4 Miserable Points about the 2017 Dolphins

Like most of you Prawny just didn’t handle the last two weeks very well.

So we had to change this week’s format based on his…eh..absence

PrawnyPan

So let’s talk about 4 miserable points!

Point I:  Adam Gase is Not Immune to Dolfan Hate

miami-dolphins-adam-gase

In his first season as Dolphins head coach, Adam Gase brought the Dolphins from the dead all the way to their first playoff birth since ’08.

So everyone loves Gase right?  NOPE!  Gase, the offensive guru (cough cough) is under fire from the media and the fans.  Shutout by the Saints after almost being shut out by the Jests is no way to get in the good graces of this fan base.

The Dolphins offense is absolutely horrible this season.  The Dolphins have only scored 25 points this season.  The offense looks bland and predictable despite quite a number of playmakers on offense.

Don’t get me wrong.  It would be silly to call for his head this early in his career but it would be just as silly to give him a pass.

Last week after losing to the Jests, Gase felt the need to get more of his talent involved.  Julius Thomas and Kenyon Drake looked like the two beneficiaries of that change.  Drake had a big run….called back for holding and finished the game with one carry.  Thomas caught an important first down catch on 3rd down.  Then, in what looked like a forced attempt to get Thomas involved, the ball was intercepted in the endzone.  Thomas finished with two catches and has been pretty much useless in 2017.

Let’s hope Adam Gase has a better solution after the Saints loss.

Point 2.  The Dolphins have an Unavoidable Controversy at QB

4QBS

This is not your Dad’s QB controversy.  This isn’t Phil Simms vs Jeff Hostetller.  This is Dolfans and the media’s endless discussion about the position.  It is impossible to be a happy about the position for Dolfans.

Part of this controversy is not the fault of the Dolphins.  As soon as Ryan Tannehill went down for the season it was inevitable.  We all know there are Tannehill loyalists and Tannehill haters – and they don’t stop arguing.  So when Tannehill went down, whomever started in his place would be compared to Tannehill.  What would Tannehill do?  Is _____ better than Tannehill?  What happens in 2018 with Tannehill?

Enter Jay Cutler.  Like a fart you tried to hold in on a date – “The Dolphins sign Jay Cutler” is the last thing you wanted to hear.  But we all hoped for the best.  We all hoped we would have a problem at QB.  A simple QB controversy like the Giants had once upon a time.

NO – that doesn’t happen to the Dolphins.  Jay Cutler has arguably been the worst player on the field the last three Sundays.  Cutler looked like a QB who should stay retired against the Saints.  If we get lucky, a comet will hit the Earth and we won’t hear a thing about our QB controversy…but we are never that lucky.

Gase seems committed to Cutler for now.  But there are murmurs of “Play Matt Moore”.  And why shouldn’t there be?  Moore wasn’t great for us last year – but he did help us get into the postseason.  And Cutler has been so bad that well…

But the controversy doesn’t end with 3 QBs for the Dolphins.  Look at that 4th guy.  Think people aren’t calling for the Dolphins to sign him?  Imagine if we do.  Imagine if we don’t and the QB play stays this bad.  The Dolphins are in the direct line of fire for the Kaepernick backlash, one way or another.

Point 3:  Special Teams…When Foot Meets Suck

0918_spo_ldn-l-chargers-35-1

What is going on with the field goal attempts against the Dolphins.  The Dolphins have benefited from several missed field goals this season. For whatever reason – there have been a on of missed field goals in three games.

Here is why that drives me crazy:  The gods will rob us of a missed field goal when it really means something.  I’m superstitious.  If you are too, you know, all the missed field goals we will get in 2017 have been used.

Oh…and don’t get me started about the punting game.  Matt Haack hasn’t been great this season and he is on pace for 85 punts.  Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Point 4:  Hope is for Suckers

Dolphins trio

It’s really not that dire right now.  And how do I know this?  By focusing on some meaningless stats of course!

