I’d say we had what most of us here at FU believe was a very successful draft, and for those of you have been here a long time, which is most of you, to get any kind of consensus on our drafts is normally impossible. Despite that fact, along with the return of our starting QB, Las Vegas oddsmakers have us winning only 6 games. In Tannehill’s worst season we were 6-10, not coincidentally, that was Joe Philbin’s last year as Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins. I’m sure there are 3 major factors as to why they have us so low, and I believe first and foremost it’s the health of our QB Ryan Tannehill, and how long he’s been away from the game, 19 games to be exact. When we cut Suh, we lost one of our best defensive players. When we chose not to pay Jarvis Landry $15M + per season, we lost one of our most productive offensive players.
We know the losses, but I feel like they don’t consider the gains we’ve made strongly enough. I think we finally got the back end help we’ve been missing here in Miami, and I’m pretty confident that Minkah Fitzpatrick will be playing a lot, right from the start. He will instantly prove he’s better than anyone else we have as a deep safety, or even a LOS cover man on a TE, or bigger slot WR. He will have a ton of opportunities, and will make the best of them. I think Ryan Tannehill is healthy and ready to go, and although there is so much worry his wretched knee can’t hold up, look at Frank Gore who shredded his knees in college at U of Miami, and is still playing in the NFL 14 years later. There was nothing special or unusual about Tannehill’s injury, and I say once again, it wasn’t two separate injuries, he had a slight tear that he tried to rehab without surgery, and then it finally tore later on. Not devastating, it’s like a button on your jacket that’s loose, and then one day it just FALLS OFF! It’s still just one button, and yes it was disheartening when Tannehill went down, it was a run of the mill knee injury,
In addition to Fitzpatrick and Tannehill, we finally drafted that receiving TE that gives all NFL DC’s nightmares. We’ve been terrorized for years by them, but now we have one of our very own. Mike Gesicki will make a difference here from day one. I know they say TE’s historically start slow in the NFL, but if you watch the NY Giants, you’d know that Evan Engram, a smaller version of Gesicki had 64 receptions and 722 yards and 6 TD’s last season. I think Gesicki can easily duplicate that or better that. He will additionally open the offense for everyone else. Once he’s out there tearing up the middle of the field, he will garner more attention, which in turn will open things up for the run game, and our perimeter receivers, Parker and Stills, and also for short passes and screens to Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant.
We have had lots of problems covering TE’s, and RB’s and we’ve seen LB Kiko Alonso burnt far too often. The addition of Fitzpatrick and also LB Jerome Baker gives us flexibility. I think we’re going to try and figure out who our primary LOS cover guys will be in both nickel and dime formations. It might change a lot, but they have to identify which guys can get it done. Fitzpatrick, Baker, McDonald will all get the chance to be on the field more, since in today’s NFL, offenses operate with 3, 4 and 5 receiver sets so often that teams are in the nickel and dime more than ever. We know what the issue is, and they drafted talent to combat it, in addition to signing T.J. McDonald last year. You could even throw LB Stephone Anthony in the mix, big, fast LB who can cover.
We didn’t replace the huge hole in the DL after releasing Ndamukong Suh. The fact is, even if we took Vita Vea or Da’Ron Payne, we still wouldn’t have filled that hole. Suh was a beast, he played a ridiculous amount of snaps throughout his entire career, and easily led the Dolphins in that category. The philosophy has changed, and we’re going to rotate fresh players in more often from now on. At the moment, that’s Jordan Phillips, Davon Godchaux, Vincent Taylor, Gabe Wright and also DE/DT William Hayes. Also keep in mind the cap money we get after June 1st, and I won’t be surprised in the least if we pick up a DT in FA at that point. After the draft, veterans are often cut, so we’ll have some choices to bolster the DL.
I love the Kalen Ballage pick. I know I’ve said it a bunch of times, but watch the kid play, and he’s a lot like Arizona’s David Johnson. He’s a very reliable receiver, he has some giddyup running a 4.46 40 at 6’2 228. He’s a tough short yardage back, but also one who has the breakaway speed to take it the distance. Ditto on the pick of Durham Smythe, TE. He’s the blocking TE to replace Anthony Fasano, and he’s a decent receiver as well. When we’re running the ball, Smythe will be the in line blocking TE, and I’m sure there will be formations with both Smythe and Gesicki, with Gesicki split out. You can run or pass from that formation, and also keep in mind that although Gesicki wasn’t asked to block much at Penn State, he will block here in the NFL. He won’t be Durham Smythe, but he will block.
We also bolstered special teams in the draft with the selections of LB Jerome Baker, Cornell Armstrong, Quentin Poling, and K Jason Sanders. In addition, I think we also got some help on the offensive line. Acquiring Josh Sitton, one of the best pass blocking OG’s in the NFL, we definitely improved. We got an OC we can count on being there the whole season, and who will be able to practice with his linemates when we traded for Daniel Kilgore. LT Laremy Tunsil will be a better player having LG Josh Sitton next to him, teaching him his responsibilities and of course, having better play next to him. If Ja’Wuan James is healthy, he will be a good player playing for his next contract, a good spot for us to be in. Hopefully we both benefit by that, and we re-sign James after a great season. Right guard is a question mark, but we have promise in up and comer Jesse Davis and veteran Ted Larsen. Between those 2, they should be able to hold down that spot. Also, maybe last year’s draftee OG Isaac Asiata enters the mix and surprises.
6 wins? FU Las Vegas!

