What Make Hulk Angry?

incredible-hulk

By Dr. Bruce Banner

Some wise minstrels once sang:

You say yes, I say no
You say stop and I say go go go, oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello

This is also what blog sound like. Someone say Tannehill sucks, someone say he is franchise QB. Someone say Its all on the coaches. Someone say it’s all on the players. Someone say it’s on the owner, then someone say no it is the front office that let owner down. You know what Hulk say? Hulk say enough! Enough with blaming Tannehill, enough with blaming the coaches versus the players, enough with blaming ownership or the front office. You all wrong and you all right at same time.

Hulk see so much wrong with this team. It not just Tannehill but he no help right now with dumb pick 6 but he also not root of all evil either. It not just coaches fault but they no help when the run the running backs a total of 10 times over the course of a game. Hulk don’t know if it players or coaches fault when you have linebacker lined up against Dez Bryant in red zone but whoever do that no help. Players also no help when they drop passes, miss tackles, fail to catch kickoff in endzone or fail to stop draw play on 3rd and 14. Front office no help when it puts out flawed team year after year. When it fail to address key areas of team such as offensive line, linebacker and entire secondary. Owner no help when he continue to try to sell flawed and imperfect team as contenders and failing to see how flawed the team is. By failing to take decisive action such as firing head coach and GM at same time or waiting to fire someone until it is too late and we see another wasted season.

All those things no longer make Hulk angry but you know what make Hulk angry? That we all here on this blog will spend countless hours in vehement argument with one another over these topics. Tempers will flare, words will be exchanged, names will be called, feelings will be hurt, people will self impose bans on themselves and or just stop blogging here. We all Dolphin fans, we all want to see Dolphins win, we all frustrated with Dolphin season again and we all take it out on one another and this makes Hulk angry. Hulk angry because this God forsaken team, franchise and collections of players do not deserve our vitriol, or debates or heated exchanges. Not one argument here is deserving of this team. Not one blogger should exchange heated words over this team. This team has sucked the life and civility out of us. We are only left with finger pointing and team is no longer worth pointing a finger at anyone other than the entire franchise. Is Tannehill our franchise QB? Who cares? We find out what our next coach think about him and then maybe we care. Are the coordinators going to be back next season? Hell no so who cares about their stupid play calling. Is owner going to sell team? No so why argue about it? Now Hulk say we all get along and if not Hulk smash!

When you are not allowed to even say Tannehill without someone getting their panties in a wad, you’ve past constructive criticism and crossed over to sycophant.

  10. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Good article Hulk! Whole team sucks! Top to bottom. I am interested in the conversations about our defense having the tools for a 3-4. I also would love to hear everyone’s opinion on who the next coach should be(mines Hue). Truth be told, we are going to lose to the Pats and I don’t see us getting in at 9-7 much less getting to that lofty goal.

  11. Ken's avatar Ken says:

Our DL is probably strength of team and the LBs are probably the weakness. So why would we switch to a system that focuses more on the LBs?

    • New Age's avatar New Age says:

While true, Suh could easily be a DE in a 3-4 and Mitchell was once a NT and hasn’t really been a good DT this year. The 4-3 is supposedly a better run defense but I sure haven’t seen that. The last really good defense we had was a 3-4 with Nolan. Just food for thought.

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I think you don’t want to mess with Suh
He has always been a 4-3 in his career and I think switching it around will hurt his effectivenss

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

We don’t have 3 good LBs none the less 4. I just don’t see us as a 3-4 but I am not going to argue about it.😅

Agree Hulk. Fins right now are not worth losing sleep over or turning on each other for, but our “road to relevance” just got a lot longer. SIGH.
Looks like that road could pass through Wembley again though?

“Dolphins to play in London in 2016 again? Strong rumours it will be Miami @ Cincinnati at Wembley”

Sorry guys – I know you aren’t fond of this fixture. Hopefully it’s not a home game again this year. It’s a 400m round road trip for me plus all the expense but I’ll prolly still go. Bengals were/are my second fave team – Boomer was “Dan-lite” for me back in the day. Announcement expected 2:30pm UK time tomorrow.

PS Are you allowed “2nd teams” (teams you would follow if the Fins didn’t exist)? Might be a useful distraction to take the collective attention away from the fact a lot of us wish they didn’t exist at the end of most games this season.

I also like the Packers. I think because they always seemed to play exciting games and have had a history of good QBs and WRs. Some of this comes from FF.

I go to the office, drop off the form, and then as I’m going back down the stairs, the exit doesn’t look familiar, and when I look outside, no car. I go to a different exit, not there either. My alarm went off before I got to find my car, and I’m still pissed off!

  57. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

After watching the Bills-Pats game last night I can see why the Bills smashed the Fins twice this season.
Rex had a good plan and the players on defense for the most part executed as good as you can against the Pats.
Bills unfortunately didn’t come up with enough big plays through 3Q. McCoy couldn’t cradle a TD in his hands that a defender broke up; McKelvin killed them with his fumble; Sammy Watkins was silent until the 4Q (should have been able to draw PI on at least one big post route he over ran with a defender riding him).
I kept laughing with my brother though watching the Bills offense operate because while Tyrod Taylor was in shotgun alot (something we see often with RT), Roman had 2 backs flanking him at all times while the puts we got leaves RT often with just 1.

The Jills defense is very disciplined, run good stunts and disguised blitzes.

Ken that’s almost scary, about 30 minutes ago we were havig this same discussion in my office. I think its common among college graduates, i had these kind of dreams with frequency after i graduated. I haven’t had one in a while. Sometimes it was missing credits thing, sometimes it was a feeling like im still taking classes and i missed a big test. Overall, almost everyone in my department agreed that they have and sometimes continue to have these dreams.

