This was somewhat of a beleaguered group last season. Tony Lippett was out for the season with an achilles injury, and we had to sign veteran CB Alterraun Verner, who played in 15 games for us with 2 starts. Rookie Cordrea Tankersley was pressed into action, and had some good moments and some bad ones, starting and playing in 11 games last season. Only 2 CB’s on the Dolphins current roster played in all 16 games last season, Xavien Howard and Bobby McCain. As far as consistency goes, McCain was our best CB last season. Xavien Howard had a stretch at the end of last season that was All-Pro caliber. There is definitely promise in this group, and one such promising figure is 2017 UDFA Torry McTyer, who has been opening eyes in training camp. Here’s the lowdown on all of our CB’s.
Xavien Howard CB – 6’1 192 – 25YO
“X” ended the season with a flourish. He had all 4 of his INT’s in 2 games, 2 in the Denver game, and 2 against New England, and one against Denver was for a TD. That was his breakout, and although he didn’t get an additional INT, he was playing as close to shutdown corner as you can get. He finished the season with 48 tackles (42 solo), 13 passes defensed, 1 sack, and 4 INT’s (1 for a TD). So we know who one of the starters is, as X will be one of them. If he can continue his strong play from the end of last season, we’re going to have a very strong secondary.
____________________________________________________
Cordrea Tankersley CB – 6’1 200 – 24YO
Our 3rd RD pick in the 2017 NFL Draft (#97), the Clemson product was forced to start 11 games last season due to injuries in the secondary. He was up and down, showing flashes of good play, and then as expected, looking lost at times too. His spot is definitely up for grabs, he has no such “lock” on the spot opposite X. He’s going to have to be more consistent, and also find the football. In 11 games starts, Cordrea had zero INT’s. He did finish with 31 tackles and 7 passes defensed. Competition is coming for that spot, so Cordrea is on notice!
____________________________________________________
Bobby McCain CB – 5’11 192 – 25YO
Good ol’ Bobby McCain had quite the season last year. He was so consistent playing mostly in the slot, that the Dolphins rewarded him with a 4YR/$27M contract. According the depth chart the Dolphins released, he’s opposite Xavien Howard, but I don’t pay much attention to that. Bobby is a slot CB, even with rookie draftee Minkah Fitzpatrick, who does the very same and a lot more, I think McCain will be on the inside almost exclusively this year as always. The 2015 5th RD pick has done well for himself, an excellent draft pick for sure.
___________________________________________________
Tony Lippett CB – 6’3 192 – 26YO
Lippett had a very nice 2016 season, but then missed the entire 2017 season with an achilles injury. Lippett showed great ball skills in coverage, finishing the 2016 season with 68 tackles, (45 solo), 10 passes defensed, and 4 INT’s. The tall, former WR played the ball very well as if he were the intended receiver. It’s a long recovery though, and Lippett left scrimmage the other day with an ankle injury. I’m not sure how much Lippett can contribute this season, but I’m pulling for him. If he can get healthy, I think he can be an impact player, but I’m not sure how much that injury has robbed his speed and cutting ability. Time will tell, and we’ll see if he get himself whole again.
___________________________________________________
Torry McTyer CB – 5’11 188 – 23YO
So far in the 2018 Dolphins training camp, he is the darling of the secondary. The 2017 UDFA who was signed by the Dolphins last May is really showing well early on training camp. The speedy UNLV product played in 7 games last season for Miami, mostly on ST’s. At the moment, he is listed 3rd on the depth chart the Dolphins put out before the preseason. How much does that matter? According to McTyer, it doesn’t. He’s going to keep playing hard, taking nothing for granted, and making the most of his opportunities. Although slightly shorter than most of the other Dolphins CB’s, McTyer has good speed, equal to or better than all of them. We’ll see if Cinderella can continue to shine.
__________________________________________________
Jalen Davis CB – 5’10 185 – 22YO
Davis was an UDFA signed out of Utah St. The former All-American CB was a non invitee to the NFL combine, a snub that reportedly fuels Davis. He showed well at his pro day running a 4.4 40, putting up 11 reps and soaring to a 36″ vertical. The 4 YR starter at Utah St. finished his college career with 11 INT’s, 4 FF, and 4 TD’s. He will have to battle to make the roster.
