The Wedge Scouting Report: Jabrill Peppers, Safety

Change is good.

You Earthlings do it – so do aliens like me

Wedgegetshairdone

And I needed a new hairdo…

No I’m not vain

I just need something versatile for a galaxies

and what is a better example of versatility

WedgePeppersCut

Peppers!!!!

What do you think of my new hairdo?  I love it!

Its the kind of do that you can wear when you man a high powered phaser cannon or when you are relaxing eating Xerbe Squids on your day off!

Versatile like Jabrill Peppers

Peppers3

So who is Peppers you say?

Is he a Safety or a CB?  Is he a Linebacker?

Does he play defense or offense?  Is he a running back?

Does he play special teams?  Is he a kick returner or a punt returner?

Who is Jabrill Peppers???  Well as Gary Oldman once said:

everyone2

Peppers can do it all.  And that is an asset that he brings to whichever team drafts him

While playing for the Michigan Wolverines Peppers was a star.

In three years he had 86 solo tackles, 119 combined tackles, 18.5 tackled for a loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 11 passes defended, 10 catches, 82 receiving yards, 45 carries, 239 rushing yards, 5 offensive touchdowns, 39 punt returns, 510 punt return yards, 18 kick returns, 483 kick return yards, 1 special teams Touchdowns and 6 total Touchdowns.

I’m out of breathe…

Peppers4

Consider Jabrill Peppers to be the Alpha Male of the 2017 Draft.  He may be the most talented player available in 2017.

Peppers showed off that talent at the combine in Indianapolis.

Peppers, who tested with the Linebackers and the Defensive Backs ran a blazing 4.46 in the 40 yard dash, recorded 19 bench presses, a 35.5 vertical jump and a 128 inch broad jump.

Among Linebackers Peppers a the top 40 yard time, the 4th best vertical jump and the longest broad jump

Peppers5

In the NFL, Peppers will probably be a Safety and Nickelback

well that is what this alien hears anyway…but who knows.

What is really interesting is whether Peppers will play special teams in the NFL making him a dual threat he certainly has the skill set to return kicks.

Peppers6

But me…

I like Peppers on defense.  I can just imagine a healthy Reshad Jones pairing up with the athletic Peppers.  No one will be able to get to the edge against the Dolphins defense!

Peppers isn’t afraid to hit ball carriers and in fact often knifes behind the line of scrimmage fluidly.  I imagine the Peppers Safety Blitz in the NFL will be spicy!

Peppers7

So what kind of Alien Weapon is this ultimate swiss army knife

….um you guessed it

Always keep your Peppers handy

Good article Piggy. There’s something about Peppers that I like- I find myself taking him in almost every mock draft I do where he is available.

  2. D's avatar D says:

Anyone else thinking we might try to switch to a 3-4. Timmins signing, interested in Poe, Burke was in a 3-4 in cincy where his LBs were one of the better LB units in football, Gase keeps saying Phillips better get in better shape because his workload is going to significantly increase. I mean if they put Timmins inside with Alonzo and then pick up an OLB or two in the draft they probably have everything they need it the wanna do it. It wouldn’t be an ideal time IMO but when they signed Timmons I began to consider it, and the Poe thing kinda strengthen the thought

    • I’d say the Poe thing has no legs. They’ve got about $14M in cap remaining and they can cut Misi and Jordan but the brass also likes to carry over some to next season and they like to keep some cap space to sign guys who are cut between now and the season.

If anything, guys like Sen’Derrick Marks and Bennie Logan would be more in play at this time. Marks, because he’s 30 and is probably going to come relatively cheap and will only get a 2 to 3 yr deal tops or Logan who’s looking for a 1 yr prove it deal.

They aren’t looking long-term solution at DT in free agency. They want to bring that guy in thru the draft and will pick someone up in this year’s draft. Big Stevie from USC is one of their top guys.

It’s still a big need, and if the right player is there, just like any other position of need, we’ll take the best one. If that’s Forrest Lamp, so be it.
    Reply

Mike, if he is the BPA I will have no problem with it. I just don’t like the idea of having used 5-6 first round picks on OL since Long.