Most times it’s I forgot to do a project, or didn’t realize there was a test, and was unprepared. lately I’ve been having dreams where I can’t find what I’m looking for. A couple of weeks ago I was back in my old neighborhood (in my dream), and I was walking home at night, and I was trying to cut through this street as a shortcut, but I got lost, and it was really bugging me when I woke up. I even asked my sister if the street cuts through or not, I was doubting myself.

I’m looking forward to the next few weeks with some optimism despite the issues the Fins have had in recent weeks 🙂
The Dolphins have been painful to watch but the Jets are not in the same class as the Bills or Patriots. Hell they almost choked the game away in London vs the Dolphins.
After that, you have the featherless Ravens who lost Forsett & Flacco in the same game.
And after that you have the Giants who have the NFL’s worst pass defense (worse than the Saints LOL).
Then you have the SD who is currently slated to have the 1st overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft followed by a Colts team that is Luck-less.
And finally we have NE who may or may not have their starters going all game as they will have clinched all home field advantages by then. If not, then it’s because they are going for an undefeated season which will really fire up the Fins to give them their first loss.

  72. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Campbell also spoke about something we have mentioned here over the last few weeks. The inability of the team to run more balanced on offense. Once again the Dolphins abandoned the running game early even though Lamar Miller and Jay Ajayi were running well. While he didn’t apparently call anyone out by name, it’s obvious that he is getting fed up with Jason “Penalty” Fox.

“Lamar had a pretty good average, Jay had it going. I would always tilt toward wanting to run it more than we do…. We kind of did what we had to do.” Campbell said via the Herald article. He also mentioned that one drive was hurt by a Jason Fox penalty putting the team in 3rd and 9.

“When you want to run it more, you get crap like that,” Campbell said without saying anyone’s name specifically.

Campbell also has to be peeved at Bill Lazor’s play calling too.

Words can be so hurtful sometimes.

But what about emojis? Those cute little symbols we send out to express every possible emotion or word we don’t feel like typing couldn’t possibly offend anybody, right?

They can if you’re a fan of a certain undefeated NFL team feeling picked on by a certain TV network.

Late during ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast of the New England Patriots’ 20-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills, the network’s “SportCenter” Twitter account sent out this tweet:

It should be noted that the tweet went out right around the time the officials were reviewing video to determine whether or not Buffalo’s Sammy Watkins made a fourth-down catch to extend the Bills’ final drive. So it could have been an attempt to convey the message that the play was under review.

Or it could have been a commentary on the fact that it was the second time in that drive that video review was being used.

Maybe. But many Patriots fans didn’t take it that way. Any mention of video cameras, even via emoji, will forever be taken as a Spygate slam by those folks — especially if it comes from ESPN, whose “Outside the Lines” broadcast a scathing report back in September about the extent the Patriots have allegedly gone to in order to obtain an unfair advantage.

    Here’s all the tweets:

Hewitt was later beat by Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant for a touchdown, but that was a coaching error and a bad matchup for the linebacker.”

‘Ken that’s almost scary, about 30 minutes ago we were havig this same discussion in my office. I think its common among college graduates, i had these kind of dreams with frequency after i graduated. I haven’t had one in a while. Sometimes it was missing credits thing, sometimes it was a feeling like im still taking classes and i missed a big test. Overall, almost everyone in my department agreed that they have and sometimes continue to have these dreams.’

    D,

YEP add me to that list too. pretty much the exact same thing here with me

What great words from Hulk. But he fell out of character. Not so much “Hulk angry” stuff.

Thinking it was ghost written by Bruce Banner……or maybe the wise words even came from Ken. 🙂

Sounds like Johnny Party should hang with Dion F**k Face, maybe he is.

Browns coach Mike Pettine said a video allegedly showing Johnny Manziel partying over the team’s bye week was “disappointing” and hinted he is considering benching the sophomore quarterback.
“When it’s a repeated pattern of behavior, it’s a concern,” Pettine added. Manziel was just named the Browns’ starter after his best performance as a pro against the Steelers before the bye, but it is clear Pettine is fed up with the repeated off-field issues. Pettine confirmed Josh McCown has been medically cleared and is ready to start if needed.

That dream thing must be a guy thing. I’ve never had one like that, but I’ve heard others say the same type thing, all males.

My dreams usually involve 3 things:
I’m travelling on a train, plane, highway, and having a hard time getting to where I am going- like it’s taking forever
      I’m back in the Army
I am surrounded by multiple toilets in various states of cleanliness (this dream I have interpreted to mean I need to get up and go pee).

    —————————————-
Campbell needs a mirror then because the man he needs to be pissed at is him, if indeed he is letting Lazor continue to make him look like dumbass. Everyone here agreed that Philbin was in control of his team, he had the ability to take the defense under his control if he didnt think it was being run right, he had the ability to take the offense under his control if he didnt think it was being run right. Guess what HC Campbell, its on you if you dont take control of the situation and get it taken care of. Campbell cant continue to blame Lazor and do nothing.

Hopefully the ‘air it out’ session that Campbell had yesterday got to the root of Lazor’s issues too. I’m sure it did, as it was players, coaches, everybody.

When im really sick i have puzzle dreams, Greek hell kinda puzzle dreams. Im always force to figure out a puzzle that is impossible or has so many factors i feel tortured by it. I usually also never am fully asleep in those dreams, like in a twilight sleep mode.