Tim:
I have been living on McDonalds milkshakes the last couple of weeks. Can’t do the fruits and berries too acidic it will irritate the burn in mouth
Okay good. Mangos aren’t acidic are they?
Damn page turn
MTP couldn’t be held in check for too long
As soon as Grier untied him, he started working the phones
More spooning damn it
This trade makes sense though.
“Spence was also valued by the Dolphins because new defensive line coach Kris Kocurek, a former NFL defensive tackle, coached and liked the player while he was the Lions defensive line coach before joining Miami in 2018.”
“Spence, 26, has been traded to the Dolphins for a late-round draft pick in 2019, the source said. Another source said the Dolphins will give up a seventh-round pick.
http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/armando-salguero/article210285869.html
There you go – That’s a great trade.
Came in as a 4th round pick and being reported as we’re giving up a late 2019 pick. Sounds like good value filling a big hole in more ways than one
He was a backup in DET, so somewhat expendable. I hope it’s a 7th, which would be fine.
If it’s a 7th MTP hit a home run on this one.
Spence, 26, was a fourth-round pick of Tampa Bay in 2013 who started 11 games for the Lions last season, finishing with 19 solo tackles and 20 assists. He appeared in all 16 games in 2017.
He’s from Fort Walton Beach High School.
Spence signed a three-year deal last year and earned bonuses based on playing time that would have pumped his $2.4 million salary to $3.15 million, but the Lions evidently didn’t want to pay that. Reports out of Detroit described the Lions’ reasoning as unclear.
Spence was an instant starter as a rookie with the Bucs, finishing with 29 total tackles and one sack. He matched his career high of three sacks in 2014. He joined the Lions for 2017 on a three-year, $9 million contract.
We also have two 7th rd picks in 2019, ours and one from CLE for Landry.
So the Landry trade landed us TE Durham Smythe and DT Akeem Spence.

Yep – Not too shabby
Certainly better than letting him go for nothing
Still pretty low return for an all pro level talent imo
Saved a boat load of cash and added two need positions on both sides of the ball.
Ken – It was either pay Landry close to $16M per year, or do what we did. I think we made the right choice
I had no problem paying Landry. Suh was another story
Ken, Landry has never been all-pro and was never a first selection pro bowler, he was always an addition when other WRs opted out.
You have to look at it from the cap perspective and the addition of two players who should contribute quite a bit this year. That’s how I look at the value. I think it worked out fine because we now have new TE options to help move the chains. Our offense will look a lot different this year and I don’t think we’ll miss what Landry does.
Is he a Kneeler?????????
Yes he kneels and he said his father who is a contractor didn’t get work because of it.
His dad didn’t sue like the cake folks did??????
I guess he stopped…lol
Matt Ryan got paid today.
OMG not a kneeler! we can’t have players who care about the welfare of others! Ship him back!
It was going to cost a 5th RD pick, but MTP said “Hey, the guy’s a kneeler!” 7th RD pick now
If only he knew what he was kneeling for.
Akeem Spence can play. He’s no camp fodder. He’s only 26.
He’s definitely not camp fodder, he’ll be in our DL rotation for sure.
My son in law the Bucs fan said he’s good against the run
Much better than Suh, upgrade.
Stop it
He looks like he would be, he’s really broad at 6-1 307.
He gets great leverage because he’s used to getting down low from kneeling
Say goodbye to next year’s draft. This is the pebble in the pond. Lol
Unless we get Cam Newton there’s no trade worth making.
Gase could never deal with Cam anyway. But Fuck we’d be tough.
I’d take Juice Newton over Cam.
Nonbeliever
If I had to chose a Newton!