  4. I have to admit I’m not a big fan of Mr. Peepers.

  5. What’s great is, eventually, we’re going to see less and less guys being brought in thru free agency and more and more of OUR guys being re-signed and being drafted and developed.

Next year’s free agency period will be even more different for this team. We won’t be looking at the top guys at each position anymore like we did this year and when I say WE I don’t mean the team. I mean those of us who were talking guys like Zeitler and Hightower. We’re not going to give a shit about those types of guys anymore.

  6. If Hightower is really THAT good why didn’t one of the teams with a ton of cap throw a boatload of money at him?
Consider the 49ers and where they started and still with $88M in cap and they aren’t even interested and their LB situation isn’t that good.

  7. Eagles want a 5th rd pick for Kendricks. With 3 picks in the 5th I’m giving them one. Kendricks has a base of $4.85M this year and beyond that nothing is guaranteed. Cut Misi and bring him in.

  8. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Great Write Pig — and loved the red chili dreads. If we took him could even see at times Peppers switching to LB in the nickle rather than putting Timmons in coverage. So like a lot of folks, know what would like to see us pick up first at the draft grocery store.

  9. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I think these 4 guys are serious targets at 22

    Peppers
    Lamp
    Reddick
    Cunningham

Think all 4 can contribute year 1

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Peppers and Lamp would be awesome. If we got either Reddick or Cunningham would you see them as SAMs? Was thinking we might go with a mutli-task three at LB, but TImmons seems a pure middle guy.

There is a down side to him with the unknown. Is he a good enough cover guy? Is he a willing tackler down in the box?

I would put Lawson on your list of – interested in at 22.

Just back from Orlando convention. Saw that Dion Sims was lost in F/A. NOT sure if that was a good move. Also saw NO guards or centers were signed. HMMMMMM. Maybe later.

  18. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

how busy am I? 😦 missed the first days of FA… got time today to read and turns out we resigned or signed about 5 guys. damn.

So far it seems we have made ‘safe’ moves that if the draft falls apart we still can field NFL level starters at DE, LB, S, and one G position at least.

  19. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Piggy, love the swiss army knife graphic.

  20. olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

DID NOT see any stories about Larson in the Orlando paper that was sold on I-Drive. GLAD to hear the news! NOW get us one more quality starter in the O-Line and we’ll be in MUCH better shape. Still have faith in the Gase/Grier team’s ability to produce a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Thanks for the update and the article, Piggy!

  21. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

    Larsen’s deal is also 3 years $5,650,000, not $9M.

  22. I didn’t mean to piss of Bushrod but it’s true that MIA is only bringing him back as a last resort.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Yeah and he still might sign at the end of the day. He might just be a chip in our pocket. If he really likes being here like he’s said and he knows his role could be limited, I guess it’s up to him if the money is right and he’s willing to give it one more go. He’ll be 33 in August which isn’t ancient, but he’s hinted at retirement and his body might be wearing down. I thought he did a solid job considering coming off of injuries and playing an entirely different position and side from LT to RG.

      • I think there’s other guys they’re still looking at right now and playing a bit of a waiting game because the longer they sit there the cheaper they will be and if they can get one of those guys they’ll do that.

If not, then they go back to Bushrod because he’s probably going to be a signing of last resort for many.

  23. This Hightower situation is turning out just like I thought it would. Now he’s on to the Jets. Someone may end up paying him but why would TEN, with all their cap and their situation at LB, not sign him?

If he’s THAT good and he’s ELITE, like I’ve been told by so many, then why wouldn’t TEN give him the Collins-like deal he was looking for? Collins got 4yrs/$50M. If Hightower is as elite as people say he is then TEN would have no problem giving him that kind of money. It’s a bargain for an elite player. Isn’t it?

  24. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Lou, I see another Larsen type signing even if in June. I definitely think we’ll draft a guard at some point. Guard should not be the toughest position to fill and it has been for us for too fucking long. LOL

I think that may change in 2017.

