Ohio State is loaded with prospects in 2016
Joey Bosa, Eli Apple, Ezekial Elliot, Taylor Decker, Braxton Miller, Von Bell, Joshua Perry, Michael Thomas, Adolphus Washington!
So many prospects I feel like Moe the Cranium Crusher put my head in a vice again.

Who is Moe? He is the little squirt who takes my head to a vice when I don’t file a planet destroyer file on time.
I hate him…or her…or it…whatever that little blob is…I would squash him if I could.
but I can never find him away from the deadly vice.
And I’m not getting near that vice.
Kind of like my favorite Buckeye Darron Lee

I’m not getting near Darron Lee…guess why…
BECAUSE HE WILL SMASH YOUR CRANIUM!!!
This aggressive linebacker will come out you with force!
On a team full of talent, he might be the most talented Buckeye (sorry Joey Bosa, just one Alien’s opinion)

Lee decided to come out as a sophomore, so maybe he hasn’t received as much attention as the other Buckeyes.
But he should have!
And after his combine performance, you bet he is getting the attention he deserves. Lee ran an impressive 4.47 in the 40 yard dash. Zoooooooooooooooooom!
If you don’t give him attention now, he might squash your human head…
Like many Linebackers this year he might be considered undersized by some. He is 6’2, 235 pounds. Not huge by NFL standards.

But don’t tell Lee you think he is undersized if you value your head not being squashed.
He’s explosive and he hits with power! BOOM! Your head is sauce now!
Lee is a good pass rusher who managed to compile 6.5 sacks as a freshman and 4.5 as a sophomore. He also tallied 3 interceptions in his career.

It might be a historic draft for Ohio State. Maybe they break the record for 1st round picks in the draft. Or maybe they break the record for most players drafted in one season.
Darron Lee doesn’t care about that though.
Darron Lee takes your history and he bashes you with it. Darron Lee just wants to bash you. So don’t give him anything to do it with for your own good.

Lee is all over the field: making impact plays behind the line of scrimmage, dropping into coverage, going from one side off the field to the other. Its helps to have sub 4.50 speed!
You can make an argument that Lee is the truest linebacker in the NFL draft.
And if you don’t make that argument, Lee will smash you.
If Lee was an Alien Weapon of Destruction, he would be the Galactic Cranium Smasher Vice (sans Mo, so I can finally kill him)

You can watch his highlights here:

That seems about right. It is Friday night.
ah for fucks sake. I could have gone all day without seeing someone puking. Now it will be up there for the rest of the day. I think I will google Gal Gadot again and just stay on the images tab.
Much better indeed.
LOL, it’s from the movie stand by me.
Yeah! My future wife. My current wife does not yet know that.
She better not find out because she will be the future owner of all your stuff!

For some reason im am almost mezmerized by this woman…. Its Lily the AT&T lady from the commercial (Milana Vayntrub) and on top of some crazy levels of cute, i have heard some podcasts/youtube videos she has done and she seems to have a awesome sense of humor, like the kind guys only seem to have. Ill admit i stare at the commercials when they come on.
WOW, what a set of mountains!
I saw a movie on Netfilx recently that she was in, but didn’t…
Broncos can win Super Bowl with Mark Sanchez at QB
Who’s the genius that writes this shit? They won with Gimpy last yr, so anything is possible with that D, even though they may be a little depleted.

Glad the Phins are making a big effort to retool the defense in Miami.
My post was about the writer, I’d fire him on the spot 😉
LOL, yeah…stupid to act like Sanchez will be the reason they might win another SB. He’s not gonna read defenses the way Peyton did.
#5 on the list of most worthless players on every team, was Dallas Thomas, he graded out at the worst guard in the league by PFF.
Tim, that Gif you posted is a real spinner.
LOL
So this is who we have on the OL as of now. Can we find at least one guy who surprises and wins a job? Urbik and Bushrod are vets who should push for a spot but can someone else step up?
C Pouncey,
G Urbik(C), Thomas, Turner, Douglas(C), McClendon(C), Steen, Painter
T Albert, James, Bushrod(G), Young, John
Thomas needs to be behind Painter.
I read somewhere that the Dolphins are putting Thomas, Turner & Douglas through an intensive strength training program this offseason to “transform” them. I hope that at least one of our 3rd round picks can become a good starter and on of the other two a good backup.
I read that about Thomas and Turner, not Douglas. Douglas is really strong, he lifts some crazy amounts of weight with different lifts. He’s known for it. His issue is technique at the next level. That’s what he needs to work on. My guess is Thomas and Turner lack functional upper or lower body strength and they want to level that out.
And all 3 need mental toughness. Turner is done, he’s had more than enough chances.
Steve, Turner has played one season. He missed all of his rookie year with turf toe. He actually played well in the run game but struggled in pass pro last year.
From what I read about Douglas predraft
He’s was really strong at Arizona state
He was and is. He needs to polish his technique.