___________________________________________________
Cornell Armstrong CB – 6’0 185 – 22YO
The Dolphins drafted Armstrong in the 6th RD of the 2018 NFL Draft (#209). A 4 year starter for Southern Mississippi, he finished his career with 5 INT’s, 1 for a TD. Armstrong has had a slow start so far in training camp, and as we all know, he better pick it up, or he will find himself handing in his playbook sooner than later.
___________________________________________________
Taveze Calhoun CB – 6’1 188 – 25YO
Signed originally by the Bears as an UDFA then released, and signed by the Saints. The Saints released him in December of ’17, and the Dolphins signed him to the PS. In January, Miami signed him to a future/reserves contract. Another cornerback from Mississippi, but Mississippi St. in this case, totaled 6 INT’s in 3 years, also forcing 3 fumbles and recovering 1. Another longshot to make the roster, he faces an uphill battle. Tavese (pronounced Tuh-VEZ) had 2 INT’s in practice and a fumble return (60 YDS) for a TD, so don’t count him out quite yet.
___________________________________________________
So that’s where we’re at with the CB’s. I wouldn’t count Tank out of starting opposite X, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Lippett was on the PUP to start the season. I just have a feeling he might not be ready. I hope McTyer keeps pushing, and pushing hard, that will make Tank earn it if he wins that battle. I also hope X keeps balling, and doesn’t rest on his late year success. I also realize that I haven’t included Minkah Fitzpatrick in this group, because he’s the guy who will be playing everywhere, including both inside and outside in certain situations as a CB. Basically, he’s going to be a matchup guy, so Minkah will be everywhere. Good ol’ Bobby McCain is steady as can be, and I hope he continues in that vein. next up, safeties!

We Shoulda kept Parkey imo. 21 of 23, tied Franchise record, and first and only NFL kicker to convert 4 onside kicks in a year? His 54 yd FG beat the Chargers with a minute on the clock.
Atlanta, 49 yd FG forcing overtime, and 34 yd FG for a rare Dolphin overtime win.
And the hated jets , 39 yd FG wins the game with 22 seconds left.
Kickers can make a few games differance on WIn loss column
Fins went cheap this year, no money for some of our top performers.
Landry, Suh, Parkey, and Pouncey, lets hope this doesn’t bite us in the ass
I don’t like the message it sent, be a star player for Miami, earn a big contract, and we don’t want you or gonna pay up.
Landry , the prolific spark plug , played for freakin NFL minimum wage! When it was Time to get paid, we send him to hell! Errrr Cleveland, close to it
Landry put his ass on the line for us, gave his all. He wasn’t perfect, no one is, but what did RT give us last year? RT made millions to sit the bench, and Landry got paid crap shit to carry the offense sometimes singlehandedly.
This isn’t my private room, lmao where the hell is everybody? 😎 Everyone welcome here!
Everyone of’Em earned it vs TB !!!
“”””Dolphins rookies had the team logo on their helmets for the first time in camp.””

GOFINS!!!
Good move by Gase.
David, why are you harping on Landry? You haven’t moved on? Our offense was never great with him.
He was far superior than RT less year, for a small fraction of RT salary.
I’m not harping on Landry, there were 3 other players let go as well.
Landry is notable because he gave the most production , for the least salary, then rewarded with Cleveland for his fine efforts.
It sends a message to the rookies, play your ass off, and browns are your 4 year reward, SMH
He isn’t worth what he was asking for and what CLE paid him. His production didn’t result in a lot of points. You can’t compare his salary to RT who is a QB. Also players get hurt and yes they still get paid, that’s part of the deal.
We have also found out that Jarvis is a whiny bitch who can’t seem to stop ripping on Miami and actually lying with some of the stuff he has said. His 9 TDs all within 10 yards will not be hard to replace.
Yea, sometimes he was a problem, and penalties and temper issues got to him and hurt the team some.
But no one questioned his commitment and spirit on the field, of course I will miss that gungho competitiveness
I feel like we basically used Landry, but the dirty business is done, we have to move forward.
I’m just not liking the inspiration it provides our current rookie and rookie contract crop. We gonna send Fitzgerald and Tunsil to Cleveland too after milking their talents for 4 years rookie contract? I’m not liking that
I’m not gonna mention the Landry deal again, this was my first time actually, lol. Been gone for awhile.