  25. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I wanted Timmons over Hightower. I think when we play that 5-2 defense, Timmons and Alonso are the box LBs and Misi and Hewitt will likely be more outside LBs. Where do we go from here?

    • I think Misi’s playing days in MIA are just about over. If we don’t sign someone in FA we probably draft a LB and then Misi is gone. If that doesn’t happen then we probably pick up someone after the cuts to replace him and he’s gone.

One way or another I think he’s finished. I don’t think they are going to stick with oft-injured players anymore who can’t help the team if they are on the sideline and that’s part of the new culture.

I look for them to start looking to either release guys or trade them if they can’t help the team.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I’m just going by what we have now. I also think Hewitt could lock up a lot of playing time at both OLB spots in different formations. Many fans and media treat this guy like he can’t play and they’re wrong. He’s a solid rotation OLB and STs player. He’ll be 24 in April. Maybe he hasn’t even gotten started. He has over 100 tackles, 1 sack, 4 PD, 1 INT and 1 FR in two seasons as a developmental role player.

I still have a feeling he’s going to break out.

      • Yeah, Hewitt was a pleasant surprise. I think he’ll continue to develop with us and give us a good, solid backup guy for quite awhile

  26. I, for one, am thrilled the Pats signed Gilmore and are looking at letting Butler walk.

  27. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Lou, draft a LB and push the competition. I think Hewitt is what you say he at the least. He’s got upside though – young dude, soon to be 24 in 2017 at 6-2 235-240 with sub 4.7 speed and NFL experience now.

I hope we’re putting a 1-2 rd tender on him next year as a RFA. 🙂

He might be the reason we didn’t go bonkers at LB so far – Alonso, Timmons, Hewitt, Misi (for now) and the long shots. Still time in FA and then the draft. We’re definitely drafting a LB or two.

    • I think Hewitt is a good, young player. Like I said, he surprised me. Our coaching staff got a lot out of him last year and they can probably develop him a bit further too.

That being said, I think he’s great depth for us but Kiko and Timmons are the guys who will start and we will be looking to fill the other spot out with a draft pick. Timmons, of course, is not a long-term answer but I think they address that when the time comes. He’s definitely here for two years and unless he shits the bed he’s going to be playing.\

I like Hewitt but he’s not going to start for us.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Alonso will likely become a long-term LB, Timmons is a 2 year guy, team wants to compete for a championship now, not in that proverbial 2-3 year window. I guarantee you we’re trying to get to the SB just like ATL did last year in 2017/18. 🙂

        Stop fucking it up!! LOL

  28. $4.85M salary or not, Mychal Kendricks should definitely be a consideration for MIA in a trade w/PHI.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Only with a prove it deal. His game has gone downhill consistently.

      • it really hasn’t and it would be like a one yr prove it deal because there’s no dead cap after this yr.

but, getting back to his play, it hasn’t gone downhill. I think it’s a bit of a misunderstanding a lot of people who don’t follow the Eagles have about him but the Eagles coaches, for some reason, decided they weren’t going to use him as much as they did in the past. I’ve watched several of his games from ’15 and he played very well and there was no reason for PHI to do what they did with him in ’16.

I also look at it from the point of view that we have a better coaching staff than the Eagles.

  29. I understand that PHI may cut Kendricks anyway & you can possibly get him for less but how many teams will you compete against?

  30. My quick MIA 3 rd mock: RD1: Haason Reddick, RD2: Pat Elflein, RD 3: Carroll Phillips

  31. So here’s the latest rumor. MIA is giving up a 2018 1st for Trumaine Johnson. Interesting considering we’ve got about $9M remaining in cap and Johnson is tagged at $16M. Even if they can renegotiate his contract and give him a signing bonus to cut his cap hit this year they wouldn’t have enough to sign players in case of injury or if anyone was available after cuts.

  32. If the team cuts Misi, Maxwell and Jordan it clears $10.5M in cap. That gives them around $20M to make the deal and get him signed long-term. They’d need to have a cap hit in the neighborhood of $7-$8m in first yr on him.