Free agent DE/OLB O’Brien Schofield hasn’t totally ruled out re-signing with the Falcons but acknowledges the team has probably moved on after signing Courtney Upshaw.
Schofield does have an offer on the table from Atlanta but it doesn’t make sense for the Falcons to sign both players. He’s drawn interest from a few other teams including the Bears, Cowboys, Dolphins, Titans and Seahawks. Schofield has battled knee arthritis throughout his career but has not missed a game over his last two seasons.
This mock did not turn out at all like I expected when I walked into the draft room.

Defensive lineman Bronson Kaufusi stood on most of his Combine numbers but participated in position drills, and as communicated to me, looked like a stud.
Kafusi looked athletic, smooth and forceful in everything he did. Many say it looks like his upper body has filled in and Kafusi is coming into his own. Known as a class act and high-character person, the senior solidified himself as a second-day pick.

He could go 2-3 rounds and I would be happy if we landed him.
Offensive lineman Ryker Mathews measured 6055, 316 pounds, completed 23 reps on the bench and timed 5.05 in the 40. He touched 28.5 inches in the vertical jump and timed 4.64 in the short shuttle.

What are the chances Stinky starts in Denver? If he does what will the opposing CBs be saying?
Let me get a McPick6.
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 13: Myles Jack, OLB/ILB, UCLA (A+)
Round 2 Pick 11: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State (A)
Round 3 Pick 10: Sebastian Tretola, OG, Arkansas (B+)
Round 4 Pick 9: C.J. Prosise, RB, Notre Dame (B+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Eric Murray, CB, Minnesota (A+)
Round 6 Pick 11: Tyvis Powell, FS, Ohio State (B+)
Round 7 Pick 6: Tanner McEvoy, TE/WR, Wisconsin (B-)
Round 7 Pick 10: Nick Richter, OT, Richmond (C+)
All I have to see is Myles Jack and I’m very happy with this draft
I like Ogbah as a 2nd rd pick to develop at DE. He has upside talent but needs work on his technique. We don’t have to rely on him this year, he can pay STs and get some snaps at DE in a rotation.

Awesome concert
Playing the wide 9 technique as one of our staples – D. Moore, McCain and even Dion FF could flourish. The weak side end basically attacks the backfield every play, it’s easy. No thinking except if you see it’s a run react. LOL