Oh Olivia!
I’d run a bootleg with her

That’s true. That’s the way things are now.
Aiight, after Osweiler lights it up in preseason, I don’t want to hear any of you guys that are crying about him now, calling for him to replace RT 😁 because you know you guys will.
Myocardial infarction first lol
ICk, another DETROIT DT?
Olivia Newtron Bomb
Hulk was born in Dayton, Ohio. Just an FYI
Man that 85.3 career passer rating is really tough to pass up for an entire draft! SOOOOOOOOO glad Gase wouldn’t do that becaues he couldn’t handle him…..
Don’t poke the bear
I’m sick of you not liking my guys lol
PCT Yd/S TD/S INT/S Rat
58.5 3,582 22.5 13.4 85.3
62.7 3,691 21.2 13.2 86.5
Proof in the pudding Son, proof in the pudding
Meh
Who are you trading a draft for?
Neither, they are both Meh, that’s my point.
ukfinfan,
Condolences for your loss and sorry to hear all that you’re going through, man: you are in my thoughts and prayers. We’re here for ya.
Son, don’t elevate your importance so much. I don’t like your players because they aren’t as good as you think, not because you like them. If you didn’t exist I would still have the same opinions of the players…..
😉 LOL JBB
I doubt that. If I wasn’t here you wouldn’t know who these guys were.
Congrats on quitting smoking fat ass. Just keep working out you’ll be alright.
Man ONJ was sooooooo beautiful in her time. I was head over heals in love with her in 1980!
I was 12 when Xanadu came out.
Yeah she always got me too.
Didn’t age particularly well unfortunately
My friend had that poster of her in those black spandex pants from Grease. She was scorching hot!
Mike E… So know the Fest date is set. I know you will be in your usual spot and so will I. So we will get plenty of exorcise walking up and down the boardwalk. Now are the inlanders going to go back to La Quinta or enjoy the beach front lodging with all the cool places to eat and grab a drink ?
I enjoyed being neighbors with the Toba Two and Piggy was your neighbor. Krishna and his Lovely was about 50 yards from us and Son and Bob were right behind us. It really made stumbling home easy 😎👍🐕
I’m going Neptune
Yeah, I hope most of the crew can stay down near us. Brian and his son also stayed in our hotel. I’m pretty sure my son is coming, I can’t wait to get that going.
I’ve ordered better weather so we can party and rock the beach. That wind and rain sucked last year but it’s unusual so I’m counting on normal beautiful weather this year.
I think I have some REALLY GOOD NEWS (football related) to share about me!!! I’ll let y’all know when I know for sure!
Sounds great – Looking forward to the good news!
Thanks, Mike E!
Hired by Steve Spurrier to scout for this facocta team he’s running here in Orlando?
LOL, nah! But I’ll drop a hint: it DOES have to do with scouting!
Cool good for you man
Congrats on quitting smoking fat ass. Just keep working out you’ll be alright.
That is the strangest part. I still don’t have ANY ass. how can you gain 35 lbs in 6 months and still have noassatall, there has to be a cure for noassatall I beg each and everyone of you to donate as much as you can to help stamp out noassatall.
Does our draft grade get better now that we traded for Spence😉
I know it sounds ridiculous, but what really is ridiculous is grading our draft for who we didn’t take, instead of who we did.
Last year the Saints had the best draft any team has had in a while, based on what several of their picks accomplished, not because they also filled all their needs or didn’t.
Perception becomes reality when you aren’t a winner. You win you tell the story. Till you do it’s written for you.
Minkah just saved everyone’s ass. Smart/ good/ Job saving pick.
Mike I didn’t like the “leather Olivia” nearly as much as “sweet Olivia”
Plus, “leather Olivia” was hooking up with vinny barbarino, what a loser.
Agreed
Akeem Spence was Lions best free agency signing of 2017
https://247sports.com/nfl/detroit-lions/Bolt/Akeem-Spence-was-Lions-best-free-agency-signing-of-2017-114352127
and kicked to the curb in 2018
The changed DCs