Jarvis Landry is on pace to catch more than 130 passes this year.  DeVante Parker is on pace for over 90 and over 1200 yards.  Kenny Stills is on pace for close to 50 catches and over 500 yards.  There aren’t a lot of NFL teams that get that much production out of their receivers, but we do…and we get a grand total of 25 points in 3 games out of it…WTF!

Add Jay Ajayi to that mix.   He is on pace for just under 1,000 yards – but I find it hard to believe, barring injury, he won’t have more than 1000 yards.  I don’t think there are a of NFL teams getting that much production from four players on offense.  Inexplicably, it means nothing in terms of scoring.  Do you have hope about the 2017 season now?

2017-AFC-East-Predictions-NFL-Football-Gambling-Odds-600x337

Think about this:  The Dolphins, Patriots and Jests all have 2 losses each.  The Bills are in first place at 3-1.  Do you think the Bills will finish over .500.  I don’t.  I expect the Bills and Jests to have some low points in 2017 when it’s said and done.  So naturally,  this gives me hope about the 2017 Dolphins.  And hope is for suckers when you are a Dolfan!

So bring on The Titans.  I’m so excited!

OD, you posted on the old blog when the new was available. A couple of things about that post.

NO TEAM in the NFL has 40+ “BIG TIME” players.
“only” 50 or so dead in the vegas shooting. still the worst shooting in American history and a terrible tragedy, but not “over 200 dead”

According to Pro Football Focus, all but two of Ajayi’s yards Sunday came after contact — and 148 of his 184 on the season have come after he’s been hit. That means he’s getting hit, on average, just two feet beyond the line of scrimmage when he carries the ball.

Sounds like a scheme problem to me.

Running out of shot gun “to the weak side” with trips WR on the other side is just Stupid. It’s not “creative or unpredictable”

  12. Prayers and well wishes to the Families in Vegas in that brutal terrorist attack. SMH it’s so disgustingly coward to murder innocents

  14. My biggest disappointment in the Dolphins is our offensive line. For how many years now our OL has underperformed?
Ajayi reminds me of Barry Sanders in the sense almost everything he does is self generated, OL does very little.

YES Mr. SPIKES; YOU & I DID WARN about the overwhelming need to upgrade the O-Line. WHEN THAT did NOT occur, our season was doomed!!!…
    ———
INDEED! People are just NOW catching on to what we warned about all offseason. And sadly now, we don’t even have the cap space to sign a FA upgrade… at ANY position.

Mr. Campbell, did you read the report that Mike Pouncey will need hip replacement surgery in 5-10 years, if not sooner? I highly doubt he makes it through this season as I’ve indicated for many moons now. We should have drafted PAT ELFLEIN!

    Quick-hit observations on Offense…

    1) Our O-Line is pathetic in pass-pro: we’re on track for 48 sacks over 16 games WITH Cutler’s superior pocket-presence.
    2) Our O-Line is pathetic in run-blocking: 3.2 YPC through 3 games with 0 TD runs.
    3) While Cutler’s CMP% is nice (67% through 3 games), his YDS/ATT are WAY down (nearly 2 yards per attempt): WHY are we playing ‘dink-and-dunk’ with his cannon arm?
    4) Ajayi’s 3.8 YPC today are NOT for a lack of trying very hard in front of his fellow Londoners. This O-Line is pathetic and Pouncey isn’t looking good (doubt he’s going to make it through this season, as I’ve predicted).
    5) Kenny Stills is averaging 5 Yds/reception LESS this year (11.2) than his career average (16.6).
    6) Julius Thomas is averaging nearly 2 Yds/reception LESS this year (8.9) than his career average (10.8) and his 2-year average in JAX (9.7).
    7) Jarvis Landry is averaging nearly 4 Yds/reception LESS this year (6.7) than his career average (10.3)
    8) I saw a stat citing that the 3-game Offensive scoring output this year is lesser than ANY 3-game stretch of Joe Philbin’s tenure here… OUCH.
    9) The play-calling is absolutely horrific from Adam Gase… it’s as though Dan Henning has taken over his brain and we even saw the ‘Wildcat’ today (where Cutler took the play off while on the field).