I guess Tanny thinks he’s going have to have a great season
Happy Birthday Try!
The past several years the Miami Dolphins usually were the team that made huge additions in free agency. Big-ticket items such as defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (2015), Pro Bowl left tackle Branden Albert (2014) and former No. 1 receiver Mike Wallace (2013) highlighted the past three free-agent classes that fueled optimism entering the regular season.
However, that approach failed each year as Miami fell short of a winning season.
——————————————-
Individually these players were a success mostly, with the except maybe being Wallace, even though his non-success may be an off the field thing (attitude). The line he can take your-ins and beat his-ins, worked in reverse for fool Joe. He couldn’t take his-ins and beat your-ins, but he did take his-ins and turn them into urine 😉
You can’t just say, because the team didn’t have a winning record therefore everything they did failed. It seems pretty obvious to me, why the team failed and it starts at the top (coach and coordinators didn’t know what they were doing).
Everything I’m hearing from Gase has been, this guy fits into what we’re trying to do, or we’ll put players in position to play towards their strengths.
Our genius ESPN beat writer also goes on to say for the 4,000th time, it’s debatable whether Miami’s current roster is much better than the 6-10 roster that ended last season.
Do we really need a better roster, or is a coaching change to someone that actually has a clue enough to make the roster better?
Either way we needed a roster makeover, because the overall depth and a few position groups were thin.
More on the same point, talking about Maxwell:
“He does a great job when he gets his hands on people,” said Chip Kelly, who was hired by the San Francisco 49ers after being let go by the Eagles after last season. “It’s kind of what the prototypical corner in this league is like. He matches up well with big receivers. He’s really good in taking them away at the line of scrimmage. When he wins at the line of scrimmage, he’s really successful. Vance (Joseph) is really experienced at doing those things and I think he’ll do a really good job with him.”
Yet Chip in Philbinesque fashion brought him in to play off the receiver.
Now couple that with a coach, who obviously has a clue:
“I feel like Byron is going to fit well into what we’re going to do on defense,” Head Coach Adam Gase said. “He’ll be able to do more of what he’s done in the past where he had success. I’ve competed against him a couple of times when he was in Seattle and he challenged us. And we had some pretty good receivers. I feel really good about him coming in. I’m excited … I could feel his excitement getting down here.
What a concept, lets let him do what he’s had success at doing. I think Chip thought he could do it his way and everything would work out.
As one coach said this is football it isn’t rocket science.
Steve
I’m so impressed with the front office’s constraint this FA. I think they did a great job. I hope this is the NEW way they conduct business, because it’s the winning path. It may not pay immediate dividends this season, but if they continue to be judicious in FA, and not overspend, the compensatory picks will continue to come, and the cap will be more manageable. The most important thing in addition to doing what I mentioned, is drafting well. Do that for a few years, and keep the FA spending in check, and we will be a winning organization.
Now they must drafter will too
Will Fuller?
Is that Pig Latin 😉
I agree.
What this does is allow you to get the bargain FAs, that provide depth that’s needed in today’s injury prone NFL. When you overspend on a few positions it ends up costing dearly at others, as we witnessed last yr with several Pro Bowler type players, but also many holes.
So instead of getting garbage players at the vet min. you get vets for $2M-$3M that are actually worth something.
more overrated players — Baby Gronk, anybody from Ohio State, anybody from Missouri, anybody from Alabama, anybody from So Cal …
If you have a chance to watch the coaches film of the games from last season go and do so and let’s see what you think of Tannehill as a qb after that.
Where are they available?
NFL.com
Where do we get that film?
Let me just say, the idea that he didn’t have time to throw the ball is a complete and total myth. When you see how many wr’s he had open and was still standing there with the ball in his hand you’re going to be pissed.
The idea that the play calling was also to blame isn’t quite accurate either because on plays where we’re running with four wide, which is quite often, it’s up to him to make the read and go thru his progressions. The wr’s run their routes and, let me say, do it pretty damn good and he doesn’t see them, get’s the ball out AFTER breaks, still throwing off target, etc.
That must be what they meant when they said Gase needs to fix him.
Seen your Twitter exchanges this morning 😂. Just do a breakdown w/ GIFs etc. to show your argument like Ian Wharton & some of the others do and post it on your blog and link up. That way you don’t have to get yourself into a disputed like you did on Twitter today. It’ll help avoid a few headaches…not all👍
Lou
Is it free, or fee?
you need to subscribe to the game rewind.
Thanks. How much is it?
I just looked at he remnants of the NFL.com Top 100 FAs list and there is not a single player left on there that is worth signing with the slightly possible exception of OG Jahri Evans and only if he’s on the ultra-cheap
The e-rag known as the Sun Sentinel should be sued for giving out the exact address of Tannehill’s home. That is an invasion of privacy and a case of reckless endangerment. What purpose did it serve to do that? Only sickos would find the exact address valuable. The QB and his wife obviously attempted to keep the location secret by buying with a trust without the Tannehill name on it, but our blood-sucking “news” media ratted them out like the wannbees and peeping Toms that they are. They even pinpointed the neighborhood so whack-jobs could more easily do a drive-by scan for Lauren.
Would you expect anything less from the company that hired Omar the Great?
I know , right?
I don’t know about you guys, but I think the RB class this year is excellent. Elliott, Prosise, Drake, and Marshall are all 4.4 sprinters with good size as well. Plus I really like the SFL kid who went to Arkansas Alex Collins. He can run in the steam heat and he’s tough as nails and he’s got juice. 20 TDs in a seasson? wow 1000 yds rushing all 3 yrs in the SEC? wow all the while sharing carries with another NFL quality RB!
I think we should draft 2 of them: either Collins or Prosise for pounding the rock alternating series with Ajayi and either Drake or Marshall for speed, screens, and KRs.
I’m ok with getting 2 RBs, and kicking Williams to the curb, but the 2nd one must come after the 4th rd.
Or we trade a Misi and Damontre type package for KC’s Ware or Houston’s Blue. And then still draft Drake or Marshal as above. Even throw in Stills as both those teams need another WR and then we draft someone like Peake or another midround speed wideout.
Trading for an RB isn’t a good idea IMO, and no one wants hacks like Misi and Damontre.
probably true, but the word is they are looking to trade for a 3rd string RB, so who would that be and whom would we offer? Stills has value right? Mitchell? Both are replaceable in the draft. Sims?
I personally do not want to trade nor do I think we can, as you say, but ….
… would you trade our 5th , 6th , and a 7th for Spencer Ware?
I’ve never seen him play, so no. Last yr with one of our 5ths we got Lippett, would you rather have him or Ware?
I like Lippett, but we already have him, so we can trade away the 5th for a guy we know can run in the NFL. Or just hope we can draft a RB in the 5th and hope he can run in the NFL.
That’s a lot of compensation for a 3rd string RB. Because we have Williams as one of our backs we really need to have another one that can actually run the ball, as Williams his horrible running it. For some stupid reason early in the season last yr he ran it on 4th and one and was stopped. He has no fight in his running.
I think they’re just trying to get a vet RB for nothing, like a 7th. Just doing their due diligence.
I wanted to keep Gillislee instead of Damien and even thought Darkwa was a tougher runner as well.