Washington’s Tom Wilson puts a key Penguins player out for the season with a concussion and a fractured jaw and all he gets is a 3 game suspension?? — That’s bullshit!! This is Wilson’s THIRD suspension this season. In my book, Wilson should get an unpaid suspension for AS MANY GAMES AS the Pittsburgh player misses!! And, if I were NHL commissioner, I’d tell Wilson one more similar offense and YOU’RE suspended for an entire season without pay. Those nutless wonders at the NHL headquarters in Toronto need to grow a pair!!!!!!!!
———————————-
MANITOBA my man: I’ll be rooting for your boys again tonight. But please DON’T fall behind 3-0 again!! My old heart can’t take it!! – – And, in case you are wondering, YES, I’ll wear the super-sized Jets’ cap again, tonight. —As I was watching the thrilling end to your last game I thought to myself “This is like Shula’s ’82 Dolphins coming from behind in the mind-boggling Chargers overtime playoff game! –Except YOUR TEAM WON!!” –It’s got to be the greatest Stanley Cup Playoff game I’ve ever watched from beginning to end!!
Oh how I yearn for Dolphins playoffs games as expected every year and the memories of exciting playoff games especially when we win.
THAT SAID, the GREATEST COMEBACK I’d like to see would be KEN in a HULK outfit at this year’s Fest!!! THAT would be THEEEE GREATEST COMEBACK!!!
Love ONJ she’s gorgeous and talented and her accent geez.
M13, you’re joining the scouts as a Dobson Fly collector? 😉
LOL
And to be clear, NO, it’s not a job opportunity… but it COULD lead to a job opportunity! Baby steps…
One of my fave 80s songs…
Sigh………….
I BELIEVE!!
That song is on my IPod, unless you’re watching the video it’s a very annoying song.
I see Spence and Godchaux on run/pass downs because as we know teams run and throw on any down. Then Phillips and Turner on obvious passing downs – they have long arms and can obstruct passing lanes while also playing the run at times.
ROCKPHIN: You, Tim, and all the other posters going Ga-Ga over Olivia need to know she was born the year after I was!!! OK, there’s the lob shot! WHOOO is going to come in with the overhead smash??
DEAR GOD!! YOU WERE BORN IN 1947!!!??? You are old. LOL
She was older than my mom when I fell in love with her.
Raquel Welch was born before you but she was super hot and still is beautiful
LOL! I should tell ya that I have HUGE CRUSH on Audrey Hepburn (not kidding)!!! Of course, I’m talking about her in her prime! What a BEAUTY she was!
OMG she was beautiful. you are right.
Agreed. For the longest time I thought her and Katherine were sisters only to find out they were distant cousins.
I had a crush on a lot of beautiful women in the 70’s from like 10 on. LOL
I had subscriptions to SI and their swimsuit issues pretty early on.
I’ve got NO problem with trading for Spence… especially being it only cost us the 2019 7th rounder we got in exchange for the Jarvis Landry trade… but I was kind of expecting to get another space-eater like Jordan Phillips at some point.
Again, NO problem with getting Spence. I like this trade.
Knicks just signed a great head coach
Tisdale
He won’t be great once he gets to NY
Especially with Dolan up in his business
when is the fest?
Sunday 10/21 vs LIONS
MF13ss, if it is in fact only a 7th (or even 6th) round pick I think it is a great trade and very savvy way of acquiring players. He did the same thing with our best run stopping DE, William Hayes last season by swapping 7th round picks. SWAPPING.
Quinn for a 4th and a swap of 6th’s. These deals are when a team wants to move on from a player not because they’re bad but not good system fits and they don’t want the salaries. If we’re cool with what they make it’s an easy trade.
^^^^^
!!!!!
😀
No shit, when I was 8 years old, and it was my birthday, I was in the backseat of my parents car, and they asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told them “An 18 year old lady, nekkid!”
How about legos little Miley?
Oh wait Lincoln logs you old fart
ROFLMAO!! Your mom gasped and your dad rolled his eyes away and hid a smile before acting however your mother wanted him to….
8/8/1969
Mike, Me too, still….
Yeah, me too Rock
I can’t see anyone being against the Spence trade. It makes sense on so many levels and isn’t expensive compensation or with the salary cap. A 26 year old vet with 5 years experience is what we needed to add to our DT group. It fits with our no big contract approach and guys doing their jobs.
Actually!

