ogbah didn’t go anywhere. He is getting paid a lot as a sub but we needed his snaps when Phillips was down. We need him for our playoff run.
He will be gone next year. We need to resign AVG way more than we need to keep Ogbah and his big contract.
LT Terron Armstead (knee) will practice today after the team opened his 21-day window to come off of injured reserve, HC Mike McDaniel told reporters on Wednesday.
S Jevon Holland is out of the concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany, per McDaniel.
S Brandon Jones is in the concussion protocol and did not travel to Germany, per McDaniel.
Holland cleared concussion protocol.
Beer to BBM
We beat the Patriots without LT1 LG1 C1 RG1 RB2 CB1 and S1.
That’s straight up badass coaching and GMing.
^
Tua is not a free agent next year so he is not our top offseason priority to resign. We picked up his 5th year option at a cost of $23,171,000. I do see them resigning him on long term to a big contract that would clear a large chunk of his cap hit next year though.
