Well, thanks to the Dolphins generous defense, we managed to make RB Adrian Peterson look like AP circa 2014. Peterson ran over and around our defense to the tune of 118 yards on 23 carries for a healthy 5.1 YPC. That’s more than half his season output. Ah, it wasn’t just the defense that smelled bad, the offense was worse. Josh Rosen looked confounded by the Redskins pass rush and wasn’t up to the task on Sunday. I have no problem with Coach Flores naming Rosen the starter and then pulling him from the game. Just because he named him the starter doesn’t mean he’s not accountable for his play. He was awful and deserved to be pulled, and for what it was worth, Fitzpatrick handled the offense better than Rosen. We all knew this season was going to be ugly but many of us thought the Dolphins had a decent shot to beat the Redskins in our house.
Now the schedule becomes difficult again with a trip north to Buffalo. Buffalo’s defense is heads and shoulders better than the Redskins so that game in Orchard Park will be even more challenging for young Josh Rosen. Hopefully our game plan has him up to speed. This past week it was RB Mark Walton who got some action and he looked pretty good doing so. Drake and Ballage both took a back seat to Walton in production as Walton lead the team with 75 yards rushing and receiving combined. Drake got more action in the 2nd half with Fitzpatrick as the short passing game was used often. I saw us using 6 OL a few times to no avail, and I also multiple TE formations. Our O-line is bad folks, and it may look worse against an aggressive Bills defense.
Hey, whaddaya know, our defense got no sacks this past week! No Taco time? Charles Harris remains sackless! Read that as you like. 🙂 I realized the most painful thing about watching the game in the stadium is you can’t change the channel on the 4 big screens. Oh how I wished that I could!
GO DOLPHINS!
#staythecourse

i know what You mean Mike, I cant handle the Dolphin games in person anymore either, this truly is the worst team in the NFL
Dolphins are tattoed with L on their foreheads from the top to the bottom, tickets should be free IMO
dolphins are the dumpster behind the fruit stand, rotten and attracting insects , lol
the owners, coaches, and players are not NFL talent, and look like they are way in over their heads,
even the 2020 draft cant fix all of this, this team is years away from being able to compete
I see you’re still struggling with the rebuild. It’s not pretty when you do this is it?

Weekend Pics.. once ya open, click on drop down and 4 sub menus come up… apologies anything taken with wife’s phone IS Avery tiny… most were a real camera
Some great shots in there Toba. On top of being the Bus God you are the Chronicler.
As bad as we are we only lost by a point. We could have tied the game as we know.
I can’t see getting more than a 4th for him.
I was thinking a 3rd, but it wouldn’t be huge for sure.
Well he was a 3rd rd pick 4 years ago so that wouldn’t be so bad. Hate to see him go but we know what’s going on so.
And on the flip side. Maybe the attitude is asking Drake to decide if he wants to be part of the future or not.
“A source with direct knowledge said the Dolphins actually have shown interest in recent weeks in giving Drake a contract extension beyond this season. There have been conversations between the Dolphins and Drake’s representation.”
– Barry Jackson
It seems it’s all on good terms.

LMAO…..my first thought once the game was over was “Imagine being a Skins fan right now😂”
Yeah the Skins weren’t suppose to be this bad. Everyone knows what we’re doing. But some other teams who were not supposed to be bad are having very disappointing seasons.
Charles Harris remains sackless! Read that as you like. 🙂
LOL Mike E! good one.
I am really pulling for Tankersely to step up. I was very happy with his play as rook at times, but he definitely had the sophomore slump and then ended is sophomore season on IR. Grab this opportunity young man!
He did struggle a bit last year but he only played in 6 games. I also have hope for him.
I think Gase broke him
it was our expert D coordinator who was a DB coach that broke him.
Burke was a former LB coach.
I liked Tank. He started out really nice for us, then struggled. I’d like to see what he can do when healthy.
Toba – thanks so much for all the pics!
I would like to see Tankersely come back and not miss a beat. (I am using his full name so as not to get confused with the Tank we don’t like) I had hoped we had found a gem in the rough. Now I hope again. That is a four letter word. Hope. ;-(
Rocko – I still have the damn book!
Oh well. I’ll just buy it when I get through the Rothfus books I just picked up.
Are ya coming to Joisey anytime soon?
Just don’t expect to ever get a conclusion to the king killer chronicles. Patrick douchefus is never going to publish the &^%^%$#%$ 3rd book.