I’d prefer not to trade our picks away. We can solve our RB issue with one draft pick in this years draft. No need to give up 3.
6th and 7th rnd picks are nearly worthless.
Lol @ drafter will
I meant now they must draft well too
Totally agree. You can’t be successful if you don’t, and that’s been our problem for a while. That, and bad coaching makes for a real bad combo, and a constant turnover and philosophy change and a real mess.
Draft is full of good RBs and if we can’t find another solid one outside of trading and the draft…then we just won’t be good enough for this regime to compete. We low balled Anderson if we didn’t have other options ready.
I like what we are doing but it does put a larger emphasis on drafting well. All the guys we spent big money on, were good players. Even Wallace, who has issues, was a 10 TD WR. We just had nothing behind the starters and made some really poor decisions. This new thinking is better just because we hopefully have something behind Wake, Albert, Misi, etc when they get injured.

Ha, see my post above. 🙂
Yep. RB doesn’t win you games. OL, DL do. Much more interested in how well our OL, DL look this year even though I’m a huge Elliot fan. Only RB I’d touch in first 2 rounds.(where we draft at least). 🙂
I think the Maxwell and Alonso trade for just a slight downslide in the first is a real steal. I am very happy about that.
Wow just wow, some of you have gone off the rails talking about trading some promising youngsters for a RB that will be cut. I guarantee you some of these BU will be cut. Grab one then and keep the player and the pick. Lotsa good RBs in this draft as has been discussed before. Lippett will be in the mix to start opposite Maxwell and some want him traded out. SMH.
You are afflicted by walteritis.
I agree. RB is the least of our worries.
WYO (Lee) I took out a young lady called Lee when I was a callous teen and it was funny when someone called out Lee. Both of us would answer “yes”. Some of the looks were priceless.