I just hope our younguns don’t get discouraged, that’s it in a nutshell.
I like our players We have, I just hope we encourage and respect them enough so they can be their very best, and enjoy bringing a championship to the Dolphin Nation!
Last one huh?
I believe Landry is bitter that Miami wouldn’t pay him. But I don’t justify him ripping us, He could use a dose of maturity, keep quiet, and focus on winning 1 game this year, lol sorry Jarvis
Landry put his ass on the line? How about he didn’t listen to his Head Coach? He wasn’t worth what he got, that’s why he’s on the Browns. From what I recall, we offered him $13M per. That’s more than he’s worth, so he chased the money to CLE. He’s got no one to blame but himself in that regard if he’s not happy
Thought I heard that he got an unsportsmanlike penalty on very first play for Browns…
Was that rumor true??
Sounds like Parr for his course !!!
And Parkey kicks FG’s for one year to land a 4per year contract…
Liked him a lot, but that crazy money for a K with less than a decade of consistency, IMHO !!!
Mike E; many agree with your point of view on Landry. But I believe Landry, for the most part, ran EXACTLY the patterns the specific play called for to the best of his ability. When the plays failed to produce enough yardage, Gase BLAMED THE PLAYER for running the wrong pattern when, in reality, it was Gase’s fault for calling a 5 yard pattern on 3rd and 7.–This coming season will shed some light on this issue. But I believe the Dolphins would NOT have offered13-14 million per year to a guy who consistently did NOT run the right pattern. I believe ROSS deliberately low balled both Landry and Parkey, banking on his belief that he could fill those spots for less money and get EVEN BETTER PERFORMANCE than he would have gotten from those two players. AGAIN, this season will help prove whether or not management’s choices were the right ones.
Nobody can question Landry’s grit and ability to catch the ball. He’s just not an explosive player who changes games and he’s being paid as such.
Cleveland’s money is just as green as Miami’s. Where he decided to sign on as a FA was his choice. He went for the largest paycheck. We offered him a huge raise to stay in Paradise (Miami), but he opted for a bit more money even though it meant going to Hell (Cleveland).
That was all on Landry. We didn’t cut him or trade him. The Miami offer would’ve made him wealthy for life. With no income taxes in Fl, the increase to play in Ohio becomes even smaller.
Brian Hartline, another WR, gave us two 1000 yd seasons before we sent him to Cleveland, and yet he took out a full page ad thanking the fans in Miami and never whined or bad-mouthed his ex-teammates.
He never threw his small body into a pile of huge defenders? Never get t cold cocked on slants? Never tossed himself into blocks, one time so hard he drew a penalty? Never caught a hundred passes a season, fighting for every inch? That’s what I meant by putting his all out there.
Obviously the rest of it, I am as unhappy about it as You are.
Almost all teams are forced by the salary cap to let some talent walk at the end of their rookie contract or at various other times. We have depth at WR so we could let Jarvis go. We got two stars for less than Landry is getting.
NE does it. Philly just did it. They sent a cog in their SB team to TB. Quite a comedown right?
No, the player got paid more. The Eagles could not afford to keep everyone.
But I moved on from likening Landry the most, now I’m going with Fitzgerald. I think Fitz along with Jones gives us the best safeties in the NFL. Howard’s playing lights out starter ready, and we need someone to stand above the crowd for the other cb slot.
This could be one of our best secondaries ever if all stay healthy!
With Mcmillion returning to MLB, and some new toys for the DL, this could morph to a championship caliber defense with some seasoning and patience!
We need a shut down defense, that what it takes for Miami to win it all.
The steps Jax took to improve, are what we need to do. They brought in defenders, OL and RB to basically help Bortles, lol
But they are making huge improvements, and are considered a damn sb contender this season.
We can do the same thing, get our defense playing lights out, our OL blocking well for our talented RB,s, and Tanny burning the shit out of them with play action when the defense expects run.
RT is better than Bortles at rolling out and passing, and other things, lol. But don’t count Bortles out yet, he could be the next el Manning that wins a sb. Anyways We use RT strengths for mismatches with our incredibly talented WR,s. The offense is jam packed with performers, damn!