Yep she was one of them.
OD with the W on Raquel Welch
Sorry that was Rock
Son – Yeah lincoln logs, but we’re talking real logs back then. lol
The Knicks just destroyed the career of a promising coach
Exactly, unfortunately
I know I am Knicks fan too
“If we’re cool with what they make it’s an easy trade.”…
Tim, I think it’s a great tool for teams. They get something, even if it is a “nearly worthless” draft pick rather than nothing at all and the receiving team doesn’t have to compete for the player in free agency. For the cost of only a “nearly worthless” draft pick.
We saw a lot of trades like this all across the league. Much more player trading the last few years than ever before. It’s basically low draft compensation for non-system fits and cap considerations. Like they say, it’s takes two to tango. Spence didn’t fit what Patricia wants on defense but he did for us. Good trade for both teams.
The Landry trade landed us Smythe and Spence at need positions and we still have a full 7 round draft in 2019. We have yet to have less than 7 draft picks in a year since MTP has been here. That absolutely reckless guy. 😉
Regarding Olivia.. When I was in the gulf during operation Praying Mantis for 5 months we were supposed to go to Perth for our 1st port of call and my 19 year old smoking hot wife knew that if I met a 19 -21year old Olivia that I might not come back. We ended up turning around right after leaving the straight of Hormuz and headed right back into the Persian Gulf for another 4 months so I always think what could have been.. I’m glad we turned back because those that have met my wife know I got Lucky. 😎👍
🙂
I’m VERY happy that your story ended up being a happy one! PROPS!
You got waaay lucky bro
Great girl
👍👍👍
We all know ProLou can act bi-polar and such but he’s been MIA since before the draft. Just hope he and his are okay.

She is just SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Not just her looks, but the way she composed herself and her gracious, kindly manner is just SO beautiful to me! She could make the HARDEST of the hardcore man melt. That’s a LADY(!!!), not your average woman of today. I’d throw MYSELF over a puddle so she wouldn’t get her feet wet. I would treat her better than the Queen of England gets treated.
I had grandparents where she LOVED him and he LOVED her… chivalry, mutual respect, equality, shared responsibility, and essentially a perfect marriage. I feel like I was born a generation or two too late… 😦
Well you’d be dead now. LOL

oh, yeah? well, well, I would make her feel dirty and thank me for it.

Because we are douche bags….duh.
(Crossing fingers) Please let be because of me, please let it be because of me.
Prof Lou is alright by me. Just sayin’…
Facebook and twitter can continue to exist without my direct support. Or…they can cease to exist which would be preferable
I warned mofoz about Facebook nearly a decade ago. And what has happened? *BOOM*
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING
Yes, Big brother IS watching. Orwell just mistook which brother. The ALLMIGHTY dollar is in charge we are all stats bought and sold.
Oy! It doesn’t matter which system of governance is in place, we are ALL being watched by BIG BROTHER. As is the case in capitalistic America, communistic China and Russia, and every other system of governance.
It’s not about the almighty dollar… it’s about a NET that casts itself around ALL of us. Just sayin’…
The way this off-season is going down is beginning to freak me out.
The FO is meeting every need with quality players for not that much money.
AND they are getting those guys that just love football too, which really helps when times are tough.
Stop it Naples. Stifle yourself. Peeshaw
I know right, like the guy that scores and puts his finger over his lips to signify not to let anyone know. We dont do so well, when our team is supposed to do good.
The dophins are awful. worst team in the league. I saw it on the internet.
I mean Akeem Spence is EXACTLY the solution we needed at that position.
He’s young but a veteran, quick, easily motivated, and hits hard. And his coach wanted him.
Next year in the 1st round we draft one of the Clemson DL or equivalent, and he becomes the starter and Spence is still there as a rotational player and role model at back-up pay.
Or Spence plays ok this year but is not worth keeping, so we ditch him as soon as we draft the star rookie, no fuss no muss.
That’s downright elegant.
I agree about Spence, but we don’t need a 1st round DT.
In the new power rankings, we are STILL 30th. The draft did not change us even one spot.
Cool let them think that.. I’ll bet you $50.00 that we end up better than that 🍺
I am not betting against us this year, except we do have a wicked tough schedule.
WOW, watching a show on PBS and they said that each of us is walking around with about THREE POUNDS of foreign living creatures living on and in us.
Lol Tim there you go again, it’s Vincent Taylor, not Turner 😁
Some of the greatest guitar and bass licks you will here from the 70’s
If we could add 1 more player at any position and still be under the cap, who would you want, or which position would you want it at? Reasonably speaking.
June 1st cuts count too.
I’m going RG