    — I stand by Adam Gase keeping Cutler as the starter into next week, but I’d keep Cutler on a very short leash. What does that mean? If Cutler isn’t the answer after 4 games (1/4 of the season), it’s time to start Matt Moore, JMO.
    — At his current rate of play, Ja’Wuan James won’t be here next year to collect his roughly scheduled $9.3M, after exercising his 5th-year option this past off-season.
    — Jarvis Landry and his agent are not going to be able to capitalize on a new contract at his current production… not Jarvis’ fault, either.
    — Has Adam Gase intentionally ‘dumbed-down’ the Offense to gain Cutler more familiarity with his new teammates in order to avoid early-season turnovers? If so, when do the training wheels come off? It’s time to let Cutler air it out… he looked good in the preseason, IMO.

  18. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

How on EARTH do we only have 4 sacks over the course of 3 games? That’s 1.3 sacks per game (21 over 16 games) and it’s futile.

How on EARTH do we have ZERO INTs over the course of 3 games?

We have 2 FFs and 1 FR over the course of 3 games on Defense… repulsive.

Now that ya mention as much, Saquon is a bigger body that reminds me of the versatility of Ronnie Brown… who went R1P2 in the 2005 Draft. Only thing is, Saquon is like Ronnie x2 in speed, strength, and agility.

It’s VERY possible that Saquon is a top-3 pick in the ’18 Draft, barring injury from now to Draft Day. And as I look to the future (PSU is ranked #4 right now): does Saquon sit out his bowl game as several have in the recent past to preserve his draft status? Something to watch…

    • D's avatar D says:

I think it really only matters if they are in the championship hunt. If PSU is one of the 4 teams in the Bowl Championship Playoffs he should play. If they aren’t then i wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t. They are only playing for pride if they arent in one of the playoff bowl games. I had 0 problems with McCaffery, Fournette, and i think one other person, doing that last year.

Nobody on this team is doing anything. No impact plays anywhere. They shoud be 0-3

  26. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

McCain had a 38.9 grade overall for the game (91st among corners). Wrote PFF: “He was targeted just 1 time in the first two weeks of the season, but was picked apart all day by Drew Brees, allowing all 10 targets thrown his way to be caught for 97 yards. 7 different Saints caught a pass with McCain in coverage on the day.”

    • D's avatar D says:

Yeah but i guess i was blind pointing out the same thing yesterday…..

    • D's avatar D says:

He is a complete liability to those teams that know how to work the slot receivers, and we have 2 games this year where we will be playing the guy who is the best at it.

  27. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

The Dolphins finished with 186 yards against a defense (saints) that had been giving up an average of 437.7. unacceptable.

    • D's avatar D says:

They were fully healthy on their DL for just the second game this year. Their DL and LB unit isnt bad at all. I think this is a defense that’s just now starting to put things together. They held the Panthers to 13 the week before.

    • D's avatar D says:

Most their yardage given up was in pass defense, and mostly because they haven’t gotten much pressure on the QB until the last two games, specifically the last one.

  28. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    James Walker

    @JamesWalkerNFL

The @MiamiDolphins are just 21.2 percent on third-down conversions this season, including 2-for-20 in the past two games.
    ******************
That is killer. Just completely ineffective on offense

    • D's avatar D says:

We are doing the same things we have in the past, both execution and play calling. We call a stupid play or fail to execute on 1st down and put ourselves in a hole. Id be our net yards on 1st down are fairly close to 0. We have also been getting penalties that negate the times we actually do do something on 1st.

    • D's avatar D says:

I don’t know that i have heard anything about his motives, ie why he did this, he definitely had some because he apparently had a big ass arsenal with him.

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

He could be connected to a terrorist group or acting alone. I’ve read they think he wasn’t connected to anything. IMO it doesn’t matter.

      • D's avatar D says:

I agree it doesn’t matter, ie it doesn’t change anything for this event, but i would like to know if it was something more sinister. The event that occurred, if isolated is a tragic event, the event that occurred if part of a terrorist attack could mean there is more to come.

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Gotcha. You’re absolutely right, his motives need to be determined for the reasons you give. Also, in most cases, the families of people hurt or killed would probably like to know why this happened to their loved ones.