I saw your sexual positional chart earlier but you need to mix it up. Hydraulic release sex Imagination does wonders.
Naples we won that trade easy.
JS…how have you been keeping ok I hope?
very good mate, how about yourself
RB not a worry? Who do we have? a gimpy 5th rndr with a half season of NFL experience and a slow, UDFA semi-bum. Playoffs? Playoffs!!?!?!
only if we get another quality runner before training camp. Opening the season with Ajayi as the feature back and Damien as your support is a recipe for disaster. No matter whether you say pick up discarded trash or draft well or trade for one, we MUST get another RB. Just last yr many said they were worried about Ajayi staying healthy and look, sure enough, he got hurt and missed part of his rookie season.
Coming good been playing lotsa golf and walking on the treadmill a lot. Losing some weight is always good. Bloody meds get up my nose though. I hate popping pills. LOL
its better than the alternative. I have some very large pills that I use a pill grinder and then I mix them in my food. Where about are you down under?
Some ppl badmouth our QB who threw for 4000 yds two yrs in a row with stubborn plodder Philbin for a HC and you want to wish for a dream come true at RB? Look how well that worked out in Indy or San Diego. They had great QBs and their record sucked.
If we can’t find a RB in this draft or outside of it, then we have the wrong people in charge. Plenty of good RBs in this draft. Plenty of solid guys available. One of the most obvious truths in football is the OL makes the RB. Dallas is the best example of this.
I think it’s synergistic… a good line helps the back and a good back helps the line and it takes both to win games.
Dallas did not win many games last yr with the same line and a different RB. I know they had injuries at QB, but he was not helped by his running game like the previous yr.
Look at the rushing attacks of the 2 super Bowl teams. That and defense sure helped Manning and when the running game failed, Newton failed.
To a point but I think the main synergy is between the QB and the run game. The Dallas OL would do well with McFadden, Ajayi, Miller, whoever. The RB NEEDS the OL to produce.
New Age I do think there are plenty of good RBs in this draft, and I want us to draft 2.
That was my first post of the day.
As long as one in in the 6th, or 7th and is an extra pick. I don’t want two of our top 6 to be a RB. Not in any situation ever even if we won the SB. RBs are just not worth that much in this league.
How about we put the 2015 season behind us and just look forward. The team isn’t going to be exactly the same anyway. The defense could be 3/4s different. The offense will have some tweaks but mostly the same moving forward with mostly good young skill players.
As for what Tannehill didn’t do last year, the guy’s numbers were still very good. You would think he only completed 55% of his passes, barely threw for 3,000 yards and threw 22 INTs to just 15 TDs the way he gets talked about. Let’s put things in the proper perspective.
Also, Hickey did a pretty good job in the draft the last 2 years. 12 of his picks are still on the team and a few of them are going to be our core guys for awhile.
i did not agree with firing Hickey.
Me too but I understood why they parted ways. There was a division in philosophies right or wrong.
One possible draft:
1 -CB Hargreaves or Jackson
2 –OG Garnett or Alexander
3 –RB Collins or Prosise
4 –RB Drake or Marshall
5 –S Davis or WR Peake
6 –ILB McKinzy or Martinez or DE Shittu
7 –OT Lewis
7 –WR Payton UCLA
another possible draft:
1 -DT Nkemdiche or MLB Ragland
2 -CB Burns or DE Ogbah or Bullard
3 – 7 -as above except get a CB such as Worley or Robinson and / or a S such as Darian Thompson whenever they are best picked
oops I forgot OG Drango or OG Dahl in that second draft
Naples, when I look at our options at #13 I could name 15 prospects we could go with. Even at #8 we were all racking our brains. There are only 3 or 4 what you would call top prospects in this draft and I’m not sure any of them will be as great as they’re being projected. Ramsey, Tunsil, Jack and Bosa are pretty much considered the elite of this class. To me Ramsey is the one who stands out as a special talent. The others might just be good. The QBs are solid but not considered elite so let’s hope they go before us to deepen our options. 🙂
agreed 100%
We only have one quality RB on the roster and he has a half season of experience with an injury the other half and injuries in his past!!!!
That is very scary!!!
You can devalue the RB position if you want, but you can’t have NONE!! (if Ajayi gets hurt)
Do you honestly think we will only have Ajayi on the roster when we go into camp? With Gase saying he wants a stable? I don’t understand the comment really. You can get RBs from so many different places. Why limit options? There is no need for 2 RBs early in this draft. Absolutely zero reason to draft more than one before pick #200.
I’m not worried about RB. We can address that in many ways including the draft. We only have 3 RBs currently on our roster in Ajayi, Williams and Edwards. By the time TC starts we’ll likely have 6 backs competing.
from where do we get those other 3? That is all I am asking.
Tim
Since you posted that alice in chains clip I’ve been listening to that album
This is one of my favorite songs on the album
It’s still my favorite AIC album. The first song I was turned onto was Sunshine. I heard it on Seton Hall’s Pirate Radio when it came out. That station turned me onto the whole Seattle music scene and other metal music back in the 90s.
I like Dirt a lot
But when I go back and listen to Facelift
It’s pretty awesome
I really like all thing alice in chains
One of my favorite bands ever
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOGAkmRek84
Good stuff. Nirvana got me started on Seattle’s scene. Great time for music. Miss those days and being young helped lol.
Ahhh the early 90s
I saw all those bands live
Nirvana
AIC
Pearl Jam
Soundagrden
Alice in Chains was probably the best live show I saw during that period
New Age you keep saying
“Do you honestly think we will only have Ajayi on the roster when we go into camp? With Gase saying he wants a stable? I don’t understand the comment really. You can get RBs from so many different places.”
Bro that is EXACTLY what I am saying and I am running through those “different places” to see what is really there behind the easy words. We need to get ours before they are all gone.
What are these “so many places”? FA? It’s over. June Cuts? other teams’ trash. Trades? you don’t want to give up anything or you think we have nothing to give. Last minute cuts? Why would we want guys who can’t even make their own team’s 53?
That leaves the draft. In the 6th round the best you can get according to CBS which is a very good site is the 16th best RB. Is that all you want to run along the frequently injured half-rookie Ajayi?
Piggy and New Age, agreed on Facelift and the Seattle scene at the time. My two favorite bands of that era were AIC and Soundgarden – Badmotorfinger. Pearl Jam’s Ten album is still their best, IMO.
Naples
Not sure how much different June cuts are from UFA’s. They’re the same players, just let go a little later if a younger player shows promise. In any case, we have players we can trade to acquire RB’s if they feel the urgency to do so, and if they don’t, my guess is we’re taking one in the draft, and likely before RD 4.
I never saw Nirvana or at least I don’t remember seeing them. LOL
I saw the others though.
Naples, RBs thru trade, FA, off the street, the draft and UDFA.
Wow, Piggy…I’m impressed & now look at you differently.
Lippett is our new Sean Smith, but with better hands.
He’s the dark horse at CB for us. If he can step up and earn a starting job or a lot of snaps we have good sized corners for our press scheme with him and Maxwell. We some good size at Safety too with Jones, AQ, Aikens, Gary and even Thomas has a physicality about him but I think he’s better suited as a dime guy and STs. He’s better than Don Jones was in that role. Gary is kind of a dark horse type too as he got more reps down the stretch last year when Aikens ended up in the doghouse for a bit.
Good assessment
I have a lot of faith in Jay Ajayi. He’s gonna be a big part of the offense. Need to find another back for a tandem. Williams is a good #3 mostly as a receiver but he plays a lot of STs too.
Draft
1. BPA DEF or OL
2. BPA DEF or OL
3. RB
4. BPA DEF or OL
Meaning after 4 rounds I want to see us land two defensive players an OL and a RB.
I think the 3rd round is a good spot to take a RB.
Alex Collins
Jordan Howard
Jonathan Williams
Kenyan Drake
Paul Perkins
C.J. Proise
Agree – That’s what I just told Naples
There are also some good backs in the 4-5 rounds.