If we can get a Jax type of defense, with OUR offense, we could be going deep into playoffs, and going for the crown in a year or two
Rookie seventh-round pick Jason Sanders handled the kicking duties Sunday. He was 8-for-8 on field goal attempts, including two from 61 yards.
Damn, 61? 😎 I wonder if Gase would give him such a long try
“Bobby McCain lined up as a boundary cornerback with the first-team defense.
Rookie first-round pick Minkah Fitzpatrick lined up at nickel cornerback alongside safeties Reshad Jones and T.J. McDonald.”
Is this a “getting the best 5 DBs on the field” line-up? Tank and McT losing ground? Lippett is hurt.
Good points everyone 👍
Rookie third-round pick Jerome Baker lined up at linebacker with the first-team defense.
It seems Anthony isn’t smart enough to get himself in position to make plays. Sad.
I’m looking at our roster, and this is some of the most talent I have ever seen for our team overall.
If Gase can get this bunch of talent “his players” to gel as a team, he sky’s the limit, I swear. We loaded the offense and defense both.
We even have a powerback, Gore, lol. Picked up Albert Wilson, Ballage, and some I will miss, big roster change this year!
That depth you speak of would not have been possible, if we kept Landry, Parkey and Suh.
Parkey was cut by Clev, we pick him up and he has a career year. Overpaying guys like that is what kills your cap.
Read this shit, lol dayuummm
😎We loaded the damn cabinets, stuffed the pantry, and the garage is full to the ceiling, lmao
http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/roster/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins
Rookies know if they perform at a high level someone will pay them, they dont care that Landry didn’t get paid, except for the fact that it leaves more money for them.
This is true, job security is earned, but maybe another locale
Steve, or anyone, if You are still interested in a no fees for anything but margins trading platform, I use the Robinhood Gold app on my smart phone. its extremely user friendly, and i love not paying for trades and bank transfers. take from the rich and give to the poor, lol its a perfect working mans platform.
take a look at it, i recommend starting with a hundred or 2 only, and practice with it till You get good, then You can go balls to the wall skin if You want!
all Ya have to do is buy low and sell high, no exceptions or,,,,
My top pics for Monday are ARLZ, INPX, EKSO, ABIL, MNGA, and yes AWX again
I’m going to check it out. If I buy one of these on Monday, what time do I do it?
either at 930, or the first dip afterwards. sometimes they skyrocket, so be quick if its a rabbit, buy the negatives later
Tannehill kicked running back Kalen Ballage out of the huddle and off the field after Ballage missed a blocking assignment which led to a sack.
Ballage needs to learn the finer points of the game like protection and ball security comes first. It’s nice to be able to hurdle someone but if you lose the ball without contact it’s all for naught.
If you watched his college highlights, nearly 60% of them were him trying to hurdle someone.
I saw a few of them, didn’t realize it was that high a pct. Barkley did it a lot too. Once in a blue moon fine, it should not be a staple though. Too many things can go wrong including injury.
Now that’s leadership.
Jarvis was seeking just shy of ‘QB $$$’, as a mere slot receiver. His (lack of) temperament has cost us dearly in penalty yards during crucial sits, he’s a prima donna (just like his BFF, OBJ), and he’s clearly a malcontent.
He’s disrespected Ryan Tannehill, the organization as a whole (after we OFFERED him $13M/per year), he didn’t follow directions from Coach Gase, and he can’t stop yapping about us in Cleveland.
Good riddance to Jarvis and his Hobbit agent.
Yessir! LMAO @ Hobbit agent
Him lying bothered me more than anything. Saying in CLE the QBs and receivers worked on their own and we didn’t have that in Miami. That’s total BS, Ryan has been organizing those offseason throwing sessions since 2014.
Maybe it’s just me and I missed something, but damn, was Charles Harris even on the field in that game? I’ve been hearing all these good things from his teammates, but nothing at all, zero in the game. That’s just plain old disappointing.
maybe we need to be more patient, it was only ps game 1, starters didnt play much.