OH SHIT!!–Manitoba’s boys lost 2-1 to Nashville. I bailed after the first period, hoping the Jets would win. Watched the highlights, and there were plenty of them.

Lightning plays at Boston, again, tonight @ 7:00 PM. We need to get Stamkos and Kucherov up and contributing. NO ONE in Tampa Bay expects a repeat of the game 3 blowout.
Expect a loss like all the other series 2-2, Seems to be the theme. Horrible officiating, as if 4 game 7s is the agenda.
I want TB to win, and hope they bust the agenda, but its going to be tough.
HULKFEST — Sunday 10/21 vs Lions
Sat eve meet-up as always plus our new to be usgh event — tunes with the Dog on Friday on Hollywood Beach.
“Seat draft” is next Tues and I need to put in a rough number then. No obligation to buy now and you can back out till the seats have to be paid for, but please help me figure out how many to reserve.
Based on what folks have said on the board am figuring the following (but confirm even if I have you as “In”).
IN
Hulk
Mike E (+1 or +2)
Pig
Doggy (+1-3)
Son (+1-3)
Rock
stanger (+2-4)
OD (sitting with the crew?)
Phelon (sitting with the crew?)
Krishna (+1) (sitting with the crew?)
And that is just folks who either specifically said they are coming, preferred the Lions or were cool with all the dates. Don’t see your name — tell me to put it on the list even if you end up as a possible. Lots of regulars not listed there.
And if you haven’t been to a FEST…..nothing better.
Count me in
Never mind you did
Wouldn’t be a HulkFest without a Hulk. 🙂
IN
Dog + 2 For sure. Waiting on my son to let me know if he’s bringing anyone.
Trading a 2019 7th round pick for a 26 yr old DT who has proven he can START on an NFL team is a DAMN GOOD TRADE!! Name the number of 7th round picks who became starters, or even made the team and stuck for more than a year….
This was brilliant “insurance” imo. Even better than taking an unproven rookie in 4th round or later in this year’s draft. Now… let’s see what might be up their sleeve for some OL depth.
https://goo.gl/images/hSaiYM
This was brought up a while back, we need to be able to get these guys the ball where they’re productive. Game plan around their strengths.
Steve, Taylor/Turner, they both start with a T. LOL