Yes, you are correct. I was thinking Vance Joseph in 2016 from the Bungles that was supposed to be a “guru” with backs.
Hey Mike, how much uglier did you look in person at the Fest? 😉
Just as ugly as always

Been waiting on that book for years!
A week ago today we were in Hollywood Beach kicking off the festivities. Can’t wait to do it again and hope more of you can make it out to meet us fuckers in person. What a great group of people that I consider great friends.
Toba.. great job with all the pics !!!

Oh and Stanger thanks again for great seats and D&B Saturday night. We ran into your lovely wife at the airport on Tuesday. Was great to see her again.
Matt Moore handing off to Damien williams for the Cheifs
That’s Matt Moore replacing Chad Henne handing the ball off to Damien Williams.
Mahomes to the locker room
Even though a few of us knew that Kenyan Drake was the next man up… er, to be gone, it still doesn’t sit well with me. However, I’m happy that it’s amicable to both the organization and Drake’s camp.
For whatever the reason, we just can’t seem to retain a decent ‘homegrown’ RB.
We’ve only ever had 2 natty draft picks to ever rush for over 4,000 career yards with us: “The Sundance Kid” and Ronnie Brown. Remember, Ricky was drafted by Ditka with the Saints. And even the great Mercury Morris fell shy of 4,000 rushing yards with us.
In the end Ajayi was a cock bag & Drake is an explosive yet limited talent. I will say Drake & Miami have handled everything the right way on both parts. I think a Taylor or Dillon in the draft will be what Miami looks for at the RB spot.
I hear ya, man… but I think getting our O-Line fixed could pave the way for an UDFA RB to go for over 1,000 yards. Ya know, the way the Broncos used to be able to do under Kubiak/Gibbs (no credit to Mike Shanadouche as the HC). Just sayin’… 🙂
And if we don’t get that O-Line of ours fixed going into next year, we won’t be able to adequately eval the new QB… which is problematic right now when Josh Rosen is under Center.
Fix the O-Line, and it opens up both the running game and passing game.
You know me…..invest in the trenches😂
Dbolt,
I’m really happy that you’ve figured out the problems (props to Mike E) in order to post here again, man! You’ve been missed.
Thanks👍