I am certain Harris is a big part of our defense and will get worked in, We would be foolish not too eh?
btw Harris will be a beast IMO
Yeah he played but not a lot. We subbed a lot of guys in and out early.
our dl will likely feature alot of rotation IMO. we cant expect Wake to get EVERY snap.
keep the boys fresh and hungry so they can be most effective, and keep offenses offbalance
That’s been the mantra all offseason. The DL will play 4-6 snaps then substitutions will do the same on and on.
I’m sure if a player or two is really balling in a particular game they might have some higher snap totals. But the idea is to keep them fresh and not on the field too long getting worn down.
Even with that, the key is the offense running more plays than in the recent past where it’s been too low. The offense has to sustain longer drives more often and put points on the board.
Agreed 10000000 times M
I am worried about our defensive depth especially pass D. Our secondary was ripped to shreds in the 1st pre season game. I know it is mostly scrubs playing but those are the guys fighting for backup spots and what I saw was not encouraging
Too early for that. Everything is so vanilla. There is very little continuity in these PS games. So many substitutions and guys playing who won’t be on the 53.
Also Osweiler blows. I think we keep Petty over him
Petty on PS. I agree with this. Osweiler is terrible…
Fales still has lots of development and upside.
I think we keep just Tannehill and Fales. You can find a Petty on the scrap heap if bad shit happens to the top two.
I wasnt real encouraged with anything I saw this first preseason game. Not worried about it yet..
It’s the worst evaluation game there is. It’s just glorified practice. Some core vets not suited up and young players getting their feet wet for the first time. Then players who are in the mix are on the bench by the 2nd quarter. You have to look for some individual performances and that’s about it.
None of us will discuss this game or any PS game once the season starts.
we ran a base vanilla defense to evaluate players, We were not trying to win a PS game
That and the Buc’s 2nd string QB was Winston because he will be suspended the first 3 games. Fitzpatrick was running out of the pocket like it was a real game. I was like just throw it, what are doing?!!! LOL
of course, if we try to win PS games without evaluating players, the PS didnt help the team decide who to cut or keep. the purpose of PS is whittling down to 53, and owners make money on PS too.
would be great if we can keep Petty on PS. never know what could happen and we can call him up if a backup gets a freak injury or illness
osweiler should be googling discount flight tickets to cleveland or cfl
Kirwan and Miller were at Dolphins TC this morning. Some interesting takeaways . . .
1) Miller thinks Minkah will be starting opposite Howard
2) Both Kirwan and Miller think McMillan and Baker will be the nickel LB’s
3) Both Kirwan and Miller think we might have one of the best “Big Nickel’s” in the NFL
4) Both Kirwan and Miller think Pouncey is better than Kilgore.
5) Both Kirwan and Miller think the DL was better with Suh compared to the rotation of the DT’s we have
I was surprised they think Minkah will be the starting CB. I was disappointed that they said Pouncey is better than Kilgore. I know Pouncey “was” better, but in his current condition, I think it was lazy to just give Poincey the nod. I feel pretty much the same about Suh, I think our rotation will end up being more efficient than it was with Suh last year. I agree with them about our Big Nickel package, I think we all do.
Not buying Minkah on the boundary. Could see where he, the other two safeties, Howard and McCain set up as the regular 5 though in a “who knows where who is where” way.
Started as a corner at Alabama and played the outside depending on matchups. I think he’s one of those guys where you can line him up in a lot of roles and he’ll do it well. That’s why I was so excited he fell to us. I thought he was one of the top 5 prospects including the QBs in this draft.
The Bucs were playing a lot of new guys on the OL, I just though Harris could show a little something, win a one on one matchup. He was invisible. It’s not a huge deal, just one game, but I’d like him to show up next game.
Think we keep 3 QB on 53, including Fales & Oz
Done minus 17 anyways,
but should that be
Don’t wanna go to the streets for an absolute bum!!!
Oz is just as young/upside as Fales,
and has a connection with Gase..
Think a lot of folks simply dislike Oz for this or that before Miami,
and aren’t willing to give any benefit of doubt whatsoever…
GOFINS!!!