  33. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

    Lou, resources about Trumaine Johnson?

    • some guy on Twitter who knows a guy who washes another guy’s car. he said he’s on a board that is frequented by someone within the Rams organization saying the trade is close to happening.

      Like I said, it’s only a rumor.

    • D's avatar D says:

I couldn’t find it either. I know we were said to be interested a few days ago when FA started, but I haven’t seen anything since. I don’t think we can afford to make that deal anymore so kinda like Lou said, I think you see some other things happening before we would likely be pulling the trigger. The before mentioned cuts and I would also think Rams renegotiation of his contract. I don’t think we run the rush of doing the trade and THEN trying to renegotiate. We would have to have that part done first.

  34. D's avatar D says:

Orion Stewart S Baylor is a guy I have been interested in for a while now, I know the Phins met with him after EW Shrine, but I don’t know what their exact interest is in him. He has good tape though and is a former DB teammate of Howard

  35. Okay, the rumor update is a 2017 6th rd pick, which we no longer have, and a 2018 2nd rd pick.

Pete Prisco at least approves of our moves so far.
    ———————-
The Skinny: The Dolphins made keeping their own a major priority. They re-signed receiver Kenny Stills and defensive end Andre Branch and also gave safety Reshad Jones a contract extension. I like teams that take care of their own. They also traded to get tight end Julius Thomas from the Jaguars. Thomas played his best football in Denver when Dolphins coach Adam Gase was the team’s offensive coordinator. They signed Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons and also added Titans tight end Anthony Fasano, one of the best blocking tight ends in the league. Timmons has slowed some, but he will be an upgrade in Miami. They also traded a sixth-round pick to get pass rusher William Hayes (and a seventh-round pick) from the Rams. They had a nice start to free agency.

Grade: B+. They have improved their team, but are they good enough to dethrone the Patriots?

  42. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Maybe it is just sour grapes cause he will not be playing any more, but this from Jordan Cameron is not what you want to hear from a guy on your team. Heck — even if the players were smaller (but so was I) used to get hit in freezing weather at his age for free other than fun.

“I don’t think a lot of these guys love football, to be honest, A lot of them don’t. You play for other reasons, and every guy has their own reason. They know why, and as long as your why is really important, you keep playing without really loving football.”

“Because really, who loves to get hit in 10-degree weather by a 280-pound person? Really, no one likes that. ‘Do you love football?’ I couldn’t stand when people asked me that.”

    • BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

I’m sure what he’s saying is right. I bet most of NFL players play in the nfl for the money not because they love the game. I mean if they had real jobs would they still be playing football? Probably not. They’d be playing golf or something.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Hard for me to get my head to it cause everyone on my rugby team had “real jobs” and played cause they loved it. But maybe you are right. If it was a real job maybe the team would have been a whole lot better but the love of the game less.

  43. William Hayes restructured with Phins on 1 yr deal with cap hit of $4.75M this year and becomes FA in ’18.

    • D's avatar D says:

Sounds like he really didn’t like being traded and wants a chance to hit the market again next year so he can pick his team. Sounds like we also were fine with it, more evidence of it being a rental, until a draft pick can step up. Id almost guarantee we are thinking DE in the first with that move. We had him for 2 years off the other contract, at not much worse of a cap hit this year.

  44. With Hayes becoming a FA in ’18 we could expect him to be quite effective for us to maximize his next contract.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Sounds like he gave up 250K to not be tied to his contract for $5.5 mil in 2018…..so he paid to make it a contract year. Like that too. Also means DE in the draft becomes more likely for us.

      • BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

agreed. I think our 1st pick is gonna be edge rusher. I was hoping for peppers but I don’t think FO will go that direction.

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

      Lets hope so

    • D's avatar D says:

Lou, he didnt really like the trade. His comments right after were telling of that. I dont think he dislikes out team but seems like if he wanted to be in Miami he wouldn’t have cared that the contract remained the same. It wasnt much of a difference in pay were he to have left it the way it was. Im sure us possibly targeting a DE early made him want to get out before he gets pushed back in the depth charts.