  30. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Drew Brees has been picking apart defenders for over a decade. I’ve seen him do much worse to teams than he did to us yesterday. We actually kept him in check. If our offense was competitive we wouldn’t even be talking about McCain.

    • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

We have the number 8 scoring defense in the NFL, really the only stat that matters for a D. This with an offense that has been a pure liability. If we were putting up points the games would play out differently, but it’s still pretty hard to evaluate the D with as bad as the offense has been.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

The defense has kept us in all 3 games. This season is on the offense. It’s pretty obvious. Once again they were on the field the entire 2nd half and still held the Saints to 13 until that last TD. You have to compete in a football game and match scores from time to time. We’re playing with one arm tied behind our back.

By the way, PFF grades mean nothing to me. They don’t know what the game plan is, or who was responsible for what. They just say this guy caught a pass, this guy was the closest so it’s on him. It’s all apples and oranges anyway. You can’t compare players against others against different opponents like that than give them rankings. It’s so silly.

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

We play the Titans at home, and then we travel to ATL. Those are 2 tough teams to beat, but we may catch a break with Mariota, if his hamstring keeps him out. Even without Mariota, Tennessee has a very good O-line, especially run blocking. Between DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry, they can pound it on the ground.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

The Titans are not that good, not that it means anything against us because we lost to an 0-2 and 1-2 team and got embarrassed offensively. Until we start moving the ball and scoring points it doesn’t really matter who the opponent is.

    • Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

yeah, we will make them one dimensional. We will MAKE them pass on us (with their ball boy at QB if necessary) and they WILL Pass on us and win.

No question man, I do see similar things to the offensive issues we had the first 4 games last year, and even the couple of years before that. Always in bad 3rd down positions, and unable to convert. Gase has to figure out a way to fix that.

    • Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

and it is not a bubble screen thrown 5 yards behind the line when you need 12 yards.

      • D's avatar D says:

Yeah, its bad play calling on 1st down a lot too. You would think it wouldn’t be with a weapon like Ajayi but if they fail on the first drive or maybe first and second drives to get anything wit a run on 1st down they go to passes and hardly even come back to the runs.

    • D's avatar D says:

We have probably been like this for close to a decade, really bad 1st down play calling, really bad at staying out of 3rd and longs, really poor starts to games or sometimes finishing game, just never putting a whole great game together. We start the seasons bad, and have to bust ass to get it straightened out. 2013 was the only year i can remember where we started out fast, 3-0, and then these same Saints derailed us and then we lost like 4 in a row. So much for the one chance to be excited we have had at the beginning of the season. Since 2012 we have been 1-2, 3-0, 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 and again 1-2 to start the season.

  38. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Tim

The Titans beat the Seahawks, and scored 33 points against them. We may not score 33 points total in our first 4 games.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

They’ve also played like shit and got blown out yesterday. I said it doesn’t matter who our opponent is if we can’t move the ball and score points.

Why are some of you guys focused on the defense? If it wasn’t for them the games would be over at the half with zero support on offense. We kept Brees and the Saints in check all day. The Jets game was there for the taking all day and the offense did nothing. 6 points in 8 quarters. I just find it weird when fans go looking for other stuff to blame when it is so obvious. We can’t score.

      • D's avatar D says:

Why cant we focus on what we can see isn’t working right? Everyone knows the offense is a dud. We know our defense is decent, and pretty strong up front, but our secondary has been weak, it was the worst rated pass defense in the league last week, it was better this week but mostly on the outside, because Tankersly was an upgrade over Maxwell. That doesn’t mean we dont have any problems there and it surely doesnt mean its off limits to talk about.

  39. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

  40. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Where in my post did I mention the defense? I said we might not score 33 points in our 1st 4 games, and that is a legitimate statement.

    • D's avatar D says:

Wasnt you he was talking about MIke.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I was addressing Rock’s comments to your post about the Titans, as well as others focused on our secondary. I said some of you guys, not meaning you.
“yeah, we will make them one dimensional. We will MAKE them pass on us (with their ball boy at QB if necessary) and they WILL Pass on us and win.”