If we could add 1 more player at any position and still be under the cap, who would you want
Aaron Rodgers. I don’t think this meets the intent of your question, but it is my answer.
Rodgers is about to be the first $30+M dollar man.
Yeah, that’s why I wrote reasonable speaking.
“and still be under the cap”
You didn’t say I had to manage the cap, you just said we would still be under the cap…..I don’t care what magic the front office used.
ADD Rock?
I am wondering if the Pig stole the beers one at a time or all at once. Bottle or can? how did it carry them and how did it open them?
Looks like aren’t done at DT Terrell McClain in for a visit today. All the bad pub about not getting a QB and DT in the draft, but our FO isn’t close to being done yet.
MTP seems like he’s in a prove it year, while Grier seems to be an Ozzie Newsome in the making, very sensible and smart. I like the combination of Gase and Grier, just better done.
The Cheats will get a new DE.
I’m not sold on Gase yet. I had very high hopes the first year, and although our offense wasn’t quite as offensive as his second year, it wasn’t good enough. (Just good enough to beat an easy schedule and back into the playoffs) His second season our offense was truly offensive. So I am waiting to see what the “offensive guru” produces this year.
I HATED a lot of the play calling the first two year. HATED IT! But, then again if it had been executed properly maybe I wouldn’t have noticed, or maybe even liked it.
He has this year to convince me. Playoffs or I turn on him. Just being honest.
But . . . . We didn’t have Gesicki . . . . . As a wise old man once said, everything is different now
that “wise old man”s saying was wrong so how wise could it have been?
I hope your boy-crush works out, but I’m not holding my breath.
Of course we didn’t have one of the best players in the league at WR screens when we kept trying and failing at them again and again and again last year, but now we have Albert Wilson so maybe they will work? IDK…
Shhhh, he’s very wise, but he’s not as old as I am
Attention Deficit Disorder? Yes, yes I do. How did you know?
I wrote reasonable speaking twice and by the time you read the period after it you forgot it😉
Done
Last treatment?
Alright! Now get back to feeling good!
Smash!
Hulk feel smashed right now. Right now I have more radiation in me at any other point and it will probably take 3-4 more weeks to metabolize out of my system. I can expect 1 more of feeling pretty miserable and then I should be returning to my normal Hulk self
That’s great Ken, the worst is over. WTG champ – You did it! Now it’s time to get back to enjoying life.
Hang in there Ken!!
WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!! I’m happy for you Ken. Congrats. Now keep up your workout routine and cut out the treatments and naps and you will be on your way. So glad.
I couldn’t do the workouts this week I was just too physically drained. I had been going every day for the first weeks. The plan is to get back to it next week
Might the Seattle coach be done this year?
They are in full rebuild mode, and he’s really old to be starting such a process.
I do think it is a matter of a year or 2 before he retires
Glad to hear, Ken. Hoping you feel better and back to normal very soon.

Mike, I wasn’t arguing the old part (he is that, even if he isn’t as old as you, who is?) I was arguing the wisdom part. We are talking about a guy who thinks a QB with a lower passer rating, lower yards per game, lower completion percentage by a good margin and a higher Int to TD ratio than Tannehill is better than him. This is a guy who thought spending 17% of the salary cap on a guy that produced 36 tackles and 5 sacks per year was a grand thing! Wisdom? I don’t think so. Great guy? Yeah! wise? no.
Ken, I didn’t know you had so many Star wars Geeks as fans! Good for you!
May the fourth be with you
someone else said that to me today and I didn’t get it. Now that I READ it, it makes sense.
Mike, sounds like the Mets and Harvey will be parting ways soon. How the mighty has fallen.
Ugh, my nephew just told me. I hope someone is willing to trade for him, but I doubt it, he’s been awful.
Hey this stocking up on players is fun!
Is cliff Avril too old/beat-up/expensive to get in here for a year?
Is he a good mentor type guy for Phillips and Godchaux and Taylor?
I confess to not know much about the McClain guy.
He’s a DE
maybe he is too slow and heavy and needs to go inside now like we are doing with Hayes. Still be quick for a DT.
I’m going to really try to get the stars to align and make the fest this year. I don’t want to add my name to the list tho because I really won’t know if I can until prob October.
Make it happen ER
yeah man, DO IT!! Love to meet you!
ER — can guarantee you would not regret coming. And that makes you a possible, and that is all it means.
Stanger – I’m a +1 getting my own seats.

Source: the Dolphins have claimed former Jets QB Bryce Petty off of waivers.
Not surprised.
More competition.
Bryce, make sure you bring your play book like we asked Danny to.
The day he almost died, and might have, if Wake didn’t let up, no such luck from Suh.
And hey Rock you have no idea what old is. Or what it feels like. And Mike E is NOT it.
I mean, hey, when I was born, the King of England was, well, a King,
not that ancient lady they have on the throne nowadays.
Harry Truman was president. Harry Frickin Truman.
And this was my car.

LOL Mike isn’t that much older than me. It’s just a running joke. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t give hand jobs to strangers either…….Well, pretty sure, anyway, what was I saying?
Don’t sell him short, I’m sure he does😊 he’s always good for a JBB.
LOL So old the link don’t work:

I wrote reasonable speak….LOOK A SQUIRREL!
Wait, what were we talking about.
I am into rat rods and lead sleds.
That’s cool, not so much into rat rods, but love the lead sleds.