      • He didn’t like the trade compensation. He said, and I quote, “I almost signed with Miami last year and if it were any other team I was being traded to I wouldn’t have been happy”.

He agreed to restructure his contract because it gives him the opp to be a FA one year earlier and a chance to maximize his earnings in his final years of his playing career.

  45. D's avatar D says:

I guess Poe passed through the Colts visit without a contract, so looks like he will visit us. Not sure how i feel about it. Im kinda torn between the one hand of it being a really nice addition to the DL, and the other hand where i could see his contract, even a 1 year one, being expensive. I think we could squeeze him in, but im not sure if id want to do that. Really i guess depends on if Phillips is just not ready or if the coaches think he may never be ready to be a Pro.

  46. BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

    stanger,
rugby is different IMO. How many people do you know that play real contact football, with hemlets etc… on weekends for fun? I don’t know many 🙂

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

For sure it is different, but what is more similar? Like 80% of the guys on my team played football in high school and a a good bunch of them in college. Not like haven’t heard all the stories on how they loved it. Pretty sure when they turned 22 that love was still there. On a practical side though……big difference when you have to pay the price tag for your own equipment out of your own real job paycheck.

  47. D's avatar D says:

I think id rather us make a run at Zach Brown more than i care to sign Poe. Did we even bring Brown in on a visit?

  48. sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

Zach Brown has a pretty good Country music band. It’s not everyone’s type of music, but I wouldn’t call it baggage.

  49. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Stanger, Cameron wasn’t talking about his Dolphins teammates, he was talking about players in general.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Was talking him on our team. Would like guys who say “I’d still play this game for free.” You love what you do and chances are you will be better at it. And seems we are looking for those kinda guys now.

It seems we’re in bargain hunting mode now in FA. Then after the draft we have the potential to be loaded on offense and solid on defense. This team is being built to make a run at a championship while also building for the future. The short-term contracts and re-signing our own suggests that.

Why can’t we do what Atlanta just did? The only difference is I believe we would have kept giving it to Ajayi and not play it stupid by passing when we didn’t have to. Does Belichick have control over opposing coaches’ minds as well? SMH

Because he covered Gronk and a couple of other TEs well a few times that makes him a SOLB as if there is nothing else to the job. LOL

Jordan will struggle with quick twitch skill players in space at his height and weight. I think you could use him to drop and cover a TE from time to time but I don’t think he could be an every down SOLB. Like I always say, how many 6-6 275 4-3 OLBs do you see in the league? I don’t think there is one.

Totally forgot about the fact that Hayes was the dude on Hard Knocks that said he didn’t believe in Dinosaurs, but he didn’t believe in Mermaids. lol. I guess since he didnt find any in Cali, he needed to come explore them on the Atlantic side lol.

    Julius, be Julius. 🙂
    http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18901070/julius-thomas-excited-reunite-miami-dolphins-coach-adam-gase

Thomas is a key cog in what Gase wants to do on offense. Julius already knows what that means, he knows the offense and excelled in it. As long as he’s heathy we should be very exciting about him being in Miami. He can open up the field and he’s a red zone nightmare. Especially with Ajayi as another option. 🙂

  62. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Piggy, Dartmouth Coach to Boston Logan cancelled all schedules for tomorrow as well. 😦

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

tomorrow is Tuesday as far as I know….lol
I suspect everything will be up and flying again by Wens – that’s just me
(Piggy licks a trotter, holds it up and tests the wind)
Yeah…I think Wens should be fine

  63. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

This is pretty good in theory. Replace names as you choose but this is a good approach. I think we want to add a vet DT being that Phillips is already the young guy we want to see get better. We need a DT on a 1-2 year deal. Next year is another offseason to worry about the next phase. We’re trying to build a roster this year to get back into the playoffs and hopefully go further.

For fun let’s refer to the top brass as ‘The Three Amigos”. 🙂

  64. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

M13, I liked Toth too but his 5.51 40 makes me thinks he’s playing in mud. Not a good fit in our ZBS.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

That’s a good point… but I’m allured by his ability to play T, G, and C. I should go back to the tape to see if that 5.51 40 is slower than his actually playing speed. I’ll put that on my ‘to do’ list.