Minkah will start IMO< hes too valuable to sit on the bench, and is our best safety next to Reshad Jones,
Minks can play ANY secondary position
At Alabama he played all 6 DB positions depending on matchups. Saban used him to take out the opponents best receiver.
yea, hes as versatile as it gets
M – Gus Johnson is the commentator on Fox right for the Junior NBA game between the US and Africa
KV – I’d be surprised and disappointed if we keep 3 QB’s. It should just be Tanny and Fales. If we go past them, the season is over anyway, and none of them are really developmental projects, they are what they are. We can use that roster spot for more usefully IMO
Agree Mike, Lotta guys I want more than QB3
Just don’t want Gase left with a reason to re-dial-up Cutler
GOFINS!!!
F’n Gus Johnson is the BEST!!!
David, other than Landry Miami has been very good at rewarding and resigning their own the past 3-4 years. In some cases they have been too generous IMO. Landry is the exception rather than the rule with Miami recently and they did try to resign him too. Reportedly 13M per season? That’s not insulting.
i guess if he was happy here he would have taken it. wonder why cleveland seemed better? lol
whats the appeal of a cold industrial city in decline that wins one game a year?
What is the reason why Cleveland is called “the mistake on the lake”?
Elliott Yoon, lives in Cleveland
Cleveland is a city with many misfortunes, and is infamous for quite a few.
The most notable include:
The Cuyahoga River catching on fire: By the 1960’s, Cleveland’s pollution was getting out of hand, as it was quickly becoming one of the biggest industrial centers in the United States of America. The sewage and waste disposal would dump all the litter into the Cuyahoga River, until on June 22, 1969, pieces of debris slicked with oil caught fire, soon emblazing the whole river.[1]
The Browns’s relocation to the Baltimore Ravens: The Cleveland Browns’s former owner Art Modell decided to move the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore in 1995. Since the relocation, the Brown’s have struggled to get a winning season, and finished 5–11 for the initial first season after the relocation.
The Cleveland Browns (in general): The Cleveland Browns just finished the 2017-’18 season with a historic 0–16 record. In fact, they were only one loss away from the same record the season before, finishing 1–15.

lmao, thats gotta be it
, who needs a bunch of cops at the games anyway, damn closet jets fans lol
https://www.newsweek.com/police-told-boycott-miami-dolphins-games-after-kneeling-protest-1069888
I’m not sure they are Stej fans?
Probably just exercising their rights to what they want to spend their money on?
I could be way off though
i was jk about jets fans, i dont like folks boycotting the Fins, there is no reason to boycott us
south FL cops should be too busy trying to prevent the next parkland, since they dropped the ball last time and students paid dearly. they dont need to waste their time at Fin games, they arent needed there imo
See it just goes to show that EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion
i suppose that is true, but the FINS will be sold out baby, mark it down! its gonna be an exciting season!
Does protesting a protester put you squarely on the side of what the protester is protesting? Police boycotting football players who are protesting police brutality…..doesn’t that say “I support police brutality and racism”?
yes
“How dare they complain about inequitable treatment!”
David
Landry thinks he’s the best WR in the game and wanted to be paid like it. Simple as that. Gase thought otherwise and coached him long enough to determine what kind of player and teammate he was. They still offered $13M and he scoffed at it…good riddance. He know shows his ass repeatedly…have fun in Cleveland
*now
i know ER, just hope the players are ok with it. how ya doin by the way?
Good man thanks.
I think the players are fine. They are pros…plus it more opportunities for them
“Those people are ruining my whole foot ball experience by kneeling for 67 seconds before the game.”
up to 67 now? well shit, that changes everything, lol JK
when i go to a game, i just want to see 60 minutes of WINNING football, the anthems arent worth a hundred a ticket imo
Oh really… the rest of us want to see mediocre nothing special type shit!!! LOL
I got to drive my old Volvo today, it is officially a roller now. Long process getting this car back on the road. Probably will sell it, but I might keep it a little while and enjoy it before I do.

Nice!
Yea, Yea, Yea, it’s practice…
What does practice do ???
“”””””
3) End of Game Situations
The Dolphins have focused an ample amount of time this training camp on end of half and game situations. Today’s scenario was end of game with the first team units on both sides of the ball going head-to-head. The offense is down by two points, zero time outs left and only .26 seconds left in the game facing a third and seven. After an incompletion on third down, placekicker Jason Sanders trotted onto the field to attempt a 61 yard field goal. Sanders drilled the kick threw the uprights and took advantage of his opportunity under pressure, and that was good to see.”””” Congemi
GOFINS!!!
whats the record longest fg, 63 or 64?