I agree with Naples I think Lee and Jack are both overrated. That’s not saying they aren’t good but some talk about Jack like he is the second coming of Christ (or in for you Mike, the first coming), and Lee isn’t better, and in my opinion, not as good as Jones. They just aren’t as good as their hype
LMAO! Yikes…..
Jack is highly ranked because of athletic ability and he’s a good fit for today’s NFL but he’s not a very physical LB. The college game just isn’t very good defensively these days. Too many points are scored. You need to find the guys who really are good NFL fits. Not saying Jack isn’t, but this guy is not LT or a Luke Kuechly, but maybe he could be.
I think Ramsey is the best prospect in the draft. He can play both CB and S and will be a 3 down top defensive player for some team.
Watch us trade up for him. LOL
I like Ramsey at FS still but in our system he would be a pretty good CB.
Both are amazing athletes. I think Jack is better at diagnosing running lanes and gets there quicker. I’m still in preference if LBs who can get off blocks better than Lee. I think Jack is better doing that than Lee. As you said though there are some really excellent athletes playing LB available after round 1.
Naples,
We lost one good RB in Miller and now the world is ending? I just don’t understand. We draft Miller’s replacement, we find a guy in the 7th or in FA, and we add a couple extra bodies. We keep at most 3 RBs on our team. Ajayi, our drafted guy, and the 3rd best option. This isn’t stuff to get worked over. It really isn’t
This is why Parker reminds me of Michael Irvin.