  65. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

If they’re right and they are usually about 65% right, where do you go at #22 if we even stay there? LOL

    He’s going top 5.

He was ranked #2 on the big board I picked on the draft. (composite board)

  71. dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

    Tim,
There’s been some whispers of Allen dropping due to bad shoulders and the fact other prospects have a higher ceiling. I don’t know if he’ll drop that far, but there are people like Matt Miller who have said the shoulder concerns are legit.

  72. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Alright, serious question here. IF we were to trade up for somebody in the 1st Round this year, who would it be for… and what would it take to get there? I’m NOT suggesting we do so, this is just a conversation piece here.

Confession: I used to stick up for Omar like a mofo. He lost me a couple of years ago over a myriad of reasons. That guy is literally of the rails and I don’t know him any longer.

He calls himself a ‘journalist’, but he’s NOT… he’s more of a ‘pot-stirring’ commentator/agitator. It’s pretty bad when the current hierarchy of management and top-paid Phins call him out (Tanny and Wake are too classy to do it).

Omar is about to go the way of Barnum & Bailey what with his clown show.

    Jeremiah mock draft 3.0

    21-LIONS
Takkarist McKinley – DE, UCLA: McKinley would be ultra-productive playing opposite of Ziggy Ansah in the Lions’ defensive front.

    22-DOLPHINS
David Njoku – TE, Miami: I know the Dolphins are bringing in Julius Thomas, but Njoku is too good to pass up at this point in the draft. He is a matchup nightmare.

    23-GIANTS
Haason Reddick – OLB, Temple: Reddick has the ability to play any of the three linebacker spots and he can provide some pass rush off the edge if needed.

Tough choices 3 picks in a row. I like them all.

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I would not love the njoku pick
      Reddick would be my guy

      Isn’t McKinley injured?

      • In my 3 round mock I had Reddick, Elflien, Phillips and it’s going to be tough for me to change that. I really love Lamp but the versatility of Elflien and the fact that Pouncey may be looking at the end of his career or moving on has me taking his replacement this year.

Most likely, Poe isn’t leaving ATL
    ————–
Jason LaConfora was the one who stated that we WANTED to have a visit with Poe (my long lost *****, LOL). Too many uninformed people in ‘Phin Land’. We NEVER procured a visit with Poe, nor should anyone believe Jason LaConfora.

Geez… (not you, Prof Lou), too many people just LOVE a juicy headline, without knowing our current cap space. We can’t afford Poe!!! We need to get after one of the best run-defenders of the last few years, and on the cheap… his name is Tony McDaniel… or perhaps the sizable Big Paul.

    • Yep, they will probably sign a FA DT but it’s going to be a rotational guy who will get a 1 to 2 yr deal tops & be on the cheaper side. I’d still hope it to be Sen’Derrick Marks but he may come in a little too high as well. Still young and probably wants a longer-term contract.

  87. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Piggy, I could easily settle for Jordan Willis outside of the 1st round if there’s a run in the 1st on the edge rushers, which likely will happen as usghe.

  89. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

If Willis also went in the 1st or early 2nd, then perhaps Basham would fall. He’s raw from a small school conference, but he’s definitely got the tools to develop, so the Branch resigning, and Hayes addition gives us that luxury to not depend on him every down.

Well, obviously no school for me or the kids today. We went from a projected 8-12″ yesterday AM to 12-18″ yesterday evening. Well, we are now projected to get 21″ and have a blizzard warning. I just went out and shoveled a bit; at least the snow is really light!

Tim, M, Piggy – The name calling was SO unnecessary. My feeling may be hurt…I’ll have to check with it to be sure. It is 75 and balmy this morning.

  96. Looks to be about 12″ on the ground so far and more still coming down. Probably around 18″ before it’s all over.

  97. If it’s going to snow, why can’t it be “packing snow”. If you can’t at least build a snowman this is a waste of time.