I believe it’s still 63, Dempsey that dude with just a half a foot,
head on K with a squared front of cleat 1960’s if I recall…
I know it’s been equaled over the decades,
and may be 64 or so by now…
i googled Matt Prater in 2013 hit a 64
the trouble with a long FG attempt is if You miss it, the other team has great field position.
best time to try is not much time on the clock
Fersure,
Or early when plenty of remaining time to recover from giving a short field…
Missed the 53 on PS first drive, setting a negative early tone,
with TB having short field for entire first half…
Field position changed in second half…
GOFINS!!!

I’m with Naples about Anthony at LB.
He was just washed out of what seemed every play.
I thought Asiata played very well. Would like to see him become a viable back up and potential starter 8n the waiting.

Landry did indeed get a taunting penalty on the Browns very first play,
NULLIFYING his 31 yard reception !!!
Did he really?
Ran an up, out, & up the sideline for 25 yard reception, back peddled for another 5
Was blanketed via single coverage the entire route,
turned around and defender didn’t, kept and caught ball just above defenders helmet…
NEGATED!!!
good to see him fit in well with the browns, lmao, thats gotta be a tough challenge, lol
if he keeps this up, they may get their half win a year!
He got 30 or whatever on the catch, then they walked it back 15. That’s a me first player that doesn’t deserve $15M. He’s such an asshole I’m so glad he’s gone. Stomping his feet around the field after his 2 yard catches on 3rd and 3 like he did something.
Speaking of receptions short of 1St down marker,
and forcing whoever to fight for the required 1St down distance
Vs TB
I noticed that most such pass plays seemed more designed to be hit beyond 1St down marker,
(moreso than all the years past that we’ve been scream’n’bout such)…
Just the first few plays
15 yard Stills 1St down
next play
Drake catches one at 7 yards, (not 2 & fight for 5)
Next play, 2ND & 3
6 yard pass & catch to Stills (easy-peasey 1St down)
Holding 1/20
Danny Bubble for 4
Drake run for 5
Drake run for 10 (4th & 1)
Drake for 1St down with 1.5 shoes on..
From a variety of 6 skill player sets
that offered a multitude of options!!!
GOFINS!!!
PS
All’Dem Drake runs were between the T’, if not G’s !!! 😜
“””Lept “”” and caught ball just above defenders helmet
Gase video presser
LOL AG takes shot at wanna-be OG Omar
Goedert off to a good start, I think We get Gesicki a couple targets next game
Gesicki “””great route””” twisted up cover guy good,
had an easy TD vs Bucs if not Fales late overthrow!!!
Who?
I hope we sign Breeland, he isn’t smoking fast, but He uses good cover angles, has long arms, and closes or recovers nicely when WR gets separation.
He’s a solid physical player and tackler, and on many tackles he strips the ball or attempts it.
He’s a solid veteran with ball skills, not spectacular, but could line up as a starting CB for us
Well at least the energy level is up!
Wow man…fists were flying. Gabe Wright came and punched Kenyan Drake in the face. Gase is not going to like this.

that’s what teams did to him last year…..he needs that….may toughen him up….1.8 and a punch in the face!
tanne in the shot gun……kenny stills is kneeling……gase takes off his pants…… the ball is snapped and drake gets 1.9…oh my the mis direction worked…….. what great trickery!!!

I got to drive my old Volvo today, it is officially a roller now. Long process getting this car back on the road. Probably will sell it, but I might keep it a little while and enjoy it before I do.

when talking cars the term “Roller” means it doesn’t have an engine in it.
This one does.
I’m watching the preseason game, 2nd half, and just saw that throw by Fales to Owusu. That was a beautiful throw. The placement was picture perfect.
One more thing, after hearing how much Ross is spending on the new practice facility for the team, I think it’s ludicrous to say that Ross is cheap. $80M for the new training facility, over $500M for the stadium renovation. I think the cheap talk really needs to end.
Those that say cheap dont seem to understand how the salary cap works. Fins use or carry over all they can.
What a morning!
Arlz went to 60 and I day strike sold em, INPX up 6 and climbing, Abil exploded and sold them, what a day,! Also got several others over 15 percent and climbing to limit sells😎
