It certainly looks like this team has lost focus and discipline. I think that falls on the coaches too, but where is the leadership on this team in the locker room? My God. Where’s the toughness? We’re still such a soft team.
Tannehill just doesn’t see the rush. He obviously is locked on to a receiver, or scanning up field, but he never sees when the rush is coming. That’s a big problem, especially with a makeshift O-line now, he should be expecting pressure. The defense is so bad, it’s laughable that I, or anyone else thought we were good. We are getting manhandled by Tennessee’s offense. They are just blowing holes through our front 4, and we’re not even touching guys until they’re 6-10 yards downfield. It’s depressing.

It looked like they were often spreading the field….leaving Kiko covering a 10 yard box in the middle and taking advantage of him singled up. The DL isn’t stuffing much, but they are taking advantage of our linebackers and brutalizing us on the edges too. Our LBers are just bad.

The use of the wide nine is doing exactly what I feared when I first heard of it this offseason. It leaves WIDE lanes in the middle when they just allow Suh to run to the QB while the ball is already 5 yards up the field behind him.

Any NFL QB should be able to throw a deep out or 9 route late in a half or game when you could possibly at least get a PI call. We needed to throw deep somewhere in that series given the time. Gase called the appropriate play. Tanny needs to execute.
I understand that Randy, but he can’t and a good coach will try to improve weakness during the week but adjust his calls during the game. He needs to roll Tanny out because he cannot make those plays in the pocket