I hate cats but love that… Nice 🐕
With all the stories and questions about this Dolphins team thus far, what a lot of people are leaving out is this was the plan that Grier mapped out and Ross signed off on. Turn over the roster and start a new with $100+M in cap space and three 1’s and two 2’s along with some other picks, trades UDFAs etc. to work with in 2020. Nothing has changed. We’re just worse than some of us thought we’d be. The game plan is still the same. Next year’s team is going to be very different.
Stop making sense!! 😆🐕. You all wanted to blow it up and when we do you bitch about losing games. Can’t have it both ways. This tear down will take a couple years to be good.
😉
I agree… except you might have been the only one who thought we could end up going to the playoffs, despite trading all of our best players! LOL 😀
That stated(!), I want to do this system reset per the “game plan”, as you just stated. And I even recall you saying after the loss last week, that it certainly looked like we weren’t trying to win what with going for 2-points, combined with that lousy play call.
WE HAVE A PLAN (*wink, wink!!!)!!! 🙂
David said we can be a playoff team, now we’re the worst team ever!!!! LOL
Yes, going for 2 last week at the end raised my brow. We’ll compete every week but winning is not the goal. It is a subtle thing. 😉
But that is the result of a rebuild. It’s about looking for players who fit the future. We’ve all been talking about it for months. LOL
Yep….they publicly announced it before the SB…..and now people are shocked with their plan
I’m sorry, but I remember nearly EVERYBODY on here talking SMACK about the beat reporters who stated that we’re tanking this year. And as Dbolt just stated above, YES, the team publicly announced it before the SB.
NOT ME.
And if ya didn’t realize that we were tanking after we traded Tunsil [YES(!!!), that trade was TOO good to pass up, sincerely(!!!)], and STILL talked smack about the beat reporters (Omar doesn’t count as a beat reporter… because he can’t even count)… I don’t want to hear that ya just recently had some kind epiphany that we’re tanking.
YES, our current players are playing their hearts out! There is NO tanking on the side of any player on any team… this has been orchestrated well above the players (FO). Now then… Coach Flo had better do a better job than what he’s done.
I they writes like a arrogant prick!
and talk like a arrogant prick!
Then they are probably a arrogant prick! 😉
Once again Omar trying to twist the knife in Dolfans fans. Uhhhmmm… the Chiefs were winning 20-6 when Moore came in and they won 27-6. Okay! One pass? Moore sucks as a full game QB. STOP!!!! LOL
M13, tanking is a dirty word. It’s a negative. Why are you hung up on this? The talent isn’t there. Even our best players have been hurt and the lineup changes week to week. It’s the result of a blowup. Why is everyone into drama? Now you can’t even rebuild your team without accusations. It’s nuts!!!
I call a spade a spade. Forget the connotation of a word. Actions speak louder than words. You are what your record says you are. Stats tell half the story (but look at ours this year).
Brother, we’re not trying to win (tanking IS a dirty word, but I’m not PC). I’m not hung up on this, I’m trying to WIN by FOLLOWING THE PLAN. It’s alright to lose a battle in order to win the war. 1-step back in order to go 2-steps forward. It’s all chess…
PROPS to my guys Rhino and Phelon, who I KNOW dig this song!
We signed Ryan Fitzpatrick, being we lost out on Teddy Bridgewater. There were very few vet QBs available after Bridgewater (now 4-0) had scorned us.
Then, we traded a 2nd rounder for Josh Rosen — hoping we could turn him into the player he was drafted to be — being the Kingsbury-led Cards and Kyler Murray were to be reunited.
Then, we traded Laremy Tunsil (and the knee-taker Stills) to the Texans. It was a solid trade with what we got in return, but…
I said it a several days ago and I’ll say it again: Fitzpatrick and Rosen HAD to have felt thrown under the bus after the Tunsil trade. I mean, how the FUNK are we to eval Rosen under these circumstances now? And, Fitz didn’t sign up for THIS!
I’m sorry, but I feel our FO is dysfunctional, and for the rationale I just stated. I realize that nobody can predict the unpredictability of the biz, but please stick to a plan, for crying out loud. Thus — and in hindsight — we never should have spent a 2nd rounder on Josh Rosen… who has now been benched due to a pizz-poor supporting cast (see our O-Line), in favor of Fitz (who had been benched a couple of weeks ago in favor of Rosen)… and now we won’t be able to see tangible growth in Rosen.
Welcome to Miami, folks. At least we’re still winless, in order for the full system reset to be on schedule.
Agree
M13, I know what we did. You forgot we looked at Jacoby Brissett and Tyrod Taylor as well. Flowers, Clowney etc. The hunt for good players started this year. Not everything comes to fruition.
We tore this team down to the frame and said now what? What are we going to build? We already knew what 2019 was going to be. There might be a dozen or even less players on this team next year than what we have now. It’s an ABSOLUTE cleansing.
We’ve already been told the top pick is Tua or bust. What if it’s Edge Chase Young? What if Grier and Flores want to build a big time defense first and then find their QB. Know what I mean?
Build from the ground up and go from there. Then I see people say draft two QBs and let them compete. Right? Have no conviction on either and just do that. LOL
Next time someone says blow it up, think about what that means.
Everyone wanted RT17 gone….he’s gone.
Everyone wanted all the high price underachieving vets gone….they are gone except Reshad.
Didnt overpay for anyone.
Tunsil trade….you take that for any player on the roster anytime, except a true elite QB.
Everyone wanted Fins to take care of their own….they signed X.
I don’t know what players they were supposed to replace everyone with. You can’t. But everyone got what they wanted and still aren’t happy…..
It will never end. LOL
Amen!
everyone got what they wanted? lol okay
At the Fest game, I had no idea that X was out so we start the game with Ken Webster and Nik Needham at CB, and Vince Biegel at LB and no Jerome Baker and Avery Moss at DE I was kinda like who the fuck are these guys? Seemed like we had a bunch of guys out for this game that I didn’t expect.