I’m not worried about the defense at this point. We’re not competing on offense in any way. It’s been absurd.

  41. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Least one Phins player had a good day yesterday…..and looks like we got us a player in the 3rd.
    ———————————-
“Tankersley said he was excited and nervous before the game, knowing Brees would be looking his way. Tankersley allowed 36 yards on seven targets from Brees. He made five tackles and had one pass defensed, playing all but one of the Dolphins’ 74 defensive snaps.

“I was going to talk to (Saints cornerback) Marshon Lattimore. Brees was walking across and he just walked to me and shook my hand and said, ‘You did good. I loved your competitive work’….I talked to Michael Thomas after the game and he just told me he liked my competitiveness, just hearing from those guys gave me a lot of confidence.”

  42. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

D, I don’t know why Gase doesn’t use more formations that add more blocking to get Ajayi rolling instead of trying to mix it up so much with all these different route combos that go for nothing. The first drive we started out that way and we were hitting Parker and Landry on nice slants and crossing routes. Then after the INT it all changed.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I don’t either. I really think they should consider going with MarQueis Gray and Fasano in a 2 TE set, and get Ajayi some running room.

    • D's avatar D says:

He needs to do some jumbo formation, double TE sets that he can eventually work play action passes out of. We HAVE to establish the run and i dont care if he has 9 OL out there Ajayi and Cutler, we need to keep at it until they have to respect the run. We cannot play without our running game has teeth to it.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

That’s what I was saying yesterday after the game. I’d go more 2-TE to match hats on hats, get Ajayi rolling and then open things up here and there with different looks. Gase’s offense is reminding me too much of Lazor’s and I hate it. He’s turning Ajayi into Lamar Miller. Not a knock on Miller’s skills, but his lack of touches.

      • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I think they’re playing soft. Ajayi most times is being greeted in the backfield or at the LOS, and it’s hard to get something going like that.

    • D's avatar D says:

I just think the run plays are overly predictable when we run them. I dont know if one of the OL is lining up with a “tell” and other teams have picked up on it, or if maybe Cutler has a tell, but they know which way its going and they are flowing with the zone blocking and there is no crease for Ajayi to find and make his cut. We need to be running come counter plays out of the same formation.

Have Tunsil and Steen flow to the left and then crack back on the DE, and LB’s and have Ajayi step first towards as if he is taking the handoff to the right and counter left, if they bit on play flow t the right, there should be a nice counter to the left, with Tunsil sealing out the DE Steen releasing on the LB and then Ajayi would be free to the secondary. If the freaking zone blocking isn’t working, stop just running it over and over into a defense thats expecting it. Confused them some, shake things up. Ajayi doesnt need much of a crease and he accelerates to top speed fast so he could be gone. One of those plays and they would have to play us honest.

OK, you replied to my post, so i thought you were talking to me. The defense hasn’t been great, but the offense is clearly the biggest problem for us. I’m just disappointed in what seems to be a defense devoid of playmakers. No one is stepping up and making anything happen. Of course the offense is so inept, and the defense is on the field all day, which doesn’t help.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

No the defense isn’t great, but played well enough to win all 3 games. We got one. I think the way our offense is playing the opponent feels like just protect the ball, score some points and we should be okay. Down 10-0 and 3-0 at the half the last 2 weeks. Who knew that’s all it would take. Ugh!

  46. I remember a time last year when the team was misfiring, similar to now.
But then the Steelers were coming to town.
    Our creative coach
Gase went with a 3 TE lineup and MADE openings for Ajayi, and softened up the defense of the stealers. Then we controlled the game for an easy win.

I Wish we still had that creative coach, I see Him, but don’t feel Him

I do not censor what you bitch about. why are you coming at me?

I think we get carried away with everyone has to be great or we need to replace some players on defense. The defense is not the problem, right now.

  58. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

You are right, the offense has been the problem. The “Stats” say we are a top 5 defense. But what I see is 112.4 passer rating we have given up at 8.2 yards per play. Teams are passing on us at will.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

PA is really all that matters when the other team has the ball 10 more minutes then you do because you struggle to score at all. Maybe the D is a lot better if we were scoring 20+ and had some nice drives. The TOP is the biggest issue besides the scoreboard. That won’t hold up for the defense if this continues. Teams get worn down. It’s happening to the Giants at 0-4. Their defense is now being beat late when they were really tough last year and early on in the season. I thought the Giants offense looked as bad as it gets their first two weeks. Ours the last two weeks, we look worse.

  59. Our OL isn’t getting the job done imo. I don’t remember any successful Dolphins teams that had a poor Offensive Line

  60. I though Tunsil would kick butt at LT, his natural position,

Steen hasnt been overly great no overly bad.

Pouncey hasnt been himself, i dont think he is fully healed. He has been blow average.

    ————————-

Sorry, kind of a late response here, Rock. A defensive lineman called for holding is almost always grabbing and pulling a lineman next to the one he is engaging to move him off his spot and prevent him from getting his hands on a different rusher. If I’m the D-lineman holding, it gives my teammate a crease or path to the passer/rusher. Justin Smith of the Niners used to do this regularly without getting flagged, he had a real knack for hiding it.

Giving the refs the benefit of the doubt that it wasn’t just a ‘fix is in’ call. I think what the ref saw was Godchaux engaged by the center, then it appeared Godchaux fell backwards pulling the center AND the guard to him, opening up a path for the Jones to stuff the play, because the guard WOULD have blocked Jones if he didn’t get pulled to the ground by Godchaux.

What really happened was the guard appeared to blow his assignment, or whoever was supposed to pick up Jones didn’t, the guard doubleteamed Godchaux, the center and guard destroyed Godchaux and pancaked him to the ground, and Jones had a free path to the rusher through the space the guard was occupying.

It was a totally egregious call, and a turning point in the game IMO. That ref sucks.

If Cutler doesn’t turn it around it isn’t gonna matter. We know what Moore is…..he’s a back-up.
If Gase doesn’t figure out how to run the ball the season is toast anyway.

I’m not sure that Moore is a mere back-up being he ROCKED last year (105.6 passer rating) in relief of Tannehill for 3.5 games… he got us into the playoffs. However, I’d question his physical stamina over the course of a 12-game season: he hasn’t had to do that since 2011.

100% AGREED that if Gase can’t figure out how to run the ball, the season is toast anyway.

Why does it seem it’s our lot in life to suffer as fans of our beloved Phins?!! *sigh* 😦
Help us, ‘Gase’ Windu… you’re our only hope…

Who really dropped the ball today was social media. They aren’t held acccountable, don’t use or need sources, most have no media training or education, and they photoshop, and make up fake shit for their own agendas. Social Media should be called out when they suck, today they sucked

Late reply to this, so apologies in advance, David.

I think you’re mistaking social media with the Mainstream Media (MSM) radicalized leftist news outlets: ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post, etc, etc.

They brought the mantra of #FakeNews upon themselves, and that’s why they can no longer be trusted. I’m not even being political here being it’s the TRUTH… and it was on display today before EVERYBODY, as you noted (only confusing liberal news for social media).

And leave it to the MSM to politicize the Vegas shooting before the facts even come out, SMH. Time to turn off the TV and the MSM internet.

    • Not at all buddy, social media isn’t even close to mainstream media. Social media is user submitted crap on Facebook, instagram, YouTube, and the like. Of course social media is just people doing what people do, and many enjoy trolling, planking, etc, and have no media training , education, accountability, whatsoever..

  98. As the investigation into the deadliest mass shooting in US history unfolds, trolls have no problem taking advantage of people on social media, whether it’s to spread propaganda or all part of a prank. These hoaxes frequently happen after large tragedies, making them a sad reminder that people should be cautious of what they read online, particularly following this type of event.

Just minutes after the shooting unfolded in Las Vegas, trolls took to Twitter to spread the “Sam Hyde” shooter hoax, a meme where the comedian’s photo is posted online blaming any mass shooting on him. The hoax also popped up after the attacks at UCLA and San Bernardino.