The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson “would think” DE Dion Jordan “would stick” on the roster if he is reinstated.
Jordan was suspended for all of 2015. The Dolphins are reportedly “open” to giving Jordan a chance if he is reinstated, but they have a logjam at end after signing Mario Williams and Andre Branch in free agency. Jordan likely would need to beat out one of Chris McCain, Terrence Fede or Damontre Moore to earn a roster spot. The No. 3 overall pick in 2013, Jordan has not shown much even when on the field. He is shaping up as a massive bust.
If he can’t beat those 3, then good luck getting on anywhere else. This is his career in a nutshell. Sink or swim.
Snort or abstain 😉
Tim,
Black Hole Sun is still one of my favorite songs. Loved all those bands and it was just a good time for music. Just like the late 60s and early 70s, I think it was a golden age for certain music. I just don’t see anything comparable today.
Agreed!
Soundgarden:
Fell on Black Days
Mailman
The Day I Tried to Live
Blow Up the Outside World…
Audioslave
Listening to those on youtube as you listed lol. Got it burnt on computer for posterity lol!
Got all those songs(and all the bands listed so far) saved for posterity on my comp lol. One good thing from technology.
Got all those songs(and bands) saved on hard drive. Thank you technology!
GD, you didn’t know Piggy’s musical tastes if that is what you were referring to?
Yeah, I pigged him as something different when it came to music. Menudo….lol, kidding.
LOL, Piggy and I have along with others have discussed music many times before. I think his favorite band is Nirvana.
Nirvana was a great band.
Did you ever watch ‘Soaked in Bleach’ on Netflix? I hate that hole Courtney!
I’m still smarting over the loss of Millertime! Maybe Ajayi can put that grief to rest. But I wouldn’t draft a RB in the 3rd round. If we don’t go big @ RB in the 1st, then I’d wait till at least the 4th-5th like we did with Jtrain.
I added that a possibility as well but J-Train was a 2nd rd talent who dropped because of his knee issues. OL and RB is all we really need on offense. I have no problem trying to land one of the better talents in this draft even in the 2nd rd.
After 4 rounds I’d like to see we added 2 defense, 1 OL and 1 RB.
I’d be ok if they thought someone was special & they put the emphasis on the OL to make him great.
D,
In all honesty your boy Morrison has a chance, despite his size, to be an excellent SOLB in the NFL. Not many LB’s attack OL with as much ferocity or disengage from them as well as him.
GD, I wasn’t a huge Audioslave fan mostly because Tom Morello plays a lot of the same stuff recycled. It sounds like RATM with Cornell singing. Some good stuff just not may favorite Cornell stuff. Like this!
Say hello to heaven was a great tribute song to a close friend he lost, a fellow musician.
Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone. Another really cool band.
It will be interesting how the 1st rounds turns out. Similar to Tim, I think we can go lots of ways at #13 and even more than we had at #8(value-wise). I hope the elite of this draft will be gone by #7 so I don’t have any regrets. I believe they will just based off how little is there. Who will be available at #13 and where do we have the talent listed?
I agree. draft Defense and oline the first couple of rounds. But if Elliot falls to us to 13 what do you do?
Run to the podium and pick that boy up! Absolute stud RB. One of my favorite players in the draft. He has everything Richardson and Lacy don’t. Fire and desire. Maybe not as talented as AP and TG but he’s exceptional. and very close. No need to find another RB for a while.
I agree. If elliot is there you have to take him. Even though I think CB and oline are bigger needs.
Take him or trade down a few slots 😉
Back in a while guys. Time to enjoy this awesome weather.
I would understand the Elliot pick if he fell to us. He would likely be a BPA scenario.
If Andrew Wood didn’t OD and die Pearl Jam wouldn’t exist. Mother Love Bone was Jeff Ament’s and Stone Gossard’s band.
Here’s another great song.
I would take this draft right now.
1. OL Jack Conklin (starting guard and depth at tackle)
2. DE/DT Jonathan Bullard (great fit in our new wide 9 scheme)
3. CB Xavien Howard (great fit in our new press scheme)
4. RB Kenyan Drake (explosive player and versatile)
We could then double up at LB both outside and inside with our next four picks – 5, 6, 7a. and 7b, UDFAs as well. I know not everyone would be happy with that but if you feel Alonso, Jenkins, Misi and Hewitt are a good 4 it’s not difficult to go that way. Not to leave Vigil out, he could really surprise this year if he gets a little bigger and stronger. Same for Hewitt. To me Hull is a wildcard but could earn some reps at WOLB if he can make the game day roster on STs. I heard the NFL is discussing to extend the game day roster to 48 or something. That would help a guy like Hull.
I don’t mean 4 LBs, one of each in the last 4 picks. I’d go another DB and OL with the other two.