LOL!
lol, doesnt bother Me
poor analogy btw, because it has nothing to do with business
LOL
Hahaha we didnt lose out on Teddy Bridgewater. Get real.
David, after you sell off your bitcoin and become Trump rich maybe you can buy the Dolphins. Then you make me the cheerleader coach.
word to the wise, worry about Your own investments
but of course, if You think Ross is doing a great job, by all means purchase season tix, and parking passes, he needs the money
everyone gets to decide how to spend their money, giving it to pathetic millionaires inst my first choice
truth be told, examine what Ross business partners are saying about Him , and You will find the man is well hated for good reasons
NOTHING is as revealing of a person than how they conduct a business partnership
David — can you give some examples of that? Have read a bunch of stuff on him and overall impression was real good. And his chief business partner is the one with first option to buy the Phins when it sells.
Did a mock this morning and it seemed to go well. Laid off DE’s early as I think that will be addressed in FA along w/ OL.

I may have taken too many Ohio State players. LOL I didn’t notice until I was done.
Maybe they can get their 2nd back for Rosen. I hear KC needs a qb.
I’m starting a petition to put super glue on all windows, so that the lickers get stuck and can’t talk. Who is in?
Lol
Rock, how do you pronounce the safety from Georgia’s name. This is very important. 😜
‘1 INT, 2 INT, HAHA!

Used to sit all but the biggest studs in FF when played the Phins cause didn’t want to be conflicted in rooting. This week picked up the Bills D figuring might take the sting out of watching the game. 🙂

The censored version of the Count song. For those that haven’t seen it, check it out. Pretty hilarious.
Nothing changed, simply comedy brilliantly derived from the judicious use of bleeps, lol.
LMAO
I am happy with the decisions the team is making. I may be disappointed as a fan with seeing high end talent leave, but I see their logic in those moves. There is no one set way to build a team, but the scorched Earth process is one of them. Barely managing mediocrity for decades is frustrating as hell. At some point, you may want to consider going a different direction.
***
I do not enjoy watching terrible football from our team, but it’s what I expected when they said we were rebuilding. It sucks, but, hopefully, it will lead to sustained success. If it doesn’t in a few years, then they screwed the pooch. We’ll all find out.
Scorched earth it is. We’ll see if it works, but it at least will let Grier and Flores build the team exactly how they want with a whole lot of chips to bet. This one doesn’t work out all on them. And least what happens on the roster is gonna gonna be real interesting.
I prefer “frame-off restoration.”
Dbolt,
I think Delpit MIGHT be the best player in this draft. That’d be nice if we landed him.
I think he’s exactly what this defense needs. Just an excellent all around safety.
stanger,
Yep, they are putting it all on their heads and betting on themselves. They’ll either get it right or be looking for jobs. Frankly, I’d want to do it the same way. This team wasn’t close to being a solid, playoff caliber team anyway. It’s not like the way the franchise was doing it was working. They went all in…now it’s on them to turn this thing around. Both Flores and Grier seem to understand that.
Damn, Kilgore has a knee issue. Who is our backup center? Fitzpatrick is going to be running for his life Sunday. $5.00 Rosen plays this Sunday. At least some snaps.
My guess is either Shaq plays C or Boehm does and Shaq plays RG
I just checked the dolphins website and they have Boehm listed as the back up
The count song above is classic! LOL

———–
This article (and the Cardinals team) have the audacity to suggest you don’t have to trade a top player in their prime just because they may not be happy playing for you at the moment?
From the article:
“We are not trading Patrick Peterson,” Keim said (via Kevin Zimmerman of AZ Sports). “Why trade a player in his prime at one of the hardest positions to find for a maybe or a couple maybes? Love what Pat brings to the locker room, love what he brings to the field.”
Why indeed?
They’re just mad no one has offers them two 1sts and something else.
There aren’t a lot of teams as stupid as the Rams, that’s for sure, lol.
Delpee is how its pronounced old man.
Chase Young , EDGE Ohio State

Good for you putting a UCF guy in there.
Gabriel Davis is a OBJ clone. Same haircut same facial hair same number it’s actually pretty odd but he’s a damn good receiver.
My friend was telling me about this band last night. He grew up with Tommy the guitar player and Tommy’s brothers are the bass and rhythm as well as vocals. This song is from the only CD they made. Pretty good song and they wrote it.

Tim, I hope you were addressing me generically, because we’re agreeing with one another, LOL. I just can’t tell if you’re ranting at ME, or agreeing with me for others to see.
As I’ve stated before, this is a bare-boned vessel in terms of our roster this year and I think it’s pretty clear to see that, LOL. And yes, we did try to get young players with major upside who fit our scheme on both sides of the ball, as you stated… and we got skunked by nearly all of them (Clowney, Bridgewater, and Flowers immediately come to mind).
But YES, we blew the mofo up… and everything is going according to the plan (I’m being serious here). YES INDEED, we tore the roof off the sucker like Parliament…
LOL
Yes generally speaking which is often how I post. 🙂
Alright! Cheers, Brother! 😀
Who, now he’s like the rest of us
MF13
I don’t think we pursued Clowney as much as Houston tried to sell him!
It’s a whatever year!
So Whatever! 🙂
It’s all good, Wyoming! 🙂
It would have been nice to have had Clowney in place. Too bad he didn’t buy in.
So as I understand, Phindog was once again jammin’, and he was stellar as usual. This jam’s dedicated to Doggy!
Oh I dig that.
Yeah Doggy does a great job, plays a lot of fun stuff and anyone who feels like singing sings. Lot of fun.
Thanks Son. I just wish I can remember that entire night 😎👍🐕🎸🎼🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃

LOL @ Doggy!
The guitar shredded his arm, then he busted his ass falling down, while saving the guitar. The gig is tough on him but he’s a gamer.

Did you listen to first song I posted?
I’ll hang up and listen to this song while you answer
I replied to the song but yeah I dig it. Feel like I’ve heard them before.
Cool.
This song is pretty good too
We also learned this Fest that Twice can pick a bunch and has this kind of style.
TwiceTheTwice?
I’m gonna need a second guitar
That was cool
It’s MOST RARE for a musical genius such as Prince (RIP) to allow someone else to tinker with his own music. Well. Prince did just that, handing the reigns to my man SHOCK-G to reproduce “Love Sign” for him…
That’s really good
Just for some clarity in case people are down on Brian Flores.
1st year as Head Coach:
Bill Walsh 2-14
Bill Parcells 3-12-1
Bill Belichick 6-10
No Flores isn’t a Bill, but his first name does start with a ‘B’. LOL
So he has that going for him
Yes and he and Grier are from the Parcells/Belichick tree. 🙂
Beautiful
Here’s another one from my man Shock-G. The legendary Bobby Brown with legendary producers Teddy Riley and Louis Silas Jr wanted him to reproduce “Get Away” for the remix album. Turned out pretty well!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHHaPO5WpLs
I saw someone mention a Prince cover(M13)….I have yet to see anyone handle a prince cover better than this man Corey Taylor:
Nah, man… I didn’t say a Prince “cover”, I said Prince allowed another star producer to remix his song from the production booth under Prince’s name, Bro! HUGE difference! 🙂
But yessir! I like this COVER! Thanks for sharing!
Another great cover!
NICE!!!

Still find Starset as an amazing group:
